Isuo walked into the gravity chamber, seeing that it was clean and well kept. He had a sudden flashback of the little girl who he had hallucinated about, but he drove the memory from his consciousness. He walked into the center, this time ready for anything that the computer could throw at him. He put in the command for the same meadow and two level one bots. This time however, two normal evil looking bots greeted him. He did an experimental jump in the x2 gravity, finding it easier than his first experience. He ran forward toward the two villains, who were spreading out to invite him into the centre of a circle of sorts. He feinted at just that and then jumped back before they had a chance to attack. The one on the right didn't see the feint and attacked, hitting his partner, a dubious looking roughly shaven figure, in a pair of suit pants and a plain blue shirt. The other was a hunk of a 'man' and when he realised that he had fell for a trap, he did his best to correct himself, doing no considerable damage to his partner. The turned towards us after a backhand from the one just hit to his partner. Isuo got ready for a good fight, and launched himself towards the stonger looking one, getting a hit to the jaw before his guard was up, then a roundhouse kick to his back, sending him flying forward. "Wooooo!" Isuo screamed, feeling the adrenaline pump into his veins and enhancing his performance. He sent himself off at the other guy, attacking with a flying side kick, which was deftly blocked and countered, leaving Isuo lying on the ground. He smiled and invited Isuo for another shot, and soon Isuo was back on his feet, keeping aware of the other one, making sure he did not overlook anything. He smiled and readied his body for a good workout. These were two evenly matched opponents, who played for keeps. It'd be a bit more fun if someone walked in through the door though. |

"Gravity... chamber... Gravity..." Hibiki murmured, looking back and forth along the path. As usual, the firey-haired teenager found himself lost within the maze that was Anime High School. Though anyone else wouldn'tve considered the school exactly a labyrinth, Hibiki's world-class-worst sense of direction could turn even a trip to the bathroom into a fierce jungle expedition miles away from the intended latrine just down the hall. It was therefore not surprising that someone usually accompanied Belle Hibiki wherever he went, in an effort to keep the possible martial arts prodigy from wandering outside and ending up in, say, India. No such person was with him now, however. He squinted left and right again, small brochure-like map held open in his hands. This 'gravity chamber' stuff sounded like a really... what was the word those kids used? sweet place to train. He tracked his skyblue eyes back to the cirsscrossing lines of the map which seemed to be just getting more complicated over time, rather than more lucid. He shouted at the map, as if that would do any good for him. "Why don't you just tell me where the heck I am, huh?! Stupid fricking fracking piece of-!" He crumpled the map up in his hands, turning around and hurling the wadded ball of paper with all his strength behind him. It sailed through the air in a lazy arc and smacked against the front side of a building. Gravity Training Center Belle stood there, still in throwing pose and blinking at the words scribbled to the side of the door. The silence was only broken by the falling of the piece of paper as it bounced and rolled back down towards Hibiki's foot. The boy didn't quite believe it... But then his lips twisted into a grin. He knew better than to look a gifthorse in the mouth! "Hahaha! I made it! HAH! In your FACE, principal! I can find my way around!" Though I probably would've kept walking on if I kept trying to use the map... Bah! Who cares?! I'm so in there! It took Hibiki a few minutes tofigure out the layout of the building, which he almost certainly would forget a few seconds later. "Leeet's see....leeet's see..." He murmured, looking from one door to the next. Since he wasn't paying attention, one looked pretty much the same as any other. Heheh! That one! Happily, he slammed open the door into Isuo's 'room'. Time to get train- "Wuuuuuh?" He stared blankly as Isuo flew across his field of vision to smack some guy with a flying kick! But even as he closed in, Hibiki could see that it wasn't going to work. His 'intuition' was proved right as a second later the other guy was flat on his back. The boy recovered quickly, and Belle folded his arms. "Heh. Training, huh?" |

Jessica thought it was time to train today since she hadn't in a while. She wanted to be the best when it came to fighting. She wanted to be the most accurate and greates female ass kicker. She walked into the Chambers and noticed the gravity had already be set, not high but just right. She wore a small blue t-shirt that reveled her water goddess tattoo on the right side on her stomach. She also wore jeans that seemed to be ripped with holes in them that had chrome sais on one side. They were made like that, she thought there was no point in ripping holes in her pants when she could buy it like that. Her hair was also down, this time it wasn't brown it was blonde. She looked at the two boys as she continued to walk in. There was no point in waiting for them to finish training so she asked a question. "Hey, nice to see others training then me. Mind if I join?" |

Nuthael looked at the newcomer and then saw another come in through the 'door.' It still felt wired seeing a door open out of pure space and someone walk through. Oh well. He greeted the first newcomer and said, "Hey! My name's Isuo. What's yours?" At this point the big bulky bot walked up and threw a heavy punch towards Isuo. He dodged it deftly and used his opponent's lack of balance to his advantage, pushing to the ground and delivering a knee to the ribs on the way there. "Either of you can add more bots if you want, but try to keep them easy, I havent had a fight in ages." |

Jessica watched Isuo take out the bot and smiled. "The name is Jessica. Nice to meet you Isuo." She looked at the other boy with red hair, "What's yours?" She thought about putting a few more bots in, Jessica loved nothing else then fighting. But when she came in here it seemed she wasn't the only one. Jessica heard footsteps and saw it was her twin sister with some boy. Kammy walked into the Gravity Chambers to show Ootu around, "Here are is the Gravity Chambers." |

