OOC: Open only to the six players that I yanked into this in the thread at The Party Line. You know who you are, and you know that your fate is now in my hands. The abduction of your chars is necessary, so it ain't god-modding. Of course, I have invented plausible ways for your characters to be taken... IC>>>>> They worked in the dead of night. They worked behind closed doors. Wherever you go, there they are, although you can't know it until its too late. Years and years ago, they were formed during the great split of the organization known as Conclave, although nobody knows anything about it. Since then, they have seen the changes in humanity and kept close their greatest secrets in order to supplant and control the world. They are the many. They are the almighty. They are...the Enclave. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (It was the right time to strike. Everything was perfect. It was a new moon out tonight and the clouds obscured the stars. More than that, it was windy this night, perhaps the onset of a storm. Sources indicated that it was a natural storm, since the report was that the so-called Storm-King - as coded by the upper-ranks - was not around here. Supposedly, he was in America. Thus, the swarm of silent black flight-crafts, known as Enclave Vertibirds, were able to get around undetected... They were on a mission of capture, to be done as quickly as possible in a low-risk factor. The experiments with dampening field technology complete, they were now ready to abduct their test subjects. Sera Shinigami was the first to be seen, standing atop the mountain as she honed her bladesmanship. She was not taken unaware, but she WAS surrounded by these mysterious black vehicles and shot with a hail of tranquilizers. Adrienne Duphain was found around the same time as Grangbok Blightertooth, in the forest. Grangbok was chased down by men in powersuits, netted, and tranquilized. Adrienne was the first to feel the dampeners, keeping her from being a great threat before finally knocked out as well. All she saw was men in powersuits. Mark, Lance, and Mitski were all seen at some point going from one building to the next, or getting back to their dorms. And at these times, soldiers awaited them at their destination and got to them before they knew what happened. Some students may have noticed some strange figures going around, but most were none the wiser. The six of them were taken...) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (Six rooms, all in a row. All who occupied the rooms were slowly coming to. They would see that each of them was in a gray cell with transparent shatter-proof glass doors keeping them in here. They were cages... Their cages were well-lit. The room that they were attached to was dark, with a few examination tools and such in there that were vaguely visible. They would all find that their equipment was gone, and that their powers weren't working right for some reason. Their cells were not sound-proof, though. There was nobody in the room right now, nobody except...someone strapped to a wheeled examination table. One cell here was empty at the moment. It was Grangbok's cell. None of them had been awake this whole time, including the goblin. The only thing HE could remember was a bunch of guys netting him and then being on this table. Strange flashes of possible injections of some kind of chemical would also enter his mind, though it appeared as if nothing had happened yet... Where were they? What were they doing here? Why wasn't anybody here now? What was going on? All those questions would be on their minds...but they would only be answered upon getting out of here...wherever here was...) |

Dreams. Sweet uninterrupted bliss. Dreams were always so confusing in their origins. What were dreams really? Tales of old flashing about in ones mind at random? Were they the mind entertaining itself whilst it’s keeper slept in a state of euphoric oblivion? Were the maybe messages of the future from heaven? Sometimes one can only wonder at the state of dreams and what they truthfully meant. To Mark however, the only thing he dreamt was of himself being abducted. Why would anyone want to abduct the young Christian boy? Had he upset someone, but it did not matter, as it was only a dream or maybe a terrible nightmare. He was surrounded and quickly drugged whilst he tried to mediate the group. Taken so easily was probably a joy for the abductors, but at least it was only a dream. However the dream did not continue only a sheer pit of black remained. He saw nothing and wondered what became of his dream self. It was dark, but the darkness soon began to deteriorate and light began to replace the darkness. That was how the dream ended. It was not one of his better ones and he prayed he would not remember it as he lay in bed trying to fall back asleep to wipe the dream from his mind, but something was keeping him from sleeping; something glaring through his eyes and something gnawing in the back of his mind. He decided maybe it was best to wake up if not only for a moment to see what time it was. Light trickled into his retinas as he slowly opened his eyes. It was bright and it crushed his willingness to get up, but his head was swimming with something. His head pounded as he adjusted his arm to try and block out the light to see where this light was coming from. He did not remember leaving the light on the night before, but he was rather tired and tried to roll over, but instead shot straight up. He never even remembered going to bed the night before. He shielded his eyes, but he felt so woozy after jumping up so quickly. His head was now completely sloshed. It tried to make coherent thoughts to why he was here or how he had gotten here. He rubbed his eyes a bit to try and get them to focus properly and when they did he was both overjoyed and terrified at what he saw, but it took a moment to register both feelings as the drugs slowly began to clear from his mind. “Where the hell am I,” Mark murmured a little to loudly for his own good and immediately regretted saying something he would have said on the streets in one of his less bawdy moods. He had no idea where he was except that he was in what seemed like some kind of cage. Was he now a guinea pig for some kind of cruel experiment? What was going on here and why had he been chosen of all people? What was the purpose of him being here? He was not that special in any manner of the word, so why him. Was it because he was a meta-human was that it? He tried to look about, but it was to dark to see outside his little cell that he was trapped in. Well, if he were to die here then he would go without worry. He had regrets, but there was not much more he could do but pray that the Lord help those that he could not. He sat down and rifled through his pocket to find his harmonica, but even that was mysteriously gone. Why would anyone want that? They could not even give him the smallest bit of solace? Well, it was probably in their best interest to remove it or he may have tried to turn their black hearts against them. It looked like the only thing he could do was stare at the glaring lights and see what would happen. |

