Faria made her way through the forest. Today she'd felt like fighting, but she had no one to spar with. She could have gone to the gravity chambers, but seeing as the last time she was there, if Damien and Caleb hadn't been there she'd probably have become some sort of red sludge that--she was sure--the janitors would not like to clean up. She sighed. "Monsters are probably harder to find than I thought..." Holding out her sie she wiped some branched from a bush away so she could continue. She'd decided that monsters probably stayed away from the path, so she'd wander somewhere just to the left of it. Little did she know that the path had long ago taken a sharp turn to the right, now somewhere miles from where she stood. She coughed, looking around. It was now late afternoon, the sun reaching the horizon fairly quickly. She sighed again, deciding it was probably too late to continue. She turned around and started walking back to where the path should have been... and she kept walking... and walking... Where the hell was it??? Her stomach dropped and she suddenly felt a little sick. She looked around quickly and started running, looking for the path. No, it had to be around her somewhere. In her hurry, she stumbled over a root and fell against a tree. She stopped to catch her breath, realization of her current state comming to her head hard and cold. "Damnit I'm lost!!!" She screamed out to no one, scaring several birds that had been perched in a tree nearby, her scream ending flat without and echo, insulated by the trees. "Dangit." She whispered to herself and kicked the tree. |

Jack had entered the forest hours upon hours ago. He had flown to the entrance as flying through tree many time proved to be a problem. He never considered himself lost even if he was climbing atop a tree and flying out of the forest would be just as easy as enetering the forest. His grim reaper like scythe hung from his back as he wandered around surveying plant and animal life signs. Nothin interesting had caught his eye until he found a birds nest. The birds were a new type he had never seen before and weren't that freindly he would soon learn. With a squawk the birds dove down at him pecking him until he decided to run then they clawed at him. He kept gaining more and more speed until he hit it...He hit a lone tree that simply knocked him on his rear, and caused a large headache. The bids left him alone at this point and time. However before long he heard a voice. He ran to see what t was keeping his cover. A girl...a lone girl. Time to play pranks on her he thought to himself before taking off running through the bushes letting his wings come out and carry him quicker circling the girl. He then Roared a loud noise like that of a large animal. |

"Ehhhh???" Faria's eyes grew wide and she stood bolt upright. She turned around in circles, looking for what had made that noise. Her heart started pounding faster and she cursed to herself. Finally, right when she was done looking for them, a monster had decided to show, or at least get near enough to hear, and not a small monster as it sounded. She yelled out, just a yell, to the hidden monster, a call of frustration and a taunt. She unsheathed her sie and stood, ready for it to come... but it didn't come. Standing, still alert, she listened. The roar seemed to be coming from above. A flying monster? Oh this really wasn't her day. She swung a high kick at the tree behind her out of frustration, almost on the verge of tears. Though, she wouldn't cry, she never did, just got really close. "Show yourself!" She called out to the air and she held her stance, ready or not, for the bird monster. No, she wasn't ready was she? This was such a stupid idea after all!!! |

Jack in his moment of glory burst out laughing. He couldn't hold it in anymore clutching at his sides. Not paying attention then he slammed himself into a tree branch falling to the ground in a in front of the girl. However during the fall he hide his wings. He looked at her and spoke "Hello." He then stood up dusting himself off and walking a short distance from her. Had he not laughed he would have been able to caryy on with his "game." The distance he but between them if she tried to attack would give him enough room to use his scythes handle to protect himself and maybe knock her off balance. THough he could just take off into the air to avoid it altogether. |

Faria's face turned red in both imbarrasement and anger. She wasn't intending on attacking him, but was tempted to. She suddenly wished that she had a little more skill with attacking thinking targets. She shouted instead. "What the hell do you think you're doing, scaring the sh*t out of people like that!?!" ((ooc--not sure how leniant AHS is on cursing ^^;;)) She threw one of her sie at the boy. She didn't mean to hit him, and she didn't. The sie burried itself into the ground, less than half and inch from his foot. Faria shuddered suddenly, realizing how much she'd suddenly sounded like her father. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers through her hair, trying to calm down. "What were you thinking?" She wasn't sure of his age, but she guessed by his immaturity of trying to scare her like that to be no more than a middle school kid, why was he at this high school then? |

