The Rotundo Complex was always quiet in the mornings. Especially when the sun hadn't even risen. It never saw much use despite it's 24-hour availability. However That could be contributed to the fact that it was situated in a place that had mostly teenagers. Most would rather brood or drink and party before consciously going to the gym and getting in shape. Furthermore it was, by unspoken consensus, the domain of the jocks and the jerks. Basically many of the people whose lives were dominated by the desire to be stronger, or to crush people's faces in, hung out there.

Of course that was only the case for the actual Gym side. The pool and springs and other aquatic areas were basically open to anyone, and as summer was creeping up on people, the pool was seeing a fair bit of use, though most people still patronized the lake, or went to Tokyo's beach.

Still, the sun had not yet risen, thus the majority of the student body was still in their beds. Only the sleepy gym-staff was on hand, and perhaps here and there an insomniac student doing a workout routine or, more likely, heading to the springs. Most people headed to the springs first thing in the morning, which was why the gym staff was a bit bewildered to see the two students walking into the gym.

Well, to be precise, only one walked. The other rolled on his gleaming powder-coated steel chariot of a wheelchair. Physically they bore no resemblance to eachother, but they were brothers-in-arms. One, a failed science experiment out to make the world better and show the emos the RIGHT way to be a hero. The other: A kind, if quiet, enforcer of justice from a distant star, here on earth to turn back any tides of super-sized evil that might threaten this grimy little planet on which we live. Of course one might wonder: if they're such awesome heroes, why are they in a gym of all places? Well, just because you have the will to enforce justice, doesn't mean you don't need to shed a few pounds, or bulk up a bit. and that was just what this duo was here to do, as evidenced by the workout clothes on their backs and the duffel bags they carried.

"So where do you wanna start?" Nemo asked his associate, taking the latter's gym bag and setting the two bags in two lockers.

"Anywhere for upper-body is fine by me." Takumi replied. "I'm not in the mood for pain today, so I don't think I'll be doing anything with legs, except maybe a few laps in the pool."

"Understandable." Nemo said, smiling a bit and walking alongside Takumi as they began working out. They didn't do seperate things, but preferred, it seemed, to stick together, talking about this or that. The reason of course was simple and clear to anyone who'd ever gone to a gym by themselves: Unless you enjoyed personal time or are a fitness fanatic, working out alone is extremely boring...

It wasn't the favorite season of the year for a particular girl who had managed to wake her groggy feeling self up. It had been a long while since Alleta had seen the early morning, especially for the season. Despite the depression of seeing the snow gone and everything coming to life with the warmth of summer, Alleta was cheeriy with the delight of the cooler temperature of dawn. It was indeed a good morning for a girl who had woken up at an unthinkable hour for a college student. As like Nemo and Takumi, Alleta was ready to pump some iron to keep herself in shape.

If two male students had been a shocker to the gym staff, then seeing a female student merging into the scene was probably another surprise for them this morning. Alleta walked in with gym clothing already on, tennie shoes tied, and hair tied back ready to get down to work. After a few moments of pause of talking with one of the gym staff members, Alleta found herself nearby the two gentlemen that had arrived before her.

The reasoning of being there would probably be quite different from what the two, Nemo and Takumi, were here for. She had noticed them, but figured they were two guys training to become better with their powers and to become stronger. Alleta knew that guys liked to work out to become stronger and huge muscles. Apparently from her perspective it was too look more manlier. Alleta laughed inside her head thinking about this as she headed to start at the closest machine to her. Weren't men already looking like men? Isn't that what makes her a women and them a man. It was probably something she'd never figure out, but an awesome way to bring down a guy's ego.

Alleta had been thinking so hard that she hadn't notcied that the leg press she was at had way too much weight for her. Her hands gripped the handle bars at her side and her back pressed against the seat as she strained to put every muscle into the weighted part of the machine. After realizing how idiotic she was and her face appearing red, she found the right weight setting and proceeded to workout her legs. Alleta finished a set and sat in a more comfortable position to relax before the next set. It had been a long time since she had gone to the gym, but she hadn't broken the habit of day dreaming in rests. Alleta started to think about how Fen was doing back at the room. She had told him he couldn't come, becuase he was a cat. After a while of coaxing, Fen calmed down and understood he had to stay in the room until her return. Then her mind drifted off into her most desired of places. The white fur of Fen had reminded her of the snow on a mountain back at home. Maybe that was the reason her parents had given her Fen as a farewell gift. It was definately a good choice and has so far, helped her through her journey of life.

Nemo and Takumi took partial notice of the girl not very far away. Takumi looked at Nemo questioningly. No words were exchanged, but Nemo knew essentially what Takumi was asking, and he shook his head. Neither of them knew her, or if they did, they didn't remember her. Horrible as it sounded, it was simply a fact. With a student body in the five-digit range, you simply saw alot of faces. Met alot of people once, and then not again. Only consistent contact kept people's names and faces fresh in eachother's minds. Sure, the duo had their group of mutual friends....the introvert and band-geek, Wataru Kurenai, Kenzaki Shiro, the Card-shark, the quiet physics-student, Nogami Ryutarou, and the always stylish, if arrogant, college-student Tendou Souji. But beyond this circle, Takumi and Nemo knew few people, though to be fair they were always looking to know more people...

"I think I'm done with this for awhile." Takumi said, stretching. He wasn't breathing heavy just yet, but it was clear that that state was close at hand. "I'm gonna get some Susano-o practice in."

"I figured you'd want to do that." Nemo nodded, getting up from the machine he was working at and helping Takumi back into his wheelchair. "I suppose I'm the punching bag again?"

"You would suppose right." Takumi chuckled. "Who else am I going to get to help me? A Power Man would either tear me apart or I'd tear it apart on accident."

The two walked past Alleta, laying eyes on her, but figuring that she was busy, thus they didn't linger to talk. Though they did settle a short distance away in the clearing, the machines lining the walls, leaving the middle open for sparring, gym classes, or other activities that required large amounts of space. Walking into a corner, Nemo grabbed a few pads of the style that one used for martial-arts training as Takumi dug in the bag that was ever-present on the back of his chair....

Outside the gym’s building laid the olympic sized pool, meant for general studentship to use at their whim. The still hiding sun had not warmed the pool, so one would never actually think someone would be daring enough to swim given the water was cold. Well, think again. Male personnel from the gym took their time admiring a young female swimming with the perfection of a sea goddess. The girl had arrived early, and almost woke up the employees. It was a common thing for her to swim, being it the best exercise there was for skin elasticity, according to a magazine she had read way sometime ago. The British Library Agency had this underground water reservoir, which she had used as pool. The only problem was that the water there had no thermostat. After a couple of agonizingly cold months, the papermaster had grown used to such temperature and eventually became tolerant to it.

She wore a dark blue olympic bathing suit, with two white strips that reached from under the armpits, and reached her thighs. Her long blonde hair was nicely done under a waterproof net. How she managed to pull such a task, being her hair so long? Well, that’s a female secret, mind you. As both young men and the latter coming gal had arrived, she had been doing some under surface swimming, caressing the pool’s floor with her graceful figure.

Patricia emerged on the far edge, her head the only thing visible at the moment and followed the trio with her bluish orbs. That’s when she first noticed the somewhat large building she was heading into. She hadn’t truly noticed the area containing all the workout equipment at all, not even passing by the place. Her anxiety to finally get herself in the pool had been too big, having planned on doing so for over a week now. Well, now that she was done, she needed to find a place to change her wear. Usually gyms have a locker room, and might as well use that, she thought.

Getting herself out of the pool and getting her aluminum case from one of the nearby seats, Patricia headed into the building. She took her time inspecting the place, standing by the entrance. It was very well equipped; she could judge it good since she liked keeping herself in shape. Maybe she could dedicate some time to training as well? Well, first she needed to get out of the wet swimming suit and warm up a little. To her left, she had seen two boys, and the girl she had seen walk into the place was to her right. The girl was around her age and seemed built enough to be practicing some sort of sport. She had not truly met people her age yet, besides those in class who were either morons and/or idiots. It would be good to know someone she didn't need to treat as a little sibling, as most of her actual friends were.

The papermaster undressed herself once she had walked into the locker room, but she decided to keep the waterproof net. The water’s bleach might damage her proudly cared hair, somehow. As her body reached a stable temperature, she jumped under one of the showers to rinse off the remaining pool’s bleach treated water from her slender frame.

