Well, the first day at this school was going along just wonderfully, he'd only been in the hallway a few minutes at his locker before some arrogant student thought he could prove he was hot shit by shoving Sirus into his locker and locking him inside. One teeny, tiny little problem with that though: it couldn't possibly hold him. A bona-fide transformation took place inside; he was shoved in wearing ragged black clothing, with pale skin and cold, empty black eyes. However, the thing that literally clawed it's way out of the metal locker with no apparent difficulty was very different from what had gone in. It was an inky black in color, like a serpentine shadow that moved about upright. It had the lower body of a snake, but the upper body of a human . . . well, to some extent. 18-inch-long talons replaced the fingers, and row upon row of fangs filled the creature's mouth. And instead of empty black eyes, this particular creature boasted a pair of blood-red eyes that burned with a violent hatred for the student who'd been so cocky as to pick on the boy. The two, of course, were one and the same . . .

" . . . holy . . . holy shit . . . "

Well, apparently the boy didn't like what he'd provoked from Sirus, and instead of trying to use any powers he might have had; he turned tail and tried to escape what he'd brought upon himself. However, the 'shadow' chased after him at a blur, catching up with him in an instant and taking a swing at his head with the talons; missing by inches but gouging out the plaster from the walls as if it were nothing but tissue paper. So apparently not only were they long, but the talons were also rather sharp.

"What'ss the matter . . . hehehehe . . . you don't like what'sss happened? Sssuch a sshame . . . . but alasss . . . you mussst reap what you sssow . . . " Granted, the hiss wasn't necessary, it was something Sirus could do at will, but it had the desired effect of scaring the boy further. In another blur of movement, the shadow rushed forward again, swinging at the boy's legs. This time, one of the swings found its mark and tore out a large piece of the boy's right thigh, tossing it to one side while licking the blood from the talons. The screaming was going to get annoying to most of the people in the hallway soon, but it was music to Sirus' ears right now. The wounded student managed to drag himself into a corner, a very bad place to be, and obviously wished he could go through the wall and keep getting away from . . . whatever it was . . . . if someone didn't intervene soon, there would be a rather serious situation in the halls . . .

Meliah suantered down the hall gossiping and giggling with a girl that huddled close to her whispering secrets in her ear. Her raven tress had been thrown up into its usual buns that had scattered whisps of hair thrown in various places and her legnthy bangs swooped to the side and covered one of her round blue eyes. Her books here tossed into her pink sling bag that she readjusted as she heard a loud noise ahead and rolled her eyes at the gossip that filled the halls about a fight. She learned that fights at this school were usually between overbearing and imposing guys that tried to bully eachother and happened rather frequantly. She looked at her friend who slowed down to catch hold of another tidbit. She placed a hand on her slender hip and waited to had to class. A blur of blackness flew past her and caused her to leap back startled. Soon fallowing the whiz of darkness came a scream of pain then a sickening feeling that crept all over her body causing goosebumps. This wasnt your regular jock showdown. This was seriously a problem.

"Someone call the principle!!!"

She shouted as she flung her bookbag to the side and sprinted down the hall toward the ruckus. She had to shove through the chaotic students that semmed to be running the oppisite direction and was slammed into a locker by a rather large jock. It was insane! She grunted in pain as she pressed back into the crowd headed toward the mayhem. Her indigo eyes scanned the crowd looking for a teacher or someone to help. She didnt understand why everyone was running and just how bad everything had gotten. As the people thinned out she say a large serpent thing hovering over something. She rann alittle faster and slipped slightly on a pool of blood but recovered in enough time to continue onward.

"Holy!!"

She responded upon seeing the 'prey' was another student as she came to a stop. What in the world was it? Meliah swallowed the lump that rose in her throat and pressed it down into her chest.

"Hey!!" She shouted again at the large serpent like creature and picked up a stray book that lay scattered on the floor and threw it at the creature. Her eyes swelled with fear. What in the world was she doing?!? She didnt even have any powers to defend herself with. She must have just lost her mind. What a great to completely loose it.

Ha he been some normal kid at a normal school, he would have freaked out and run away to someplace he would think was safe. Instead, his military training had kicked in and he obtained a sudden interest in what the hellish blurr was. Slowly and calmly he walked behind the large beast that stood over the student.

