((OOC: Still upset about the awesome post I lost. >.< But I'll try to make this one good. BWAH. Can't even remember how I started it...)) Elial had found himself once again buried in a heaping pile of dusty old books, arranged around him in neat stacks. Most of them were journals and diaries, bound in leather and contained feathered, creased, and stained ribbons for markers inside. In another pile sat a few newer books, though equally dusty, and he had flipped through those more for historical reference. The other pile Elial did not even touch, for fear that the books would disintegrate, they were so old. He sighed as he flipped a page to a black leather-bound journal and absentmindedly tucked a few strands of long black bangs behind his ear that had fallen out of his now loose ponytail. He had spent the better part of the day in the dusty Supernatural Hall, finding its library quite extensive and better suited toward his search than the regular school library. Here in his little quiet corner only one student had passed by, and she had grimaced at him disapprovingly, for she worked as a student volunteer in the hall and would have to reshelve all the books he had removed. She did not realize that Elial had been planning to replace all the books himself. Quickly, the woman passed on, and no one had reached him for hours. The young Englishman sighed once again, his crimson eyes straining in the ever dimming light. He was tired of searching and combing through all the books. It was tedious, but he was glad that the delicious dusty smell was not bothering him. "Eli...what are you gazing at?" Perhaps it was the Supernatural Hall that was playing tricks on him, or perhaps the more time he spent in here, the freer Eli's spirit became, for the counterpart had formed almost a ghostly appearance beside him, standing regally and staring out of the window. "The sun, Elial." The young dark-haired man blinked tiredly, closing the journal with a small snap and setting it down before looking up at his friend. Eli's blonde hair seemed to glow like a halo about him. In all his glory, the young English swordsman appeared to have come straight from a storybook, or heaven. His long white coat shone brightly, angelically, and the medals and buttons, though dull, beat in the filtered light of the stained glass window. His sword at his side with his hand atop the pommel, Eli turned to his host and offered a knowing smile. "I am sorry that I must subject you to this." Elial shook his head, offering his own sad smile. Although his counterpart was dressed in his complete ensemble, Elial had only worn his black tank top and a pair of comfortable jeans. Although the light from the stained glass was no light at all, the tattoo on his arm was quite visible, especially as he stood to move beside his friend. "Did you love someone once before, Eli? What was she like?" "Intellectual...with a fiery spirit...everything I could have hoped for..." His wavering form turned to the dark-haired young man. "I wish you could find the same, my friend..." "Fear not," Elial replied, shaking the notion off. He laughed a little and looked out at the setting sun. Soon the entire corner would be engulfed in darkness and they would light the lamps. "I put your matters before my own, for they are my legacy now. Perhaps love will find its way to me, but if not, then I do not worry. Things come in time. I have hope for your freedom and peace yet." |

What was it about a good book, or rather, a huge library full of them, that attracted Kysse so? Her drive for knowledge pulled her there. Earlier that day she had read something about a magic called Charter magic. It was something a charter mage learned, though she wasn’t sure what marked just anyone as one. Then again, ever since coming to this school she was very unaware of her own abilities, even now. After all, she’s just a human. She too had been in the library for a long time. Piles of charter marked books and so on and so forth littered the desk around her. It was easy for her to take in knowledge, even when skimming through pages. But that didn’t make the evening too fun. As she was returning several books to their places she went wandering around. Perhaps she would find a light hearted book to read. Who was to say that fiction wasn’t real after all? After coming to this school Kysse would believe anything. Sad truth. The shelves were all rather high and she was curious as to how she would reach the top. There were people around the school that stood much taller than her, and she wasn’t even that short! There was one of those swivel ladders that seemed just too dangerous for a klutz like her. Still, seeing it reminded her of the Disney Cartoon, “Beauty and the Beast”. She couldn’t help but want to try. Bad choices came with their consequences. As Kysse pulled herself up the ladder she reached the top bookshelf. Luckily she did have something up there. No, it wasn’t a light hearted fictional book; it was a book on Charter Mages. As she glared at it for a moment she was distracted by a voice, a familiar one. Elial was there too! Kysse hadn’t seen him in a long time it seemed. Watching people from a distance was rude but that wasn’t why Kysse stopped. While she was starring blankly out over the library from a higher view she began pulling the heavy book and the two on either sides of it down. This made her loose her balance. As she flailed around to catch herself the ladder started to wobble. Terrifying? She sure thought so as she fell from it. Luckily she gripped onto the shelf while her feet still stood on the ladder. Her face reflected how angry she was about falling. There wouldn’t be a way to recover from this. Her feet slid off and dangled beneath her as the ladder shot off to her left. With that she held herself there for the time being. Some how her feet found the shelf beneath her and she began climbing down. But honestly, she isn’t that lucky. As she descended she slid once more and fell toward the floor. Why hadn’t anyone come to her rescue?! The sound of struggles and the crash of the ladder should have sent people her way. She didn’t even realize she had been yelling. As she fell, books followed after her, all dive bombing the floor. |

