Cola sat on a swing as she watched the sunset in the trees in front of her. Her green eyes seemed to be just staring t the sun, something that she was told not to do. Cola didn't really care though and often broke rules just to test authority. A habit of hers that arose from the rough school she was brought up in.

For shoes she wore high healed Sandals whose black straps seem to lace them self's all the way up her ankle and stopped the crisis cross pattern at her knees. Their fabric was that of a black ribbon. Cola was already short so her shoes made her about 5"4.

She wore a loose black dress that came down to where the lace from her shoes stopped. It was a tank-top, not fitting for the cold weather, and seemed to be low cut, just giving off a slight bit of cleavage that she had. She wore a black pair of dress gloves that went all the way to her elbow, hiding her black nail polish. Cola had eye linear that went all the way around her eyes to darken them and make their lime green color more noticeable.

As a breeze picked up her silky violate hair began to blow behind her then slowed as the wind began to stop. A small sigh escaped the girls soft lips as she closed her eyes, trying to imaging what the sunset would look like at a breath or some where worm. It was the only thing she missed about Okinawa, its tropical weather and the beaches she could swim in. Cola pick up natures energy easily as her wiccan power made her in tune with nature.

Her lime green gaze reappeared as the last glimpse of the sun disappeared. Pushing off with her legs, Cola began to swing in the air. She went off about a foot off the ground then swung back trying to go higher then the last time. She eyes shut once again as she tried to vision her self flying in the air. Of course she could already do that on her broom, located to her right side, but it was still fun like this too. Cola wanted to go to the highest point possible before she could jump off. Hey eyes closed the hole time as she swung back and forth, her violate hair swaying in the same motion her body was, at times even covering her eyes with their silky texture.

The cold winter light slowly faded, which made the snow seem to loose its own magical glow. He spent more and more time in the gardens now, ever since he had been foolish enough to enroll in a battle tournament. That one fight had changed him both inside and out. It helped to solidify his sword skills with the kodachi, and more over given him a will never to fight without reason again. That day, is evil side had almost come forth, almost claimed his soul and probably everyone around him. It was at that point that Remieum decided he would not fight again. Now, even months after the fight was over, his right hand still seemed to pulse more often with the same chaotic energy that always whispered into his ear. However, now that his will not to fight was so solidified, the whispering no longer affected him. Whispers were simply temptations and nothing more.

His quite walk had weaved him in through and around the garden, Occasionally bowing and nodding to a random passerby. It was his last stop before heading back to the school to see a sight that both perplexed and humilated him. It represented a childhood he never had, along with the peace he longed for. Most children avoided a frosty snow covered playground due to the simple fact that touching the cold metal from the merry-go-round or the swings could leave your hands feeling almost stuck, not to mention just how rusty everything felt during this time of year. Had the slide not been covered in snow and ice Rem would have actually been tempted to ride it, but there was no way he would stand for ruining his white silk suit simply to appease his wish to have a childhood. His left hand found itself sliding along the Merry-go-round, giving it a slight push. Gods how he wanted something like a childhood to call his own, let alone a life devoid from the evil within him. It was only after the rustic sound of the play thing came to a halt that his ears heard another sound, like the one that would be made if someone was riding a swing.

Having heard some of the stories about various events that had happened in this park, Rem's natural temptation was to put his left onto the kodaci handle and prepare to draw. His will for peace interviened though, leaving him merely standing there and staring at the girl on the swing. On first glance it seemed that she had a few qualities that were perfect for making mud out of Rem, long straight hair, tight clothing, and most of all an aura of loneliness. Remieum considered it another selfish dream, but he had always wished to find someone who seemed to need him just as much as he needed them. In a sight, this was his dream brought to life.

After another second passed, Rem realized he had spent two seconds of staring at this girl like an idiot. If she had even noticed him, she probably would hate him for his stare alone. His eyes sunk unto the ground while his feet slowly dragged through the snow, approaching the girl whom he wanted to meet. "Excuse me miss... I wanted to apologize for starring, it was inappropriate." Rem's back arched into a full bow, while a sudden gust knocked his own long black hair up for just a moment.

Cola did not realize that someone had been looking at her as she had been too busy feeling the energies of the nature around her and focus on getting high enough on the swing to jump. As he came over however Cola's eyes opened slowly at the sound of foot steps. Her lime green pools brightened and slowly moved over to the boy just before he stopped and bowed. Her eyes followed him as she moved higher and higher on the swing.

