Thankfully, Seth had learned how to stop on slippery surfaces while moving as fast as he could, so instead of sliding into a wall going god-only-knows how fast, Seth came to a smooth stop outside the Nurse's office; Josa still being carried in his arms. Only to find a familiar figure standing at the door. Namely; a certain mercenary named Xander. Which wasn't something he was altogether pleased with, and that fact was readily apparent. "Relax Boneboy, the bounty on you has been negated. Those idiots kept complaining it was taking me too long to kill you, so I simply dropped the contract. Now come on, looks like your lady here needs to get inside as quickly as possible. Bad idea to be carrying her too, set her down and I'll help you get her inside," Xander said casually, though growing slightly irritated as Seth still didn't move to comply. Granted he had tried to kill Seth in the past, but business was business. "Well? Move it unless you fancy her giving birth out here in the cold!" That much, Seth had to agree with, and set Josa gently down to the ground. With Xander taking the opposite side, the two helped Josa into the Nurse's office to find that everything had already been prepared in advance.

"Don't get too choked up, this is just an apology for having to insult her to get you to into a fight. Once this is all over, I'm not getting involved with you two at all unless a contract is involved . . . " the mercenary said, helping Seth lay Josa down on a wheeled stretcher that had been brought out for her ahead of time.

"Aww, is the mercenary embarrassed about showing a little heart?"

"No, just making up for treating a lady poorly. Unlike you, I try to keep up a degree of gentlemanly courtesy at all times. Now stop yapping and get going, I'm sure she'll want you present when your daughters are born . . . " Xander replied, watching Seth follow Josa and the staff into a seperate room, trying his best to keep her as comfortable as possible (which could work emotionally, but definitely not physically XD) before taking a seat in the waiting room. He didn't have any attachment to the children, the only reason he was sticking around was that he'd managed to find a few more contacts in this area, so he knew that there were a few others that would be stopping by. He'd just point them off in the direction they needed to go and be on his way . . . well, that was the plan he kept reminding himself of, anyway . . .

Josa tried her hardest not to move, as even breathing hurt. She watched Seth closely, trying to read his expression.
He looked scared, excited, worried, and enthralled--all in one facial tone. It was amazing, how the face worked.
However, he was not as scared, excited, worried, or enthralled as Josa was. Certainly not in as much pain. She breathed in and out slowly, trying to ease the pain.
It was, of course, in vain.

You try having twins. You'll see what I mean.

A sudden, rather large, contraction swept her up and out of the field in pain ranking, thus causing the poor succubus to sit up in pure agony. She reached out for Seth's collar, snagged him, and brought him close.

"So help me, Seth," she growled, her eyes strained in agony. "You will pay for this."

"I don't know how the HELL you did this, kid, but whatever it was, don't do it again."

"Y-Yes sir," the young green-haired boy said, watching the scene unfold. He had a large bandage going from his forehead to his chin, following the curve of his cheek... a nasty cut. However, as he watched the two, he thought of something....

"Hey, I have some friends that you'll have to meet one day. Well... a friend. She'd got a lover by now, probably... Her name's Josa. Used to have a thing for her," Chris said, handing the boy a picture.

"... A... Am I supposed to see this?"

"Wha- OH SHIT. T-That's a present she gave me. I ment to give you this one."

"... Oh."

".... Is that her?" he asked, as the doctor went to the two.

"Okay lady, leggo` of the guy. Come on, come on... Nurse! Jaws of Life, now!"

"I can live with that. Just concentrate on the matter at hand, love; and remember I can heal myself. So feel free to try distracting yourself from the pain as much as you can . . . " Seth said, leaning in and giving her a quick kiss while walking along beside the stretcher. "Well . . . not that it'd be much, but . . . even a little could help . . . "

"Hmmm? Don't bother, she needs something to keep some of her attention elsewhere . . . ow . . . I can manage this, I've had worse . . . y'know, in case you couldn't tell . . . " Seth replied, wincing momentarily as Josa's nails broke the skin and dug into his arm. "Well ... that's one way to deal with it ... >_< ... "

"Josahara? Yes, it's her. Who exactly are you? You aren't any of the people that she had wanted to be here . . . "

Well, seems Xander was acting as security as well as the welcoming party. Which wasn't to say that he'd be particularly lenient an impromptu security guard. He was certain he wasn't exactly welcome on the campus with all his weapons, and he had just participated in an attack against the campus. So as a result he was only carrying his pistols and combat knife; leaving the grenades and throwing knives in his apartment. "Now you can either start talking good and fast, or take a seat here. Your call to make, though don't take too long . . . "

"... Okay sir, your limbs." The doctor, a young man with long silver hair by the name of Marquis Elndor, was having a small little crew assemble with them, as they headed into the surgery room...

