*After the excitement of graduation had finished, he had finally been hit by reality like a ton of bricks. He had nowhere to go. He had yet to find out if the colleges he applied for would accept him, but he had little hope of getting into one since due to his horrible grades he was sure he'd fail his entrance exams. Unfortunately, now had been the time his guitarist decided to leave the band, never to return. AJ was completely crushed; he and James had high hopes for this band -- and now it seemed to be all over. At least James had his science stuff to fall back on, but AJ was a different story, as his talents were only in fighting (and the military would send him back to Australia and away from Komala) and music (and without a guitarist his band would fail, and he's completely tonedeaf without instruments behind him). Therefore, he must get his band back together. He must accomplish the other dream that he almost got to see through to completion. Therefore, he did the one thing he could do. He rented out the auditorium in the hopes that he could find a guitarist. Even a bassist would do since he could re-learn the guitar part but could not re-arrange the songs to make them playable by only a guitarist and a drummer. James decided to join in the auditions, since it would still be a while before his college classes started and he too wanted the band to keep going. Now the tough part had begun: waiting to see if anyone would audition. |

Gojairu walked spritely down the hall to the auditorium. Wearing a loose white tanktop, some jeans, and her guitar on her back. A band, she had'nt been in a band since her days on the road. She walked in, putting her hands on her hips and looking at the two boys, "Alright clothes off, who's first?" She asked tonelessly, she then grinned as they looked at her completely shocked (sorry for modding) "Im just kidding, Im her for the auditions." She said walking up to them |

*James is a bit caught off-guard as she tells him to take his clothes off. He wasn't expecting that; then again, that's exactly what he should have expected. He laughs a bit when he realises that she's just kidding. AJ, on the other hand, had a different interpretation of that comment. He was a bit surprised for about a second but then remembered that some people picture the audience in their underwear when they perform, so maybe she's one of those people. He begins to lower the top of his gi off of his shoulder, but then she says that she's kidding, so he puts it back on. AJ: Awesome ^_^ *He takes out a few of the songs that he wrote, which would come into play in the second part of the audition.* AJ: First, introduce yourself and then let's hear what you can do. ^_^ |

Gojairu looks over at AJ, grinning "You cheeky boy..." She said chuckling and took her guitar off her back. She plugged it in to a small amp she had bought with her. "This is an oldie...I dont think you guy's would remember this guy. This is an old song by a mister Nakaori pyon asai." She said smiling and started strumming. I got a feelin' concealed by fears. I try to talk to you, but my words fall on deph ears. What am I to do Its true that I want you my fears bring tears of skyblue doubt. But if you dont want me, ill simply take my leave. cause in the end your one ill live without. She strummed the last chord closing her eyes in a moment of thought. "That was just the first verse" She said opening them again and smiling. "How'd I do?" |

*AJ listens as she performs her song. He starts scribbling down notes, though he also has this recorded, so that he can remember what he was thinking as he watched it. He is writing down quite a few positive comments -- he also likes the song; he's a fan of classic rock, so he recognises the song -- or at least remembers hearing it a few times. He applauds, as does James.* AJ: Very good. ^_^ Now, the second part of this is how well you can learn the songs. I have four songs in front of me; you can look them over a bit and let me know which one you'd like to try. Of course, it isn't a requirement that you know how to sight-read music, so don't worry too much about it. *He gestures to the four sheet music pages in front of him, arranged from easiest on the left to toughest on the right.* |

