(Since I am on the other side of the world right now, I won't be able to post as often as I would like. Please understand. I will try to post when I can.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drip drop drip drop. Radpily it sounded. The rain poured down violently until through the silent night. Each small speck of water colided into the ground with a mighty splash. Drip drop splash crash! From within the dark allies, the sounds of the busy huss and fuss of the red light district could barely be heard in the background. There were no neon lights, or flashy signs to lure lusty men into strip bars. There were no hookers, there were no restuarants, only the the odor of garbage cans loomed. Deep in the ally is an entrance to an old warehouse where even older supplies laid waiting for usage. THe crusty rusty walls of the building seemed to be magically erected. Even in it's ancient, tattered state it still support the roof.

"Please! Someone help me! Somebody?! Help me?! ...someone.. ...please... .." A woman's voice called out from the dark corner of the deserted building; stricten with fear, exhaustion, and dread. She was a young teenage girl tied down to an old wooden chair with barbed wire. She breathed with stressed puffed and huffed from screaming for several days. Her once crisp AHS school uniform was now ripped and dirty; filled with the filth of days without bathing. She began to weep as she did so many times during the many days of abandonment. Even her tears were filled with dirt; scum from her sweaty cheeks slipping into each salty drop before dropping from her chin. Her body was weak and her mind was at the point of breakage. She had no name, or at least, no name mentioned when she was taken hold by a dark figure and brought to this deserted part of Kabuki-cho. Deserted may have been the wrong term. This area was often passed, however, due to the building's frame, any sounds of agony would never reach ears for rescue. "...Please....Oh God...."

Click. Something small hit the floor. The AHS student lifted up her head in a frightened gasp. She held her breath and looked around the dark area, but her human eyes was insificient for nightly sight. Then a small spark aroused beside her. A candle on the floor flickered off to the left as a small ghostly pale face emerged from the pitch blackness; veiled in long, lustrious raven hair that seemed apart of the darkness itself. It was a face of a small girl; about nine or ten years old. She was Sin; hier vampire to Lord Kaie. She giggled as she stepped closer to the woman who watched in half astonishment half, fear. Sin's giggles were far to filled with insanity for Sin to be labeled a savior. Only when the pale child spoke did the female student realize that the child would not help her and that she was in far more danger then she originally was.

"You're crying... and the the air turns pink and sings of little doggies... Woof... woof... says the doggie... he wants to play.... Do you... want to play... with me?... We could have a tea party and eat scones and talk about what we are going to do last year... like doggie says... " The small white child said in a solf british accent as she fluttered her hands in front of her face and twiddled her fingers in a playfully frantic pandimonium. She bagan to softly sing off melody to a song that never once held the same lyrics. Her smiled reveal her star-white fangs. She was a vampire; that was obvious to the AHS teen now. More tears rolled down the student's face as she watched the little demon sway back and forth in an unrythmic slow dance. Sin's black lacey dress flowed and dragged on teh floor as she spun around and then drifted closer to the teen. "Daddy says I mustn't make a mess while he's away... You're very pretty...and daddy says I shouldn't eat too many sweets... or...else I'll ruin my supper...hehehe... but...I won't tell him... if you don't tell him.... Shhhh... It'll be our little...secret..."

Sin smiled and giggled happily; her laughs were soft, cute, but totally insane. Her british accent rang with every pronouciation; words rippling with her homeland. She press closer to the teen which caused the student to scream out once more. This made the child vampire flinch and step back; covering her ears and slowly shaking her head left and right in a crazed snake like dance. Her eyes widen as she pouted to the ground. She look up with quivering lips as she placed her hands down.

Naughty... naughty girl... gave me such a fright... you mustn't be so loud... Nch nch nch,, Bad...girl... We must make you hush like a good girl." Sin reached into her pocket and removed a long, old needle and a small ball of fishing twine. The girl gave a fearfully shocked gasp as she pursed her lips together as if annoucing her obedience. Sin giggled happily once more as she tilted her head and eyes her eyes in a dreamy state. She slowly traced her own lips with the old needle as she hummed to herself. She whispering laughter seeped into the air as she stepped up to the student and placed a hand on the girl's cheek. The girl pulled away as she made a paniced squek sound.

"Your hands are like ice." The girl said in fear; making the whole situation seem cliche. Sin tilted her head and stared at the girl like a mother does with her sick child. The female vampire began to hum the same off tune melody to the girl as she cooed at the teen; running her hands down the girl's hair.

"...ice... I saw a boy frozen once... pretty eyes staring up at me from beneath the lake... and he was blue... his tiny arm broke when I pulled him out... gave his eye a lick I did... Vanilla ice cream with fear sprinkled on top... ... I can still taste him..." The vampiric child's lips quivered as she licked those pale strips of pouty flesh. As if the very memory brought back the pleasent taste. Her porciline skin curved with her smile as she gripped the teen's chin firmly and began her work. The needle was pushed against the student's mouth as the teen screamed out. The needle forces through and pulls the long dirty string after it. Again the needle curves up and forces through. The teen gripped the chair in agony as the barbed wire around her arms dug into her flesh. Her screams lasted for almost an hour. SIn was never very good at sewing and it was much more difficult with the girl moving about so rudey while Sin tried to finish. Many times the child would have to clip the string and start over, but she was proud of her handy work when it was finally complete. The teen student's mouth was sealed tightly. Sin looked dully though at the girl who had now passed out from fear, pain, and exhaustion. The vampire pouted in disappointment as she backed away and stared at the large stains of blood that had poured down the AHS student's front.

Sin dropped the needle as she rubbed her small tummy. Her father kaie had taken longer then she had hoped and she was starting to grow hungry. She looked at the passed out girl. Sin once again sang to herself as pressed forward and sat down on the teen's lap; face to face. It wasn't like her to feed when her meal was unconcious, but the pain in her belly had made the decision. Sin pursed her tiny lips around the teen's neck and bite into. The warm blood rushed into her mouth and she happily swollowed. It only took her a few minutes to drain the student. When she had finished she pulled away slowly and smacked her lips together to taste any blood left over in her mouth. Sin quivered at the newly stolen warmth within her as she hugged the dead corpse and pressed her face into the student's dead shoulder. She began to hum to herself as she waited for Kaie's return.