"Uh.. I-I'm B-B-Bailey Primrose. I-I'm a f-f-friend of C-Chris Dark... who kn-knew Josa," Bailey stuttered, looking down at his feet. "... S-Sorry."

Josa lied back and whimpered, her pelvis aching with a deep pain.
"Ma'am?"
The poor girl looked up and into the eyes of a compassionate nurse.
"Ma'am, would you like some kind of pain relievant?"

Josa nodded, panting slightly. She watched the nurse dissapear for some epidural, then lied back down. "Seth...Seth, I'm sorry. I--"

She was then, conveniently enough, interrupted by her water breaking. For twins, of course, this caused a diluge of fluids to splash onto the floor. Josa whimpered and looked up at Seth.

"Don't you dare leave me, Seth. Don't you dare..."

"Sorry for what? You don't need to apologize for anything Josa . . . after all, I'm probably more to blame for the whole thing than you are ^^;;" Granted, given the circumstances, it probably wasn't a very wise idea to admit blame, but then again: Seth wasn't exactly concentrating on his own well being at the moment; but Josa's instead.

"Why would I? Come on, you should know me better than that by now, dear . . . " Seth answered, waiting patiently for the nurse to return with Josa's painkiller. "Besides, I just asked you to marry me. That means unless you deliberately try to get rid of me, I'm not going anywhere. And even in that case; I'm notorious for being bullheaded and hard to get rid of ^^" Well, he did have a point there.

The nurse came back... the doctor slapping the meds away from her.

"No, way too dangerous. Get me some Nubain. we'll inject it intothe thighs. She might be out, but it's the safest we got, and it should work better." The nurse returned seconds later with the meds, and quickly injected it into Josa's thigh as they headed for the operating room. "Sir, this your first kid, I guess. Welcome to Hell on Earth for the next few hours." Oh shit.

"... I... Is she okay...?" Bailey asked, obviously new to the whole birthing thing.

Josa shrieked gently as the needle went into her thigh. She immeditaly lied back, the pain easing slowly.
"Seth...I'm sorry. I don't mean to be such a brute."

She gripped the bars of the stretcher and groaned gently, already feeling the first child beginning to fight it's way into the world.

"Oh god...oh god, this one must be yours, Seth. She's fighting tooth and nail."

"Hell on earth? That's it? Wow, must mean everyone else was exaggerating then . . . " Seth replied, actually sounding relieved. Apperently to someone who's literally been in the middle of Hell on Earth, twice, that particular figure of speech lost it's meaning. "Seriously, I'll be able to manage. Pay more attention to her, she's the one in more pain. That and I'll break your arm if you don't do your job, 'kay ^^?" ...well...the cheerful tone he added in was a little unnerving, not to mention completely unnecessary, but definitely good for motivation.

"Just try your best to ignore it, even though I know you can't . . . holes in my arm are proof of that . . . but it'll all be over soon dear. Then the whole thing will be almost over, and you can go ahead and make me pay for putting you through this, alright?" Oddly enough, the usually cold fighter was displaying a great deal of sincerity at the moment, and it was almost to the point of being rather awkward . . .

"Yeah, peachy. Just take my word for it kid, giving birth is hardly the most pleasant experience for a woman to go through. I'd recommend either covering your ears or getting used to the sound, because it won't be going away for a while. Now sit down and wait for the staff to come out and say visitors are allowed in. Until then, stay here or I'll make sure you have your own private room in the infirmary, are we clear?" What a way with words that man had . . .

"Sir, I was TRAINED for this. I know how to give birth better than how most know how to breathe," Marquis said, taking position. "Alright, 'mam, get ready to push! You can do it!"

"... I can handle it," Bailey said, nodding. "... I've heard worst... who are you, anyway?"

Josa gripped Seth's hand, quite roughly, and squeezed. She wasn't sure if she felt any breaking bones, but she did feel something tearing deep within her.

"Goddamn it, I feel tearing!"

There goes my sex life...

She felt the tears streaming down her face, the undescribable pain, and the innate will to push.
Hard.