((OOC: CUTE NEW BANNER! :D)) Elial had been so absorbed with Eli that he simply hadn't noticed the rumble of books or the shrieks until it was too late to respond at all. The young man turned the corner and found Kysse lying on the floor in a pile of books most unlike his own. He smiled down at her and offered her a hand up first before picking up the books around her. She had really taken down the whole shelf. "Nice of you to drop in on us," Elial chuckled as Elii's ephemeral form bowed slightly from behind his host. "What were you doing up there? And with books on Charter Magic no less?" He smiled at the thought and remembered a book that his mother used to read him about a woman named Sabriel and her journey to find her father. He had always loved that book. There were some lovely memories ingrained within his mind of those readings. As Elial turned the books around in his palms, he looked up at her with a warm smile. "It is good to see you. I feel as though I have not spoken with you in a long time. How are things?" At first, Elial's heart gave a start from her sudden appearance, but with Eli there, he felt a lot more comfortable, especially around Kysse. He sighed inwardly and his companion glided to his side. "Yes, it is very good to see you once again, Kysse," Eli voiced. |

((ooc:Thanks XD)) Kysse wasn’t amused one bit by Elial’s pun. She felt as though she was swimming in a pile of books and when she saw his hand stuck out in her direction she just stared at it. Being the hard headed girl she was, she refused his hand, after all, some how he always managed to see her fall and never managed to catch her. None the less he didn’t owe her help up so she didn’t take it. Rolling onto her knees she pulled herself up to a kneeling position. While here she picked up about twelve books and balanced them one on the other. It was weird how he seemed to be so friendly with her after they hadn’t seen each other in… it seemed like a month. To her knowledge last time they saw each other was on Valentine’s Day. Memories of that day ran through her mind. Elial seemed very distant now that she thought about it. He always had so much on his mind though. In reality she didn’t think of him as a super fun guy. The truth isn’t always so nice. It’s just that he was always thinking about himself it seemed, and not only that but he was very interested in Eli. If Kysse were younger and still living with her first set of parents, she would think nothing of this. But after having a real father, it was something she thought about a lot. When he asked her about the charter books she stared at them in thought. “It’s nothing.” The conversation was something she didn’t really want to bring up at the moment. Not only that but she didn’t think he generally cared. It was odd how pessimistic she felt when thinking about him. As she stood carefully she shoved the books back onto the shelf. While she picked up several books he kept talking and she listened. “I’m doing well, school will be out for summer break soon and I’m going to be going on a trip with my father.” Small talk was the easiest. She staked books on top of each other and when she turned back to see Elial, for the first time, she saw Eli too. This was a big shock to her and it allowed her to actually drop her books back onto the floor. It was weird that Eli took on a ghostly appearance. Kysse really didn’t like it. What was with her and getting scared around Elial so much? She cupped her hand and spoke in Elial’s direction, as if to avoid Eli hearing. “Since when does he do that?” For once Kysse’s body was pretty much all covered. She was wearing a floor length chiffon dress that resembled something that Rose in Titanic would have worn. The differences were few but the color scheme was of her two favorite colors, brown and pink. The top was bunched and had a tie right beneath her breasts. The dress was a soft pink while the tie and sleeves were brown. All together it was just very soft and flowy, obviously an evening dress. Her hair was in loose ringlet curls and hung behind her. Her feet weren’t seen but they were covered in a matching pair of brown flats. |