Alleta rubbed her forehead staring into the distance thinking. She wasn’t your average typical girl. Of course though, she didn’t think she stood out any more out of the girls that populated AHS. They all had the same common reason for being here. They were gifted with abilities and so they came to a school that would help them out. Alleta was hoping that she’d be able to find herself a little more being here. She already figured what her life has been set to do, but finding out the unordinary that follows each and everyone of the students of AHS was something not known to her. If she had never have found that power all so long ago at her local ski resort, she wouldn’t have been here. No, she would already be busy becoming the top athlete of snowboarding (well on the women’s side of course). It was definitely a blow to the face everyday she couldn’t feel that rush. She was confined to this school until she could manage to hone her powers before entering the real world of the ‘normal’ people. It was becoming clear to at least one person that she wasn’t normal compared to the other athletes. Alleta did not want to kind of publicity and the accusation of her being called a cheater. There was no way she had cheated her way to the top and no way was she going to let anyone say that. Alleta worked as hard as any other athlete, but the problem of covering her new found abilities not only to the public, but to her parents as well. She wasn’t their perfect little child anymore.

Alleta soon came into realization of how much was running through her head that she had forgotten where she was. In her mind she shunned herself about the mistake and got herself ready to continue another set of leg presses. Coincidence crept its way between her and the two young men that were here. Her eyes connected with theirs and their eyes connected with hers for a brief moment. Alleta being female, couldn’t help herself from keeping a glance a little longer as they continued over to an opened area of the gym. She was only human and being female attracted her to men. A smile grew on Alleta’s face as she started her exercise. It was something she could think about on the next rest, rather than thinking of the past. Alleta didn’t like to dwell too much of past events, but was more for the time of now. What was happening now was what should be on the top of her priority list. What was now was what made the past and making the best of it would only make dwelling on the past seem so much happier.

However, as Alleta finished the second set of reps, she didn’t sneak a look at the boys just yet. The thought of how parched her throat was what had occupied her thoughts now. Her eyes scanned desperately for a water fountain in the vicinity of the arena, but soon her golden globes were directed at a woman in a dark blue and white bathing suit. It was summer, but Alleta knew the temperature of the water would still have a freezing sensation to the skin. Alleta tried to depict this puzzle before her. It was interesting to see that someone would be up at this time knowing that the water was going to be at a temperature that most people would call unbearably freezing. Alleta had to admit she was impressed that someone could love swimming so much to find self motivation to be at this gym at an hour like this. However, she too knew how something you desired greatly could just make you do silly things. She seemed to relate to the woman in the bathing suit who found her way to the locker rooms of the gym as she thought about it. The woman disappeared and Alleta began to do her last set of leg presses. She too preferred the cooler temperatures touching her skin. It was a sensation she was missing all too much and needed some way to get it off her mind for the time being. The two boys seemed to be that very thing.

Alleta’s breath became heavier after the last set was complete. Her muscle started to feel tense as they were getting a workout. However, that didn’t stop her eyes from wandering over to see what the two guys were up to. They found their target seeing that they were getting ready to spar or something like the sort. The one guy that had use of his legs was holding onto a pair of pads and the other who didn’t have use of his legs was digging into the back of his wheel chair for something.

Alleta admired the boy in the wheel chair. Even though he was limited with disability (or so she was assuming) he was getting out and enjoying every minute of his life here. Alleta wouldn’t know what she’d do if she had lost any of her legs. She required them for what she was going to be doing the rest of her life. It would probably most likely would devastate her so much she’d become depressed. In time she would heal and find a purpose again. In the mean time, she didn’t want to think of anything of the sort. Alleta was not going to let anything like that happen to her any time soon. Her need to get through this school in one piece was the one way ticket back to being reunited with her fame.

Alleta stood up with a large sigh and bent down to touch her toes for a stretch. She threw both arms up and arched her back for another stretch before she continued to the next machine. It was going to be a long morning.

As Takumi continued digging in his bag, Nemo set up a few more things for training. Mostly consisting of punching-dummies weighted to the ground, among other things. He really had no desire to actually be hurt during this training. He was Takumi's friend, but that didn't quite mean he was willing to suffer bodily harm for him on such a simple matter....

As Nemo finished up the preperations, Takumi found what he was looking for at last. Fishing an odd belt out from his bag, he wrapped it around his waist. The belt itself was rather odd, bearing, of all things, a silver and red fan-unit on it's front.

"Henshin."

Nemo was accustomed by now to the momentary flash of light that accompanied that phrase when it came out of Takumi's mouth. Still, it was rather bright and he did blink for a moment when it happened. When the light faded, Takumi's human form had been replaced by his armored form. Still lithe, it simply looked like he'd put on some kind of light uniform. White armor gleamed on his chest and shoulders and back along with white boots and gloves, all over what looked like a black full-body suit made of something akin to leather or latex. The helmet was rather insectoid-looking, sporting large compound eyes and antennae. The red scarf and the black '00' emblazoned on his back armor were the only splashes of color. He didn't exactly look scary or threatening, but he was certainly different. Nemo called the look 'retro'. Takumi said it felt more like a classic, simple look.

Standing up easily, Takumi pushed his wheelchair back with a foot to a safe distance. He then assumed a basic martial-arts stance.

"Okay Hopper, let's see what you can do." Nemo said, holding up the circular pads, which were now attached to his hands via straps. Takumi obliged, though in an odd fashion. He didn't seem to put any energy into the punches and kicks he aimed at the Pads Nemo had. After awhile the attacks took on a style...they were all quick, never in the same place twice in a row. His speed was certainly nothing to sneeze at as he threw punches and kicks faster than Nemo could keep up, causing the latter to breathe heavily as he tried to keep up and defend himself. All in all, the effect seemed like trying to dodge bolts of lightning that were intent on hitting you.

Finally Takumi's right leg came up above his head, his heel smashing down on the pads on the floor, causing the mat to tear where the heel met it, going right down to the metal floor underneath, accidentally causing a deep gong like thunder.....

"Darn, sorry about that, Nemo..." Takumi said, taking off the helmet, revealing that he was also breathing heavy from the work. "didn't know I was moving that fast."

"you're definitely quick with your fists." Nemo said, plopping down on the mat, opening his gym-bag revealing a bunch of bottles of water and taking two; handing one to Takumi and keeping one for himself. "But your kick's a bit sluggish. If you're looking to emulate Susano-o's power, that finish is gonna have to be right after your fists daze your opponent."

"True..." Takumi said, sitting down cross-legged on the floor and putting his helmet between his legs and taking a drink from his bottle. "I'll have to work on it."

Drisk walked slowly into the gym, taking in the sights. The school still amazed Drisk, even though he'd already been there for several hours. Drisk noted the students already at the gym, and went to a corner to do his own version of "weight training". Looking at the selection of weights, Drisk took off a ten pound one, a five pound one, and from his pocket took out a rock weighing one pound.

Starting with the ten pound weight, Drisk placed both his hands on it and concentrated. The weight lost it's shape, and eventually just turned into a green puddle on the floor, completing its transformation into base matter. Feeling the drain of shifting an entire ten pounds at once, Drisk took a few breaths before moving on. The five pound weight followed suit with the first one, and now a small amount of pirspiration appeared on Drisk's forehead. This was his limit, fifteen pounds was all the base matter he could have shifted at any one time. But limits were meant to be broken, which is why Drisk then took the one pound rock and cupped it in his hands.

Concentrating as hard as he could, a vein in Drisk's neck bulged as he tried to to shift the rock, which appeared to be caught in flux. A pale green had started spreading on part of the rock, and it seemed dtuck between a solid and partly-liquid. The process lasted about thirty seconds before Drisk gave up and started breathing heavily. He still couldn't exceed fifteen pounds, and it almost seemed like he never would.

Moving on, Drisk used the fifteen pounds of base matter he had accumulated from the weights to try his sculpting training. First Drisk used five pounds of base matter to shift into a cube of metal, the most basic shape he could think of. Then he used five more pounds to shift into a rock statue, which looked no better than a fifth-grader with clay could make. Out of the five remaining pounds, Drisk shifted three into a small rock, and just stared with his eyes open wide at the remaining two pounds of base matter. He should only be able to make three objects for right now, but like he thought before, limits were meant to be broken. Levitating one hand over the two pounds of base matter and the other hand over the original cube of metal. Drisk thought as hard as he could about the base matter becoming a small ball of iron.

The base matter started to collect and shift into a ball form, but the more progress it made the more the original cube became undone, back into the green puddle it had been before. Drisk had to concentrate on both objects, and in the end the cube just returned to base matter, the iron ball completing itself. Feeling discouraged, Drisk looked around, seeing what else there was to do. He sort of felt like sparring, but everyone there seemed either busy or tired at the moment. Oh, it's not that, it's just that they all hate you Marius Ill said in Drisk's head. A glare beginning to form on his face, Drisk thought back Well, I think I just found a sparring partner.

wait...what?

I think you heard me, I'm going in there

And with that thought, Drisk traveled into the crevice of his mind that Marius occupied, and as he did so his body collapsed limply to the ground, his breaths become small, though he was really in no danger.

