The lake had finally warmed up, and the ice had melted from its surface. Oh, it was still cold, too cold to go swimming. Not like he would, though. Cyan was never a good swimmer. Still, he did enjoy being near the lake. The waves gently lapping up onto the ground comphorted him, made him smile, when little else could. Today, Cyan gazed upwards, ignoring the swishing of the waves beneath his feet. He gazed up at the moon, called Luna by the scientists. Nearing the middle of the month, it was nearly half full. "Almost like a coin," he murmered, looking skyward still. It seemed so close, that he could pluck it from the heavens. Half tempted, he reached up with his hand, before letting it drop, a wan smile on his face. "Very close," he mused, his gaze lowering to the waters, which dampened the boots he wore on his feet. When he continued on, the imprint of his foot was left behind for a few moments, before it was lost in the sand again. Quietly, he began to whistle, giving some human noise to the silent night, which was not truley silent. The waves, the night animals; crickets, the hoot of an owl, the scampering of a mouse as it flead into its home, scared by the strange, high pitched noise coming from the young man.. The music contained no pattern, but went this way and that, like a road made through the forest. Yet, it was soothing, too. Calming to the ear, because of its winding tune. |

More and more lately, Faria had been finding it more and more difficult to find sleep. She'd had her unexplained insomnia before, but she knew comming to this new school couldn't be helping. She'd seen enough of the school already and decided to go beyond the campus and explore a bit. She was wearing her long, black coat, and had tied what she could of her navy hair back in a short ponytail. Her thoughts roamed about, staying on nothing in particular and often just going blank. She'd been walking along the shore of the lake for a while, her boots lightly crunching on the sand. Besides the normal sounds of the night, that was all she could hear... No, wait. She stopped walking to listen. There was another noise out here, someone singing... no, not singing, whistling. Curious, and slightly longing to not be so alone, she started towards the strange, but beautiful, song. |

Goruma whisteled a short melody as his steps smashed through the leaves. He hadn't been anywhere out of campus for a while, and found it boring. His twin, however, found staying indoors to be a sort of noble justice which should not be broken. Which was why Goruma was glad that he was the 'dominant' body. Goruza, his twin, had little choice but follow him, after all, as Goruma liked to see it, Goruza was just a worm on his shoulder. "Thissssssss issssssss a bad idea, you ignorant fool! Whenever we get out, we ALWAYS get in trouble!" Goruza hissed loudly into Goruma's ears. "Thats because you always to have bite anyone who even greets you." Goruma added, eyeing the copper-scaled serpent on his right shoulder. "And you realize that alot of thossssssse people end up tyring to attack usssssssssss! Have you learned nothing, brother!?" Goruza hissed frantically. "No." Goruma casually replied as he continued, towards the Lake. "I'lll die an early death. Even insssssssssectsssssssssssss will have a longer lifessssssssssssssspan than me and they only live for a sssssssssssshort time!" Goruza hissed sadly, swaying his head. Goruma suddenly heard a sharp whistle through the forest, which, although seeming 'wild', not being restrained by any pattern, still had a sort of tune which did not seem out of place. Goruza hissed angrily, flicking out his froked-tongue, "If itsssssss that harpy again, I sssssshall snap of her fingersssssss!" "Don't worry, bro. I don't think its her. But, I'm, guessing the source of this is pretty near the lake so I guess it wouldn't hurt checking it out." Goruma said as he started towards the strange tune, preparing himself for Goruza's protests to this. |

Cyan stopped, his ears perked. A noise, off and to the right. In a motion barley visible, he slid a long bladed dagger into his hand. "Hello there,"he said aloud. His voice was quiet, as though he didn't want to disturb the serenity of the evening. He turned to the newcomer, his sharp brown eyes going over her quickly. Just as quickly as the dagger had appeared, it was gone. "I hadn't expected to see anybody else out here at this time," he continued, moving a bit closer. "Cyan Montag." |