"Ammo test..." Jack pulled out one of his bright and shining desert eagles. Aiming just above the left shoulder he fired. the bullet made a slight wizzing noise as it skimmed the air surrounding the creature above the student.

"Back off!"

((WARNING: Following is NOT for the squeamish ^^"))

Well . . . a book and a gun. Both completely useless in the current situation. The shadow simply sliced the book into confetti with its talons as it was thrown, and didn't seem to respond to the gunshot at all. Instead, it simply continued forward to the student, then reached down with the talons of its right hand and slit the boy open from his neck to his waist, staring into his eyes and managing a rather disturbing grin. With a few more quick swipes from the talons, and a little more 'red paint' in the corner than there was previously, the shadow grinned wider and backed away from the boy. "Ah, now there's your problem. You really are nothing but a cold, heartless little fool . . . " he laughed, turning the severed heart around in his hand and examining it before simply tossing it into his mouth and swallowing it in one gulp. Yes, he hunted for his meals, and was partial to humans. Though he usually tended to go after only the ones that he believed had wronged him. Like the rather unfortunate boy in front of him.

"Oh, how rude of me. I didn't offer either of you a piece. You can feel free to help yourselves to the rest of him though, I'd personally recommend the eyes. They usually have a delightful taste to them when compared to the rest of the body. Plus it's always amusing the way they tend to 'pop' when you bite down on them . . . " Sirus said, the cheerful tone managing to only make things increasingly uncomfortable. Since he had mentioned it, he once again reached down to the boy's body and carved his eyes out from their sockets, much to the displeasure of those nearest him, and offered them to both the girl who'd thrown the book and to the boy who'd shot at him. "Care to try one? And what, pray tell, do you intend to do with those pea-shooters of yours boy? Are you going to shoot me? Even after this little friendly gesture? By all means go ahead if you wish, but don't get your hopes up . . . "

Jack had taken a blow there.

"Nobody insuts my weapons...." Jack mumbled as he drew forth four frag spiders and one napalm spider. Without a moments hesitation he tossed all five at him.

Jack smiled a little, he then got into his ready stance as the frag spiders dropped short and began skittering towards the beast

"Do I have your attention now?" He asked as he droped the desert eagle.

OOC: Sorry, figured details would help catch your attention))

The look on her face must have been seriously priceless to the creature whom seemed to take to much pleasure in someone elses pain. Her eyes were completely glazed over with salty tears that seemed to flood her vision but refused to crawl out of her eyes. The fear and horror was apperent to all, not to mention the fact that her normally sweet faces was contorted in disgust as the beast toyed with the corpse before devouring the heart. She had never seen such brutality, such disturbing display of animalistic behavior, wait not even animals acted like that. Meliah’s azure eyes fell on the limp bleeding body of the boy and she almost lost it. A strange feeling tossed about her stomach and began to coil its way around her legs making them weak. She almost collapsed on the floor, out of shock or fear she did not know but she reached out a small tan hand and held fast to a locker that was near by.

"Do I have your attention now?"

With his words ringing in her ears as she shook her head and forced her legs to gain their strength again. She shook her head harder this time, the words bouncing around in her dry mouth but unable to tumble out. They had to get this thing out of the hallway for it hurt someone else. Although the hallway was almost devoid of other students there were a few still shuffling around and lying on the floor passed out.

Future heros of the world my ass. Where are the teachers when you need them?

She drew in a breath of air to calm herself then touched the boy on the arm and said in a low voice. “No! We have to get it out of here..away from all the other students. But how?”

"Not really, no . . . " came the reply, one of the shadow's arms swinging about and slicing through the spidermines, detonating a few while instead disabling others. The napalm mine and two of the ordinary spider mines were set off, though the remaining mines had apparently been cut in just the right place by luck alone. When the smoke from the explosion cleared, there were several holes in the creature from the shrapnel, but most of the damage seemed to be focused around the arm it attacked the mines with. Well, to put it bluntly, it had been blown off. "And you still don't have it. Though now not only do you seem to possess some worthless pea-shooters, but also rather annoying firecrackers at your disposal as well . . . " The reason for the arrogance was evident soon enough, the holes in the creature's body were quickly filled again, and it wasn't more than five or six seconds before it's arm was re-formed.

