Cristy: "Tell me again... HOW, in all that is good and holy, did YOU, of all people, get this class?" Neo: "What, does no one believe that I'm qualified enough for this class?" Cristy: "Gee, let me think... NO!!" As Neo and Cristy argued about this, Kiel, Seiji and Miyubi had all arrived, and were uncharacteristically sat in the front row for once. This would never happen in any other class, but since it's Neo who's teaching, which they still couldn't believe, they figured he had to have known what he was doing... somewhat. Sage, on the other hand, probably got the sweetest deal out of anyone. Like Neo said, since he already knew what he was trying to teach, he got to be the official "Teacher's Assistant." While he's going over this subject. Guess it was Neo's way of saying "sorry I put you in the nurses office all that time." Seiji: "Tell me sis... why are you and Cristy having to wear jeans in this class?" Miyubi: "Your guess is as good as mine brother. I'm just hoping this doesn't turn out like the last class I was in." |

Jacob slipped into the class relatively early, the many rows of seats almost entirely empty and devoid of the students that they were made to support. He tossed a few notebooks onto the smooth surface of the desk and sat down in his chosen seat, his body reclining slightly as he prepared to wait for the rest of the students to arrive. This was Jacobs first time attending the special powers class, but he had heard more than a couple rumors about the previous classes. It did not bode well that all of the girls had been told to wear pants for the day, but he was obligated to attend just like everyone else. Jacob was wearing his simple school uniform, his red hair hanging freely around his shoulders. He had cut it a little just recently; the long hair was starting to get in the way of things. His light violet eyes glanced around the classroom with mild interest, picking up on a few of the students that he had seen only in passing. The class was bound to be interesting. |

Another day, another motion, anything to keep her moving. Sitting around never accomplished anything and if her mind was idle then she'd start to think. When she started to think, she remembered, and things just became too real at that point. For the time being, Alex wanted no part of reality what so ever. The only thing that seemed to contradict all of that was her very presence in this classroom, but such was the quandary that was Miss Aeon. Moving in like a phantom, she deposited herself randomly, noting that the room was very empty considering what class this was. Her hands tugged at the sleeves of the white blouse she was wearing, nonchalantly starting to roll them up to her elbows. Monochromatic, that what she was today in her white shirt, black pants, black shoes. At least her hair was pulled back, the ends curling to give her somewhat of a soft effect to her features despite her obviously detached disposition. Leaning over the desk she scanned the room, her eyes dimming, falling from yellow to aqua again. Aside from the mild chatter it was undoubtedly silent. Something about that was disturbing. Then again, it was early, so the class was guaranteed to liven up any time now. All she had to do was sit and wait. |

Akakage skidded through the door of the classroom, arms waving and a "Watch out! Comming through!" as she attempted to stop. Eventually, she skidded into one of the desks, and that in turn brought her to a halt. "I aint late, am I?" It was obvious that Akakage had just woken up; She was still dressed in her black PJ's, with one of her normal T-shirts over the top in an attempt to cover up the cute picture of a kitty on the front of the PJ top, and a pair of black socks, which had made for a very slippery run. Clenched between both hands was a notebook and pen, with random doodles all over it. She placed it down ont he desk she had used as an improvised brake, and sat down. "Good....this class the one I came here for! I'll be danged if I'm gonna miss it!" |

Zoan came walking into the class. It had been forever since he was at a class, because he never saw much need for classes, but special Power classes interested him. They gave him a chance to better himself. Anyways, he he came, walking into class, actually in a class room today, and sat down near the middle of the room, in the school uniform. It wasn't something that he was used to, and seemed a bit "tight" for him. None the less, here he was, ready to learn. It was about time that Zoan started to get back to the books. He's spent enough time lounging about, doing much of nothing.... |

Well, technically, it was Dorrian’s first class, and it couldn’t be a normal subject. noooo, just has to be something irking and unconventional, he thought to himself with a note of irritation and his one, small spring teenage rebellion in him. He was wearing his version of the standard uniform. A lucky buy at Value Village before he had moved, he was wearing a suit which conformed as close as possible to the standards of the school, being composed of a black blazer, pants, and tie with a white shirt. A small pyrite (fool’s gold) tie clip decorated the center of the tie. Truly, his style of dress reflected the rebellion within him. Quite little. Seeing as how it was his first class in a new place, that he knew practically nobody, and that he still wanted to pay as much attention as possible landed him in the center of the third row. His intimidation, however, didn’t show up on his face whatsoever. He knew how to be polite, he knew the general layout; what did he have to fear? Knowing the few people he had met before this class, the answer was, potentially a lot. |

Wynn arrived to class in pants instead of her traditional skirt uniform. It was weird for her as she wasn’t a pants type of gal. Though it was requested that the female students not where the traditional skirt and thus Wynn had to find other accommodation. She decide on a simple Brown blouse with black pants and a sort of beige jacket. Not really battle or combat friendly attire but then again fighting wasn’t really her style anyway so this casual wear would have to do. When she arrived in class she didn’t see the few students that she did know but the class was definitely beginning to fill up. Wynn wondered if the student’s would be learning a new technique or if they would be developing better control over their existing powers. Whatever it was Wynn hope that she would be able to handle it because like others (unknowingly to her) this was her first class too. She thus took a seat Near some other Students and took out a pencil and her binder just in case any note taking was required. |

