The living dead girl sat at the edge of the lake. She was located on top of an oversized gray rock that clashed with her settings. In a way that rock was a lot like Kairen, herself. Other then the oversized part of course. It looked like it didn't belong just as the dead didn't belong with the living. Still it sat there, strong and beautiful, never giving into the crashing waves of the lake.

The the now blue haired girl sighed and looked into the sky. It had been a long time sense she had gone to this spot. Still the measure had to be taken. Desh knew of her where abouts or had a slight fear that she was still alive. All the same, he was on to her. She needed to think of a plan to kill him, rather then just hiding till she could find a sword maker.

Maybe letting him know might just give her some satisfaction. The boy would be scared out of his mind and that brought her joy. Still she wanted a sword before she made any attempt to kill. The Kairen folded her arm's across her chest, still deep in thought. Her eyes seemed to be focused on nothing.

She had left this school so suddenly at the news of Desh thinking that she was still alive. He could have some spies come into the school but after a month they would have left. She didn't tell James about this though and at that thought her heart sank.

Did he forget about her? Most likely he just moved on like most boys do. Kairen did her best to hold in the tears she wanted to shed so badly. She missed him and as much as she hated to admit it, she wanted to be with him. He was like her pozac for whenever she was mad or depressed. Still could he accept her for the blood thirsty girl she was. He certainly could put up with all her back talking and angry fits so maybe, just maybe it would work. The only other problem would be that she was dead. Could the dead love the living?

The girl just shut her eyes and relaxed in the afternoon sun. She was wearing a black bikini that held together by tieing the ends together on the side. Her top looked like a sports bra that had a modest look to it but still showed off some of her cleavage. Her deep blue hair was put up into a high pony tail that was put up with a white bow. Her blue hair still traveled to her knees. The bow's lace went down to her waste and the loops of the bow where about 1/2 the size of Kairen's head. She laid her self down on her back and begun to fall asleep on top of the over sized gray rock.

What time was it? Sadly, he had no watch to check such a thing. He looked at the position of the sun as it blinded him for being so very bold. Squinting at it he determined that is was much later than he actually wanted it to be. A sigh escaped his lips as he decided it be best to go. He had left care of Emma in the hands of Lindsey early that morning and while the doll really did not need anyone to care for her it was just best that he had someone keep her occupied so she did not stockpile his computer with viruses, or flood his dorm room, or break the T.V., couch, sink, shower in some hideous act of boredom. Frankly James just wanted to be alone this morning and read. Nothing like curling up with a good book by the lake—especially on such a hot day as one usually gets both a good read and very nice visualization if one was lucky. The said visualization were girls in bathing suits, bikinis, whatever that may be fashionable most of them could make it look absolutely fantastic. Too bad he had to cut his excursion so short though as it was time to go pick up the aforementioned doll. Lindsey seemed to like having the company, but her roommate; the beautiful winged Amazon lady as he liked to call her (not to her face of course as that could mean trouble), was not so fond of the little doll running around. Upon their first meeting she seemed rather open to getting to meet the little doll, but sometimes Emma’s little games start to rub people the wrong way…

Rubbing his eyes briefly he replaced his spectacles and stood up from the ground. A yawn and some stretching quickly followed suit as he hefted the book up with him. As much as he would have liked to stay viewing the glorious lake, the surroundings, and most of all its’ inhabitants it was time to mosey back to the dorms and pick up his ‘sister’ as the case would be. He left the little spot and began walking around the lake to return to campus. It was a wonderful day out at least for walking and certainly a wonderful day for spying with his little eye.