In the few months he had been at AHS Zorl never left the safety of the lake or for that matter the campus. He tried on occasion to venture out but in the end he ran into the same problem, without a close-by source of water he quickly became dehydrated. Zorl would swin in the lake and meditate at the hot springs yet he wanted to do more, he wanted to explore this new world and as fate would have it one miraculous day water fell from the heavens. Although he had experienced this phenomenon before in South Africa it would seem that in Japan it was a rare occurence and Zorl felt it wrong to waste this opportunity. So with his trusty spear made for a great white's tooth strapped to his back and a long purple hooded rode covering his fishy form he left for parts unknown.

Of all places to first visit Zorl found Kabuki-Cho to be the most interesting to say the least. What with its friendly women dressed in tight clothing and kind men asking to come see something called an 'XXX Revue' in exchange for yen it seemed like a wonderful place, although he did find the man selling used undergarments to be quite odd. After entering a place where men gathered to consume vast amounts of a light brown liquid he was assured by what one man called a 'drunken asshole' that drinking this substance would help his troubles go away.

Spending what little he had on beer Zorl stumbled out of the bar and into a group of trashcans. Hoisting himself up he in a drunken stupor wandered into a place in-between two large homes. Zorl trotted one for atleast ten minutes weaving in and out of different alleyways when he saw something in the distance. Curious he stepped further ahead looking a what seemed to be just a great big black lump, that is until the lightning came. Instantly it illuminated that alley showing the black lump for what it really was. A small girl lying on the lap of another who was sitting, he thought they were asleep as he came closer he saw something that sobered Zorl right up.

Both girls looked pale as if they never once saw the light of day but something was different about them, the one sitting looked cold and coming still closer he saw her bound and on her limp neck two small round puncture wounds.

"What has happened here?"

Zorl reached out from beneath his robe and spread his webbed hand tightly around his spear antcipating an attack.

Camille was just an average college student, young, lanky and naïve. She was so naïve she didn't think that anything could possibly happen and why should she? This wasn't Kabuki-cho where such horrible things happened. Something wicked lurked just behind her though, something she couldn't put her finger on it was just some eerie spirit that floated behind her. Haunting wasn't it? To be chased by something you could not see, hear or even imagine? You just could feel it.

It had started out as a casual stroll but soon enough the urge to feed grew out from inside, it took only a little while to fins a suitable specimen to feed from. Oh it didn't matter to him, Kaie would eat from a bum on the street but for Sin only a fine meal would do. It would have to be young, supple and bright after all you are what you eat so for his daughter only the best would do. So he followed from the park this young specimen, most likely a student from Tokyo University though her high hemline would project a much different look for a profession. The difficulty wasn't slaying her, he could do that at any time but he had to take her alive, alive enough that the warm blood would stave off the hunger growing in his little girl, his darling and ever so precious Sin.

So Kaie moved in the shadows as either himself or as a waft of mist spread out so much that one wouldn't even feel the coldness of his presence in any form or lack there of. Eventually she stopped to tie her shoe bending over when a force more decadent then Kaie reached out, touched the girl and licking her ear pulled her into the alley. Kaie followed his invisible eyes taking in the scene is flowing river of a body coming close causing a light dew to form on the back of the new attacker's neck. He was doing the hard part; he placed a gag over the girl and had tied her up with rope preparing who knew what to do to her. Did this make Kaie the hero? Saving this girl from a torturous demise? Or did that make him even crueler to give a girl hope by doing away with her attacker before forcing a bloody fate on her.

He screamed, the new man screamed as the mist went inside him, down into his lung and began to solidify Kaie's hand ripping it apart from the inside like an impossible knife. He hit the ground and the mist was forcibly removed from his body forming about the wrist of a now visible purple haired boy his monstrous appetite was far worse then what the man was after. He didn't torture the man anymore, he was old, bald, a businessman during the day. Too old and corrupt to touch Sin's pallet, Kaie lifted up the elderly man with one hand and twitched it making his neck crack and the man's spinal column to disconnect from each other. He was thrown into the dumpster like oh so much used trash and Kaie lifted the girl up off the ground her restrained body twisting and turning, squirming to get free.

"Don't worry dear, I do not take you for my own vice. The pleasures of the flesh do not interest me but my daughter starves for what is inside you." He hefted the girl over his shoulder though she was no weight compared to what he normally carried his coffin, once inseparable from his person now rested not in his house of tattered and rotting flesh stretched across bone but in Dem's keep the immortal master suggesting that Kaie walk without it in his attacks. So he hefted the girl over his shoulder and using that oh so important vampire strength jumped from the side of the alley way again and again his sleek boots barely finding enough friction from the disgusting moss that polluted the wall. With the meal for his new family safe in his arms he ran, ran like, not the devil himself, the devil wouldn't scare anyone like Kaie. It was like a tidal wave of burning fire was following the boy the haste in his eyes didn't show as his breathless body rushed across the roofs until he found his way into Kabui-cho where his darling little daughter and he had parted ways so he could hunt.

Soon it was too much, the hunger inside his belly was growing to a proportion he couldn't stand. Now he couldn't eat the entire women no, then Sin wouldn't have a meal. Sin the darling little beast that he had passed his immortal curse on to, the one little creature that could carry on his blood in case he suffered the final death that all immortals really feared. Yes immortals and fear in the same sentence, few things could cause an immortal to think of fear but losing their own immortality would shock any monster as it would a human. For an immortal monster like Kaie an attempt at mortality wouldn't come from beasts, warriors or anything that stalked the night but a man, a real living and breathing warrior who might someday tear down his home's walls and slay his servants, and when that time comes he could only hope that Sin and perhaps even her own brood would be there to help protect Kaie as he was here for her now.

Here for her and yet going to steal portions of her meal. Kaie had pushed the beast back for too long his inner nature wanting to come out more and more even if it was just for a quick snack. So he stopped on the rooftops nearing his childe and set the girl down next to an upward pointing section of wall, long ago shot and torn to pieces by an earthquake and filled with bullet fragments from an already forgotten mob war. The moon over their heads must have covered him in some ghastly glow his hat pushing his purple tendrils making them glow with ethereal light. Long slender and pale fingers touched her face the girl's dark brown eyes going wide with fear. Fear the one thing that Kaie absolutely loved, it was the one thing he had always lusted after, some men wanted power, some wanted respect, some wanted love either physical or emotional but power was fleeting, respect meant nothing in the end, and love? Physical didn't work with him anymore his body just wasn't made for it anymore and emotional? All his attempts at that kind of thing not only failed leaving the world with more and more enemies for him leaving him wanting only fear.

