Rinji was so pleased to have finally entered the realm of the outer forest that she could not have squealed any louder. She let go of Elial, magically having enough energy to move now and clasped her hands together happily. Her purple eyes seemed to sparkle at the sight of the tall trees and beginning to get starry sky. "Come on come on! The faster we get through the easier it will be to go to the waterfall! We'll be there in no time!" She spun around, her legs feeling a lot better from resting and walking now. It was not humanly possible to recover so quickly, but then again, Rinji wasn't a normal human. She stretched, yawning and then walked ahead by herself, completely independent of Elial and Louis. Perhaps the forest air and spirits were aiding her in her recovery! "You know I bet I'll be able to shape-shift again by tomorrow! I'm so excited!" Rinji said and continued ahead, leading them over twigs and brush toward her secret spot. |

Ken'ichi is also very glad to see that Rinji seems to be doing even better than before. He's also excited to finally be in the forest -- they had made it all the way there, and now it was time for some relaxation and fun! "Yeah !! Let's go!" He's pleasantly surprised to see that Rinji is now well enough that she can spin around and walk on her own again. "Yeah -- I mean, it seems like you've pretty much recovered completely already!" Ken'ichi isn't a doctor, of course, but he can tell just by the fact that she seems to be moving around as normal that she seems to have recovered completely -- or at least close to it. |

"I do feel so much better here at home," Rinji replied, smiling back at Ken'ichi. She frowned slightly though, adding, "I don't think I'm completely back to normal yet. I'll probably get tired again eventually, but right now I have so much adrenaline I don't feel a thing! It's you I'm worried about. Are you sure you're going to be alright? Did the Nurse take care of you?" Elial tried to reasure Rinji before Ken'ichi's response, "The Nurse tended to the both of you quite well. I believe Ken'ichi would agree with me." He led Louis with them as they walked through the darkening forest and fireflies began to light the way. There were many magical creatures in the forest and these insects were a type of one. They glowed and remained in the forest no matter what type of weather and liked to buzz around to light the way. Being careful to step over branches and leaves, Rinji glanced down at her feet in between looking up through the gaps in the trees. |

It seemed to Ken'ichi, at least, that she was going to be all right. Of course, he was starting to get a bit better as well; he might be a bit slower during the next few days when he uses his expansion power, but other than that he shouldn't have too much trouble as long as he doesn't work out too much. "Yeah -- she took care of me; I should be fine as long as I take it easy the next few days." He looks around the forest; he hadn't spent a ton of time in the forest other when training, but he had been there a few times -- and it never ceased to be a beautiful place, especially during the evening hours. |

Rinji enjoyed listening to the crickets as they chirped cheerfully next to the cicadas in the trees. The light from the sun had already disappeared and was giving a wide berth for the moon to rise. It took the opportunity to and as they continued along the dirt path, the white rays streamed through the trees to light the way. "It's so peaceful here at night...you kinda get chills sometimes," Rinji remarked, smiling. She liked hearing the breathing of Louis behind her and Elial's presence with Ken'ichi's. "It's strange that you can feel the energy of the darker realm of the forest just over the border though." Her eyes scanned to see if any wildlife was trodding around. Generally wolves and deer roamed around about at this time of night and some small rodents and owls. Rinji sighed, drinking in the cool forest air. |

Ken'ichi also takes a look around at the scenery of the forest at night. Though he had been to the forest a few times, he had never seen what the forest looks like at night, so this was a new experience for him -- and he definitely liked what he was seeing. "Definitely! ... This is the first time I've been in the forest at night -- so this is kinda like a new, pleasant surprise. But yeah ... I kinda feel it too ..." Of course, he too was on guard, as he didn't know what kinds of creatures came out at night -- but the scenery around him was captivating to say the least, and the people he was with added to the pleasant experience. |

Elial made small whistles to guide Louis, but for the most part the horse seemed to know where to go and when. The tall gentleman kept to his courteous silence, smiling pleasantly as the wind blew his long dark ponytail and whisked Rinji's bangs away from her forehead. "We're almost there! But first I have to visit the mother tree," Rinji exclaimed, but then paused. Her purple eyes were filled with excitement, but she seemed to have realized that she was already deciding things without asking. "If it's okay with you guys...I mean. I really don't want to drag you if you don't want to. I can visit her some other time..." |

Ken'ichi did not know what the mother tree was; however, he figures there wouldn't be any harm in it at all. "It's no problem at all! ... What's the mother tree?" He was also glad they were almost there; luckily, the horse seems to know where they're going, so Ken'ichi isn't having any trouble getting there with Rinji and Elial. Rest and relaxation was just around the corner, and Ken'ichi was very much looking forward to it, especially after all that had happened in the past few days. |