After he was done speaking Cola let go of the swing and slid her self off as she reached the highest point the swing was capable of. As she went to plant her self on the ground her footing was not right and she fell forward, face first into the cold hard ground.

Cola bushed a deep red color as she lifted her self off the ground. " That was graceful Cola." She said as she began to brush her self off. Her black dress did managed to get dirt stains in the fabric but Cola could easily get it with a good scrub. Her lime green eyes finally found them self's on the boy's features. She had thought about what he had said to her before her fall.

Tokyo was so different from Okinawa. The people here where actually nice, something she would have died for back in her grade school years. She wasn't even picked on, being a freshman in AHS. A smile was brought to her soft lips, unknown to her that on her left cheek remanded a smudge of dirt left over from the fall.

"I am used to being looked at like that. Though I didn't notice you starring." She said as her smile widened. She was used to get picked on for having purple hair and the way she dressed. Even her religion, the kids made fun of. She was numb to it by now and excepted the fact that she was different. She wasn't going to let it hold her back. No Cola was very strong willed and determined to become a pro at witch craft. Though she was still lonely, never in her life having a true friend or a lover.

"Hey do you go to AHS?" She asked as she ran a gloved hand though her silky purple locks. Her lime green eyes shut as she did so then reopened as her hand dropped back to the side. She looked the boy over before her. He seemed really nice though she had thought that before and the boy at her old school only turned out to be a jerk.

She had a lot of trust issues but that didn't prevent her from being nice to people. Even cracking a few jokes here and there with that wonderful sense of humor she had. Cola kept her guard up, he body was tense as she waited for him to respond. She prepared her for the rude comment the boy might make to her. She folded her arms in front of her and leaned to the side as she looked him over, waiting for him to respond.

Rem was not quiet certain how to react when he heard the sound of a crash coming from her. Normally, he would rush over and help, but he was still bowed. Realizing that he once again was acting smooth as sand paper, he rose to look at her as she dusted herself off. "Grace comes in many forms..." He commented under his breath so that she would not heard. Sometimes girls did not like being complimented on what they did wrong.

"I am used to being looked at like that. Though I didn't notice you starring."

How does someone get used to being stared at? Do girls just adjust to having every guy who passes by check them out? I should really learn how to be more subtle... or maybe just restrain from peaking at all... This time, Remieum made every effort to keep his eyes focused upon her eye's and nothing else, making every attempt to show her some honor for doing something so silly before. Of course, Rem had completely missed her meaning... but thus is the fault of the young.

"Hey do you go to AHS?"

"Indeed, this one does attend AHS. No offense intended, but do you go there as well? You do dress a bit different, as is quite common among people who attend the school..." Rem pointed a finger with his left hand at himself, who was wearing a white silk suite with half moon sunglasses below his eyes. Then again, Rem's dress wasn't considered weird so much as trendy. In fact if he did not have long straight black hair he could possibly look much more like societies personification of 'cool young guy.'

"Oh, this one forgot to introduce himself!" Rem smiled nerveously and lowered his hand back to his side. "This one is known as Remieum Kanti, although he much prefers Rem yes indeed." Rem gave the mysterious girl in front of him yet another bow and then rose back up with his first genuine smile toward her. He was by no means confident yet, but he had at least managed to introduce himself without too long of a delay.

As Rem spoke about her outfit Cola's vision slowly went to her short black dress and fishnet stalkings. It was a typical gothic clothing that a Goth girl would wear. She didn't even have her witch hat with her, not daring to wear it out of that school. She tried to blend in as best she could while following her family's tradition dress code.

"I have to wear clothing like this." She said as a slight blush formed at her cheeks. " My family practices witch craft or wicca if you will. They are the old version of it though, I even have to have to wear witch hats." She joked. The violate haired girl cutely laughed as she brought a clawed hand in front of her soft lips and giggled.

"I guess my clothing is a bit silly but it's up to me to uphold the family tradition. God knows how much I can take much more of. So much pressure. Oh name's Cola, Cola Lee." Her vision worse to meet his. Cola couldn't help but feal a bit attached to this man before her. She had quite the fetish for long hair. Though she was a rebel she was not a slut and would not give away the fact that she thought he was good looking.

Another cute feature about the boy was the way he smoke. He referred to him self as this one and not I. That was something she had never ran into. Though she didn't mind, it just made him look cute to her. Reaching into the top of her dress and into her bra she pulled out a pack of cigarettes. She had been craving one the whole time they had been speaking to each other, it was a little addiction of hers but she considered the unhealthily habit a cheat code for life. They got rid of her stress and helped her think. Something she probably wouldn't be able to do on her own. As pulled one out of the package and stuck in in-between thoughts soft pink lips of hers she frowned frustratedly.