(Agh, evil comp made me write this out twice...the first time was much better) "Hrm...Whats that..." Akakage looked at an open door, from which came the most beautiful sound she had ever heard. A Guitar...playing a classical Guitar solo...and masterfully done, as well. She slowly crept up, and peeked through the door. Two boys sitting down, not a clue who they were...and a girl, letting rip with the most awesome music Akakage had ever heard. "She can play...she has her own Guitar...and she's HOT! What more could a guy ask for?" Still, Akakage still had no way to get her attention. She had no Guitar, wasn't nearly as good, and would probably be rated a few notches less cute...."Hrm...the first one, I can handle...hehe..." Akakage grinned, and pulled forth her almighty Credit Card of Doom. "Second, I can rely on Volume..." A plan was forming in Akakage's mind, a plan to win over the heart of a true goddess of Rock. "And third aint really that important! Hehe..." Shortly thereafter, Akakage returned, now carrying a Guitar case under one arm, an Amp under the other, and a Bandanna keeping her rather messy hair out of her own eyes. "Hrm....they seem to be talking now....perfect...." Akakage slowly crept through the Auditorium doors, and over to one of the corners. It took her a few moments to find a socket on the wall and plug the Amp in, and a few more to get the Guitar plugged in and to her liking, but luckily not too long. Now came the Question, what song would impress such a Goddess of the Guitar. The temptation to play some of her more...insulting songs was powerful, but she resisted that path and went for a more...likable approach. A quick twist of the Gain on her Amp, and a flick of the switch, and soon her Amp was sprawing out a steady drone of growling static. Akakage grinned, took hold of a pick, and started plucking out a slowly rising melody, filling the Auditorium once again with the sound of a Guitar. "Fortune, Fame...Miror Vain..." She built up as she sang "Gone insane" Akakage silenced her Guitar, and sang out atop her voice "But the Memory Remains!" and with that, she gave an almighty thrash of her Guitar and flying into a Solo of Semi-Doom. The Amp roared as she continued singing "Heavy rings on fingers wave Another star denies the grave See the nowhere crowd Cry the nowhere cheers of honor Like twisted vines that grow Hide and swallow mansions whole In light of an already Faded prima donna Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... But the memory remains Heavy rings hold cigarettes Up to lips that time forgets While the hollywood sun sets Behind your back And can’t the band play on Just listen, they play my song Ash to ash Dust to dust Fade to black Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... Dance little tin goddess Nananananana nananada nananananana nanananadana Nananananana nananada nananananana nanananadana Drift away Fade away Little tin goddess Ash to ash Dust to dust Fade to black Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane... But the memory remains Ash to ash Dust to dust Fade to black... But the memory remains Faded prima donna Dance little tin goddess dance Nananananana nananada nanananana nanananadana Nananananana nananada nanananana nanananadana" Akakage let the last note fade slowly, before flicking off the Amp, lowering her Guitar to the floor, and making her way over. "I sure hope that worked..." Akakage mumbled to herself as she approached them, getting nervious to the point that her hands were visibly fidgeting. Finally, she looked up at their faces, a little bit embarraced. "This is an open audition, right?" |

*AJ and James were a bit caught off-guard at first, especially since they didn't see Akakage come in; she came in quietly, so they didn't really think to look up. Then, she started playing the song; AJ jumped a bit, and James jumped a bit further, and they both watch as Akakage plays her song. They are definitely impressed by her guitar-playing; AJ did not have his notes handy but the video camera was a different story, as he had never stopped the recording. At the end of the song, AJ and James both applaud. AJ and James had specified on the sign that the audition was open, and they had hoped that many people showed up, so they had absolutely no problem at all with it.* AJ: That was awesome! ^_^ You are right in saying that it is an open audition. Of course, just so that I know your name and stuff like that. Also, now that you're both here, we can start up the next part of the audition after you do. |

Akakage's grin spread clear across her face as AJ praised her Guitar Playing, and her nervious fidgeting soon changed into Anticipation Fidgeting. Aka's eyes difted over to look at Gojairu, then back at AJ, before finally she introduced herself. "I am Akakage Meyou, although most call me Aka...I'm kinda new here, Got my room in the Byakko Dorm...I was, ah, exploring...and I happened to hear such a level of awesomeness playing in here, that I was inspired to at least Try to Win over the heart of the Player..." "ERK! I mean...I'm totally not here on some whacked love interested, I wanna be in your band!" Akakage nodded, trying to cover up her mistake. She had been doing it a lot lately, blurting out her secrets, and keeping silent what she was supposed to say. "Uhm....next part? Whatty is it?" |