“Where the hell am I,” "The same place I am." She said, her dark, cold, malace-filled voice echoed through her cell. Sera had only been awake for a few moments, she was sitting on her bed, back resting against the wall with her eyes closed. She didn't know where the voice originated from, but judging by the nature of it, she assumed it was another prisoner. This was just perfect, she was minding her own business, practicing with a katana she had just then picked up, when she was completely taken by surprise, and before she could even cast a spell, pumped full of seditives and taken here. Worse yet was her Materia, bracer and sword were all missing, probably the result of whoever had so kindly set this thing up. She opened an eye to look out of her glass door, but to her, nothing at all could be seen but darkness. She was getting angrier by the second, but as it stood, nothing could be done. It would be best to bottle these feelings up and use them for later, when she escaped, something she hoped one of the captees could help her with. Her body was a bit sore and tired from the tranqu's still coarsing through her. An effect that would wear off in due time. "You, boy. Who am I trapped here with?" She asked of him, under the assumption he was the only other prisoner. |

A cage, confined to a personal hell that he had lived through before. Only this time he was not the slayer. He was now in his new human form. He moaned slightly as he began to stagger onto his feet. His spear and amulet were gone, but that wasn't a problem for him. He still had his slayer powers. He put his hand onto his cell and attempted to make his transformation complete. However, when he noticed that there was no hair around his feet, he knew the worst had happened. He lost the power to change. Not to mention he didn't even know why he was captured. He heard the voice of a girl and began to hold his head. "Not so loud, my head is pounding," he said in a low voice. He then shook his head and lowered it. It would seem he was in the same boat with more than one person. |

a light famine moan could be heard as Mitski came too. Compared to the darkness of her unconscious state, and the darkness that filled the outer room, her cell was bright. She immediately positioned her arm over her eyes to shield them from the light. Slowly, she pushed her boy up in to a sitting position. Once her eyes adjusted to the light, her gaze wandered about the enclosure. She couldn’t remember much of anything. She had been on her way back to her dorm, and then all went blank. Where the hell was she? She thought to herself. By the sounds of it, she wasn’t the only captive here. From the moment she woke up, she over heard 3 different voices; so there were at least three other people here with her. Mitski stood up and walked over to the transparent glass. She was about to press her hands up against it, but then decided against it. Instead she stood directly in front of the glass of the door in to the dark room ahead. Her eyes squinted as she tried to catch glimpses of anything that would give her a clue. All she managed to catch sight of were what looked to be medical tools. Seeing them caused a tight know to form in the bottom of her stomach. This was like one of those really bad horror movies. What surprised her was that she her powers seemed to be dysfunctional. With all the will she had in her, she tried to call on them, but nothing happened. It was like hr body had short circuited. “shit.” She said in a low audible mumble. |

Adrienne's tail was curled around her body as she scratched her head and came to. The silver ears and tail shinning as she yawned and sat on her knees. Her eyes were only half open while she searched out the area; what had happened to her. She had been trying to explain something to Grangbok, but then felt weak and then went completely out. Touching her wrists and neck she still had her talismans, but they seemed to be shut off by something. Holding out her hand there was nothing, not even a small spark; she was stuck in a power dampneer. There were voices though, so she knew that at least she wasn't the only one captured. A voice rang loud and clear in her sensitive ears, Mitski was also captured and Adrienne knew it as she rushed forward and crashed into the glass before coming back to the ground "Hello? Anyone there! Mitski is that you!!!? Are you alright?" Her voice rang through the halls as she kicked the glass again and sighed. If she could use her talismans then this would be no problem, but they were off. Something clicked in her mind as she continued to listen to all of them. "Has anyone seen Grangbok? He was near me when I was captured, but I don't see or hear him...and you know how loud that goblin is." |

Vague memories floated through his brain as he lay on the table; strange men with nets, he was sure they were after the food he had been collecting. Then he was caught and poked at with long, pointy metal sticks that appeared to have funny looking water in it. Next he went unconscious after biting someone with ugly glasses and a lab coat, and now he was... very very hungry. His rumbling stomach woke him up, greeting him with a face full of bright light and made him scream all manner of curse words that would have made a lesser goblin turn purple. He could also hear people talking, but only one of them was familiar. He decided it would a good idea to play a little and grinned, his fangs shining in the light. "Oh No! Pain! Me be dying! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Fox lady save Grangbok! MEH SURRENDEH! MEH SURRENDEH!" As he waited for everyone's reaction, he turned his head tried to lick the table. Thoughts of whether he could reach it or not began to flow through his brain, motivating him enough the chomp off a small chunk. As he sat back and enjoyed his morsel, he fiddled around and attempted to work his way out of the restraints. A quick jolt sideways knocked his table over and left him suspended at an odd angle, ajacent to the wall but not quite on the floor. |

(Five people in cells and one on a steel gurney. This was turning out to be a really lousy day. They didn't know where they were, they didn't know where their stuff was, they didn't have any power. This place sucked. Grangbok's shouting echoed throughout the room, his movements registering on a motion detector on the wall. Two things happened when the goblin tilted his table over while chewing on a piece of it... First, recalled yelling before, but he could not quite recall the instance. It seemed like he was angry or in pain or both. A desire to break someone's teeth flitted through his mind. The second thing was a reaction from the room itself. His movement had triggered the detection device, which activated the lights...sort of. Most of them appeared to short out in a brilliant display of pyrotechnics, leaving only a single one to light up the room. They could now make out the equipment in the room. It was all wrecked beyond repair. There were a couple notes on the floor, one near Grangbok as his straps finally failed him and released. It said...) Note to self: Bring antiseptic when treating the goblin. (It was written in a hurried hand with a couple drops of blood spattered on it. The other note looked a little more formal and in the same handwriting, which stated...) Lab Report, Subject Goblin. Despite the netting and the transquilizers, subject was still somewhat active upon his initial test. We had to put the other five in their cells to focus on him. Fortunately, the guards were able to keep him mostly in control, although he bit my arm. It would've gone through if I hadn't socked him one with the other arm. He responded to one treatment very bizarrely. I'm having the spontaneously-grown limb analyzed in another section. Chemical #2902 is having its usual effect, but unevenly in this subject. No extra limbs, this time, but the drug is behaving oddly. Dr. Mason Jerricks (Meanwhile, all of the people in their cells REALLY wanted out and looked like there was a computer terminal in this room to take care of that. The only problem was that Grangbok was not very technically inclined...) |