The gym staffers had been talking among themselves, leaning on the counter located by the gym’s entrance. They had been making short talk about the wheeled guy’s transformation and the present girls, among other subjects. Things were always slow in the gym, apparently students preferred exploding/battling/dying everywhere else on AHS nowadays. Back when the gym was a single building and not an entire complex, it had surely gone to smithereens more than twice. Giant demons breaking thru the roof… Boys dismantling all the exercise machines with a single punch… catgirls cutting the entire building in halves… Yeah, it seemed like those times were long gone now. Sure, the beetle armored boy broke a tile or two, but that was nothing they couldn’t handle. It was all good.

Well, today it would probe different. A thud echoed by the weights, and as they both turned their attention to that direction, they noticed a couple of legs laying on the floor. Someone had collapsed. It was something usual, people trying to bust their muscles open with more weight than they could muster. They rushed into scene, with a little first aid kit. What they saw was surely a first to them. Usually they’d have to use some strength to free someone trapped under a weight, but right now they stood in front of an unconscious boy, with no weights around. Sure they noticed the green puddles, but they could not relate them to the boy. They each kneeled to the boy’s flanks and the one carrying to kit, opened it and took out a stethoscope.

Staff1: “He’s breathing steadily, no need for that.”
Staff2: “Let’s drag him to that bench over there… Don’t want the admins to come by and notice a student thrown about our gym, right?”
Staff1: “Sure.”

As they both began their task, putting little effort thanks to their great build, one of them muttered something about the boy’s powers being narcoleptic, to what the other simply cackled for a second.

= = =

Patricia came out of the locker rooms, wearing grey sweatpants and matching t-shirt. Her vanilla skin was still moist from the hot shower she had just had, but her golden locks had not even the slightest hint of water. Her bluish orbs caught quite a sight as she decided where to start her next session of training. The staff members she had seen on her arrival were pulling an unconscious grey haired boy towards the resting area.

As she approached the girl working out by the leg presses, she pointed at them with her silvered case.

Patricia: “That’s not something you see everyday.”

Drisk was in his head, attempting to spar Marius, though around five seconds in it became more of Marius turning Drisk into a bruised, bleeding pile on the floor. "I should have thought this out more carefully" Drisk said pitifully, when the voices of the two staff members echoed into Drisk's mind, where both Drisk and Marius heard it. "Well, at least my body will be less conspicuous on a ben-..... oh [censored], I forgot." Drisk's hold over his own mind could be shaken by immense physical or psychological damage, but with himself in his mind, the representation of himself had been beaten up, with sort of counted as both, though even dying in his mind wouldn't be enough, and would have no real affect on him in the real world. But in his representation's severely weakened state, his grip on his mind still had a little damage on it. Now with his body being moved, the swinging motion loosened his grip even further, and Drisk cold feel an ever-increasing coldness envelope his mind. Marius was trying to take control.

On his real body, Drisk's silver hair changed from silver to black, black to silver, silver to black, etc. while the green parts turned from green to orange, orange to green, etc. Drisk could feel himself be pushed back as Marius controlled more and more, and Drisk's mental representation clung on to Marius's shirt, determined to not let him gain control. With a heavy kick Marius flung Drisk''s mental representation away, and began to take total control.

Alleta had not expected to see such a sight in her life. Perhaps the acustomation of everything at AHS was not sinking into her skin properly. It was a school of meta-humans and they were going to be different just like her. In any case, she was just not accustomed to what 'different' was limited to. The boy in the wheel chair was now walking around in a huge metal body suit. Alleta had to rub her eyes to make sure she was seeing what was set before her. Her eyes took a few blinks to refocus after a good hard rub at them with her hands. The image before her did not change at all. The boy was really walking about like he had his legs all along, but only in a huge, metal body armor.

“That’s not something you see everyday.”

Alleta hadn't noticed she was starring at the two boys that were there before she had arrived. They had started to spar between each other. The boy in the wheel chair was impressive in his body armor, but was taken out of the golden brown hues when a woman's voice right beside her startled her. It caused her body to throw itself upwards direction as her head spun to catch a glimpse at the woman she had seen walking in with a bathing suit on. She wasn't wearing the suit anymore, but she was covered in the color grey. Alleta looked from her attire, to her face now. She caught the a look at her golden locks and found her eyes directly looking at her blue eyes. She had confirmed she had never seen this lady before. From the way she approached it deemed that she wasn't anything to worry about or so she assumed. The woman seemed nice enough.

Alleta herself wasn't at all dressed in colorful clothing. She wore a grey shirt that had the sleeves cut off. Words littered the back of the shirt of sponsors and the front portrayed the words of a tournament, Spring Jam '98. As for the bottoms, she wore a pair of black shorts that came midway down her thighs, white socks, and a pair of worn out tennie shoes. The only other thing that could be seen (and that was actually had some stand out colors) was a lime green sports bra that stood out at the sides where the sleeves were cut off of her T-shirt.

Alleta shrugged her shoulders as she looked back towards the two boys who had finished their sparring. She was slightly disappointed she wasn't able to watch them go at each other longer. She looked away to look back into the woman's blue eyes to answer, "Yah, It's amazing to see how many different things you see at this school. That boy over there was just in a wheel chair and now he's skippin' around in some huge armor suit like he had no trouble walking in the first place, man." Alleta hadn't realized at first where the woman was directing her comment to. It wasn't long for her to figure it out as she followed the woman's finger.

Alleta's eyes stumbled upon an unconscious, grey haired boy accompanied by two gym staff members. The sight of the boy caught her attention now. It was human nature to want to know things and what was going on or perhaps her kitten's curiosity was rubbing off on her. Alleta's eyes were glued on the boy watching what the staffers might do next. Her head tilted so that her mouth was closer to the woman who had spoken to her. It was as if Alleta thought the woman might not hear her at that close of range. "What happened? Did the boy have weight fall on him or did he overwork himself too much?" Alleta questioned becuase it seemed like the woman who pointed out the scene knew something about it.

Alleta definately hadn't lost any of her days before she arrived at AHS. It definately showed that she was part of certain type of people. Watching from a distance and watching closey at what they were looking at was something they had to do. They had to eye out their competition or critque at waht they were seeing. It was their nature to keep watching and talk at the same time. However, it might not have been a custom to Patricia of where she had come from or what type of people she was with all of her life, but if she were to get to know her closer she may be able to pick out the different qualities that made Alleta, Alleta. As for now, it seemed distractions were the only things that the two were having in common right now.

Drisk could feel himself be washed out of his own body, and trapped in his own head. It was a feeling of confinement, a feeling of hopelessness, despair, and sadness. The only thing worse was feeling Marius be washed into his body, the rank darkness taking control of the limbs, the nerves, the organs, it all fell to the will of Marius Ill. No longer in conflict, his hair stayed in its black state, and the previously green parts remained bright, glowing orange, and grew, seeing as Marius was much more adept at the power to base sculpt than Drisk was.

The body, now Marius's, got up off the bench, fully alert. An overly-large smile appeared on his face, and Marius said "Oh, it feels good to be back." Observing the room, seeing four people there. Two were drinking from water bottles, and the other two just seemed to be observing the room. Marius's eyes flared in recognition of one of them, the one in the grey. "Hey, I remember you," the darkened voice of Marius called out. "You're that girl who ran into Drisk, then called him a moron. Now, I hate Drisk, in fact, I hate all of you. But for giving me his body, however accidentally, I feel I owe him a favor. I think killing you first would be a good favor, don't you agree?"

Without waiting for a response, Marius put both hands on the ground, and shifted thirty pounds of base matter from it, which became a large axe. Then he shifted twenty more pounds of it, which he turned into a fully-loaded crossbow and aimed straight at Patricia. "You should feel honored, I haven't killed in quite a while."

((Edit: umm... yeah, it was probably a really stupid idea to turn a thread of what was basically people working out into something like this, but to be fair I was bored at the time and had just finished a lot of homework, so I wasn't thinking clearly))

"You're that girl who ran into Drisk, then called him a moron. Now, I hate Drisk, in fact, I hate all of you. But for giving me his body, however accidentally, I feel I owe him a favor. I think killing you first would be a good favor, don't you agree?"

It took a moment for Takumi and Nemo to process what had just been said. They'd noticed the one girl on the machines, as well as the other girl who had been swimming. But this new guy was an unknown. Neither of them had really paid him much attention, mostly since Nemo was busy dodging for his life when the guy had walked in, and Takumi was preoccupied with trying to hit the moving targets. Though now the schmuck had their undivided attention as Takumi quickly put his helmet back on.

Standing up, Takumi saw the gleam of the axe in the morning sunlight, the sun just now rising, causing a slim streak of light on the horizon. He knew he only had a few seconds' worth of time to react, thus no real time to ponder all his options....

Reaching out to a nearby machine, which just happened to be a benchpress set, he casually grabbed the piece of circular iron that was labeled as a 75-pound weight. Tossing it lightly a few inches in the air to test how it's weight felt, Takumi caught the disc, roating it ninety degrees and, taking careful aim, throwing it like a regular human would throw a frisbee. Propelled by several hundred pounds worth of force, the cylindrical hunk of metal spun neatly and right on course, heading towards the axe the guy was holding....