Belle smirked slightly, nodding to Nuthael as the boy fought off another guy... He looked towards the 'bots', as the guy called them, wondering why people thought fighting essentially moving dummies was fun. He slowly looked back to Nuthael, giving a loud 'Mmmmm'. "My name's Hibiki!" Belle said his last name, of course, rather than his first. "And if you want a fight, why don't you just fight me, eh Isuo? Eh? C'mon. It'll be fun." Belle felt the ol' blood pumping through his veins, the anticipation of a fight. One man against another! Fist to fist! Body against body! Will against will! To Belle Hibiki, fighting wasn't just a means of self-defense; without he, he felt he would have no life at all. He would be a man without purpose, a man without skills, for whatever Hibiki lacked in other areas he more than made up for in his raw potential in martial arts. And of course, predictable, horribly, some goddamn girl had to come and get in the way. "Holy crap! He spun around, then uttered the words again, louder as he saw who was behind him. "YOU!" He pointed at Jessica, mistaking her for Kammy. "Wha...What are you doing here, eh?! I didn't do nuthin'!" As he spoke, he seemed to be shrinking away from her, taking slow steps backwards towards Nuthael. Was he... afraid... of girls? Or just Kammy/Jessica? "How the heck'd you sneak up like that?" Belle demanded, even though Jessica hadn't really 'snuck up' on anyone, she'd just startled him and he was overreacting yet again in the presence of a member of the opposite sex. |

Jessica gave the boy the wierdest look ever, it seemed like the boy knew Jessica. But Jessica had never met him in her life before. Unless he mistaked her for her twin Kammy. She walked up to the two boys but looked at the red haired one, she just stared at him. Why was he so afraid of her, or was he afraid of Kammy? The whole thing made her head hurt. "What do you mean, what am I doing here? It is the Gravity Chambers isnt it?" The boy was something else alright. "And I didn't sneak...dude I think you have me totally confused with my sister. Because I haven't seen you before IN MY LIFE." She was ready to train and forget about her twin. Her eyes turned dark blue as ice took a form of sais. One in each of her hand. She then just looked at the boy with the most look on her face.

(Sorry, internet troubles.) Ootu followed Kammy in, exactly eight steps behind, a safe distance in case she decided to turn on him. Immediately upon entering he noticed her sister, granted he didn't know for sure, but judging by the replica appearance he could tell they were related. She looked just like Kammy, perfectly, not even the slightest flaw of duplication. He had encountered twins before, fought all of them too, but never before had he seen some that looked this closely together. Ootu shrugged it off, it wasn't anything of importance, just his mind finding something to do to get away from boredom. The gravity was definately different in this place, he felt his body being pulled down towards the ground, but still didn't have must trouble standing up. Twice the gravity he guessed, at least that's what his body felt like. Luckily for him, he was a whole lot stronger than what he weighed. He followed up next to Kammy, standing next to her and keeping his arms folded in front of his chest. "Not bad," he finally spoke for the first time during the whole walk there, "not bad at all." |

Isuo had trouble keeping track of all of these people, and while cincentrating, he got his in the head by one of the bots. He let out a groul when he hit the ground, and lept at him, knocking him over. Before he had the time to get up, though, Isuo got rid of the two bots and returned the chamber to its normal look. The gravity he kept the same, seeing as in his relaxed state he was only just getting used to it. "So what're we gonna do? All on all battle? Or just bring in heaps of bots and kill them all together?" Before waiting for an answer he decided not to waste time in double gravity, and started doing push-ups. |

Kammy was glad Ootu liked the gravity chambers, but who didn't like a place where your able to change gravity and beat on robots. The beating on robots was Kammy's favorit part. She looked at Ootu, "Would you like to stay or would you like to move on ot the villiage?" Jessica looked at Kammy then back to the other two boys, "I don't care what we do, Im up for anything." She also heard her sister talk about the Elemental Villiage and walked over to Kammy and Ootu, "You two are going there? Good luck." "What do you mean by, good luck?" "Well unless the see you friendly then your in trouble. Buh Bye." Then Jessica walked over back to the two boys. |

Ootu's attention perked up at the sound of those few words, "All on all battle." Immediately he turned his attention towards the person who had said it, who by now was already doing push ups. Good, he wasn't one to dawdle and that meant that he wouldn't hold anything back in a fight. Before saying anything, though, he made a quick assessment of the others in the room. Two male students; one who had been fighting when Ootu arrived and the other who had seemed to just be standing there, not much of a fighter in Ootu's opinion. Two female students; Kammy, he knew from what she had told him that she wouldn't get involved unless endangered, but those were usually the worst kind and then finally her sister, he didn't remember her name, but saw that she had the power over ice. Four apparently well balanced fighters, but Ootu would find a way to locate their weaknesses and exploit them, he always did. In one swift motion Ootu flipped his cloak off, allowing it to drop like a rock to the ground behind him. It made a thud, which was acceptable because of the increased gravity. He rolled his head around, cracking his neck in the process, then loosened up his body with a series of quick and complex stretches. Finally, within under a minute, Ootu was fully prepared to do battle. "All on all battle," he spoke up, loud enough to push his voice over the chatter and various other noises of the room. |

Isuo smiled at the prospect of a good fight. By the time Ootu announced his intentions, Isuo had moved onto sit ups, and after completing his set of fifty, he got up, jogged on the spot, cracked his knuckles and did a general warm-up. He changed the chamber to look like a martial arts dojo, feeling that that would be the most appropriate scene, and to throw in an interesting spice to the fight, he lessened the gravity to 1.5. It felt as if he was practically weightless. A smile cut his face, beaming from ear to ear. "All on all fight it is, then. Anyone who does not want to participate feel free to leave." He opened the door, which happened to be in the side of a large roof supporting post, and walked to the center of the dojo. "Let's Go" |