To Flame, a day where he wasn'tbeing perpetually blown up was a good day. Today wasn't looking as such. It started when he found out everyone had to report to special powers class. It said everyone but still, him, a human with a bunch of expensive toys. Everything not withstanding, he was the likely candidate to be KO'd in the first five minutes. That was why he was carrying his guns. The holsters hung off his belt, like in those old American western movies. He had made sure there was a fresh magazine of ammo in each of them, but he had several more in the pouches on his belt. Flame walked in the class with his usual almost marching gait, although he felt like walking bow-legged like a cowboy. But then they might think he was gay, so he refrained from doing so. So far there was no one he knew, but he was hoping Jack would show up just so he'd at least have an ally. So with nothing better to do he sat down next to a girl who had obviously just woken up, judging from her pajamas. He didn't really know what he was doing here, his only real power was being able to use anything as a weapon; that was no power. |

When Jessica heard that the females had to wear pants, she didn't hesitate to come to the class. Kammy on the other hand was a bit disappointed, she like wearing uniforms. It was something different, not like wearing any old outfit everyday. Even though her outfits were far from old. The twins walked in together both holding a notebook and pen. Jessica found it necessary to wear her dark blue hoodie custom made with her name on the back with a western type front. Her jeans had a few holes in them, she had bought them like that, and white sneakers. Kammy had on a red shirt with a hood on it, a pheonix was on the back in silver. She also wore jeans, and a pair of new red sneakers she had just ordered. They found their way to seats and sat across from each other. Kammy had a child-like smile on her face. Jessica just looked at her, as if she was an alien. "What are you smiling about?" "You know.....I really don't know...I guess you can say Im just happy." |

His form loomed in the doorway for a long moment before deciding to step in and make hismelf know. He felt bare, his normal clothing was gone along with much of the metal that had adored verious parts of his body. His head was done as he sat in one of the chairs nearest to the door for a quick escape once the class was over and he could bolt back to his room to change. Shadow's form was far differn't then the normal items that he had on, his shirt was a white button down tucked into a pair of navy blue pants. His boots were the same but his earrings were, all except one, were removed, face pair from the normal clown paint that had normally held its place on his face. His contacts had been removed and the normal yellow eye color glowed from the sunlight pushing through the windows,"This don't feel right." His Hachet Man necklace the only thing that seemed to look right with him. This would be his first class, and it was going to be a bad one, so he didn't wanna screw up and make a bad rep with the teachers as soon as he arrived at the school. A note pook with sketching pencil pressed between the page, though the only thing that was on each page was normally a scetch of some creature from here or another, a few tattoo ideas that he wanted, and song lyrics. |

This was it; the each passing day brought him one day closer to leaving the school for his personal trip to Rome. This would be the last class he would attend for several weeks or more depending on what happens to him. This would be the last test of his resolve to keep himself under control despite what the other students had been doing to him. Unlike the Math class which he had been ambushed, jumped to the wrong conclusion, and unfortunately got himself hurt more than necessary. A scare and a half had warranted Brian to bring Tlachtga to class this time around. Many students seemed to be nervous before entering the classroom, probably with the school’s death toll rising again no doubt. Crossing the threshold, experience had told him it was good form to scan the room, walking along the wall. Neo was back; probably teaching again as well as his almost typical group of barely recognizable students that was around him last time. A few unknowns took up the front of the classroom. A few of the faces he recalled vaguely from the students he had thought were SAEMH agents out to kill students. Ashamed of what he had thought to do to them he moved on quickly towards the next rows of students. Then there was a face he recognized, Alex now joined the list of students he had once been friends with then they had disappeared. He walked towards her through the isles of desks. Reciting in his head what he should say. The best thought he had was Hi; it’s been forever since you took off, but hey now I’m taking off. He turned down an isle, passing right by a student that he had seen around school. Carrying about as many swords as a fly has eyes. He didn’t know what to say, he ended up turning again an isle behind Alex now, and she looked rather displeased. He’d figure out something proper after class. With that decided he took the desk behind her. Not a word to find out anything, not a word to ask for some explanation on where she had been for however many months it had been. Brian wished the class would start, give him a little bit of distraction from his self impressed quest to tell the people he’d know as friends that he was leaving before he did. |

Akakage yawned, stretching her arms back as far as she possibly could in the hopes of stretching out the tiredness, exposing her belly button in the process but still remaining very tired. She looked over at the boy who had sat down next to her. After a few moments, she decided that he "Dressed very very wierdly" "Uhm, Hi!" She tried her best to sound awake and alert, but ended up sounding sleepy-headed. "I....uhhhm....yeah....what're we learning in this class?" She asked flame, unsure whether he had been here a long time or not. Either way, she figured he would have answers... |