*AJ extends his hand to shake hers. As usual, the comment about her trying to win over Gojairu goes right over his head. James catches it, but he decides not to say anything about it; after all, it just slipped out of her mouth, so there was no point in making a big deal.* AJ: It's nice to meet you ^_^ *He gestures towards the copies of the songs that he wrote, arranged in difficulty from easiest on the far left to toughest on the far right.* AJ: Here I have four songs -- easiest on the left, toughest on the right. This is to see how well you sound in a group. So, pick any of these four songs and we can begin. |

Akakage looked at the music sheets laid out on the table, and picked up the sheet furthermost to the left. "I'll start easy, hehe...Do we get time to practice? Or just jumpy straight in?" Akakage asked as she quickly browsed through the song, trying to figure out how it would sound in her head. Soon enough, unable to properly visualize it in her mind, Akakage began whistling the tune. Still not properly visualized in her mind, Akakage gave in, and ran over to where she had left her Guitar. She flicked the power switch back on her Amp, and donned the Instrument of Awesomeness, before finally looking a bit confused. "Hey Mister, should I keep it like this..." Akakage plucked out the first few notes, letting out a deep throated growl from her Amp on par with some of the more awesome Death Metal bands, before using her right hand to silence the instrument, and her left to turn down the gain, and mess with a few other options. "Or would you prefer it played in this style?" She plucked out the same notes again, eliciting a more classical rock sounding music, very similar in sound to an acoustic guitar, but obviously not. |

*The song that he chose was originally intended to be sung as sorta a hard rock-type song, though it would be sort of interesting to hear the song as a kinda classic rock style. He supposes that either way would work. Also, lots of bands release kinda "acoustic" remixes of some of their songs, and AJ always had been a fan of classic rock.* AJ: Maybe we could try it both ways and see which sounds better ^_^ |

Akakage grinned, and turned the Gain back to its previous level, a low growling vibration filling the hall as she accidentally strummed the strings with her sleeve. A Quick crack of her knuckles, and she figured she was ready to play. A grin formed on her face as an Idea came into her head, and raising her right hand into the air, she spoke. "I dedicate this to all my fans, my family, the people who made me the rock star I am today, and most of all, MYSELF!" She laughed at her own joke, and hammered home with a defeaning thrash of the Guitar, before going into the actual song itself with a very Heavy Metal-ish approach |

*It sounded, to say the least, awesome. AJ and James were both impressed by it; they, of course, had to let both people auditioning play before they decided who would be in the band, but they knew that she had a lot of talent when she was playing it. They scribble down notes quickly as she plays.* |

Gojairu grinned as the other girl had just stolen her show. "Now now, its not nice to interupt people!" She said, strumming hard on her guitar, matching the song Akakage was playing, sounding slightly less Metal-ish. "A rival?...perhaps.." Gojairu said grinning wider "Shes good." |

*AJ and James both share the same sentiment -- this was going to be a tough call. Maybe there's a way to keep both of them -- after all, they are both excellent guitarists, and it wouldn't kill them to have a quartet rather than a trio.* |

"Meeeep! I'll never impress her if she outplays me!" Akakage thought silently to herself, as she played the music. Akakage was trying her hardest, but a few mistakes would occasionally creep through, and this disturbed Aka greatly. Aka let out a slight whine as a really bad mistake was made, and quickly decided to change the pace... "Lessee iffy you can keep up with Thissy!" Akakage grinned, And plucked out a fast paced string of notes, sounding much like a Guitar version of the Duelling Banjo's. |

Gojairu's grin widened, her eyes nearly buldging out of her skull. Even if she didnt make it into the band, she was having more fun than she'd had in years. She plucked along with her, creating her own rytham of notes to match hers. She laughed, laughed in pure delight of this challanger who was becoming a barrel of fun. She jumped off the stage, sliding across the auditorium floor, and continued to play all the while. |