Kammy didn't want to fight, but she didn't want to leave either, so she stood all the way in one corner. She wanted to see how this was going to go. But Jessica on the other hand was happy, she hadn't had a all on all battle for a long time. She twirled her ice sais as she stood in the middle but opposite of Isuo. She smirked, "Alright! About time I show you boys what real ladies can do." Jessica looked back to Kammy and smiled, it didn't suprise her that she wasn't going to fight. Her sister had always been that type since Jessica met her. |

Ootu felt the gravity change immediately as the feeling of fifty pounds was removed from his body. He exhaled slowly, causing his breath to steam amongst the warmth of the gravity chamber. With complete calmness and concentration Ootu made his way into the dojo, his eyes not once moving away from the male student before him. That was until the female student, the ice wielder, enter the fray and his attention was drawn to her briefly. Again he exhaled slowly, this time closing his eyes in the process and focused on the situation. Two targets; the male doesn't appear to be using a weapon, the female is using duel sias' of ice. Hmm.. she will probably the biggest threat until the other draws a weapon. Never faught another ice elemental, could be interesting or could be a disappointment. Nevertheless, we will see if she deserves to have that power or not. Ootu's eyes opened and he reached his left hand across his body, grabbing his right forearm and pulled a scab from it. He pulled three more scabs off of that arm; the palm, knuckles, and wrist. Each time caused him to wince, but it was pain that would be well worth it. "Whenever either of you are ready." |

Isuo smiled. Two opponents. This was going to get interesting. He sent out his heartbeat effect, and heard the life force of the two fighters thumping. He used is third eye to maintain knowledge of the movements of the man, and began to walk towards the girl. The sound of his two opponents reverberated in his head, and he drew the long hunting knife that was hidden under his shirt. Holding it in a back hand fashion, he leapt at the girl, getting ready for a slash to her chest. |

Jessica had already noticed Isuo started but instead of the other guy, she was his target. As Isuo leaped at her, Jessica blocked his attack with her sais. The last thing she wanted was a bloody chest. After that she did a roundhouse kick towards his face, and threw one of her sais at Ootu. Just because Isuo wa attacking her doesn't mean Ootu was out of the picture. Kammy watched as the three faught wondering why Belle was out, or was it maybe that he was afraid of Jessica? She didn't know why he was so afraid of girls, but it was interesting seeing scared. It almost made Kammy giggle. |

Out of the corner of his eye, Ootu noticed the sias being thrown through the air. His thermal vision would have never been able to pick it up had it not been so noticably thrown. Immediately he brought his right arm up and in the blink of an eye a two by two square shield of ice emerged. Ootu tilted up upwards slightly, allowing the sias to bounce off of the slanted area. Just as fast as the shield had been created, Ootu had released it from his arm and replaced it with his blade of ice. The shield fell to the ground with a crash, shattering on impact and sending pieces of ice all around the surrounding area. Ootu moved the ice blade in front of his body, holding it at an angle and sprinted towards the two who were already engaged in combat. He had yet to decide which one he would attack, but at the moment he was only concerned about which one would break away from attacking the other. |

Isuo had expected the attack to be repelled, and used the momentum he already had to dodge the kick, ducking low under it, and threw a swqeep to her other leg. He noticed that Ootu had begun to move, so he stepped back a bit and waited for the three way to erupt in full fury. |

Jessica did a quick but swift backflip away from Isuo. *Your not getting to me that easily.* She then noticed Ootu sprinted at them, she would first wait to see who he was going to attack and use that to her advantage. Kammy stood back there watching them fight, she though they were very impressive. |

((Gargh, sorry about not posting. Between my birthday and people getting ready for college, things have been rather hectic around here.)) Belle remained relatively silent as the scene changed from the outdoors to a dojo; even so, his eyes widened to the size of dinnerplates, his jaw straining to reach the ground as the world seemed to shift around them. He was a simple boy that had lived in the forest! Holograms and technology were so far beyond him that they might as well have belonged to aliens. "Wuh wuh wuh... Huh?" Quiet, Hibiki! Glint. At least that girl isn't on your case anymore! But... twins? Two of those monsters *exactly* the same?! This world... is way more frightening than I thought... At the prospect of a battle royale, his face perked up, and his fists slammed together. Ha! Sweet! I was wondering when they were going to get down to it! This is going to be awesome, I can't wait to see how they fight... Then he stopped being happy. This Jessica girl was going to fight too? He couldn't fight a girl! What was he supposed to do?! He guessed glumly that he would just hang back and watch the other fighters, see if they could take care of her... And if one of them came for him, he'd deal with that bridge once he crossed it. For the moment the strategy seemed to be working. So, one guy that can...uh... make ice, apparently... Got to watch out for him... Some guy with a knife. Man, he looks like he knows how to handle it! And the girl....Looks...agile... Not surprising, he considered, given that she didn't look like she was hugely muscled or anything like that. But then again, in a school such as AHS, one couldn't afford to take things at face value. He slipped slowly into a combat stance, a versatile but nonetheless sketchy form of Anything Goes Martial Arts, watching their every move, considering...evaluating... Hibiki was stupid in almost all areas. But in terms of martial arts... |

It was at that very moment, no more than ten or twelve steps away from the two already engaged in combat, that Ootu noticed a third opponent. The male who had standing around earlier had entered the battlefield. In an impressive display of agility and physical control, Ootu pivoted his body around, skidding across the floor on his left heel, then turned himself completely and bounded towards Belle. His stride was balanced, keeping short swift steps to allow him time to study his target. Ootu placed his blade behind him, almost trying to hide it behind his back, but it was much to big to do that and a good foot of it stuck out from behind. His stance, it almost seems as if its eight wrapped into one. Interesting. Ootu narrowed his eyes and slowly brought his left hand behind him as he ran. With a wince he pulled the blade of ice from his right arm, now making a three foot long javelin in some sorts. With only about twenty feet to go before he was right in Belle's face, Ootu made a leap forward, bringing his left arm back with the blade of ice tight in its grasp. He landed in stride, used all of his momentum and hurled the ice like a javelin towards Belle. |