Marius heard the weight coming, and stomped his foot on the ground hard, some of it flying into the air as the orange of Marius's base matter. Touching it, the matter turned into a wall, which collided with the weight flying at the axe. The wall shattered, and Marius turned all the larger pieces into arrows, and fired with the crossbow in his hand at Patricia, picking up one of the new arrows and firing it at the armored freak.

Inside Drisk's head, the battle for control of Drisk's body and mind waged. Though Marius still held control firmly, Drisk's psyche was gathering up strength, preparing to take back what Marius had stolen. Don't hurt any of them!

Why would I listen to you?
You can't be just a killing machine, there must be some part of you that doesn't want to kill.
Oh, Drisk, you really don't get it. I don't have a part that doesn't like killing, because I'm the part of YOU that wants to kill. That's why I will never hold back when there's blood to be spilt.
Fine.... then I guess that's why I can never let you, or anyone else kill someone, if I can stop it.

Although Drisk talked...errrr..... thought big, the truth of the matter was that he was still inexperienced with both his power, fighting, and gaining back control of his mind, so for the moment he could only watch.

((god, another cheesy, horrible post. What's wrong with me lately?))

Without actually looking at the lass sitting on the leg presses, Patricia took a seat in the machine next in line. It was another leg press, identical to the one Alleta was sitting on. Her case was dropped within hand reach by her left leg.

"Yah, It's amazing to see how many different things you see at this school. That boy over there was just in a wheel chair and now he's skippin' around in some huge armor suit like he had no trouble walking in the first place, man."

As the girl addressed the armored boy, she turned her attention to the duo on the opposite side of the gym. It was not such a shock for her, she had seen similar suits back at her quaters. But she had to admit this one was one of a kind, being all retro and stuff. Funny, though, like one of those american eighty's hero. Her blue eyes took in the white bettleborg for more than a second, until her new acquitance addressed her again.

"What happened? Did the boy have weight fall on him or did he overwork himself too much?"

Returning to the silver haired boy, she took her time, watching him closely.

Patricia: "Escapes me. I just got back to see him being carried around. But... I think I know him from somewhere..."

She had only seen him once, and with a student populace being capable of filling the entireness of the garden, it proved a harsh task to nail him in her memory. But that was just when the boy stood up, with a very different look in his eyes, and overall appearance. He seemed threatening... even dangerous. The worst thing was when he turned to meet her in the eyes, sending a cold shiver down her spine. This couldn't be good.

"You're that girl who ran into Drisk, then called him a moron. Now, I hate Drisk, in fact, I hate all of you. But for giving me his body, however accidentally, I feel I owe him a favor. I think killing you first would be a good favor, don't you agree?"

That was when it hit her. She had seen him sometime back. On the day she had gone to the lake, she had run into someone. Someone had run into her... something the papermaster would more likely say. That boy had been Drisk, the silver haired boy. Before she could even reply his rethorical question, he had armed himself with a vicious looking axe and a bow. His powers, althought having a different origin than hers, were much alike those of some papermasters she knew well. Annie would also form a short-range weapon during combat, while Michelle would do a crossbow as well.

She spared a glance at her companion, the girl in the other leg press, with one of those 'is-this-guy-for-real' looks. It was not everyday you heard that, not even here at AHS, or that's what she thought at the moment. Would she really have to fend herself from this guy? She had just called the guy a moron, but right now he was nothing but a smuck. Making such a fuzz, out of a flat insult. Maybe she should have stayed back there at the sign that day and teach him a thing or two, even if just with words. Crossing her arms over her chest, she took in some air to begin with.

Patricia: "Wh...?"

A metallic clanking echoed to the boy's flank, smashing against a wall of the same material his weapons were made of. It had come from the direction the male duo had been training. One of them had thrown something at the black haired boy, a round weight by the looks of the flying remains. She had little time to react as the metal chunks turned orange and then shifted into arrows for the crossbow. With a lightspeed sleight of hand, the boy aimed the arrows and fired most of them in the direction of both girls.

With the same speed, the papermaster had opened her case and flung out a mass of her combat papers. Lukily she had always a healthy surplusof those in her case. Like water being thrown sideways, the papers formed a shield infront of her and Alleta, and then solified. It was almost three feet wide and six long, providing enough defense against most missiles. Most base matter arrows clanked harmlessly against the pollished surface that the paper cards made, but the keyword here is 'most'. A single arrow had made it thru the steel curtain, and barely scratched Patty in the arm. Where vanilla and healthy skin had once been, now rested an ever so tiny line of light red blood. With her eyes in disbelieve, Patricia stood open-mouthed for the next five seconds.

Her skin, her preciously cared skin had been damaged. She just couldn't believe it, her eyes gave it away for they stood wide open. Even if she was looking at the attacker right in front of her, she was not trully looking at him. She was shocked, but thankfully it didn't last forever.

Patricia: "What haVE yOu DONE?!"

This was as well a rethorical question. She knew well what he had done. And she knew well what she'd do right now. She was not one to run from a challenge, not even if it all looked really bad for her.

The shield paper still floated infront of her but as physics returned to them, they descended inch by inch to the ground. With a quick swing of her arm, the papers infront of her returned to their regular state and picked up some height once more. Like taking knives by fives, Patricia grabbed her combat cards in one hand and swiftly launched them at the black haired boy. This process was repeated six more times. All but one of the lethally sharp paper cards were aimed at the main body of the base matter user. The third one had been carefully aimed at the boy's left knee.

Alleta watched the woman who she had just got acquainted with sit next to her on another leg machine. She was quite glad someone was here to accompany here this morning. It was hard getting back into shape alone. Having someone else there was a good motivator for Alleta. Although, she had already finished her sets on the leg press, Alleta didn't want to be rude and walk away from the woman to another machine. So, in turn, she stayed to do a few more sets with the lady. It was a good day to befriend someone.

"Escapes me. I just got back to see him being carried around. But..., I think I know him from somewhere..."

Alleta wasn't shocked or anything, but was a little surprised her assumption of her knowing about what happened to the boy was wrong. She was always good a guessing what someone was intending, but apparently this morning she wasn't. The thought though of her knowing who the boy was, was normal though. People met people, and then forgot who they were. It happened to her, especially if she'd only met the person once in her life. It was hard to remember someone's name if only met once.

Alleta hadn't taken noticed the changes that were happening to the boy on the bench. She was slightly distracted at looking over at the two boys who were sparring not too long ago. There wasn't much else to look at in the gym, so why not take another sneak peak of what they were up to. A thought to actually join them was on her mind. It would help her out with this 'battling' she wasn't accustomed to yet. She definitely was no fighter and wasn't sure if she were capable of being in a battle. Except the next events to occur in the gym was going to challenge that question, did she really have the guts to be a fighter? For Patricia's sake, let us hope so.

"Hey, I remember you," was shouted from the direction of the grey-haired boy, but only his hair wasn't grey anymore. It had turned black and also other various parts of him weren't the same color. Alleta had a look of shock, her eyes were wide opened, her body was tense, and her mouth slightly gaped. Her heart seemed to lurch thinking that the boy knew her. She thought in that split second before he spoke again that the boy knew her from snowboarding. A feeling of dread overwhelmed her. This was something she did not want to happen, for her reputation in that industry might have just been ruined in this few moments in time. The now black-haired boy spoke up again,

"You're that girl who ran into Drisk, then called him a moron. Now, I hate Drisk, in fact, I hate all of you. But for giving me his body, however accidentally, I feel I owe him a favor. I think killing you first would be a good favor, don't you agree?"

Alleta's body seemed to melt into a warm tingly feel. She perhaps at that exact moment in time was probably the happiest person sitting in that gym. Don't get her wrong, she did have her stomach rung like a rag once she'd seen the boy start manipulating matter into weapons. However, it just was relieving to find that her futures weren't flushed down the drain. That was probably the highlight of her day right there.

Alleta didn't know how to react to this situation that had sprung on them like a cheetah on a gazelle. The feeling in her stomach seemed to grip tighter to the point where she felt sick and wanted to throw up. Her body did not tense, but it had felt like melted cheese, weakened. How was she going to get through this one, she thought? Alleta was definitely not battle ready, and seeing an axe and a bow and arrow set pointed in their direction was not the thing she wanted to start with. Alleta felt like meeting this woman was probably a bad idea, but how could she help it? The woman came up to her. The thought of not evening knowing the woman's name beside her before she died, seemed to be a bad omen as well. Was she going to live through this? Was the woman beside her capable of handling this turn of events? Alleta was racing with so many things at once she wasn't thinking about what she was going to do when the arrows and axe came their direction. Oh, was she just in frenzy.

