Liger waited at the newly constructed mouth of the Suzaku house building, gazing up into space. The blue sky was surely welcomed after his long confinement to his room, a bad cold was nothing to sneeze at, especially with nurses like the ones he had run into. /Flashback Liger: Mizz Mizuno, I dink I hav a colb. Miss Mizuno: *Sighs* Well, at least you don't have any broken bones or any... Liger: *Sneezes so hard he falls backwards, crashing his head on the countertop behind him and knocking him unconscious.* Miss Mizuno: ...Why didn't I see that coming? *Drags him into a free room.* /Endflashback Liger shuttered at the memmories in his mind, he'd best not do things like that anymore, if he didn't kill himself, the nurse would. As kindhearted as she was, she was quick to turn. He shook his head, making his sword strung on his back shake as well. he was going for a different look today, strapping his sword to his back as opposed to on his side. He had a muscle shirt on, nice and black, but matching perfectly with his "sleeves", which were black and white striped. They didn't attatch to his shirt, they just sat at his forearms. He had baggy blue pants on, as well as a leg pouch attathed to his right leg. he had forgotten where he got the inspiration, but he sure thought it looked cool. Though it really didn't matter if Aura didn't like it. he didn't really change to see if she'd like it better, but he was sure that if she didn't like it he'd change right away. His absence was painful for him, but he was glad to be up and kicking once again. Speaking of, while he waited he sent a few kicks and punches into the air, nice and strong. It would yet take him another hour or so to get his full strength back up, but he really wasn't expecting a battle. Aura had given him a message to meet her here, and that's exactly what he would do. |

“Sorry Miss we don’t need any help right now.” “You just don’t have enough experience.” “You’re a bit too young.” “Too clumsy.” “We’ll keep you in mind if we need any help.” It was another rather plain day today. The spirits played in the streets and laughed as the cars drove right through them. That was rather normal for spirits, but other than that the sky was rather dreary and Aura was quite down for the most part. Her journey into to town had been a complete failure. She could not find any place that would hire her that she would not be completely embarrassed to work. She had almost had a job in a little coffee type place, but the uniform they wanted her to where was most embarrassing and despite the nagging feelings in the back of her mind she had to decline the job. She really did not want too, but she could not bring herself to bear such a costume and that was where we find her now. Walking through the crowded afternoon streets of Tokyo on her way to see Liger, whom she had not seen in ages. Tokyo was always crowded this time of day and Aura had been prepared for that, but not the impending rain. She had hoped it would be nice and it had been for quite some time and then—it turned rather muggy and there came the umbrellas. It seemed that everyone was caring an umbrella, but her as the clouds laughed at her misfortune of not thinking ahead. Her sandals smacked the hard sidewalk as she tried to avoid bumping into people, but it always seemed rather inevitable to run into people on such a busy street. Luckily she had been in town before and knew a quicker way across town to catch the bus back to campus. It really did not go all the way to campus, but it was quicker than walking back. If she walked back it would take a couple of hours and she really did not feel like walking back to campus if it was going to rain. She did not mind the rain so much anymore, but then… she still did not enjoy all that much either. She stopped and waited for the traffic to stop so she could cross with the throng that surrounded her. Being taller than most of the other people was really quite awkward as well, but she could manage with that as she did not seem to get that many stares as she was not freakishly tall for her ancestry. A bit above average, but she did not seem to get than many stares as she walked across the street with the rest of the gaggle. It was amazing how they moved in unison it seemed at such a busy time of day. This was when she dispersed however down a side street. She sighed as she escaped the crowd and was lost in her own thoughts for a moment until she ran into the shoulder of a smaller boy going the opposite direction. “My apologies,” she blurted after running into the boy. It had not really been her fault, but she apologized anyway for not paying more attention. She gave a quick bow and looked at the boy in front of her. He was not too short, but his face made it look like he could be shorter. A dark pair of glasses covered his eyes and his face was opened slightly as if mortified by the fact that she had run into him, but the face quickly fell to a scowl, which surprised Aura a bit. “You should be,” he snapped