"Though frankly, apparently I don't have to kill any of the students in here, you seem eager enough to do it yourself . . . " he laughed, referring of course to all the students in the immediate area that had fallen victim to either shrapnel or napalm. "Using explosives, indoors, in a crowded hallway . . . priceless. How do you expect to be a hero if you kill everyone you're trying to save?!" The girl who'd thrown the book at him earlier attracted his attention next, and with the same amount of speed he'd displayed earlier, the shadow darted over to both her and the fool with the guns and coiled around them, leaving one or two feet between himself and the two of them. He wasn't planning on attacking them of course, but he'd learned that particular behavior was usually incredibly unnerving, often times causing the person he was toying with to panic or lose control of their nerves (not literally, of course ^^").

"If I could make a suggestion girlie, you could tell Rambo to back the hell off and I'll be on my merry way. I'm not here to go on some killing spree, I was simply giving that particular asshole what he rightly deserved. And having myself a little snack at the same time of course, I've been a little peckish lately . . . and for the record, kindly stop referring to me as an 'it'. I'm a student you clueless fool, or did you have trouble piecing together the clues? Like not only being inside the school in the first place, but coming out of a locker as well. I thought it was self-explanitory, but apparently no one is quite as smart as they should be . . . "

Jack was becoming slightly more annoyed now. First his guns, then his personal spiders....

"He didn't have to die...." Jack said as he kept his left arm at the ready. "...there's always room for a second chance..." Jack remained calm as the student surrounded him and the girl. He'd seen worse many times before. Above all if he had access to the arsenal that was available during his time in the military, the kid would be deader than dead. There would be nothing remaining, every last part of his body would have been incinerated into nothingness. With that though something came to mind. He did have access to one peice of technology that nearly demolished the school's labs. No razor sharp talons could penetrate it's thick armor either.

"I'd recommend you stop with the pointless trick. It doesn't fit you." Jack said as he pulled out a small switch from his pocket. There had been multiple buttons placed on the surface. along with that it also had one big red squar button smack in the middle.

"First and foremost, that is simply your opinion; and apparently something you only feel applies to whomever you wish at the moment. 'Always room for a second chance' . . . you lying fool, if that were the case you'd have simply let me leave rather than tossing those ridiculous explosives at me. That said, kindly refrain from opening your mouth again unless something other than hypocritical drivel is going to come out of it . . . " the shadow growled, glaring at Jack briefly before continuing to circle the two.

"Gee, I apologize, I guess all I really wanted was attention . . . " ...well, it didn't really need to be pointed out, but the sarcasm was damn near impossible to note notice in that reply. Especially given the light chuckle that followed. "Please . . . you rely on guns and bombs of all things to save your own pathetic hide, for whatever good they'd do here. If anything, you're the one who fails to see that simply shooting me or throwing those stupid mines is an exercise in futility. I'll save you the time; until I change back to my normal human form, you can't kill me. Unless of course, I let you in on the one way to do it; which I'm not going to. Giving away weaknesses via arrogance never did appeal to me. The same applies with getting me out of this form; figure it out yourself or leave me alone, I've more important things to do than play with a foolish gunslinger all day. Though if you do consider this 'trick' pointless, how about another . . . "

It wasn't long before the shadow suddenly changed from being a three dimensional creature to a two dimensional one, then slid between the tiles of the floor and vanished from view. He was of course, still audible. Though, the only thing that could be heard was an eerie laughter that seemed to move everywhere about the hallway, then abruptly stopped. After a few moments of silence, the shadow still didn't show itself. However, behind Jack, one of the being's hands silently moved up through the cracks again and took a swipe at his achilles tendons with the talons . . . nowhere near fatal, but if those were severed; Jack would undoubtedly wish that it was fatal . . .

Meliah was speechless. Her crimson lips were parted in shock but again no words could dome out. I mean really what could you say in a situation like this. Let's all go to Disneyland? Come on now. She had been sheltered and babied from the day she was born, enjoying the suburb life as an only child so blood and gut just were not her thing. She squeeked as she was wrapped up in his coiling tail and still no words. Her chest began to resonate with a strange feeling she had never felt before. It wasnt fear but she just couldnt put her hands on the feeling that shook her guant frame. Was it her powers finally deciding it was her time? She would have been elated in any other situation but seeing as there were dead innocent bodies on the floor and about to be some more she couldnt really celebrate. Her azure eyes went wide at the thought. These were innocent students who had done nothing wrong but try to go to class. She looked over at the foolish boy and then the student who had started this whole problem and she could pin point the exact feeling that filled her lungs with utter disgust. Rage. Simply Rage. How could they just waste the lives of their fellow students? Who the hell did they think they were?

you could tell Rambo to back the hell off and I'll be on my merry way.

