Neo: "Ok happy people, here we are."

With traffic not a problem for once, Neo was able to get the couple to their first destination. Murai had taken the initiative and made a reservation at a nice italian restaurant. In fact, it was the same place Neo had used last year on his first date, so naturally he would try the place himself.

Neo: "I have to make another stop while I'm out, so just call me when you're done eating, and I'll come back."
Murai: "Sure thing. See you then."

Stepping out of the car, Murai failed to see the wet spot that was by the door, and when he tried to get out, he slipped and fell on the back of his head. Of course, he was dazed for a moment, and when he was able to hold the door open for his date, not only were there stars in his eyes, people who has seen him were laughing to themselves. Even Neo's eyes were rolled as he struggled to keep from laughing.

Murai: "Uh... oops..."

Lareli smiled at the restaurant they were stopping at to have dinner at. She was smiling for a couple of reasons, actually. One was that Murai had chosen a very nice place to go to for their first date and the other was that they weren't going to the park to eat hotdogs and ice cream like on her date with Triston. For her, so far, the date was going wonderfully. After hearing Neo's declaration, she nodded in response and waited for Murai to disembark, flinching slightly as he tripped going out the door and falling down. She cried out in surprise and scooted over close to the door to help him stand up.

"Are you alright, Murai?"

She stepped gingerly out of the car and managed to avoid the wet spot on the ground, frowning at everyone else around them as they laughed. In her eyes, it wasn't right to laugh at someone like that because they had tripped. She glanced up at the place again and, as she gently closed the car door, whispered something to her date.

"Are you sure we're not under-dressed for eating here?"

"Yeah, believe me, I've had worse. And I don't think we are. I think I see other people dressed down like us over there."

After Lareli closed the door, Neo drove off like he said, and Murai finally snapped out of the daze he was in. Still as nervous as ever, he lead the way inside the restaurant. At the counter, the maitre'd was looking over the books as he looked over to the couple who entered, of course, speaking to them in that snooty Italian accent.

Maitre'd: "Yes, can I help you?"
Murai: "Uh.. Korikou, party of two. I made a reservation for 7:30."
Maitre'd: "Hmm... ah yes, there you are. Unfortunately your table isn't ready yet. Please have a seat over there until we're ready for you."

Even Murai could sense that the guy didn't care much, and he wasn't telepathic. So instead, he just escorted his date over to the waiting area, still in disbelief over how she looks.

"So... uh... thanks for coming with me tonight."

Lareli patiently waited and did her best to look like she wasn't up to something, though she was smiling like she was thinking of something. While Murai was conversing with the Maitre'D, she was looking at the scenery and all of the wall murals and just enjoying the ambience. She could hear traditional Italian music playing in the background and could smell the wonderful food and was nearly awash in sensations. She was practically salivating from merely smelling the foods and she wanted to have some. Quite badly. Though her mind was also entertaining another thought...

Lareli Korikou... Lareli Korikou... It sounds so nice!

Her attention was suddenly brought back from the land where Mrs. Lareli Korikou existed to the present day world where she was still only Ms. Lareli Karenell. She heard what the Maitre'D said and before she followed Murai off to the waiting room, she whispered something to the Maitre'D.

"Per favore, dicaci immediatamente quando la tabella è pronta!" (Please, tell us immediately when the table is ready!)

Smiling proudly she wanders towards the waiting room where Murai had disappeared into. She looked blankly around for a few seconds before spotting her date and rushing over to him and taking a seat next to him, going back to entertaining the thoughts of a wedding. She nearly missed what he said but managed to catch it at the last minute.

"Hm? Oh, its nothing. At least you were spared my plans of letting you meet all the girls in the school, right?"

The last part was said with a hint of a smile. All the while, in the back of her mind, she was playing "Wedding Designer" and setting things up and all kinds of things. It was scary as hell but she was doing it all while maintaining a perfect conversation.

"Good point. I think I may have gone into a catatonic state or something if that happened."

Murai noticed the smile that Lareli gave him, and proptly returned it with a small, but sincere one of his own. However, for some odd reason, his danger sense reacted. It wasn't as strong as a normal one of his, so he just figured that it just set off for some stupid reason, she just shook it off. While he was speaking though, he happened to catch the scent of the food in the air, and was starting to get hungrier and hungrier.

Man... I shouldn't have skipped lunch...

Just where he thought he couldn't take it anymore, the maitre'd showed up in front of them, and gestured them towards a table near the window. Murai was going to stand behind Lareli's chair to slide it in, but the maitre'd stood in front of him, speaking in that pompus accent of his.

"I'ma sorry sir, but you look like you might have a problem with this. Allow me to help you with that."

Frowning, Murai was going to speak up, but the maitre'd had his back turned to him, waiting for Lareli to sit down before taking his order.

Lareli follwed Murai and the Maitre'd into the dining room and saw their table. She paused and watched Murai and their server before glancing around. She finally took a seat into the chair and was promptly pushed in place. She would look at the menu, but had a really good idea of what she wanted to order. After all, she wanted to at least appear that she was indecisive about the food. It was cute to watch Murai squirm at times, which was why she liked to torture him.

She also had a profound dislike for the Maitre'd. He was being rude to Murai and she didn't like that one bit. He seemed to be inferring that Murai was not worthy of her and he didn't deserve her. She tried to stay pleasant, but there was no doubt that she wasn't too fond of him.

Unlike Lareli, Murai was sweating bullets behind his menu. It's been so long since he's had anything remotely Italian, that he actually forgot what came in a lot of the dishes. Even a normal plate of Ravioli seemed foreign to him then. Of course he was squirming at that moment, Lareli would have a field day with him if she saw. Just then their waiter arrived, and thankfully he was much more mannered then the guy who sat them down.

Waiter: "Well look at this, a nice little couple out on a date, and I get the wait on them. I'm sorry it took so long, but I can take your order if you like..."

That's when he saw the scared to death look on Murai's face, and leaned over to see what was the matter.

Murai: "I... I... I..."
Waiter: "Say no more young man, I've seen the same expression that's on your face now on lots of other peple. Let me suggest a nice Chicken Parmesan with Alfredo Sauce. Not a lot of people get this, but it's magnificent to say the least.
Murai: "O..ok. And a lemonade for the drink?"
Waiter: "Of course senor. And what could I get for you bella?

Lareli smiled politely at the waiter. She liked him a lot better than the damnable Maitre'd, quite a bit better. She put up a slight air of indecisiveness at first by looking at several things on the menu and asking about them. The waiter was, of course, glad to answer her questions. Finally, she looked at something else on the menu, something without an accompanying picture to it. She red over the description briefly and pointed at it.

"What is the Chicken Marsala like?"

"Ah, the Chicken Marsala... It's a breaded chicken breast cooked in our finest wine and left to simmer to add flavor. Of course, all the alcohol is cooked out of it, so there is nothing to worry about. I highly recommend it!"

Lareli looked at something else on the menu with her eyes before nodding her head to the Chicken Marsala. She smiled sweetly upon ordering it, too. The waiter took the information down in his little notepad and took both menus before finally asking the last question.

"And what can I get for you to drink?"

"Sweetened Iced Tea with lemon, please."

The waiter smiled and wrote that down before bowing to both of them and walking away to give the order to the cooks. Lareli smiled at Murai reassuringly.

"I love Italian food."