She knew that she'd been getting closer to the tune, but she didn't realize she was right upon the person who was whistling it. Then the song faded away, she slowed down and stopped walking, trying to listen for it again. She didn't notice him until he stood up. When she did, she took a quick step back, not realizing she was so close to him. She narrowed her gaze, trying to see better who it was. As he had reached for his blade (unnoticable to her), her hand dropped slightly, ready to go for one of her sie sheathed in her boots. "I hadn't expected to see anybody else out here at this time. Cyan Montag." She couldn't see him that well, and gave up trying. She straightened and returned her hand inside it's sleeve, his voice sounding friendly, it was probably fine. She gave a friendly, but wary smile. "I'm Faria, it's nice to meet you, Cyan. I'm sorry if I inturupted you. Please, continue your song, it was very beautiful." She waved slightly to the groud, telling him she was fine. Having been walking for a while, she kind of wanted to sit too, but she felt it rude if she sat down and he continued standing. Though, she didn't want him to think she was hinting at this either. |

Cyan could see her, a bit better than she could him. His dark vision was a bit better, and he could make out many details on her. His dark colored clothes probably didn't help her either. "If I'd know I would have an audience, I probably wouldn't have done so." His face flushed with a bit of color, gratefully hidden by the darkness. He was never one for public attention. "A pleasure, Faria, to be sure," he told her. "Perhaps you'd like to sit, and talk with me for a while. It is not often I see somebody out here on my walk." |

Faria nodded, half wandering if he had caught her hint. "Sure. I was having trouble sleeping... company is nice." She slowly sat down, pulling her knees up in front of her and resting her crossed arms on them. She looked up at Cyan, still unable to figure out what he looked like. "Do you walk out here a lot?" After trying and terribly failing to see his features, Faria gave up and looked out across the lake instead. She watched the reflecting of the moon on the water and a strange sense of calmness came over her. She liked the peaceful waves that the lake made and strangely felt more relaxed then she had in a while. Though, she was still in the presence of a stranger... |

Cyan nodded slightly. "Yes," he agreed, "company is nice." "I walk almost nightly. I don't sleep too well...bad dreams." He didn't need much sleep, either. The dreams just made him fight off the bit of sleep he needed. A bit of moonlight shone through the clouds overhead, illuminating the immediate area, giving Faria a better view of Cyan, and he of her. "That's a bit better," he murmered, looking skyward. Cyan seemed relaxed, even around somebody he had just met. Even though he seemed upbeat, there was a sadness in his eyes, as of one who has suffered much, but also has known joy and hope. |

"That's a bit better." The moon now clearer, Faria was able to make out Cyan a little easier. He seemed younger than she'd expected, but then, didn't look as young as he seemed, if that made any sense. She rested her head on her knees, looking at Cyan sideways. She decided he was really nice, but he seemed so sad... Even more so than she felt, though she knew that was very possible. Psh, how could she be so selfish all the time? She was better off then most people were, she had to stop thinking that way... Starting to get lost in her own thoughts for a moment, she looked back out at the water, watching it bubble up onto the sand and then fall back into itself. She wanted to reach out and touch it but she knew it'd be too cold. She blinked quickly, catching her mind wandering off and brought it back to where she was. She turned her head back to face Cyan. "Bad dreams? I'm sorry, Sir." The "Sir" was out of her strange politeness, it was just the way she was. She didn't mean to make him feel old or anything if she had. It was just what she called people sometimes. Cyan seemed worthy of the "Sir". She looked back out at the lake's surface. She hated nightmares herself, but kept finding them harder and harder to get away from. They repeat and morph, making an inescapable torchure, and characters return to haugnt you over and over, even if they weren't real... "Nightmares are no fun..." |

Cyan could see her a bit better now, too. She was pretty, but he could have figured that out, without the aid of the moon's revealing rays. "SIr?" he questioned, grinning slightly. "What is this? None of that 'sir' crap, Faria. Makes me feel old. Save it for the teachers." His grin broadened a bit, and he brushed aside a bit of dark hair, which had fallen into his vision. "Yes, dreams," he said, "but I can deal with them. They come and go, have been for a year or so now, I think. Hard to tell, sometimes. Tell me, do you come here, to the lake, often, at this time of night? I never see anybody else out, this late...or this early in the morning." Indeed, it was very late, or very early, depending on how you looked at it. It was nearing two in the morning. Yet, Cyan manuvered as though it were still light out. |

