A lone figure stood on top of the mountain. It was quite chilly up there and the wind was blowing furious. The figure was a man or rather a boy. He was tall standing at 6’ 4 and wore his school uniform with a cloak over it and a scarf on. The wind blew his scarf some. His name was Terel and he stood on the top of the mountain looking at the moon. Its beauty was evident even so far away from his home. It was a sign of beauty, hope, love, and unity for Terel and his people. Terel’s sword was in it’s usually place. Sheathed and covered by his cloak. He stared at the moon and the stars surrounding it with an almost distant look on his face and a small smile. It was night somewhere around 10:30 approaching eleven ’o’clock. Terel was thinking of many things this night. He was thinking of his village of his friends and family so far away. It was in a hidden desert and he remembered it fondly. The people he loved lived there. The people he had grown up with the ones he had graduated training school with. He missed them no doubt. He missed them quiet a bit and yet he was also excited about this new experience. It was beautiful as well. Terel looked at the areas below them. He could see the school and the beautiful forest. The lush meadows the beautiful waterfall and lakes it was breath taking. He learned of these strange customs and he was still learning more. He hadn’t been there long at all. Although the first night he had arrived he had already seen two dead students, heard of a crazed former student on a rampage and seen a badly injured man it had actually been ok. He already had a new friend named Silver. She was quite cool. She respected nature and that earned a lot of respect from him. He closed his eyes smiling thinking of all the people back home. He loved the world and even though he had been kicked out of the village he still loved the people there. He was still excited about the adventures he would have here at Anime High school. It was quiet invigorating. He kept the smile on as he opened his eyes and looked back at the stars again. He could see all of the different constellations and such. The stars were their guardians. They watched over them granting their wishes keeping them safe. They were the ones who governed the sky. His people believed strongly in that. He looked strength at a shining star that was his special guardian. It could be seen all over the world and it had chosen him. It had glow brightly at his birth and he had been protected by it for a very long time. He started speaking in his native tongue. The tongue was quite advanced and strange. It sounded almost like a chant as eh talked to the stars and moon. “ Thuluk Zoon alla zay. Coroana salm kokloma rego seim. Protectiro keko nigfe safeno,” he said in the very formal tongue of his people. He used the formalist words even and those designated for talking to the holy sentient beings of the sky. He had asked for protection to keep him safe. To watch over him and his people. He told the star he thanked it. He told the moon it was the grand governor of the sky. He kept looking at the sky his face having an almost mystical appearance as he said some more words in the formal tongue of his people. He would forever love it and it’s greatness. The moon guided them when they were lost. It helped lead the way. The stars served the moon to keep them all safe. The breeze blew against his face and he stopped speaking taking in the surroundings. Oh how he loved this place. He loved everything about it. He kept silent taking in all of the beauty of the place known as Anime High School. He took in everything. From the forest to the meadows to the lake. From the Genbu dorms to the Byakko dorms. From the Seiryuu dorms to the Suzaku dorms. From the lockers to the lunchroom. From the campus to the very mountain eh stood on. He loved it all. Even Tokyo and Domino had an inner beauty. It was so much different from his homeland in the desert. Yet they all were beautiful. That’s what brought him up there that night to admire the beauty. |

There, on top of Dragoon Mountain, Terel was not alone. Another figure had joined him anonymously although he did not intend to seem like a follower or someone who was spying on him. In fact, the true intention of this particular person was much closely related to that of Terel's. He, too, came out to thank the moon and the stars. He had done so when he was little, living on a planet with no one to talk to other than soldiers and gossiping women of the CIACP. They weren't much to talk to and so from a young age, he found the moon and stars his best companions. Guardians indeed. They had guided him on the rivers that helped him save lives. They brightened his path when all other lights failed. In fact, there was very little that he didn't have to thank them. Besides, they had given him Ellice. But, barely hidden by shadows and watching Terel (unpurposefully), he was quieted as another language sifted through the air. Of course he was mildly interested at this due to his languistic tongue. Still, even with his skill of speaking many languages, he did not understand a word that Terel spoke. It didn't seem at all full of anger, hate, or sorrow. So, his speakings were positive as it was concluded by Roberts himself. All in those few seconds, Roberts admired Terel and even began to smile a bit. His black silk shirt ruffled in the wind and his dark brown eyes hid behind a few of his black bangs. He hadn't brought his sword with him for he thought it was a little disrespectful to the Lady Luna and her little shimmering companions. He gave Lady Luna everything he had (except for a tithe as compensation for her help). Lady Luna was just like a mother to him and he spoke to her more often than he spoke to any of his friends or family. She was basically the only static thing in his life that he could always count on. And even though Lady Luna looked so different here than she did anywhere else in the world or another planet, he could still sense her same kind-hearted spirit and the joyous dance of the shimmering companions that bedazzled him. Earth was a particular place and he preferred it over any other planet that there was. The moon was greater here than he had seen it in most places and he felt so much closer to her. But now, it was from pure curiousity that he sat up and corrected his posture as he always did before talking. Yes, it was a little disrespectful for him to do so, but he begged for her pardon as his voice broke the silence that had prevailed. "What language is that?" He asked in a hushed voice as if he was trying to keep the sacred sacraments of the night and the rituals that were preformed during such times... |