Mark sighed as he heard the voices of the other captives. It was terrible to know to find that others had befallen the same misfortune as he. It did not seem to good for all of them. It seemed like there was one other guy, three girls, and a goblin? It was unbeknownst to him which of the girl’s voices was of this Mitski was, but Mark recognized the voice of the young kit girl Adrienne. It had been a long time since that time in the kitsune dimension where she sought out a little bit of redemption. Hopefully she had found it soon after that point, but in Mark’s mind she had not yet found it. She had only managed to find a way to control the rage and hate she felt. There was a way and Mark prayed that she found it. “Well, I cannot speak for everyone, but it seems that we are all from AHS. My name is Mark and under any other circumstances it would be a pleasure to meet you. Sadly, it seems we are quite at the will of our captors,” Mark said standing up and tapping on the glass seeing if it could be broken. It did not feel anything like normal glass. It felt thicker and denser and probably was reinforced to prevent escape, but clear to allow them to see what tortures would happen in the main room. That in it self was a torture -- To hear the screams and whimpers of the victim and knowing that you could be next to face the same experimentations or those that were even more foul. Mark said a quick prayer for the rest he was trapped with. Hopefully God would aid them all in escaping this place or if not at least accept some solace in finding the Lord before they went on to meet their creator. A loud screeching voice ripped throughout the center of the room that was darkened before him. It ripped at his ears and was the least musical thing he had ever heard. Certainly everything was not musical in nature, but this screech ripped at his ears and tore at his mind. This must have been the goblin that Adrienne had mentioned. Grangbok? Well, it seemed if they had a little hope if the goblin was unrestrained or could get out of them if he was. A loud snap echoed from out of the darkness soon followed by a loud clatter as the goblin tipped over his restraining table. It had been a loud clatter to emerge from the darkness. “Grangbok are you okay out there? Is everyone else well? I would hate to have it if they actually performed any experiments on anyone,” Mark raised his voice so everyone could hear him. He hoped the little goblin was still conscious after his little fall as staying in this place was not something Mark really wanted; especially when the lives of 5 others were at stake. |

Mitski sat down on the floor in front of he reinforced glass. There was no breaking through it, and she had no powers, so all she could do , for now, was sit and wait. She crossed her legs Indian style and propped her elbows on her knees as she leaned forward and tried to look in to the darkness that lay ahead. It was then that she heard a familiar voice. "Hello? Anyone there! Mitski is that you!!!? Are you alright?" “Well, I cannot speak for everyone, but it seems that we are all from AHS. My name is Mark and under any other circumstances it would be a pleasure to meet you. Sadly, it seems we are quite at the will of our captors,” Mitski instinctively glanced in the direction that she heard the voice. She knew she wouldn’t be able to see Adrienne, but it was habit to turn toward the source of the voice. “Yeah, it is me Adrienne. Yes mark, I think you are correct in saying we are all from AHS. I’m Mitski.” There came another voice, an unfamiliar one. Mitski looked forward in to the dark room and saw slight movement coming from a table. Was someone strapped to an operation table. She squinted her eyes as she tried to get a better a look at who was strapped down. Part of her was thankful it was no her on that table, and that thought of selfishness brought a slight twinge of guilt to her stomach. The voice of the goblin was soon followed by him toppling over . Whatever he had done, had triggered the lights to cut out, but at the same time there was no an illumination of light coming from the mysterious room. Surprised wasn’t the word for how Mitski felt. Here she thought they were going to meet some fate worst then death, but it would seem that Fate had already come to pass, and left the 6 prisoners alive. Everything was a wreck, It looked like there had been some major fight out there. Grangbok was lucky that he was still alive. Especially if he had been out there in the middle of whatever happened. “What the hell happened here. Hey you, Grangbok ,, Are you okay?” |

"Lance." He continued to moan softly as he began to slowly come to from the drugs. He wasn't completely up to 100%, but at least he could be able to think coherently. He wasn't able to say a lot of words too. At least until he heard a loud screeching sound. He covered his ears and began to curse quietly as he heard that. But something good came out of it. He woke his brain up as he watched the goblin on the table struggle. A hard look appeared on his face as he began to punch the walls of the cell. He wanted to get out, he wanted to escape from this place. He had been made a lab too many times, and once was bad enough. After punching the wall for five minutes, he put his hands to the wall and breathed heavily. He wasn't going to get out anytime soon until he regained some of his old power. |

"Just slamming around doesn't help our situation." Sera said, finally getting off the bed and wandering around her cell. It seemed a normal containment cell, all teh bare neccesities for living and none of the luxuries. Thta was fine with her, she didn't plan to stay very long. They had to come feed the prisoners some time, and when they did she figured she'd have a plan. She walked slowly to the door, putting her hand on it and looking out. It was aparant she was in the corner cell, she hand o crank her body to see the roudy goblin. She knocked at the glass, it wouldn't be something she'd be able to break through herself, and she didn't have her Materia, not that in this situation it would help her. She looked out at the goblin, acting like a fool. He'd be no help, she thought, he didn't look much stronger than her, and even if she did... In mid thought her eyes wandered a little, resting upon what looked to be an important control panel behing Grangbok. Surely that would be the controls for their cells, it had to be. She sighed, it seemed the only way to escape was to coax the creature to push the correct buttons, but what one? She didn't even know herself. "Grangbok, they said your name was. That control pannel behind you must be the controls to the doors of our cells, stop fooling around and figure out how to open them." She ordered, hoping he would take her seriously. |