Elial was not that offended when Kysse did not take his hand. He knew that she was both stubborn and proud. Arguably, Elial also knew that she was completely capable of getting up herself, it was just in his nature to offer a hand. He took it back and allowed her some space to stand up so that she would not end up running into him. To him, their meeting was a lovely surprise. He hadn't seen her for such a long time, though it seemed to have gone quite quickly in his search for answers. The young Englishman had hoped to spend more time with her, but after Valentine's Day, the prospects seemed a bit dismal. In fact, the young man was, despite the fact that he had told Eli the opposite, quite disappointed in his advancement in the field of gaining trust in a companion, and was extremely worried about ending up alone. Although the two of them had not spent much time together, however, Elial recognized almost immediately the tone in her voice that signalled to him that they were not on extremely good terms. Perhaps she hadn't liked his joke at all. He hadn't meant to hurt her feelings. Plus, Elial didn't believe that Kysse was that sensitive to that kind of stuff. Well, if she didn't want to share information with him, then that was her business. He wouldn't pry. "A trip with your father? That sounds quite nice," Elial began, hoping that he would be able to sustain conversation. He really wanted to get to know Kysse better, but maybe now they had fallen into some sort of ravine that they would never get out of. A great rocky start. "Where are you going, might I ask?" At the comment shortly after in regards to Eli, the young English gentlemen took a glance at his friend, who merely stared with a furrowed brow, and replied, "My educated guess is that the powers of this sanctuary, that is, the Supernatural Hall, allow him to assume a sort of ethereal figure. He remains, outside of this hall, inside of me, more or less. Perhaps his powers are growing stronger, perhaps not. We do not really know, but it does make conversation a lot simpler and less confusing when people walk by." Elial laughed a little, more to himself than to her, and in an embarrassed manner, "Because, of course, people do not just think that I am just talking to myself..." The young man diverted his attention away from him worries and placed a clean and true smile on his face, for he was happy to see his friend, even if she did seem a bit distant. Could they be considered friends? They had gone through a lot together already, or at least, he believed so. Elial hated the awkwardness between them. "I...do not mean to be rude at all, but I was just wondering..." Elial said, a bit softly, more measured than anything, "...I mean...I may be dense, but...I...sorry, but, did I do something wrong?" He looked to her with his deep crimson eyes and gave her a very telling face of his distress, of course, subconsciously. "I mean, if I did, I just want to know, so I could do better, and apologize." |

“Um yeah. We’re going to the Caribbean’s or Bahamas or something. I don’t know who to bring though because he said I could bring one or two friends.” Oddly enough she didn’t know what to say. For the moment she was lost for words and actions so she just listened to him. She had placed all the books back where they went as far as she could reach. There was no way she was going to get back on that ladder. Not only that but after she fell off it, it shot off in the opposite direction so it was no where near her. She grabbed at his arm to pull herself away from the rest of the books. It wasn’t the same to her because he didn’t offer his arm to her aid. This school made her stubborn. What a bad excuse. It was odd that she was being so thoughtfully distant from him mentally. It was a weird feeling; like they had been away for such a long time and neither seemed to bother to find each other. School went on and things changed so maybe they were just changing. That happened all the time anyway. The conversation changed. “So if he took over your body now would you be a …ghost of yourself?” Her inquisition was cut short as Elial began to spew out multiple apologies. What was Kysse supposed to say? It was ok with her that he was very interested in things in his life, some people were like that. After all when they met and he saved her from Dave… as far as she remembers he was there to help her, not originally there because of her, but he went out of his way for her, not for his own gain, unless it was. Way did she have to think so much? “Um… no? I mean… you didn’t do anything it could just be me. I mean, of course it’s me, I’m thinking just … about things and I don’t know.” She quickly stopped herself from rambling. Maybe she should just take off and leave him to his studies and what have you. |