Shit! I should've known that I wasn't going to get that easy a break...! Belle tensed up as Ootu approached him, taking a half step back and settling farther into his stance. The sheer quickness and agility of his new opponent hadn't escaped Hibiki, but he couldn't just write that off as Ootu's only strength - aside from creating ice, of course - he had to be on the lookout... Ootu leaped, causing Hibiki to 'tsk!' a little between his teeth. What the Hell kind of move was that?! Did Ootu really expect him to forget about the sword in his right- The sword?! The flash of insight, the raw instinct of his abilities were what saved him. His head jerked to the side as the javelin of ice carved through the air, the edge catching him and slicing a shallow cut across his cheek as it flew past, tickling his hair. A few drops of blood hit the ground. Rather than be deterred however, the injury only seemed to throw away all doubt and cautiousness from the red-headed boy. "Damn people an yer using weapons all the time!" Belle cried out, leaping at Ootu as the boy recovered from the jump. "You could've-" he landed! " - really freakin' - " he twisted his body! " - hurt me!" Fueled by the twisting of his body, Belle's punch aimed for inside, low towards Ootu's side. From this distance, it was easy to see the look in Belle's eyes... Something blazed in there, time seeming to freeze for a moment as the warriors' eyes met... |

It all seemed to happen so fast from the moment that he had thrown the javelin towards Belle. This student definately had some skill, at least enough to keep him from getting impaled by Ootu's attack. There wasn't much time to prepare, he was vunerable from his previous assault; a fine mixature of being caught off guard by Belle's reaction time and the momentum of his throw. He was fast, Ootu was maybe a little bit faster, that was the only thing that kept him from getting completely devistated by the punch. Incredible. I didn't expect anything like this from this school. I may have underestimated the strength of the students here. The leap, the twist, it was slow and fast all at the same time. Ootu knew his motions were fluid, synced frame to frame, but he wasn't completely dazzeled by Belle's evasion and movement to be thrown into a defenseless state. He swung his left arm across his body, then his right arm in front of his left, forming an 'X' at the desination of the attack. The impact, the sudden rush of unexpected pain sent a shock through Ootu's arm. He was thrown back, actually being caused to stumble over his own two feet. Ootu recovered, but not before tumbling backwards a few feet, his arms swinging about to regain his balance. Upon recovering he dropped to one knee, rubbing his hand over the length of his right arm, then turning his attention to the already turning bruise. Incredible. It had been some since he had been hit that hard. He felt Belle's rage with that impact, yes, the blood of a fighter. No longer was his mind set on the other two, but on this warrior before him. Ootu stood up fully and dusted himself off. "Excellent. That's what response that I wanted," he wasn't much for words and didn't hesitate a moment to go on the counter attack. Ootu darted towards Belle, his feet making hardly a sound on the ground below. The light weight of his body whistled through the air like a bullet, a bullet that would suddenly strike. He kept his left arm in as a defense, then turned his body and pushed off with his back foot, aiming to place his right elbow directly under Belle's chin. |

Isuo watched the exchange, and then turned to the girl. "Well, it looks like those two are having fun. How about we do the same?" He got into an offensive stance, and readied himself for the fight, tensing and looseing his muscles. Soon, though, he ran forward and threw a feint punch at her, hiding his true attack of a devistating headbutt to her stomach. He set his feet for the spinning motion and watched as she reacted to the punch. |

Jessica smiled, "Sure." She blocked his punch, but she knew he could probably do better. *Or is he hiding something.* She didn't see his headbutt coming and she was sent a couple steps back trying to suck in the pain. When she looked back at him she threw both of her ice sais and aimed one towards his face and one towards his abdomen. She then took out her chrome sais and charged toward him. |

Belle took a few short, panting breaths as Ootu stumbled back, his lips lifting in satisfaction. He really hadn't been expecting the first punch to do so much... Obviously, the guy had underestimated him and he'd caught 'im off guard. Bloody figures, everyone thinks I'm really weak here! "Huhn!" As he watched Ootu recovering, the red-head seemed to take notice that he was actually bleeding a little bit. He lifted a hand up, swiping the back of his palm over the cut... It wasn't serious, which he guessed was lucky. He turned his head back to Ootu to see that the boy was inspecting his injury as well. "Hah! That'll teach you to underestimate me!" he said, seeming almost...jovial that the fight was turning out good. "Come at me with everything you got!" And the boy did. One moment he was there, and the next his form suddenly seemed to blur around the edges. Had Hibiki been more experienced, had he been on guard, he might've been able to block the incoming attack that whistled at him through the air. He was caught flat-footed as the fast guy pulled a disappearing and reappearing act right in his face. "Wha-?!" he managed to get out, his hands starting to move towards Ootu. But it was too late. Even as his hair settled from the rush of wind caused by Ootu's move, the boy's elbow connected with Belle's chin. Sparks seemed to erupt in his vision, blinding him as he was thrown backward, sprawling in a heap. The precise blow had rattled his brain case, he realized... And he berated himself even as the darkness seemed to close in... Belle's body went still; not surprising after the blow he had received. It was perhaps fifteen seconds later, when even the most energetic of fans might've given up hope that he would rise, that he twitched. Twitched again. "Ow..." Hibiki moved his arm, placing it on the ground and shoving himself into a sitting position. His other hand came up to cup his chin, his jaw, rubbing it and wincing in pain as he pulled himself to his feet... "C...crap, man! "That was worse than any of the boulders!" He stood there, slightly unsteady with his head clearing more every second. Man, what a hit! He'd have to remember that one... Time to get back to the fight. "Come on," Hibiki said, settling back into combat position, palm up... He twitched his fingers, making an egging gesture. "Let's do it!" |

