Tenkari stepped lightly into the library, clutching a book about legends and mythology of Japan to his chest. He enjoyed the book, a bit too much maybe as he was returning it a week late. The book itself was a good read, he learned things that he haden't known about himself, even if they were just to do with legends, he'd learned some interesting things about Kitsune, proven or not they were useful to know.

The fox-boy stopped and looked around with bright golden colored eyes, noting all the librarians about at the return area. he didn't want to go over there right now, figuring he'd wait a while until there were fewer at the returns station, that way he wouldn't be hassled that much, anyway he brought some money with him incase he had to pay a fine, he just hated attention from a lot of people at the same time. He still wasn't over that part of his past.

It was hard to believe that a month ago he wasn't able to walk around during the day like this without wearing a long sleeved shirt, pants and sunglasses to protect himself from the suns harsh rays. Now he could walk around naked if he want and not worry about the sun unless he was in it for over a half hour at a time. He was glad he wasn't an albino anymore, but he also wasn't himself because of it. New body, new powers, but for some reason there seemed like something he had forgotten, but couldn't explain what it was, he could remember his family and other things, but it just felt like something was missing.

He missed his family, he wondered how they were doing and would probably be wondering if he had met any friends yet. He had met a few, but he really could do to meet more people, it was hard to break out of the shell he had built up about himself because of his previous albinoism. but he was slowly getting past it. He hoped that he could meet someone he could love, but he was too afraid of being hurt to ever get that close to someone.

He walked over to another bookshelf and began examining the books there as he waited for some of the librarians to leave or go do something else. He should have waited until it was closer to closing time to go and do this. he didn't like large crowds. His white tail slowly flicked about behind him as his ears flattened a bit, making it hard to see the white ears in his white hair. After about fifteen minutes Most of the librarians went off to do other things, so he thought now would be the best time to go and return the book.

He slowly made his way to the returns area, his eyes looking around to see if a few of the librarians were suddenly coming back, which they weren't. He stepped upto the counter and placed the book down, not really looking at the person on the other side as he spoke softly. "I'm here to return this book." and didn't say anything else, with luck they might not know if its over-due but he was going to wait and find out for himself.

Leon watched boredly from behind the A.H.S. Library counter as the library started to get busy again. It always got busy this time of year when the new fall quarter starts. It was routine. Leon watched some of the students pass by. A girl with blue hair, a fox boy, and a guy with too much cologne on. Leon was a neko, or rather a bakeneko. A demon cat of Japanese ancient legends. He rested his chin on his palm as he rested and waited for the librarians to be done with their work. After all, Leon was just an assistant and not a real school staff member. He sighed as his cat tail swished about behind him in an unenergetic sort of way.

He rolled his eyes to a girl who was arguing with one of the older, not to mention meaner, librarians on how much a book replacement fee cost. Yes, It’s the cost of the book, plus another five dollars seventy-five cents. The neko thought to himself as the girl started to become angry and swore it was not her fault. The girl then went on how a giant spider ate her text book. Sure, at A.H.S. the thought of a giant spider was very possible, but even so, a replacement fee was a replacement fee. Finally the price was settled and the girl paid her dues. Some students can be so difficult.

The kitty looked at his watch and noticed that it had taken a lot longer for his supervisor to return from her bathroom break. Never eat jalapeños for breakfast. Geez, doesn’t everyone know that? The cat thought to himself with a sly grin; commenting on his boss’s strange eating habits. Leon sighed. Again he was forced to sit and watch the students in line ramble about what they had for lunch, who was dating who, how hard the math exam was, and how monsters from another dimension almost devoured the school nurse. You know, normal High school stuff. Fifteen minutes passed as the library finally started to slow down. The other librarians were finally free to go do other business like re ordering the shelves and making sure the students use “Their indoor voices.” Even Leon had developed the habit of saying “Shhhh!” every now and then for no apparent reason. The kitty looked about as he noticed the fox boy from earlier walking up to the counter with a book. Immediately, Leon sat up straight on his stool. Him? Straight? Eh hem.