(ooc: I'm gonna be gone for a week or so cuz I have finals and stuff to work on for school... sorry XP) Faria studied Cyan a brief moment and then looked back out over the water, something in her mind wondering if she could catch a glimpse at the other side. A thought flickered through her head. She didn't think Cyan was too bad looking himself, though she hadn't really looked at anyone close enough before to come to such a conclusion. A small smile touched her lips, but faded just as soon. "No... this is my first time out here. I haven't really gone here long enough to come out here at all. Though I really like it... at night time I mean. I'm not sure I want to see it at day though, it'd ruin how beautiful it is at night..." Faria stretched her feet out in front of her, lightly tapping the toes of her boots together making a soft "pat pat" when they touched. She leaned back on her arms, still looking at the water. "I'm guessing you come out here a lot yourself?" |

Cyan caught the slight smile, which played across her face, and gave one of his own. It wasn't much, just a tug at the corner of one side of his lips, but it was visible. "Yes," he agreed," it would ruin the beauty of the night..." He drew his hands together, stretching them in front of him. His left hand had a black glove on it. It appeared to be leather, but reflected the moonlight like leather could not. "Yes," he told her, "I come out here often. Sleep escapes me these days, I'm afraid. Yet, I do not miss the lack of it, if Ic ross paths with such as yourself." |

"Oh?" A light blush touched her cheeks. Nyeh, wha..? She stopped tapping her feet and focussed on keeping herself cool. Why was she freaking out? She bent her head forward ever so slightly, just enough for her hair to fall forward a bit, hoping it covered her face enough, but kept it inconpicuous. How was this? She'd only just met him. Right, okay, nothing to get so worked up about. She started tapping her boots again, but slower this time. She looked up at the moon. Should she say thank you, or deny his compliment like she normally would have? She really didn't think she could compete with sleep, especially someone else's. From the corner of her sight, she saw him smile. It wasn't much of a smile, but a smile all the same. She looked at him and allowed her small smile to return, but she held it longer this time. She still wasn't sure of what to say so she didn't say anything. |

Cyan caught the flush of her cheeks, and his grin broadened a little. When she looked his way, he gave her a quick wink, before looking away again. "So," he began, "tell me, Faria, why did you come here, to the High School, I mean? It seems there are all sorts of reasons. Some, because they are wanted nowhere else. Others, because they wish to learn to control their powers. The vast majority, it seems...Want to get stronger..." Cyan asked himself, right then, which was it for him? Origonally, he had come to get stronger, and return home. Now, there was no home, and so, no reason to get stronger... |

Faria had looked out across the lake again. Giveing her more of a real smile made her feel better. She had been a tad uneasy earlier, but she felt more comfortable with him, now, and he seemed much friendlier. Her smile faded, but she didn't look quite as troubled as she did before. "So, tell me, Faria, why did you come here, to the High School, I mean? It seems there are all sorts of reasons. Some, because they are wanted nowhere else. Others, because they wish to learn to control their powers. The vast majority, it seems...Want to get stronger..." Faria stared at the waves. Why had she really come here? He dad made her go, of course... but why? So far all that she could come up with was that he wanted to get rid of her... but... No, she really didn't want to think about it. She looked back up across the lake and tried to forget. "My dad." She pulled her legs back up and sat cross legged. She leaned forward, her elbows on her knees and her head resting on her hands. She cleared her throat quietly and looked back at Cyan. She looked at him for a moment, glad that her thoughts were kept secretly in her head. "What about you?" |

Cyan sighed. He, too, looked out across the lake, for a moment. Then, back to her. Despite the darkness, he could see her well enough. With the moon's aid, it was almost like seeing her during the day. "I...I really don't know, anymore," he told her, running a hand through his hair. "Origonally...I had come here, to get stronger, just like all the others. But now, my reason for coming here, to get stronger, is irrelevent." That was a nice way of putting it, he thought to himself. He did not want to tell this young woman what had happened. How he had come home, to find his town destroyed. That he had tracked down the villan, and slain him, and all those he had worked with, and the building he had worked in. All he had done in those few minutes of rage. "Now, though...I think I am here, to learn...And, perhaps, to learn control." |