Isuo jumped, diving in between the two sais, and then rolled and came up ready. The girl had brought out two more sais, and that was fine with Isuo. He reached behind him and took out a saber which was hidden on his back. Giving it an experimental swing, he grinned at Jessica and attacked. Starting with a thrust, he got ready for the obvious parry and prepared to spin and slash. |

Jessica quickly blocked his attack with the middle of her sais. She used her left sai to block for any incoming attacks, and she used her right one to try and slash him towards his mid stomach area. Kammy continued to watch the fight, she then slid down and sat on the floor. |

Part of Ootu actually thought that Belle would stay down, but he knew that anyone who could deliver a punch like he had would never be able to be defeated by a single attack, let alone a simple blow to the chin. He clenched his fists and watched intently as his opponent finally showed signs of life, then moved into a sitting position, and finally to his feet. A smile, an evil one at that, formed across Ootu's features as Belle readied himself, then egged on Ootu to attack. "Very well," Ootu responded with a slight hint of cockiness in his tone. With that, he began his walk, stepping one leg over the other as he began to encircle Belle. Both of his arms were in the ready position, poised to strike or defend if needed. Ootu watched with unblinking eyes, surveying every twitch or itch, studying his stance and looking for an opening. There. He saw what he believed to be one just below the right arm. It would be a side shot, not as much damage as he would have wished to inflict, but it was damage nonetheless. With his location in mind and his circle almost complete, Ootu put his plan into action. He charged, though not nearly as fast as he had done before, due to lack of running space. When in range, Ootu did somewhat of a juke, faking from his right to his left. He slid across in front of Belle, then crouched down and brought his left fist up with precision and force, aiming directly for Belle's side. |

Right, that's it... Belle thought to himself as Ootu spoke those words in that boasting tone of his. The red-head's fists clenched tighter, the bones making an unpleasant popping noise as he tensed up... A curious thing began to happen, though he was so used to it by now that he hardly noticed what was happening. The air seemed to sharpen in smell, the brush of a breeze across his skin, just faintly stirring the hairs on his arms, were tickling forcefully. He saw every movement of Ootu as if through a blurred lens, his mind racing with the possibilities of what the boy might do, comparing what he had already done, his fighting style, into his guesses. Would he juke? Would he just charge? Or would he try to analyze Belle...? His answer came a second later as Ootu started to circle around him like a buzzard might circle a dying prey. Alright, guy, you want to play it like that...? His strange stance shifted, slowly, almost hesitantly opening up a space to his side. Take it! And Ootu did. It was just the reaction Hibiki had been hoping for ever since he egged Ootu on, to charge, to let him see a little bit more of his moves... And to pay him back for that cut on his cheek once more. But Ootu did something unexpected. He combined the charge with a juke, and Hibiki was momentarily surprised at the quickness of the guy. But not surprised enough. Don't you dare underestimate me...! Hibiki thought angrily, his teeth clenched together as Ootu bagan to slide... Hibiki blurred in a quick movement, his muscles screaming in protest as the suddenly inspired, firey tempered boy doubled over, slamming a finger into the ground. "BREAKING POINT!" The ground exploded underneath them, throwing out a wave of rock and dirt that hammered towards the two fighters. Hibiki didn't bother blocking them; his extensive training in the Breaking Point technique had hardened his body to the impacts so that he barely felt them. This was the key to the boy's toughness, his spirit the secret to his stamina... A dust cloud enveloped them both as the rocks swarmed outward, but Hibiki didn't wait. He roared out and swung a hard right-hook at the space where Ootu had been! |

What in the hell.. Ootu started to ask himself as Belle doubled over and exclaimed the name of his attack. To say the least, Ootu was caught completely by surprise. Never in his wildest imagination did he ever think that this student had the capabilities to pull off such an attack. He had been hit by harder forces, but he had expected those to arrive. This was different, which made it hurt just a little bit more than it should have. Ootu had been caught by surprise of anothers abilities, something that rarely happened, which made this more of a mental pain than physical. Bloody hell.. was all that he could think of at the moment of eruption. He intinctively brought his arms up to cover his face, but faught against that instinct and lowered them, taking the full fury of the explosion. He stared into the dust and debris, his eyes switching to that of thermal vision and he saw Belle as clear as day. Every movement that Belle did behind the cover of dust was seen by Ootu, well, almost every movement. A larger chunk of rock moved up from the ground, going directly towards Ootu's face. He couldn't just simply let this one hit and batted his arm across, knocking off to the side. At the very moment that the rock was batted, Ootu caught the punch coming right towards him out of the corner of his eye. He snapped his left hand up, using his index finger to flick a scab off of his palm as he did, then caught the fist in midair. The impact caused a loud 'thud' to echo throughout the room and Ootu winced slightly as it came in contact with his wound, but it would be well desirved pain. There he stood, bleeding on Belle's fist, staring directly into his eyes as the dust finally settled, a grin on his face. |

(Guess Jess isn't going to post soon...) Belle could feel that Ootu was still there.. The subtle disturbance in the cloud told him that. He seemed to be hypersensitive, hyper-AWARE of everything that was going on, the dust seeming to sear his nostrils as his fist cut through the air like a sledgehammer... Only to be stopped by something very solid. He felt Ootu's arm shake, was rewarded for his efforts with the painful sounding thud and the feeling of blood upon his opponent's hand. The dust slowly settled around them, a small crater under the fighters, locked in their blow... Belle's eyes slightly widened, his teeth gritting together just a little tighter as he saw Ootu's state... Man, this guy was tough! Maybe too tough... Come on, Hibiki, pull it together...! Belle yelled at himself, his pupils shrinking. Never back down from a challenge! Ever! Keep going! Harder... faster... got to do better! He's bleeding now, you've got him on the... Wait... blood?! (Will wait there for Ootu, since I have a feeling he had some kind of trick up his sleeve regarding the blood! Tell me if not, and I'll edit it) |