"That is exciting! I hope you have an enjoyable time. I mean, I have not ever been there before, but I hear so many good things about it, not only from the television, but from some of my friends back home. We do not travel often, so whenever someone leaves, it is a big celebration. They often bring back many photos and a bit of a tan," Elial laughed, trying desperately to lighten the mood, the tension, anything! He tried not to think much of the fact that Kysse used his arm to help pull herself up. He did not want to make her angry by lowering it and truly helping hoist her to a standing position, nor did he want to just stand there. Within the split-second of decision-making time, Elial had settled for just letting his skin tingle, not just from her touch, but from almost the burn of being incapable to help. Supposing that life moved on, Elial tried to just think of the moment they were having now, and being content with just seeing her there as she was, but he couldn't help but revert to prior thoughts and experiences, when they were together, how they had reacted to one another, how they felt. He knew that it did seem a long time ago, but the young man just didn't feel the distance. Elial could still feel her sitting next to him, eating, watching a movie. It played over and over again, and it made him smile, at least, on the inside. "I see," Elial replied, offering a empathetic smile. "I know I have had a lot of things on my mind as well. I just get so caught up in it, I do not really feel conscious of my surroundings. I guess...there is something inside of me that feels like I am on a timeline. I have a deadline to meet, and if I do not figure things out by then, terrible things will happen. I do not know how to explain it...just that...terrible terrible feeling...it makes me ill." The young Englishman had hoped not to burden her with his thoughts and his position, but somehow he had managed it again and was kicking himself inside. Meanwhile, Eli just blinked at the two of them, still a bit shocked by Kysse's reaction to him. "I am sorry to have disturbed you, Kysse. If it will please you, I will go," Eli suggested, wavering a bit behind Elial. His long coat appeared as a faded mosaic, painted by the light through the stained glass window. |

“I have no idea who I’ll take, but I’m sure no matter who, it should be an enjoyable trip.” Hopefully she wouldn’t be putting her foot in her mouth. All of a sudden the conversation turned serious much to Kysse’s distaste. His sudden apology sent her back a bit. He could sense her feelings, meaning he knew better. Either it was flattering or insulting that he thought he knew so much about her. Then she avoided eye contact by looking down at her book. It was then she realized she was no longer holding any of the books on the charter at all. Instead she was holding a book on magical beings. Her face looked a little frustrated until Eli spoke up. “Why would I…” She stepped forward toward Eli, now in between the two of them. “Don’t be silly, the both of you!” A sudden, “Shhh!” came from somewhere Kysse couldn’t see and she blushed a little. This was a place she felt oddly used to. She felt like she was just between Elial and his other half. Was that all she’d be? It was then she remembered his apology and she figured she should get out of her seemingly depressed state of mind. She really didn’t mean to get that way it was just the way she was. Figures. “I just…,” would she say it? No, of course not, how could she? “It’s nothing.” |

Now Elial was generally a patient person, but he felt like with Kysse, since he did consider her a friend, that he wasn't exactly being treated fairly. He understood that they weren't the best of friends, but wasn't Kysse ignoring him a bit more than usual and not explaining anything to him? He liked being in the know, so to speak, and just wanted to make sure that she was okay to begin with anyway. "Kysse, if there is something you wish to say, even just a little, you should tell me. What is the matter? I feel like I am in between you and your expression of thoughts. If you are worried that you will offend me or hurt my feelings, I would really much rather you tell me so that I at least know if I have done something wrong to you, or anything at all," Elial stated, getting all worked up. "I just want to be your friend, and if you can tell me now that that is really something that you do not want, then I just want to know so then I can stop hoping or dreaming." Eli just sort of shuffled a bit away, not wanting to get in Elial's path, lest he unleash a fiery flood of emotions on him as well. He turned to look at Kysse. "Perhaps, my friend, we should not press her. If it is personal, it is not for us to say." Elial sighed softly, some of his long dark hairs slipping over his shoulders as he did and settling against his collarbone. "Kysse...please talk to me." |

