Jack sat in the snow covered grass, dressed in what looked much like a black version of what he normally would wear. Something could easily explain this but the reason was as small as a cell in the ocean of reasons. Jack had his legs crossed and his head bowed in meditation. His mind elsewhere while he waited calmly for somebody he was expecting |

Daisuke had made his way over to the lake, ready to begin training. He was wearing his usual black Chinese shirt and black pants and had his hair tied back as usual, though this time he came unarmed unlike most times he had gone to do training. Then again, whatever he was going to do, he was about to go at it full-go -- no holding back. However, he was kinda holding some inner pain inside of him. Throughout the past few weeks and months, it seemed to him like he had been causing more and more harm to people -- and he was pretty much hating himself for it. He was never one to want to cause harm; in fact, if anything, he wants to make things better for people -- but he just seems to drag others down, and he's tired of it. He wants to find a way to stop causing so much harm to others ... but how? He walks over to Jack, who seems to be in a state of meditation. "I'm ready." |

Quietly Jack stood up. Looking over towards Daisuke he gave a smile and looked towards the lake. "Well, glad to see that you came..." Jack said as he reached out to shake Daisuke's hand. "...The first step is an easy one," |

Daisuke shakes Jack's hand. He isn't quite sure what to expect, but he was ready for pretty much anything. He also gives Jack a smile, but he does wonder what that step is. If it meant that he could finally stop being detrimental to people, though, he was ready to take it on, pretty much no matter what it was (of course, as long as it was within reason -- not like jumping off a cliff or something, but he wasn't expecting that doing something like that would have anything to do with this). "Yeah?" |

"Well first we're going to get something that will help you out a lot, you need to feed and care for this creature, and in the end they will be a helpful reward." Jack replied as he walked over to a large crate. Opening it up he began digging through it for a few seconds until he finaly found what he had been looking for. With a smile he pulled out a small basket with a kitten inside it. ((OOC: This is called the RPkitten relief)) Jack handed the small basket to him and continued to speak. "This creature will be the first and last part of your training, when you are aggrivated, talk to her and she'll purr and meow in response..." He said as rubbed the head of the kitten. The kitten looked up and him and let out a small meow. It then curled up into a little ball on the sheets in the basket. |

(OOC- Cool !!) Daisuke then wonders what Jack is searching in the crate for ... he mentioned some sort of creature -- of course, the first thing that came to Daisuke's mind upon hearing "creature" was some sort of animal that he hadn't seen before or at least one that wouldn't normally be kept as a pet ... and then he pulls out a basket with a kitten in it. Daisuke smiles warmly; it's cute !! "Cool! Thank you !! I will definitely take good care of her, feeding her and caring for her and doing all the things that a good pet owner would do." Like many of the things he does, he was going to give this all he's got; this time, though, it was even more important that he does so. This could be a huge step in him learning how to not harm people. "I will take good care of her. ... By the way, does she have a name?" If she already did, he wanted to know what to call her. |

"Her name is ribbon, she's still pretty young so she'll need some care, this is also the point in her life where elements around her begin to help change how she acts." Jack then turned to face the Lake. With a slight sigh he let his head hang for a moment. He then turned around. "Ok, here's the second part of your training, why do you hurt people? What do you feel when you punch them or hit them with something?" Jack asked with a slightly interested look on his face. |

Daisuke smiles. "Cute! I'll definitely do the very best I can to take care of her." He was definitely going to do whatever it takes. ... As for why he hurts people -- he doesn't as much hurt people physically as he does emotionally, and the thing is ... he doesn't even intend to do harm. "Well ... other than in training, it isn't as much me hurting them physically as it is bringing them down, doing emotional harm to them, abusing them emotionally until they end up getting fed up with it and fed up with me ... I mean, occasionally I lose my temper and just let someone have a taste of my fist ... but most of the time, it's either me abusing them with words or toying with their hearts and then dropping them just when they feel like we're hitting it off well ... thing is, I don't even intend to do it ... it just seems to happen subconsciously ... I always find myself feeling really guilty about it -- but I just can't seem to stop." He puts his head down, a bit sad. "I want to do good; I want to be of benefit to people ... but it just seems like ... I keep saying or doing the wrong thing ... and then it ends up hurting others." |

Jack looked up for a second in thought. "Well, you could start with the basic things, whenever you see somebody that needs assistance, go ahead and help them. Second, find those who you've hurt and talk with them. But before engaging in conversation, call me so I can make sure you don't crash and burn in the litle talk with them..." Jack said as he began walking back to the crate. "Best way to say you are sorry is with some sort of object, per se..." He stopped as he began digging around in the crate. After a few seconds he popped back out with a dark green sweater. With a slightly surrpised look he stuffed the sweater back into the crate and pulled out a red sweater instead. "Eh, that was for somebody else..." He said as he handed the sweater to him. "...Think about what goes on around you, nature, see how you might be able to help others in such a situation. Meditate near the lake like I do and you'll think of ways to help out friends." |