She had forgotten a lighter. What luck she had today. She had a back up plan though. Bringing a finger up to the tip of the cigarettes a small clear light began to form at the end of her index finger and her cigarette began to light. She took in a long drag before leaning to the side and breathing out the smoke to her left side. The light disappeared from her finger as she dropped it down to her side. Cola's sudden personalty change was due to the fact she was becoming more comfortable with Rem.

Her lime green eyes came to his again and she held out the cartoon of cigarettes. She wasn't sure if he smoked or not, she was guessing no but it would still be rude not to ask. " Smoke?" She said with a soft voice. Even though with cigarettes you are supposed to become polar and even though the temperature outside was very cold Cola gave no indication that she was cold. Even with her thin layer of clothing she was not at all cold. This wasn't a result of her power's however but it was more that Cola was a tough girl. Much like a guy she didn't let things get to her as easily and even in pain or discomfort she did her best to suck it up.

Rem half giggled and half chuckled as the girl went on about her clothing. Apparently he had missed big time, thinking that she knew why he had been staring at her. This was both good and bad, good because it gave Rem something to talk about, but bad in the fact that he had to think of a manner to present it. Also, there was the fact that he could safely say this was the first time he had ever stood by or talked to someone who was in fact a witch. That made her only more interesting to him, and perplexing to say the least. He glanced quickly at his right hand, wondering if the Devil's Star hidden on his palm was some sort of witchcraft as well. Either way, this girl just wasn't the type that seemed to be evil, and Rem had no doubts that witchcraft, like other forms of arts, could be practiced for good or evil.

"So, you have been trained in the arts of Wicca? That is interesting, but this one was not staring at your traditional clothing to mock you, rather the stare was out of interest in a girl swinging in a park alone on a winter sunset..." Rem fought the temptation to praise himself for not managing to make himself sound like an idiot; simotaneously telling the truth and doing it in a tactful manner was something he rarely accomplished. Hopefully she would not find insult in his words, but instead a new friend whom wanted to know more about her.

"It is a pleasure to make your aquintance Miss Cola Lee." He gave another short bow out of formality after his sentance, once again inclining his head. I hope she doesn't think I'm a stumbling blockheard servant or something... maybe I should loose the bows...

" Smoke?"

"This one has never tried one, but will take you up on the offer..." Part of Rem's mind (probably the same part that controled his lungs) screamed 'No! No! No! Please God No!', but Rem went ahead and lifted one out of the box anyways. Carefully, he raised it up to his lips and waited for her to light it...

Cola stepped forward and leaned down as her fingertips began to glow, warming the tip of the cigarette. All he needed to do now was breath in to light the cigarette. AS it light she stepped back and went to go sit on the swing. Her eyes went to the swing next to her then back to him, using eye contact to tell him to sit b her. “You don’t have to be so formal.” She started to say in response to his bow. In all honesty she really did like the bow, loving romance and class. But she also wanted him to be confident in his actions. He was more scared that she would be in a bad mood then anything.

Her lime green eyes studied his figure. He really was too good looking for his own good. It’s too bad she knew she didn’t stand a chance to have someone like him fall in love with a girl like her. Her eyes grew warmer as she flicked the cigarette with her thumb, ashes landing beside her. She took in enough drag, closing her eyes as she let the smoke come out of her lungs. “How long have you gone to AHS? What powers do you hold? Also why are you so nice? Is every one in Tokyo as nice as you? How about AHS, are they nice there?” As she asked her questions each came with a normal flow. Not rushing her questions.

Her lime green eyes reopened to look at him. She tilted her head to the right slightly. This caused some of her long violate hair that was sitting on her shoulder to fall to her back to join the rest of her silky hair. Her eyes just watched his with laziness to their appearance. Between her soft glossed lips laid the cigarette. Cola toyed with it using her tong, causing it to move back and forth between her lips. She took enough drag, bringing her right hand from the chain of the swing to hold the cigarette as she let out more smoke into the night air.

“You don’t have to be so formal.”

Rem leaned back and took a long drag of the cigarette. He lasted longer then most new people who smoke for their first time, point blank refusing to cough until after he had exhaled the smoke in a semi 'cool' looking straight line. After that he doubled over with some coughing, but refused to let the cigarette out of his hand. "Oh good..." He finally managed to mutter, "Because this one cannot imagine mainatining all formalities while learning to smoke."