Flame smiled at the girl. He knew how it felt to wake up late, having done so on his first day. Unfortunately she looked like she had been at school for awhile. "Well I'm not sure why I'm here, I'm just human," he answered in a pleasant tone. "But I assume we're here to learn how to control our powers better. Makes no sense to me, since I could turn a piece of paper into a deadly weapon." He snickered before saying, "Oh but where are my manners? My name is Flame, I'm a weapons master. The last of my line I'm afraid..." he finished sadly. Thinking about his family always did that, but quickly put it in the back of his mind. His dad always told him to have a clear mind when faced with a fighting situation. And if this class was as good as its name, there was going to be some fighting. "By the way, whats your name?" |

"Akakage. but most people just call me Aka. And I'm just human too....Actually, scratch that, I was human...erm....no I'm kinda....not human...I dont think..." She thought as quick as her morning mind could of a way to turn this into a happy conversation instead of a morbid one, and quickly said "On the bright side, I got these really cute fluffy ears now! And when I get really really angry..." She grinned, and tried toform her battle aura. it caused a weak glow, but nothing really noticable. "I glow red..." She burst into laughter, almost falling off her chair in the process. "But other than thatty, and a few other more....annoyingly disturbing changes....I dont really have any abilities! So you have the upper hand, with your deadly paper and such!" |

Kisho arrived in the class and headed for the closest empty seat and sat down. He didnt really care where he sat but this class was supposed to or at least to his logic would help in the development of his powers so he was eager to start immediately."you'll never achieve that as long as I'm around!!"Sino interuppted as Kisho tried to put on a straight face to ignore what Sino was saying. Kisho had always been perplexed as to why Sino was able to take the nanites onto another level as to completly changing the makeup of their body and he was un able, everytime he had tried a small nagging pain started from what he was tring to transform and spread to whole body and stopped when he stopped trying. |

Dorrian, feeling the hormonal effects of anxiety, decided to look at the people around him. Instead of doing what most would consider to be moving their head around, he used his more mundane ability to steal glances at those around him. While this power of his was limited in the fact that it only extended his sight to any point within the radius of one meter (or so was his estimate) and it was very brief, it would be enough time. Unlike his other, more martial capability, he could use it almost infinatly. So he closed his eyes and "looked" around where his classmates would be. The images were only "visible" for less then a second at a time, but he assumed that those behind him would find him very conspicuous if his neck was craned around half the time. So, images came at him in glances. Seeing many things from many different perspectives. But he became aware of the world around him, though his eyes were closed. A very, very odd cluster of students. But this school was made for them. A thought went through him to the effect of, if we all here are different then normal people, then are we not normal? But then he decided to throw away the rubbish that his mind had spawned. Save your ephinural pahp for some god-awful speech But still, there were a few standouts from the "norm" anyways. Such as the girl that made herself glow red, twins, and a person that was completly covered in light-red fur. A single thought came to mind. Interesting.... Wether it was for the class or the students, it certainly would be true for either and both of them. Confident he had an awareness of those around him, he opened his eyes, and continued waiting for class to start. |

Special powers class, one of the few classes that truly interested Jack. Last class Jack had been made a fool of but so had the rest of the student body who had tried to get the bells fro Neo. Jack also had been unable to do the second part of class as did the other students. He had then done something along the same liens in a DRAGON training session and had gotten a little better at it. Jack figured they would continue workingman energy manipulation so he was interested to learn more and get better and better at it. Last class Neo had made it apparent eh was no laughing matter and knew his stuff about manipulating energy. Jack had also learned the hard way eh was quite nimble and had literally been stepped on when he had dived. However Jack realized this class would be different. Not only had Jack gotten much better and stronger since then they also weren’t outside this time. However the fact the girls had to wear pants made it seem like the class wasn’t going to be that easy either. In truth Jack was quite excited. He wore a basic school uniform when eh walked into the classroom. People were still gathering so that was a good sign. Jack found a nice seat in the corner of one of the backer rows but not the very back. He was slowly getting closer and closer to the front when he went to classes but he still tended to sit by himself. He didn’t really despise company he was actually slowly starting to like it but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to change that fast. He just sat in his seat waiting for class to start. Meanwhile another boy with blond hair walked into the classroom. He wore the school uniform but Relk still had on his black gloves. He was soon followed by a boy taller then him by about three inches with black hair. Terel had nothing special on except his sword sheathed on his back. Relk also had his sword at his side. Neither of the two had met echoer but they both sat next to one another behind Jack. Relk immediately held out his hand to Terel. “ My names Relk Sitobi,” He was almost instantly responded to by Terel who shook his hand, “ My names Terel Rione nice to meet you Relk.” The two then took their respected seats and waited for class to start. Relk even took out an MP3 player and started listening to it leaning back slightly in his chair. Both Relk and Terel had been looking forward to this class and both were excite. Relk however having just arrived literally a few days ago didn’t have much time for anticipation to build. |