She couldnt take it anymore! They were like bickering childeren! At first she thought the fight was more serious than each trying to prove their power in this huge school so that they could stake their place in history. She was right the first time it was turning into nothing more than a stupid Jock fight.

"They both of you just STOP!!!!!!!" Her voice boomed from her tiny lungs and shook her slim frame sending loose papers in the hallway fluttering down the corridor but did nothing more then give both boys a small shove backward. If both of them were students how in the world would murdering innocents make you a hero. He was right, but at the same time in the wrong.

"For Gods Sakes What is wrong with you? Okay granted you have been bullied but was ripping the guys heart really needed?" She stated with an air of sarcasm that matched his own. She turned to the boy with the trigger finger and simply rolled her eyes at him. "And you...you...your an idiot. What part of school HALLWAY did you miss? Seriously!" She spoke with such power and authority you would think she actually had some.

((Sorry, I had to go to my brothers house and my Laptop is wireless. So if you want to ditch me in the story you can cause I wont be back on campus till sunday. Again sorry.))

The slight increase in pressure from one direction didn't seem to surprise Jack at all. She was frustrated, just like the Blackeyes were when they were first created...

One thing that did catch his attention was the small talon inching it's way to his achilles tendons, which he couldn't ignore. With a swipe of his left arm he grabbed the and pulled it away.

"You think you can get away with something like that?" Jack asked. "She's right, even if he deserved to die, you don't keep going, as for the first chance I gave you, I fired a warning shot over your shoulder and told you to back off..." The monstrosity was quite ignorant to things that happen around him. "...I warned you, I gave you a chance, a second chance, and yet you decided to kill him anyway, hurt him enough to make him want to run, then you kill him!?!?" Jack seemed slightly more angry now, after a few seconds he stopped and calmed down.

"By the way, my pea-shooters aren't just that, they pack high velocity armor peircing heavy explosive rounds, enough to blow a limb off of somebody..."

"Could have eaten more of him if that's what you wanted girlie. I get hungry; I eat. Usually only people, or parts of people, that managed to get on my bad side. Of course, I could always start dining on random students if you're getting so uptight about the way I live my life. So which do you prefer, since you seem so eager to be in charge. Choose who gets to die why don't you . . . " The shadow had come up from underneath the tiles in front of them, glaring at the girl who was busy lecturing him on proper behavior. Once again though, the kid with the guns struck a nerve by not having the common sense to listen to Sirus.

"Oh, and those little firecrackers of your's weren't? Honestly you fool, when I tell you I can't be killed in this form, I damn well know what I'm talking about. I'll prove it to you if you're still going to hold onto the ignorant belief that anything you have will do jack-shit to me - " the shade's arm suddenly reached out and pointed the barrel of the gun at it's own head, then pushed against the trigger. Sure enough, Jack was right; the high calibur bullet did in fact blow the shadow's head clean off. However, it was grown again mere seconds afterward. "Believe me now? You can't kill me, but if it's of any condolence to you, that hurt like hell (couldn't resist using that line, but you'll get a cookie if you know where it's from ^_^)."

How many military grade weapons would he have to go through before he figured out what could blow him away? Burning might work but then again...

Jack thought for a few seconds then remembered the controller in his other hand.

"Hah! Bet you weren't expecting a spec ops team to leave a droid capable of incinerating everything within twenty feet into nothingness!" Jack shouted as he raised the controller. No doubt once he pressed the big red button, the Black Rust unit would come crashing through the lab walls and into the hallway, being as that was where he left it after the attack. Removing the protective cover he pressed the big red button in the middle with an evil grin on his face.

A loud explosion came from the distance, an explosion that sounded much like that of the bomb Black Rust was carrying. It wouldn't have destroyed the whole lab, but the explosion would be enough to destroy Black Rust's upper armor. Jack's grin faded.

"That....wasn't...supposed to happen..." He said as he remained in his stance.