Then the questions started. This was very different for Rem, having someone interested in him rather than the other way around. At AHS he was a weakling, a pawn whom canceled out his own powers and left only with a play toy sword. He spent so much time on his physique and clothing just to be noticed, but he was still background shadow compaired to the rest of AHS. This was nice, although the questions came a bit quick. "This one has been at AHS for awhile, maybe a few months. As for powers... let's say this one prefers not to have the powers he could. A simple sword is all this one needs to accomplish what he sets out to do. AHS itself is nice place with many nice people, but there are still the ones whom are not so. The best advice is simply to be careful..."

Rem took another drag on the cigarette, and then turned to look into Cola's eyes. "But this one also wants to know the same about you. Where did you come from? How far have you proceeded with this training in witchcraft? Are you going to be attending AHS also?" Rem stopped himself, suddenly aware that he wanted another puff from his cigarette. Listening to that, he did so... taking in another breath and blowing smoke into the night sky.

Cola smirked as he began to cough. She felt semi bad about getting him addicted to the cigarette but if he would have tried it with her then he could with any one. Cola didn’t care about her health; as long as she could center her energy she was fine. As he laid eyes on her she lifted up her feet from the ground and started to swing slightly. Just enough to move back and forth, causing the swing set to make an eerie creaking sound.

She was thinking about her response to his questions as she stared up at the night sky. There was just a crescent moon tonight so the lighting in the area was very dull. A street light to the far left of the road went out every minute or two before retuning. To her far right there was also a street lamp by the road but that light seemed to be even dimmer then the one that went out every minute.

Cola’s toughness to the cold was fading as the temperature continued to drop. She began shaking but did nothing to warm her self. She was determined not to show weakness. “I can fly on the broom laid beside me. I can also focus energy at my fingertips and shoot beams of energy. That is done though meditation which I am so far advance in that even elder whishes are just begging to focus on energy part of witch craft. My mom thinks that I might become a very powerful witch and pushes me to become better.” Cola’s green pools went to Rem’s as she then back to the night sky.

“I came from Okinawa. An island of the coast of Japan. I attended school there and met someone who showed me friendship and happiness. It was then that my powers surged and I could start to form energy at my fingertips. Soon though the happiness faded and people started to pick on me again. I wasn’t as good with my powers because of how depressed I was and my broom wouldn’t even knowledge the fact that I was a witch and would not fly for me. My mother moved me to this school where she thought I could fit in better and people would not make fun of me. As soon as we left Okinawa I felt much better and my powers returned with in one day. Now my mother owns a house in Tokyo and is busy managing the family’s business there. I go to School at AHS, started about two days ago.”

Cola finally decided to realize the fact that she was cold. She folded her arms in front of her chest to shield her self from the cold. She began to shake more and decided to stand up to see if she felt warming that way. Her teeth began to chatter as she inwardly cursed her body for being so weak.

Rem noted something. Due to the sun being gone, the snow covered park was slowly transforming into a colder environment, one far less accomidating to two high school metas having a smoke. However, Cola Lee's talk was so interesting, the fact that she could actually fly and have the ability to shoot energy attacks out of her fingertips. In comparrison, he was just some wimpy sword boy in training. Once again, he felt surpassed, suprised that Cola still had any interest in him at all. For a second, his steel gray eyes had met her emarald ones with a look to match. Was it just him, or was their the possibility that there could be something more here, not just him having his usual head over heals complex toward every girl he met?

She rose to stand up, leaving the chilling swing behind and somehow seeming like she had only gotten colder. Rem's reaction was immediate: he let fall the cigarette and removed his jacket in a swift move, setting it on her shoulders before either he or she would know what happened. Remieum looked down at the ground, embarrassed that he had not even bothered to ask if she wanted it. Of course, the jacket was made of a fine silk, one that held warmth in much better than it appeared to. He removed his hands from her shoulders and sighed, looking at the ground. He had smoked through just about the entire cigarette anyways, that was no big loss. Its embers were still fighting, still oddly enough trying to survive even though snow was the only thing that surrounded them. Slowly but surely, the embers turned to just a simple ash, dead now and forever. Witnessing the decay of the embers made Rem wonder if that was truly how the world worked, if it was all just trying to survive even though it was doomed to die. Was he, with his chaos and and light canceling one another, just slowly fading into nothing?