”Yes? How may I help y-“ But the cat was interrupted by the fox boy’s announcement of his book return. Leon scratched his head curiously as he looked down at the book which was just placed in front of him. Why didn’t the Kitsune put the text in the return box? The kitty shrugged and took hold of the book. He quickly scanned the book with the laser scanner, and checked the computer next to him. He already knew some of the newer students weren’t use to the school and it’s many rules, and sub-cultures, so he brushed off the returning incident as if it were nothing. After all. The library wasn’t busy any more and Leon had nothing to do, but wait for the librarian supervisor to return. The neko library assistant took a sip of his water bottle as he waited for the book’s info to come up on the screen. A school with a gravity chamber, and they can’t afford up to date staff computers? The cat started to tap his fingers on the counter just as Tenkari’s info popped up.

”Oh. Um. Mr. Tenkari Foxus? This book “Legends and Mythology of Japan.” is nine days late. I’m sorry, but there is a late fee. It is one dollar seventy-five cents per day so you fee is… Let me see.” Leon said in the most polite tone he could give; not wanting to anger the young fox boy. In a school where people had powers that could kill you, it’s best not to overly aggravate them. He tapped a few buttons on the computer as the small green screen activates in front of Tenkari. It showed the price.

” Your fee is uh um fifteen dollars and seventy-five cents. Heh…heh… err… It’s actually not as bad as the price sounds. The public library is far more strict on the price then we are. Really. Honestly… er... uh… heh..” The Neko said with a nervous look; forcing a smile through in order to look professional. Too bad the expression made his face much more funny looking then professional. Often students would complain about the price of the late fee, so the cat wouldn’t have been surprised if this fox boy would cast some kind of spell on him or summon up demons from the depths of hell to feast upon Leon’s moral kitty soul… Like last week’s incident. The neko gulped with difficulty as a nervous sweat drop formed on the side of his face.

Tenkari hadn’t looked up from staring at the counter top until he heard the young neko mention his name, and when he did look up he was shocked. While his face didn't show it, he felt something odd pull at him. He reminds me of Dak... except that neko had wings as well. Still, he is kind of cute.... Wait, should I be thinking of boys as cute? Ack, I don't know, but then again, I've never been anywhere close to normal my whole life until a month ago. Kitsune or not, I'm still me, and I know I have had feelings like this well before I was turned into a kitsune.

He snapped out of his little daydream about the time the Neko librarians’ assistant said nine days late. He sighed softly as he heard how much per day the late fee was. That’s what I get for not returning it sooner, a lesson in life I guess. His eyes returned to looking the young neko over, which caused him to blush softly as he did. He couldn't explain why, could it be the predatorial side of himself seeing if the young cat-boy would make good prey? Or was it something that he couldn't even fathom, he wouldn't know just by standing here, but he didn't say anything to the neko yet, afraid he might say something to offend the kitty. But he nodded softly to show the neko that he was listening.

It was at about that time he heard the total late fee he would have to pay, fifteen dollars and seventy-five cents, his eyes went a bit wide as he heard the total. That would really teach him not to borrow books longer than he should have. After all, you can check out books more than once, otherwise how would people finish reading those really big books in a short amount of time? They had to have checked them out multiple times. After the total the neko went on to talk about how the prices here were better than those at the Public Library. He blinked a bit at that, was this cute neko afraid of him? But then again, wouldn’t you be afraid if you thought the person in front of you could do bad things to you just because they felt like it? I'd probably be a bit nervous myself if I had his job.

He finally spoke up, in a soft voice, not wanting to draw attention from the librarians who were wandering around telling people to 'Shhh!' "Fifteen Seventy-Five you said? Well, I guess that will teach me not to return the books late." He gave the neko a big smile as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a wad of cash, he really needed to get a wallet or something, so he wouldn’t have to just stuff the money in his pocket. He managed to pull three five dollar bills and a One dollar bill from the wad of cash and placed it on the table. "Erm, I don't have exact change... I hope that's alright."

As he waited for the neko's response he found himself looking up, his golden eyes meeting the Cerulean gaze of the neko, and his cheeks went pink a bit as he spoke out loud, not knowing he was speaking out loud. "Wow.... so cute." His eyes went wide about five seconds later as he realized he said that out loud and quickly looked down again, his face bright red now a he had totally just embarrassed himself. He didn't dare look up again as he was afraid of seeing a look of anger on the neko's face because of what he said.

Gem had been silently walking around the library examining different books particularly in information sections; she looked through several books with the word poison in the title. The other students around her had been pointing at her and softly chuckling each time she picked up a book, some of them even gave her an odd look. She couldn’t help that she had what she had, she just wanted to fix it, and books with poisons seemed to be the way to do it.