It may seem rather perverted to head to the lake and sit just watching the girls as they swam too and fro, but that was not what he was doing. He was reading and if he just happened to catch an eyeful while he was sitting by the normally calm and pleasant to read by lake – well that was just coincidence was it not? Just as it was coincidence that a large gray rock was placed near the lake. He had pondered on it earlier about it seemed so out of place. Now it seemed even more out of place as it had grown a set of legs, at least from his vantage point it had seemed thusly. A pair of nice feminine legs to boot. Under normal circumstances he would have gone over and talked to the girl as quickly as he had seen her. Just a quick introduction and a little light chatter before going on his merry way leaving another girl on his mind, but not today. He was rather distracted by many things when it came to women. He had met two girls that he had grown rather fond of and it seemed that, as much as he would like to think that he was a ladies man, he always made them disappear as well. Maybe it was no fault of his own that they always seemed to leave him, but it hurt him a bit. Kairen could likely be dead again for all he knew, hopefully she was not, but there was a chance that Desh had gotten to her once more or she had fulfilled her promise and took her own life upon talking his. It was not something he was looking forward too and maybe he should have stayed closer to her. To try and stop her from doing such things, but he did not know how to do so.

Depression was starting to seep in and he could feel it. He sighed and maybe the best idea was to try and move on. If Kairen had actually gone through with it then why should he care? He had these feelings bubbling up within him, but if she did take her own life then she must not have felt the same way. Her uncaring exterior that covered that loving caring heart was what he really liked about her. She was rough on the outside, which of course was normal for what she had been through, yet it did not seep down to her caring heart even though she tried to hide it from others. Sadly, it seemed that maybe she was gone and that maybe it was best just to move on. Love was a fickle mistress she was.

“Good afternoon. It is a lovely day to be out sunbathing is it not,” James said trying to sound chipper and happy, but it was still a little hard to do so. Sure he could use his ploy as a sympathy bit, but that seemed a little underhanded all and all. He approached the rock and peered over to reveal a pretty girl with blue hair. Blue hair was very rare and quite the spectacle to be witnessed, especially on girl with such a lovely figure and nice face. Her face though… it looked familiar. “Miss Kairen?” It was she! Insurmountable joy waved over him, but like the tide it immediately left him bare as he was now in a little bit of trouble. Kairen had always had a mean streak and even though he had flirted little by little he did not want to make it seem so obvious.

“Is it not Miss Kairen? A lovely day? You are looking radiant today,” he covered quickly even though he was not really lying. He had never seen her wearing anything so… revealing. The few times they had talked she had always been wearing a very fashionable kimono, but she was a normal girl and this proved it. Just because she had died at one point did not mean that she was dead now and was acting quite like a normal girl would. Sadly he was making quite a fool of himself. “You changed your hair… I mean to say that it looks very good on you,” he paused momentarily, which was just enough time to kick himself mentally for acting like such a clod. “How have you been lately? I was actually fearing the worst about you.”

Kairen's eyes darted quickly to the bow who came around the side of the rock. When she saw that it was James, for a second he should see a slight sweet smile on her face. It was quickly caught by Kairen who's face went back to it's emotionless state. " James..." She said jumping down from the rock. As she straitened out her body, her golden eyes starred into his.

" The day was a little hot for me so I thought I would go swimming." She then watched him carefully as she spoke again. " I needed to change my hair color so that Desh wouldn't be able to see me from a far." It felt so good to talk to James after a long time. She really had missed him and everything always seemed right when she was around him. She had noticed that he always took precaution when talking to her so that she wouldn't get mad. The thought made her want to smile. " James I." She went to say something but then stopped her self. Her eyes betrayed her and showed sadness in there golden pools.

She moved suddenly and brought her arms around his shoulders. She buried her face into his chest, her grip was that of comfort and not tightness. " Desh found out that I could be alive somehow. I needed to go away from this school in case he sent spies to find out what happened to the spy I killed. I am sorry but I had to leave right after that fight. I figured that after a month Desh would have figured I wasn't here. I can't tell you how sorry I am for not letting you know where I was going." She said this with a crack in her voice. She realized how much James must have missed her and how worried he must have been. Her time away from this school had let her become just a little more open to this world. She could now feal all the emotions that Caleb had forced her to feal before she left the school but still did her best not to show them. "James I missed you when I was away."