The sound of shattering metal and the whistle of arrows through the air found Alleta hidden under the bars of the weight machine. Her quick reflexes would have anyone questioning, how the heck did she even get there in the first place? Alleta was hidden behind the seat and tangled around the bars. She did not think of, what if one of the arrows came in her direction? All she knew was to get something between her and the action of battle. Her breath became quicker, and her heart beat faster as she saw one arrow fly into the direction she was looking to. Then an angry toned voice protruded,

"What haVE yOu DONE?!"

Alleta put a hand up and slowly peaked around the leg press machines seat. A light red line streaked across Patricia's arm. Her eyes watched the woman's face expression, the oh-so-nice looking lady, turned into something of a fierce cat. Alleta hadn't seen the paper before, but now she had. She quickly knew it was coming from the woman as she started sending them towards the black-haired boy. Alleta still had no idea what to do. She didn't know how to battle. Alleta was smart, but when pressured like this it was hard to think clearly. Alleta pulled her knees up to her chest and slouched over them with her arms hugged around her legs. She rocked a little trying to keep her self sane. She whispered to herself softly hoping it would go away or something would aide her in her distress,

"Please, don't let me get hurt. Please, don’t let me get hurt. I don’t know what to do, but I'd be so much happier if this all go away. Why did I ever decide to come to this school? I knew I should have just ignored my powers and kept living my dream. I wish I were at the mountain snowboarding."

Alleta envisioned a ski hill from back at home. She could feel the cool touches of winter hitting her face, the wind through her hair, and the gliding feeling at her feet. Then, a thought hit her. In her midst of self loathing, she managed to figure out a way, or a possibly way to stop this boy from being able to manipulate his matter. Alleta was very smart when she wanted to be, but it had taken her a little while to figure this out. Alleta knew a way to stop all of this fighting and get back to getting ready for her snowboard season. This was defiantly a reason to tick off Alleta. The thought of loosing everything she ever lived for was starting to motivate her drastically now.

Despite Patricia's actions towards the black-haired boy, Alleta sprang quickly with great agility right past her directly towards the boy. Her idea would defiantly work, and he could not stop it from happening. A flicker seemed to glint in her eye as she prepared herself to do her first attack ever at this school.

It probably wasn't expected by anyone at the school. It probably made her look like a crying little baby, but tears started to fall down her eyes. That glint in her eyes was hatred, hatred for everything with people fighting. An angry cry came from her vocals as she started to manipulate the air all around her,

"Why are you all idiots?!"

Alleta was now a good ten feet from the boy and she started using her own powers. The air all around her and the black-haired boy turned very cold. Alleta was used to and enjoyed the cooler temperatures very much, but she was able to control an area of a fifteen feet radius. The temperature dropped down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit except the little area around her that was at a temperature her skin could withstand. She would have dropped it even more, but she did not want to kill the boy from the extreme temperature change. She just hoped this drastic drop in temperature wasn't too much, but she knew that these temperatures would slow the molecules of matter to the point where it would make matter shaping quite difficult. It wouldn't be as malleable as it was before. Alleta didn’t think this quite through yet. She didn't think of what to do after this and perhaps someone would have known to have come in to aide. Or so fate would decide what would happen as the snow started to fall. A blizzard began to fall in the gym, a rare sight to see? If anyone around were ready to fight, they weren’t able to see either of the two. Alleta was lost in the middle while the black-haired boy was lost as well. Alleta however, wished she had some power to be able to see through the storm. It made things quite difficult, but it thinking that the boy in the storm as well couldn't see either, let alone move as the snow was piling up quickly.

What a day to start working out...

"Why are you all idiots?!"

Both Takumi and Nemo had to admit that this was getting slightly absurd. Had this guy been like most of the students and turned to challenge Takumi when the latter had smashed neatly through the axe, things might have been a bit more under control. Of course he hadn't chosen that option, thus they had come to the current circumstance.

Nemo and Takumi looked at eachother as the snow blew around them. Since they weren't at ground-zero, the effect wasn't completely horrible. they could at least see eachother. They both pondered how best to improve the situation. Rushing in to find the girls would be useless, since in the white-out they were likely to get attacked. With another person in the area who had just entered, it seemed like the only possible way to make things better was to start reducing variables, namely people. Fortunately, fate was on their side....

Yes, the gym staff hadn't been paying much attention to what was going on. Mostly because they were jaded. They figured they'd just call the Healers and clean up the mess afterwards. As such, they'd taken to watching TV to keep their mind and their worries off of what was going on. Unfortunately things on TV didn't help much, as the program they were watching abruptly stopped, a news anchorman reporting a giant creature of some kind ravaging Domino's Business district.

"Guess I've gotta go for a bit." Nemo said, looking from the TV to Takumi. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"No rush." Takumi said, nodding. "Just remember: you've only got three minutes to save the world."

Nemo smiled a bit at Takumi's quip. Anyone else might have been irked at the remark, but Nemo's consistent good humor always stopped such reactions. He merely chuckled and nodded as he reached into his pocket before disappearing in a flash of bright red light. Takumi looked back in the direction of the TV, seeing the anchorman scramble to report a new development:

"Wait a moment! we've just received word from our comrades out in Domino! Ultraman has appeared on the scene to do battle with the beast!"

Smiling a bit inside his helmet, Takumi turned back to the heart of the blizzard. It seemed like he'd have to take the direct approach to get this guy to focus on him instead of the girls. A dramatic entrance appearing out of a blizzard....perhaps with an action pose....the concept appealed to Takumi.

The large eyes on his helmet lighting up, glowing white Takumi lept the distance between himself and Alleta lightly, seeing her body-heat amongst the massive snow. He landed only a few steps behind her, covering those steps quickly, moving next to her, putting his head close to hers so he could speak to her without the other guy hearing anything.

"This one seems rather stubborn." he remarked quietly, trying to put a calming note in his voice. "I'm to your left. Take one step right and three steps back. I'll move forward and get him to focus his attention on me."

Marius was in total ecstasy. He had drawn blood, and just the site had sent a rush down his spine, excited him in ways most would find disturbing. Seeing the paper rush at him, Marius shifted his axe into a wall which the paper became embedded in, though the one aimed at his knee missed, and although able to move his leg in time, the paper still stabbed into Marius's foot. Shifting the matter back into an axe, Marius noticed the other girl who was there, currently heading toward him with.... was that a blizzard around her?

Marius suddenly felt frigid, although he almost didn't notice it in his delirious state of euphoria. Marius started to swing wildly with the axe, hoping for a lucky hit. Panic entwined itself within the thin veil of sense that Marius had retained, forcing him to realize that at this rate, Drisk would have control back before he could kill anyone. ANd he could not allow that to happen. He was Marius Ill, an entity devoted to the increase of power and the feeling of death he so loved to create. Marius trained night and day, not having a body made sleep, eating, drinking, and most other necessities to people simply non-important in the corner of Drisk's mind where Marius typically dwelled. If he couldn't even beat some teenagers... then he had really fallen far.

Because of the frigid temperatures, he could not shift base matter into other objects, however there would still be a small amount of time between the creation of base matter and it's freezing, and so Marius shifted the axe directly into knives, leaving them at base matter for a time of less than a second. These knives Marius threw into the wind, for he had made them light, and aero-dynamic enough so that if the initial throw didn't cut them, then the knives would still be swept through the air due to the storm. In the meantime Marius conserved body heat (and made himself a smaller target for the knives) by curling into a ball and strategizing as to his next move.

The wind rushed around Alleta's ears making it difficult for her to hear. The storm raged on around the trio within. If anyone was able to fight amidst the storm, it was Takumi. Lucky for Alleta he had come to her aide by appearing behind her. Alleta definitely needed some work on the battlefield.

A whisper came right beside her, "This one seems rather stubborn". Alleta froze in the air as if the storm had done it to her. Her muscles ready to spring at any moment if danger were presented. It was animal instinct and thanks to god or thanks to the gods, Alleta was at least gifted with some. She stood still waiting for something else to be said.

"I'm to your left. Take one step right and three steps back. I'll move forward and get him to focus his attention on me."

Alleta's eyes looked toward the source of the voice. It was hard to see, in fact she couldn't see at all. Between all the snow and the wind her eyes couldn't bare to keep open, but something inside of her said that one of the two boys she had seen earlier was there. From logical reasoning, there weren't many others at the gym and she was sure if something like this occurred what the gym staff would do. At the moment, they did nothing.

Alleta, for the fear of the black-haired boy hearing, had nodded her head agreeing to what he had told her to do. It was rather hard to take the steps the voice told her to do. Take one step right… Alleta lifted her right foot, snow fell off, and she stuck her foot down into the snow. She was now shifted over standing in mid-calf deep snow. Take three steps back… Alleta now found herself a step to the right and three steps backward from where she had started from. It was all up to the voice that was helping her. Alleta's heart began to race faster again. She was beginning to feel sick again. She did not want to be in this fight anymore, but why did she start in the first place?