Deep breath, KA thought as he stepped into the classroom, bags and gear clanking noisily. He was in uniform for the most part, though it looked a bit with the red plaid tie and blue labcoat he wore over it. Don't inhale your own BS... Even after thinking about it all weekend, he still had no firm idea what he'd do if the instructor challenged him. He hadn't heard any solid instructions on who could and couldn't attend the class, but "Special Powers" seemed to imply one should actually, well, have powers to speak of. Still, there was something to be said for theory and "peace through understanding"--those excuses got him into the school; perhaps they would get him into the class as well. And if worse came to worst, he had Bat's Eye and the P.A.S.S. with him; though it would be stretching things a bit, he could claim the ultrasonic devices as a "special ability" of sorts. Even so, depending on the teacher's feelings on the subject, and what they would be asked to do, there was an excellent chance that he could come out of this looking incredibly stupid. Ah well. Wouldn't be the first time. KA scanned the classroom, but saw no one he recognized. But he did see lots of metas with very interesting, very obvious external differences. Trying to look inobtrusive, he slid into a seat near the back of the room, fished out his PDA and stylus, and waited for class to begin. |

The artist and the shapeshifter, Nathaniel Drakken and Vincent Crowe, both entered the classroom busy with a small conversation they'd struck up in the hallway after meeting on the way to class. Neither had previously met, but seemed to be getting along rather well. No doubt the fact that both shared a degree of artistic talent (Nathaniel especially) helped things along, and the two were on the way to becoming good friends. It might amuse Shadow that he was the subject of the conversation; Nathaniel discussing the amusing scene in the cafeteria when Shadow tried so hard to escape being beaten bloody by Diana and Seth. Both sat down near the center of the classroom, still engaged in conversation and keeping mostly to themselves. That was of course, because Nathaniel had a tendency to be rather shy, and Vincent was just helping him out by not forcing him to try and talk to any of the girls in the classroom (as amusing as it may have been). Their normal entrance was of course, far different from that of Sirus. He entered the classroom shortly afterward in his usual dark attire, torn and tattered to the point that most people would throw the clothes away in favor of a wardrobe that didn't look like it had been sent through heavy machinery. Aside from the look of utter distaste for the people around him, the next thing that would raise a few brows was the color of his eyes: completely black, similar to that of a shark's. This was a side effect of his own power, one that he was hoping to make stronger after a few sessions of this particular class. And because he had to keep up appearances, he hadn't eaten anyone today, so his face was relatively clean. He took a seat behind Shadow, listening to a discman with a rather dark version of 'They're Coming to Take Me Away' playing . . . . . though, one had to admit, it did suit him. His power drained his sanity little by little with each use as it caused him to drift further and further into the darkness, and he was growing fonder of the power with each use . . . |

It had to be something genetic, Lupis thought as he slumped through the door, that cause alarm clocks to almost completely negate the effect of a full night's sleep. That's how it felt, anyway. HE could get ten hours of sleep a night, but when he woke up to an alarm clock, he felt like a zombie until sometime around lunch. The same wakeup time, or even earlier, without the alarm, and he felt completely normal. At least today was special powers class -- that promised some level of interest. He entered the classroom, the top couple buttons of his uniform-shirt undone and his tie loose, revealing a red T-shirt underneath. Harker was a few paces behind him, or at least Lupis assumed he was. His roommate had been behind him when they left, and there had been a distinct lack of the sounds of kidnapping and the like on the trip over. He sought out a seat near the middle of the room, in his minor stupor failing to see -or at least to take note of- the people he knew. "Whoever invented the alarm clock should die," he said to the universe in general as his head flopped down onto the desk. "That seems like it would mess up the space-time continuum," Harker said, taking the seat on his right. "Something as far back in time as that probably would be, it seems like it'd be a lot worse than a sports almanack, or whatever." "The space-time continuum can look after itself," Lupis said, just a little tersely. He was very definitely not a morning person. |

Finally, the bell rang to signal the beginning of class, and Cristy had to sit in her chair next to Kiel, dejected that she basically lost this arguement. For the classes relief, they would all see that Neo was just wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and that he was completely unarmed this time, so whatever he was going to do didn't involve attempting to take on the entire class, like last time. Speaking of which, only a small handful of the people who were in the class last time showed up for this class, which in his head, kinda sucked. "Ok, morning class... wow, I really gotta get used to saying that. Anyway, for anyone who was around last time, I'm going to get started on showing you how I did what I did at the end of that class. Now, as a fair warning, I'm going to be doing three instructional classes, including today, on how to properly practice and to get your body and mind used to everything I'll be teaching you, and the last one will be a practical test which, and I'm definitely not bragging about this, will probably make at least half of you hate my guts by the end. So, with that being said..." And as soon as he finished, he got up fron his seat and walked over to one of the storage cabnets, and opened one side to reveal a large stack of straw mats piled inside. He figured that this would give stragglers time to get to class before he really began. "...I want everyone to come up and take one mat for themselves, and place it on the floor beside your seat, so we can practice with step one." |