"Oh..." Faria didn't really have a whole lot to say at the moment. For some reason, she felt bad for Cyan. He hadn't said much, but his tone said that he didn't want to talk about it. She sat up and stretched her arms out behind her, feeling a bit stiff. She stood up and strode to the water's edge. A wave came up, danced about the toes of her boots and then fell back into the lake, followed by another one not long after. She sighed for lack of something better to say. She grabbed at the back of her neck for a moment, trying to relax her muscles, but gave up. "You wanna walk around for a while, or would you rather stay here?" |

"A walk sounds like a fine idea," Cyan told her, smiling. He rose, the joints in his legs giving quiet cracking sounds as he did so. "One of the bad things about being tall," he grumbled. "A lot farther from the ground to standing." He stretched quickly, then ran a hand through his hair, before offering the other one to her. "Where do you feel like going to?" he asked her, his eyes shining in the moonlight. |

As Cyan rose and commented on his height, Faria giggled. "I'm sorry." She hadn't realized how tall he was before. She'd known people his height, and taller, before, but for some reason she suddenly felt very small. "Where do you feel like going to?" She looked into his eyes for a moment, but quickly looked away. She looked around at the lake and the surrounding area and then stared up at the cloud splotched sky. She'd noticed his hand too, but out of nervousness, and not knowing what to do about it, she pretended like she hadn't seen it. "I don't know..." She looked back at him and shrugged. "Anywhere you want to go. I don't mind just walking around." She shrugged again. |

'No need to be sorry,' he told her. 'I blame my dad and his genes. He was at least a head taller than I am, when he was still around.' 'Once around the lake then, perhaps?' he asked er, raising a black brow. 'Come on,' he told her, waggling his fingers. 'I don't bite...unless you want me to.' He winked, before looking back up once again, a small smile on his face. 'The night is far too fine, to wast sitting here. Perhaps the moon will shine better elsewhere, so I can get a good look at you.' |

A smile creeped across her face again. She really didn't smile much, but there was something about this guy that just... made her smile. Slowly, uneasily, she took his hand. And though she'd finally taken it, she still stood a bit appart. She'd never been in a situation like this, or even similar, and it was awkward. Her dad had never touched her, besides a second long hug every year or so, maybe 2 or 3 hugs a year if she was lucky. Her smile dissolved with unpleasant thoughts of her father... 'The night is far too fine, to waste sitting here. Perhaps the moon will shine better elsewhere, so I can get a good look at you.' With that, her smile returned. She exhaled, a silent laugh to herself. What a flirt this guy was! "Alright." ((ooc: so, how's Germany? lol =^^=)) |

'See,' he told her, 'and your hand didn't melt or anything.' Hís smile broadened a little, and he released her hand. 'See, the moon shines better already. Obviously, we are supposed to go for a walk.' He offered his hand again, looking to her, his eyes dancing. 'Once around the lake, perhaps?' |

Faria looked into his shining eyes, unable not to. Eh...?? Was this the feeling that people were explaining when they said butterflies were fluttering in their stomach? She blinked, managing to look away for a moment. The edge of her mouth turned up in a tiny smile. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure what to do, but then she got a grip on herself. Psh, what the heck, girl! She raised her shoulders, shifting her long coat a little bit. Being warm on the inside and fairly cold on the outside, it was a bit stiff. She reached up and unbuttoned the top two buttons to air out the coat a bit. Much better. Underneath, she was wearing a sleeveless vest with a collar that reached up and covered her neck. Though there wasn't much light to catch the colour, it was Navy like her hair and made of a soft material she couldn't name, and trimmed with a light black lace. It was one of her favorite tops. She looked back at Cyan and smiled, taking his hand again. "Alright, once around the lake." ((ooc: lol, yeah, it might be nice to visit germany sometime... ooc- the z and y keys are in the opposite spots, for one. For another, I can't find the '' key. I always have to use ' IC- Cyan smiled, glad she had agreed to come along with him. 'I was hoping you would agree,' he said, offering her his hand, long fingered and fine boned. 'The lake is beautiful at this time of night, and with the moon as it is...I think it shall be spectacular.' He winked, his face standing out against the soft black and red robes he wore. He looked almost wraithlike, right then, slender and tall, his robes billowing slightly against the wind, his long black hair tied back from his face. Sometimes, he could be terrifying, in times like this. Now, though, he looked more playful, his eyes set on the young woman in front of him. |

