Anthro, not Furry you goons

Chapter 1: Sleep was something that was becoming difficult to find. The constant worries of her lost pet rabbit had been eating away at her slowly but surely. The first few days upon her return to the normal world had been relaxing and confusing all at once but at least she could sleep peacefully. Sleeping now had become a nightmare. Re-living the not so enjoyable parts or the rescue mission or just horrid nightmares. Which had been another thing that had been distracting her for a while also. Everyone was gone, not just her pet rabbit. Hinakura remembered lying on her bed in her dorm and she felt so awake. But now everything as black which seemed to continue on forever. She blinked and quickly jumped up to her paws completely confused. She could have sworn she was just in her dorm a second ago. She glanced in slight confusion but then remembered it was only the same dream. It had happened countless times before. Even with the often encounters with this style of dream it always seemed to catch her by surprise every time. However they always ended the same way. She died every time, then she would wake up. It was always a different death however. Sometimes it was suicide, someone from the past killed her, or a monster she had ran into during the rescue mission would come and take her away. It was normally a monster that appeared however. Well at least she wasn’t dying in real life. She always wondered what would happen if she didn’t die in the dream. With a sigh she took a couple of steps forward, she had a good idea of where she was going because of her often visits here even if she couldn’t see more than a single rabbit hop in front of her. She looked at her front paws which as the only thing she was able to see in this darkness. She was in her natural appearance of an anthro. “Weird… I was sure I was a Hutch rabbit when I was awake…” She said quietly to herself. She placed her from paws together to change back to her more preferred appearance but nothing happened. This was strange, but no matter. She could live with the appearance for a bit. It wouldn’t kill her and she would wake up sooner or later anyways. She knew this was a dream. She was only waiting to see how her death would be played out this time. She lifted her right paw in front of her and placed her paw on a wood door. She felt around until she felt the handle. She didn’t open it through. Her ears picked up as she heard something. Footsteps or maybe they were paw steps. She looked back but saw nothing. “H-hello? Anyone there?” She called someone hesitant. This was the first time she heard something in this Dark Void. Hopefully it was a friendly face, normally the nightmare didn’t start until she opened the door. |

CHAPTER 1 One second, the blonde papermaster had been being crowned the best among her fellow paper manipulators… the next, she was lost in the middle of this thick darkness. It was so thick Patty felt like she could cut thru it with her cutting paper. She wondered how she might have ended here in the first place… and remembered psychics were also a part of this circus… Probably one of them was responsible for taking her out of her dream? Later, she promised herself, she would do some ‘paperwork’ to find responsibles for this. Right now she needed to find a way out. It had been odd for her at first, not realizing she was actually dreaming. Without being able to see beyond her nose, she had scouted around her body to see if she was wearing anything at all. Who knew what kind of pervert would have brought her here, in the first place, so it was good to check. Pj’s were ok, at the least. After a minute or so, she noticed something that was out of place… something soft and fluffy above her head… something that tickled when scratched. “You… you can’t be serious…” As she confirmed she could sway about the cutest pair of bunny ears, sprouting from atop her head, she saw her hands slowly growing yellow fur. “NO! No! What tHE…?!” Patty’s skin is the only thing she truly takes care of… so you can imagine her shock as fur started growing and just stopped once it reached about an inch's lngth. Then shock flashed on her face. “Oh please, no, please, no…”, she muttered. Taking her furry hands to her face, she scouted every inch of it. Well, no fur had grown there and no muzzle had formed… yet. That relieved her, somewhat. Ok, let’s sum this all up. Patty was now a blond haired yellow furred rabbit person… So this HAD to be a dream, right. Well, that was just damn fine… Plopping to the ground, Patty felt restless… this was just too damn much. What would you do on her place? Desperate crying sounded like a GREAT option at the moment, as well as some good ol’ angry ranting. Before she could actually do anything, her brand-new bunny ears extended to its fullest. Something had hoped in the distance. Maybe… she was not alone? For some reason, that thought didn’t seem to comfort her, at all. She was a playboy playmate… in the dark. Her ears turned slightly as another hop echoed in the nothingness. Someone was definitely here… and was moving. All sorts of the things happened to pass thru her mind for the next seconds, but this was a dream… and supposedly dreams can’t hurt you. Well, with that in mind, she carefully walked in the general direction of the hoping. After a while it stopped, and Patricia was oh so happy to hear a girlish voice from the same direction the sound had come. The girl was calling out for someone, so she replied. “I’m here… I’m here…” Her pace picked up a bit, trying to reach whoever it was. She couldn’t see a damn thing in the whole darkness… but she sure could hear. Following the girl’s breathing, Patricia made her way to the other girl until she could see her clearly… and her jaw dropped open. “Oh, my god... You got it waaaaaaaaaay worst than I did…” Handling out a rude comment as a first impression is oh-so-typically Patricia’s. But it was the truth. She felt bad already just having fur and ears… but the other girl looked a lot like an actual rabbit. |

