((Setting Note: Xelcos does not live in the dorms, rather, he lives in the Gravity Chamber, in a room generated by the computer. Currently the room is unlocked, so anyone could enter.)) "My Room." Xelcos said as he walked into the gravity chamber, his voice laced with disappointment and... even a bit of anger. The computer finished generating his room. It was very obvious that Xelcos had taken advantage of the IKEA "it only happens twice a year" sale. He had decked out the room in black and silver, modern bachelor furniture -- a touch of modern. He'd gotten some art too, he'd comissioned an artist he found on e-bay to do some cherry blossoms with fire in the background. It looked like this. He liked it. Wasn't the Mona Lisa, but he couldn't afford that. And even if he could have, Di Vinci was long dead, might as well support an artist that needs it. And there were bookshelves, too many bookshelves, with classics, old and new, trash novels, King, Sedaris, Irving, Douglas, Rowling -- a kaleidoscope of literature rested in his little library. He was working on the bible now, the King James version and NSRV at the same time. It was interesting. But when you're an alien, the bible is a hard read. God didn't send a Jesus to the Tenari. What they had was the Greater Good. Even thinking of that phrase... hurt. It had been so long since he'd "served" it. Since he'd lost his faith, and came to this place. But he wondered now, he was almost certain (he'd thought it after reading Marx), if the Greater Good was just a hoax, just a lie to keep an elite class in power. If that was the case, didn't he have a duty, shouldn't he go... and spread the word? Start a revolution? He muled the thoughts over. They felt a little... meglomaniacal. His room was immaculate. Not because he was a tidy person, but because the Gravity Chamber automatically returned everything in his room to normal. Bored, and wishing to distract himself, he began to do situps, all the while pondering what he would do about his home... |

Terel had heard of the gravity chambers and was now heading there to get some training. He wore his school uniform still not having that many outfits and the ones he did were pretty weird. He didn’t know why he had wanted to train that day but he just did. Terel walked into the area and began trying to figure out exactly how you work it. He hadn’t been here at AHS long so all of this kind of stuff really was quite confusing to him. Some doors he tried to open where locked. Others where filled with people training already. He just didn’t know what to do. Finally he found an unlocked door. He opened it and was immediately amazed at the décor. It looked like a room. It had a weird background almost but it was pretty interesting. Assorted things where throughout the room then he noticed a man on the floor doing sit-ups. Terel guessed he must have chosen the wrong room or something. Of course he couldn’t be sure. He decided to just go ahead and bite the bullet. He smiled slightly and began speaking to the man. “ Um I’m guessing this isn’t a training room then?” He said good-naturedly. He then walked a little closer and held out a hand seemingly to not notice the fact the guy was on the floor. “ My names Terel,” he said smiling. He was naturally friendly he couldn’t help it. He found joy in helping people and being mad never crossed his mind. When most people agree in a peaceful tribe isolated from the rest of civilization there isn’t much to infuriate you. |