Josa clenched her teeth and pushed with all of her might, a small cry of fear ripping through her throat.

A nurse, the same nurse who offered the epidural, wiped gently at Josa's face, trying to get rid of the sweat and tears.

"Ah! I see the head...beautiful head of full hair, this one." Came the doctors calm voice.

Josa didn't like him touching and feeling her private area, but she was certain Seth couldnt deliver the girls...

He's probably freaking out right now....

"I didn't say you weren't. But for the next few minutes, I'm not in this room. Pay attention only to her and your nurses, don't waste your time trying to counsel me or offer me advice, I'm not the one trying to deliver twins . . . " Not surprising that Seth would start to develop an attitude with the doctor, but at least he was managing to keep it in check. That was the last he said to the doctor for a while, as he once again turned most of his attention to Josa.

Seth really couldn't think of much he could say to try and comfort her that he hadn't said already, so instead he simply grabbed ahold of her hand and tried his best to reassure her. Frankly, there was a very real threat that she would come close to crushing his hand in her's, but should that happen he could always heal himself when it was over. If anything it might do her some good, getting to release at least a small part of the pain she was in by inflicting it on Seth . . .

"Alright 'mam.. push.. come on.. push... she's almost out..." the doctor said, beforeraising, putting the new baby girl down in Josa's lap. "Nurse, scissors! There's another one and we need to be ready, stat!" The nurse handed him the requested item, and with a snip, the umbilical cord was cut. He handed the scissors back to his nurse, and got ready for the next one. "'Mam, whatever you do, keep pushing! You're halfway there!"

Josa watched as a nurse came up and took Adriana, also known as Yin, from her. She watched the baby get herself cleaned up, then swaddled in a pink blanket.

Then came Clarrise, also known as Yang. Zaimach's daughter. She came quickly, easily...almost painlessly. The girl was brought into the world in under five minutes...which was ironic.

Seth's child, the daughter of the man who loved her, came out kicking, screaming, and fighting.
Zaimach, the man who raped, abused, and used Josa, his daughter came out silent, wide-eyed...staring up at everyone.

She even smiled.

"Seth..." Josa looked up at her fiance, a bit worried. This would be difficult to explain.

"Feeling a little better now? You'll be back to your usual drop-dead gorgeous self in no time, dear. I managed to get the next few months off from work to help out with everything too, and due to the circumstances I'll still be getting paid . . . " Seth said, gently stroking Josa's cheek as he spoke. "So you'll still be catered to as much as you usually are, dear. And of course, I promise not to get into any fights and stay home to help you as best I can ^_^ "

Not surprisingly, even though he hadn't known which of the girls was his beforehand, Seth didn't seem to have any trouble figuring it out on his own. "Even now it's not hard to figure out why you decided to nickname them Yin and Yang . . . " he said, more than likely simply thinking aloud rather than trying to make conversation. "Though I'd take a wild guess and assume the cute little troublemaker is Adriana, right? And the well-behaved one would have to be Clarrise, correct? Think they both inherited your good looks, luv . . . "

"Yeah, and I've put people through worse. Comes with the job . . . " Xander replied, starting a mental inventory of all his supplies while he waited. Needed to know if he was short anything, after all. "Oh, and the name's Alexander Richards. Mercenary. You can call me Xander if you'd prefer though, most people do . . . "

"Quieter now. I imagine they've been born, but don't think those two will be taking visitors for a while. I'd give it an hour or so, give or take a few minutes. Then you'll probably be let in. Then once everyone else shows up, I can get out of here . . . unlike you, I'm only here to make up for something, I've got no vested interest in what's going on . . . "

It wasn't long before Nathaniel entered as well, with Kinai still latched onto his arm. He had thankfully managed to keep some semblance of composure; but nonetheless the entrance caused Xander to raise a brow. "You alright? Usually most guys are happy to have a lady in their company, you look like you're either terrified or up to something . . . "

"....thanks, that'll boost my self-confidence a lot, I owe you one..." Nathaniel replied dryly, already becoming somewhat irritated with the same set of comments over and over again. Granted, he knew they were true; he probably did look nervous with Kinai as close as she was to him. Latching onto his arm didn't help him much either, if anything the personal contact made him even more uncomfortable. Granted, it wasn't as if he didn't like it, it was simply his nerves acting up. Seth was probably right, he definitely needed to get out more and get over being so timid. "Who exactly are you, anyway?"