OOC: Today's featurette... Tenkari gets written in as #7 player. IC>>>>> (Now that they were all coming to terms with the fact that they had been captured, all attention appeared to be focused upon the need to remove themselves from these cells. Unfortunately, no amount of force from any of them appeared to be enough to accomplish this. The cell doors were far too tough while they were without power. Thus, attention soon went to the goblin who was freeing himself from the table. One had to wonder, as they coaxed Grangbok to get them out of their cells. Would he figure out the controls? Fat chance, but at least he could blunder through it and hope that one of the big shiny buttons on the control panel was the right one Funny how nobody was remarking about the damage to the room itself. It seemed pretty extensive...) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 12 hours ago... "Base, the is Vertibird-7. We are en route with another potential test subject. Subject is a young male, definitely meta. Power dampeners and tranquilizers remain stable, over." (Take to mind now, a pair of men flying a multi-rotor helicopter device called a Vertibird. The men are in powersuits, of course, as they are of the same organization responsible for these abductions. They are now on their way to the base in which everyone is being held. The problem is that there is no response to the transmition they just made.) "Base, come in, over." "That's not like them... Think there's a problem?" "Could be. Something might've gotten loose and their busy taking it down." (The Vertibird silently made its way to the base under the cover of darkness. The only thing visible about it to the naked eye right now was the landing pad. There appeared to be another power-armored soldier waiting for them as they landed. One of the pilots on board went back into the cargo and got the young lad they'd taken in, a Zelus...Something-Or-Other. He didn't care, really. Once they came in here, names were nothing to them. The two pilots came out to talk to the soldiers waiting for them.) "Why didn't anyone respond to our message?" "I'm sorry, but our long-range communications are all out at the moment. There was an accident in the horticulture lab and it got into the service ducts." "Meaning...?" "Creeper vines tearing into some of the power conduits. I've got everybody spraying for that. Once we've cleared enough, we can re-establish outside radio contact." "Ah, shit... What're we suppose to do with this kid, huh?" "Put him in the storage room and keep the mini-dampener with him when you leave. Since he's cuffed and out of luck, he won't got anywhere." (The boy was taken to a small room near the landing pad, used for storing auxiliery engine blocks. He was cuffed to a pipe and the dampener was switched to "HIGH", which would do more than cut off his powers, but weaken him. So, even if he were to awaken, he would be feeling less than capable once he did.) "Alright, now let's get to work. I've just gotten off the horn with Squad B. He says that the main generator is secure, so there's only a few isolated spots to take care of now." (They entered the complex itself and walked towards the cargo elevator. However, as the doors for the life-device opened, one of them heard a noise, or thought he did. Guns were raised as suspicions were put to the test. The lights were still kind of twitchy here, so it was easy to miss-) Grrrrrrrr... (An oddly trilling, if utterly bone-tingling growl from the shadows...) "Oh shit..." "What? What was that?" "Go to infrared! Now!" (They did, and just in time to see it crouch for the attack...) "She's loose! She's loose! KILL HER NOW!!!" GRRRRAAAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!! (In the darkness, there were shots fired at an incredibly swift form, the battlecry of some sort of predator, and a metal-rending sound that could only be made from claws... Minutes later, there was a trio of powersuits forced open and the contents of such mostly devoured. The elevator door shut on a sleeping form in the elevator, a form that was decidedly large and content from its meal...) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Now. CRUNCH!!! (He would wake up to the sound of something large getting crushed under pressure. By what, he would not know. Instincts and auditory senses would give him the impression that something had made this noise and then moved on. What was crushed, he would not know. What did it, he would not know. All that he WOULD know was that he was handcuffed to a pipe in a dark room with none of his equipment and he was without powers. In fact, he was decidedly drained, thanks to the device on an engine block out of reach that stated...) Dampener Battery Failure In 5:30 Minutes (So, he was being kept weak by this thing, which would last another five minutes, and then he could slowly recover, maybe. Where was he? Zelus had had vague memories of his capture. His saber - which was missing - had mysteriously gone out, and his senses were strangely diminished. How ironic that that would tip him off to an enemy regardless of stealth. Unfortunately, he was unable to do anything much against the armored foes and their tranquilizer guns. Zelus would have to rely more on his cunning in this...) OOC: There you go, Tenkari. You get to strike out on your own for a while. |

Grangbok looked in a few of the windows, taking in his environment and offering the cells as many confused looks as he could manage until he got bored. His straps released soon enought and allowed him a chance to wander about the lab, fairly content with the stuff in it, but slight pain in his jaw brought his attention back to the problem at hand, as well as criticism from other people in cages near him. Crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out at the woman who told him to stop fooling around, he stuck his nose in the air. He paraded about the room in his ridiculus posture for a minute, but halted soon after, something smelled familiar. Getting down on his hands and knees, he crawled about until he found the source, a trail of slime from one of the slugs he had captured earlier. As he followed it, he licked the floor, enjoying the taste as much as he could until his forehead collided with the computer panel. Annoyed and visibly upset about his grumbling stomach, he climbed up and started jumping on buttons, unknowingly opening and closing doors at random until he hit a slime track and slipped, rendering him airborne for a second as he made friends with the floor in a hard way. As it happened, luck was with them. Most of the doors were open, with the exception of one. Grangboks repetitive motion had fried the circuit and jammed Mitski's half way. The goblin just laid on the hard ground, his tongue flopped out of the side of his mouth and his eyes in the back of his head as the world spun about in visious circles. |

