Seiryuu Roomies' Lunch; (OPEN!)

'I wonder if it's still here...' Hareta thought as they neared the lunchroom, glad to hear the sound of chatter and laughter from with in. Noise meant people and people meant food. They didn't get lost after all. Smiling, she looked back at her companion, her roomate Jason, and slipped inside.

"Where do you want to sit?" she asked, looking around the large place. All the tables with two chairs were already occupied, most of the other tables were as well. If they sat at one with many chairs, they were sure to have company sooner or later. She wondered if Jason would mind that. He didn't seem the kind. She almost burst out laughing as two ideas came to her almost at the same time. First was that the two of them almost looked like siblings with their hair colour, though hers was infinitely lighter than his, two purpleheads sitting together would make quite a sight. Second was that a guy might approach their table to acquaint himself with Jason...who was stunningly beautiful. Alright, that seemed rather mean, but it was only partially her fault! She hadn't mentioned it lest she offended him, but her roomie really did look like a girl....

Still standing where they were, she looked around at the different sections of food, leaving Jason to scout for seats. She was suddenly hungry herself. It was a good thing she remembered to barter some of the...trinkets she had picked up during their heists for money before coming here. She hummed softly in thought. "Hey, Jason? Are you allergic to any kind of food?"

Jason entered the lunchroom with Hareta and looked about the place with curious eyes as he allowed his hands to rest on his hips. A small strand of dark purple hair falling across his face and reached up with one hand to wipe it away. Hearing Hareta's question, he shrugged his shoulders lightly, not quite sure himself.

"Don't really know, let me see," Jason said as one hand could be seen under his chin, one of his thinking gestures. His eyes scanned the lunchroom for possible seatings. After a few seconds, his eyes came to stop on a table that had at least four chairs unoccupied. There were some people at the table but he didn't really mind. He then pointed the table out to Hareta. "How about that one?"

He heared her other question and quickly shook his head from left to right.

"No, at least of what I no of." Jason said with a smile.

((if I'm intruding ignore this post.))

Irea wandered into the lunchroom mildly hungry. Her amathyst eyes scanned the crowd. She spotted a familiar pretty face scanning the room. She had met Jason on the roof. She approached shyly. Irea stopped about ten paces away from the boy.

"Hi, Jason. Do you mind if I eat with you? I don't know that many people yet and I was hoping you wouldn't mind." Irea's voice was soft and shy as she asked to eat with one of the few people she knew. She wrung her hands in front of her and her eyes pleaded to be accepted.

(It's ok, unless jason minds)

"Um...okay," she replied, nodding her head as she finally spotted the table he was pointing. Easily slipping through the thin crowd and walking around tables and chairs while at the same time looking around her, it was a slight disappointment to realize she couldn't find any of her old acquaintances. Not that they were many, or were the type to hung-out at the lunchroom though, she reasoned against herself.

"That's good," she said, smiling. The light in her eyes showed her mind was someplace else on something else, though her voice remained steady, true and sincere. "I wouldn't want to have to escort you to the clinic while you vomit all over the place or turn purple in the face or something."

She finally reached the table. Pulling out a chair for herself, she dropped herself on it rather heavily, not having realized that she was totally exhausted. Though it wasn't apparent due to the absence of any trace of it on her face, she had barely slept for the last couple of days. Travelling alone meant there was no other to share the watch with at night so she only ever received rest whenever she was completely sure that there was no danger to herself. Which, unfortunately, didn't happen very often especially near the road leading to AHS.

Someone spoke, breaking into her thoughts and reverie. She turned around to find a girl behind them, talking to Jason. She flashed her a smile but said nothing. It was obvious she knew Jason and was directing the question of joining their table at him.

((I don't mind, the more the merrier, yes? ))

Jason blinked a few times in surprise as he heard a familiar voice come to his ears. He turned his head and saw Irea, she seemed somewhat nervous or shy. It must be the people. Most the people in here were strangers to him. Looking to irea he smiled at her and nodded his head.

"Sure, who am I to deny a friend? It's good to see a familiar face around here," Jason said then looked over to Hareta hearing her comment about him throwing up. A smile brightening his face as he looked over to her. A small laugh escaping his lips. "If that should ever happen, only know that I will be gratefull for you company. So, what's there to ea in this place?"

Jason had a goofy smile on his face as he looked around the cafeteria.

"Yeah, you'll be lucky if I don't leave you alone," she answered in turn, laughing along with him. It was strange, in a sense. To most others they would appear as good old friends but the truth was they only met barely a few hours ago. Though she wouldn't entirely call herself someone who had a hard time befriending others, she made Jason a friend exceptionally fast.

She stood up, looked around, and then promptly hit the young man at the back of the head lightly. "Don't you want to introduce us first?" she asked in an obviously faked irritated tone, trying her best to glare at him while keeping her laughter at bay as well.

Jason's head bent forward with the head blow he recieved from Hareta and winced a bit. He loooked over to Hareta with big watery anime eyes and sniffed a little. It was one of his puppy dog faces.