When she shouted cringed as if she was going to hit him. At least she didn't try to attack him. However he found out shortly that wasn't perfectly correct. When he looked at he foot the weapon had landed a very short distance away. "I don't know, I thought it was going to be funny for us both. At least no one was hurt." He just watched her play her figners through her hair. "I wasn't thinking, I just sometimes like to play pranks on people." His wings then summoned themselves and began to flap causing a gust of air to shot at the girl and when that happened he vanished with a bunch of dust that surfaced. His scythe was held near the end the blade at her throat. "Now lets not get hasty with anger and try to hurt each other darling. It would be sad for someone to have to die. Though it would have to be me. It would be hard to harm a strand of that pretty hair on your head, or even you for that matter." Jack then removed his scythe from near her neck tossing it at the tree nearest them causing it to catch in the tree. |

Faria opened her eyes and stopped running her fingers through her hair, his scythe by her neck. She held her breath, her temper having dissolved into the wood of the forest. She didn't dare breathe. "Now lets not get hasty with anger and try to hurt each other darling. It would be sad for someone to have to die. Though it would have to be me. It would be hard to harm a strand of that pretty hair on your head, or even you for that matter." She stepped away from him quickly, unable to say anything in response. This guy's quick actions--undoubtly done without any pre-thought--worried her a little, and she was afraid what he'd do next. First she was lost in the forest looking for monsters, which was bad to begin with, then she was attacked by some phantom monster that turned out to be this boy. Now she was still lost in a forest in the company of the boy who was rather quick to act. The only thing she couldn't figure out right now was if she was better off now or earlier when she was just plain lost. She swallowed and chanced to say something. "I'm sorry, I have no intent on attacking you. I'm just lost and I have no way to get back to the campus." She thought about asking him if he knew how to get out, but really didn't want to ask something of him in case he somehow took it the wrong way and found her asking to be some sort of an insult. She backed up slowly, keeping herself facing the boy so he wouldn't try to startle her again, and retrieved her sie from where it was burried in the ground where he'd been standing before. She sheathed it along with her other one, figuring it better to put them away so neither of them would end up getting hurt. He was armed, obviously, but she felt it better her life to be in his hands at the moment. A thought crossed her mind about rougues in the woods, like stories she'd read when she was younger. She knew rape probably wasn't something on this guy's mind, though, but so far he'd been rather unpredictable. Though from what he said, he really had no intrest in hurting her. This made her a little easier. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it, deciding to give him a chance to respond. He seemed to be the one in charge at the moment. From his first impression, she didn't really like this guy much. |

"I see....I would say I was lost as well but I can just leave the forest anytime I please." Jack said with a smirk, "You also have no reason to be sorry, you didn't hurt me, or anything but startle me a bit. I should be the one who is sorry. I was the one who mae you do those things by scaring you not to mention I was the one with the scythe to your neck." Jack didn't think too much of the girl really. She was quick to anger or so it seemed and she was all impluse. A bad combination, for her, an easy target to subdue if needed. Jack was now at a disadvantage with his scythe buried in the trunk of the tree a short distance from him. Jack yet again used his wings to toss up a pile of dust and grass to conceal him yet again. He this time appeared right in front of her. A slight smile on his face as he took hold of her right hand. "How rude of me all of this time not to introduce myself. My dear, I am Jack." He brought her hand to his lips giving it a slight kiss. |

All of a sudden A boy scared out of his wits is hauling right by them then I scream"TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT MY PARENTS!!!!"All of a sudden a jet blac wolf with Ice blue eyes appears out of nowhere snarling and growling in rage hunting down the boy. For awhile it goes silent then a scream is heard.Moments later the wolf is dragging the petrified yet unharmed boy who peed on himself out the forest toward the school. |