“Swimming? That seems rather nice.” Yes, that seemed perfectly logical for why she was wearing a swimsuit. She looked very good in it as well; that however was him thinking with his eyes and not really with his heart. Certainly he had longed to see her for such a long time, but he had never once said anything to anyone about. Emma was happy that he had been spending more time with her then he had been previously when he had been trying to spend his time with Kairen, even though most of the time that was in vain. Lin had started playing softball, or at least trying to teach it to her roommate how to play the game. It seemed like it was a completely alien concept to the girl and it left Lindsey rather busy so James was left absolutely alone. Alone with his feelings of abandonment.

His loyalty to the thought that maybe, just maybe the feelings he felt was not just friendship, but maybe that it was love made him stay with the idea. He flirted that was true, but that was just his nature. A kind word to a pretty face was nothing bad was it? He mimicked his grandfather, not quite as bad, but he still did it. It was a bad influence, but his grandfather had also given him a sense of honor and decency that kept him a gentleman. The thought that remained on his mind was if it would be possible to love such a hateful bloodthirsty girl? Yes, because there was more to her than that. He had never given up hope and given into that fear that maybe she was truly gone from his life. That she was dead or she did not want to face those emotions again. That feeling of love that she could possibly be feeling at that very moment. There were times, like at this moment, when she stuttered and would not admit her true feelings. Was she scared of admitting that she could even feel the emotion of love once again? Was it that she was trying to protect him from getting hurt later on or was she not as infatuated with him as he previously thought.

Maybe he was just a little to ahead of himself. Love never came so easy. Yes, it was easy to see that he really liked to be around her because of that passion and kindness that she showed. He however did not like the idea of her going around killing others even if they did kill her first. An eye for an eye never really solved anything and in this case it would be a life for a life, or even more then that. He was happily relieved when she took solace in him once again. Her lithe arms reaching around his neck as she held him close. A momentary overwhelming feeling hit him like a ton of bricks or maybe something a little less cliché, but the fact still remained that she was seemingly much more open. The feeling fled and he hugged her close trying to comfort her once more. She was a loving girl as he had expected what came next really did not matter.

“Miss Kairen I missed you as well. Fearing the worst had happened to you put me at wits end. I understand why you did what you did though, but I wish you had informed me in some way,” he sighed squeezing her a little to make sure this was not a dream and that she had really come back to him safe and sound. She was here and she was fine and that was all that really mattered at the moment. She was okay, but there were a few things that worried him. “Miss Kairen, why did you not tell me that you were in imminent danger? How did Desh find out that you were still alive for that matter? Forgive me Miss Kairen. I should not be so up front about this at this moment. You must be very tired. How long have you been back?”

Kairen put her hand to her forehead and sat on the rock. Sliding over to give James some room to sit, she started to speak again. " I just don't know any more. I don't know how Desh found out about me, though I suppose it might have something to do with Kilayame owning the other half of my soul. I don't know why he would suspect me at a school nor do I know if spies might be here." She sighed and laid back as she felt her back getting sore from her long journey, living out in the wilderness was harsh.

She closed her eyes and relaxed her false badly as best she could. " James...I said I had to leave the school ASAP. I couldn't take any chances of more spies showing up. " Turning her head to look at him, she gave him an evil glare. " And I don't like repeating my self." She closed her eyes and laid in the sun still. She felt bad for snapping at James but she was on the edge about all this Desh stuff. " I just got back an hour ago." She remembered his last question then opened her eyes again to look at James.

"Does what I am wearing bother you? James...what brought you to a swimming area today? " She cocked an eyebrow and evilly smirked. She had notice James looking at her body in the bathing suit. If it was another man she would have been very upset right now but James she had a lot more fun toying with. She realized by now his perverted ways that he exempted her from for fear of death. Yet it kinda mad her angry how he would flirt with other girls but not her. Could it be she was jealous? Who knows, maybe she just is sick of men wanting sex. Either way, when Kurumi had hugged and flirted back with James it had always bothered her.

Kairen stretched after a moment of thoughts yawning, showing off her sharp fangs. " I am so tired." She said during her yawn. " I was living in the F!@#ing woods so Desh couldn't find me. Now I have to deal with my body aching. This is just F!@#ing great." She said mainly to her self getting up and arching her back, backwards.