"That was so cruel Hareta, I'm a poor hungry guy and you treat me so roughly." He said with a whiny tone then looked back over to Irea with a regualr cheered up expression. It was amazing how fast he could change his moods. "Irea meet Hareta. She's my roommate that I bumped into, literally. She's very clumsy, so be careful."

Jason choked whispering the last words to Irea. One hand cupping the side of his mouth to give the appearence he was whispering it to her.

[ooc: Huh?]

That earned him another whallop on the head, this time a bit more meant. Her poor mother must be rolling in her grave right about now! Whoever heard of a clumsy fox? And how about the military-type training she received as a child, wasn't that some kind of supplement to her already inert grace?

Hareta shook her head and laughed, then pulled at his hand to get him out of his seat. "Come on, I'm even more starved than you!" she insisted as she gave the arm one last tug before giving up. She dropped it and hurried to one stall that caught her eye, slipping through the crowd and around tables easily as if, but not really, making it a point to show him that she was not clumsy.

Jason laughed a bit when he was rewarded with another strike upon his head. He got up as soon as she started to tug on his arm. His light purple eyes staring down at her with a silly grin on his gentle features. A small chuckle escaped his laps as eh watched her with carefully, noting that she was cerful where she stepped. He of coarse was joking about her being clumsy.

"I'm hungrier than you are, I'm nothing but skin and bones." He laughed a bit as he fell in step behind her.

"I can't argue with you on that," she started, giving him a once over that was both criticizing and appreciative as well as admiring at the same time. Jason really was pretty, enough for both girls and boys to fall for him. Hareta didn't think of the remote possibility that she would though she had to admit the gods sort of outdid themselves with her roomate. She smiled sweetly after the not-so-subtle tease. "But I doubt you had to travel as far as me to get here," she continued, laughing a little at her own private joke.

"Hmm...so what do you want to eat?" she asked him, looking through the stuff that was laid before them. The stall was one of the more varied ones. Unlike the others it was rather large and had an assortment of sandwiches, salads, cakes, rice, viands, and whatnot.

Jason blinked a few times as he laughed a bit rubbing the back of his neck. He was starting to wonder what exactly went on inside the pretty little head of her's as he turned his attenton to the foo before them. He got a tray and and picked a burger with fries. His light purple eyes then went to the drinks they had. A smile coming to his face seeing that they had C2. He took the bottle and picked out his dessert which was a slice of cheesecake. Looking to Hareta, he smiled and waited for her to finish her choosing.

"How far did you travel to get here?" Jason asked with a curious expression on his face.

She looked at his choice of food for a moment, before getting some herself. Her meal consisted of a piece of freshly-baked pizza, a tuna sandwhich, some onion rings, Gatorade, and chocolate ice cream for later. Sure, they were mosly fattening foods, but she didn't have anything to worry about. She had a good metabolism-- almost too good for a human, or a meta-human for that matter-- and was already quite thin to begin with. She actually wished she'd fill out some more.

And also, it was a good chance to point out that she was a lot hungrier than him.

She turned to look at him at his question, raising an eyebrow as she moved out of the line to return to their table. "Why do you ask?" she asked in return, tilting her head. She was smiling, even as her mind raced. How was she supposed to explain where she came from?

"Just curious. You did say that you traveled further than I did to get here." Jason pointed out with a fork he had picked up from the food line. He then took that fork and stabbed it ino his cheesecake for a bite. A smile comming to his face as the flavor of his dessert exploded in his mouth with a wonderful delight. His eyes then went to Hareta's trey which was stacked. A sudden tease coming to mind.

"You know what they Hareta, a moment on the lips, a life time on the hips," He said with a small chuckle as he took another bite of his cheesecake. "Don't worry. If you get to fat, I'll roll you out of here."

She blushed some, but laughed good-naturedly at the jibe. Unfortunately she wasn't capable of returning it to him-- though his own food was rather the unhealthy kind, one look at Jason himself would asssure you it would take a lot, and do we mean a lot to make him fat. And he was eating the cake before his burger....

"Muchly appreaciated!" she said back with a grin, and then found an opening. She picked up her pizza and continued before taking a bite off its end, "Though I doubt you'd be able to with those thin arms of yours, girly!"

She chewed, swallowed, then wiped her lips with a napkin before returning to their topic. "How far? Do you want me to describe it in miles, iles, kilometers or what? Because I won't be able to," she replied to his question, not meaning to cause more confusion but probably doing so. But it was true however, human terms for measurement never were enough to describe the vastness of Makai.

Jason had sat down and was looking at Hareta with a silly grin on his face. He lifted one of his arms up and stared at it for a few seconds. It was true, his arms were kind of slender. Maybe some serious work out trainign could get him some muscles. He had seen a boy working out at the forest and he semed a little beefed, to his surprise. Jason chuckled a bit as he looked over at Hareta then to the girl with the tray in her hands.

"Hmm? Oh! Sure, sit right on down," Jason said with a smile as he looked over at Hareta and took a bite of his fries. "Hey, these then arms have some strength in them. And there's nothing wrong twith beinggirly...as far as I know anyway."