Ootu could see it in Belle's eyes, the sudden confusion brought on by the sight of Ootu's blood. He knew what he was thinking, because it was the same as all of the others. Why was he bleeding? How could such a punch to the palm cause so much blood? It was the same with just about every fighter the first time they saw Ootu bleed on them. Little did most know, that this usual sign of weakness was Ootu's greatest strength. Blood poured freely from the open wound, covering over the entire area of Belle's hand. The harder Ootu's heart pumped, the more blood that was poured out. Then it happened, the blood began to freeze, not slowly, but almost instantly. Ootu grinned as he balled up his hand, getting an even tighter grip on Belle's. Soon his blood was moving up his arm, freezing every inch of the way. Not wanting this moment of shock and awe to go wasted, Ootu released Belle's hand, then drew that exact same hand back, the one already encased in ice, and sent a hard left hook towards Belle's face. Despite having a good two inches of ice on his fist, the punch still made one hell of a whistling noise as it shot through the air. This manuever was not so much an offensive attack or a defensive attack, it was more of a diversion. To make Belle think so much about his hand, that he wouldn't notice the fist coming at him. I've got you now, you rock breaking son of a.. Ootu's thoughts trailed off as his fist drew closer to Belle's face. (A short one, sorry, but I didn't want to power play your character too much.) |

Belle's suspicion was confirmed, though he didn't feel in any way happy that he had been vindicated. As his hand began to freeze over he started to curse, trying to yank his fist away, feet digging into the ground and slipping as the recently loosened dirt slipped under him. "T...Tsk! Sonofa...!" He managed to get out, feeling his arm turn suddenlt numb as the ice moved up it. He began to wonder just what he would do if Ootu decided to go all the way and freeze his entire body... Would he even survive? But Belle needn't worry about that. Even with his instincts, he barely got a hint of what was happening before Ootu's fist connected with his face, sending the boy sprawling backwards with another short tumble through the air. Landing in an unceremonious heap, he breathed heavily a few times, staring up at the sky as his mind caught up to what had happened... And he began to laugh. "Oh man, that was good!" He got out between fits, sitting slowly up and flexing his arm tight with a pain expression, bringing his fist up to shatter the ice. He looked at Ootu as he stood, still slightly shaking, more enthralled than ever before in the grand battle that had unfolded. Man... What a hit! And that trick... Heh! He blocked me even through all the dust... Belle's fingers twitched. Does that mean he has some special vision? Let's try it! "One more time!" He yelled as he sprinted towards Ootu! Once he judged that he was close enough, his legs tensed and he jumped AT Ootu...! But apparently too short. The red-head was sailing through the air, his bright blue eyes incredibly focused, but he was being pulled down to the ground right in front pf the ice user. All to his plan, of course. His fist blurred before he hit ground, the floor exploding in yet another shower of Breaking Point debris! Belle rolled as he felt the explosion under him, reaching down and sweeping his hand across the shattering earth, grabbing up one of the many rocks that now flew outward. Let's see if you can see THIS! he thought, completing his roll and hurling the fist-sized rock with all his strength at where Ootu had been before the dust engulfed them! |

What exactly was this kid and where did he come from? It wasn't everyday that people could go toe-to-toe with Ootu, especially when he was using his powers. This student definately was a tough one. He could take a hit and keep on coming, in fact, he was even laughing after the last one Ootu placed on him. To say the least, this gesture made Ootu's eye twitch slightly. Was Belle mocking him? Trying to make Ootu see that no matter how hard he hit him, that he would also just laugh it off and get back up? "Bastard," he grumbled under his breath as Belle broke his arm through the ice. Next time he was going to stick a blade right through his forehead, that would shut him up. However, next time was not going to be right away, as Belle charged him, jumped at him, then used his technique again. Breaking Point, yes, that was what he had called it. A decent technique, not so much one that was going to do a tremendous amount of damage, but damage nonetheless. Ootu did the same as last time and took the full force of the impact, causing him to slid backwards across the ground slightly, but he still kept his eyes trained forward, watching Belle's movements. Well, he was watching Belle's movements up until a great deal of debris shot up in front of his face. Ootu was forced to shield his eyes, not needing them to be damaged and his main defense destroyed. It was only for a second, maybe even less, that Ootu had his forearm over his eyes. That moment was just enough for Belle to move, perform an action, then hurdle a chunk of rock at Ootu. There was little time to react, let alone do anything but watch it barrel down upon him. The rock slammed into Ootu's stomach square on, causing him to release a stream of air and give a loud 'ugh.' He stumbled backwards, bringing his arms down and pressing them against his stomach. It felt as if Avious had punched him again, but it lacked the burning sensation afterwards. What an impact, what a throw, that was what raced through Ootu's head. His body couldn't stand anymore and he dropped to one knee, gasping for air as if he had been underwater for hours. He gritted his teeth, winced in pain, the rose to his feet with shaking legs. Dammit that stings. He thought to himself as he took in a few deep breaths. It did appear, though Ootu would never admit it, that they were at a basic stalemate. For every attack Ootu landed, his opponent would counter and land one, and vice versa. The idea of this made him growl under his breath. He looked towards Belle, balled up his hands into fists and took a fighting position. Ootu wasn't going to attack, at least not yet, he wanted Belle to see his pain, see it as a weakness and try to exploit it and that would be the time when Ootu would destroy him. "Bring it." |

