Fait hovered down silently into a small clearing. A few fallen leaves and small branches fluttered away from his landing spot. Grass rippled away from him as his feet graced the blades of grass, touching back to the ground softly. His lightning wings crackled feircly in the night sky, the jet black expanse of them making the sound of shorting out electricity...only more menacing. The wings faded back into his back as he tilted his head level with the ground, looking out. He slowly cracked open his eyes, a light glow emminating from from his orbs. His eyes were full black...there was no white to his eyes...but suddenly bolts of lightning seemed to streak right across his eye...from his pupil outwards. He smirked faintly and touched his lips again with one finger....He had just been kissed by Mackenzie....the girl he had found out he truly loved not long ago. He smiled weakly as his hand drifted from his lips backwards. His clawed, metallic gloved fingertips graced by his cheek as they reached past it, reaching for the hilt of his demon blade. His fingers didn't search long, wrapping around the leather of the handle tightly and unsheathing it slowly. A soft, metalic sliding like sound quietly echoed throughout the bowels of the forest as he fully unsheathed his blade. He held it out in front of him for a moment, the long blade glowing faintly in the pale reflection of the moonlight that streaked through the upper branches. He grinned again as he ran a finger down one side of the blade. It was easily as tall as him...but it was getting a bit lighter each day. Not by much..and barely noticable...but the demon blade was starting to trust him...to let him use some of its power. At one point, he remembered struggling just to swing it once. He laughed quietly to himself at the thought...it was how he had met his friend Cyra...she was trying to save him from training to hard. His laughter stopped for a moment, a serious hint taking over his eyes as he looked down to the blade. His best friend Zeth...one of his best friends, had told him that he wouldn't live past Seventeen. He sighed lightly...he knew it was probably true...he trained to hard for his own good. He had even asked Lucian to use his full power during one of their training sessions...and he ended up near death before Lucian pulled off.....but even then he didn't give up....he walked up the mountain and trained more...and practically died as a result. He grinned faintly as his other hand wrapped around the hilt of the blade. He knew he wasn't weak...he wouldn't let himself be weak...not anymore. He had to be strong...he had to defend his friends...even if they didn't want it. Another smirk crossed his face as an image of sparring with Lucian came to mind...Beating him in a spar would be the ultimate goal for the moment...but doing so would require tireless training...new skills...mastering old ones...he had alot of work ahead of him if he was to beat his friend. |

Ray walked the forest silent moonlight streaks ran acrosed the leathry wings wraped around him. His robe forgotten long ago that night as he walked only his abs and his legs showing his wings clasepd togehter higher up on his form. Spotting a student holdign a blade he walked behind him and spoke slowly "Hello" his voice seemed un-human yet inside one could sense absolute humanity. Leaves blew slightly in the breeze, crunching under foot as he shifted uneasily, not knowing the nature of the human before him. "Something troubles you" he stated once again unsure of how the other would react his eyes scanning the others form. He was probably the farthest thing from a wise person but often times within his simplicity came a complex nature that none could break down. Walking forward antoehr step then stoping his leg muscles growing taught he stoped. Starign to the sky he figured silence woudl be best but he noticed the others blade and spoke for a final time bfore awaiting a response. "A finally tuned weapon, holding power that has yet to be fully unlocked" he chuckled lightly to himself his dull eyes casting off like holes to his head however his long white hair caught the moon light and looked like silver strands of moonlight. He figured thsi boy would not want to talk but he was in a mood to speak to others and so he did. |

Fait continued to swing his sword, losing a bit of himself with each swipe. As each slash went through the air, so did a peice of his mind...his sadness...his anger...his sanity. Midswipe he heard a strange voice behind him. It was gruff...yet soft..in an odd way. He stopped swinging for a moment, breathing a bit heavier than before. "Something troubles you" Faits eyes widened a bit as he turned to see Ray. He had never seen him before...how could he know something was wrong? He sighed quietly through gritted teeth as he swung his sword one last time, turning the blade and plunging it into the earth. He looked down at the blade for a moment before looking back up to the gargoyle...a race he was unfamiliar with. "How....did you know...?" His voice was a bit shaky as he asked, his eyes no longer flashing. He must have shown sadness...and sadness showed weakness. He couldn't be weak..not anymore. He was tired of it...tired of life...dissapointments...past mistakes...He sighed again and looked up to Ray, waiting for an answer. |