She hesitated, quite confused at this point. One moment he was threatening to kill her and the next to make peace. She kept herself alert, but decided to take the opportunity for peace. "My name is Faria. It's a pleasure to meet you, Jack." Okay, she wasn't entirely sure why she'd added that last part. It wasn't entirely true, but maybe he really wasn't as bad as she'd thought. "So do you like to do that a lot to people? Playing pranks?" She'd cooled down a lot now and wasn't quite so angry. She felt better that his blade was in the tree, but his disappearing and reappearing made her slightly uneasy, unsure where he'd pop up next. All of the sudden someone and something ran past in the woods. Faria stared, drawing her weapons quickly. When the wolf came back into view with the poor boy she brandished her weapons fearfully. "Don't eat that kid. Humans aren't for wolves to consume." For the second, the wolf wasn't moving. But she felt terrible for the poor boy. One sudden movement from the wolf and she would be on top of it, totally having forgotten that she wasn't used to attacking live targets. Everything was changed now that someone's life was in danger. |

Jack shrugged off Sara for the moment. He seemed to run into her a lot at the school and her appearances as a wolf became quite known to him. Yet he did chuckle at the boy she had dragged out with her. "I do play pranks on everyone, it's just my nature, my way of getting noticed by others." Jack told her. Jack then stared at her deeply for a moment try to sieze up the type of person she was, yet he wasn't good at that type of thing so he gave up on it and chuckled at her. "You do have to admit it was kind of funny, how you were acting and even how I slammed into that tree. Had I not done that I would have dragged it on forever and then pretended to be your hero by getting rid of the monster..." |

Faria didn't take her eyes off the wolf, but shouted at Jack. "How can you laugh at this!?? Help him! Do something!" She shifted her weight slightly from foot to foot. She was glad that the boots she wore were old, and not new, so she could move easily in them, ready for almost anything. |

A friend of yours?" but growls snaps and snarls were all that came out |

"Darling Faria, take it easy. That boy deserved it if she went after him. I don't think she'll hurt him much." When Sara came up next to him and snarled and growled and such Jack replyed "Lord, anytime we meet it's the same, I don't know what you are saying." Jack then waited idely for Sara to talk to him in a language he could understand or just transform back to her normal state he was used to. |

Faria flailed at the wolf jumped on her. Of all the things she thought she was ready for, this wasn't one of them. When the wolf got off, she whiped her face quickly. Maybe this wolf wasn't wild? It acted like a pet dog. She'd never been allowed to keep pets before... She'd wanted a dog at one point, but her mother was frightened of dogs--not like she would ever be home to see it--and the appartments they lived in didn't allow pets. She'd had a cat once, in one of the appartment buildings... Her mom let her keep it, and Faria asumed that her dad had known. She'd had the cat a week before her dad found out. Faria shuddered, remembering what he'd done... The open window... all the yelling... She shook her head. Not now. She looked at the wolf again, wondering what it'd done with the boy. A pang of worry hit her. She stood up and talked to Jack. "So is this your beast?" She'd wanted to call it a dog, but it wasn't really a dog... and calling it a wolf just didn't seem right for something seemingly so friendly. |

"So is this your beast?" Jack rubbed the back of his head, and sighed a little bit. "Ummmm, no she isn't, at least to she I don't own her. SHe's an anqauintince of mine." Jack laughed a little bit not knowing what to say or do. This happened so suddenly, it was kind of funny but more serious on how Sara would react to being called a beast. Jack then went over to the tree walking his wings swaying back and forth a few feathers dropping from them. He jerked his scythe out, he might have to use this if a fight broke out between the girls. |

"and by the way I just scared the human.I won't attack anyone who is weaker no matter how much they despise of me...but when he insulted my parents...he went to far....so I scared him and he urinated on himself. The demons would have surely picked up his scent and attacked him so for his safety I dragged him out." Jack spoke to Sara "She's somebody I just met a short while ago." Jack felt a little odd with Sara here. Yet she did react the way he thought she would have except, she seemed to have calmed down near the end. He changed his stance to ready to move in a moments notice. He chuckled alittle bit though at least they hadn't gotten into a fight yet. It would be something to watch a little bit then try to break up. |