This sounds like some good advice -- he hadn't really done a ton for others lately, so it was about time he started doing some good things for others again. It is also a good idea to talk to the people, but he didn't really have the correct words to say to them that wouldn't result in hurting them more deeply -- so that does sound good to talk to them. He hadn't meditated a ton, probably due to always being busy and seeking out new challenges -- but he should try to work it in every so often. He also takes the red sweater. "Thank you! That is some good advice -- I should start doing some of those things -- I haven't really done some of those things as much as I should ... Now, some of the people I hurt are quite far away from me distance-wise ... how should I go about patching things up for them? Also, I think much of it tends to have to do with me getting angry and saying the wrong thing. How do I learn not to say the wrong thing in the heat of anger?" He figured he should probably get all of the bases covered while he was here so that if a situation were to come up later, he would know what to do. |

Jack smiled a little once he heard this. "This might be one of the more difficult things to do..." He looked down for a second. "...When you are angry or frustrated, if you want to say something bad, then replace it with good thoughts. Think of a comedian you saw on TV and repeat some of his jokes in your head or just res your head on something and give youself some time to think." |

Daisuke thinks about this. He had seen quite a few comedians -- also several funny TV shows, some of which are still airing on TV. The tough part is getting himself to do that automatically; it would take quite a bit of practise. "That sounds like a good idea -- the tough part is that it'll kinda have to become second nature; it'll take some practise, but once I'm able to do it -- then I can finally stop hurting people. ... One more thing -- occasionally I just say the wrong thing unintentionally -- like it's supposed to be innocent but it's taken the wrong way. How do I kinda convey how I feel about people and their actions correctly?" This had been a concern of Daisuke's for quite awhile, as misunderstanding had been one of his main problems as far as communication goes. |

Jack took a few seconds to think about it then turned to him again. "Sometimes people are capable of knowing what type of person somebody is, I'm good at it because so many people have been accepting me that I've had plenty of space to learn about it, observing friends. You might need some pointers on it, I'll see if any of my friends might like to come along and help..." Jack looked around, after a few seconds, he stopped. "I have one more test for you before we end this day, and return tomorrow..." Jack said with a slight grin. "...this will be one of the few things that make it bad for you to insult people." |

Daisuke hadn't had a lot of friends during his time so far at AHS, but he wanted to make some more friends -- unfortunately, the fact that he didn't have very many made it difficult to kinda gauge the type of person someone is. "Sounds good to me!" He does wonder, though, what the last test for today is. He isn't really the type who WANTS to cause harm, but anything that can make it stop would be good for him, just as long as it didn't do something like seriously injure or kill him or do something else that has a permanent negative effect. "... What's the last test?" |

"Well, I see you as a nice person, deep inside you want to be nice, so we're going to drive that nice side out of it's deep hole and into the light by simply making you feel bad. This happens when you insult people but to some degree it isn't enough, or you just aren't used to feeling bad about hurting people, so we're going to add a catch..." Jack Was not as fast when he drew his desert eagle. Instead of aiming it at daisuke he aimed it down at his foot. "The gun is loaded with rubber rounds, every time you don't feel bad when you insult me, I'll shoot my foot." Jack said. He then looked at him in the eyes. "Come up with the worst insult possible, then shout it, I don't want you to do this for hatred, but to make that nice side make you feel bad about doing it..." Jack had suffered worse than getting shot by an actual bullet. His left arm was enough to prove it. Along with that nearly being ripped in two by his own creations had toughened him up over the years. |

Naturally, Daisuke doesn't really want to insult the guy -- he was trying to help him -- but he supposes he has to if he's going to finally stop hurting other people. He tries to come up with the worst insult possible -- he was now being challenged to do so, and he was about to rise to the challenge, even if he had to say things he did not mean one bit. "You are absolute garbage; I wish I could go back in time and have your parents have an abortion. You are the only one in the world whose very birth is a mistake; I can't even think of you as human. When you die, I am going to throw a fucking party and frame your obituary so that I can look at it every day when I wake up and smile and whenever I'm feeling down, I can look at it and smile at the idea of you sufferring in hell. In short, you are an absolute waste, and you and all your kind should be wiped from the Earth and sent back to hell where you belong. He did not truly believe or mean a single word that he said, and he naturally felt terrible for saying it; in fact, he had to struggle just to do so ... but he knew it had to be done. He isn't quite sure how insulting the guy would help; he already feels bad about insulting people -- he wants to make himself stop, though, even if it means he has to make himself feel like garbage by shouting insults he really didn't mean -- if Jack was getting him to shout insults at him, he must have some sort of strong resistance against it ... or is giving up his own self-esteem and dignity for the sake of him ... and in a way, that makes him feel even worse about insulting him, knowing he's trying to do something kind. |

Jack smiled upon hearing this. He was feeling bad about insulting people. That would knock him up a little further. "Well, I need some rest, good job, and I'll see you tomorrow" Jack said as he placed the desert eagle back in it's holster. "The insults as I said before, hurt to say, so over time, when you hurt after doing something, you learn how to avoid it or counter it. So in this case, you learn how to avoid saying insults because it hurts." Jack said as he placed the lid ontop of the crate next to the tree. "You get an A for today, now, I need some rest..." |

Daisuke does feel like he made some impact as far as stopping this trend of hurting people. "Thanks! See you tomorrow!" With a bit of practise, he may finally be able to control his temper and stop being a jerk to people ... and then maybe it would also transfer into the actions he doesn't even realise he's doing. "Thank you! Okay ... see you tomorrow!" |