It was truly wonderful to see Kairen again. That thought that had badgered him for so long. – The thought that maybe she was dead. It was a very sad thought in the back of his mind. The thought that he could have lost her was nearly overwhelming and he had done his best to tell himself it was nothing more then a lie and it was. Here he was holding her once more in his arms. She was the happy loving girl that he thought she was. It was something that she only showed him though. He wished, secretly, that she would act nicer to others. He had not seen her in quite a while so things could possibly be different yet again. She seemed much more angry over the whole situation, but that was most likely only because it was a rather infuriating ordeal to begin with.

He quickly took the seat she had offered him. It truly was a lovely day outside. The sun and the cool breeze that flew off the lake made it a wonderful place to spend the day with friends. Here he had come just to read and see what he was missing out as he slowly wallowed in self-pity. He had grown rather lonely without a girl to fawn over, but know it was different. Happiness was finally returning to him. It was Kairen that had done it. Seeing her face was both a shock and a relief. Blue hair or not he had been thrilled to see her here, not just because she was showing off skin, but also because he had actually missed her.

It seemed rather odd to many people that he had been so not like himself as of late, but as he listened to her he realized that many people were just rather silly. She was not bad at all if you got to know her. She was just scared of being killed again by her ex. There was nothing wrong with that. Scary was not a word you could use to describe her, but that was unless she did not glare at you like she was. Then you could use it. James smiled lightly and apologized for having made her repeat herself. He just wanted to know why that she could not have told him… maybe he would have gone with her? It was certainly possible, given the circumstances that he may have gone with her. She, however, seemed more then capable. In fact she was more then capable. He knew that already.

“Does it bother me? Oh…no of course not. I do not see why that would bother me in the slightest. I mean it is not like I have not seen pretty girls in bathing suits before. I mean there are quite a few here today… Not that I was here to look at girls in bathing suits mind you. It was just that the lake is a rather nice place to read you see. It has lots of shade and the breeze from the lake is incredible. Can you feel it on your face right at this moment,” he asked rather nervously. He had blathered and once again made a fool of himself in front of her. She was an enigma even though he seemed to be the only one that actually knew her. Why could he not act like he did with other girls? ‘Bother me? You look simply ravishing in it. The world thanks you.’ That should have been what he had said. He would have said it to any other girl too. Why could he not say it to her? Fear mostly. That was what it was. Pure and simple. She had kissed him, that was true, but he worried that maybe it had just been a kiss with nothing more behind. One person could kiss another with no actual intention in mind other then going on with the conversation. He had never been kissed before. That was true and she had fixed that. Simple as that. It was quick and painless, but most of all surprising. At least that was how he remembered it.

There were many things that he could say to her as he tried not to stare at her. She arched her back and yelled how sore she was. He could easily offer to massage her back. Granted it was rather just a ploy. He did not have any knowledge on how to give an actual massage. His fingers were nimble from sewing that was true, but how would she react to that? She could easily go off the handle and it certainly was rather uncalled for him to ask if he could put his hands all over her. That would be just asking for trouble. He was however split on the situation and tried as best he could to cover it up. He refrained from looking at her as he stared off over the lake. “Did you try and come find me when you got back?”

"James are you trying to order me around? I told you I just got back. Today in fact. My body hurts so I wanted to relax, not go on a wild goose chase trying to find you with a weaken body. What if there is a spy and he or she tried to kill me then. I have to hide out till I can fully recover." She said this not in a mad tone but in an assertive one. She put her hands on her hips as she spoke and leaned to one side.

Kairen's sweet smile appeared as he mentioned the seanery. She sat back down and looked into the lake. Her eyes where now lost in it as she crossed her legs on the rock. She closed her eyes to find that James was right. She could feal it. Maybe it was just her but it seemed that this body was becoming more real. Her eyes shot open wide at that thought. " Oh my God! James!" she turned to him with an excited look.