"Oh you don't need to leave." Faria called off after Sara. Sara seemed quiet an energetic girl and, along with Jack, Faria was a tad overwhelmed, not quite as energetic herself. As a matter of fact, though, she was quite appreciative of the company of another girl. She smiled and introduced herself with a polite bow, knowing she probably should have done the same with Jack... despite her having been a bit angered at the time. "My name's Faria. It's nice to meet you Sara. Sorry for calling you a beast, I had no clue that you... um..." Faria faded off awkwardly then. She wasn't as surprised as she thought she'd have normally been about Sara not really being a wolf and changing into... well a human or... no, not a human but... oh... a were-wolf? She didn't want to asume in case she was wrong. There were so many different people and races here that she'd never heard, or even immagined of, before and really didn't want to cause anyone any offense... Though she probably already did. Gah, she had to stop and think for a moment. This had been a really eventful evening and she was quite wearied from all the excitement. |

She rolled her eyes knowing that the girl was OBVIOUSLY confused. She perked up abit and changed tyo a human quickly wiping a tear from her face and she smiled saying that she's not a were-wolf but is a human/wolf hybrid. "A rare race."She said smiling. "don't worry if you thought that wasoffending it was not" |

((ooc-those thoughts were in Faria's head, she didn't say anything ^^> but that's alright.)) "Oh, that's pretty cool." Faria gave her a friendly smile. She noticed the tear on Sara's face and took a step closer, as if to comfort her, but then stopped, knowing that they still didn't really know eachother and unsure if the girl was open to comfort from strangers. Instead she talked to her, a hint of concern in her voice, but not enough to be upsetting. "Are you alright, hun? I'm not sure what he said to upset you, but I'm sure your parents were wonderful people." Faria wasn't sure about this, but remembering her own parents and the stongness of the bitter feelings she had towards her father at that moment added together to make a thought in her head that told her anyone's parents were better than her's. Anyways, if Sara defended her parents as she did, they probably weren't bad at all. Faria on the other hand would have joined in on scorning her own parents. |

Faria was unprepared for the sudden display of emotion. And realized, suddenly, that she rarely cried out herself (except for her artistic fits) and, not having been close enough to someone to see them cry, she was unused to it. She paused, dumb-founded, staring off after the wolf-girl. What should she do? She was no champion runner and she was lost enough as it was. Even if she was fast enough to catch up, she'd probably lose her somewhere in the woods and get lost again. Jack was still here though, and she'd rather be lost with someone than risk being lost with no one. She sighed, feeling terrible. Did she end up doing something to provoke her to become so upset? If she'd taken her anger out on the boy already, why was it still bothering her? Questions filled her head and the sudden thickness of drama made her head spin. If it was her fault for her parents being dead, then how was that? If she'd "eaten her parents" like the boy accused, then she'd have done it on purpose and why would she care so much? If she'd murdered them she'd almost for certain be in juvi or some hospital, not here. There was no other way for it to have been "her fault"... was there? No, not with so much guilt over it... Gah! Faria sat down on the ground hard, hitting her tailbone on a root. Her eyes watered, but she ignored the pain. She stared at the bush where the girl'd disappeared, feeling rather useless in this situation... So many questions too! |

Jack just watched things play through. He said nothing just watched for a short while. At one time leapng into the tree perching on it. After Sara had left "Sas isn't it, people care so much about the people that gave birth to them. I'm indifferent to those feelings. Never had any parents, just an old woman when I was around twevle take care of me. SHe's dead." Jack made a weird laugh to himself. He then floated down slowly the blade of his scythe straight up in the air. The staff like handle on the ground, jack sat on top of it carefully. "Her and I are so alike, is kind of makes me feel for her, but then it makes me sick to my stomach. She was a mistreated as I was, yet she seemes not to have ill feelings towards people, like I do. I have a thirst to kill them all but not the will to try to. I swear she likes me or something, it is like she follows me around all the time. I like it but I don't it makes me feel odd in a way." |