"...well, I wasn't expecting to see something as utterly pathetic either, but that little display was definitely unexpected. Whatever the hell it was you did. Now if you'll kindly excuse me, I'd rather go before I shift back. I'll deal with you later if I have that sort of time . . . " Sirus replied irritably, vanishing back underneath the floortiles and making his reappearance at a different part of the building. Not so much out of fear, but because in his normal form it would be difficult to defend himself against firearms if he was stuck in his normal human form. Though, that wasn't to say that problems in the hallway were over entirely. Granted, nobody else was in mortal danger, but there was one particular entity remaining that was far from friendly towards the students at the school.

"Interesting power that one has . . . have to remember him in the future . . . "

Xander was leaning calmly against a wall of lockers as if nothing at all had happened, taking notes on a small notepad. At a glance it was obvious he wasn't a student, nor was he a professor; but he possessed the same distinct impression of authority and professionalism that the latter did. The mercenary always kept a clean appearance, and as a result tended to be considered rather attractive; though unless he chose to act differently his usual detached attitude immediately prevented him from receiving many advances. His attire consisted of a long wool coat that reached down to his mid-calf, a simple black t-shirt, matching slacks, and black dress shoes (kept well-polished of course).

"As for you boy, you need to learn how to make a proper strategy. So you have some useful tools at your disposal, big deal. They're utterly worthless unless you possess the knowledge to use them effectively . . . " Normally one wouldn't speak to an armed person in such a manner, but Xander was hardly unprotected. Aside from the highest level of body armor available (even from military sources), Xander also had his reflexes and enhanced abilities to fall back on. Well, that and that he wasn't exactly unarmed at the moment. He had his Five-n-seveN pistols with him as well, in addition to his combat knife, three throwing knives, and three fragmentation and flash-bang grenades. All very well-hidden of course; one didn't work as a mercenary as long as Xander had without learning how to properly conceal firearms and other weapons. Besides, it was far less a load than one would think. Unbeknownst to the boy at the moment, Xander was busy taking notes on the students gathered in the hall for a very special reason. Nothing would be of greater use to his new employers than intel on the students most prone to trying to defend the school. After the little display earlier, Jack was of special importance . . . by being so reckless with his weapons, VENOM could easily manipulate the boy to create even further casualties amongst the student body the next time they decided to invade the campus . . .

Three men had kicked down a door seconds after the boy had left. As soon as the door was clear they scanned the room for anything that seemed hostile. Nothing posed too much of a risk. The officer, unlike the other two was weilding an auto pistol. the other two were armed with advanced XM-8's. Both of the men armed with the assault rifles slowly walked and checked to see if any of the bodies were still alive. All of the men, unlike normal soldiers, were dressed in standard FFP grey uniforms with no protective gear other than their armor. Along with that the onlly gear they had other than their assault rifles were their belts, meant for carrying ammo clips and other supplies

"We have two survivors, out of around....eight..." The second one said as he helped one of them up. The Officer then began looking around for anybody that might have been a witness.

"Take the wounded to the nurses office, I need to talk with somebody..." The officer said as he turned to face Xander

Jack looked around for a few seconds. He had killed innocent people...

The whole thing seemed to be a nightmare, only it wasn't because of a monstrosity, but the destruction of those who would be unable to come back. He had massacred multiple people with his own weapons. Had the boy been right about what he was? Slowly Jack turned around and began walking in an opposite direction of the destruction. He tried to help somebody, but only made things worse...

((May just be a case of a gun-fanatic nit-picking, but the OICW program was suspended as of September 2005, a program that the XM-8 is a part of. Furthermore, it hasn't even finished testing yet. So . . . why do they have 'em o_O? Oh, and magazines for ARs, clips for pistols and rifles ^^" Like I said . . . sorry, but I = gun nut to the ninth degree XD))

Xander only glanced over at the entrance made by the three men, rolling his eyes at their choice to kick down an unlocked door. If this were still a dangerous situation, it would be understandable. But shots had long since stopped firing, and it wasn't as if any more screams were coming from the hall. So there was no reason whatsoever for the dramatic entrance, and in Xander's eyes they looked like utter fools.

"Yes you may want to take care of the wounded, it was that idiot's fault . . . look, I wouldn't even do something that dangerous. Screw collateral damage to the students, using explosives in a bloody hallway when you're that close to your target is bordering on suicidal and definitely well within the realm of stupidity and horrible judgement. I'm hoping the goon squad here is a little more knowledgable in regards to their equipment however, because I don't want to have to clean blood off my clothing due to another's ineptitude . . . "

The officer gave a slight look of anger as he turned to Xander. Raising his gun he slammed the butt into a locker right next to Xander.