"Bring it." Those two words sounded so simple. And yet, to Hibiki, they meant so much. Bring it. Bring it all, bring everything you have to the table, show them what you're made of. The words his father had used while training him in the mountains in China, looking at him across an expanse of dirt and rock after showing him the Breaking Point technique. Challenging him to come forward, to come on, to prove himself to him, that Belle really was his son... That Belle really was his mother's son... Bring it! Belle thought, feeling a fresh surge of determination surge through him, revitalizing him... Nothing had changed. This was just the same as ever! Whether it was some guy making fun of his name, some stupid pregnant girl that he had to protect, or the most deadly martial arts secret in the world, he could no more back down from those than backing down from the challenge thrown at him right then. Ootu didn't seem to have been able to block Hibiki's rock strike... Did that mean the boy indeed did have some kind of special vision that enabled him to see Hibiki but *not* anything else within the cloud? "Yatta..." Hibiki muttered, straightening himself and swinging out his arms. Ootu was feeling the blows, Hibiki could see it in his stance... But if what had just happened was part of Ootu's regular skill, the boy was likely to just be faking his weakness to get an advantage over Hibiki, trick him into another one of those traps... Hibiki's fingers flexed on his arm, the one still freezing from the cold that Ootu had subjected it to. We're even blow for blow, but he's taking more damage... But he keeps getting these plans that almost instantly do me in! I've got to think of something... Something fast, something good! Something that he won't expect-... Belle's pupils seemed to narrow again, shrinking so that the black point was only the merest dot, the sky blue of his shining brightly in the light, looking beastially focused. "Come on, let's go!" Hibiki shouted, lunging! He ploughed to the side at incredible speed in a wide circle around Ootu, begging his tough body for more, imploring, feeling as if he were about to take off into the sky, his feet felt so light... This Ootu guy's way of moving sure was different. For that's what he was doing. Hibiki's form was too incomplete on its own to seriously contend with the higher ranks... Perhaps intentionally, perhaps simply born out of his intensity in battle, Hibiki copied the way his opponents fought, the way they moved, to cover up his own weaknesses, filling in the 'holes'. Like a bullet, the redhead streaked around Ootu, hoping that the boy would try to follow him with his eyes... No doubt Ootu wouldn't have trouble following him. It was the circle that was important! "Ungh!" It was time! Belle's face turned to Ootu, he let his feet land softly, his knees bending... Time seemed to slow to an absolute standstill as Belle seemed to come to a stop, continuing to bend lower... lower... His knees stopped, the boy looking like he was a track runner pointed right at Ootu, still skidding sideways... And then his finger impacted the ground at his feet. In that same slow motion, the ground underneath Belle's feet exploded as, with timing that should've been impossible for anyone so ordinary, someone so unbelievably basic, he pushed off with his feet! Faster than a bullet, pushed along by his strength and the sheer force of the explosion, Hibiki was launched at Ootu, who he'd hoped to have confused and dizzied with his circular run. "HIBIKI-" Belle screamed at the top of his lungs, his recently numbed fist out in front of him! "-RAGING FIRE BULLET!" He swung...! |

In every way possible, Ootu was caught completely by surprise with Belle's new tactic. It was flawless, perfect, it was his own fighting style and this opponent was going to use it against him. His style had not been taught to him, nor had it been seen done anywhere else in the world to Ootu's knowledge, but somehow Belle knew it just as well as Ootu did. He clenched his fists tighter, feeling the blood squirt through his fingers. This wasn't what Ootu had expected when he started this bout. It was supposed to be an easy victory, one that would make this opponent realize what true power was, but now, it seemed that Ootu was beginning to realize it. He watched Belle's movements with eyes, pivoting around in his single position, keeping up with ease to Belle's pace. This would be the first time Ootu had ever had to defend against his technique, almost as if he would be fighting a mirror image of himself. Ootu began to make his blow flow again, contemplating on whether or not to strike Belle down with the blade or continue keeping this fight as close to fair grounds as possible. Though a cold hearted monster, Ootu still had morals when it came to fighting. What in the hell is he trying to do? Make me dizzy? Fool, doesn't he think that I know what my own technique will do? His mind shouted out to him and Ootu stopped his spinning, became perfectly still and watched Belle only when he came around to eye view. Then he heard it, Belle stopping and connecting with the ground, it was happening all so quickly, yet at the same time so slow. Ootu knew the attack was coming, just not how it was going to be performed. Had he been anyone else, there would have been no way for him to turn around in time to even begin to defend. He pivoted around with all of his speed, going in what seemed to be the same slo-motion as Belle was doing. "Err," he grumpled out as the blood in his fist began to pour out, covering his fist in a thick layer of ice. Ootu was halfway around when Belle used his Breaking Point technique again, propelling himself at Ootu with tremendous speed. No. There would be no time to defend against this attack, Ootu could see that. No matter what he did, Ootu was going to take the hit and it was going to hurt. So, if Ootu was going to be struck, then he was going to place the hardest hit on Belle that he could muster. Using his momentum from the turning, Ootu drew his fist back with tense muscles, concentrating all of his strength into this next and possibly final blow. He gritted his teeth, flexed his muscles, then in a sudden burst of amazing speed, Ootu blasted his punch forward. Perfect unision, that's what people would have said if they saw Ootu and Belle striking at one another. Belle's punch would connect squarely on Ootu's jaw, but at the same time, if he was unable to defend, Ootu's ice layered punch would connect squarely on his. The punch smashed against Ootu's jaw, causing his body to jerk and his head to snap backwards. Just like being hit by a train, Ootu was flung backwards, hit the ground, bounced off, then landed a few feet farther down. He laid there, a red mark already glowing on his face, and his body twitching from the impact. Battered and bruised he laid there, wincing in unimaginable pain. "Damn," he managed to get out under his breath, "what hole did this kid crawl out of." |

