Ootu, with all of his skills and all of his techniques, had been beaten. He laid there, collecting what Belle had just told him about the height difference. Sure, it had made a difference in the end, but Ootu should have never of let it get that far. In his mind he cursed himself, critizing his every movement during the battle. For the first time in nearly a hundred years, Ootu had met defeat. Not to Avious or one of his thugs, but to a simple student.

Damn you, Ootu, damn you for being so weak. He told himself.

How could he have lost? He had the upper hand in the beginning, completely dominating Belle from the get-go, but now here he laid, wincing on the floor with the winner walking around like the fight never happened. How could he have lost? That question still plaqued him greatly. Ootu had it in the bag, but no, at some point he lost it, but when and where?

"Dammit," he grumbled as he rose up into a sitting position, "damn it all."

Now there was only one thing left for Ootu to do. Train. That's all that he could do now. He had lost, accepted that now, and it was time for him to move on. He would get stronger, fight Belle again, and kill him. Yes, he would kill him so that he could not brag about his victory any longer. Ootu growled under his breath and stood up slowly, rubbing his chin with a cupped hand as he made his way out of the gravity chamber.

"Oh, I'll see you again. You can count on that."

"Hah. Post-combat adrenaline. Sweet, really, that you put so much into yourself." Arata looked up from his knees, a grin still touching the corners of his lips. Strange eyes stared from out of the boys face, violet hues, tinged with the most gangrene green, and all with that softly luminescent cross of gold painted about his iris'. The boy was good; very good. To make such a split-second realization and have ample time in the two seconds it had taken for the other fighter from launch to possible connection to complete the action required.

"My name's Arata Atimoto. You probably don't know me; I've been here at the school for a while."

Whilst his voice was untouched, pure of concern, pity, or praise, he couldn't help but just shrug. "You're a decent fighter. Both of you are, really. Such a shame you couldn't have been with Relen, Eli and I when we traversed the planes. The war would have had a hell of an effect on you two."

Hands on his knees, he rose to his full five feet and eleven inches, unimpressive, but still formidable. Arms lacing together acrossed his chest, the boy leaned his weight back against the wall. "I suppose you're both tired after that little squabble. Perhaps your dormrooms and a nice soft bed would suit you both better than this place. After all, only the big boys can play the real games."

The speech was not meant to be entirely cruel; enough so that both of their prides could be hurt equally, and they would probably gripe and moan about him together for a while after that. That would be better than some pety-bullshit drama involving a spar that ended the wrongly to a prideful teen.

In the end, Arata was still a kind person; but, through time spent with his companion, he'd been taught that the only real way to make a first impression was to get respect. Even the unimpressive anger from one of the kids would be a show of respect.

"Need me to show you to the hospital wing?" Even as he spoke, a chuckle bubbled lightly to the surface, and lilted it's way to the ears of the fighters.

Belle Hibiki

Eh?

Hibiki glanced behind him as he heard Ootu getting up from the ground. The guy was tough, he had to give him that... It probably would've taken Hibiki as long to get up and start moving around himself, and hibiki trained by having large boulders smashed into his body over... and over... and over again. He felt himself slightly grumbling at the memory, his skyblue eyes narrowing and his lips twisting into a scowl that only deepened as Ootu made his exit. If there was one thing he couldn't stand, it was people who took losing so freaking personally. He considered reaching out and calling to Ootu, but he clamped his mouth shut. It wasn't his business or responsibility.

Heh, yeah, that's right! People have to grow up on their own! Hibiki grinned foolishly, folding his arms on the spot and almost seeming to...sparkle with smugness. I'm mature!

It took perhaps a few seconds for him to remember that he wasn't alone in the room anymore. With not even the other girl and that guy who had been fighting, it was hard for even Hibiki to not notice. He blinked at the man's words, his face growing more puzzled and irritated by the second, rather like a child's. Alternate planes? So what, this guy flew around a lot? He was probably a snooty businessman or something, then. Belle *hated* snooty businessmen almost as much as he hated flowery language, complicated math and cloudy nights. And then, of course, Arata had to go and say 'it'.

"Big boys?!" Belle twitched violently, trying his best to restrain himself. He wasn't very successful; trying to control his emotions was like trying to put up a tripwire to stop a train. "Oi oi! What're you trying to say, Weirdo-san? You think I'm not good enough, huh?! I bet I could play the real games! I bet I could- agh!" For Hibiki had just tensed up, sending a lancing pain through his abdomen where earlier he had been struck more brutally. The one miscalculation that Arata possibly had made was this: that Hibiki did not gripe, Hibiki did not moan. If Ootu was determined to fight Hibiki again, the red-head would gladly meet him in battle, do or die, no matter what the other boy's motivations were... Because Hibiki's were clear. He just loved to fight.

"No, I don't need the frikkin' frakkin'-" Insert random grumblings here while Hibiki was slightly bent over, one hand on his chest and the other wiping another trail of blood from his chin. "-hospital wing. I can handle it." He slightly glowered at Arata, as if daring him to challenge the assertion! "After all, I'm a big boy, I can take care of myself.

"B-... ... Hibiki,"
Belle finally said grudgingly, cursing himself for almost giving away his real first name... Martial Arts Masters, he *hated* that name! Beauty? BEAUTY?!

"Eh, sure. I'll be in the next room if you want to stop by within the next couple of hours, kid." One G just wasn't enough for him to be training in, and since these boys were pretty much finished, Arata took that time to exit the chamber. "Crazy how fast those kid's'll grow up."

Jessica was sent to the ground after Isuo launched his body at her. She took a couple of deep breaths and did a backflip off of the ground and looked at Arata. *Did he just call us kids? Or was he just referring to the boys, because if he was I could care less.*

She looked at Hibiki and chuckled. "O yeah..your a REAL big boy. You should of let him show you to the nurse's office, it looks like you really need it."

Kammy hurried up to Hibiki, "Are you alright? You seem to be bleeding and st-.." Before Kammy reached to him a thick wall of ice appeared infront of her and stopped her from getting to him.

Jessica looked at Kammy with her dark blue eyes. "Kam chill for a sec, he's fine. And plus if you get any closer to him he might pee in his pants, he seems to be afraid of us." Jessica then chuckled as she took her concentration back to Isuo.