"Why is it that you seem so familiar?" He asked as he removed the butt of the auto pistol from the locker. Before he could do anything else, another voice called in.

"Leave him be Ricker..." James said as he walked in. James was around the age of seventeen. He was wearing his usual business suit and tie, along with the old wooden cane that had animal shapes carved into the sides of it.

"We need not bother him," James said again. He then turned towards Jack. "Don't feel bad Jack, you did the best you could..." He then turned to face Xander and raised one of his hands as a friendly gesture. "I apologize for my officer's mistake in identifying you properly, my name is james marsh, I've recently had a security team sent here to protect the school from anything....human related...

Xander only gave a casual glance at what was obviously supposed to be a threatening gesture, then simply sighed and tucked the pen and notepad away inside his trenchcoat. A glimpse of one of his shoulder holsters would have been visible for an instant, but he didn't make a move for the gun so it would be unlikely to set off any mental alarms. "If you're quite through playing the bad-ass, kindly show the proper respect anyone in a position of authority should show, or I'll be forced to beat you senseless in front of your subordinates. Do we understand one another?" Xander stated all this calmly, keeping eye contact with the annoyance in front of him.

"That's what DRAGON is for, your presence isn't needed here. Besides that irresponsible child and Ricker the rent-a-cop, you should probably take your services elsewhere. Above all others, there are two main reasons for such a thing . . . " Xander said casually, though ignoring the extended hand that James had shown him. "First of all, I've personally seen DRAGON work. They're much more capable, even if they do show a deplorable lack of teamwork between all members. Second of all, I am a threat that is human-related; but not at the moment. The wonderful part of being a mercenary is that you only work one job at a time. Since I haven't been paid for another move on the school, I'm currently no threat. Attempt to raise arms against me now however, and I will show you exactly how big a threat I can be. I may be human, but do not underestimate me or I will ensure you're six feet down and looking up . . . "

"Rent-a-cop my ass..." Ricker mumbled as he crossed his arms and walked behind James.

"You fail to understand what we're capable of....We are one of the most advanced and well trained military forces on earth. Although we still have yet to expand our reach further, we still do what's right. As for our presence, it's more because of him..." James said as he pointed to Jack.

"You were no where near the school when the Spec ops teams invaded, some Job you've been doing..." ricker said as he laughed a little. "At best we've probably encountered you once, if not then you aren't as good as you say you are...."

"Quiet Ricker." James said as he raised a hand. "I hope we'll be able to have future business...." James said as he turned around and began walking away.

"We welcome your presence, but let it be a problem between us, we'll take you out..." Ricker said as he followed.

Jack simply stood there. watching as the other two men carried the wounded out of the hallway.

"You were no where near the school when the Spec ops teams invaded, some Job you've been doing...At best we've probably encountered you once, if not then you aren't as good as you say you are...."

"Oh please, like I'd trouble myself with Spec ops. I'm on VENOM's payroll you incompetent twit, which is why you've never run into me. I've already taken out targets here, and you've been nowhere near the scene. DRAGON had to intervene, people with actual powers and common sense. Well, most of them have common sense anyway, there are some who are more reckless than even him . . . " Xander replied irritably, jerking a thumb at Jack so Ricker knew who he was talking about. "As for you, here . . . just because it's painful even watching you try to use the weapons you have . . . "

Xander was once again speaking to Jack, with the same disapproving tone of course, but this time he reached into his coat and tossed two grenades his way. Obviously, they weren't live grenades just yet, they had yet to be set. "XM84 flash-bangs. Non-lethal, so hopefully you won't be filling up the damn med-ward within the next week. Use them instead of those damn mines of yours when you're indoors, just make sure you're around a corner before they go off or you'll be both temporarily blind and deaf. As humorous as it would be to watch, it's only fair I tell you how they work before you got curious and tried yourself. Use the damn mines outdoors . . . "

"Oh really? Well rent-a-cop, why not step right on over here and give it a shot. Since I'm sure nobody wants to see the contents of your skull splattered against a wall, however small a mark they would make, you could always try hand-to-hand. Or knives if you prefer; I'd even give you one of mine to use. But unless you're ready to back your threat, kindly keep your double-digit IQ in check and get your ass back to the job you're supposed to be doing . . . "

Somehow, Jack had managed to respond to the words being tossed about. While no one was paying attention, he moved closer. His eyes had once again almost lost their color. His left hand twitching. Upon reaching Xander, he grabbed him by the neck with his left arm and slammed him against the lockers. Slowly the grip of the mechanical arm grew stronger. His right arm withdrew his desert eagle and pressed it against xander's chest.