It was strange, indeed, that sight he came to ponder when he opened the door to the gravity room. There was the biting scent of earth in the air, with a hint of moisture tinged with a chilled breeze. The floor had been cracked in places, and around the two magnificent fighters, signs of brutality could easily be seen. Dust upon the floor had been cleaved through in odd patterns, quick footsteps swiping it whichever way it went, and the displacement of the even more odd rocks suggested that they'd been tossed around quite a bit. "Heh..looks a lot like the gravity chamber I used to fight in after Eli got through with me.." The words were soft, and almost assuredly never made it to the ears of the battle-embedded men. He remained on the outskirts of the place, though, sidestepping along the wall. A metallic whoosh sounded as the door closed to his left, most likely announcing his arrival. Arata's instinct was to begin stomping, to prepare himself for a fight...and yet, he didn't want to have a predisposition within any match that could come his way. Perhaps the thing that was most odd, however, was that he never seemed hindered in any way. No testing of the gravity, walking as smoothly from Earth Gravity into double with no obvious effect. This was, of course, because Arata was used to training under a much more substancial gravitational environment. Still, the boy was limber; and that's what he was: a boy. Some might call him a teenager, but sixteen years wasn't long enough for anyone to actually proclaim him as a man. And indeed, he had boyish features; black hair spiked short, perhaps two inches max, the tips ending in a platinum hue. And those his arms, exposed by the black sleeveless gi top he wore were rippling with lean muscles, there was a touch of...chubby...in his definition. Just the way his face looked, so unnaturally lean on a body that had been so much larger, tipped the scales from regularity to abnormality. Consequentially, the way he gazed upon the fighters would be even more out of place than those strange, strange eyes of his. Arata looked at them as if they were..pupils? "It's odd, Arata, how you no longer view people as potential candidates for your campaigns.." Again, a whisper, self-soliciting. He sat himself down about four feet from the corner of the room, to the right of the doorway, back along the wall. No stretches, no preperation; all of that had been done long before, during the morning hours, when the sun's kiss was still being desired by the foilage of the school garden. "Heh.." |

Ootu was a strangely clear figure, almost glowing in his otherwise blurred vision as Hibiki plunged like a bullet, screaming through the air with all the force of a rocket. His wild hair was pushed back, more than ever like a raging flame as it was caught in the wind, his eyes unblinking as the wind seemed to sear across them, making them glitter with wetness. He felt like he was aware of every molecule of dust scraping across his face, aware of every scent that roamed in the simulated outdoors which had always been more home to him than anything, aware of every little detail of the world around him. Had he been asked at that very instant, he felt he could've told you how many blades of grass were in view. He saw Ootu's arm flex, and for an instant the world stood still. What...? No! BAKA! His jaw tensed as he saw the blood on the hand. Don't you dare! It was too late to slow his movement, impossible to dodge as he was literally sailing through the air after his launch. He felt an icy chill run through his body as he realized that there was absolutely nothing he could do to avoid what Ootu was going to do. Can't stop..! The two men's teeth gritted, their eyes both filled with their determination to win, hurtled unavoidably to their final clash! Belle continued his movement on raw instinct, on the part of his mind that was so focused on fighting that nothing, not even the end of his life, could put a stop to it. His eyes trembled, taking in Ootu's body, his stance, the cock of his arm... HIS ARM! Hibiki roared like an animal as he sent his fist raging forward, connecting with Ootu's jaw with all the strength he could muster. He felt ice raze across his chin, cutting a thin scratch across his lower chin before the ice-wielding boy was sent flying away from him. Ootu's body hit the ground just as Belle's feet did. There was another bounce, and then absolute silence. Belle panted heavily, sounding slightly ragged as he swayed on the spot. Through sheer force of will and stubborness he forced the pain of his aching body from his mind, flexing the fingers of his hand experimentally. Good, nothing broken... But the cut... He raised his hand, wiping across the slightly bleeding injury. That was the second one to his face he'd gotten in this damn fight! Sheesh! Well, maybe the guys back at Suzaku wouldn't make fun of him and call him 'pretty' anymore... He heard a few sounds, glancing over with a soft "Huh?" Ootu looked in bad shape after the punch. Damn, maybe I should've taken it a little easier... Hibiki thought without any real sense of guilt. He watched Ootu wince from pain for a few moments, going over the fight in his mind... A slight wind picked up, sweeping a lock of the blood-red hair across Hibiki's incredibly clear eyes. "That was a good thought, at the end. You almost had me," he said calmly, dabbing a little more of the blood off his chin. It would probably stop bleeding in a few minutes... "I thought I was done for. But this saved me." He helf up a fist, his lips slightly tilting in a smile. "D'ya get it? "Height!" Hibiki grunted, lowering his arm. "There's almost a full foot of difference in height between us, and my arms are longer. That kinda tactic is good against someone your size, but against someone bigger than you your arms are shorter and you have to punch up, which just makes it worse." Hibiki sighed, the silence seeming to stretch on as he let the impact of those words set in. His eyes watched Ootu for another few moments before turning around. "It was a good fight though... I haven't had one that exciting in ages. We've got to do that again sometime, no holds barred! But now I gotta get back, or Yayoi is gonna be freakin' annoying..." The red-head started forward, only to suddenly come to a halt at the sight of Arata. "...Eh? What the Hell're you chuckling at, weirdo?" Hibiki asked, feeling somewhat impatient now that the fight was over. Sheesh! He just wanted to go lay down and there this dumbo was... "Who the heck're you?" |