Merlin was sure that she had fallen asleep in her dorm bed with the itchy sheets and hard pillows, in her white pajamas with the musical notes all over them. Now she was in what she could only describe as a dark void. The darkness pressed in all around her. She was still wearing her PJ’s, though her scarf was back around her neck where it belonged. She had absolutely no idea where she was, though she sensed that she wasn’t alone. I wasn’t able to do that awake, she noted surprisingly to herself. She could actually sense the presence of two other people. One, she could tell, was part rabbit. The other was fully human. There was something missing, though. Something that she was never without. Realization dawned on her. Where’s my music? she thought, panic overwhelming her. Where’s my instrument? Suddenly, without noise or fuss, a piano came into being only feet away from her. Merlin sighed with relief, and tried to walk over to the instrument. However, gravity was not cooperative. Merlin had to half swim, half waltz over to the keyboard. She sat down on the bench, placed her fingers on the keys, and began to play. She played the first thing that came to mind – a slow piece from The Lord of the Rings movie. The music floated through the darkness. Merlin was lost within the music. If anything strange happened, she’d have no idea about it. |

She was sure that she had fallen asleep in her dorm room, wrapped up in her sheets against the cold and with Parisa asleep on a pillow beside her, keeping watch over her. Now, for some reason, she found herself in this realm of darkness. Everywhere around her was darkness. She couldn't see anything, except strangely for her own body. Other than that, she saw nothing in the dark. "Where am I?" Her voice echoed out in the darkness, a hint of confusion riding with the words. Hanabi took a tentative step forward, surprised to find solid ground beneath her feet. She had been wondering for a moment if she would end up falling into the darkness below her. She continued to walk, her golden hair falling over her shoulders and onto her pale pink pajamas as her deep blue eyes scanned the void around her. "Serafeim? Parisa?" she called, hoping that her summons would come to aid her. They did not. She reached her hand up to her neck, her eyes widening when she realized that the necklace that turned into her summoning staff was not with her. Panic began flooding through her and she began to run, calling out her summons' names with increasing urgency. Ever since she was seven years old she had never taken off the necklace carrying her staff. Without it, she felt vulnerable, like she was running around naked. "They won't come." The voice behind her came so suddenly that Hanabi nearly fell over. She steadied herself, turning around to face the person that had spoken. He appeared to be around eleven years old, and had deep brown hair and blue eyes. Somehow, he seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't recall where she had seen him before. "What do you mean they won't come?!?" she asked, "Who are you?" The boy turned away from her, looking off into the distance with a faraway look in his eye. He closed his eyes, a smile coming onto his face as if he was listening to something only he could hear. Finally, after what seemed like forever, he opened his eyes, turning towards her. "Kirei na..." he said, "The music..." "Music?" asked Hanabi in slight confusion. And then she heard it, the sound of someone playing a piano echoing through the darkness. Relief flooded through her body. If there was music, then there had to be someone playing it. Someone playing it meant that she could find a way to get out of here. She quickly grabbed the boy by the wrist, making her way hurriedly towards the music. "Hey, what--?!?" began the boy. "Don't worry," said Hanabi, "I'll get us out of here. Just follow onee-chan, okay?" "Onee-chan?" asked the boy, "That's kinda weird since--," The boy suddenly stopped talking as he and Hanabi arrived at the source of the music. A girl was sitting there, playing the piano. Hanabi quickly let go of the boy, moving over to her. "Hey!" called Hanabi, waving at her, "Hey! Do you know how to get out of here?!?" |