"Where do you get off talking about people like that?? Do you think I enjoy killing innocent people? Do you think you aren't any more deserving than the scum who plague me every day of my life!?!?" Jack squeezed tighter as his voice became slightly louder. All the while Ricker was busy trying to pry Jack off of Xander.

"Jack! We don't need this now! Let him go before you snap his neck!" Ricker shouted as he pulled even harder.

There was a brief wince from Xander, then the calm expression returned as he grasped the metal limb while Jack was busy with his tirade. Ricker unwittingly allowed Xander to make his next move; relieving just enough of the pressure for Xander to pry the hand back further and duck out of his grip. His coat was tossed to one side to allow easier movement, and to show just how well-armed Xander was at the moment.

Both shoulder holsters for the Five-n-seveNs were clearly visible; as was the sheath for his combat knife, two fragmentation grenades, and also two throwing knives. The body armor he wore was hidden beneath a plain black t-shirt though, so unless someone tried hitting him or shooting him they wouldn't notice (because while it is somewhat bulky, Xander's physique minimizes the effect; since he's hardly scrawny). He had already dropped into a combat stance, his knife in his right hand while he kept his other hand free. He was close enough to minimize the usefullness of Jack's Desert Eagle as well; if he even looked like he was turning to aim it at Xander again, he would find the knife blade planted firmly in his neck.

"Boy, kindly refrain from testing my patience. Especially with a cheap sneak-attack such as that, I have very little tolerance for acts of such cowardice. As for whether you enjoy hurting people like that, if you want me to think otherwise, learn the responsibility required to use those weapons of yours wisely. Or you could continue to harass me, at which point I will have no choice but to consider you a threat, however mild, and neutralize you. Consider that the customary ultimatum . . . "

"He's armed!" One of the men shouted as they returned from the nurses office. Five more men had followed behind them to help clean the rest of the mess. Immediatly they all dropped and shouldered their weapons. Ricker was also aiming his gun at Xander, while a small glock remained aimed at Jack.

"Both of you STOP!" He shouted as he switched the safeties off of both guns. "Neither of you can fight eight armed men and one battle suit standing outside, so just calm down, and walk in opposite directions!" Ricker said with a slightly calmer tone. He waited.

"...and you people call yourselves highly trained?! For God's sake I tossed him flash grenades and you weren't in the least concerned with why I had them in the first place?!" Xander shouted back, immediately losing any shred of respect the rent-a-cops had in his eyes. Plus, they'd seen his shoulder-holsters earlier, and that alone should have registered with them. The arrival of the other soldiers was regrettable, at least the positioning was. They weren't close enough for a grenade alone to take out, and with something else outside it meant he was somewhat surrounded. Plus, with the narrow hallway, he couldn't fall back on his agility to even the odds out. Still, backing down first wasn't an option.

"I wouldn't be so hasty as to say that, but in this particular scenario you'd be right. If there was more freedom to move about, then that threat would have been a death wish. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm holding a blade at the moment, so I'm not exactly the biggest of the two threats you twit. Get the wannabe robo-cop to holster the .50 and I'll put the knife away. Until then, it's staying out . . . " Xander answered, still watching Jack for any suspicious movement . . .

The sounds had come almost instantly after Xander replied. The clicking of a hammer to a gun.

"We'll all drop our guns, as soon as the biggest threat proceeds to do so, we know what you are thinking, so listen , put away the knife, and we'll all go home. As for thinking about hitting me with that knife anywhere, it won't work too good towards killing me..." Another voice said calmly from behind Xander.

"He's right, besides, Jack couldn't pull the gun towards you in time, with you surrounded, not complying with us will most likely make this a quick end for you, drop your knife, Jack, drop your gun, and we'll all just proceed with cleaning up..." Ricker said, now even more tense.