She would have screamed, would have cried to the heavens for help but the gag in her mouth placed by the now dead degenerate prevented it all from happening. Her blood pumped through her veins so fast it sounded like her heart was a jackhammer sending the loving red fluid all across her body. It was like music to his ears, the jack hammer heart was like the drums giving a constant rising beat, her ragged breathing from those flared nostrils was an accompanying guitar and the squirming on the rooftop, the cotton clothing scrapping against concrete and broken glass perhaps this is what all those people in the world truly meant by the symphony of the night, the death rattles of someone too young to die so another cruel beast could walk beneath the moon.

With one hand on her shoulder and one hand digging into that lovely dark hair pulling the head away and exposing the tender flesh of her neck, the tender pink untouched flesh. His fangs extended as he opened his mouth giving the girl one final shock before they pierced her neck, a small trail of blood began to fall across her skin but Kaie's mouth quickly covered it. Her eyes rolled back in her head lost in this dark kiss but it was not from pain, the saliva that coated the monster's fangs wasn't your normal bacteria carrying disaster but an enzyme in which pleasure, more pleasure then the woman could ever receive from any natural physical act. Her muffled screams were no longer of fear but from something else that Kaie had not heard since his younger days when love was still a possibility.

He only had a taste the red fluid quenching his thirst would have taken more then he could share with Sin. Removing his mouth from her flesh he licked it the strange nature of his vampirism taking over and hiding the wound perfectly healing over so well that no scar would ever occur even if she didn't die tonight. Any hospital would have killed to get samples of this unlikely gift that vampires were oh so wonderfully cursed with. He patted the girl's head and it fell limply back to place before he looked beneath him, he should have waited to feed, should have looked where he was because now all he could see was Sin sewing up a girl?s mouth.

She looked so delicate, like a fine hand crafted doll with silk clothing and hair from some Greek goddess. Kaie had to watch for a moment, watch her reach up and pluck the gift of life from this girl she had. Kaie felt nothing for the girl who died, it was just cattle being turned into a steak for his little girl. He was proud for some reason, proud that Sin was so able to fend for herself, able to eat and be safe with nothing more then a plaything to entertain her. He would have appeared right then, he should have, he should have jumped down and let his girl feed but there was another. Kaie smelt him long before he heard him or saw him, his strange odor was not like normal cattle and it intrigued him, at least enough to not jump down and strike him there and now.

He was armed, that's what worried him, Sin his darling little child near anything armed and wasn't him? That was unacceptable. Kaie carried the girl loosely by one hand as one would a luggage or a duffel bag and jumped off the rooftop hitting the dank ground below. The girl was still trapped in memory of the feeding so didn't really feel it when Kaie sat her down right next to Sin his fingers patting the little vampire's cheek. He kissed the other side of her face before he even thought about talking. "Did you spoil your appetite?" Kaie at this moment inspected the body, the warmth was gone and the tiny puncture marks from Sin?s little mouth were still there. He shook his head, sometimes all children needed a little reminder to clean up their messes, a quick lick on the victim's neck and the markings vanished.

"You are rather warm, a fine meal I hope."

"... yummy yummy... her blood dances inside me.... it can sing too... it hums of candles and chocolate and says... Mommy... where is my mommy?... But mommy is at the store buying pesticides for her baby to drink with his milk... Baby is hungry and drinks yummy arsenic... and falls asleep forever... " Sin looked up and stared into the distance blankly as she began to slowly shake her head about in a uneven waves. Her silky raven hair wisped around lightly as her pale lips quickly turn into a pout. She turned her gaze up at her dark father as she finally focuses. "Daddy... I want to have a baby brother... I want to play with him... especially his head... Oh, but daddy knows I'm not good with pets... Everytime I try to give my babies a bath... they always stop moving... "

Sindel began a fit of soft giggles as she steps down from the corpse and turns to the one who had discovered their temporary hiding spot; Zorl. Her giggles halted as she walk slowly towards him with her hands extended out to him as if he were a small puppy and she wanted to buy him. She gazed at him in a cooing way through her long eyelashes.

" Want to...play with me?... Come to mummy...come play with mummy... mummy wants to hear you scream..." But at that moment Sin stopped in her tracks and stared at Zorl in a frighten way. Her eyes widen and her lips trembled. Her body shook as she began to pull at her long strands of black beauty. A loud scream screeched out from her tiny mouth as she quickly backed away from Zorl in a frantic panic. She falls backwards on the floor at Kaie's feet screaming as loudly as her dead lungs would allow her. She went silent, but her body continued to tremble. SIn turned and placed her face on Kaie's legs as dry weeps exited her throat. "... Water... Everywhere. SO much water... splish splash... splish splash... He's a bad bad man... with too much water... Fishies swimming around my head... telling me I'm ugly... They're so pretty... Like fingers dipped in chocolate... Crunchy and sweet... Swimming little fingers... swimming... swimming... splish splash...."

Sin often explored worlds unseen by others. Her own world or the worlds transmited by others. She often experienced life as if it were merely passing her by as if she were an observer, and not alive at all. Technically, she wasn't alive, but most of the time she felt like a ghost; drifting and untouchable. That was why she clung to Kaie so desperately at times. Kaie was what kept her anchered in a way; stopping Sin from wandering off mentally and never returning. Sindel sat there with her face pressed again Kaie's leg as she weeps and sang to herlself softly. Her blank eyes stared into the darkness that was Kaie's limb, but she saw more.

She saw blood pouring out from clothe, and screams echoing around her. She saw people running in terror, and corpses laying on the ground. She saw a black haired man with glasses and another person with blue hair and glasses standing behind him. Sin watched closely as a woman in a kimono rippled in and out of sight; blue eyes glistening like crystal candles. She saw blood, and more screams. Of course, neither Kaie and Zorl saw these images. This was Sin's world and how she saw that moment. Sin turned around to regard Zorl once more, but he was now swimming. Water rushed into the room. She saw this, even if none other did. Waves crashed through the walls, and lifted Zorl up. She watched as Kaie and her were swollowed in the coll liquid. She quivered as she turned back to kaie where the air was red and blood soaked the floor and screams echoed about.

"... Daddy... I don't like him hear... He makes the air wet.... and bubbles tickle my nose... Fishes are biting me daddy... I don't like it..." She weeps again and slowly brought her tiny mouth onto Kaie's leg. She pressed her little fangs into his flesh and drank messily. SHe pulled away just after a few moments and pouted; licking her lips. " Daddy's been naughty... and spoiled his apettite... drinking... drinking.... Naughty naughty daddy... You taste like virgin..." The phrase virgin was still undefined in her world. The explaination of sexy, and virginity were never handed to her. To her, the word virgin just described a certain taste that only some women had. Virgins were sweeter, and more delicate. SHe perfered a sweeter blood. Of course. She was still a child after all, and she forever will be. She stared back at Zorl, momentarily forgetting about the vast amounts of ater around him, but his sight quickly reminded her. She turned back to kaie quickly and squeeked a wimper. " I don't like fish..."