Then sharp pains hit her side and face. She let out a cry of pain as two little blades found her fair skin. If anyone could see, Alleta had been hit across her left cheek. Lucky for her it didn't go directly into her face. Blood trickled down cheek and dripped from her chin. The other blade, found a good place in her left side. The end of the blade stuck out just below her rib cage. She had doubled over in pain grasping her side where the blade was. At that exact moment, it seemed the storm had died down. It wasn't going as hard as it was, and slowly dissipating.

That didn't happen for too long, even in pain, Alleta knew that if she were to ruin the element of surprise of her rescuer, this could end tragically. Alleta's hands clasped around the blades handle as she put concentration back into making the storm wild again. However, this time she directed the wind in the direction of the black-haired boy. She did not take her sights off of his direction ever since the minute she started running at him.

Alleta's brains happen to start working out again. It was a slow process for her in the heat of battle, but another blade whistled past her hear indicating there were defiantly more of them. Alleta was not at all fond of using her other power, but at the current situation it was definitely needed. Alleta's back started to protrude two objects made of ice. It didn't take minutes for this to happen, but seconds. Two towering wings made of ice formed around Alleta's body. This was something new she hadn't imagined she'd use these for. Her wings were being used as a shield and that it would definitely be of great help in her next battle (that is if she ever battled again).

In all the terrible things that were happening, Alleta found something good out of it all. It somewhat eased the thought from pain that was at her side. Alleta looked down to it in her little protection dome. Alleta had so much to learn, because she was not evening giving any attention to her surroundings. Her attention was to her side and side alone. What was she to do? She knew it had to come out, but she didn't have anything to stop the blood with. And from how deep it was, she knew there would have to be some stitching. Alleta knew what she had to do for the time being. Her hands tightened their grip around the handle, she gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and readied for the inevitable pain.

Another cry a pain came from her vocals as she drop the blade to her side. Her hands found a new spot to hold. Blood had stained the ground and the blade, her shirt was turning a new color, and her hands collected a thick liquid. Oh, how did it hurt her? Alleta was now wishing she had never pulled it out. It was hurting worse than when the blade was still stuck in her. Sure, she'd taken huge falls on a ski hill. Big bruises and broken bones seemed like nothing to Alleta. Being stabbed was a completely different story. It drew blood and you had a hole to look into.

Subconsciously the storm was still raging from Alleta. Physically she lies cradling her side under her winged dome. Being that her wings were made of ice, she could see out into the storm. Sure, it was a distorted image, but it seemed to make her smile. Some people seem to become delirious when they are participating in mind altering activities. Alleta was one of those people at this moment of time. Her eyes were showing people around her through the ice wings. They were familiar faces and unfamiliar faces. The familiar faces comforted her. They smiled, waved, and gestured to get a move on down the ski hill. While the others were of fans, but they were pointing and gasping at her wings. This did not comfort Alleta. Like the storm raging outside her dome, Alleta inside was raging an emotions, conflicts, etc.

Alleta closed her eyes almost falling asleep and started to whisper to herself, "I can't do this. I was never born to do this," she paused to think about her parents and the life she should have taken, "Maybe…maybe, I should have done everything my parents set for me. I was sure to make it successfully there. A tear fell from underneath an eye-lid, "Why am I failing? I'm a failure. I'm a failure. I don't have what it takes to do this." Just then one of the figures that were portrayed in her wings moved closer to her. A familiar young man gently put a hand to her bleed cheek. Alleta opened her eyes to find someone that had been very close to her. His gentle touch comforted her. Her body relaxed and she smiled, "Rei! You retarded idiot, you went and got yourself killed on that stupid hill. Do you know how much you've put on us all?," a moments pause, "I've missed you, a lot." The curly locked man's blue eyes looked down at Alleta and smiled, "You've always made me laugh you silly girl. And no matter what you're doing, you've always looked beautiful." Alleta's heart seemed to melt away. Hear heart was filled with holes, but seeing Rei seemed to mend it.

"I just wanted to let you know Alleta, do not fear the path ahead of you. Remember, you were never fearless to any path before you when you snowboarded. You were a fearless banshee you big oaf. Just keep your head turned and your feet on your stick. You will know what to do Alleta, you've always have," Rei then disappeared and so did all the other figures with a wave. The image of Rei did not leave the back of Alleta's head. Oh did she wish he was still here, he always understood her. Alleta closed her eyes once again, but this time she fell unconscious from the loss of blood from her side. She had forgotten to put pressure on it that whole time which left a pretty good sized pool on the ground. Her hands swam within the pool, her body lies limp, and somehow the blood from her cheek was wiped away.

"Not good." He had gone off to change into into his other form, It was freezing, and his metal body wasn't exactly holding the best of heat. His slow foot fall was suddenly heard, how wasn't it heard? He pushed his way into the storm. "Great..." The wind shifted, a boy in the storm, huddled up,well let pull this idiot out first, He stepped up he towered over the boy, his arm reached down and grabbed him, if he didn't suddenly try to cut off his metal arm, he was planning on dragging this kid out...

Patty, despite focused on the boy that now was her enemy, noticed Alleta’s reaction to the sudden battle. Papermasters hardly worked alone since their powers had strong weaknesses, consequently had this innate sense to checking on fellow combatants… Alleta was not battling, but nonetheless fell under the label of fellow. She appeared to be nice enough, just not cut for battle, apparently. After all, not everyone in the school had military-like training in their background.

Her attack had connected, and she smirked at this. Maybe she could win, just by holding back and keeping her friend, who just dashed by her and dived towards their enemy, safe…

"Why are you all idiots?!"

This lowered Patricia’s guard, and got her to consider things for a little. Was she an idiot for protecting the girl and herself? Was she an idiot for responding to a probably lethal attack? It was a meaningless fight, yes, but she had only fended herself from her attacker. Alleta was not being fair, not at all. But then again, what would her superiors think of her as she had caused endangerment to innocents? This wasn’t the first time, of course, you could just picture her record with her not so nice attitude.

The low temperatures stopped her train of thought, and suddenly returned to the battle at hand. There was a snow storm pushing with all its might inside the gym. That had to be someone’s power, right? She had seen someone come into the place just a minute ago, maybe it was that person’s powers? Chill winds flooded the gym and, for a second, Patricia remembered those winters back at her home, in London. No, this cold was much worst, it was like from snowy mountains. Thankfully she was standing a good ten feet from the border of where the Alleta's powers contained the ice storm, otherwise she would probably have frozen to death. But Alleta could be lost in the storm, she couldn’t let that girl die in there.

Sparing a glance at the rest of the people in the gym, she noticed one of boys who had been sparring was missing and that the other was getting ready to jump into the storm or leave, apparently. Maybe he could take care of the mattershifter while she got Alleta out of the storm?

Quick on her hands, the papermaster took out a red ribbon tape she had in her case and with little effort, but exact accuracy, threw it in the direction the girl was already becoming hard to be seen thanks to the falling snow. It grabbed hold of Alleta’s ankle, luckily enough. With the temperatures going insanely low, sensation also decreased, meaning she could have not felt it right away. She gave enough reel for it not to bother the snowboader.

Deciding that the risk the girl was running was much worse than that of her into the storm, the blonde girl nailed the other extreme of the ribbon to the ground where she was standing… and rush into the magically created storm. The ribbon by the leg presses would give her a returning point once she reached Alleta. After tucking a handful of cards within her pants, she convinced herself that this was the best thing to do with a courageous nod.

The girl advanced into the storm, pulling lightly on the bright red ribbon that would lead her to the girl. That was when she heard some scream. It had come from the middle of the storm, to where she was clumsily and slowly making her way. It was Alleta, apparently... maybe calling for help? She had to reach her and fast. Snow didn’t help though. Patty’s somewhat resistance to cold helped her move among the chilly wind currents, but it would surely breach her limit if she didn’t hurry. That was when she heard the second yell. It was faint, with the win blowing and all, but still it she had heard it. Even if lightly, the ribbon moved from the other end. Something had happened. Maybe the black haired boy had already slayed the girl she intended to rescue? No, he too should be affected by the artificial weather.

As she reached the center of it, she managed to point out two different shapes. As she got closer, they turned out to be four of them. Right ahead of her laid a bluish cocoon like object, about the height of a crouched person. Besides it, a humanoid figure almost invisible thanks to his white armor. The other two were about ten feet away and due to the snow it was hard to make out any particular signs.

Patricia: “Girl?! Is that you?! Answer me! We have to get out!”

She yelled, as she got closer to her catch and the insectoid warrior. There was no time for shock right now, but an ice angel is something she would surely have to talk about later. She motioned the warrior to leave her with the unconscious girl, and deal with he who had started all this.