His plea could do nothing but penetrate her stubborn and hardheaded ways. She melted at the way his eyes seemed to look through her. How pathetic, her mind screamed at her, but she couldn’t keep from feeling that he cared about her in such a positive way. He was proving her previous thoughts wrong, and that too frustrated her thoughts. She took a step toward him so that they were closer. It was like her body was moving by itself though. With a steady hand she moved his hair back to rest behind his shoulder and sort of paused there. “You don’t need to worry about me,” of course her stubborn side still showed through. “I’m just concerned about myself, maybe I’m taking it out on you, I know I shouldn’t, but I do things I shouldn’t sometimes. It’s just, we both are searching for ourselves and I don’t know if I can find myself with your help. I’m not trying to be rude it’s just, we can’t both be searching for ourselves while trying to be close to each other… right?” Everything was a bit rushed together, a sign that she was rambling. Still her voice was soft and trying to be understanding towards both of them. Through saying that to him she was saying it to herself as well. She backed away a bit letting her hand drop. Her eyes which were moments ago starring into his had fallen to the ground and both hands held the strange unfamiliar book in an unsteady grip. “It’s just that, you can’t help me progress to become who I may need to be. You’re lost in your own problems, while I am lost in everything else.” This small speech was more thought out and slow, as if she wasn’t sure the words were coming out right. Her eyes still spaced out a bit and a frown darkened her almost always happy expression. Her body was a bit tense at that moment but she didn’t notice, her mind was racing and she didn’t know why she was allowing him to know things about her, she wasn’t the type to throw her history around or her information. She didn’t tell him that much though, she could have, but that stubborn part of her still wouldn’t let people know her past. |

Elial calmed more, and listened to her patiently as she spoke. She did deserve his attention, and that was something that he was always willing to give to those who he respected. The young Englishman couldn't help staring into her eyes as she spoke, or at least trying, as she seemed to duck away every once in a while. It was strange because Elial hadn't thought that she was this shy before. Perhaps it wasn't shyness though. Perhaps it was just something else...the need to conceal? She kept talking about all the things she had learned and what she needed to learn. Perhaps he did know more about herself now, or perhaps the process of learning is what made her appear more shy. "I know that I do not need to worry about you," he started, smiling. "You are a very independent person, and I know that you can take care of yourself, but that is not to say that I do not wish to worry about you. I choose to because you are a friend. You helped me find parts of myself. A great part of myself. Eli has never been so close to me." Sighing and looking at the blonde-haired spirit, who only nodded for him to continue, Elial kept his pause short. "I guess...I understand what you mean. Perhaps we cannot find ourselves and who we are, or who we want to be by being around one another so much, or becoming close, as you say, but the truth is..." He turned from looking past Eli to Kysse again, who seemed to be gazing at the floor. Elial took a small step toward her, not much, and maybe not even enough to be noticeable, but enough for him, and he said, "....the truth is, I think that I do need you. I think you could help me progress to become who I may need to be, who I am destined to be. I've learned more from you in one night than spending weeks in this library sifting through dusty old books. I have travelled back to Europe and here again and cannot figure anything out, and I understand what you are saying, that you need space and that you need to search yourself, that we are both absorbed. I understand and I respect that, but I just wanted to let you know...that I think there is something more. Something more between us that maybe has not been spoken, that may be in the future, that could be discovered. I strongly feel that there is, not only a connection now, but an ancient one. Something...buzzes when I feel your presence. I just...."get that feeling" as they say...not just here in this hall, but every instance..." Elial seemed to pause for breath before taking a good pause and looking at her. "I just...thought you ought to know. That's all..." |