Thoughts and alcohol were still racing in the Parox's mind when another person approached what he saw now to a little girl. With deep purple hair and pale skin he carried what Zorl thought to be a odd shaped bag, only when he placed it on the lap of the dead one did he realize it was human. That when the child stood and started to ramble. Although mostly incoherent Zorl managed to make out that she had the dead girls blood inside her, feeding a baby, aswell as a tendency to kill babies. Still feeling light-headed he found himself confused, what were they, why where they here, and what the hell was arsenic. One thing and for that matter the only thing he was sure of was they fed on other humans.

A human eating another human, were they cannibals then? No, something about these creatures was amiss, the flesh of their victims was left untouched. The only markings the little girl left were two circular holes which as Zorl thought on reminded him of a creature he had not seen since his departure from Africa. A lowly vile beast, it was never seen but it left a distinct trail where ever it went, the rotting carcasses of many animals. But it did not feed on them, it merely sunk its fangs into its victims jugular and left them for the maggots. Different still were the ones that stood before Zorl. In her intoxicated speech the small childs delighted in having the young womans blood inside her.

Lost in his life back home Zorl snapped back to reality hearing a clacking sound on the pavement. Looking down did he see the pale girl stepping towards him, her hand reaching out for him. Zorl released his weapon and walked backwards, indeed for every step she took forward he took one back. Scared she stopped and ran away howling horribly making the gills on the side of his neck close tightly against his throat. Zorl reached around and violently yanked his spear from his back. He spun, his back facing the girl as he looked beyond the shadows trying to find what had terrified her.

She spoke again but Zorl did no pay much attention instead he was hellbent on finding the monster that hid in waiting, that is until he heard the word water. Zorl turned to see her in the mans embrace speaking of bizzare things and from what he saw she did not like him much.

"The child is mad, she speaks in nonsense." Although quite aware of his surroundings the drinks he consumed seemed to have adverse effects. He could not keep any one thought in his mind for long. "Why is she afraid? What took place here? What happened to the girls? MURDERERS!!!" He stuck his spear out pointed at the girls head.

The pets, most could have been in little Sin's mind but Kaie remembered bringing her a child or two to play with, and how it had taken her almost no time to...break her new toys. She could probebly break their necks with a flick of her little children's fingers the limits of her vampiric strength hadnt even been touched Kaie was sure of it, she didnt ever seem to use the gifts of Caine's blood in anything she did, she merely drank and played with peoples minds. Kaie had been merely spending time with the little girl making her steady on those little feet until the day when being introduced to his own little world would be needed. Surely the little vampire knew how much he hated his brother and would assist him in hurting that former family.

He ran his slender fingers through her hair just wanting to feel the soft strands again, she was adorable she was...the darkest little bitch Kaie had ever met. She looked like and had Tamara's powers in the mind, she could ruin even Kaie if she wanted...but now she had the blood that ran through the purple haired bastard's veins, blood that could animate the dead, blood that could make people boil inside their skin, blood that could change the body and turn it into something truely ghastly

Her scream was something that Kaie feared, it was never a good thing and though it wasnt her screaming that frightened him but that when she screamed bad things seemed to happen...bad enough that people seemed to just...well die in very painful ways. Her face against his leg was almost comforting in some strange disjointed way, it was like having a teddy bear that hugged back, something that was safe...Kaie safe? Heh that was an odd way to think about things Kaie being the safety net, being the one that little Sin could turn to for help, being the one she turned to now to protect her to keep her safe.

"Virgin tastes better then fish...I am sorry but I had to have a little snack, I brought the rest back for you but it seems you ate without me...and without saying grace it seems." That smirk, it was unhappy and rather unhappy, it made most people uneasy and was normally seen when someone was about to die in a horribly painful way but now Kaie did it out of that warm feeling he got from the little girl attached to his leg. The girl stirred for a moment but a quick tap on the head by Kaie's hand ended that, she was still alive as...warm pumping blood would always taste better then cold blood of the dead something that he would teach Sin soon enough.

"Nonsense?" Thats what the strange watery creature said, how could he say that about Sin? Kaie knew what nonsense from the dead sounded like, he had spent nights with the moon mad Malkavians as they plotted things that made no sense and got silent laughs from their own hands, Sindel was not mad. "Nonsense is something you speak of only when afraid of the rest, nonsense is not what my daughter speaks, she knows you...she smells the water on you and so do I...but she doesnt hear your heart...hear the flow of blood rushing to your extremities...do I excite you? Do I scare you? Do I make your blood churn faster or is that just the child's influence on you...you shouldnt be afraid of nonsense."

Kaie could have let the man live, could have let it walk away and never give a second thought but that weapon came out, aimed at his child and he was insulted, that was rude and unacceptable a lesson would need to be taught. It went wordlessly as he drew the weapons from behind him, the two black barreled guns, fast firing but made to rip people to shreds. Interesting how an immortal perferred weapons of mortals to tear them apart, they always did find more ways to kill each other, hell it wasnt just more ways they did it better, they managed to tear each other to ribbons without feeling bad and many made small fortunes for it.

"Murderers? Do you call a man who finished a steak a murderer? These filthy beasts that over populate the earth are nothing but cattle to us, we are the gods of this world and it is not murder for a god to kill his food. They are pathetic little creatures, overpopulate and destroy their world, and each other. How am I a murderer for taking the life of a monster like that hmm? They are just like cattle, let over breed and they slowly but surely kill the world polluting the world and hunting down anyone with common sense."

Back and forth the two spoke. Murders and water. Cattle, and nonsense. Different points touched, but none of it caught Sindel’s attention. It was rare for an intruder with fish like qualities to intrude on Sin’s playtime. She was now eyeing Zorl with a dazed like insanity. The old warehouse, Kaie, and Zorl were no longer there. Sin was in her own world now. Her mind was filled with images of fish swimming around the endless sea with corpses floating on the water’s surface. She held her breath even though she didn’t have to.