Faria didn't see him as wraith-like at all. Somehow, it was the "wraith-like" appearance that she found charming, that made her head flutter like it was. "Yes, the moon is very nice... I don't think I've ever seen it like this before, or stars this clear. I've only ever lived in the city, there are too many lights to see many stars. And the smog in the air makes the moon appear a brownish, sickening colour. Heh, I've always dislike the moon, until now..." She faded off, realizing she'd said a lot. She usually didn't talk much at all, but for some reason, she had something to say, very unusual for her. It seemed really easy to talk to this young man, though. As they walked, she looked at the ground, unsure where she should let her gaze rest. She looked at her hand in his and an odd feeling came over her, but left her just as soon. She blinked. No, this was so weird... was this right? She carefully slipped her hand out of his and into her pocket. She looked out across the lake, her boots crunching softly on the ground, much softer than normal boots, and her thoughts kept silently within her mind. ((sorry it's taken so long for me to reply, very busy *dies* but I'll try to reply more, heh)) |

'Tonight, the moon and stars shine for us,' he told her, looking to her, then up to the moon and stars. 'There was a song, I knew, from back home, about the moon and the stars. It was about lost love, and what a man might do for a woman's love.' He reddened slightly, but the shadows hid the coloration. 'It's a silly song, though. I doubt that you would like to hear it. Nothing but old German music.' When she withdrew her hand, he kept his there, at least for a moment, before it slid into the sleeve of its partner, folded now before him. ooc- hey, RL comes first hun. Take as long as you need. |

"Oh?" Faria looked up at Cyan and, noticing his slight uneasiness, guessed what the darkness hid. She returned her gaze forward and smiled to herself. "I wouldn't mind hearing the song, if you wouldn't mind singing it? You're whistling earlier was very beautiful, Cyan, I'm sure you have a singing voice to match it." She looked up at him and smiled, a small giggle escaping her lips. Curiosity wrapped it's arms around her, not to let go until she had heard him sing. As she walked, a random song popped into her head from one of her favourite groups, a song that she found to be flattering in her own little way, but it wasn't so much the song that mattered, it was the feeling it gave, similar to how she felt now. Her fingers fidgetted restlessly in her pockets, she had a sudden urge to paint something, anything, whatever fit her mood, to satisfy her feelings. That's what she did when she felt something so strongly, or in this case, something so different. She closed her hands in her pockets and tried to supress her urge. She could wait till later. ((ooc: ah, lol, sorry lots of ooc X_x but about the new houses replacing the dorms. my chara's not on any of the lists. I've messaged The Franchise and told him and he said she was on there. ooc- you can live with cyan -_^ Cyan smiled at her, his eyes dancing. "Well, since you want me to, I suppose I could." He winked at her. "I used to play the piano a lot. Mabey you can sing then, hmm? I'll bet you're voice is as beautiful as the stars...But I ramble...the song..." He cleared his throat, before beginning. His voice, when singing, was soft, almost whispery, but was lilting and haunting itself. If I had wings, I'd fly to the moon, and hold the stars in my grasp, I would blimb the sky, Watch the world go bye, And forget the dreams of my past... If I had wings, I'd fly to the stars, and give them all to you, But as time passes by, I would watch you fly and I, Would wonder that I'd give them to who... The moon, the stars, the darkness above, they all seem so very near, But I've not the wings, To fly to these things, So it seems that I shall be left here... At the end, he cleared his throat, and coughed self consiously. "Like I said," he told her, "not too good." |