Akakage's guitar began screaming as again she redoubled her efforts in an attempt to out-do the girl who she was so in love with. The Auditorium was alive with the sound of duelling Guitars, and sweat poured down Akakage's face, and soon, she came to the end to end all ends, with a quick set of sharp plucks followed by the ear splitting thrash of doom. All six strings snapped with a metallica "TWANG!" and flicked away from her, one strong scoring a neat little cut on her right wrist as it went. Akakage collapsed to her knees, and wiped the sweat from her forehead, before looking at AJ. "So....did we getty in?" |

*AJ and James are both very impressed by their performance. They both have an incredible amount of talent, and they honestly can't choose between the two. Then again, James then thinks of something. Who said that LMF had to be three people? They could have two guitarists; that would even be to their advantage since they could do more with two guitarists.* JAMES: I think both of them should be in ^_^ AJ: Yeah -- now that you mention it, we could have two guitarists. JAMES: Yeah! AJ: Okay, we've made our decision -- you're both in the band! Congratulations! (OOC- Sorry for the long wait -- I didn't realise it had been that long ^o^ Don't worry; I haven't forgotten about the SL.) |

"Well well cutie, it seems we got in" She said winking at Akakage, panting hard as sweat poured down her face. It was hard work rocking so much. She stood up and nodded "Thanks." She said to James and AJ. She walked over to akakage, putting a hand out to help her up, shouldering her guitar. "I like your playing." |

"Ooooog....I think I pulled about fifty muscles...." Akakage looked up, and took hold of Gojairu's Outstretched hand. Aka's mind raced with thoughts, mostly consisting of "SHE'S TOUCHING ME! WOOHOO!" and thoughts along them lines. With a quick pull, Akakage was standing again, if a bit unstable. Akakage's brain finally registered the word "Cutie" comming from Gojairu, and her heart went into overdrive, causing her cheeks to go bright red, and in one triumphant statement of weirdness....Akakage fainted, falling to the floor ina twitching, semi-consious pile, mumbling over and over the phrase "My goddess thinks I'm cute!" before breaking into a half insane laughter. |

*AJ is glad that they both got in. Of course, the shoujo-ai aspect would go over his head if it was anything BUT shoujo-ai ... but in this case he catches onto it immediately. Of course, this kinda adds a bit more to it since not only did he get a band together ... he might've gotten two people together as well too! That's when Akakage falls to the floor, causing AJ immediately to jump from his seat and try to catch her. Unfortunately, he trips over one of the table legs and also falls to the floor, landing next to her. He gets back on his feet and joins James, who had already made his way over to her.* AJ/JAMES: You all right? |

Gojairu blinked as akakage fainted. She looked around, shuffling her feet and whistling. As AJ and James walk over she inches behind them, then slowly and sneakily makes her way out of the gym. "Later miss akakage. Next time I hope we meet on more than the battle feild" She thought to herself grinning. |

Akakage waved to Gojairu as she watched the girl leave, both eyes glazed over slightly and her face with a look of that of a person longing to hug something. After a moment, Aka's eyes finally un-glazed, and she let out a quiet "Goodbye, my goddess" Akakage then looked up at AJ and James, and went slightly red with embarracement. "I'm okay I'm Okay!" She blurted, and scurried to her feet again, and brushing the dust off her clothes. "She's so cuuuuute....ERK! I mean....I needta get some new Strings...uhhhh....wanna come? And when do we have our first Jamming session?" |

*They both heard the comment about her being cute, but they don't really think too much of it; after all, they had already noticed that there was a "connection" between the two of them that had formed already. They're just glad that she's all right.* AJ: Ah, sure ^_^ JAMES: Me too! AJ: As for the next jamming session, it's the day after tomorrow at 7, if you can make it. |