She was now holding 4 books of surprising thickness stacked from her waist and piled in her arms to her chin. Using her chin to stabilize the books and see, she made her way around the library looking for the checkout line, she didn’t see anything to that effect but she did see another librarian assistant and a student, both of which had cat like ears. Perhaps there were more in this library like her; she hadn’t really been paying enough attention to know for herself.

She slowly approached the counter and with effort was able to hop just high enough to slide the pile onto counter and she landed softly on the ground again. She crossed her hands in front of her and took a step back slowly waiting her turn to be taken care of. So it was no longer deniable, the boy behind the counter was definitely a neko like herself, the other though looked more like a fox than a cat. Where had she heard of that before? ’He must be a kitsune.’ she thought to herself.

As she listened to the charges that the kitsune must pay, for the overdue books, her eyes widened slightly. That was a lot of money; especially to her she didn’t really have that much money left over after paying the tuition of the actual school. She just smiled as the Kitsune said ‘So… cute.” probably embarrassing himself greatly. As she sat there silently listening to the two talked to each other and watching their actions she started playing with a metallic bracelet that was on her wrist.

She looked at her bracelet quickly; it had the letter L-E-O-N engraved into it. It was her only knowledge of her brother that went to this school, she had never seen him nor had she met him. They were separated when they were children, and their parents seemed to keep tabs on them but she never received a picture of her brother. All she knew was his name was Leon, he attended this school, and he was a year older than her. This somewhat upset her slightly that she grew up not knowing her only brother. But it had been a trial she had to deal with just like every other trial she had gone through.

Surprisingly, the young kitsune didn’t express the crazed, out raged reaction Leon was expecting. In fact, he seemed very calm about it; agreeing to the fine with no objection what so ever. Leon tilted his head to the side curiously; brushing a strand of navy blue hair from his adorable face. The fox boy was soon joined by someone else, or rather, a line was beginning to form. Leon smiled politely at the girl neko. So she was a neko; not that big of a deal since there were quite a few other nekojins in the school. The young kitty smirked a bit as he returned his attention to the kitsune who fumbled around in his pockets and removed a crumbled wad of cash; wrinkled and crunched. The fox handed over the money and apologized for not having exact change.

” Oh, that’s fine. We can give you change back. Thank you.” The library assistant took the bills and began to punch in a few numbers on his computer screen. With a sudden “cha-ching” sound, the cash register door popped opened. Leon expertly placed the bills in and removed a quarter. The teen kitty closed the register just as he heard the voice of the fox behind him. Cute? Leon raised an eye brow. Since he wasn’t facing either the neko girl or the fox boy, he could tell if Tenkari had complimented Leon, or the female cat. The cat boy smirked and quickly wrote something down on a blank receipt. The cat demon turned around in a professional matter and gave another happy smile to the female cat and then faced Tenkari; extending his hand out to the boy with the change. His sleeve moved up his arm a bit as his limb reached forward; revealing a metal bracelet with the letters: G-E-M, engraved into it. ”Here you go. Twenty-five cents is your change. Have a nice day?”

Leon dropped the quarter into the fox’s hand, along with the small piece of paper with something written on it. “Leon Lionheart: 555-1945. Dorm: B14 p.s.‘don’t go away’” Just incase Tenkari really was saying Leon was cute. The neko librarian nodded a quick good bye and turned to the female feline. Leon didn’t mean to be so abrupt and pushy to the fox. It wasn’t as if he wanted to fox to leave so quickly like that. After all, he had never talked to a kitsune before, but then again, his work responsibilities would have to come first. Leon took hold of one the heavy, bulky books and aimed the laser scanner gun on the book’s bar code. He repeated the action two more times in quick succession. When he got to the last text however, the scanner made a beep sound. It wasn’t reading the bar code. One of Leon’s cat ears drooped down as the other one perked up high.

