Keiko, may this all be in your memory. I couldn't bring your change.

Swept out of the gravity chambers, Yuki was feeling a tad uneasy. And of course by tad, the meaning is really more along the lines of 'extremely'. Anyway, when he when the two of them entered the Nurse's Office, he fealt a tad uneasy. Could a nurse heal a cyborg? That didn't seem likely. And this wasn't any form of car repair job either. It was delicate work to repair his structural damage. What kind of nurse could do that?

"Chrono, why must we come here?"

San Jose Labs

"Sir, they've taken him for medical attention outside of our area of influence."

"Damn it all! At that bloody school they'll recignize our work for sure."

"Um, Sir?"

"And we can't risk sending a recovery team. Hopefully, the won't reverse andything we did. If so, we'll delay our plans and make a new 'sight unit."

Yuki was beginning to feel drowsy from all the toxins pouring towards his head from the way he was being carried and his vision in his good eye stopped. He felt his mind starting to slip into sleep and couldn't fight it, passing out just inside the office.

Chrono noticed that Yuki had passed out and did not know what was wrong. One punch and a headbut wouldn't cause this kind of damage...would it? Perhaps he simply did not fully understand his own strength? Well, whatever the case the two were here now and there was nothing that they could change now...was there? Inside his head he kept replaying the scene over and over again. Then it showed Yuki standing up and moving over to the weapon rack. Picking up the Wakizashi, he did not look fine and yet he still insisted on staying to train. Chrono looked down at the boy and smiled.

Wow...this kid is even more dedicated the training that I am.

Chrono burst into the Nurse's office and all that she had to do was see the small blood stains around his mouth. They were rushed into a free room where Yuki was layed out upon one of those Hospital beds. After checking his vitals and finding out what was broken and where, she left him for a moment to check into his file. After finding it she noticed that the boy was a cyborg. She had never treated a cyborg before. It read that he contained some highly delicate operations to be done in order to repair him. In fact she was beginning to doubt her own capability to fix Yuki at all.

OOC: I was invited into this deal after offering some NPC services, just so you know.

IC>>>>>

(The nurse was cursing under her for not learning the trade of cybernetic medical research. Prosthetics just weren't her field, but she was able to determine that there were toxins going through Yuki once she'd done a simple blood test. She informed Chrono of the toxins quickly as she set up an IV of antibiotics. That would keep the organic side of Yuki stable for now. However, it was clear that they needed help outside that of the nurse's office. Just then, a man in a rumpled lab coat and disheveled doctor's uniform stumbled into the office.)

Nurse: Dr. Landen! What happened to you?

Landen: A couple of kids attacked me along with some guy in a trench coat. They were meta-humans. I'll have to write a report to Principal Mori on this. I think they were students.

Nurse: Doctor, we have a serious case right now. Do you know anything about cybernetics?

Landen: I don't do cybernetics. My training is in psychiatry. I know a good mechanic, though. Does cars and stuff like they were nothing. Practically a genius.

Nurse: I don't know... This boy isn't a car...

Landen: Well, I don't know what to tell you beyond that. I don't know a cyberneticist.

"I do."

(There was a young voice from the doorway, belonging to a boy of about 17 years of age. He was kind of tall and wiry, black haired with dark-blue eyes, wearing black jeans and a dark-green shirt. He looked at Yuki when he spoke, examining the hardware from where he stood. This boy seemed to know some things about that kind of technology.)

"I know a guy who could fix him right up, without a doubt. He's a friend of mine living in the city, name of Jack Styles"

(The only thing he failed to point out was that he was not only a friend of Jack's, but a patient. It seems that they have a choice to make. Go to a genius mechanic and a doctor of cybernetic research? Unbeknownst to them, either way spelt more trouble than what they were in...)

Yuki's eyes were closed. He could hear voices. They seemed like whispers from across a void they were so quiet to him. He tried to reply to the little bit he could make out. Yet, for some reason, his mouth just wouldn't move. He could hardly remember where he was and not being to see anything through his lead eye-lids did little to help that. He kept getting glimpses of what happened. He could remember the larger boy, though he couldn't recall a name. He had been flying around him. Yuki remembered the first few blows, but everything went foggy after that. He saw the older boy's head flying towards his own when everything went black; black like what he was seeing now.

San Jose Cybernetics Labs

"Sir, we've enhanced the sound bytes from the boy’s ear. They're taking him to an off campus doctor."

"Really? Is he an associate of ours by chance?"

"Not that I'm aware of, Sir."

"Damn. Get a task squad ready to ambush them, should anyone find the transmitter or serial number. We can't have him being traced back to us just yet. Not until the finishing touches are done on Number Two."

"Yes Sir!"

The wounded cyborg barely managed to open his eyes, sound becoming clearer. He felt a sharp pain in his right arm, by his wrist where the IV was. He wondered for a moment what kind of liquid was being pumped into him. His mind turned to whether or not Melody would try to find him at his dorm while he was here, but hastily pushed the thought from his mind. He didn't want to worry her.

His conscious started slipping again. But he still hadn't heard anything useful. He didn't know anything about the one name he could decipher, Jack Styles. The blackness began to swell up in his eyes and the pain he could feel only seconds ago faded to a dull ache. That's all he was right now; one big dull ache. And in what seemed like forever, that faded. Numb was all that remained. Each minute seemed like an eternity. He wanted to feel something. Anything. Just to know he was still alive...

Chrono shook his head when he first looked at the tall boy. He looked almost his own height, but with the way that he looked...he wasn't sure if he even wanted to speak to this guy. But when he spoke of a person that could fix his friend...if you could even call him that. What kind of friend would hurt his friend so badly. But Chrono had not realized how fragile this boy's body had indeed been, or how much strength he had placed into his hits.

With a glare of determination he staredat the disheveled figure. "Take us to him...it's my fault that he is like this and I will get him any help that he needs." Then he looked from Yuki lying there, back to the person. "So, when should we leave?"

((I ran out of ideas...and not only that but I have had too much to drink tonight...so be lucky I even got around to posting...lol))

OOC: It shows.

IC>>>

Landen: Eh... I'm not going anywhere. I was just attacked, remember? I'm pooped. Hey, kid.

"Niko."

Landen: Right, whatever. Are you sure this guy of yours can do the job?

Niko: I'm certain of it.

(As he said this, the boy called Niko raised his right hand. Chrono, the nurse, and Dr. Landen would all watch as the skin came off of his hand and folded into small compartments in his arm. Underneath was a mostly-black mechanical appendage. Niko was most-definitely sure of the workings of Jack Styles.)

Nurse: No wonder you never came for an examination...

Niko: We should leave now. The sooner he gets examined and worked on, the better.

(Thus, with the nurse's help, Niko began to prepare Yuki to be moved. Niko did this not for any reason beyond compassion for human life. If they'd known that he was, in fact, an ex-sniper, they might not have believed this.)