" I think I know how Desh knows I am alive. Kilayame's soul is coming back to me. That's why I can feal happiness and sadness. I have noticed that I needed less souls to keep my body active off the energy from passing over. Perhaps Kilayame is dyeing." She smiled at that thought. She was getting revenge on the girl who took Desh away from her. All she needed to do was stay alive and Kilayame would eventually die and maybe her body would become more real.

"If this is true then I might not be a living doll." She smiled and cutely poked James's side. " My body would turn into flesh. Then maybe I can be happy. I can get another chace at life. " She smiled and hugged James once more. This time she didn't let go and buried her face into his chest.

James alone was one of the things Kairen had grown the closest too besides her weapon that followed her in death. He was someone she leaned on when she was down. Someone who picked her up. He seemed to be nicer to her then other men she snapped at. She was less lonely now and that was probably what helped moderate her. Knowing that there was someone who did care for her gave her hope.

Finally letting go she smiled as new thoughts on how to fight this filled her head. She wanted to redo her body. Find the sword faster. She needed to research and have her own spies search for where Desh and her friends where. Looking at Desh she rose an eye brow at him. She had thought of another idea while she was away but she wasn't sure if James would be up to it.

"James...Do you want to know everything. I mean my plans and what not to get my revenge for my baby. I just feal like if I keep this all inside then I just feal so..alone. So I want to tell you all my ideas but you can't tell any one. " She smiled at him then looked once more at the water.

Getting up she made her was into it till she was waste deep. She undid the ribbon, letting it fall into the lake. Her hair danced around her as stood there then turned to face James. "James I also want to know more about you before I tell you anything, " She dunked under the water, only to come back up soaked. She made her way back to the rock dripping wet and took the black towel that had been left next to her red and black Kimono. She dried her face off with it, her gold eyes searching his.

"That doll I met the first time I met you. Why can it talk and move? Why do you attend AHS? Where do you stand on me killing Desh? Why is it you never fight back when I say something mean to you?" She rapped the towel around her as she let the sun dry her hair. " These things have bothered me from time to time. I trust you, do not fear that. I mean I at least want to know something about you."

“No Miss Kairen,” he shook his head not expecting that kind of reaction from her. It seemed that every time he tried to do anything with this girl he was getting in trouble. It was not even the fun kind of trouble where they would both laugh about it later. It was just he getting her angry and riled up. As much as he did not want her to be so it seemed that she always was. Maybe she was not truly angry with him for his comment, but he still did not want her to act that way. Maybe he deserved it though for having been down here doing what he was doing. “I was just worried about your well being. If what you said was true then trying to find me was probably a bad idea. I hope me being here now will not bring you any kind of harm.”

She seemed happy however despite everything that she was going through. It seemed odd really that she was actually so happy. It was beautiful the way her lips curled up the way they did. He had wanted her to be happy and peaceful like this. This was what he had wanted for some time. Just for her to be somewhat happy and forget about everything that had to do with her past life. Desh, Kilyame… everything mattered, but he wished it would not be so in the way. It was what she was, but it hurt her so – those memories. He stared quietly at the lake as the wind did indeed blow just enough to feel the cool lake water on his face. It was very serene, well that was until the outburst. It startled him to hear such an ecstatic glee so close to him. He nearly jumped right up off the rock he had been sitting on. There was a large startled motion that caused him to drop his glasses into his lap. He looked at Kairen to see what was the matter. Her face was full of pure joy. He could not believe how happy she looked now. The explanation that followed was both a bit of good news and bad.

He was glad that she was happy and that she was getting her soul back. It was something that he did not fully understand, but it was good to have all of one’s soul. He still could not even imagine what it would be like to have only half of one’s soul, but to wish the death of another and sound so pleased about it. It was very irking. As much as he did not approve of her death he really did not approve of the death of others. He was lost in thought as she spoke, but was immediately pulled back in as she poked him in the side. It was so surprising to see her acting like this, so happy and alive almost as if she was a schoolgirl, despite the obvious fact that she was actually a schoolgirl.