Hinakura let out a sigh of relief, it was another rabbit and probably a figment of her imagination here. Surely this wasn’t a real person. However she rarely saw another rabbit anthro in her dreams. Then again this was the first time she had ran into a ‘living person’ in the dark room for her dreams. She blinked and noticed something else, this girl was wearing PJ’s. She looked to down to see what she was wearing and realized she was in PJ’s also. at least I fit in… She nodded. “Worst? What do you mean? It’s fur normal for you?” She questioned, unless pink was just an awful fur color to have. She personally disliked the pick color but she never felt like changing it. Her ears twitched slightly as she took her paw off the door handle. Why was there music all of a sudden? It was always quiet, creep, and really really dark here. Something wasn’t right, it was always quiet here. What was going on? “Do you hear that…? She said some that hesitant. Maybe she was going crazy. She blinked and placed her paw on the door handle again. Maybe a change in scenery would help out a bit. Turning the handle the door opened. A bright light flooded the room. Hinakura quickly covered here eyes with her front paws. A second passed and she moved her paws to see what this dream brought. The area was no longer a empty black void. Now the AHS Courtyard replaced everything. “Not the best place to be running around in PJ’s” She muttered to herself and glanced over to the other rabbit. Her ears flickered as, the music continued she glanced over to the other girl playing the piano. When would there be a piano in the courtyard? “Hay kid! What you doing?” and in your PJ’s also… She added to herself. She waved her front paws hoping to get her attention. Even in the outfits didn’t fir the occasion, everything felt so normal. However she was sure everyone here was just a figment of her imagination, even so she wanted to enjoy the moment. The thought is dieing didn’t come to mind. She noticed that there was someone else “Is this a slumber party or something…” She muttered to herself. She glanced over to the other rabbit, forgetting that this was a dream for a moment “What’s your name? I’m Hinakura.” |

"Worst? What do you mean? It’s fur normal for you?” "Normal?!... YOU call THIS normal?!" Patricia's reaction was rather exagerated, waving her furry arms and all. What up with her? Is this girl trully a rabbit person? Staring fixedly at the girl, Patricia remained silent for a couple of seconds, trying to pull herself together. Something was missing here... For starters, this bunny girl. She looked used to this place. She was holding a door by the nob... ?... What in the world was a door doing in the middle of nothing in the first place. And then there was this music... that somehow sounded familiar. “Do you hear that…?" It took Patty a couple of seconds to catch the soft music, her bunny ears were not still well tunned. "Yeah... I do... but..." Patricia was interrupted and had to cover her eyes for a couple of seconds as Hinakura opened the door. The emptyness had been replaced with all sort of things, familiar things. Wind blew, making her unnatural bunny ears swing about. They were standing in the middle of the courtyard, in her pjs. What would people say if they saw her dressed like this here? Well, that sure was nothing to worry about, because... “Hay kid! What you doing?” "There's only three other people... and a piano?", she muttered to herself. That couldn't be possible. If this was the school's courtyard, it should have been crowded with people... and not a single piano in sight. Due to the brilliance from the scenary change, she couldn't quite well tell who the other people were. “What’s your name? I’m Hinakura.” It took Patty a couple of seconds to reply, even if the place seemed familiar, she felt lost. "I'm Patricia A. Win... No... I'm Patricia..." She was not the type to add nice things after and introduction. Never have, never will. Thought she did thought the bunny girl was a nice bunny. "Do you know what is this place? For some reason... This place doesn't seem strange to you..." |

Playing the piano. What does it look like I’m doing? Merlin though irritably, then stopped playing abruptly in surprise. She had meant to say the words, not think them, and yet, somehow, she knew that the others had heard them. Wondering if this was perhaps a side effect of the dream, Merlin opened her mouth and tried to speak. Nothing came out. Curious now, she attempted to lift the piano with her mind. Nothing happened. Of course it wouldn’t. Even in a dream things like that never happened to her. No, she got stuck with only being able to communicate telepathically without any of the other cool parts to being telekinetic. So annoying. Merlin attention was diverted by where they were. She could have sworn that when she first got here she was in a dark void, empty of anything and everything, and yet here they all were, standing the empty courtyard at AHS. Now that’s weird, Merlin thought, projecting the thoughts to everyone. |