Breath was something forgotten when the turning occurred. This action was just something reflexive; something of humanity still drifting about within her. Humanity; something Zorl, Kaie, and Sin all resembled, yet were not human. A fish and two leeches. She knew Zorl was there although she couldn’t see him; no name was mention. Her eyes went blank as her mind seeped into the vast ocean that was the warehouse. Scanning, searching, until finally…

”… Zorl…” That was all. She said one word and was lost again in Zorl’s watery-ness. Fish began to bite at the floating corpses. Blood drifted in the water around her. The blood was obviously the effects of Kaie’s aura or his mind. Zorl’s mind mixed with Kaie’s; Bloody water. Sindy began to sway her head about as the images continued, but not for long. Something pulled her back into reality. A small rustle and a slight moan. Quickly the vampire girl turned away from Kaie and Zorl; water and blood disappearing. She stared into the darkness as she bit into her own lip lightly. Only a few feet from the three was a mound covered in a dusty black blanket. The mound shifted once more as a moan echoed again. Sin giggled as she stepped up and walked quickly over to the blanket and pulled it off roughly.

Beneath the filthy blanket laid a table and a chair with another teenage girl strapped into it with barbed wire. There were six in the warehouse. Three teenage girls, two vampires, and one merman creature. The teen girl’s arms were securely fastened to the table in front of her with more barbed wire. Dried stains of blood littered the table and the chair; signs of past usage; leftovers from Sin’s past toys. Sindel giggled again and she turned to Kaie and Zorl with an excited smile; a grin that could rival Christmas morning. The teenage girl weakly opened her eyes and stared at Zorl, but by her face, anyone could tell she didn’t fully come into consciousness as of yet. The girl already had several cuts on her bloody back; shaped in hearts, and flowers; proof that cookie cutters were used.

Kaie often brought his daughter teenage girls; all beautiful, fit, and neatly dressed. One would think vampires would attack the homeless because none would go searching for them if they went missing. But no. Sin was given the best. Spoiled rotten by the man who took away her life, only to give her a new one. One better then her original.

Sin patted the girl’s head as if the girl was a small puppy. She caressed the girl’s hair so lovingly, but at the same time her free hand moved into a rusty tin box; pulling out an even rustier hammer. The female blood-sucker hummed her childish tune as her eyes twinkled playfully. Smash! The hammer found it’s way onto the teen girl’s middle finger. More screams pierced through the warehouse as Sin began to quickly pound down on the girl’s hands and fingers with the dirty hammer. The girl’s screeches were mixed with Sindel’s giggles. Blood splattered about with every strike. Pound pound smash smash; the table shook.. Bone shattered, flesh beaten to a juicy pulp, specks of blood splattering about; dirtying Sin’s black lacy dress. The human girl cried loudly as she continued to scream for help; calling “mom!” several times before she finely laying her head down on the table and weeped.

Sin placed the hammer down and frowned. This toy wasn’t co-operating very well. The vampire child turned to Kaie and pouted as if it was all his fault that her plaything had broken. She glared down at a gasoline container and picked it up. She began to pour it contents over the girl as the girl sobbed even louder. Sindy stepped back as she pulled out a match-box from her pocket and lit it. She pouted once again at Kaie and Zorl before tossing the match onto the girl.

The burst of flame was magnificent. The screams were music. Shrieks that almost out-sounded the roaring flame. Sin watched as she once again drifted into her own world. She saw the beautiful girl do a graceful ballet; flames dancing all around. A fiery dance show just for her. The screams faded as the girl died, but the hell child continued to watch a flame covered ballet dancer spin about in twinkle toed steps.

”…I want fish tonight...”

No sooner had Zorl lifted his spear did the man with purple hair reveal two large pistols like those man often used. Zorl backed from the man and lowered his weapon, his gaze free from the child and now locked onto the man. Fully aware that he could never stand up against that mans weapons felt an odd rush of courage that he could not account for.

This man was just like the girl, mad and yet strangly entrancing. He spoke of the deaths he caused, trying to justified them but Zorl did not accept it until 'hunting down anyone with common sense', these words rang truer than the rest of self-indulgent BS he spouted. His people who once lived in solitary away from man were found and slaugthterd for something that could have easily been taken without violence. And for a moment Zorl felt himself take in this man's word as truth, but still doubting his current judgment cleared his mind of such thoughts.

"No, you sound so proud, so noble as if on a crusade to rid this world of man but you do not kill those who are deserving of death you choose those that are weak and innocent. You are no better than they are."

Now watching the girl, her eyes glazed and unfocused tried to work out a connection between the two. The man with violet hair sounded as though she was his child but their faces, neither one looked like the other. He saw her uncovered, a yound not unlike the two that now lied cold and lifeless. Only this seemed alive if only just. Zorl stepped forward but remembered the two jet black pistols pointed at him and stayed back. He watched with great difficulty as the girl gleefully smashed the yound ladies fingers. She stopped and only for a moment till she picked up a container and proceeded with pouring the contents on her victim. Was she trying to drown her? Soon the bottle had been emptied and he saw the child rub what he saw as a small stick against the box she had pulled it from. Erupting from the tip a flame, bright and vibrant danced on its head. Zorl knew what was coming now.

"No..."

Zorl could only watch in horror as the young girls body writhed in pain. Feeling the heat from the flame on his scaly form he stepped back, his body was beginning to dry and he knew he had to return to the deep cool waters of the lake. Still even though common sense told him to run Zorl felt something he had not felt in years, indeed an emotion he thought long since dead, but why now did he feel as he did, why did he now feel fear.

No sooner had he questioned himself did the answer come. If this was the night that death would come he would leave incomplete, unable to remain at peace. If he died so would the his people, their fate was linked to his and Zorl was far too proud and perhaps far too pigheaded to let anything happen to his family.

”…I want fish tonight...”

Zorl reached from under the cloth draped over him and undid the know that held it around him. He threw the purple cloak down at the floor and revealed his true self. His entire body encased in blue-green scales only covered by tight black bike shorts. Both oval-shaped black eyes blinked and the gills on the side of his head quivered. The spear that he held at his side came down, again pointed at the little girl.

"No you shall not."

“Silly child you shouldn’t name your food, it will only make you sad when the time comes to eat it.” Psychic or not Kaie believed it was the young girl that began calling the fish Zorl, so of course when the youngest knows it by that name you keep calling it by that or else the child will not know what you mean. Humanity to vampires, strange fishy creatures, monsters and half of what you would normally call humans was a total and uncontrollable lie. Lies were needed much of the time to keep all of those above alive heck many such creatures required it just for the chance of life. You either had to be strong or smart to survive and Kaie was more then strong enough, more then smart enough…though not smart enough to choose against the will of that small child he called his own.