Heavy boots clicked on the linoleum floor as that horrible visage of a true monster entered the halls of this school. He was a monster in the truest sense that this school could give, he murdered students, slew warriors, butchered children, desecrated corpses and came almost nightly to plague the dreams of AHS’s most stalward heroes. Those purple eyes looked across the room his sunglasses falling to the edge of his nose allowing the straw access to his mouth. Yes the undead psychotic had a straw inside his mouth, what you might ask was on the other end? The end that was being sucked? Oh just the heart of that power suit guard outside. With a nasty slurping sound he sucked the blood out like it was just a macabre capri sun.

The outside guard had been no difficulty whatsoever; especially for anyone with more then a 4th grade education. The corpse had been destroyed the human’s chest cavity torn out and his head bashed in, all so Kaie could have a little snack. He didn’t feel bad at it for even half a second, hell if he didn’t see a problem with eviscerating a child as it prayed to some impotent god what chance did some wannabe rent-a-cop stand? Oh well it wasn’t overly important at the moment, the truth is Kaie had come here to play boogeyman because someone he knew quite well had to be kept dull in senses until they finally cracked.

The dark hat kept his vermillion hair down looked like it had seen better days, there were a few bullet holes in it but it was still in tact and for that everyone was thankful. His coat had streaks of purple on it, obviously people took that color as his banner, his closest body guards wore it proudly and in the underworld it was clear they wouldn’t be messed with. Kaie traveled here without escort, without body guards simply because it was easier and while school was in session there wasn’t anyone worth his time to kill…he killed things anyway but that wasn’t the point.

Oh the founder and leader of VENOM certainly enjoyed seeing death and carnage, he didn’t however like being left out of it. He walked near the group slowly his arm growing opaque and distorted. Only when he got close and just about passed them did his arm truly vanish. Where had it gone? That was an easy question, it had turned into a thin mist which those pathetic rent a cops breathed in, sadly that’s when his hand started to reform turning their lungs into the consistency of hamburger. All except lucky Jack and Ricker. Ricker was lucky because there wasn’t enough mist arm to go all the way to his lung so a finger ended up forming a good way down his throat. Jack on the other hand got a number of pale fingers touching his scalp.

“You want to kill him? Go ahead…go on…strangle him, tear him apart. Then he will come back…your guns will be useless and I will laugh as he tears your lungs out of your chest and beat you with them.”

"Oh....crap..." Ricker mumbled as he saw the men drop. three other men off at the end of the hallway looked at the figure slightly frightened, then turned around and ran off. Jack stayed where he was.

"Who said I wanted to kill him?" Jack replied as he placed the heavily modified desert eagle into it's holster. "...It wouldn't be hard to kill him, but when people like you arrive, then things get nasty...." Jack then turned to look outside. Indeed the large battle suit had been killed. A hole torn through the chest, the master arms had been reaching to cover it while the slave arms had simply repeated the gesture, failing to cover the injury. The large gun it carried had been dropped to the ground.

"Damn, did a good number on him!" ricker said as he leaned out to see what had happened to the battle suit. Upon seeing it he holstered his Auto pistol and shoved the glock into a wrist holster hidden under his sleeve.

"Better get going now..." He said with a slight yawn. Upon reaching the door he began sprinting away from the area, just fast enough to vanish behind a building.

"Oh, good to see you. Missed an interesting show earlier, watched a student rip open another student and eat his heart. Got an eye too, but he dropped the second after offering it to the trigger-happy kid here. He may be of some use . . . . this one could too, in a sense. This mess is all his fault, he tried to stop the other one and wound up killing half a dozen students and wounding several others in the process . . . we should try and arrange it so he gets promoted into DRAGON, he could do the dirty work for us . . . " Xander said, clearly not too phased by Kaie's arrival. He'd already worked with him in the past, and he was Kaie's payroll, so it wasn't as if it would be any particular cause for alarm.

Xander watched Ricker disappear from view, tempted to fire off a few shots from his pistols to see if it made the man run any faster, but he thought better of it. No need to waste ammo on him.

"I'm sure. You might want to re-think that boast though, at present I'm the only human in the ranks. Well, only one that isn't an undead follower that is. But if you do want to give it a shot, feel free. I have all the things I need right here . . . "

"I prefer to go against bringing back the dead..." Jack replied as he turned around. "...makes things easier..." He then began walking away slowly.

((OOC: I'm having a sucky post day too, I feel your pain  ))