Daisuke had raced to get to the room as he normally does, though this time he got there a bit earlier than usual. After all, if he was going to beat his rival Ken'ichi, he would have to start out on the offensive and carry that through to the finish. He was wearing the school uniform, though his uniform jacket and shirt were both unbuttoned part of the way, showing off his chest, and he had his hair in a ponytail as he normally did. He was ready to beat Ken'ichi in whatever they were going to do that day. He takes out his mat and sits on it as he was told to do so, glaring at Ken'ichi both to try to psych him out and to make sure he wouldn't try anything funny. Unfortunately for Daisuke, Ken'ichi had gotten there before him. He was a bit more cautious; knowing that both Daisuke and Akakage would probably be there, there was not a minute where he was willing to leave his guard down. He too wore the school uniform, leaving the top button on the jacket and shirt unbuttoned, and his hair was tied back in a high ponytail, once again making him resemble a modern-day version of Kenshin. He had his guitar case strapped to his back, containing his guitar and a few spare uniforms; last time his clothes ended up shredded, and with him having to deal with Daisuke and Akakage and with this being a class meant to strengthen special powers, he came prepared. Upon entering the classroom, he looked around cautiously just to make sure neither Daisuke nor Akakage would try to pull a fast one on him upon entering the room. He then takes out his mat and sits in the back just to make sure that no one would try to catch him off-guard. Shintarou was quite a bit more casual about his entrance. Unlike Daisuke and Ken'ichi, he didn't really have a rival to keep him on his toes, so he had room to be a bit more laid-back. He, too, wore his school uniform, though he had his buttoned up all the way, and he had his hair pulled back in a braid. He looks around and sees if there's anyone he knows and then takes out the mat and places it near his seat and sits in seiza position when instructed to do so. |

Akakage grinned sadistically as she noticed Ken'ichi enter the class, and move to the back with a mat. Almost instantly, a plan began to form in her mind...She got up from her seat, and walked over to where the mats were, and plucked one out. She looked over to Ken'ichi, and gave him a lovingly evil smile, before walking in front of the teacher, and clearing her throat. A quick scan across the entire class, before she spoke rather loudly. "Ken'ichi! Squirrel told me he'll meet you after class so that you two can have some private time before heading over to the Drag club in Tokyo for tonights performance!" Akakage grinned, and sat down with the mat beside her chair. 'That should turn him a bright shade of red' She thought to herself, and rubbed the now-healed arm which he had broken several weeks back 'Revenge is a dish best served blushing red' She continued thinking to herself. |

Zoan listened, as the Special Power's class teacher walked over to a cabinet, opening it up, and told the students to walk up, and take a mat, and place it next to the chair. So, he did as said, walking up, and took a mat, when he was able to grab one, and went back to his seat, putting it down on the ground, and sat back down in his chair. He was at the last Special Powers class, although he didn't participate in trying to fight off Neo, he wanted to, but decided against it. And he was interesting in learning how to do that trick that Neo did at the end of class. ((Quick Question, that was the trick with the skillets wasn't it? Denting the bottom, not the top?)) |

...Of course. Sitting in the back of the class had its downside. Sighing to himself, KA got up and fell in step with the others as they went to the front to get their mats, and tried not to stare at this one girl in front of him, the one with the furry ears and red stripes. Until she reached the front, retrived her mat, and yelled a rather, ahem, indelicate message to a boy in the back..
KA caught himself snickering into his fist before he remembered he wasn't supposed to be drawing attention to himself. Attempting to play it off as an ill-timed coughing fit--and failing miserably--he quickly grabbed his mat and scurried back to his desk. |

Jessica quickly looked at Kammy. "What happened last time in this class? Did we miss it? Is this going to be on our record at school, when did we have this class Kammy!?" Kammy looked over at her twin. "Well it seems we have missed that one. I also wonder what made us miss it, oh well I guess we will have to wait to see what he does." Kammy then got up from her seat and walked over to the mats. She quickly grabbed two, since it seemed that Jessica wasn't going to get up. She wondered why Jessica was so lazy at times. She placed one near the two desks. Jessica just smilied. "Your the best Kam." Kammy just smilied to herself as she sat down. *I know.* |

