Alara was bored to say the least. Due to her blood, she was just about willing to let her mind shut off entirely for the day...But there was a problem with that course of action...History. Ugh. Well, maybe it would be interesting today. After all, she had been growing tired of the constant strangeness of the school, maybe something as mundane as History would be the ticket to fixing her current state.

Without another thought of it, she turned to the dresser and pulled out her school uniform. A dark blue, pleated skirt, a white sailor-collared short sleeve shirt, and a big, blue ribbon completed the ensemble for today. Other things, such as the heavy, cold-weather jacket and matching vest for underneath, she would leave. In spite of her usual tropical temperature, she was also growing used to the bitter cold they called 'fall' here.

Dressed and ready, she glanced up at the clock and froze. She was going to be late! With a scream, she grabbed her bookbag and ran for the building where she had been told classes were held. The heavy, leather bag slammed against her legs and her stocking-clad feet pattered on the linoleum floor as she realized she had forgotten socks. Oh, well. That was of little importance compaired to being late for a class. Her old dance teachers used to make her practice twirls for twenty minutes if she was late, rendering her sick to her stomach and dizzy. She hated to imagine what they would do here!

Spying the proper door, Alara skidded to a halt, but the lack of shoes would be a bane, sending her sliding a few feet past it as the bell rang. She landed in a jumble of fallen papers from her bag and her battered pride. Quietly, she scooped up all the papers, cramming them into the leather bag before cracking open the door and peering in. While many had gathered in time, there were still a few empty seats. Well...She could make it if she was quiet. Dipping into the room and easing the door shut, Alara inched her way to the nearest empty chair and sat down.

She had barely begun to feel relief for going unnoticed when the door was flung open and a minor explosion lit the classroom. Startled, Alara fell out of her chair, landing on the floor with her eyes still wide. What was WRONG with this place?!

Looking around for a seat as people passed around her, she spotted the waving arm of her newly introduced friend. Making her way slowly over without acknowledging that she seen her wave, besides the fact that she made eye contact, the bell rang loudly. Her icy blue iris widened as she darted to an empty seat near Aeria. Last thing she needs is to get in trouble for not sitting down AND no uniform.. So stressful.

A whisper towards her, "Thank you," was a simple sign of graditude if showing her to class and having the kindness to let her sit here. Slouching back into her seat, it creaked as her weight was appiled to it so her shoulder blades where now resting against the back of the seat and her long legs sprawled out infront of her. She crosses her arms, not having any supplies for note-taking, this would be a horrible day.. Yet there was time to make up for it.

Her ears studied the words that this teacher spoke and eyes watched the screen, she seemed interested at the least, she just wanted to LOOK like she was paying attention because everything else was just going wrong..

Darksong: o.o get outtah mah head!

"Not a problem."

Aeria's voice was gentle so that the history teacher wouldn't get too upset. Hopefully he wouldn't be too strict on the girl. This was her first day after all and she had just moved in. Meanwhile, Harriet's eyes became big and angry when she heard the rather loud noise made by the silver haired girl. She was just about to get up and tell her off, but her older brother touched her shoulder and shook his head. She needed to keep this out of the classroom. He could tell that she was extremely angry at the moment. But now was not the right time to do this. Huffing a little while rubbing her eyes, she sat down in her seat again.

"Actually, that would be more towards the temple then the river itself. The river is symbolic due to..."

And at that moment, Mr. Onizuka's voice was drowned out due to a series of explosions in the hallway. It had gotten so loud that even he stopped giving his brief lecture, and just as he was about to ask the class something to see if it was just him, the mother of all explosions went off, and someone was sent flying into the room. Next thing you know, someone comes in looking like she was about to kill someone, then she apologizes. Still smoking his cigarette, he started to rummage through his desk and pulled out...

...a baseball cap? He was certain that some of his students were confused by this, so he just put the cap on backwards, swung his "teaching assistant" onto his shoulder, and walked over to where she was sitting. Errian lucked out at that moment, since he was looking for his cap, he never saw him sneak in, so as he stopped in front of Sera, Mr. Onizuka only thought he was there the entire time. And if Sera looked up at that moment, not only would she see fire in his eyes, she's also see what had to be the most demonic and darkest of all auras, as he stared directly down at her with the biggest scowl on his face.

"Hey. Mind explaining why you caused all the ruckus?"

Her pout was subtle; all she wanted to do was play. The teacher wasn’t making any sense and Onyx could find a million other things to occupy her simple mind with right now. Residing herself to the fact that Ricor was right she tried to disregard the doll, though she was a cute little thing that Onyx wanted to squeeze and hug to pieces. Trying once again to concentrate only made her that much more bored. Sighing lightly Onyx leaned over to her side and rested her head in her hand as she propped up on the desk with her elbow. It was going to be a long day if…

What was on her leg!? Startled just slightly her first reaction was to jump but instead her wild amber eyes looked down to see the doll had made its way up to her lap. Oh, now never mind the sounds outside or the many other things going on in class. Onyx’s attention was too far-gone. With a bright and slightly feral smile she purred lightly and hugged the doll very gently, her tail dancing around happily behind her. She was soft, and slightly squishy, but she was a doll after all right? Picking up the little object of cotton and thread she sat Emma up on to her desk. Oh, she was adorable to Onyx. Blond hair and animated, this was the first time she’d seen a doll quite like this. Tilting her head to the side slowly she pursed her lips in a curious manner before smiling again. Giggling to herself she inclined her head towards the doll and spoke softly and quietly.

“Hello Dollie…”

”So how long have you been here?”

Som: Just a couple of months.

(Som heard the voice at her side, namely Gem, and replied without ever taking her eyes off of the screen. She had that kind of concentration that could hold up the fort on two different sides easily. Namely, she could pay attention to class and talk AND note the sounds of disruption for all of its gory details without losing focus. Rish could do this as well, but ignored the foolish behavior. Niko and Winger only groaned at the stupidity. And Haruko? Haruko paid no attention because she was still thinking about what the teacher had said in reply.)

"Actually, that would be more towards the temple then the river itself. The river is symbolic due to..."

(Unfortunately, that was when the commotion started, diverting their teacher from his work. How annoying. Haruko waited patiently for a minute before finally saying, to Onizuka directly.)

Haruko: Would you like me to paralyze them? It wouldn't hurt much.