Zelus felt weird without his access to the Force, seeing as it was a part of him for most of his life, he felt naked without being able to use it's power. He noticed his lightsaber missing, which wasn't good, he hopped he could find it again, otherwise he would have to make another one, and that wouldnt be a good prospect. "Lets see, battery that'll die in...." Zelus read the indicator display that said 4 minutes this time. "Four minutes huh? I hope this damn thing dosen't blow up when it dies..... that would be bad." He grabbed the chain on the handcuffs and tried pulling on them, hoping to cause either the pipe he's hooked to to give away, or maybe even something on the pipe that would cause the chains to break. If only he had his lightsaber it would be easy to get out of here, but then, Easy was never for a Jedi. He examined the pipe again, in hopes of finding something that would help him get out of there. |

"Well then, that's definitely a way to do it..." Sera said as she nonchalantly strolled out of her cell. She was able to get her first good look at the lab, it really looked like any other laboratory place she'd ever seen on TV or whatnot. She took a few steps out, examining everything. It looked as though her katana and her Materia were in some other room, probably along with the weapons of the other captors. Speaking of that, she thought, she looked behind her, the other doors were open, save for one. She took a few steps toward Mitski's door, the only way she could tell the door was half open was the glare of the glass. She eyed the girl, she could probably squeeze through the opening if she really tried, but it could be painful, and worse yet it could end with bad results. She put a hand on it and pushed, and just as she thought it didn't budge at all. "Stupid piece of CRAP!" When she yelled, she hit the edge of the door with a chop. It managed to move about an inch, but that was about it. She cradled her hand, the impact was much stronger than she was expecting, it kinda hurt. She took a few steps backward, conceding. Hopefully someone else who was uninjured could pry the door the rest of the way. |

"Not the most conventional, but it will work none the less." Lance walked out of the cell and began to stretch happily. It was good thing he was out. A couple more minutes and he would have gone nuts. He turned to look at the silver haird girl hit the door with a karate chop and rubbed her hand. "Like you said before, beating these doors won't do us any good." He looked around the area that they were now at and started to scavenge for something to help Mitski. His emerald green eyes began to scan the area until he saw the metal table. "Perfect!" He ran to it and tried to pick it up. It would seem that he was still too weak to even do that. "I need to make a metal shaft to pry open the cell a little bit more." He turned his gaze at the fallen goblin. He walked over to him and propped him up so that his back was now against the wall. "Grangbok, we need your help." After waiting a few minutes, he began to slap him lightly several times. "Come on man, we need you awake to use those chompers of yours." |

Grangbok came to with a screech, biting in circles and hoping to scare off the attacker. Once they were far enough away, he could make a run for it, possibly saving his bag from the evil men that brought him here. After a minute of gnashing his chompers he opened his eyes, only to be greeted with unfriendly stares and an aching jaw from his rather rough wake up call. He glared at the man, who had to repeat his request twice because of the ringing in the goblin's ears and a steady mockery of Lance's words, and did his thing. The short metal rod was his to deal with, and quite frankly, it was his for all Grangbok cared. Annoyed and in minor pain, he wandered about the area, eating things that were never meant to be digested and complaining about a concussion he clearly didn't have as the man went to work on the door. |

Well this was certainly at least a slight turn for the better. The doors that had trapped them all in were now open and they would be able to maybe get out of here with a little divine intervention. Hopefully they could get out of here undetected, but that was probably hoping for a little too much. He prayed for it though, that they would be able to get out of here unscathed and not needing to harm anyone in the process. Sadly his comrades did not seem all to eager to not harm anyone. The girl that had first talked to him was already fast at work trying to force her way through one of the glass doors that had not been completely opened. It seemed that that was not going to work so well. Maybe if Mark had his harmonica or some other instrument they could use it as a lever to force the door open. That probably would not work with the sturdiness of the glass doors. They had been meant to keep meta-humans locked up and they had done a fantastic job in preventing meta-humans from getting them open, but sadly they could not stop one hungry little goblin. The little fellow was now bounding around the room devouring anything that caught his fancy, which seemed to be nearly anything that did not fight back when he shoved it into the unfathomably deep pit that he called a mouth. Mark was slowly getting a little worried about the creature. He seemed rather harmless, but rather dangerous at the same time. Hopefully the little creature would stay on their side and not try to eat one of them. The door was certainly jammed and force did not seem to be a good way to open the door. Mark walked over to the control panel that the little goblin had been messing with. Flipping switches and pushing on buttons seemed to have no affect. The goblin was a tornado and only destruction followed. He seemed to be able to disable any mechanical device he touched. The buttons did not seem to want to respond to Mark’s repeated tapping. Not a buzz, nor a whistle, or even the slightest hum from the machine. “Well it seems we are in somewhat of predicament. Anyone have any ideas how to get her out of there? Our goblin friend did a good job getting us out, but the door seems to be jammed good,” Mark said extremely seriously. He did not want anyone to get hurt while they were trapped in this place. They would need to work together to get out of this place. Hopefully everyone already understood that fact. |

Lance's ears were still ringing when Mark was talking. "Well, that's why we need him actually," he shouted him. He walked over to the small goblin and put his hand on his shoulder. His hearing didn't come back yet, so he was yelling pretty loud. He looked on the ground and noticed a metal shaft that was now on the ground. He picked it up, shuddering at the feel of the saliva that had still remained on it, and placed it into the gap between the unopened door. "Okay, hear me out, I need everyone to aid me to pull this thing opened," he said while yelling. |

OOC: Hell if I can still be in then cool and here is my post; pwease let me in again xD Adrienne cracked her back as she slowly walked out of her cell and stared at Andrew. She wanted to help him, but she wasn't that strong and something in her mind began to wonder of what she could do. There was a crack as she popped her neck and walked up to him; her talismans began to glow brightly upon her wrists and neck. Moving next to him she provided all the help she could, but still in her mind she thought of what was going on. "So how are all of you?" |

