The night, such a time where night stalkers and uninvited guests would prowl the streets. Personal safety was constantly ignored and broken. The time of day where even the most lethal human wouldn't dare to enter. Other creatures would simply hide, in fear that they would be struck down at such a delicate time. Such a place mentioned in a conversation would make them think "AHS" the school where the most hated beings would go to get away from all the ridicule and hate. Also to evade their history. When AHS had first been founded, it's original purpose was to create a place where the few gifted people could come to learn how to control their special powers. It was also a haven for some people, a place to converse with other people who could relate to the pain that rested inside of them.

AHS' overall appearance when it was first founded was thought to be one of the most righteous places to be. Even ungifted people would go inside the school and venture about, observing the new and for some old enviroment. AHS also held many memories, tragic histories and disturbing events. Even after all it had been through, it seemed to continue to stand tall. Soon after there was the sudden appearance of "evil" the thing that everyone, demon or man, held inside of them. After such things, security was elevated, but it didn't stop the people from moving in and attempting to take the school as their own. Considered as a "private academy". AHS even now, is on the edge of becoming isolated from the rest of the community.

One of these beings was Ryo Iyubashi. The student who had gone beyond ordinary evil. An unstable person, born into the world and commiting numerous sins. He was yet another example of the slowly crumbling society of Anime High School. Ryo was one of the very few who would dare be out and about at this time of the day. His body laying insecurily on AHS' roof. His eyelids covering the abnormal sphere balls resting beneath them. Ryo had been absent from AHS for quite some time. Since the last few incidents, he had remained isolated from everyone else. Everyone almost forgetting his face. He had returned after coming to terms with the voice inside of his mind.

Ryo's behavior had once again returned to it's once psychotic state. He had once again felt the craving for the red liquid resting inside of all beings, no matter what color it would differ from. Some would see him as a demonic human, but he was none of the sort. He saw no mistake in the way he behaved, and because of such, continued his denomic ways. His humanity still barely remained, almost completely gone, in which he would probably become completely insane. Yet another deranged victim of life.

Lupis walked onto the roof of AHS. He had on a his usual jeans and t-shirt, but in concession to the cooling weather, he had on a denim jacket. His long, spikey hair, kept in a ponytail at the back of his neck, usually sufficed to keep his head warm, except in winter. He was having trouble adjusting to the time-change, and had decided to visit the roof, if only to pass the time.
He leaned against one of the railings, looking out at the sleeping campus.

The peace continued for quite some time, AHS' random happening's and events seemed to have taken a sudden halt as of now. As people began to fall victim to the spell of sleep. Sleep was unavoidable, everything needed sleep. In order to function properly. Some refused to believe it, but even immortality had it's limits. Vampires for instant-- required vast amounts of sleep, but also had to feed before resting and vice versa. Ryo was not an exception, he was merely attempting to evade sleep. Sleep was a point where you were vunerable to any sudden attacks. And Ryo didn't want to risk it. But as stated before, sleep was unavoidable.

He had been trying to avoid it for awhile, and it seemed it was time to fall victim to it's deadly clutches as well. On the brink of unconsciousness, the sound of footsteps occured. Ryo's eyes immediatly snapped open, cursing himself for almost falling asleep. He also felt grateful to whoever footsteps they belonged to. Turning his head to the approaching noise, he waited for it to make it's self known. Standing up, he stretched his arm's out into the sky. The cold, crisp air making him want to get back in the position he was in before. The sky was dark, only a few stars occupying the sky. The constant sound of crickets seemed to now begin their melody as Ryo stood up. Some other sounds also ceased.

Finally, he noticed a young male sitting on the railing trailing around the school's roof. Ryo's dullness ceased to exist and turned into a look of excitement, so many opportunites had awoken as he saw the male. Long hair, a denim jacket for much needed protection from the cold winds lurking outside. Ryo didn't notice the cold temperature however, since his main concern was the male gender who had decided to retreat to the roof, reasons unknown. Walking towards him, he made sure that his footsteps weren't loud enough for the stranger to hear or feel. When about three feet from him, he halted. Opening his mouth to say something, but stopping himself before letting it become known, he waited for the person to notice that Ryo was behind him. It was always a pleasure seeing simple-minded meta-humans get a feeling of fear.

As Lupis stared out at the sleeping school, he got that a tingling feeling on the back of his neck, like he was being watched. He turned his head and saw a dark-hiared boy standing not far behind him.
"Can I help you?" He turned around so he was facing the other student. He wasn't that worried about the possibility of attack. The roof was usually fairly peaceful, and he could likely handle most fighters, unless this kid was some sort of powerhouse.

As Lupin finally sensed Ryo's presence, Ryo's excitement only continued to grow. Why did his fellow students always seemed to become cautious at first glance? Was his appearance menacing? Was it his smell (as he does smell of blood)? Was it the way he looked at them? And for a moment, he actually cared why they were so curious about who was lurking behind them. Ryo's personality had also kept him alive and unharmed from some of the predatory people in AHS. He resisted the urge to express an amused emotion. Although obvious signs showed he was enjoying the male's uncertain mind and the feeling of being in the presence of an unknown person.

"Can I help you?"

An accidental chuckle escaped his lips, and now knowing that the boy knew Ryo was up to something not advised, the grin finally appeared. As Lupin turned around, Ryo stepped back, seemingly refusing the question. Crossing his arms, he looked at the meta-human. Each meta-human or "special being" as far as Ryo knew held their own attribute of power, whether it be telepathy, fire, wind, power to reshape the land, empathy, or anything of that sort. Ryo predicted that now, after such silence was presented in this conversation, that the boy would think that a battle was most likely about to happen. Finally replying to the boy's question, in a mocking tone he began to speak.

Ryo: "Why yes....you can."

He knew the presumed reply would be something around "With what?" or "Sorry I'm busy at the moment." Ryo's grin only widened after thinking of other possible replies. Such things as, "Is it a battle you want?" and "Very well then." He always predicted what his victims would say before they even thought about saying it--if they put much thought into what they said in the first place of course. Stepping forward once more, it seemed as if Ryo was pacing, but infact, he was waiting for a response from the fellow meta-human. No gestures had been made that would signal a battle, but that was inevitable while Ryo was around.

Lupis waited for a response as the other student chuckled slightly and crossed his arms.
"Why yes....you can."
The boy's tone was mocking, as if he was in on some private joke that Lupis knew nothing of. He paced slightly, still wearing his unnerving grin. Something was definitely wrong, and Lupis didn't like it. Whether it was his own instinct and experience, or some part of the collective mass of dark memories that was the demon in the back of his head, he didn't know -- but something about the boy struck him as highly predatory.
You should kill him now, before he has the chance to make trouble for us... It wasn't so much a verbal, or even mental message, but more of a general ill-will towards anything that fell under the realm of 'living', that was now directed more specifically at the student standing a few feet away from Lupis. It carried meaning without anything as cumbersome as words getting in the way.
Shut up, Lupis thought back at the demon.
You can't hold me forever.
Shutupshutupshutp.
For now...
He blinked slightly as he felt the demon recede back into the depths of his mental prison.
Deciding that the other student was waiting to see what kind of response he would come up with, Lupis decided not to give him one. He raised an eyebrow, as if asking for elabortion.