Ray looked at him his eyes showign a dull glimmer of understanding. "Human nature, your movements, the way your moving. You act as if a great wiehgt ways upon you" he answered his words trailing out smoothly. He sighed and let hsi wings fold ot his back. "You also seem suprised to see one such as myself, half Gargoyle" he said. He was blunt most of the time but often on the mark. "Forgive me. My name is Rayzor Magne" he introduced himself with a small bow his wings rpeading wide as a sign of at least moderate respect. "I had not intended to startle, or even suprise you. I had figured you had heard my footfalls" He remained partially hidden in the shadows hiw figure enigmatic at best. Slowly he walked further into the moonlight revealing he was mostly human in appearence except for the rather large wings to his back and the fact that his skin was a mix between flesh color and stone grey. To look at it in the moonlight it would appear as a paler skin tone and nothing more but where it to be seen in the sunlight it would see like he was covered in white chalk dust so thick it affected his skin color. "Tell me what troubles you. Maybe there is a way I can ease your mind" |

Fait continued to stare at the gargoyle. It was odd...it was like he could see right through him...into his very soul....and he could tell that he was troubled. He sighed against the night air, his breath being seen as a cold bolt of lightning graced his full eyes, becoming a blinding white for the faintest moment. "Human nature, your movements, the way your moving. You act as if a great wieght ways upon you" Fait raised an eyebrow at Ray...A weight weighing upon him...He shrugged faintly, casting aside memories of what had happened. But the way he was moving...he would have to do that better to if he ever hoped to beat Lucian...or even come to a draw with him. Lucians grace in his fighting style was practically unmatched...he could even dodge the surest of blows and retaliate with incredible force in the blink of an eye. "My name is Rayzor Magne" Fait watched as he bowed and smiled faintly. Never before had he been shown respect like this...except from Phaze...who was just plain odd. He shrugged it off a bit and Extended his gloved hand towards the gargoyle, the matalic tips glimmering in the soft moonlight that escaped the leaves. "Fait....Fait Stryker..." As he spoke again, he shivered slightly. He was swinging his sword and was concentrating fully on that, completely forgetting the fact that he could hear well...and he hadn't even noticed Ray. He shrugged mentally and continued to look at the beast, waiting for him to take his hand. |

Reaching out and giving Faits hand a firm grip he shook the other boys hand. "Pleasure to meet you Fait." he said as he pulled his hands bakc all his motions fluid like and strong. He steped back into the shadows though his body was still partiallly visible his eyes gleaming dully as they reflected moonlight. "It is peaceful here, I can see why you would come to train or get your mind off things" his voice again ringing out into the darkness of the forest. He figured he appeared strange to Fait then again he appeared strange to most in the first place. "How often do you come to this place?" he questioned wondering as this was his favorite part of the school. This is where he often spent his days as the stone figure he became at first light. He figured if he was to know this boy better he could trust him, and even learn more about humans as a whole. IT was true he understood human nature and how the mind worked, well for hte most part but he mostly had book smarts. He had never had the chance nor the time to learn what some would call "street Smarts" which sometimes bothered him. |

Fait let his hand fall back to his side limply as he finished the shake. He didn't notice his hand was still heavily burnt....the magical orb had done a number on him when he fought against himself...or his demon blade...or both...he still wasn't sure. "How often do you come to this place?" Fait raised an eyebrow at Ray's question. Did he really even care...or was he just trying to make small talk? Fait wasn't really in the mood for a shrink visit...or small talk for that matter. To him, fighting was like getting drunk....it was his way of dealing with his problems, since he never touched alchohal. He shrugged a bit before he answered. "I come here...alot actually. At least once a day...If my schedule allows..." He smirked faintly and crossed his burnt gloves in front of his chest, stepping back and leaning up against the flat side of his sword. He didn't truly care what Ray thought of him...he didn't really care what anyone thought. He didn't mind his appearance though....he had seen stranger. |

Ray looekd at him and sighed. "I'm sorry if I bother you" he apologized though he wasn't sure it was needed. Fait had been in a bad mood when he had showed up. "I'll leave you be if you wish it" as he moved back into the shadows. Only his eyes visible now. He wasn't going to leave until he knew whether the other boy woudl want him to or not so he hadn't planned on leaving just yet. His eyes looked aroudn the woods seeign all there was to see and noting that for the moment they where alone. "If you wish we can spar" he said. "But be warned, my skin is hard as stone to any weapon, the last blade to attempt to peirce it broke" he spoke slowly and truly once again walking out of the shadows. Sure he may not be fat, and not exceedingly well versed in combat, but he was strong, and he had a defending ability like almost no other. Not to mention the one power he had never had to use, well not for years. |