OOC: We never kicked you out. You're only out if you get into a situation like Tenkari. IC>>> (So, they were all out of their cells, save for Mitski because of the jamming of her door. Yes, the strange actions of Grangbok, who didn't know what he was doing the entire time, seemed to have mostly done the trick. However, there was still the matter of their powers. Namely, they still didn't work. Some would be reminded of the mission for Ken Miyamoto for that disk, what with the power-blockers in that place. Were they taken be another group that used those or what? This place looked high-tech. One had to wonder what went on here. The six who were out would begin to notice those notes lying around, assuming Grangbok didn't eat them, and get some kind of realization of things. Meanwhile, there was a was a noise from outside the door. There was raspy breathing, a scraping sound, and a crunching-munching sound. So...what was it?) |

Mitski cursed lightly under her breath. It would be her damned luck to be the only one stuck with in her cell. She watched un-amused as her, now free, cellmates were walking about he destroyed lab. Annoyed wasn’t even the proper word to describe how she felt at the moment’ Being so, she kept her mouth shut. There was no need to take her anger out on others. As Sear began to perform her chop at the door, Mitski tried to tell her to .. But it was too late. Hell, if simply hitting the door would have gotten her out… she would have hit it down a long time. Her gaze left Sera and wondered over to the goblin. The detached gaze quickly turned in to cold glare. “Thanks a lot goblin” She snickered as she crossed her hands in front of her chest and went back to concentrating on the jammed cell door. Well there was one thing. At least the group wasn’t planning on just leaving her there. In general, they seemed pretty concerned about getting her out. It was obvious that physical effort wasn’t going to work, and sink gangbrok short circuited the controls, she was beginning to give up hope. With a slight desperation she looked at the slight opening left by the jammed door. She could fit through there if she really wanted to. However, every time she thought about it, it played out as some really gruesome horror scene. Mitski shuddered at the though of the thing suddenly closing down on her. Her thoughts were disturbed as she watched lance. He seemed to be the most active in trying to get her out. She walked over to stand in front of where he was standing on the other side of the door. She would wait for him to look back in her direction. When he did, she would silently mouth the words thank you. A sound coming in the direction of the lab door caught her attention. Her green eyes looked over towards the sounds that were causing a slight shiver to crawl up her back. “What the fuck is that.” |

"Mitski? Are you alright you seem...angry." Adrienne stared at Mitski before turning her head and put all of her strength into helping Andrew. She didn't have any of her strength and her talismans weren't doing anything at all besides show off flashy style. She wanted to help her lover out, but she was the smallest and thus one of the weakest in strength terms. The small kit's voice seemed to be full of caring as she stared at Mitski further trying to see how she was. Her tail stood still as she smiled and wanted hug her partner tight. There was a noise it seemed and Adrienne had tuned it out, but she noticed the concern in her eyes. "Who knows what is here. It is probaly some other poor soul that they have screwed with..speaking of poor souls." There was a small laugh at the end of her words as she turned to Grangbok and laughed again. "So what happened to you? Did you eat the guards?" |

Lance turned his gaze to Mitski for a moment when she mouthed the words "Thank you" to him. He nodded his head gently as he looked around at the notes that had remained. He was hunched over them, scanning each paper with an odd interest. "Not exactly the Gilgamesh project, but none the less this can't be good," he said with a low voice. Whatever was happening isn't good. At first his gaze went to the small goblin, but then he heard the sounds coming from outside. He tried to use the power of the Seaslayer, but the weapon of Lore is not coming out. His eyes darted around the area while he began to speak to each person. "Guys! I think we have a pretty big problem! Do you guys hear that sound?" |

"Guys! I think we have a pretty big problem! Do you guys hear that sound?" "Yes... I hear it..." She said slowly, glad now that the door was open. Sure, Mitski probably would have been the safest inside there, though without powers they'd need all the help they could get. And besides, it would have been maddening to stay in there, Sera knew she wouldn'tve been able to do it well. Those thoughts aside, that noise unnerved here, there was a feeling of danger with each sound, she wasn't the one to become frightful, but with each passing second she grew more and more cautious. She slowly walked to the Mitski's now open door and picked up the metal rod, making sure not to touch the drool end. She took a few steps toward the noisy door, reading her makeshift weapon. "I don't like what's behind there." Was all she said, she narrowed her iridescent eyes in anticipation of the worst. |

Grangbok thought about thinking about Adrienne's question, and then he thought about it some more. After several attempts and the eating of several stacks of documents labeled "Important", he gave it another thought. Settling on an answer, he raised his index finger and smiled. "Me eat peice of man in ugly white, coat, that count?" A few bloodied peices of paper on the ground would attest to that fact, including one regarding medicine and treating bite wounds with sterilizer, something he had already eaten a fair portion of. Burping loudly, he laughed and swiped at the bubbles that came out of his mouth. It was short lived, however, as strange noises outside were quick to end his good cheer. Curiousity won over his fearful nature, repressing it long enough for him to peek out the door with the utmost in caution. A second later, he screamed loud enough to wake the dead and fled behind lance. Another few seconds of confusion gave him the opportunity to clamber up his legs and into his shirt, clinging to Lance for his life and making him very uncomfortable. |

