You must be accepted to role-play here. To become accepted place an application in the Student Enrollment forum after you have read all the rules. Make sure that you read ALL the rules in the rules forum and follow them. Skipping through them won't do you any good.
For the title of your application it should be the name of your character, and NOTHING BUT the name of your character.
Listen to everything the person checking over your application tells you to do. This person is responsible for checking to see if you will fit in our community, as well as responsible for your final acceptance into the RPG and moving your profile on to the Student Files.
If your character is unaccepted do not repost it. Unaccepted means it wasn't fixable. If you were allowed to repost it then what would be the point of it being unaccepted? Reposting a profile includes changing some minor detail(s) and keeping everything else the same.
We will not accept profiles that we believe to be inappropriate for the board. These include, but are not limited to: Druggies, sex freaks, pimps, drug dealers, women abusers, and rapists.
If you are told that you need to fix something, do not put what you need to fix in the next post. Make sure you EDIT your first post and fix what needs to be fixed. After you do that you can make another post in the thread to tell the person checking it over that you fixed it.
Do not ever post in anyone else’s profile. You may only post in your own.
Each section of a profile must contain at least one well-defined paragraph.
Those who are first joining will get their profiles checked first as a general courtesy. If you have a character here already you can wait a bit.
If you are having a second character accepted, when it is accepted, edit it into your current profile in the Student Files.

When you apply, please use the template found in this topic. If you wish to add more to your profile, that's fine. But remember that you HAVE to add what your reviewer tells you to add.
To make a character of a race that isn't a meta-human, you must look in the proper topic and post up a profile for this new custom race. Other members already lock some down, and to use those, you must get in touch with the member who has locked whichever race you desire to have a character of. Please note that you need 100 posts and must have been here for a full month in order to make your own custom race.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot be a character from a show, book, movie, game, etc. That means you cannot be the exact copy of a character. However, you may use a character's name and/or picture. If we find that you stole a character from an existing show/movie/game/etc, you will be unaccepted. No matter how good your profile is. Sections should also have more than a single sentence/line to them. Try and put some effort into these profiles, they're not extremely hard!

[b]Special Powers/Weapons:[/b] [All characters start off very weak. Characters are allowed no more than two powers to start with. Before you make your powers, be sure to check the list of Locked Powers to avoid any conflicts. When making your powers, be sure to take all aspects of your specific powers into account. Specifics, such as numbers and comparisons, are extremely encouraged and oftentimes necessary.
For example, if your character can create a barrier, be sure to include details such as: Size, Shape, Durability, How long the barrier lasts, if other people can be inside the barrier, how taxing the barrier is on the user, what the barrier is weak against, etc. Remember, specific numbers and comparisons are almost crucial.
Bear in mind that any weapon that cannot be readily purchased at a store does in fact take a power slot.
Please note that the sole exception is for St. Lily Characters. They are allowed to start with three powers and can be a bit stronger than normal.]

CUSTOM RACE TEMPLATE: Please remember, you need 100 posts and to have been with this forum for a month to create a custom race. You will also need to supply the names of three users aside from yourself who plan on making characters of that race. If or when the race is accepted, the three users have two weeks to at LEAST post their characters in the Student Enrollment area to get them approved. If the users do not do so within the two weeks without explanation, the race will be unaccepted.
Note that to have a character of an existing custom race you simply have to fufill the lock owner's requirements and have it approved by staff.
Having a single character that's a race all to themselves is fine and does NOT require using this template at all. You may simply apply normally like you would any character.

(Limit to four choices and under as a custom race you must select minor powers as these are the powers that make this race a race. These minor powers count for one of the two major powers your allowed to select during character creation.)

[b]Race Religion/Docterim:[/b] now this wont apply to every race, but for those that it does apply for why not put a little information in here? If your race believes it was created by a big bug then put it here!
[b]Race History:[/b] Now this I think is a big one, we as humans have had over 2000 years as a race and have a hell of allot of history, there could easily be other races related who have lived for as long and have a different history. In here I’d suggest noting down the more important points of a race's history. Say battles/fights/plagues anything like that, day to day stuff needn’t be added.