What was he trying to say exactly? As he spoke she turned to watch his face. He was speaking so honestly with her. Her heart beat loud and her hand fumbled to pull the top of her dress upward. These little fidgets came unnoticed to her. Her bright blue eyes watched him still as he continued unraveling his feelings. What was it all supposed to mean? Was it some declaration of love or something? Space wasn’t what she needed she just needed understanding and with him it was more like she was just aiding him. Aiding him wasn’t helping her though. As he said, “that’s all,” she pretty much fell into him hugging him tightly. The book that she had been holding fell to the ground. Then, of course at that moment, a librarian popped out of no where to pick up Kysse’s mess and pretty much kick her out. “You!” Kysse looked up shocked and jumped. The librarian looked extremely angry, then again who wouldn’t with that pile of books. Still, it wasn’t like Kysse did it on purpose! Suddenly Kysse ducked behind Elial, as if that would help. While she hid she thought about what Elial had been saying. He thought so highly of her, but why? Not many people around here seemed to like humans all too well, especially lately. Then again she didn’t know where she came from or what she really was. That didn’t matter, as far as anyone, as well as herself, knew she was human, plain, useless and pathetic. That was a thought she often felt while watching the others around the school perform their tricks and skills as she sat back and did nothing. That wasn’t that problem at the moment of course, the librarian had advanced and Kysse wasn’t a very good hider and would most likely be pushed out of the library. This wasn’t a horrible thing; she didn’t really need to be here. Well, whatever she was doing could wait. Then his words repeated in her mind as she hid. Need was becoming an odd word to her. Need made her question want. Her thoughts were in loops and she didn’t know what to do about that. This was just another way to point out her misunderstandings and uselessness. |

"I am sorry, Erin," Elial said, attempting to hide Kysse even though the woman had already seen her. She gave him a frown and a scolding look with her wrinkled face and old eyes that reminded a lot like his butler back home. Yes, he always made Elial feel terrible because he never really wanted to disappoint him, but that was because he respected him. This Englishman did respect the old librarian as well. "I will clean up the books." He thought that perhaps Kysse would be offended had he taken the blame for the accident, so he merely suggested a solution to the elderly woman. She hawked at him and shook a finger. "Elial! You best stay on my good side. You know I only let you in here so that you can study, and even at late hours! You've always been very kind and neat and I hope that you don't change that now!" "Yes, ma'am," Elial replied, smiling. "I do appreciate it very much." As soon as Erin turned on her heels and marched slowly away, bending with a few cracks of her back to pick up some books here and there, Elial sighed and turned to Kysse. "Thank you...for the hug that is." Eli had, during this, disappeared behind a bookshelf so that Erin would not have a fright. Many were not yet accustomed to his being, though he figured that she would not have a faint, the spirit wanted to be sure. "Elial, perhaps we ought to clean up and move. The night is drawing on and you have not slept for quite some time," Eli stated in an almost pleading voice. "I appreciate the time and effort you put into this, but you cannot go days without sleeping and only training and researching." Elial sighed, "Perhaps you are right..." Turning to Kysse, the young man offered a meek smile. "Would you like to get something to eat? I have not had a meal for some time...and I am rather hungry." |

Kysse listened to the small conversation between the librarian and Elial, she was smart to hide behind him because he knew the woman. Kysse stayed silent in her thinking state. While Elial spoke to the woman Kysse watched Eli. The two young men were different in ways she didn’t understand. The reasons for them sharing one body were beyond her imagination, there were things that her mind wouldn’t allow her to know. Then Elial thanked her for the hug. It was nothing… was it? “You’re welcome.” Her voice came out soft and unemotional. From Eli her eyes had dropped again. Why was she at such a loss for thoughts? What was it that Elial wanted out of her? Why was she still so confused about all of this? He asked her to dinner, who was she to refuse his requests? Still silent she nodded. What was with her being so melodramatic? When the woman left, she returned to the pile of books. Ugh! What a mess, only one large enough for her to make. She sighed and picked up several but how would she shelve them? She wasn’t that short but still! “You really don’t have to help with this… I mean, it was my fault and all.” |