Vincent and Nathaniel, sitting next to one another and in a relatively good mood, decided that only one of them would get the mats. And of course, decided who it would be through an a game of rock-paper-scissors. Nathaniel choosing paper, Vincent opting for rock. So of course, Vincent had to get up and get their mats, and of course the relatively cheerful mood of the class soon hit a speedbump of sorts . . . Sirus had reluctantly taken off his headphones, dropping them neatly into the pocket that held his discman before getting up to get his own mat. Unlike the other students, he wasn't the least bit shy at forcing his way to the front; giving a glare at anyone that looked like they were even starting to object. Vincent being one of them, though also one who wasn't exactly what one would call 'timid' and not hesitating in the slightest about objecting. "Wait your damn turn like everyone else, asshole. No need to go through acting like a jerk-" Vincent snapped, holding out his arm to Sirus' chest as he tried to muscle his way through. "Fuck you, pretty-boy. It's just a stupid mat, so piss off before I scar up that face of yours . . . " Sirus hissed, almost literally as well, the empty black eyes flashing a crimson red for an instant before returning to their original color. His overall complection darkened rapidly as his eyes changed color, then reverted back at the same time his eyes did. Had this been anywhere else but in class, he would have undoubtedly attacked him without hesitation (and almost did), but managed to restrain himself for a change. "So if you don't mind, stop holding up the rest of the good little kiddies and ease up." Vincent grudgingly let him move past to grab a mat, holding himself back from punching him when the kid hit his shoulder as he forced his way back through the line to his desk. He did admit the kid had a point though; he was holding up the rest of the class by standing there. So he quickly grabbed two mats and returned to his seat, handing one over to Nathaniel before setting his own down next to his desk as per the teacher's instructions. "What the hell was that all about?" Nathaniel asked, after of course setting his mat on the floor as well. "Dunno . . . kid's just acting like a prick is all . . . " Vincent answered, returning the glare he was getting from Sirus. Granted, with the absolute lack of color to Sirus' eyes it was somewhat difficult to know exactly who he was looking at, but given the circumstances it wasn't terribly difficult for Vincent to figure it out . . . |

Dorrian merely got up to retrieve a mat form the store that the teacher pointed at. His stride didn’t give away anything, his face still remained emotionless, and he resumed his study of those around him. There was the incessant bickering, the taunting, the claustrophobia nabbing one of them…. Finally he got one, walked back to his seat, and then promptly sat, waiting for the lesson to continue, and then in a slightly humerous musical theme began to sound in his head. The Jaws theme. |

She watched with detached melancholy as one by one students filed in. some more interesting in appearance than others, a select few she even recognized, but all the same they were just warm bodies in a room to here. Brian may have been the only one to truly catch her attention. Bless him but it was hard not to notice his presence, maybe it went back to the interaction they had in the past, but that felt like so long ago, she was sure he’d forgotten her name by now. Funny how things worked, she watched him, and for moment, she thought he would speak to her, but he just took the seat behind. It seemed her assumptions were right. Unfortunately, Alex wasn’t going to accept his silence. Fate wouldn’t make it so, the teacher cut in before she could make a move. Peering forward she craned her neck to make sure she was looking at the right person. That was their teacher? He looked no older than the rest of them, and vaguely familiar. She took a precious few seconds to place him failed horribly. Shrugging it off she tilted her head a bit at the mention of the previous class. She had missed that one, maybe someone could fill her in later. Like everyone else, she got up to retrieve a mat. Frowning slightly at the two troublemakers before realizing one of them she recognized, but again no name. Once they had finally gotten out of the way she retrieved her own mat, and in a spur decision another, but not for herself. Turning around she saw Brian, and just like the ever vigilant person was Alex smiled at him, eyes still aqua. “Brian…” Minimal effort and she tossed the mat at him. If anything she was only trying to get his attention since he was the only one she really knew here. It was just a nice gesture on her part. A hidden message of ‘Hey I haven’t forgotten you.’ Hidden within itself. With people filtering in and out of her life so quickly, it helped her keep a stable footing to see at least one she knew. “…here.” With that, she went back to her desk, laid the mat out and sat down. |

When the two that had been talking about the Lunchroom incident it left a smile on his face, he hadn't got the crap kicked out of him so he found that it was an accomplishment rather then looking like an idiot jumping over and under tables to dodge spikes that could impale everyone else in the class room as sure as they would have hit him. He found that his efforts to not get his ass handed to him was a good thing. His attention went to the others in the class, many people that he had never met before which was going to be ahrd for him if they were going to be doing any group exercises, he had only heard stories of the various classes and he almost felt like making a break for it. This of course wasn't going to be so, he needed to try and meet other people that were in the class and if he had to wait through all this crap then it was going to have to happen wether he liked it or not."Today is going to be a bad day, I can almost smell it." Of course the only thing he was smelling was his own body spray and soap that he had used that morning for his shower and the removal of all his body jewelry and face paint. For once he look like a normal student, noone here was normal and the oens with body fur were just plain out creepy which was cool and made him wanna touch it for soem strange reason. His form stood and moved towards the mats as everyone else had, moving in to grab oen and head back to his seat. He had, of course, stolen another students mat because he was to lazy to stand and wait to get one of the mats that would be open as soon as eveyrone else moved off. He set it down next to his chair as their teacher had instructed and sat down in his desk, feet resting on his mat like it was a doormat,"Wonder how flamable these things are.." |

Now that Flame thought about it, she did kinda look like a fox. It was pretty amazing how many kitsunes and nekos there were at this school. But then, Flame remebered that this was exactly the place for those types. He smiled at his stupidity, but then he was interrupted by the girl Akakage.
Flame was right next to Akakage when she shouted that to some guy in the back of the classroom. Of course, there was always some prankster with some absolutely maddening information. He walked up with her and retrieved a mat, then followed her back to their seats. "Pardon me for asking, Aka, but what the hell is going on here?" he asked. He was new so wasn't in the know, and Flame absolutely hated not being in the know. |