Fait raised an eyebrow a bit and stood back up fully. He hadn't expected to spar...he had just wanted to train...alone...or with Lucian. Lucian didn't care for his emotions...Lucian barely knew he existed...but he had saved his life before...so he must have meant something to him. "I'm sorry Raz (Nickname I chose for him..) ...I didn't mean to come of like that...It's just....You sorta caught me at a bad time...." He sighed again and let his eyelids shut out the black of night. He had come here to think...or to stop thinking...or both....he didn't know anymore....he felt dead inside. Even if Mackenzie had kissed him, he could tell she only did it out of sympathy...she didn't truly want to. He brought a hand up and wiped his lips off with the back of his hand, wiping away the memory of the kiss as she did so. |

Ray looked at him "Decide quickly, the rays of the sun make me stone, so Depending on time I may or may not have long" he stated simply and looked to Fait. Sittign there leaning on a tree teh bark somewhat rough against his skin as he watched and waited for Faits answer. "Caught you at a bad time? As I had suspected, but you seem like the kind who fights his worries away, and if talking does no good then fighting would surely help you loose your aggression." a faint smile on his lips. He thought it trhough and figured he could at least make an impression on htis other boy. Though it would be purely for fun a spar could be fun and a good thing. Closing his eyes and seemingly disappearing though he was sittign right where he had been in the shadows out of the moons light. "But before that tell me, how does the sunrise look? I have never seen one...and thus I am curious." This question had nothing but face value, he wanted to know how Fait thought of the sunrise, or maybe its set. He re-opened his eyes and looked out into the clearign where Fait stood still silent and watching, waiting. |

Fait watched as Ray backed into the shadows. It was pointless against him...Fait could see him just fine. He didn't feel like a fight...not now. Even if he was angry, he wasn't going to take it out on him...even if he wanted him to. He sighed quietly and closed his eyes, laughing quietly and shaking his head. "I do not wish to fight with you Raz..." He shook his head and was about to sheath his blade when his words escaped the shadows again. They fell on his ears, practically making him feel pain. Here was a boy that couldn't see the sun...it must be a horrid life...no wonder he was pale. he didn't want Ray to feel bad, so he thought quickly. "It's nothing special really...just a burning ball of light coming over the mountains...its like a flashlight shining in your eyes...you're not missing much.." |

"Your not being honest" he spoke as he moved into the moonlight area. "I heard, read once it was a beautiful thing." his voice trailed off. It was true he had always wanted to see the sun, but he never could. "Perhaps sometimes you can take a phtograph for me" he spoke. "I would be very grateful." It woudl seem that one would be grateful for such a simple request but then again he had no idea of its wonders or its downsides. He only wanted to see it. Hearign a noise his eyes turned to behind him but it was nothing. A small mamal walking through the brush. "Please it would mean alot" he spoke. He figured that most would shrug off such a simple request and even just forget about it, but something he sensed about this boy told him he would not forget him, and might actually accept such a simple thing. |

Fait smiled weakly at the boys request. He had nothing better to do...and he was always up for helping anyone....it was what he did...the mission he had given himself. He had even risked his life for others...just so they wouldn't feel the pain and sting of battle. "Of course....If you want...Meet me tomorow...I'll bring them..." He grinned broadly....he would take them from the sky...probably above the tower. The tower was the highest point...and it had the furthest reach for the suns beams over the city. It would be a great place to take the pictures... |

A smile spread acrossed his face. "Thank you" he said and leaned against a near by tree his wings spread out so as not to get in the way. "Let me know if there is ever something I can do for you" looking aroudn he noticed the ngiht life of the forest. It was not often he spent his time here, well not when he could move. "I know it seems such a simple task, then again you have seen many a sunrise in your life, as well as many a set, but not I" Grinning he closed his eyes and thought about it. He had only seen a few lousy colorless pictures. Shaking it off he looked around then stoped at Fait looking his over ffor the first time. |

"I doubt there is anything you could do for me....But I appreciate the offer..." Fait smiled slightly through the small fit of depression he had fallen into. It would be easy to take the pictures...and if it meant that much to him he would have to make them good...maybe the tower for sunrise and the mountain for sunset. He shrugged again and looked out over the forest....a light sigh escaping his lips. He was lost...he had no idea what he was looking for anymore. The thought of it alone was depressing...not to mention he had just spilled his heart and had it stepped on. |

Ray noded and shruged. "I will meet you bakc here tommorrow, if the picutres are ready, it no then we can meet another time" he smiled faintly and turned away startign to leave. "Whatevers troubling you I hope you work it out" he gave a small smile, not that Fait coudl see it and headed off into the forest. He noded tohimself. Tonight was a good night and not all of it woudl be used in the forest. |