Making her way to the angel, she kneeled by her side and tried seeing if she was awake. The girl’s eyes were shut, and she barely breathed. It indeed was Alleta, even if she didn’t know her name yet.

Patricia: “Hey! Girl! Wake up! I have to get you out of here!”

Her wings were heavy but not only because of the snow. The fact they were made of ice didn’t help a bit. She was running out of options and heat, so she took her chances and lifted the girl slightly and smacked her twice in each cheek. As she returned her hand, she noticed a blood red trail on it. Even if it was just frozen blood. The girl had a cut on her cheek, just like Patty had on her arm. This couldn’t have knocked her out, she looked stronger than that.

As she moved the other with all her resting strengths, she noticed the blood stain on the snow. More snow had covered it, but as she shook the limp body of the girl, it came to sight. She had lost so much blood. Maybe she wouldn’t be able to help her after all.

NO! Things would not end that way!

By those weird twists of fate, the ribbon tape was pulled. Someone was pulling it from the other end. Maybe it were the staff members? As quickly as she could manage, since her muscles were already feeling numb, she undid the tie that held Alleta’s ankle and made a new lasso around both of their bodies. That was when she reached the complete extension of her strengths...

Never thought… I’d die from cold.

It was funny, thought.

She had always been warned by The Joker and Wendy that someday she’d freeze to death while swimming in the icy waters of the Library’s reservoir during one of those hard winters. Not a single time she had ever listened to their advice…

As her mind started to drift away in the cold, she spared a thought at the moment she met the grey haired boy who had caused all of this. Maybe she indeed did wrong by insulting him, and could have avoided the whole thing…

She didn’t faint, thought. She knew her powers were useless unless she stood awake. Her kinetic abilities over paper made the ribbon tape as strong as any 5 inches rope, unlikely to break with nothing but two girls attached to it.

But, surely enough, it would be up to the staffers or whoever it was that was pulling the ribbon to save the duo tied by the red ribbon.

((OOC: this is assuming Ren grabbed Drisk / Marius, and that the storm did not dissapate when Alleta passed out, if either assumption is wronf please tell me))

Marius couldn't believe his luck. By some fortunate chance, a student had started to drag him out of the horrific storm. Despite his near-hallucinagenic state of ecstacy at so much blood being spilt, Marius was a thinker and a strategist, so he knew that it would be stupid to attack this student before he was pulled out of the diabolical blizzard. So Marius bided his time, his hands flat on the ground, scooping up base matter from the floor in preparation for his next strike. To make sure he seemed innocent, Marius put on the best hurt voice that he could, and said "so cold.... ugh... I can't stay awake.... my foot, why can't I feel my foot?"

Inside his head, Drisk could have cried if he still had eyes that he himself controlled. He had thought that Marius could be a pain even at the best of times, but he'd never imagined anything could go this far. Another thing which amazed him was Marius's skill with base matter. It far exceeded Drisks, and he found himself wondering why such incredible skill was given to such a murderous entity. Almost feeling strong enough to take the body back, Drisk thought over and over please.... no one die. I couldn't live with myself if I was in some way responsible for a death. Please... stay alive.

Marius's mind was a whir of connections and thoughts, all of which added to his strategy. Two students, incapacitated, one of them hopefully deceased. Another one uninjured, could be a challenge. One carrying me, take out as soon as storm is exited. Go all out on remaining student when assissting one is down. Do quickly, control of body almost beginning to fade.

Ren manged to get out of the storm with the student. At least alive anyways, he hoped. He dropped the student, He turned and was searching the storm for any sign of others.

Takumi blinked inside his helmet, watching the heat-rainbow images he was seeing. He couldn't really believe it. Who would actually want to save that guy? He was dangerous and too powerful for his own good.....

Thinking about it for a brief moment, Takumi figured it was not his to ask why, just to accept it and be thankful. Turning around he saw Alleta on the floor along with patty. The two of them huddled together for warmth or protection. It wouldn't have been all that alarming, except for the pool of heat that was around them that Takumi guessed could only be blood. This was almost becoming too much. Too many actions going on to properly keep track of. Unfortunately most of his experiences in heroism were....rather scripted out. Winging it was going to take some getting used to.

Moving over to the girls, he quickly grabbed the rope Patty had conjured, pulling them both out of the storm and moving them into a small, sheltered corner. He didn't really have healing powers, but he knew that moving Alleta any more than absolutely required, would only do more harm than good. He couldn't exactly leave them right now, not with both of them injured. But that little psycho would most likely be back soon. How the heck was he supposed to be in two places at once?

Fortunately his prayers were answered almost at once, as Nemo walked back in the door to the gym, looking bruised and out of breath, but otherwise in one piece. He stopped in his tracks at the door, looking intently at the snowstorm, not seeing even shadows of movement. But he suspected that since school security wasn't around, everyone was still here, simply regrouping.

Jumping the reception desk, Nemo quickly grabbed the first-aid kit that was kept under the desk for emergencies.

"Sorry, just have to borrow this." Nemo said, smiling at the slightly shocked look on the receptionist's face. He then began moving between the machines, looking for Takumi or one of the girls they'd seen before....

OOC:
OMG X_X, I am so sorry for the extremely long posts. I just got creative crazy, but I really liked the story that was coming to mind. I was really enjoying writing out a good story. >_> I hope you all aren't too angry with me.

IC:
Unfortunately, for Alleta, she has put her new acquaintance Patricia in a dangerous situation. It was a shame that the two of them hadn't gotten to talk to one another more. She could have learned about Patricia's power and Patricia could have learned more about her powers. Patricia would then have realized that Alleta would have been completely fine within the storm. However, this was not the case. The storm found two girls lying together for warmth as the snow around them started to build higher.

Patricia would have found that Alleta was a lot warmer than she probably would have imagined. Luck was on Patricia's side and also Alleta's. Patricia would have not frozen in the storm. Alleta was giving enough heat around her body to support Patricia with sufficient enough heat to keep her alive. Patricia did not only gain this area of luck, but a rescuer had saved the both of them. The boy who was in the metal-armored suit had found Patricia's ribbon. He pulled the two of them from the storm and from the danger the black-haired boy posed. The two girls were in more luck as the seconds passed.

The gym staff had been watching the form of a storm. It wasn't like you could see a storm inside a building everyday. They were awed by the sight and proceeded to watch until their senses of being gym staff came back. The gym staff came annoyed now, now knowing they had to actually do some work this morning. It wasn't long until they noticed the boy that was in the wheel chair had pulled the two girls out. At first, they were dumbstruck from the sight. It had been a while since they had to save a life. After a moment of regaining theirs selves, a group of them ran to the scene with two stretchers to carry the young woman to safety.

Staff 1: "You," a pause as he looked at the metal suit with caution, "stop that storm. It's going to ruin the gym floor. And somehow cease that boy from attacking everything in sight. We don't need any more terror at this school than we already have."

Of course, the staffer was concluding to the point that the break out at H-Block, the school closing down, and the difference between 'normal' and 'abnormal'. Deaths by the very own students at AHS was probably not on the list for dean to have to worry about. He already had to worry about mentally disturbed meta-humans from causing havoc to the school, but having to worry about students attacking other students would probably test his capacity to do everything at once.

Staff 2: "Alright, sir! We've got the two ladies ready to go."

The two girls were now strapped into the stretchers. Their wounds dressed enough to make it to the hospital for the nurses there to properly treat. The staff member who was talking to Takumi spoke again,

Staff 1: "Alright, you bring them to the hospital prontoooOOOoo!"

The storm started to pick up heavier. If anyone had some sense, it was to either wake up Alleta or bring her out of sight of the storm. Her mind was still controlling it subconsciously and her head was racing with all sorts of emotions. Which, of course in her case it was truly dangerous. If the storm went out of hand and raged any harder, it would weaken her considerably to the point of death. She had not truly known her powers. This was costly to a new student like herself.

Staff 1: "The storm is getting worse! We need this to stop!"

His voice level jumped up and down as the wind blew by him and snow pelted his face. The storm was growing unstable and started to thrash outside its normal fifteen foot radius.

"Rei? What are you doing here again? You are supposed to be dead! Don't do this to me! I can't let this eat me inside again." Sobs sounded in the cool crisp air. Alleta stood atop a snowy mountain that was not at all familiar to her. It had not been like any mountain she'd seen before. Tears streamed down her face looking around the cliff they stood atop of. She didn't near the edge because she couldn't see any ground. There was clouds shrouding around the area they were and it seemed as if the mountain was in a space of nothing. Like there was no end or beginning anywhere, but only a mountain with snow sifted atop it.

A dark, wild haired boy with brilliant blue eyes stood before Alleta gazing intently into her own set of golden hues. Even though she knew he had died a while back, his very presence still comforted her. The boy was older and taller than the last time she'd seen him, but those stunning features that made Rei could not have been mistaken. Oh, did she miss seeing his face and hearing his voice. It caused the tears that streamed like waterfalls down her cheeks. She held happiness, confusion, sadness, and fear in one facial expression. Rei just seemed to smile back at her while he reached a hand out to her shoulder.