Faria gave him a half smile, unable to really smile at the moment. Though this was how she normally smiled anyway, so no matter... She sighed and shrugged. Such a bad turn this day was taking, eh? Not like it'd been good to begin with, but still. Sara seemed to have crush on him, hmm? Heh, not unlike herself, but with someone else... She didn't run into him a lot, but a lot more than anyone else she'd met so far at this school. He was handsome though and her... She didn't think herself pretty at all and she wouldn't be surprised if all of the sudden he announced some engagement to some velumtuous beauty. Not that someone so young would get married, but just... Faria sighed again. That's just how things happened with her. Not that it would happen, but she expected it to. She turned to Jack her half smile returning. "She seems like she'd be really sweet when she isn't upset, though." |

"Of course." Faria smiled now, feeling a little better herself, having had time to breathe. This girl really seemed like she could become a really great friend... But Faria didn't get her hopes up. She was used to not having any friends and really didn't mind being alone. Actually, she wasn't even sure if she'd like having friends, though she knew that they were good to have. Catching her chance, Faria decided to bring up her small deliema before either of them might run off again. Jack seemed likely to disappear at any moment, because that just seemed to be his thing, and Sara's emotions seemed to be pretty unpredictable for the moment and she was afraid she might run off again. "Heh, do either of you know how to get out of here?" |

A gentle wind, laced with a dark aura...to those sensitive to such things, the world suddenly felt...wrong...somehow. Then the voice, as cold as steel and as welcoming as the grave. "Pitiful. Lost in the woods, bickering back and forth like a bunch of spoiled, arrogant children...but I suppose you can't help it much, if that's what you really are." The voice was full of the same smug arrogance it accused those standing about of harboring. Glances about would eventually reveal the source of the voice, a boy leaning against a tree. His clothes were as dark as his personality, black boots melding into black pants, a black shirt, and even a black leather jacket despite the warmth of the day. Red eyes hid behind black sunglasses, the wind rustling jet black hair. The sword is what would draw most's attention, it's green and gold a distinct contrast to the otherwise dark attire, the six-foot-long weapon worn at the right side. The boy's arms were crossed, his mouth pulled up in a smug sneer. Pay attention, Riley. These pitiful creatures will someday marvel at your skill and power. Aku, why do you have to be so mean to everybody? These people never did anything to you... |

Strangely, Faria found herself unafraid of this boy. His sudden appearance had taken her by alarm, but he himself wasn't all that frightening. She frowned to him anyway, suddenly feeling herself very confident. This day was full of unpleasant surprises that she wasn't unused to, but very fed up with at this point. "Excuse me, you must be a bit mistaken." Her voice, also with a touch of ice, carried itself to the stranger. She turned on her boots slowly as she talked to face him. She felt the change in the atmosphere just barely, though, unknown to herself, it was such an aura that she'd grown up in, to an extent. "I'm afraid I'm the one who was lost. He merely found me and her, us." She indicated Jack and Sara. "For one so arrogant himself I find it odd for him to call others such. Though I do admire your bravery." She didn't want to fight him, but would defend herself if she must. She could hear herself talking to him in such a way that came to her rarely, but she didn't supress it. "I'm in no mood to deal with such immature kids that insist on being smart asses, and I'm sure my friends here aren't any more tollerant than I am. You can either help me in finding my way back to the campus or you can continue on your way, your choice." She realize then that her words had sounded like a challenge, but instead of weakening and telling herself to back off, she didn't. She was beyond such reason now. |

Aku, don't! Don't you dare hurt her! Be silent, Riley. I am in control now. "Well, well, I see the lost little lamb has some spunk...as for me being a child, I suggest you watch your tongue. My physical shell is exactly that and nothing more. I was around undoubtedly before even your grandest of sires was but a twinkle in their father's eye. You really should be careful whom you talk to in such a tone, little lamb. You'll find that some of us are not without our fangs..." The boy(?)'s left hand now rested on the handle of the lengthy blade at his side, the arrogant smirk never leaving his face. Aku...please....stop... |

