Alora ran straight from her dorm room ahead of Eli, she got to the shore and sat down waiting for him, her purple silk-like dress being the only thing she realy adorned herself with. She also had the rebreather thingy Eli had lent her. She felt ready to hunt Pearly, hopefully they'd find both kinds and get some good sized ones for forging. Alora was exited about this now, She lyed down and saw that Eli had cought up "Oh hello." she said.

"Hey, Alora."

Eli sat down at the water's edge, placing his feet in to get used to the coldness. It was an awesomely hot day, and the water was warm too, but it'd be rather refreshing to swim in that. Though, he noticed one thing about Alora when he looked her up and down again.

"You're going to swim in THAT? My...Well, more power to you, but hey, be careful, ne? I don't know how deep this is."

Eli motioned for Alora to come, and placed the rebreather in his mouth, wading slowly into the water. When eh got a solid breathing pattern going, he began a slow dive underneath.

Alora smiled, she wasn't planning on using this for a bathing suit forever, when they got back up she planned to head for tokyo and purchase that and a select few other things. She would also go to the woods to forage for some berries if it had any.

Alora put the rebreather on and took a moment to get used to breathing through her mouth instead of her nose. Once she got it right she dove into the water and made her way towards eli. She hoped he could read signs... she could, but they both would need to know in order to comunicate. She cought Eli's attention and told him with her hands in swift motions "Do you understand this?" She hoped for a responce instead of a hand waving her off.

Eli shook his head and shrugged his shoulders; he didn't understand. he could communicate via basic motions, however, and pointed downwards, signaling a dive. His arms propelled himself in a breastroke style, legs kicking powerfully, claws pointed inwards to form a single flipper-like thing.

His eyes weren't that much much help here. Eli silently wished he'd brought a pair of goggles. They'd at least shield his eyes, and none of his powers would help him here. Well, unless he began making some upgrades to the Aethersprite to allow it to travel underwater. Maybe he should develop some form of technolgy for pearl diving.

Or, maybe I can do the smart thing and see if I could make realms.

Eli laughed a little in his head, and continued going down, crimson eyes sweeping the lake's water for any signs of pearls.

Alora sighed, seeing that he couldn't understand her. She dove to follow, but took to a bit further left then him. It would be useless to follow his path, then they wouldn't be coverig any reasonable area. She continued accross the terain and went to a small group of clams. It took her about a minute to search then all, and only came out with a single pearl worth taking, the others were to small to catch her interest yet. she put the pearl into her leather pouch and she now had room for some more. she continued her path towards the center, perhaps Eli was having equal luck?

Eli wasn't having luck. At least, not yet. His first two clams had turned up useless, using his claws to pry them open. He had a rough idea of how big he wanted the pearls, a great thing to know in shuch a venture. But he was determined to gather at the very least ten pearls, because he needed to use some and have some backups incase. His crimson eyes swept the Lake, sharply ont he lookout.

Another three clams were in front of him; one by one, he pried them open with his sharp claws. One had a good-sized pearl; though it began floating to the surface. Eli snapped his right hand out to catch it, placing it within his belt pouch. The nearly black-skinned boy threw the clams aside, and kept diving. Those black pearls were VERY tempting. Darkness element....he had an affinity with that, and fire.

Alora continued her dive, something didn't feel right... She compressed a light ball as her weapon and looked around for the sourse of her discomfort. A rather large fish showed up and looked directly at her through its human sized eyes. It apeared to be a fish that had sharp teeth, Alora wasn't taking any chances, she threw her weapon at it and creaed a few more which she launched at the same time. With the fish dead she dove a little deper to see a black pearl sticking out the ground just slightly, happily she picked it out and realised it only looked black from being dirty. Slightly unhappy, she pocketed the nice sized white pearl and moved on.

Aw, fuck.

In front of him was a sort of claw fish - a long, eel-like fish with claws near the head. It was a rather vicious water predator - and Eli would tackle it, straight up. Literally.