This is the part that confused James the most: the hugging. Everyone needed a little comfort at time and it seemed that he was her constant source of comfort. Again she wrapped her arms around him pressing her face tightly to his chest. She was such an enigma and the more time he spent with her the more he desired to have some kind of manual or book to help him along the way. She was just another girl, but she was so much different from normal girls. Is that why he liked her so much? What would he do if she became normal? Was he that shallow? No, he was better then that was he not? That was had first caught his attention though…

The hug seemed to last forever as he held her close in his arms. It was different for her to seek him not for comfort, but out of joy. Was something started to weaken that petrifying hold that anger had on her heart? Was it her soul returning that was allowing her to be able to feel such emotions again? He had held her in his arms once before, but never like this. It was nice…

“Miss Kairen whatever you feel like telling me I will listen. I would like to know everything about you if at all possible and I promise to you that I will not tell anyone what you tell me here. I doubt it would be much of there business,” he said watching her as she waded into the water. She looked lovely with her hair down, but he tried not to act as if he was staring at her. “Miss Kairen whatever you would like to know. I am an open book.”

She dove under the cool lake water and arose out just as fast. She looked pristine and elegant. A blue haired goddess if there ever was one. He could barely help himself as he tried to divert his eyes away from the rather wet and clinging suit, but he did his best to try and look as innocent as possible even though he rather was far from that. It was really the only gentlemanly thing to do when a woman gazes deep into one’s eyes. Pure golden beauty.

“Well,” he said clearing his throat. “Your first two questions have the same answer. They really are one and the same. Emma can move and talk because that was how I made her. She is my creation. I made her from nothing more then cloth and cotton infused with a little magic. That is why I am here as well. That magic is not well understood. I have been trying to figure it out, but all my leads have come up rather short. My grandfather taught me how to animate puppets, but only a special kind of puppet mind you. It is rather complicated actually and I have not the foggiest why Emma is different from all the other puppets I have made.”

“Desh… that is an issue I am rather torn on Miss Kairen. He has done you great harm and I, as a gentleman, cannot bear to see any woman treated like that, but death… Death is not something I can really advocate. I really do not know what else to tell you about that question,” he stated honestly that he was conflicted. He truly was, but sadly that was not the question that he was most dreading. It was the one that he had to currently answer. A momentary pause separated his answer as he looked away. He was nervous now; more so then he had ever been. With Dianthe it had been different. He had thought she had hated him and maybe she really did. She had thought it had been the other way around, but she was the one that had disappeared. Then Kairen came along and then disappeared just the same, but now she was back. Why was this so nerve racking? Was it because that maybe she would be even angrier with him? Did she see him just as a shoulder to lean on? He hoped that maybe she saw him as something more.

“Miss Kairen… the reason for that is that… I do not know why this is so very hard, but I do think I am rather infatuated with you,” he said it to see what was going to happen, but decided that maybe it was best just to explain himself. “With all you had been through I could not bring myself to say anything. It would have just been more for you to worry over and quite frankly I did not know how you would take it. You were always so angry and I did not want to anger you. Not because I was scared, well I was a little scared, but it was because I did not want you to think of me as a bad person.”

He smiled nervously at her through his glasses waiting for how she would react to such a confession. Hopefully she would not be mad at having a guy confess something like that to her again. He had been afraid of saying something like that to her too soon. Still he had felt it was too soon, but he had said that he would not lie to her and that he certainly had not done. A bolt of lighting struck him though. Not literally, but figuratively. A bulb flashed in his mind as an idea struck him so hard that he could not believe he had forgotten about it. He quickly riffled through his robes to find the pocket he kept the dolls in. He looked and found the one he had been looking for. He pulled out the little black haired doll.

“This is rather embarrassing, but I made this for you,” he said handing her the little doll. It was a small clone of Kairen. The little doll was a perfect mimicry in most cases right down to the eyes. He had managed to find a gold color that nearly mimicked Kairen’s. The dolls clothes were even similar to the clothing that she had worn when they had first met. Everything was in order except for the hair. It was still black, but he could not have known that she would change it to blue in color. How silly he was being. She did not want that. He could tell. She probably thought he was a fool. He just held his breath waiting to see what she would say.