Lupis listened with mild interest as Neo talked a little about what he was planning -- Lupis had no idea what the teacher was talking about regarding "last class", but he was rather intrigued. Albeit through the mental haze of the morning. And this assurance that that they would likely end up hating him. He was at once mildly terrified and interested. If there was one thing that Lupis rarely missed out on, it was the chance to push and improve himself. He could, very likely, have gone on at some length about the psychological factors behind that, or at least gotten someone else to, but it wasn't something that he really thought about. "I'll grab a couple mats," he said to Harker, fighting a yawn as he got up. He retrieved two of the mats from the storage space, ignoring the student yelling across the room about a drag club, or whatever it was. She was pretty obviously trying to mess with someone -- no one could actually be stupid enough to shout something like that across a crowded room. At least not without the look of quasi-evil the girl was wearing. And even if she was, truthfully, merely being naive, he had no reason to care what anyone did in their personal time. He made his way back to his seat, with the slightly awkward bundle of the two mats. He set one on the desk in front of Harker's seat, and spread the other on the floor beside his. He propped his head up on one fist, waiting silently for the actual class to start. |

Alex craned her neck at him; she looked dead at him and seemed to say nothing. Brian felt like he had been fortunate in some sense that she had completely forgotten about him. That of course didn’t make his strong memories fade. He’d turned those memories to stone and locked them away for good reason she had helped him. Though that was long gone now it seemed, for both of them. Brian stood after she passed almost bumping into her leaving form as he sized her up from behind. Was she all that different now, same hair, same style, and same figure. As his eyes roamed her figure he paused swallowing the vague urges. Her hips turned around and he quickly snapped up to her eyes. Light blue, he mused for a moment till a flying mat cut off his view. Brian’s body reacted quickly his back curled, his spin groaned some minor discomfort as he continued to flip catching the mat with his foot slamming it to the ground just ahead of his desk. He was right side up again looked at Alex with that foot firmly planted on the mat. Brian brushed his hair out of his face as he looked at Alex, she had remembered him, and both of them just were just silent. For whatever reason, did he want to burden her with his leaving? Greg had already adamantly asked to come along. How many people would come, should Alex come? “Thank you Alex. For the hand.” She sat by her desk as he barley whispered the comment to her passing form. Brian kicked his mat into place and waited, taking back his seat next to Tlachtga and in front of him Alex’s back. He bowed his head, and just hoped the lesson would continue more exchanges like the one Alex and he just shared might drain his mind completely of all energy to move about. She was just so disabling; everyone up to her he had expected some sort of apology from for abandoning him like that. Yet face to face with Alex, with whatever air she had around her, he didn’t question why she took off. It was important. Brian leaned back into his seat, trying to drift into the squabbling, yelling and disharmony that was the other students in this class, even the fight over mats seemed preferable to the things his mind could do to him right now. Neo should start the class soon he hoped. |

At least they were listening to him, that was a good enough start in Neo's eyes. Even Kiel and the others just shrugged their shoulders and grabbed a mat from the cabnet. When everyone had one, he took one that he had already pulled aside, placed it on the ground and put one foot on it. All the while, he nodded to Sage for him to shut the cabnet door so he could begin. However, he did pull out a few extra mats, just in case. "Ok, the first step is a very important one, as it deals with something that every human and meta-human has in common. Each of you have an internal storage of spiritual energy, ki, chi, whatever you would like to call it. What I'm going to do today is to show you a basic way to channel that for your own usage, and the most basic way that can be done is by showing you all how to walk again.. literally. Now, I want you all to stand up, and place one foot on the mat I asked you to get." It was an odd thing to explain to everyone, he was sure. Hell, he was even getting weird looks from Miyubi as he said that, which was strange concidering she always kept one eye covered. But, slowly the class did as he asked. It took a moment, but once everyone was up on their feet, he continued. "Now, what you have to do for this portion of the class is to pick up the mat, but you can only use one foot to do so. The way you have to do that is to focus your mind on a thought so strongly, that you'll be able to search your body for that energy storage, and push it down to your feet. That way, you'll be able to just raise the leg that's on the mat, and keep it attatched. Now, if you don't push enough down, you won't be able to have it stick, but too much will rip the mat in half. Just concentrate on channeling just enough, and once you're done, alternate to the other leg and do the same thing again. Here, I'll show you." Once he finished speaking, Neo closed his eyes and took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as if he was thinking on something very intently. As he exhaled however, the class would see his leg raising slowly, and the mat not moving even in the slightest from his foot. Kiel and Cristy were a little shocked, but Sage wasn't phased by this. After all, he's been working with this subject for years himself. Once the mat was placed back onto the floor, Neo opened his eyes and moved the same leg once again, this time the mat remained on the floor, and everyone would see that there wasn't any damage to it whatsoever. "So, now that everyone has an idea on what to do, go ahead and give it a try. I'll let you know when to stop so I can go to the second part of the class." |

