Harker sat with his back against one of the numerous trees in the courtyard, trying to relax and take in the scenery. It somehow had not yet truly hit him that this was his home for the next four years, possibly longer. He had been here less than a day, and already he was starting to miss England. He fluffed the hood of his sweater slightly for use as a pillow, and pushed his lightly-tinted sunglasses a bit farther up his nose. I wonder what time it is back home...? |

Kei walked into the courtyard, not quite sure what to do. He had just got out of class, and his next wasn't scheduled for an hour, and he was yet to really make a friend here at AHS. "Kei, you're a damn fool. No-one is your friend because you're so stupid and ugly." called a voice from his hip. His Hybrid Sword was, as usual, tied to his belt and complaining about everything he could. "Well how about this, Hybrid, how about if you're so cranky about being down on my hip, why don't you change into a staff and I can carry you." said Kei, tired of hearing the sword complain. He looked around at all of the people that were in the courtyard, seeing various different conversations happening at once, seemingly oblivious to each other. Others walked or sat alone, immersed in their thoughts. His train of thought was interrupted by the whooshing sound of the Hybrid Sword changing shape, and he grabbed it to keep it falling to the ground and yelling at him constantly. "Is that better?" he asked, hoping to avoid a confrontation with an inanimate object. "Well, I guess. But still, it vexes me to have your slimy hand on me all the time." |