Day 37 It seems that the current batch of specimens have worn out their welcome so we have decided to run last batch of tests on them before they are scheduled for …. Mark tried to make out the text, but as was the custom of scientists and doctors alike the writing looked like chicken scratch. He mulled over it as they tried to free Mitski from her half glass prison. It was certainly not that Mark would not like to help her get free, but it was mostly due to the fact that he probably would have been little help at all. Probably more of a hindrance than anything at all as he was certainly not built for that and with most of them working on it maybe he could at least see what was going on. He could barely do that with as terribly written as some of these papers were. It did seem that all professional scientists and doctors were required to write nearly indecipherably to prevent leaking secrets. He skimmed the document looking closely at the squiggles and other markings. specimens proved to be very high in energy which caused them to… To what? Well, it seemed that Mark was not going to get any answers from these papers that were scattered about except for the fact that it was certainly meta-human experimentation. Seemed they were also trying their luck with far dangerous creatures as well. Mark allowed the paper to rest once more upon the ground giving up on trying to decipher it any further. Maybe it was best not to know what these people had done to other living-breathing humans. Meta or otherwise they were still people too. Mark sighed, but it seemed they had finally made a bit of a push forward as they finally freed Mitski. Sadly, it was not on the best of terms either. Noises that one would expect to hear in a Hollywood flick filled the room. Scratching and the raspy breathing like someone that was rather ill, but there were more noises that did not bode well in his mind or in his stomach. It seemed none of the other prisoners were taking it very well either. Colorful language flooded out of Mitski’s mouth, but it seemed that Adrienne was having a grand old time with her goblin friend. They were an interesting couple, but there was little time to worry about them when they had something approaching from outside. Guards would have been terrible things to run into upon just escaping, but unless this guard was incredibly drunk and eating something very loudly than a guard it probably was not. “Okay, let us calm done for a moment and look at this rationally,” Mark said to try and keep everyone from losing their cool, but was slowly losing his own. There was no doubt in his mind that that something was going to be a hideous monster where someone had tried to play God. Such a cruel fate happened to those that tried. “This is an experimental facility where they test on meta-humans. My guess is this is probably not something we are going to like in the least. Lord, give us strength” He grappled for the cross that he always wore around his neck and was happy to find that it was still there to at least grant him a little comfort. They had probably found it funny that a meta-human believed in the Heavenly Father. Mark did not find it funny in the slightest and never had. The Lord had only helped him overcome his own faults and misguiding. He had believed in him self to much. It was not bad to do so, but one could always use a little help. Sadly the little goblin did little to appease his fears that something ungodly lay in wait for them. |

OOC: I just had the most wicked inspiration... IC>>> (Okay... The pros were like this... They were all alive and they were all free from their cells. They had no one shooting at them and no alarms going off, alerting personnel about escaped prisoners. The cons, however, were like this... They were in a facility located...somewhere, one that was trying to perform experiments on them. They were mostly unarmed - possessing a steel rod - and had no powers at this time. Also, there was an unknown sound that was not likely to have anything with being human in origin. All this and Grangbok looked constipated was on their list of bad things to muddle over...which wasn't good. And while all this was taken into account, a squechy-sounding screech was heard and then the chewing stopped.) BREEEAAARRRGGGHHH!!! (Definitely not human, and it heard them talking... A bit more chewing...and then BAM!! It rammed the door. Once, twice, thrice. It was a steel-frame door, the kind that was used in solitary confinement. It was rattling in its hinges. BAM!! BAM!! A screw popped loose, then two more. Finally, it broke the door down with a crash and the six of them beheld...Cthlulhu?) BREARGH! (Imagine a creature on all-fours, vaguely humanoid, but about one-half the size of your average human. It sat like a toad with a head poking up, looking around with strange golfball-sized eyes and at least four tendrils twitching from the place where its mouth should be. It was scaly, like a fish or lizard, and had...a reverse-action mouth in its chest. It was still chewing on something, open and shut, while watching them. Small bits of skull fell out of there...which would led the six of them to notice the headless, half-eaten human guard outside the room. There was a gun in his holster, ordinary handgun. He never even had the chance to fire. This thing had gotten to him way too fast...) |

"Oh my god..." Lance beheld the monster and a chill went down his body. This was definitely not made by "natural" means. The hands of man had to have been working with this...thing. What was worse is that most of them didn't have a lot of protection to defend themselves. At least, something they could use readily at the moment. The only weapon that they had was a metal rod, and if they could get to the door that could be used as a shield...maybe. But first things first, they needed a distraction. Anything that could get the monster's attention taken away from the prisoners. |

Sera stared into the face, or at least, what looked to be the face, of her new opponent. it was hideous, scary, loud, drooling, but above all, annoying. Her metal rod in hand, her Materia off in nowheresvill, she didn't have many options. She noticed the guard behind the creature, it was apparant that he tried to fight, but didn't succeed. That didn't down her though, she was better than him, she wouldn't die here. Not to this ugly thing, anyway. She was the closest to it, and she was the only one psudo-armed. "Someone think of something quick, I'll only be able to hold it off for a little bit!" Was the only thing she said before charging the short distance between her and the mindflayer, drawing her rod above her head, and sending it downward at it's head with as strong a force as she could muster. |

"Well isn't that just the ugliest thing you have seen?...no no it isn't, but that is really really close; a certain second place." Adrienne had spoken with a confident voice after seeing the creature. It was truly ugly and to top things off, it had eaten half the guard's head and that was just gross. She held out her hand for a short moment while trying to create her kitsune-bi, but there was still no response which ment there was still active nullifiers. She blinked and grinned when Sera had made an attack towards the monster, but chuckled at the idea that popped into her mind. "Hey Grangbok? Can I throw you at the monster?" OOC: Jinx! (Words meant nothing to the beastie. Only actions. And actions stated that these people wanted a piece of it. Well, even though it didn't have much of a mind, it certainly had excellent instincts for combat. With a screech, it moved its head aside from where Sera was bringing down the rod and watched it clang on the ground a few inches over. It jumped back a foot or two and then leapt straight at Sera like a face-hugger alien, intending to grab her with its face-tendrils in mid-air!) |

Adrienne asking about throwing him had done it. Panicking and trying to scramble farther into Lance's shirt, the goblin lost his grip and fell to the ground, cursing all the way down. He landed safely on his rear, a story he would change later to make himself look brave and heroic, and regurtitated a giant lump of semi-solid material, oozing with saliva and bile. After dabbing at his mouth a little with his shirt, he smiled, until the monster attacked Sera. Grabbing the ball up, he whirled in a circle and releashed it, splattering the muck bomb all over the crearure's eyes and giving off a horrid stench that made everyone else in the room queasy. Grangbok was too busy to notice though, he was looking around for someone to wipe his hands on. OOC:Story Kitski! Twas teh sleepeh, I was! |