Insanity filled her eyes, Kaie could feel it thickening the air, could smell the girl’s growing lust for flesh and blood. He himself yearned to suck the marrow from the fish creature’s bones or perhaps that of one of the younger more supple creatures brought here for his childe to play with. Most people would have called Kaie cruel, called him some kind of bastard as he moved to pet his littlest creation. She was even crueler and destructive then he, he who not all too long ago tried to take the life of one of the most favored holy men in the world, he had tossed aside hundreds of people in simple and bloody ways but she…that little devil he had come to love didn’t just kill her food, she butchered them in the strangest ways in some guise of innocence, for her it wasn’t the number but the way that made it shocking, opposite from her young father.

“Now now little girl, this one is starting to get rotten. Best let daddy take care of her.” Kaie followed the girl as she burned shoving his hand into the fire, his clothes didn’t burn only charred around the edges his arm sucking up the heat much like wrapping a paper around a soda can to keep the paper from burning. Sliding one of his guns down into a holster not to far from his arm Kaie’s flesh was strange and strong, strange enough that the flames tickled his flesh but didn’t even begin to hurt him. The heat was simple and easy to avoid as he shoved his ring and middle finger up through the soft tender skin in her jaw and coming out through her burning mouth the tongue somewhere between the fingers pulling them too wide as his fingers curled and tugged the jaw free of her flesh along with the bright pink tongue.

The girl still tried to scream her calls becoming more and more disturbing, every moment of it was insufferable…that is for the girl. Kaie relished in the sight of pain and that overwhelming scent of blood. Haphazardly he threw the tongue over his shoulder onto the face of the cattle class human he had brought to feed his daughter’s greed. It might have been a shock if she had been awake. Ah now but the jaw, that was the fun wasn’t it? Kaie snapped it in two almost effortlessly between the pair of his fingers. He had done that not for a show of force but to make the womanly screams vanish, like tearing out a pig’s tongue so when it dies its human like screams are like something already dead.

Wiping his hand on the side of his pants our purple haired bastard picked up the girl who he had brought her soft and salty tasting flesh speckling in the sagging moonlight. He wrapped his pale fingers around her wrist, put a boot against her side and tugged while twisting the arm making a pop before coming off. His other gun vanished too sliding into a holster. He didn’t care about the fish boy there, most creatures would leave in fear or disgust over what he did next that the weakest wouldn’t give him a problem and from Kaie’s eyes this water lover was already a weak creature. The meat was cleaved from the bone in one swift flick of his arm the spare skin and muscle was sent shooting towards Zorl’s face at a rather nice accuracy though not done on purpose or as an attack. The bones snapped like twigs without even tapping much power, the white foamy bits of substance Kaie lapped up greedily before sucking it down. Odd that such a bit that made blood would be a little delicacy amongst the older vampires, newly made stalkers wouldn’t be able to handle it nor would thin bloods but Kaie? Kaie was just perfect for the chance.

“Eat well or else you will never get stronger.” Our beloved purple haired monster didn’t care much for the fish man choosing to feast rather then spout back fake remarks the strange creature trying to find some impossible philosophy behind what Kaie did instead of taking it for what it was…instinct. It was then that the fish man started talking again and Kaie couldn’t help but refute his assholery. It wasn’t what he was saying that annoyed our vampire too much merely how he said it, that annoying voice of his, bubbly through air more disgusting then if Kaie tried talking while spam filled his lungs.

“Rid the world of man? You misunderstand far too much; if we rid the world of our cattle then we would have nothing left to eat. We can eat freely here the swine we feast from growing far too fast…if we merely let them go then they will make too many more for their land to support.” There was no lie being told when said that little Sin could have anything she wanted from her father, he bent over backwards to give her what she asked for and tonight she asked to feast on fish so of course that’s what he was resolved to give.

“Don’t say no, we can make it so you don’t feel a thing…but that’s if you cooperate, if you want to try and hold on to dignity beyond that of which you deserve then I will just have to make it as painful as possible wont I?” He stared at the puzzling creature with barely half an eyelash of care. He would have gladly let the creature die but this one seemed like it wanted to live all too much.

A spear? That’s honestly what this fish-man thought he could use to beat two vampires? A simple weapon made of wood and a pointy end? It wasn’t just foolish it was down right pathetic. He also looked pathetic, the scales might help avoid something simple or deflect easy shots but against a couple hundred bullets? Vampiric strength? Or even simple feats of blood magic and soul disruption the creature was screwed on many levels. With maybe a flick or two of fortitude and the weapon wouldn’t even pierce his skin.

In Kaie’s eyes the fish might be blessed, he was going to provide long sustenance for the little girl whose mind had made Teo fall to his knees. The little girl wasn’t physically strong like our purple irked monster but she had strengths in ways Kaie couldn’t even fathom. Only one pistol in hand this time his palm out flat open and waiting his body making it obvious what he was there for before he spoke.

“Just put that pathetic weapon in my hand so we can take your life and get on with our night, okay? I don’t want to make this too messy and let my darling play with her food.”

“Just put that pathetic weapon in my hand so we can take your life and get on with our night, okay? I don’t want to make this too messy and let my darling play with her food.”

At those words, Sin awoke from her dazed state. The fire, the broken jaw, the arguing, all of it felt like a dream to her; a passing series of blurry events like an unfocused slide show. Sin’s eyes pierced towards her father and Zorl as the reflection of the blazing flames danced in her dark orbs. Her lips quivered and in the blink of an eye, Sin’s face was once again planted against Kaie’s back. Her movements were incredibly fast. So speed filled that her motions were unseen. One moment she was standing before the fire and the other, at Kaie’s back. Her little body trembled as she gripped onto Kaie’s body as if he was the very foundation that kept her from toppling over. She was afraid.

”All around us….everywhere…Don’t you see them Daddy. Everywhere, and they smell of fish. They all look like him. That…fish man. That bad bad man. So much water. No. More scissors. Yelling. And apple sauce. Can you see them? They have spears and humans are chasing them. All around us. They are mad. They say they want to eat us daddy. We’re cookies and milk. Cookies and goat milk. Sweet, and sour. They are stinky…..so…so stinky… and they like him daddy. They say he is with them… We can’t be with them daddy… Don’t kill him daddy…let me play with him…he’s dreaming… “ Of course most would be confused when listening to Sindy’s splurges of apparently random thoughts, but to her, all of these things made sense. Her dark father would be the closest to understanding her, but even some things remained clouded.

To Zorl, all of this was just more crazed babbling of an insane child. Just moments ago she requested the fish man’s flesh to dine on, but not she demanded he be spared. Sin was as fickle as any child; changing her psycho mind with just a mere running of a tangent. It wasn’t her fault her mind shifted from past, present, and future events. One could even say it was Kaie’s fault for her disorderly brain. Sindy would have died from her diseases, and her body would finally be able to rest. But no. Kaie granted her a chance to let the diseases plague her brain for eternity. Her mind would never heal; at least heal mentally. Physical healing was something done automatically. Mental healing was something that was now no longer a possibility.