Terel heard someone sit up or straighten themselves Terel couldn’t tell which. He then heard a hushed tone speak to him. It seemed he wasnt the only one who had trekked up the mountain that night to admire the moon and stars. The person seemed to respect them as well for he kept the silence and sacredness of things. Terel didn’t even turn around as his calm voice spoke in an equally hushed tone, “ it is the sacred and formal tongue of my people, the people of the Furino tribe. It is used to address only the most sacred things like the moon and stars. It’s our way to talk to them and to thank them for everything they give us. Not many people outside of the Furino tribe know the language our people don’t get out that often. My name is Terel Rione of the Furino people,” he finished never loosing his calm tone. He turned around slowly looking at the man who had spoken. He didn’t look young so Terel guessed him to be around his age. That meant Terel wouldn’t have to worry about loosing him in his talk about his language. It wasnt that complicated really btu some American children hadn’t understood the point of having a formal and none formal tongue since their language was quite far from his. He looked over the other man. Terel couldn’t really guess his nationality but he guessed that eh was a mix of some kind of nationalities or races. He had heard of other species appearing at this school. If he was a mix Terel was interested to learn about their differences to humanity one day. Not tonight however. Tonight was not a night for simple conversations filled with questions. Tonight was night of calmness and peace. It was a blossom of tranquility. He smiled slightly at the man calm and inner peace evident on his face. “ May I ask your name stranger?” He asked. He kept his tone polite and formal in a way. Not formal as if to a king but formal nonetheless. It was more of a calm type of formal not like a usual introduction. He still had a friendly air about him. That seemed almost a custom for a lot of his people. Some were rash but most were taught the values of inner peace and calm. They learned from an early age how to not loose focus and how to keep tranquil as to perform at their best. It was almost a trademark of his mysterious people. Of course not many people even knew about them in the first place. When the only one you meet are exiles you don’t usually get the full picture. There were of course exiles like Terel who still hoped top one day return but not many. |

((Sorry it took a while for me to reply; I forgot I replied to this thread >_<;; ))
Roberts listened intently; soaking every word into his being. So Terel wasn't all that different from Roberts in their sense of respect. He had never thought of speaking to Lady Luna with a different tongue. However, he used a different dialect when he addressed her because he felt that she deserved the best and should not be spoken to as he spoke to others. Terel's mentioning of tribes was the first time he had heard of a tribal member at the school. Of course there were many different people of many different races who attended AHS. But never did it occur to him how vast the races actually ranged from. Besides, he, himself, was a very odd mixture indeed. A true abomination to two of the races that made up his genetic build. "The Furino people?" Roberts murmured to himself as if he tried to fit the name with something he had studied before. Through all of his thoughts and organized thinking processes, he could not find anything that even slightly resembled what he spoke of. It didn't surprise him much, though. Terel had mentioned how his people did not leave to the outside world often.
Roberts smiled as he nodded in reply. His eyes shone as the wind ruffled his hair. He'd say his name for the sake of Lady Luna, for tonight, he had forgotten to address himself to her. So, in a voice as humble as music and as soft as a cloud, he answered Terel and called to the moon with the power that resided in his name. "The name's Roberts. Nice to meet you Terel. And nice to hear from a tribe that honors Lady Luna just as I do..." |

[Can I join?] It had been a long day, and Luna was heading up the mountain. She had heard about this place, and thought it a good place to stretch and use her wings. Even though they are so small, they still need excercise. Reaching the top, she noticed two other people, and smiled a little. She was glad not to be alone, since she would have been kind of scared, since her journey had already made her scared. At the moment, she was in her human form, holding her stuffed panda tightly. She was panting a little, exhausted from the long walk, and she shivered from the cold slightly. "H-hello." Luna stammered slightly from the cold, and because she was kind of nervous. |