In actuality, Elial had much appreciated the hug. In some ways it had brought him out of the reverie he had been in for some time, not really listening to reason at all and finding himself in a darker hole. He felt himself in comparison to...what was that man...Bruce Wayne? Albeit without all the gadgets and the Gotham city. Elial almost laughed at himself as he bent down to help. He had begun to read more of the comics of America and was finding them very amusing. "I know that I do not have to help you with this, but I wish to. I cannot idly stand by and just watch you pick up all these books," the young Englishman laughed. He managed to grab at least ten in his arms and went about re-shelving them to their proper places. He had most of this area of the library memorized and knew some of the books even by just the spines, so finding the places where they went was simple. He double-checked by the call numbers and then walked down to grab the ladder that had slid away. Truth be told, Elial was quite pleased that Kysse had agreed to go find something to eat with him. No sooner had he thought it, both his stomach growled in recognition and Eli swept up to him. "Elial...perhaps you should take a day or two to recooperate, perhaps...get to know Kysse better if that's what you think you want.." Glancing back at the girl and then to Eli before dragging the rolling ladder along, the dark-haired man replied in a softer voice, "It doesn't matter what I want, Eli. It is a matter of what she wants. I do not wish to pressure her into anything. That would not be true to either of us! It is fine...Eli...I will be careful..." Bringing the ladder back to a good place so that either Kysse or he himself could climb it and finish stacking the books, Elial smiled at her. "So where would you like to go for food? I am hungry for just about anything." |

When Elial brought the ladder back she just stared at it. A nervous laugh escaped her and her hands went up in distinct refusal. She began to speak loudly but half way through she quieted herself. It took a second to remember she wasn’t exactly liked in the library. Well… Elial wasn’t but it was really her fault. “I will not get on that again, I don’t know what you saw, but that’s the reason I fell!” He asked her where she wanted to go and she merely shrugged. It was a surprise to her that she had talked so much just now. Especially considering her mind was still racing. Kysse had this situation and others on her mind. There was Crimson and Rizel and many other people she had met while starting school here. She was in a reverie, of sorts, and unsure of what she was to think of Elial. His question didn’t wake her immediately but eventually she came to answer. “I don’t mind, it can just be a small café, something light.” Quaint places had gotten her attention most lately. Perhaps that was just her state of mind considering her choice of clothing for the day. She often wore dresses but they were usually short and flirty not long and elegant. Not that her dress was over the top, it was just a casual gentle piece of material. The chiffon was flow-y and soft and gave off a sense of calmness. None the less, a calm quiet place would do. Perhaps a place that sold a nice cup of coffee or tea and sandwiches and cakes. That was al Kysse really wanted at the moment. ((Ugh! after conversion I lost my colors D: )) |

((OOC: >.< This is so weird. I don't know if I like it at all)) As Elial listened to Kysse's description, his face lit up slowly, warming up to the idea. "I know the perfect place!" he exclaimed proudly, at last not even minding the library rules, which, of course made them pay. The librarian popped her head back around the corner and shook her finger at the young Englishman. "Out out out, Elial! You have been here too long, and you are beginning to neglect the rules of this Hall! Return when you've some sense again! And no taking any of these books!" With her old, wrinkled hands she snatched the tomes from Elial's hands and started to waddle away. Elial gave a lopsided grin to Kysse, spirits almost seeming to have very swiftly lifted as soon as the books left his arms. Perhaps he really did need a break from it all. There was a lot to do. "Come on," Elial suggested, nodding toward the exit. "We can travel by cab or I can call my friend." But remembering quickly that Kysse was not all too fond of his horse companion, the young man replied, "Then again, you probably do not wish to travel by horse...we could take a cab or a subway." As they exitted the hall, Eli offered a final smile, and disappeared, the magic forcing him back into Elial's body. Exhaling loudly, Elial closed his eyes, feeling the weight again in his chest. It was a strange sensation, but he knew now what it felt like not to have Eli completely with him. It was a horrible sensation. |

