(The school wasn't exactly what she thought it was. Granted, it was no bed of roses, but somehow...she didn't hate it either. Accommodations were reasonable, the staff were hardly evil or overbearing, and the food - such as it was - appeared to be free. Actually, she'd been to the cafeteria before. That was when...yes... She'd been standing in her room - currently only herself as an occupant - and now that inkling of a memory peaks in. Elisa sighed, throwing herself back onto the bed with some annoyance. Even if she were more or less a monster to people back then, she had SOME sensibilities. That day she went to the cafeteria, where she had met La'Roe... It was kind of funny, really. La'Roe had killed a pair of students and turned their bodies into gun-toting zombies. Her entrance into the cafeteria had begun in a hail of gunfire. Elisa remembered how she reacted. Subtly ducking random gunfire and students, she went over and offered her a muffin.)

Elisa: Heh heh heh heh... The look on her face was so precious too!

(For a moment, the black-clad catgirl laughed, actually grinned as she remembered what she labeled as..."The Good Times". It had never been a pleasure for her to do the things she had done, not until she met La'Roe, a member of the White Hand and her first real friend. But - and this stopped Elisa's laughter cold - the White Hand was gone. La'Roe was gone, Selah and Solomon were gone, everyone was gone... Even him...)

Elisa: Aaron...

(Her violet eyes staring up at the ceiling, she couldn't help how she felt. Even her own kind felt a little distance from her. Human beings, Moonians, and all points between. But Aaron had been special. They weren't just associates. They were an unbreakable pair, except... Except that he was gone too. She'd loved him and did everything for him and he was dead with the rest of them... That burned her up, big-time...but there wasn't anything she could do. A slight growl escaped Elisa's lips as she gritted her teeth. Getting up andleaving her room, she began to search around for something - ANYTHING - to do. She had to get her mind off of this! Otherwise, she'd never get any better.)

This seems to be the best place to start...

A young man appeared in the hallway looking something like a titan in several ways. His face seemed to be looking quite serious as he started to scan the area around him. It had been awhile since the events that involved his grandmother, and now he had been starting to explore the area. More specifically he had desired more than anything to find the one responsible to hurt his family. Adjusting his sunglasses, he kept his duffel bag close to him while searching the numbers. He had some research that he had been working on for his own past, and he had desired to keep them safe with him until he had a better idea on what to do with himself.

That was when he saw her.

Stopping, he looked at the strange girl and thought for a second that she had been a nekos. However, tilting to his head to the side, he noticed that she didn't have a tail. But then again, he wasn't sure on the species of different nekos. In either case, he thought of speaking with her. Keeping his pace, he walked over to the shorter one and spoke to her with a low tone of voice. "Excuse me, I was wondering if you can help me or something." From his appearance, he seemed to be a little more intimidating than normal, but there is much more to him than meets the eye.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if you can help me or something."

(Whenever she was worked up, you could tell that now was...not the best of times for her. Elisa was wracking her brains for ideas, and it was driving her up the walls that she wasn't coming up with anything other than wanted to beat the ever-loving tar out of something. Because of this, she actually hadn't noticed the tall figure at first...until he spoke up. Her ears were always active. Stopping, she looked back at the speaker.)

Elisa: Eh?

(The look on her face was comprised of slight irritation, though that was mostly because of her own annoyance and not him. The other part of her expression could be pretty much summed up as a calm "WTF?" face. This was a look reserved for things that seemed out of place or surprising to her. In this instance, the reason was because Elisa hadn't even noticed him...and there he was. Turning his way, she gave an irritable look towards the guy now.)

Elisa: Whadya need? I'm a bit busy going out of my mind here.

"Well, I was wondering if I can know the location about something..."

Sorns looked at the girl with what seemed to be a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean you're going to lose your mind?" He wasn't sure what to really make of it. She didn't look like she was insane, but then again he probably might be wrong. Either that or she had been incredibly bored. Setting down his bag, he looked at the girl for a second to think about what to say to her, then decided on what to say. "My name is Sorns, I'm sort of new here." He wasn't sure what to tell her about his upbringing. It was less about his parents and much more about how he had changed from the younger boy that he was and had increased in age with his uncles and aunts. Either way, he appeared to be curious about the girl. His red eyes locked onto hers while wondering about her.

(At first, he wanted to know if he could ask about some sort of locations, but then he decided to change that to a more personal inquiry, asking her about her earlier statement. Well, at least he was paying attention. The question of what she meant, though... You know, sometimes she wondered about that. If she went stir-crazy for long enough, would she actually lose it? Like...Specialist Willy lose it? