What the hell was Dorrian doing in Tokyo? Why the hell did he have money? And why was he thinking this was odd?

First question was answered by this. Dorrian was shopping. He had in mind what he wanted and needed to buy, and where to get it. He wanted to expand his clothing repitoure. Then, expand his PC with the purchase of Half-Life 2. Now he had the internet at the school, so he could now log onto Steam. ((OOC; If anybody doesn't really know what Steam is, PM me)).

The second question; he had money because his mother sent him some. She doesn't need to do that, he thought. I'm lucky I'm even here. She needs to spend it on herself, not me. I'll have to put that in my letter to her

Third, he thought this was odd because he usually didn't shop around, he usually knew where to go. But, unlike the Window Shoppers, he knew what he was getting.

He walked, looking for some cheap clothing retailer. Many wouldn't think that was what he was looking for, though. His suit was still shiny from the dance, and the only thing that gave any clue that he wasn't a partrician was that he had on his messenger bag. His glasses rang with polish; if he let them become scratched, he may not have a pair to wear.

He found a map of the mall and gazed at it. He looked for a retailer, hopefully there would be one he recognized. He didn't want to go through trying to find it by hand. The Metro had tired him out enough, and he learned his lesson there. Don't mistake 18 for 17.... he thought to himself.