Wynn watched the teacher demonstrate the first part of the lesson and was already having her doubts about it. Even though the teacher said that she had this so call energy inside of her, which her father had told her about on some occasion or another, she had never had any lessons on focusing and channeling it. With her power being always passive, she never really had to learn this, basically her power just clicked on, on it’s own for the most part. “This is not going to be easy” thought Wynn as she place one foot on the mat. “What thought to use, no more to the point, what energy? How am I suppose to know when I feel this so called energy?” wondered Wynn as she began thinking about random things and stepping her foot up and down to see if it was adhering or not. “I wonder if they have a beginners course or even a remedial one for late starters.” she thought as she continued with her stepping procedure. |

"Pardon me for asking, Aka, but what the hell is going on here?" She heard flame ask her. She wasn't quite sure what to tell him, so she went with the truth. "Oh, nothing, just tormenting the guy who broke my arm, the big meanie..." Akakage blinked in amazement as she watched the teacher, not quite sure if there was some kind of trick being used or whether he really was using his energy to do what he said he was. But if he could do it, she was sure as hell she could too! She placed one foot on the mat, and began concentrating on her "Energy" whichthe teacher had spoken about. Aka's usual glow of red appeared, and slowly moved down to her one foot. She lifted the foot, and up came themat. "WOOHOO! FIRST TRY!" Akakage yelled triumphantly. She stopped concentrating, but the mat didn't fall. "Uhm.....okay.....slight problem....." She tried to wedge it off her foot, but to no avail. She tried hitting it off, but only managed to hurt her foot, and finally she tried shaking it off, which only ended up with her getting unbalanced and falling onto her rear end with a loud "YOW!" And finally, the mat came off. |

Running into the class she knew she was horrifically late, her wings jostled behind her back as she walked to the fround where Neo was standing. Bowing to him she smiled slightly, she had been held up on the way here butdecided against giving him the whole story and settled for... "im sorry im late.." Bowing again Kess picked up a mat and walked to an open seat neer the frount of the class. She had caught the end of his instructions and knew a little about Chi energy anyway from her family. Closeing her eyes Kess consentrated on the energy she knew to be inside of herand slowly attempted to push.. for want of a better word it toward her feet.. |

Dorrian began to obey the instructions. Yes, he indeed did feel the little feeling that it was, around his stomach. Placing his foot on the mat, he tried a few times to his infinite frustration. Finally, he decided to concentrate a bit more. He, once again, tried to push it down. Then, it did not feel as the little foreign ache it was. What it actually was made him astounded. And afraid. Every time he had been in a fight, every time he had been in a physical conflict, this little feeling had surfaced. Only much more powerful. It was his fuel, it was his speed, it was his strength. Now, though, it wasn’t blossomed in the full-fledged form such as when he fought. He had fought few times, but each and every time that feeling was magnified a few times. The fact that now he discovered it, now that he could feel his control over it, almost made him afraid. Afraid of the power that he could seemingly unleash. He realized he had been lifting the mat with his foot. Then, he released his harness of his chi, as it was called, and the mat promptly hit the floor. He stood in silence for a minute before continuing to do so, only now less exasperated. Every time he did so, he rebelled against his thoughts. But every time, as he warped his chi to where he wanted it, he rationalized his thoughts with, Unless you learn, there will be those around you with a greater power, and some will not hesitate to use it against you. Do you want to be someone’s lackey? So, he continued a few more times until he thought he was quite good enough at it. |

He stood and began to try and do what their teacher had told them, putting his foot down on the mat and concentraiting on it. He lifted his foot and nothing happened, so he tried again, and again, and again."This is harder then it looks." His eyes moved around the room, most of the students working on it as he ahd some getting it down and others not moving the mat at all. "Heh.. lets see here.." A piece of gum was popped into his mouth,"Big Red, mmm." He chewed it for a few moments till it was rubbery and sticky, placing it on the bottom of his show. He sit his foot down on the mat and lifted up, the mat came up as he was hoping it would." Hah I did it." This of course was a cheating manuever but he had no idea on what the hell you were suppoded to do with this energy he was talking about. The gum began to stretch and the mat fell after a moment, putting his foot down to try and covered the mess that was now on the underside of his mat. He never understood how you were supposed to focus energy into anything like that, the only show he remembered junk like this was from some show about people that could fly and turned into big monkeys, or someting like that. "How are we supposed to do this exactly?" Asking for help on the matter. |

Flame just nodded as the teacher began speaking. He watched intently as Neo raised the mat up with one foot, then put it back down without it moving at all. Flame was amazed, but it didn't seem any harder than the meditation exercises he had done as a child. So taking a deep breath, Flame closed his eyes and concentrated on this so-called "Ki." After about a minute of this he started to lift his foot and amazingly the mat was stuck to it. It wobbled a bit, but it held fast like an old wad of gum. Now he understood why Neo had wanted the girls to wear pants. Flame continued raising his leg up slowly, and almost had it at a 90 degree angle when Aka interrupted his thoughts. "YOW!" she yelled as she fell on the floor. It broke Flame's concentration, causing him to drop his mat. He shot her a disapproving look before saying, "You messed me up." But despite that he held out his hand to help her up, a look of exasperation on his face. |