at her and took off disappearing into the mass of people behind her. Another sigh and then the heavens opened. First slowly, but it was slowly going to pick up. If she did not hurry she would be soaked for the bus ride back to campus and that would be rather uncomfortable so she hastened her pace a bit down the side street. -- So it seemed that Aura would not be joining poor Liger anytime soon as the clouds rolled over Tokyo, but it was a rather nice day a ways away at old AHS High School. The newly built houses sat prestigiously looking over one another as students went to and fro about their business. These were the lackluster days of summer. There was no class, which was different for more than a few of the students. It seemed to be a rather Americanized school, but was that really necessary? One student did not think so as so much free time was starting to become a bore. Class wasn’t so bad was it? Sure it was nice to have a few days off, but all this time doing nothing was rather dull and dreary. There was no change from the mundane and she had been playing to many games as of late and becoming rather tired of doing so. That was why she was trying to get out and about, but her attempted journey of going out and about was soon halted. The recognition quickly came to mind as she gawked at the boy standing just outside the house entrance. It looked as if he was waiting for someone and one did not have to be a grade A detective to figure that out. The reasoning was rather simple wasn’t it? He was there waiting for the same reason he had been in the park a bit ago. He was waiting for Aura and that much Lindsey could be sure of. New houses or not they would pose a problem with the rather ‘strict’ codes that were supposed to be enforced. No other house member could enter a house that was not their own. That certainly was a problem when it came to couples like this being split up. She really didn’t have anything to worry about, as she wasn’t a couple of anything with anyone. It was rather a nice feeling to have someone to care about and have someone care about you, but young love always ended in heartbreak or so it would seem. She wandered over without a care in the world to see if maybe she was right. Stopping to say hello wouldn’t hurt either as they were in the same house after all. It was a carefree day and just another few hours to kill before her T.V. show came on. The fact of the matter was that she would never admit that she watched the show, but it was actually pretty entertaining for the most part. Anyway, she hoped to kill a little time talking with Liger, which was still the oddest name she had ever heard, but hadn’t said anything to him about it. “So,” she said rather nonchalantly bypassing the formal greeting and getting right down to business. There was a question on her mind that had been there since she saw the young blue-headed boy: What possessed you to wear that? He was wearing a rather silly outfit overall. She was no fashion expert, but she could tell when someone was trying to hard or not hard enough as the case may have been. Her attire was rather normal for a guy, but then this young girl never did really care for what a girl was supposedly supposed to wear. A pair of rather long shorts that fell cleanly passed her knees and a rather long T-shirt that proclaimed that everyone should ‘Tune Out’. She shifted the stick that protruded from her mouth so that she could put this as bluntly as possibly. “Why are you wearing that?” |

"Eh?" He sort of grunted dumbfoundedly, torn from some sort of psuedo-reality in his mind. He looked around for a minute, to find the origin of what made him inturrupt his daydreaming, when he came across a familiar face. He looked into the almost country-western face of the girl, and grinned himself, looking her up and down. "Why am I wearing this? I could spring you the same question, though I suppose mine does constitute a bit more explanation." He looked over himself, smiling at his handiwork. "Honestly I have no idea why I'm wearing this. I woke up htis morning and though that this kind of look would be cool, so I tryed it." He spun around girlishly, and if it wasn't for the huge sword on his back, he may have pulled off the "girlish" part. "How do I look?" He questioned her, though only half-heartedly. Honestly he didn't care what she thought, it was Aura that would make the ultimate decision for him to change. "Hey..." Another thought spring into his mind as he was thinking. "Do you know where Aura is? She was supposed to meet up with me like..." He looked at the back of his wrist, which had no more than his hairs, "...ten minutes ago." He looked back up, only this time to the sky to gauge the sun, or something. |