Alleta pulled away wondering if any of this was for real. If it were, she couldn't comprehend it. She wasn't your ordinary meta-human who grew up having to accept the abilities she had been gifted with. Alleta had to hide them away, fearing her parents would reject her for not being as perfect as they thought. Alleta was someone who wanted to be normal where the supernatural was something you just dreamt for excitement in your life. Alleta was having a hard time trying to accept the fact that the things that were myths and tales were all so true. No one was trying to scare her in the dark anymore with made-up stories, the stories happening now are for real.

Alleta shuddered at the warmth that touched her shoulder and now on her face. Her tears paused to take in the gentle stroke across her cheek. Rei's hand left a trial that tingle across her face. Alleta had never felt a touch like that in a long time. She was in a state of ecstasy. Could this be for real? Was he really here with her right now? The thought of falling down into an endless pit disappeared. Her heart raced with feelings that had been locked for a while. It had only been a few years, but it was the only way she could pass what had happened.

Rei stood up next to her, brought her closer, and rested his head atop of hers. Alleta rested her head between his shoulder and neck. Her hands clenched his shirt in a bundle as she was being held close to him. Alleta's heart raced quickly with the hope that this was not a dream. She didn't want to be alone again. She defiantly needed an aide in her journey through life.

Rei remanded holding her and whispered softly, "Alleta, I've been waiting a while for this." Alleta felt a hand run through her hair. She was struck with questions. What did he mean he has been waiting for this? Wasn't he dead? How was he talking to her again? Where were they? What was he waiting for? Was this real? The last thing she remembered was a strong pain to her side and a crazy boy attacking her and the girl that she had just gotten acquainted with. She couldn't even remember her name or even if she had offered her name. What was her name? Why did everything have to be so hard?

Alleta kept quiet in her whirl of questions hoping that Rei would speak again. Rei gave her wish and continued, "I know you must be in a state of confusion, but I haven't been dead all this time. I know right, it seems crazy. I thought so too." Rei stopped to pull her away and look into her eyes to let her know he was for real in what he was saying. Alleta knew him quiet well and was listening very closely, "I am not dead. I've been at this place for awhile. I thought it to be some sort of heaven for people like us, but surprisingly with a good amount of time to yourself and some random things that have happened here, I have found that I am not dead. And I know a way back. I haven't been able to try to get back. I had to wait for the right moment, but right now. You have proven there is a way here and I believe you and I will be seeing each other more often than you think. You don't have to miss me again."

Rei smiled as he let go of Alleta and stood away. His eyes drifted into the white fog that started to shift. He looked back to Alleta with a smirk on his face, "But, I don't know if I want to spend time with a turd ferg like you!" Alleta could not believe at a time like this how ridiculously stupid he could have sounded. Why was this current moment something to laugh about? He had died! And for some reason now, he was alive again! Alleta looked at him sternly, but couldn't hold it for long. It was the way they comforted each other. Rei took run from the angry Alleta that was coming after him. "You jerk! Who do you think you are! Do you know how upset you've made me and then you go on about how I'm a turd ferg. You sicken me Rei!" she shouted as she pounced atop Rei. Rei had no further to go, but allowed for Alleta to throw her body to where they both tumbled into the snow.

Snow flew in all directions as the two fought for a few seconds. They both ceased their laughs and giggles to their deep breaths for oxygen. Rei sat up and crossed his legs underneath Alleta's bottom. Alleta sat atop his lap with her hands on his shoulders. She looked deeply into his bright, blue eyes still questioning what was going on. It was still hard to believe that this was real. She could already see it ending and her waking up in the middle of the night feeling empty and alone. "Are you for real?," she paused hoping her words would not offend Rei, "Are you really coming back?" Rei looked at her and replied sarcastically, "No, I just made up everything so I could get you to sit on me right now." Alleta hit him lightly with a punch to the shoulder, "Seriously! I'm not joking; I can't take any more of this. I don’t want to be hoping you'd come back again. Are you really alive?"

Rei knew Alleta was not in such great shape and became serious with her, "Alleta, I am not dead. You will be seeing me soon. Since when have I lied to you?" Alleta's eyes filled with tears again. She couldn't believe it. A feeling of completeness was what she needed. Everything in the world seem to fall right back into place. Rei was goin…

Alleta was hoisted up by Rei, "What are you doing Rei?" Rei looked sad as he readied himself to toss her off the mountain. "Alleta, I'll be there. I will promise you this, but I can't go yet. I have some business to finish here. As for you, you need to stop that storm you've created, before you go and kill yourself. Now wouldn't that be irony, ha!" Alleta felt Rei swing her backward, "Rei! What are you doing?!" Rei replied, "Alleta, to get back. No fear, only think of what's to lie ahead." And with that, Rei tossed her over the edge of the mountain into the endless fog that surrounded. Alleta was falling through the air wondering what on earth Rei had thought. Was he trying to kill her? Was that the way they were going to be back together? Alleta was now flailing her arms as if maybe they would act as wings.

Alleta could not see anything, but still thought about smashing into the ground. It wasn't an intriguing thought either. Her stomach twisted as she became nauseous of the falling sensation. Then suddenly she remembered Rei's words: Do not fear, but look ahead. Alleta closed her eyes and thought of the two of them at AHS talking as they walked to a local restaurant. Could this really mean that she'd see an old face again? Was she going to be reunited with Rei again?

Alleta opened her eyes to see Patricia beside her. Except she seemed to bob up and down, and took notice to two men; one was in front of her and the other behind her. Alleta then noticed two more in the same spots by her. Pain at her side reminded her of where she was. She was in the gym where she had the intentions to only work out today. Alleta only started to cry knowing that what just happened was not for real. It was her head playing tricks again. She hated herself to become to believe in what Rei had said.

Despite the fact that she was angry at herself, she remembered the words the other words he had said. She threw a hand up to start controlling the storm once again to return peace to the gym. The storm slowly dissipated only to leave a huge pile of snow that was about two feet deep across the ground. The staffers stood caressing their eardrums after their loud shouts of dismay. The lead staff man that had been yelling at Takumi to hurry and stop that storm had stopped. The quick change from before was something to see. However, he was relieved yet. There was the matter with the black-haired boy. The lead staff man looked to Takumi for an answer.

Staff 1: "Can you handle him?"

Alleta closed her eyes just feeling the motion of the two staff members running. The staff members reached the doors that led outside to a rescue vehicle. The morning sun was beating down fiercely. Alleta felt the warmth of Rei's body as the rays reached her. Alleta eyes opened wide searching quickly. To her disappointment, she did not find him running along side with the other men. It grew dark as the two girls were tossed into the emergency vehicle. The rays of the sun no longer reached to dance on Alleta's skin. The doors shut, the vehicle turned on, and the lights flashed. Alleta and Patricia were on there way to the hospital. Was Rei really back?

((OOC: personally, I think that the longer the posts are, the better. That might just be because I'm a reading addict. I know that view isn't really reflected in my post lengths...))

Rage rose inside Marius, filling his being with anger, such anger that he'd never experienced before. He shoved Ren away, forming another axe from the ground, which he ran straight at the armored kid with. He could feel the weight of the weapon in his hand, and could feel what he would do to the armored freak, how he would maim him, dismember him, murder him. These thoughts almost replace his lost eruphoria, but Marius was too filled with rage for that.

The distance closed. 15 feet, 10 feet, 7 feet, 5 feet. Marius readied his axe for a swing, ready to kill this pest who had given him so much trouble. Then, for what seemed like no reason at all, Marius froze. His whole body numbed, and darkness appeared at the edge of his vision. It spread, and all of a sudden Marius was no longer in the gym, no longer surrounded by the students he considered targets. Instead, he was in darkness, and although he could not see a floor he knew one must be there, for he was standing, not floating. A bright light pierced in the darkness, a brightness Marius did not think was possible in this degree of darkness.

The light changed form, revealing itself to be Drisk Kayne, though he still glowed brightly. As Drisk walked toward him, Marius could see tears on his face.

You indescribable [bleep].
Oh, you're too kind.
Marius, do you have any idea why I put up with you?
Because I'm a part of you, so you have no choice but to put up with me.
You're wrong, I do have a choice. And I've been too scared to make that choice until now. This little incident has assured me of what I must do.
Marius's thoughts developed a sour tone to them. You wouldn't really...
Shut up, I would. And this time, I will.

Drisk punched Marius, and then the whole space filled with light. Back in the real world, Marius / Drisk's body was changing again. Everything Marius had made with base matter dissolved, and turned back into the floor it once was. The body's hair switched from black to white, the orange going back to green. The body's eyes closed, and then opened suddenly. Drisk was back.