"The mother tree?" Rinji asked in response, hooking her hands behind her back as she walked with more ease. Fingers interlaced and cupped at the small of her back, she leaned back and forth, side to side as she continued onward. "She is the mother of all trees in the wood, just like her name! She watches over all the animal creatures in the forest as well as the trees and plants that live here. Her roots reach deep into the earth and she provides nourishment for all through the ground!" The short-haired girl turned on the correct path, one she had taken many times, to the twisting dirt and rock-strewn way. "She's a very nice tree! You'll like her." Smiling, Rinji's eyes glimmered as they found their way with her enhanced night vision. Her meta-power made many of her senses stronger, attributes of many different animals. |

Ken'ichi was definitely okay with it; this seemed pretty intriguing to him. It was definitely okay with him if they stopped by there. "Sounds pretty cool !! I'd like to meet this mother tree as well." It seemed like Rinji was still doing all right, and Ken'ichi was glad about that; he seemed to be doing okay himself, still in a minimal amount of pain considering what had happened. He continues riding on the horse as they continue making their way into the forest, getting closer and closer to their destination. |

"Here here here here here!" Rinji exclaimed, spinning around in circles as she approached the large roots that grew arched along the ground. She gently stepped over them and in a fluid motion, had sent herself up into the branches. Throwing her arms around the trunk, she hugged it tightly and smiled. "I'm back I'm back! How are you, mother tree?" Instantly a soothing wind began to whip through the leaves in the guardian trees. They breathed whispers in the air and left conversation hanging for the mother tree to respond. It only took a moment for the branches of the mother tree to quiver in response and touch Rinji gently on the shoulder. Leaves whipped around Ken'ichi, Louis, and Elial in question. "They're my friends! They're really nice. Let me introduce them!" The short-haired girl hopped down and steadied herself before running up to the three of them. "This is Ken'ichi, and Louis, and Elial!" |

Ken'ichi watches as the conversation between Rinji and the mother tree goes on; it really does seem like the trees were talking to each other; though he could hear no distinct words coming from them, it seemed like they understood each other. Then, leaves started to whip around him as well as Elial and Louis; Ken'ichi is caught a bit off-guard, but it subsides after the mother tree realises that they're her friends. He then introduces himself. "Hi -- I'm Ken'ichi. It's nice to meet you!" He wasn't quite sure if he was able to communicate with the mother tree or if only Rinji could do that, but he figured it was worth a try. |

Whether it was a moan from the wind or tree, Rinji had a hard time discerning. She only smiled, nodding and patting the trunk of the tall tree. "She likes you!" The girl turned to the mother tree again and ran her fingers through the rivets of her trunk. "They saved me, Mother! From danger in the elemental village! I thought I was done for, but we managed to excape." There was another whine from the tree, but this time it seemed harsher, as if scolding the young purple-eyed woman. She winced, ducking her head, her short black/purple whisps covering her face. "I know...I'm sorry. But I was curious!" Louis nickered, growing slightly impatient. He treaded forward a few inches and then back again before making smacking noises with his mouth. Elial smiled politely. "I beg your pardon, Mother tree. Louis wishes to move his legs. He is still recovering and they are a bit stiff. If you'll excuse us..." He patted Louis on the nose and nodded for him to follow as they began to move on in the general direction of the waterfall. "Don't worry! I'll visit again!" Rinji exclaimed, throwing her arm into the air in a wave although she was a mere five feet from the tree before jumping over the roots and following closely behind Louis. |

Ken'ichi watches as Rinji begins talking to the tree. Though he can't really translate or make out any of the words that the tree is saying, it seems like he can understand what's going on just fine. He smiles; they seem to be just like a mother and daughter. As they begin to leave, Ken'ichi also waves good-bye to the mother tree as they begin leaving. "Nice meeting you! See ya later!" They then continue heading towards their destination. |

"We're almost there! Just a bit longer! YOu can hear that, right?" Rinji asked, stopping and perking up her ears almost like Louis was. He swung his head back and forth, snickering and Elial nodded, petting the steed on his nose. "Yes. It is of water. The waterfall must be near," the young gentleman stated, smiling. "Louis is rather thirsty. This will be good for him." "Onward then! It should only be another five minutes, tops," the girl said, pointing ahead. |

Ken'ichi then listens for the sound of the waterfall; after a couple of seconds, he could hear it. They were finally close to the waterfall! Ken'ichi had been looking forward to reaching the waterfall for quite awhile, and they were finally almost there! "Yeah! Rest and relaxation, here we come!" Still riding Louis, Ken'ichi continues heading towards the waterfall with the rest of the group, excited that they were almost at their destination. |