It seemed that Liger was a little lost in thought as she broke his concentration, but hopefully it wasn’t anything bad. He seemed like a rather nice guy after all, but then again maybe she was giving him a bit to much credit for barely knowing him. Seemingly both of them were rather sweet on one another, but that was just a little High School romance. They happened and they ended, or maybe she was just a little bitter that she did not have the same relationship that these two had. That could be it right? Nah. That couldn’t be it. Lindsey didn’t feel the same way about him. She had given him a second chance and he had blown it again. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the guy, but he was never around. Never there just to hang out or go do something. It was just her and she hated being by herself for long periods of time. Sure her roommate was there sometimes, but that tall violet haired girl was always going somewhere or moping about. Lindsey really didn’t like it, but her moping about was really starting to get on her nerves. The winged girl didn’t make it completely obvious, but Lin could tell when someone was depressed. Liger was rather a curious guy though wasn’t he? Wearing such odd clothing and then making fun of what she was wearing. He should be wearing something similar if he was normal, but then again who here could admit to complete normalcy at all? She was the super human daughter of an infamous super human thief. That wasn’t what one would exactly call normal. Liger himself had blue hair, which screamed meta-human, and Aura seemed so out of touch with reality at times that it wasn’t even funny. They made a really cute pair though considering their oddities. Liger was trying to prove himself even odder than Aura though as he spun around like a model. Guys were not supposed to do such things; well – straight guys anyway. The sucker that at one point had been in her mouth slowly slid off her tongue as her mouth fell open in a mixture of shock and pure awe at what this boy had just done. The green candy swirled downward pivoting in the air making sure that the heaviest part was now falling first, but the shock that Lindsey was experiencing soon subsided. In one quick motion she grabbed the sour apple treat in mid air with no more motion then scooping something into her mouth as the candy was now replaced. A mixture of agility training and pure luck that maneuver was, but she had managed to pull it off with little more thought then not wanting to lose her candy. “Err…” she mumbled trying to decide whether or not to lie to him about his outfit. Sure he was at least being true to himself it seemed and that was good, but seriously being true to oneself and being color blind and a complete fashion disaster were two different things. He could be true to himself in other, less funny looking, ways. Oh well. Maybe it was not all that important what he was wearing. Would she have cared? No. Not if she was seeing that one special person, whom did not seem to exist anywhere on Earth or in space. She was tired of space. “Well I’m not her keeper you know. She’s probably just running a bit late. I mean people are allowed to do that right? It’s not like she is going to be attacked by some giant monster or something right?” “Anyway,” Lindsey continued walking and sitting down on the steps that led up into the house known as Suzaku. She leaned back on the steps and looked up at the sky. It was a wonderful day outside today. The perfect day to go out and do something until her show came on. “You have my approval if your just being yourself so don’t get all bent out of shape even if she doesn’t approve even though given your little romance with her she probably would be happy to see you in a tutu, even though none of the rest of us would.” A coy little smile slide across her face as the stick continued to work it’s way around her mouth. |

Liger watched her reaction, and just couldn't help but laugh. Though her agile replacement of hre falen candy was magnificent, Liger applauded a little in response. He could tell she was debating something in her head, probably wether or not to tell him off for wearing something so attrocious. He smiled, rotating his shoulder around, cracking it quietly. “You have my approval if your just being yourself so don’t get all bent out of shape even if she doesn’t approve even though given your little romance with her she probably would be happy to see you in a tutu, even though none of the rest of us would.” Liger gave a hearty laugh, her reply was gold, something he'd expect really. He flexed his fingers on the hilt over his shoulder for a moment, just an idol motion as his mind thought up a counter-retort. He thought, a tutu eh? That'd be pretty funny, he envisioned himself in a small pink tutu, his sword on his back, his aura around him. He broke down laughing, the image was just far too great for him not to. "You know, I think that might actually be possible..." He trailed off, thinking about how he may go about owning a tutu and gettingit by means that won't question his masculenity. He shrugged it off, it's not like it would matter much, he probably wouldn't do it anyway. Well, unless Aura asked him to. "So what brings you out here Lin? No James around to bug you?" |