”Hmm? Oh… This book “Poisons and Toxins of the Modern World,” doesn’t seem to be going through the computer. Hold on one second.” Leon scratched his head in wonder as his cat tail swished about rather quickly in frustration. The cat typed in the book’s number which caused another beep to sound out. Again, the book’s code wasn’t appearing up in the computer’s data. This was why Leon hated computers. Books were so much better. Of course leon would think books were better. Leon was a Paper Master; a person who control the molecules that made up paper. Just like Alchemists, Meta-Humans, and Witches, Paper Masters had their own agency where all the events, data, and ‘missions’ involving Paper Masters were taken place, kept, and assigned. Leon made a stressed meow sound and removed his metal bracelet with the letters engraved on it and placed it down on the counter. He then removed his two leather bands on his palms, his earrings on his right cat ear, and his yellow shirt. He began to roll up his sleeves which reveal elegant, fine skinned limbs which were accented in nicely tuned muscle, but not overly so. ”This will just take one moment. Sorry.”

Leon kneeled down behind the desk and when he came back up, he was carrying a hefty book; a book that greatly surpassed the thickness of the any of the cat girl’s books. This was a paper log of all the books in the library. In fact, the title read “AHS Library Records Volume 6.” That meant that there were five more volumes that came before it; most likely of equal or greater thickness. Leon smiled widely at the two in front of him. His smile was so perky that Tenkari and the other Neko may have been a little freaked out. Now books were way more fun then computers! The library assistant opened up the book and began to flip through to pages. It was only a few moments before the book obsessed cat found the girl kitty’s book title.

”Found it! Ah Ha! Am I good or what? I can’t believe that our school is still so obsessed with these computers. The have so many errors in them and all they cause are headaches. Really, now, you can always trust a book. It will never freeze, it will never have a sudden computing error, you can’t get pop up ads, or spam, and best of all, you can take a book anywhere you go.” Leon’s grin widened even more as he took out an old and tatter log book and placed it in front of the Neko female. The log book was much slower then the computer, but apparently Leon trusted it more then the computer. ”Please sign your first and last name, your school ID number, What house you are in, the date of today, the title of the book, and the book’s eight digit code, all in the designated columns and everything will be all set. Mreow!”

Tenkari smiled softly at Leon as he accepted the Quarter and the piece of paper. Huh? A receipt? Heh.... wait a minute, this isn't a receipt. It's a Phone number.... and his dorm room? He read the little post script and blushed again but decided to wait around, after all, it would be rude of him, being that the neko was stuck here and he had inadvertently started this by calling the neko cute. He might as well as wait and talk to the boy for a while. Besides, he had a really cute name.

He moved to the side so that the female Neko could check her books out. He moved a few feet away, so that it wouldn't look like he was spying on them as he waited like Leon had asked, as he looked at the two nekos he could spot a few similarities between the two. Their hair was the same exact color, though that could have been dyed, he didn't know whether it was natural or not. Though he did notice there scents were alike also, that could simply be because they were both Neko's, again, he was jumping to conclusions. Though the thing that made him wonder the most was that he noticed she wore a bracelet with the name Leon on it, but then again, there is more than one person in the world named Leon. He needed to stop thinking about things that really didn't concern him, so he thought of something else to occupy him while he waited for Leon and the female Neko to finish.

His tail flicked about behind him as he turned away and watched several students go through the shelves of books, trying to decide if he could play any pranks on them, after all, what's the fun of being a Kitsune if you didn't pull a trick or two every now and then. He decided not to and then went back to wondering why Leon gave him that information. He guessed it was because of what he had said, Leon had been facing away at the time, maybe he wanted to know who he was calling cute at the time? But then why give the phone number and dorm room number? he had no idea, and figured he would find out later, after Leon was done helping people.

He wondered about whether Leon was a normal neko, or not, he remembered reading in his book about demon cats, though there wasn't any information on telling the difference between a normal Neko and one of those Demon Cats, what were they called again? Damn him for not paying much attention to the sections that didn't have to do with Kitsune. Oh well, not that it's that important, since either way, he's still cute.

the Kitsune turned back towards the two nekos, hoping they would finish soon, and when he looked he noticed Leon pulling out a large book and asking the female neko to write some information in it. He guessed that the computer was being a pain in the ass. He didn't do anything to it, so it wasn't his fault. His golden eyes trailed over Leon, well, as much of him as he could see, and he blushed as he looked away again, waiting for them to finish so that Leon could talk to him about whatever he asked him to stay for.

Gem smiled as she took a step forward once the kitsune had taken a couple of steps away. Though once she noticed he had stopped moving her ears perked up, just in case there was a reason for him to be helped before her, she didn’t want to take a place ahead of his if he still needed some help. Once she heard the beeps and that her book wasn’t in the computer she sighed. This had just not been the best day for her to be in the library. The people laughing, the malfunctioning computers everything that could go wrong had been going wrong.