" So you don't want me to kill Desh?" She asked folding her arms and raising an eye brow at him. She deeply sighed and shrugged " To be honest, now you can't tell any one this, I don't want to really. The problem is it is either I kill him or he kills me. The soul situation is that Desh killed me to take the part of my soul that loved and cared for others. He placed it into Kilayame who was dying of a staring disease that caused a pert of one's soul to pass over, what you would call die, without the victim dying or in any pain at all. The soul just leeks out of ones body. Desh somehow was able to give her that part of my soul after I died. Now that I am living again my soul is calling back that part. If I continue to live then Kilayame will die. Desh loves her, not me, and will try and kill me once again so he can take back the rest of my soul."

She rapped her arms around her self and looked at her belongings. Neatly folded next to James where her Kimono and sandals. She just sat down next to James and placed her belonging on her lap. Her face was indifferent once again but a hint of loneliness and hurt could be traced in he expression. He had not loved her at all. Desh had used her which made her want to get even up to this point. But still.. she cared for him but at the same time she hated him. Kairen would not bring her self to cry. No, she would stay strong and get even... but still James didn't want that which bothered her.

She had no reason to get upset with him because she had asked him for his opine. If he had just said that randomly she would have been angered but not now. James was the one person she was close to. His opine did matter to her and it kinda made sense. It was wrong to kill Desh but at the same time it hurt her not to try. She so desperately wanted to get even with him and see how he liked to be killed by the one he loved. Though he did not love her...

The subject was making her irritated and stressed again so she tried to think of something else. James's power was an interesting topic. To be able to animate dolls. It was certainly something she had not heard of before. His grandfather had done it so perhaps he was just carrying on the family legacy. " What about your family. What do they think of this?" She asked with a more caring look.

James went on to say he was infatuated with her. She couldn't help but smile at the comment. It had made her forget about her easily thoughts of how Desh used her. " Why would I think you where a bad person. Right now you are the only person here at this school that I trust. Also like wise I care about you. Its a very protective feeling I have for you. Like say if someone was picking on you, well I wouldn't go as far as death, but I think you have a good idea of what I would do. I care for you a lot James and at times I worry about you. Whenever I am worried about Desh you always pop into my mind. Before I go to bed I find my self thinking of you. I thought I was going crazy at first and now.....well...." Kairen stopped feeling embarrassed about what she was about to say. She had a good idea about what she felt about James as it was similar to the way she felt about Desh but Desh's was never as strong.

Kairen still just stopped the conversation all together and didn't at all speak. She could had lied and said she didn't know what the feeling was but she didn't want to do that to James. She could feal inside her self was changing. She was becoming a better person but it wasn't just her soul that was causing her change. It was James.

He had handed her a doll which she took with a rare blush. It was dressed like the way she used to dress. The doll had caused her to feal this warmness inside of her. This happiness that she had never felt before. Her father had given her gifts plenty of times but it was her childish selfish greed that had caused him to give them to her. Her 18 ponies she had asked for and her 100's of barbies and doll houses. She had the life but her father had just given her what she wanted. There was no thank you involved or I love you my dear. There relationship is just how it is not, based on money, not love.

After a moment or two Kairen had reached out one clawed hand out and grasped the doll. She brought it closer to here where she could look at its features. Kairen's body was now dry so she unwrapped the towel from around her as she starred at her clone doll. Suddenly she hugged it tightly and tears started to fall from her closed golden eyes. James cared for her like no one else had ever cared. To have someone so caring around she truly felt her self blessed. More tears started to fall from her eyes but her lips made no movement to make a sound. She moved her self closer to James and rested her head against his chest. Kairen still hugged the doll like a child.

" James...Thank you... I am honored." She said, her voice shaky " It's great. It looks just like me." She said looking at the doll again as she now sat in his lap. She had crawled into it with out thinking for comfort " I have never been given a gift like this before. It has touched me." This would explain the tears and why she was reacting this way. Kairen had not told James about her family other then she was rich. She didn't want to burden him with her past and how hard it was to bare. She wanted to see him happy just as she was sure he wanted for her.