He laughed a bit then looked over ot hte newcomer.

"Hi, My name is Jason. What's your name?" He asked exstending his own hand out in a handshake.

"I guess that means we have to set up a sparring session sometime soon, roomie," she replied, not missing the chance to get in a challenge. Of course, she knew that in a fight not only strength mattered. There was speed...and style. Neither of which she doubted her roomate to posses, with that lithe body of his and all.

"Don't worry about it," she told the newcomer, smiling as she waved over the empty seats with her hand, pizza and all. She bowed her head in Japanese-fashion but didn't extend her hand for a shake. "And my name's Hareta, Hareta Star."

Jason smiled as he looked to Kiri and rubbed the back of his neck lightly.

"It's no problem, so, I take it your new here." Jason said with a smile as he picked up his burger and took a bite of it. He chewed for a couple of seconds before he swallowed it. His eyes looked to where Hareta was a an somewhat evil grin crossed his face. Due to his girlish features, it just made him look a bit funny. One of the reasons no one reaslly took him seriously.

"I'll be looking forward to it. But you have to go easy on me," Jason laughed a bit looking at her as he took a bite of his french fries. "I have never fought a single battle in my life."

She nearly choked on her pizza. After quickly uncapping her Gatorade and chugging some down, she turned to look at him with wide, disbelieving green eyes. "You're not serious, are you? However did you manage to survive this long and get here..?"

It was not like she hadn't seen non-fighting students at AHS before, but most meta-humans did fight, and many of them possessed powers for fighting. They weren't warfreaks or anything of the sort, they just had to learn to protect themselves, didn't they? That, or to aid them in fulfilling a mission of some sort.

She smiled at Kiri. "Nice to meet you then, Kiri-san. So you are new here, aren't you?" she asked. "Jason is too, but I've been here for some bit a few years back."

Jason's eyes went wide as she looked at Hareta and started to slapp her on her back, the poor girl look like she was choking! Hearing her question, he smiled a bit and rubbed the back of his neck lightly. So, that was what made her react in such a way, he thought it was a bit.

"Well, I did have body guards but I told them they were not allowed on the school's perimissis," Jason said looking at her as he smiled a bit and winked at her teasingly. Her expression were so funny, he couldn't help but laugh a little as he looked at her. "I was taught how to fight but I never actually got to fight."

A msile speading across his face as eh took a bit of his hamburger.

Hareta watched him take a bite off his burger, raising an eyebrow, but making no comment. What kind of bodyguards where they, if they let their charge go just like that? Not unless Jason was really the one whole pulled the strings, something she doubted very much. He was...too young to be the Master.

She leaned back on her chair, mentally shaking her head. Of course, she shouldn't compare their ways with the Nostrad's. It was unlikely they used the same system-- after all, she doubted Jason was Mafia. And even if he was, there were probably different sets of rules for different families within the community.

Smiling at him, she finished her pizza. "I'll go easy on you then, don't worry," she teased, succeeding in surpressing her laughter. The glint in her eyes told him she was expecting a good fight and would give what she saw fit for it. "When do you want to fight? And where?"

((ooc-sorry For the wait. XD))

Jason happily took another big bite of his burger and finished it off. He then started to eat the rest of his fries that were left. Popping another frie into his into his mouth, he crumpled up the hamburger wrapper and tossed it into the trash can. His light purple eyes looking over to Hareta after hearing her question about their fighting match. A smile coming over to grace his pretty litttle face.

"How about ten minutes from now? That way our food can settle and we won't have to worry about it coming up during the fight," Jason suggested with a small chuckle as he popped another fy in his mouth chewing it. "Food should stay down after eating."

"Yeah, I guess," she agreed, licking off some pizza sauce that had gotten on her fingers. Smiling at him sheepishly, she used a napkin to wipe off whatever was left. She then pushed her onion rings towards him, shrugging. "Hey, I don't want to eat too much before a fight, you know," she said, unwrapping her sandwhich.

"Where do you want to do it? Students usually go to the mountain to train, or the forest for a spar...not unless you want to do it in the gravity chambers?"

((OOC-Sorry took so. Long. Might be gone for a few days. 0o cousins have come to terrorize me.))

He smiled and plucked an onion ring up and popped it into his mouth smiling. Jason had heard of the gravity chambers, it seemed like a good place but he didn't think he was ready for that, just yet.

"Hmm, Let's go to the forest for a small sparring session. Ok? I don't think I'll be ready for the gravity chambers, I've been hearing that a lot of students seem to be injuring themselves there, lately." Jason said as he finished the rest of his meal and sipped lightly on his drink. His eyes looking around the lunchroom before they came to rest upon his roomie. A small smile on his face.

"Nah, I think you'll do okay in it," she told him with a shake of her head. She'd been there before, about a year or two ago, and it wasn't that bad. She told him as much, and then added, "Althought the place may have changed since then. You just never know with this school."

She shrugged, almost done with her food. She lughed lightly. "Forest it is then. But remember I have more places to hide there!"