It was a little odd how Kysse was fearless when it came to riding a motorcycle but wouldn’t step foot next to a horse. Normally girls loved horses, and it wasn’t like Kysse didn’t like animals, it was just that it was big and horses had minds of their own. Motorcycles on the other hand didn’t. Either way they were both quick transportation yet she opted for the less smelly and less hairy ride. “Could the train get us there? Either way, I heard there’s lots to see from the train.” She followed after the two and watched as, when they left, Eli had granted her a rather cute smile before returning to Elial’s body. There were such differences between the two. Kysse liked the fact that it was like she had two friends rather than just one, like a two in one bottle of conditioner. She decided to keep that thought to herself, it could seem rude, or funny, she didn’t want to be rude though. Of course she left the library empty handed, it Elial couldn’t take anything, as punishment, she definitely wasn’t going to take anything. She still held all the blame for the mess though she didn’t admit to it to the librarian. “Um… thank you,” she couldn’t remember if she’d said it or not before. “I should have taken the blame.” Her head hung a little as she timidly walked a bit behind him. With her head down she could also watch her footing. This prevented her from tripping but she didn’t like watching the ground, there fore she tripped too often. What was she to do? But in that moment she still felt bad for making her fault his. ((OOC: Yeah! It is a lot different... and bigger.)) |

((OOC: Yeahhhhhhhhh. I put a suggestion in the box. It is super big. The only thing I'm truly truly diggin' so far is the way the "preview" is diff)) Elial did not mind taking the blame, but knew that Kysse probably found it either annoying, unfair, or...nice? He couldn't tell many things with her. It was interesting the way that they worked. Eli was quite content nestled back inside Elial, not having to sustain his image much and really control his movement. For the moment, he seemed to slide to the back of the young Englishman's consciousness and slept. "The train is just fine," Elial smiled, his crimson eyes gentle and warm. He should've remembered that Kysse was not to found of his fuzzy friend. "There is a lot to see on the train...actually...sometimes I like just buying a ticket for the train and riding all the way. I usually take just a notebook or a sketchbook and record what I see or hear...sometimes people or nature...it is rather soothing." When the young woman brought up the blame, Elial shook his head. He wanted to be careful of how he approached it. "Think nothing of it. It was just a silly slip. I do it all the time...I just never get caught," he laughed gently. "I am just sorry...I was not there in time to catch you from your fall." Stretching his arms out forward a bit and rolling his neck, the young man exhaled swiftly and turned to see her walking with her head down. "But there is something that you could do if you wanted to pay me back for it," he joked, tipping his head to a side and giving her a lopsided grin. He stopped a moment and faced her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "If we are so called calling it even, then I do have a request. If you think that, perhaps, you are clumsy, then you should be defiant like you are with most everything else, or at least a bit more headstrong, and trust in yourself that you will not fail!" Elial brought a hand cupped under her chin and set it up. "Hold your chin up high and proud when you walk! And look straight ahead. It is smart when you are in uneven footing to watch your step, but here in the hallway, I doubt there will be rocks or slippery patches that you cannot observe ahead of you. What do you say? Wish to try it?" He knew he was being bold, but maybe that was the only way he could be with Kysse. |

Kysse was surprised to be stopped as her chin was lifted by Elial. Her heart beat suddenly increased. His words didn’t fit his actions but she listened to him, she always listened to him. As she watched him she bit her bottom lip. She didn’t understand men, this was another reason why, it was just a bunch of confusion. Her eyes looked down but her face stayed up facing him. Even with his hand under her chin she nodded timidly. ((finished here. ^_^ )) |