"Alexander Richards at your service, though if you would; I'd prefer you simply refer to me as Xander. Much more suited to casual conversation. For all intents and purposes, I'm the doorman at the moment. I keep all of you from waltzing on back to see Seth and Josa. Until they move her, no visitors allowed . . . " Xander replied, glancing over at the clock above the front desk before continuing. "The girls have already been born, that much I do know, since the cries have stopped. And since I don't hear bone-boy swearing his head off, Josa's obviously fine. It's been relatively quiet for about twenty minutes now, so you shouldn't have to wait much longer before you can visit them . . . "

Kinai entered still latched onto Nathaniel. He seemed very stiff and nervous the whole way they walked toward the nurse's office.
He needs to learn to be less nervous.
As she thought of this a large sweat drop formed on her head thinking that she would be one of the gals who would break his habit in someway. She soon pushed away from the thought as another newer person came into view.

Kinai just lowered her head with dulled eyes and the anime + type thing on her forehead indicating her embarrasement of the comment. Her face came back to composture and looked at the man.

Nathaniel spoke back in a very irritated with it. Kinai felt a bit of pity for Nathaniel, but she couldn't see how he could be so nervous. She wasn't all that greatly affected not being with guys, but she was a bit more adventurous you could say. But she wasn't doing anything to make him have a heart attack. It was just usually friendly contact.

Kinai looked at the man with question. If he didn't know who he was, then why was he waiting here.

Alexander Richards...or Xander by the way he wants to call him. And he is the doorman for Seth and Josa.
She wasn't really fully aquainted with the two, but she was going to be there for the childrens birth. It was odd though to be here. Not really knowing anybody. And just meeting Nathaniel was kind of weird at the same time. They had some chat, but nothing to be full on best friends. It was sure enough she was making faster friends than she did back home. Or at least she thought she was. There was so many that it would soon be hard to keep track names. But thankfully enough she has been remembering everybodies names so far.

Kinai watched as Xander looked at the clock and then opened his mouth to speak to them. The babies were already born and it wouldn't be too long for them to wait. Kinai was a bit relieved. Sometimes people would have to wait hours for babies to be born. Though this wasn't going to kill her.

Kinai decided to let go of Nathaniel and give him a breather. Her arms loosened and fell to her side, but then one came up to push some of her hair back out of her face.

A nurse soon came scurring by them. Though she had to stop and quickly imply,
"Please move, I have very important business to do at the moment."
Kinai looked and saw her towering wings in her way. Her cheeks reddened and remembered they weren't hidden anymore and she was in the way.
"I'm very sorry."
She turned a bit and folded them in further so the lady could get through. Kinai than did notice the top of them brushing on the ceiling. And noticed it was a bit cramming as well.
"Thank you m'am."
The nurse repiled as she scurried very quickly down the winding hallways of the place.

Man I'm such an idiot. Always getting in the way.

Kinai looked up at Nathaniel and the doorkeeper. She blushed a red hue again and turned. And that very moment a plant fell over nearby. One of her wings had hit it and sent it flying onto the floor and scattering itself in a wave.
Kinai just turned red again and didn't notice her invisability was turned on. It was just instinct and she wasn't doing what she had said to Nathaniel.
"...."
She just opened her mouth and couldn't say anything. Kinai moved across the hall pushed her back as far as she could against the wall and sat down cross legged and quiet.

(((ooc sorry I'm so late, but this is the first time I've had all day to even get on here ooc)))

Nayama ran into the nurses office and heard a few people, helping someone along through what sounded like the birth process, "Seth and Josa of course!" She looked back at her sister, who was looking a bit pale, "You alright, Alter?"

"Yeah, just dandy, though, this makes me a bit scared of what will happen when I have Maur's kids. Will I have to go through this, even if I'm a demon?" She asked.

Heh, like I'm stayin' fer that.

Kohiri was very determined to leave Alter's body during sex and child birth, both wwould probably be a bit odd to experience indirectly.

Nayama just giggled and headed toward the room where Josa was having her babies. She peeked in and smiled sweetly, "Oh dear, I'm late! They've already been born!" She whined quietly at Alter.

"Well that's your fault for wanting to try and find those little toys for them. If they're anything like Seth, they'll rip those toys up while 'playing'." Nayama just stuck her tounge out and walked into the room.

"Oh, how wonderfull! Congrates, Josa and Seth! May your children lead long, healthy lifes." She said sweetly, with all the sincerity in her heart.