"No way, that was beautiful!" Faria let her smile loose, and clapped a couple of times. She wasn't sure why, but she really liked his voice and he was an excellent singer. She folded her arms across her chest and shivered a little to warm up. She gave a nervous laugh. "Me? Sing? no... I'm afraid I'm really no good at singing. I'm sorry, though. My artistic tallent is more of the visual type." Her smile had faded, but a reflection of it still rested on her face. Right now she was happy, or at least more so than she had been in... forever. It was nice, and she couldn't let her smile escape all the way. Talking about art made her a little easier about wanting to paint something and she could keep her fingers still now. She covered her mouth to hide a yawn. She wasn't that tired, but the yawns came anyway. Her eyes watered from the yawn and she blinked quickly to get rid of the tears. She hated when that happened, it always made people think that she was crying when she really wasn't. From the looks other people gave her when she said that's what happened when she yawned, she figured that she must be the only person in the world that it happened to... She looked up at him, her eyes shining in the moonlight, still not all the way cleared to normal from her yawn. "I'm guessing by your whistling earlier and your beautiful singing that you like music a lot, Cyan?" Looking forwards again so she wouldn't stumble, she unconciously ran her fingers through her hair. She was always careful to keep it clean and she used a special conditioner that she happened upon once that, surprisingly, didn't cost a fortune like one would have guessed. So her hair was always soft and she loved the feel of it. ((ooc- lol, maaybe... as long as she gets her own room for privacy, lol, and because I'm sure Cyan wouldn't like her dumping her art stuff everywhere and getting paint on walls that he has to look at everyday. ^.^)) |

"You like to paint?" he asked her, looking over to her, his brows raised. "I tried my hand at it, once...got more paint on my cloathes than the canvas...I gave it up right after that." He slid the robe from about him. Underneath was a loose fitting red shirt, and a pair of flowing black pants, which looked very soft. A black tatoo wound up his left arm, branching off near the shoulder. "Here," he offered, "you look a bit cold, Faria." Before she could say anything, he slid it over her shoulders, lingering just a little more than he had to. As he withdrew, he brushed a hand over her cheek, wiping away one of the tears. "Am I that boring?" he asked, a look of mock sadness on his face. He couldn't keep it long, though, and was soon grinning onc again. "I used to play the piano, and violin. These days, I don't, as much as I used to. It seems I am very busy, these days. No time for simple pleasures like that..." Without thinking, he ran a hand along the length of her hair, lingering at her neck and shoulders. "Gah, I'm sorry!" he said, withdrawing his hand. He seemed surprised with himself. "I don't know where that came from..." |

Faria stopped walking and looked at Cyan for a moment, wondering what he was thinking. She shifted his robe, getting used to the added weight of it on her shoulders. She knew men and women thought differently, but she was suddenly curious what was going through his head. His touch wasn't expected, almost unwanted, but wasn't unpleasant. She blinked. She barely knew him, probably only for a few hours or so (she hadn't been keeping track of time), but somehow she felt as though she'd known him for a long time. He was easy to talk to, which she'd alrealy admitted to herself, as well as that strange feeling that fluttered in her stomach when she looked at him or at least what she could see of him in the dim moonlight. She couldn't make out the colours of him or his clothes very well, as the rods of her eyes wouldn't allow her in the darkness, but his skin was fairly light and his hair dark, a pleasant contrast. She caught herself looking at him like she was and stopped quickly, looking back out over the lake, again not seeing what her eyes showed, her mind lost in thought. She felt nervous, embarrassed even, knowing all too well how it could turn out. How it would turn out. Someone as handsome as him probably had plenty enough admirers, and likely already had a girlfriend anyway. His easiness and charm that he had around her probably from past experiences. Not that she really wanted to be his girlfriend, and why would someone like him even chose some random person like her? She really had no significance that would mean anything to anyone. She turned her head, looking down at the ground to the side of her, but just enough so she could see him from the corner of her eye. But just... her mind stumbled over itself for a moment. She tightened her jaw. Of what meaning were her feelings anyway? Not like they'd mattered in the past, how were they gonna matter, now? She coughed, having gotten herself under control for the moment, and looked back at Cyan appologetically, realizing that he had said something earlier. "I'm sorry... It's alright." She ran her fingers along the front hem of the robe, his smell resting on it lightly, as her smell probably wrapped itself around her clothes. The robe didn't really smell bad, nor did it smell really good, but for some reason that she couldn't say, like the source of her feelings, she liked the smell. She didn't want him to know that she was nervous, or even begin to guess what was going on in her mind, but she was probably so obvious at the moment, she was left speechless, not knowing what to do or say. Most of all she didn't want him to ask any questions, but knew they would come anyways, so she prepared herself with what little abillity that she had left at this point. ((ooc- lol, alright, I guess it sounds okay for now. I can start a thread *ahem* but I forgot which list Cyan was on, though I know I came across it several times, heh)) |