"You ought not to stand in the cold without some sort of protection. This one has never been to Okinawa, but he doesn't doubt that clothes like that will leave you cold here. Of course, Tokyo does offer warmer places to go to as well..." Remieum wondered if he was inviting her out or just trying to help her out. Did the difference really matter? Sure he wanted to get to know this individual whom had thought he himself was interesting, but he also did not want to see Cola freeze to death or catch a cold. "If you would like to get to know Tokyo better or perhaps find some of its 'hot spots' this one could be your guide."

Cola watch the boy as he put the coat around her. Her expression was blank, not sure if he was going make fun of her or if he was actually trying to help her. To her surprise he had wanted her to become warmer for their trip to someplace else.

Cola's lips slowly curved into a sweet smiling when he started to blush. “Thank you no one has ever acted like this towards me before." She said as she walked closer to him. Looking down she examined the jacket, purple locks of her hair fell in front of her head to shield her face from him.

The jacket was so silky and warm. She rubbed it against her cheek, as she stopped shivering. It self so soft she thought it must be very expensive. She moved her violate locks out of her eyes and pushed then to her back once again. Her lime green grew softer then they had been before. " You make me happy. I have only known you for about fifteen minutes and I already feel a strong feeling for you."

Though Cola had never been in love she had no idea what she felt or even said to Rem. To him this might be a confession of love or a feeling of strong friendship. Maybe one of Cola's personality faults is that she never knew the feeling of friendship or love which makes her innocent. Or maybe it’s not a fault, something that might attack a person to her, wanting to teach her all the feelings she felt.

Cola realized that Rem might be cold too, especially on the trip to the hot springs. Luckily for him though she had another idea. “I will wear you coat on one condition. You must hold me close the whole rid home to keep your self warm as well." She said as she turned around and bent down to pick up her broom. She suddenly turned back around to face him after she rose off the ground, holding her broom with both of her hands.

“And don't argue with me, it’s only right considering how stupid I was to dress this way to begin with." Cola let go of the broom and the green crystal, at the opposite end of the bristles of the broom, begin to glow. It moved it's self horizontally then Cola turned around and sat on the broom, both her feet located at one side. Both of her hands where griping her broom at each side, this only helped her self for balance at the moment. Rem's jacket hung down at the opposite side of her leg as it was a little too big for the teenage witch.

The broom then floated slowly over to where Rem was. Cola looked up at him, rising on of her thin eye brows. “Well jump on and tell me how to get there." She said then smiled at him. He was the first person to ride with her on her broom sense her last flying lesson with her father. That was about when she was five but Cola was sure she could easily adjust to the extra weight.

(OOC: Wow, I owe you so many apologies on the lateness of this. Something in the thousands at least... Please please please please please forgive me)

" You make me happy. I have only known you for about fifteen minutes and I already feel a strong feeling for you."

The word mutual rang a loud bell across the conscious part of Remieum's mind upon her second sentance, but he was all the happier to know that she had accepted his present rather than rejected him. Acceptance was wierd in its own right, Master Takoshin had once spoke of it as 'hugging a lepper without fear or worry'. Luckily for him, Cola was certainly no lepper. Rem's smile grew and his blush faded, for Cola's acceptance of him had given the young man just enough confidence to feel at peace around her.

“I will wear you coat on one condition. You must hold me close the whole rid home to keep your self warm as well."

R-Ride? How and what am I supposed to-oh. Cola pulled up her broom, seeming to be a master, trainer and companion of it all at once. Rem had to take a second to remind himself that Cola was indeed a witch, a practicing member of Wicca magic. Okay, so it took two to three seconds, but the point is eventually Rem gave her another smile and a nod. "That mylady is an easy agreement for this one... but you must explain to this one how a broom is ridden. He has not even ridden in an airplane once, let alone a magical flying tool...."

“Well jump on and tell me how to get there."

Rem got a mental image of doing exactly that, jumping onto the broom and getting a pain that would cause his grandchildren to regret that decission. Although it was only a quick flash, it was still enough to influence a quick grimace before he moved. However, Rem also realized that Cola was putting quite a bit of trust in him, or rather she would be after they started flying. With a nod and a refreshed smile, he gave a small leap and landed on the broom right next to Cola, also choosing to sit sideways rather than try using his groan for a center of balance. Although it was awkard at first, he quickly gained his balance on the floating object and slowly wrapped an arm around her.

"This one would still prefer flying lessons before trying out his wings, but it also depends what you seek in a hot spot. There is a wonderful hot drink bar and nightclub in downtown, and the hotsprings at Anime High School itself are also quite refreshing. Like this one said, it all depends on what you want."