What came through the door was hideous. Mitski gave it a look that was full of utter disgust and disdain. Maybe being locked in her cell wasn’t a bad thing. Of course her team mates got her out just in time for the action. All in all, most people seemed to be calm. Mitski however was still in shock from disbelief and disgust. She had played silent hill, and resident evil, but damn - to think she would be put in a real life situation was something beyond her. She snapped out of her thoughts when two things happened. The first was when Sera charged the monstrosity. The second was when Adrienne mentioned throwing the goblin. Okay, at the moment, the goblin was probably not her favorite person. Even so, What was Adrienne thinking. Mitski shot her girlfriend a glance of confusion. Well, whenever her girlfriend had in mind, hopefully it would help to keep that thing at bay. Mitski let her eyes scan the area. There had to be something she could use to fight. She could feel that her powers were still not working; she didn’t even need to test it. She needed something, anything. It was then she looked past the doors and saw the left overs of the guard. There was a holster strapped to his remains. Mitski was barely able to get a glimpse of the gun that it contained. Okay, she didn’t know if ammunition would work on this thing, but that was better then nothing. Her gaze shot back towards Sera and the thing. Could Mitski get passed the broken down door to get to the door? Only one way to find out. Mitski made a dash for the guards body that lay outside the door. She ran past the two battling figures, and in to the hall. As she did, she almost slipped on the chewed up bits of skull on the floor. She slightly fell forward, but used the momentum and her hands to keep her going. Now near the guards body, she fumbled with the gun. Calm down she thought. She snatched up the gun. Oh please let there be bullets in this thing. Now holding it with two hands, she came up to stand in the door way and aimed the gun at the thing. She never had practice with a gun, so she wasn't going to aim for something difficult. Especially since she didn’t want to hit Sera. However, when she went to take a shot, she noticed that it was in mid air , and going to for Sera's face. "Shit. I might hit her." She held the gun aimed at it, but afraid to shoot. ((Someone with aim, please take this from her.. lol)) |

The vibrations of the rod hitting the ground didn't sit well with Sera, it didn't give her any time to recover and think up a counterattack before it was too late. She looked at the charging creature, readying her arm to get caught first, when out of nowhere, disgusting sludge flew near her and slammed the creature in the face. She reared her metal rod back, poised to strike while it's defences were down, but then a glimps of Mitski rushing behind it and grabbing the discarded guard's gun caught her eye. The girl grabed it and pointed, though was quite hesitant to shoot, what was she thinking? Sera was directly on the opposite side of the creature, a single miss and she'd be shot. But she couldn't very well just dodge, the mindflayer was recovering quickly, and had proven before that it had keen reflexes. Doing the only thing that came to her mind, she leapt forward, onto the creature's back. She used the metal rod as a choke bar across the thing's throat, she didn't know if that's where it actually breathed, but at the very least it would allow her to hold on. "SHOOT NOW!" She yelled, ready to hold on for her life, and hope Mitski was a better thought that she knew. |

OOC: I'll let your action go this time, Grangbok. But next time, say that you aimed for the eyes. That's how this biz works. IC>>> BREARRGGH!! (It had been leaping in the direction of its attacker, intent on...well, nobody could be sure what EXACTLY it wouls do, but it would not be good. Before it could reach its target, though, Grangbok threw something nasty at it like a gorilla flinging poo. The crap caught it in the face and forced it to land prematurely on the ground, shaking its head free of the unknown gunk. That gave Mitski the time to grab the gun, but she didn't fire. She was unsure of herself in this. However, Sera's next move might make it easier as she got the beast by the throat with her rod. It seems that it MAY have used the throat for breathing, but the chest-mouth took in heavy heaves as soon as the neck was blocked off. It wasn't going to die of suffocation. While this happened, the creature scraped and scrabbled to get free like a wild animal, because that's all it was, a wild freak.) KREEE!! KREEE!! KREEE!! |

Lance watched as Sera continued to keep the monster at bay. She wasn't shooting, and that was a bad thing. If there was something that he had learned in his training is to use weapons like guns. He grabbed the gun that Mitski had and pointed it at the monster's head. If there was something that he learned about killing things, usually the head was the weakpoint. He unloaded five rounds aiming for the monster's skull and hoped it would make it stop moving. It was borderline creepy and disturbing how quickly Lance was able to kill, even if that was a monster. His breath was slow as he looked down at the monster with contempt. "That takes care of that." |

The goblin was still uncertain what to make of this environment. It was hostile, or at least slightly unfriendly, and smelled like something you might find under under the fridge after leaving a block of limburger cheese under it for several years. A quick look at the monster reminded him why. One of the human males had taken the metal thing from the shaky girl and pulled on the smaller metal piece, making a loud noise that put holes in the creature. Maybe if he was lucky he could play with it too. Having wiped his hands on some very important map-like documents, he waddled over and pulled on Lance's pant leg. "Me wanna try the big noisy thing. Gimme, gimme!" Holding his hands up, he made clutching motions with his hands and stamped his feet impatiently. "Gimme now, or me no share dead animal with you! |

Sera held on for her life, the metal pole doing exactly nothing. Though it did give her a nice advantage for keeping herself atop the vile thing. It kicked and clawed and tossed itself in random directions, all in attempts to free itself from her grasp. THough it wasn't like she was able to do anything at this rate, she was so occupied with staying on she wasnt able to make an attack. Only if she had her materia she could do something. She didn't notice the motions Lance took toward Mitski's gun, but the five rounds that were unloaded sure helped her mood. In a violent motion she was thrown backwards, no longer able to hold onto the metal pole, it went falling to the ground, as she went rollingi n the opposite direction.