”The fish is dreaming… Dreaming… dreaming.. So much dreaming… Man in glasses. He is calling for you daddy. He’s crying… Go… go… go... Daddy… Swim. Your brother….dreaming…and little fishies lead the way. Teo… In Slumber Land…” Sin lifted her face from Kaie’s back and turned her head to the door. Grabbing Kaie’s hand she pointed to it. She walked towards the exit; gently leading her father with her. Only a few steps did she pause again. She turned to Zorl with her blank expression. ”Want to come with us?... We’re going to go see my uncle… I want you to meet him. He’ll like you. He can see all the fishies around you too. Daddy can’t see fishies.. Maybe daddy is allergic to fish.”

She extended her free hand towards Zorl. Her long black, razor sharp finger nails seem to curl inward. Flicker of the light? She wasn’t human so the idea of claws was surely possible. She stood there with one hand holding her father’s, and the other waiting for Zorl to take it.

”…you will… come with us… now…”

Kaie seemed wise, wise beyond his years but as Zorl guessed he was much older than he appeared just like the small girl. Even after torture one of the poor human girls remained live in pure agony. Zorl wanted to save her but knew it was not possible now, she would not be of this world much longer. Sin guardian wanted to end this girls life now and at the time was the best thing to happen to her all day. She would have peace, but this man was sinister and he would not let her leave easily. Zorl closed his eyes tight now more experienced in the ways they 'played' he knew he did not want to see this.

Still even without the gift of sight Zorl raised his spear and pointed at the man with purple hair. The weapon trembled in his webbed hands as he heard to girls screams turn into something more distrubing altogether. He so desperatly wanted to help her but he was far too concerned with self-preservation, he was going to live even if this girl did not. The sounds of bones breaking and tendons snapping filled his ears and Zorl could not help but imagine what was taking place beyond his eyelids. Zorl heard something, whether it was a bullet or something else he did not know he jumped to his right when he sensed it whizzing past his shoulder.

Zorl opened his eyes again, and now they looked only upon the features of Kaie. He was intent on killing Zorl that was sure but something else was amiss here, something that he did not think of. It was something that seemed to have never crossed Kaie's mind atleast not to Zorl's knowledge. Though he longed to feed on the fish Kaie was ignorant to the blood of this fish and its abilities.

"My blood is not the same as man, how do you know that it won't poison your beloved child?"

Sin continued to speak in her way and still the young fish could not begin to understand what she meant when that demented child parted her lips. Talk of dreaming and if an uncle Teo was all he could gather from her incesent speech. Teo, the name sounded familiar like Zorl had heard it before, he thought on it. When he had first arrived at the meta-human school two student had a conversation about him, they themselves were holy creatures and seemed elated with the mans actions. It was not something to be concerned with the one time he heard of this Teo he was spoken as in the highest regard, maybe just maybe he could help Zorl out of this. No, asking for help was a cowards way out, he could get out of this himself, Zorl could defeat these cannibals.

But as this moment when courage and adrenaline was coursing through his veins(among other things) the girl and her guardian left or atleast they started to. She held out her hand beckoning to him and Zorl listened to her request. His actions were no longer his to decide, his will was not his to command. Sin pulled him towards and Zorl in turn took hold of her hand. Her grip was weak and her body felt like ice, Zorl his eyes upward but did not focus on anything.

A face was comforting when pressed against your back at least...thats how Kaie felt about it. He knew that as long as the little girl stood behind him she would be safe from anything that could come forward. He wasnt threatened in the least by anything these days only annoyed by creatures like the one before him. It wasnt cattle like the rest of the human race but a fish, a delicacy that he would cherish or vomit up but it would be trying to meals and that of course is what all fathers were supposed to encourage in their children wasnt it? Try new things, dont just stick to fishsticks or hamburgers but try some alfredo once in a while. His face looked gloomy, he appeared sickly in life and death the pale skin strange when it should have been more olive tinted because of his Asian family. The deep sunken purple eyes didnt grow weary of death or pain but rejoiced in them.

It seemed like gibberish, like nothing overly important but Kaie understood a little, enough to make him smile proud that his daughter would like to play with such a fighting creature rather then just letting it win or rot in the street. She asked for him not to just kill it and he had to comply. Not because she commanded him but because he spoiled her so, he would gladly bring her a thousand living gifts just to see that golden smile when she lifted the cookie cutter to take little strands of flesh off the people. Kaie secretly had a small collection of them, peeling the flesh off the screaming or dead victim when his daughter wasnt looking and framing it, placing it in a safe spot to keep him company on cold or dull nights and days.

The boy in owl glasses, his ugly happy smiling face was something Kaie dreamed of tearing apart, hearing Sin talk of him was surprising. His brother was rarely mentioned when he gave her bed time stories of his exploits though he had covered a number of his favorite butchers many times. It was strange that Sin could know of Teo's dreams when she had never seen or met the boy, and when she was perviously playing, like knowing someone a couple of blocks over is on the telephone when you pass by a switch board. But she was psychic wasnt she? So no little problems like that could ever get in her way.

"Uncle Teo is a fishy dear, he smells of them and holds them tight." He was talking with his daughter like any father would when they were playing, surely thats what this was now, play. Death was just a game, feeding was only fun for food and humans made oh such fantastic toys with their pathetic beliefs of self importance and power that they didnt have in the slightest.

He didnt like the idea of the fish following them, it would surely get in the way and get angry about him wanting to wish his brother death. Many people did like the girl Tamara who was the only one who ever tried to stop him from achieving such a goal. It was from her image that he had found little Sin who was now his daughter, from her he called Sin the daughter of their impossible marriage. It wasnt quite that simple, quite as easy as just lust but that emotion was there too, causing him to want the woman who had brought him to his knees unable to fend off mental attacks. Thats another reason Sin had been such a treat. No one he had ever heard of could compare with her mad mind, the powers that lurked within only inhanced by immortal blood such as his.

Your blood is weak like all things living fish man, my daughter needs to expand her pallet and not just sip virgin blood. Kaie kept his thoughts to himself because little Sin had offered up her hand for the man to come. It was a careless thing for the fishboy to say, trying to sway Kaie's thoughts with thinking only human blood would do to keep their heart pumping.