She smiled as she started to play with the bracelet on her wrist again while the neko disappeared under the counter. She saw the bracelet that he had set on the counter, she could see some form of writing on it but it was facing away from her and she couldn’t quite read it. When he reappeared she was somewhat startled, she had been running possible things that could have been written on the bracelet when he startled her. She looked at the book that he now held with awe. It was so big, but was it really more efficient than a computer, well he certainly thought so.

“Ok, just one second then.” She smiled pulling her sleeve up a little revealing her bracelet with the word ‘Leon’ imprinted into it. She reached into her pocket with another hand and pulled out a pen which she put into her right hand and started to haunch over the book writing down the information, she was standing on her tiptoes, and even then she was barley able to get her abdomen right against the table, perching herself there she started to fill it out. The name field was easy enough, Gem Lionheart, however she wasn’t aware she had a student ID. She shook it off and figured she would just ask the guy about it. She filled out the rest of it as she knew and then flipped it around so it was facing him again and she smiled. “I don’t know my student ID.” She said somewhat shamefully and embarrassed her cheeks going slightly pink, how stupid was a student that didn’t know his/her student ID.

She turned back around to the kitsune with a smile on her lips. She slowly leaned her back against the counter so that she could see both of them. “How silly huh? Not knowing my student ID.” She said more to both of them than just the kitsune. She couldn’t help it, she was relatively new to the school and had no knowledge on what her student ID was. She felt really embarrassed she had tried to make a good impression on the entire faculty and so far she had been doing a pretty bad job. She had run into the lunch lady while she had food that was being carried to the lunch room, it had spilled all over the lunch lady. And now she didn’t know her student ID for the library.

It was always his luck to find such delicious samples in the strangest places. How he had gotten onto campus without anyone noticing or caring...well that was going to be a fucking mystery for many many years. But he was here, hiding beind walls and bodies of students that would never be noticed again. In his fingers a sandwhich on wry bread, cheap looking but with a special kind of meat inside smothered in his favorate sauce. A small peice of the brown flesh was caught at the side of his cheek and almost effortlessly his tongue whipped out taking the meat inside his mouth.

Adrian was a rather dominant character standing in the part of the little library that said staff only. It was back there they kept the truely raunchy books. He wasnt there however to read about some tawdry false affair, that wouldnt be any fun. Oh yes there was one fact that was totally ignored, the meat was fresh...so fresh that the animal that had so unwillingly given up its meat rested on the table in the dirty section the carpet stained with the red fluid which crawled down the legs of the table or merely dripped slowly off the sides. The librarian that lay there was normally thought of fondly by the students that walked in and out, too bad Adrian had not found her the same way. He did however find her mighty tastey. Poor gal thought he was inviting her on a date, instead he had slit her throat and removed many of her more...delicate organs and meat to be a warm and hearty meal.

He surely wasnt alone in this little library, that he knew. But it didnt much differ from his plan when he had done it. The worker had gone down quietly and Adrian was left with a cheap meal and his favorite knife. Thats when he smelt it...It had been quite a while since he had the flesh of younger students. He had to get close to them, had to rend their skin from their flesh and boil them...perhaps a potroast or stuff one like a turkey...yes...the mere thought of one of the plump juicy students being cooked and basted for his own grand feast made him salivate and forget about the rotting corpse of a woman behind him.

He wasnt a long range fighter, not a very good one at least. So he had to get close to the children to devour them. He shoved his hair back behind his shoulder, pushed his beard down and put on the dead woman's glasses. The black squares rested at the tip of his nose not messing with his vision as he lifted a book off the shelf and slid his blade into the binding. The handle was just a nub barely noticeable but he could grip it in an instant and he moved out wandering the many aisles that no one cared about. Ancient boring texts and biographies on people no one could ever find interesting, it was going to be a rough time for all the people here wasnt it?

He approached the students from behind his husk right behind poor Leon as a cruel smile crept across his face. His skin was stoney and his eyes were cold as ice. His breath was like that of an open cave mixed with a sewer grate but his smile...with those pearly white teeth set people at ease or scared them out of their wits. Both would do for the moment. Adrian struck faster then anyone could have thought, the blade was in his hand and coming down fast at the little soft tissue between Leon's collarbone and neck.