"LISTEN UP HERE IF YOU EVEN DARE TOUCH ONE OF MY FRIENDS I SWEAR TO MY PARENTS GRAVE I WILL TEAR YOU TO PIECES!!!"My ears perked up as I heard a faint voice coming from the boy.Grunting and rolling my eyes I say."It's those damn split personality people" I growl eyeing him.I know how to get out of here follow me..." I turn into a human and repeat what I said."I known how to get out of here follow me..."I said with a voice as cold as my Ice blue eyes were.My pupils small and my color was an enraged Ice-like blue. |

Faria snorted, ignoring his warning, or whatever you'd like to call it. To her, now, it was nothing less than a taunt. Who was he to call her a lamb. In every way she was nothing like a lamb, except maybe the lost part, but she could take care of herself, even if she didn't find someone who knew the way back to the campus. Unknowingly to her something inside her head had snapped and she wasn't about to back down or get startled like she had been earlier. She heard what Sara said, but didn't listen all the way. If they just left this kid didn't look like he'd let them go so easily, or at least in her mind. Somehow she was aware of what Sara had said in her wolf form, that this guy was actually two in the same body. Somehow she knew that the one she was speaking to wasn't the owner of that body. Faria stood up straight, but her sie were no harder to reach than his blade was and she was ready to draw them whenever. "You may be an old fart, but you still have the body of a kid and your abilities are only limited to those strengths." She stressed out the words "old fart" as she spat in his direction, her strange fury unabating. "And as for those with fangs, you shouldn't asume others to be without so, yourself! Arrogant -------!!" She hissed her curse at him unwilling to back down, unable to back down from his challenge. She was aware of his power, aware that he had power, but she found it foolish to think himself the only one with power, a small advantage on her part. She wasn't as weak as she looked, even if she hadn't much practice with fighting people, she didn't care anymore. She'd "danced" a few times with her mother, she felt she was ready enough. |

(OOC: Feh. I'll just roll with it. The best RPer is the one who can adapt.) The boy raised an eyebrow as the beast-girl snarled at him, then charged and bit down on the still-sheathed sword. The scabbard shattered into a thousand wooden shards, as the blade pulled free the girl's teeth hit nothing but air. "Stop it. Please. You're embarassing yourself..." The boy moved with surprising agility, pushing himself off of the tree he'd been leaning against and landing in a fighting stance. The blade of the green and gold sword now hummed with a pulsing red aura, the wind beginning to pick up. Within, two souls raged like a whirlwind against each other. With practiced ease, Akuryuu reached into the calm, the Eye of the Storm. Slowly he ran his finger along the side of the six-foot sword, the aura strengthening wherever his finger touched. "Ja ne, baka ama..." The sword flashed through the air, the aura thursting forward, forming a glowing red beam that shot towards the wolf-girl. "KENJITENRAI!" No..no...stop... |

Faria, noticing the guy's attack aimed at Sara, gained a little of her reason back and she lunged at Sara. She pulled her out of the way, just in time, but some of the energy grazed past the back of her boot. ((not quite sure what the energy's supposed to do, but here's a guess...)) The part of her boot that was hit fizzled away, leaving the back of her leg exposed and red. She hissed at the pain but otherwise ignored it, still not herself. Sara was otherwise unharmed, luckly, and Faria let her go. She jumped up repeating what he'd said to herself with another snort, the end of her mouth curling up in slight disgust. "baka ama...!" So maybe it wasn't the strongest of names one could be called, but it was enough. She didn't feel much like showing him up with curses, for she knew her words, but glared at him instead. Lightning quick she yanked a sie from her damaged right boot and sent it flying for his head. Like Jack's foot, she didn't mean to hit him and the blade burried itself in the tree, closer to his head than it'd been to his foot, showing her abillity with her weapon. The sie went deep, so only the weilder could pull it out, lucky for her, and she tossed the other one up and caught it threateningly, still unafraid. She shouted at him, holding her left blade next to the right side of her face, ready to throw at any moment she deemed ready. "The next one's not gonna miss." |