“Miss Kairen, I understand if you must kill him for that reason, but for revenge… I feel that it does not suit your demeanor. I know I am in no real condition to speak from my own experiences, but I hope you will understand how I feel. Maybe it was just the way I was raised, but killing someone for revenge does not seem like something you would do. If you must however… I will be there for you,” he stated rather worried that she would take his statement the wrong way. He was slowly becoming more open with her. It was truthfully how he felt however. Killing for revenge only led to worse things. If she had to kill him to prevent her from once again feeling the icy cold hand of death once again. He would kill Desh himself to prevent that. It was odd though. He had never had such strong feelings of hate for anyone before. When he had met Lindsey for the first time they had fought and that was the only time he could remember being so angry at one person, but not this mad. Mad enough to kill? He tried to hide it, but he could help thinking that it was visible in his eyes. A man of knowledge should not let things like this get to him, but a man that followed his heart always did. It was a family curse most likely. Always following the heart instead of the mind if the situation arose. In this case it certainly had.

“My magic is hereditary Miss Kairen. It seems to have weakened quite a bit though from when it was first created. I do not know how I am able to use it and my father is not, but my father was always very proud that I was able to do so. My grandfather taught me how to use it better, but sadly not even he could really use it. He only knew of it from reading such things as a child. He could not really use the Puppe Magic himself, but he was very well versed in other magicks. My mother and sister however… I do not think they were very enthused that I moved all the way to Japan to continue my studies. I have always been a fan of Japan,” James continued to answer her questions. She seemed generally interested in everything about him. He usually did not like to talk about such things, but he knew so much about her, but there was very little drama and tragedy in his life. His life was fairly bland comparatively.

Such a reaction however was rather unexpected from her. She had admitted what he had hoped. There were slight feelings from her to him as well, but the gift he had given to her. That was rather unexpected… It had made her cry. Bringing tears to such a lovely and fragile girl was something he could not bear himself. She once again sought comfort. He seemed to be that plush toy that all girls ran to when they were hurt inside. Was that all he was though? Just someone she could trust and hold on to whenever she felt bad. He did not feel that way about her though… or did he? It was confusing and hard to understand, but there was one thing he did understand. He did not want her to cry anymore. She sat in his lap leaning against his chest just crying over the little doll that she had clenched to her breast. It tore him apart inside to see her like this. It always did even though he was rather scared of her before. Now though he was going to have to take a chance. He pulled her chin up and looked into her eyes. Bloodshot from the tears, but still a beautiful golden pigment emerged. “Please do not cry. I did not mean to make you sad with such a gift. You are very deserving of such gifts. Do not cry so about it. Thank you is a nice gesture, but I would rather see a smile on your beautiful face then anything else. ”

" James I have never received a gift out of kindness. This means a lot to me." She then moved his hand so it no longer grasped her chin but her hand instead. She raped a clawed hand around his and looked down sadly. " If I don't have anger to thrive on and keep me going then what purpose to I have in this world again. Its not far that my body is a fake. Hopefully it will go back to normal but I...just don't know. I wouldn't have anything to keep me going forward if I lost hate for him completely. I hope you can understand how hard this is for me. I have to hate him. " She sighed and laid her head against his, letting go of his hand she held.

" I want to introduce you to my father. He is very rich. He and I just do business together and what not. I mean he doesn't treat me like a daughter. Like I would want that greedy..b!@#$%ed to. Still ....I feal an urge to go back to my house." She looked up at him again her golden pools tried to read his. " This time I am telling g you where I am going and asking you if you want to come with me." She raised an eyebrow mocking him for his previous statements about how she was to tell him where she was going.

" If you are scared you don't have to come." She said with an evil smile. He probably thought that her father was just as ruthless as she was. " I will protect you don't worry." She patted his head like you would to a puppy. She wasn't lying, if any one did anything to James she would kill. She was naturally protective, almost being a mother.

(occ. This is really bad sorry >< I will do better the next time promise.)