There was never any remorse, his pulse in human terms didnt grow any and only a lust for blood was cast in his eyes. This was Adrian the man eating meta who no one seemed to fear...though they should, he wasnt exactly the forgiving type of fellow.

Leon smiled perkily as he bounced up and down as Gem signed the old log book. He really preferred books over technology any day. He chuckled a bit as he took the log from the female neko and turned it around. Once again he ducked behind the desk and removed another large book. He opened it with expert speed and ran his finger down the list. It was of course, a large updated book of all the students in the school. It included each student’s name, address, Class schedule, and their ID number. He smirked a bit as he opened to the freshmen class listing. Leon took a few flirtatious glances at the fox boy standing next to Gem, but then got back to work.

He removed a pen from his pocket and stared at the log book. “Gem Lionheart.” At first he ignored the last name and began to write down Gem’s ID number into the log book. Then it hit him “Lionheart.” Gem. He gasped and stared at the female feline. Her name was Gem, just like his bracelet, and they shared the same last name. He tried to speak but only muffled grunts and shallow gasps came out as he stared into the eyes of his sister. He knew he had other family besides the kind old women who had adopted him. He had expected the bracelet to belong to his mother… Gem. He thought his mother was named Gem from the bracelet that was left behind when he was placed at Sasshi’s door step. He backed from the desk a bit as he felt a bit sick to his stomach. Gem wasn’t his mother’s name…It was his sister’s. He looked down at his bracelet and picked it up; handing it over to her.

”My… My name is Leon Lionheart… And I’ve always had this bracelet with the name Gem engraved on it…” Tears began to fill his eyes as he leaned over the counter and took Gem’s hand and checked her wrist of a bracelet which was similar to his. Bingo, there it was. The same type of metal bracelet and with the name Leon engraved on it. He swallowed hard, and stared at her; unknowing of the man who had walked behind the desk and was now behind him. ”I think… you are my sister…”

Meanwhile, an old tattered book on the counter behind Leon began to wiggle about as if waking up. As if a book could wake up right? This book could. This book possessed a large demon eye on it’s cover. It was a dark brown book which was made from many parts of ancient and magical creatures, and it had a life of its own. It’s eye noticed the man standing behind Leon and it blinked in curiosity. It then glared as it saw the knife being pulled out. As quickly as the knife came down, the book reacted with even greater speed. A sheet of paper flew out from the magical text, and flung itself upon Leon’s neck, with the power of a Paper Master the page harden into steel solidity. The knife collided into the stiff sheet; making a sound of metal hitting metal. Leon was pushed forward onto the counter. A loud and shocked meow burst from Leon’s mouth as he fell over to the other side; right at Tenkari’s and Gem’s feet. His eyes burst open as he jumped up and saw the mad man standing there.

”He tried to kill me!” It wasn’t the first time it happened. An evil vampire named Kaie took away his first life, and Okaru took away his second life. Now this? Leon glared at the loonitic as he thrusted his palm forward. His precious log book with Gem’s signature, and ID number burst into a swarm of sheets. Leon was a Paper Master. A person who could control the molecules that made of paper. How dare this psycho killer attack Leon in the one place where he held the most power; a library. The paged of the Log book thrusted forward onto Adrien with the power of a minivan going forty five miles per hour. Leon waved his other hand into the air as Gem’s books on Poisons and Venoms also exploded; sending more pages into the air. The sheets twirled around Adriend so fast that the wind created lifted Adrien up and forced him up against the wall. Then, like glue, the paged stuck the mad man to the wall and held him there with the hardness of steel.

”Gem! Tenkari! One of you use to phone and call the police! I can’t hold him for very long! It’s almost that time of the month when I loose my powers and become human! My powers are not at their fullest! Hurry!” But it was to late, the papers began to loosen around Adrien which caused him to slide down the wall and land onto the floor. The pages still clung to the psycho, but just barely. Leon glared at the mad man before standing in front of Tenkari and Gem, trying to shield them. ”What ever happens… Stay behind me…

Gem smiled at him as she watched him systematically go through the books, it truly was quite amazing to watch as he moved his hand along the pages writing in words and numbers onto the paper. Just like a well oiled machine. Gem blinked several times as Leon glanced flirtatious glances at the fox boy who she thought was her at first. She figured out that he was referring to the fox and smiled. How could he have been looking at her that was just silly, she was a girl and from what she could tell they seemed to be more attracted to males? Gay was the word for it, but it just seemed like such a crude word. She just smiled, she had thought Leon to be rather cute, but she was to shy to play off of it at all, that and now she realized that he probably didn’t want anything to do with her.