So it was decided by his fickle daughter who he could not say no to that the fish boy would come with them. He already didnt like the scent of it but if such bad things happened then he would do away with the pathetic creature before it knew it was in danger. Such easy and simple things that would take no time to do almost bored Kaie, but such boredom would end when the only threats left were taken care of and Teo was one of them...Teo would die simple and go unmourned like he had let Kaie go. None of his family had cared about him until death and he would show the same, taking their lives and not allowing any to think of them until their rotted corpses lay forgotten and the tombstones were vandalized and crumbled.

A smile; a weak one, but a smile none-the-less. Sin’s pales lips expressed her joy as the fish creature took her little hand and agreed to accompanying them. The child vampire held both her father’s and the creature’s fingers as she led the way out the down and into the rain. It was cold; like buckets of ice being poured upon the three. Sin neither shivered, nor flinched to the rain as it hit her face like tiny pellets of hard rock.

Chilled rain, a common occurrence in such a season when the hot summers shifted into cold autumn. As least it wasn’t in the middle of January. Even if it was, the two vampires wouldn’t be slowed as much as a mortal creature such as Zorl. Sindel’s beautiful lacey black dress became soaked in no time at all; her black raven hair clung to her body, but she seemed unaware of the consequences of walking into the night storm.

”Look at the stars…So pretty… the stars are singing…always singing and never shutting up… Shut up stupid stars… You’ll wake the babies.. Shhhhh all the babies I’ve hidden under my bed. They are sleeping… and rotting… and playing hide and go seek. But I can’t find them… Do you know where I put them, Mr Bubbles?”

She turned to Zorl with once again blank eyes; assigning him a new name. Those orbs of pitch black; dark voids of laughter, games, and evil. She giggled as she led her father and Zorl deeper into the ally. The stench of garbage cans loomed as they passed behind restaurants, pet stores, and other shops with equally odor-filled trash. This time, she faced her father.

”Do you smell the daisies? They are blooming because the sun is too hot. So much sun. Shine and shine. And pop… … … … Daddy, I’m wet…”

She announced this as if it was such a shock to her. She looked around a bit confused before letting go of both their hands and placing her hands onto her ears. She gazed around with terrified orbs, and made a stressed squeal/moan. She then paused before turning to an already pulled down fire escape latter. Her apparent sudden fear vanished as she pointed to it. She took a step towards it but stopped as a small rustle sound was heard to the right; just behind a large dumpster. It was even audible to Zorl.

Sin turned to the rustle sound as her head rapidly jerked to the side as if some unseen force had just broken her little neck. Saliva rolled out her mouth but was quickly washed away from the pouring rain. Her tilted head looked awkward from either side of her. A choking sound could be heard as a middle aged homeless man staggers out from behind the dumpster; holding his chest. He fell at the fish man’s feet as he gave one exhausted gasp. Sindy’s head slowly returned back to it’s original position as she faced Zorl and her father.

”Fishies… fish… kill him… ugly man with no place to go but in the trash… so filthy… so icky and filled with icky human stentch… worse then rooting eggs, and vinegar. Kill him. And you get to follow us more.”

Little Sin brought her hands up to her face in excitement as she stared at Zorl. She shook happily as she used her palms to cover her mouth as if trying to hold back a tremendous laugh. She wanted Zorl to kill this man right in front of her and her father in exchange for his own life. The homeless man stared up at Sin as he huffed and puffed for air. It was clear that Sin had chosen that one would die at the moment; Either the Merman, or the hobo.

A flash of lightning crashed; illuminating the area for a split second; in that split second Sin’s face seemed to be over shadowed by a grotesque silhouette; fiendishly long razor sharp teeth, large evil eyes, and over all demonic like appearance. That split second was enough for the hobo to lose any drops of bravery within him. He began to scream at the top of lungs as he backed away from the trio. Sin grabbed onto her ear again as she glared at the hobo for making such a noise.

”Kill him… or its bed time for you Mr. Bubbles.”

Drawn inextricably towards her, Zorl allowed Sin to lead him out into the dead of night reaching only for his cloak that lay stained on the ground. How he enjoyed the cold, drawing in molecule of water through his gills, he wanted just to stand there in the rain soak. What they didn’t know was how weak Zorl was before, why he didn’t dare attack them in his condition, but now he was dehydrated he would have no trouble leaving. That is if he wanted to, Zorl felt something tell him that he should see this ordeal through, that in the end it would be for the best. As he let the small girl drag him about he was curious, why didn’t they react to the cold, was it in there nature to prowl the night and thus adjust to the climate or was it simply that they didn’t care. Now ever stranger Zorl listened to the girls ramblings and for a moment felt as though he understood her. It was as if she, and possibly Kaie were connected on a deeper level to the world, more in tune to all its subtleties. One thing he understood though was her new nickname for him, and although he strongly disliked it Zorl did not say anything concerning the matter.

Zorl thought deeply on this girl’s connection to the earth only wavering when he felt her small hand disappear from his. She was frightened, but by what he was not sure. Sin came to the realization the she was soaked to the bone but surely this was not the reason for her panic. Whatever it was made Zorl uneasy, he moved his webbed hand behind himself ready to grasp his weapon. Only when he heard something from beyond the dumpster did Zorl pull the spear from his its holster. Relief filled him when a bald and emaciated man wandered out from his hiding place. He must have been what scared the girl; Zorl lowered the spear so as not to scare him.

What she said next was easy to comprehend compared to what she normally spoke. It was the homeless man or him and Zorl knew he could not die, not now, not yet. He picked up the man by the front of his old worn shirt as he pleaded for mercy. Zorl dragged the man away from the others and found just what he was looking for. He shoved the homeless man behind a brick wall so that only the lower half of his body and so that all of Zorl could be seen by the others. Zorl raised his spear up and jammed it deep into the homeless mans chest. He pulled back immediately letting the man’s blood spill and mix with the rain water. Zorl leaned forward and stifled the mans cries with his right hand. He whispered softly in his ear so that they could only hear.

“Be quiet or they’ll kill both of us.” Zorl pulled something small and silver from his cloak and placed it in the helpless mans pants pocket. “When we leave, use this phone to call for help.”

Zorl then pulled his spear by him and drug it lightly along the poor mans neck making a small, shallow cut. He then began scooping blood from the mans open chest wound and began spreading it over the old mans neck and around Zorls mouth. “Scream for me.” He let out such a howl that Zorl backed away in surprise. “Now don’t move, don’t even breath if you can help it.”

He left the man there and returned to the others, his weapon and face covered in blood, and a somber look on his face.

“The dark deed you have requested has been carried out.”