His left hand arced out, grabbing the claw fish around the midsection, his claws already digging in to its membranous skin. The more pressure he applied, the more it began to burst - until the claw fish split in two, blood and organs spilling through the water. The crimson eyes once more burned with the fire, that fire that kept him alive...But still...

Eli's eyes darted around once more, the intensity of searching for the pearls overtaking him. He fervently wished that he had the ability to merge with Shinsoku; the added muscle strength would have been a nice bonus for swimming. But that was a dream, for now. Two clams caught his eyes; both buried. Eli pried both open - there was a black and a white pearl! It was pure luck as he pocketed both. He kept moving along, eyes narrowed for precision vision.

Alora continued her dive, clams where everywhere, this had been a nice spot to pick. She noticed from the corner of her eye a few clams, she couldn't see too clearly under the water with it imparing her vision, but she went over to investigate and pried open two clams which she found, she saw a small pearl that was too small, and a black pearl of reasonable size. she placed it into her pouch, she had room for two more gems in it.

Too many clams to choose from. Damnit.

Eli swam there, performing the underwater equivalent of treading water, eyes sweeiping a whole berm with clams buried inside. He could have dug through and found the best clams - this was a great idea, as the smart and good clams would hev totally buried themselves. A hand shot out, clawing away a whole bunch of sand from the berm, clams and sand floating free.

Two eyes swept the floating sand and clams, and then moved back to the berm - three clams were still inside it. Once more, the hand reached out, and clawed open the three shells - revealing one horribly tiny white pearl, a black pearl and a white pearl. The pouch was full; there was no more room. Eli signaled for 'up', already allowing himself to begin a upwards-pushed quasi-float, propelling himself with his arms.

Alora continued swimming around, looking readily for more gems, before she realised her own pouch wass full, this pouch only held three gems. Alora sighed to herself as she propelled herself to the surface, she didn't expect to see Eli already up waiting for her. She exited the water with both herself and the dress she had needed to wear drenched. she felt icky as her silken dress stuck to her skin, Alora removed the rebreather and looked at Eli, "I'll clean these, don't worry. By the way, I found two white pearls as well as a black one." she smiled at her roomate, he hopefully hd a bigger pouch then she did.

"Two and one...I got three and two. That makes five and three. Thankfully, I can use those. So. I'll...forge them sometime, I guess."

Eli wasn't sure. he wanted to use the Dark element pearls, definitely. Dark element was kind of his thing. In honesty, he could make a full set of working armour from one crystal, albeit an extremely hard one to use. Personally, he preferred breasplate armour, as it were - armour that protected down to roughly the belly button. He'd have to make greaves to go with it. That there was all three black pearls. He needed another two, then - he wanted a buckler and a naginata, all imbued with darknes - unless he got another ruby and made the naginata and buckler fire-element. That was a smart move.

"So, is there any type of specific material or properties you're looking for? Light, durable..."

Eli wondered. She may have a special thing she was after. Regardless, Eli dried himself off rather quickly, then wrapped his towel around Alora gently, the soft fabric slowly absorbing the water.

(ooc: I have something I'd lik yes, it fits my character and I use it in a few other RP places. *smiles* However, I think it would be odd if my hcaracter stood there and described it to you o.o *thinks...* yeah.)

Alora smiled, she didn't much know what she wanted, she had never actually thought to much about it. "No, just... suprise me." she said, then she handed the gems she found over to Eli, he was the one who would use them.

(ooc: A sword, if your interested, I'll PM you specifications o.o But it'll prolly take only like, 2-4 lines)

"Swords - the one thing I've made since eternity. I can surprise you, definitely. I have one hell of a design in mind - one I wanted to use. We'll see if you can handle that. Probably make it out of adamantium. Adamantium is great for weapons."

Eli considered, drawing up that plan once again in his mind. It was one of the finer swords he'd made; and probably one of the better ones he'd used in combat. It was a shame it broke after being slammed against a rock of some strange material. Nevertheless, adamantium would prevent that.

"Now, what say we go back and get changed? I'm soaked and cold..."
he mumbled, even after he had toweled himself off. He was allowed to be cold at times, even for a creature who could warm itself with Psynergy.