Cyan nodded, smiling slightly. "Well, erm, he began, coughing slightly. He realized where he was going, and wasn't quite ready. "It's getting a bit late...Mabey I should be going....Perhaps you could have lunch with me tomorrow, though...I'd like to meet up with you again, talk some more...Would that be okay?" ooc- sorry for the short post. Didn't really know where to go with it <.< >.> |

"Um..." Faria blinked, realising that it'd become uncomfortable for him, for her as well, but she didn't pay attention to her own discomfort. "That sounds alright, I guess I'll stay out here a bit longer..." True, she did feel a bit tired, but she didn't feel like going back to bed. A brief image of a dream flashed through her head and someone yelling at her, though she knew it was all in her head. She ignored it as well, trying to push herself away from her own thoughts. Ah, that's what darkness and lack of sleep did, did it not? Though sleep wouldn't fix this, she knew. She coughed her mind having wandered off again. "Oh!" She pulled Cyan's robe from her shoulders. She folded it twice length wise so she could return it politely. She held it out with both her hands. "Don't forget your robe, sir. Thank you very much for letting me borrow it." She bowed, not forgetting her manners, but forgetting that he'd asked her not to call him "sir", earlier. She smiled, feeling a bit awkward, hoping she hadn't made him too uncomfortable, thinking it was probably her fault. He seemed so unhappy all of the sudden... She wished there was something she could do to help him feel better. For now her smile was all she could give. "I would like having lunch with you sometime, Cyan. That sounds great." ((ooc--lol, so sorry ^^> I got kinda carried away and wrote a bit much up there, nee... ah, listening to vocal trance can do that sometimes, heh X_x)) |

ooc- lol, np. Those kinda things can do that to you. IC- Cyan nodded. It was a nice night out. He would have loved to stay here with this young woman...bu things were starting to get a little...odd. And they'd just met. "Alright then," he said to her. "It's a date. Can we meet in the Residential District? I know a great outdoor restaurant, if you'd like to go there." He grinned, giving her a wink. "Keep the robe for now. It's cool out. I don't feel the chill that much any more..." He yawned a little, covering his mouth. He was getting tired, and hated it. Another night of nightmares definatley did not appeal to him. "Until tomorrow then, Faria," he said to her, bowing low, his flowing cloathes running like water about his person. |

A date?? She hadn't realized what he'd meant when he wanted to have lunch with her. She'd innocently thought that he was asking to have lunch with her in the caffeteria, nothing really special. "Alright." She heard herself say it, but her mind was still somewhere trying to figure out what had just happened. She was glad her back was to the moon, sure that she was blushing madly. To try to disguise it, she unfolded his robe and slipped her arms into the sleeves. Though she felt somewhat bad for taking his robe, it was very warm and she was grateful for it. "Thank you for letting me borrow your robe..." She saw him bow, and unsure if she should bow back, she curtsied instead, really unsure of what she should have done, and then feeling rather foolish at her choice of action. "It was very nice meeting you, Cyan. Thank you for walking with me." She hugged his robe to her for its warmth and smiled at him. "I'll see you tomorrow. Sleep well." She stood there looking at him, his clothes flowing about him in the wind. Her fingers started itching to paint what she saw. The inspiration that she'd lost as of late came back to her and she prayed that she wouldn't lose it, or at least until she'd gotten it down onto a canvas. His robe flowed about her like his own clothes about him, and her hair with it. She wiped a lock of her hair out of her eyes. She would wait there politely until he left before she continued her course by the lake. |