Gem watched him look at some stuff inside of the book and relatively started to sink back from the desk as though something had driven him sick. She looked at his eyes, they seemed to be distracted and in disbelief as if he had just saw a ghost. His mouthed moved but no words came out, gem was quite worried about him now, these were just things that suddenly happened for now good reason. She started to approach him slowly, blinking several times reaching a hand out across the desk.

”Are you ok?” She asked kindly with worry in her voice.

She couldn’t help but blink when he took her hand she listened to his words quite closely she started to blink uncontrollably such were her customs in awkward situations. Her legs started to quiver a little, she knew she had more family, and the bracelet had read Leon. But this was just too much for her to take in at the moment, a brother here at this school. This certainly was an unexpected turn of events.

“L…eon?” She said as she started to let her own tears go down her face. Her blinking had been lessened to a blink a minute.

She watched out of the side of her eye as the book started to react to the man behind Leon, Gem had thought it was a Librarian behind him. But as she saw the glint of the knife she took Leon’s hand and yanked hard, the knife and her hand combined pulled him over the counter where she somewhat caught him under his head. Causing everything but his head to hit the ground. She looked at the man behind the counter with anger in her eyes. Who dare try to murder her…? Brother. She shook her head and stood up extending her claws a good 2 inches. But before she could start to move the paper started to move, throwing the man up against a wall. She looked to Leon as he told them to call the police, wait that time of the month? That reminded her of her time of the month where she became her slightly stronger demon form, did he have something like that to? Wait this wasn’t the time to be thinking about that. She looked down to Tenkari who just seemed to be there to amazed as to what should be done so she retracted her claws and put her hand into her pocket and pulled out a cell phone. She dialed 911.

”Yes we have a murderer here in the AHS library.”

”AHS?”

She shut the phone; she didn’t know any Meta police force. She threw the phone to Tenkari as she was about to approach the man who was sliding down the wall, but was stopped by her brother.

”I don’t know a Meta Police Force, but I will do my best to help you.

The paper came off with absolutely no difficulty. A knife cut through the air to keep the remenants off of his strange floating papers. What were they trying to do? Stop him with what people took shits on? No matter. They would all be dead soon enough, and when that happened Adrian would feast on their supple young meat. Cook their favorite parts in his pot, eat their hearts raw...oh yes that will be a feast. Drool rolled down his lips and chin just thinking about eating the children. Thats all they were...furry...fat...juicy...children. Frozen brains on sticks, rocky mountain oysters, fresh human caviar oh yes they will feed him for weeks.

"Police? The police never stopped me before little morcial what makes you think they would now? I would be happy to tear the police apart, but they wouldnt be as tastey as you...besides...we still have plenty of time to play before anyone shows up." Well Adrian wasnt the most pleasant person and walked forward like a man possessed. The points in his clothes began to stick out as the chains tried at first to break the skin. The covering was in tact for a little while as he walked towards the pair that madman's smirk on him.

"Tastey tastey...I wonder should I eat you raw or cook you slowly..." The knife point was being pressed into his middle finger as he thought. Adrian wasnt worried at all about the students that had come to challenge him. They were only humans after all. Just humans, simple food for a monster like him. If you didnt believe in monsters then you should, Adrian would cause the world to know that they exist...and that they are always hungry.

His spots in his clothing burst outwards letting the chains fly and strike around the room going right for Gem's neck as Adrian jumped right at Leon his knife drawn ready to stick it into the soft flesh. A murderer, a cannibal, an escapee from the police, fleeer from H-block, hermit crab in a vampire's domain...Adrian was not a friendly guy. Fear was not something he knew, not something he gave into. All he was after was tearing them apart and eating them. He wouldnt back off or stop, not today not any day.

"Come come come little children...breathe deep your last breaths!" Chains burst out from his neck to strike the lights. He was shocked and the circuit blew turning the library into darkness besides what light could come through the window. Adrian barely breathed, his heart didnt beat and his feet moved softer then a snowflake as he went towards Leon his knife going for a rather vital part of the boy.
