Alone by the water; November, maybe open later

The rippling waters sparkled from the light the sun lent them, the grass was soft and silky. A breeze buffeted the young boy that was sitting alone fiddling with something in his lap. All that was noticeable was that he held a small box. It's contents were a mystery to any bystander.

Sora waited patiently for November, hoping that she recieved the brief note he left in her locker that read...

November,

Hey hun, meet me at the lake later today alright? I've got something for you.

Sora

The couple hadn't been on a real date since they had eaten lunch together last semester, and Sora thought it was about time to try something new. He hadn't quite figured out what he wanted to do yet, but once she arrived he was sure something would pop into his head.

Novemer skipped along happily, ignoring the puzzled looks that followed, for it was a little odd to see a teenager skipping like a kindergartener. But November was used to attracting a lot of weird looks, and she didn't even think about it, anymore. What she was thinking abouyt was the fact that she hadn't seen Sora in a while, and they hadn't dated since...well, she couldn't remember when. But now he wanted to see her, and that could only mean...what did that mean? She hadn't a clue. But it was Sora, so it was either going to be fun, or important.

She saw him sitting a ways away and she stopped. It wouldn't be fun to just walk up. It wasn't her style, and besides, that was boring. So she quietly snuck up on him. Closer and closer she crept, tip-toing in the most exaggerated style immaginable. In fact, if Sora hadn't had something on his mind, he almost definatly would have seen her. Suddenly, with a giggle, she glomped him from behind. "Guess Who!" she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Sora was taken by surprise by November's glomping, and fell to the ground beneath the force. If not for the kiss on the cheek, his retaliation would have been one of violencet. Rather than attack like he would have done to anyone else, he rolled over and wrapped his arms around her. He rolled the two bodies until they were facing one another, both laying on their sides. "I'm so glad you came." he said with a warm smile on his face.

"I was just thinking, we never spend time together any more, and I miss the times we used have. What would you say if I was to ask you on a nice date? Dinner, some mini golf, but first a nice walk here by the lake so we can talk." he said through the same warm smile. His entire body and mind felt instantly calmed since she was with him, and he loved that feeling.

While November basked in Sora's sunny smile, she struggled to look serious for a few moments. "Why wouldn't I come?" She asked in a tone of deep concern. But her mouth kept twitching up in the corners, and finally, she gave in and grinned. "I'd say that if you wanted to take a walk, you'd have to let me get up first." She replied to his other remark, almost seriously.

When the two had gotten to their feet and began walking, November slipped her hand into his. "It's been a while since it was just the two of us. I don't know what to say." She said softly, all humor gone for a moment. "So!" She suddenly exclaimed, as humor realized it had been left behind and bounded to catch up, "You'll just have to start the conversation! Otherwise, this date's going to go nowhere." she teased.

Sora couldn't find the words to speak at first. His joy took over his muscles and made them tense as November slid her hand into his. So many thoughts rushed to his head, he didn't know where to begin the conversation. Then he quickly decided on "So sweetheart, how are your classes coming along?" he asked, ignoring the cliche.

"They're...they're going along alright." November said, a little nervously. It was a subject she'd avoided thinking about, since not being able to read the written language of this world made studying...a little difficult, to say the least. "You could say they're not my best subject, though. I have a little trouble. What about yours? I bet you're doing well." She said with a half smile, leaning her head against his shoulder.

Sora smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder, unhinged his hand from hers and wrapped his arm around her waist. "I'm doin real good in english and history, but math is another story. Somehow Haru manages to understand all that, and he can't even tell the differance between his pants and his shirt when he's getting dressed in the morning. It makes me so confused, but we help each other with our homework all the time." he said using his arm to snuggle her in tighter to him.

Sora extended his neck slightly so it would bend enough to give November a soft kiss on the top of her head as they walked along by the lake. "This is nice, just you and me here alone like this. No assassins to fight off, no pillow fights, just us here, able to talk about anything." Sora said with his typical smile-grin on his face.
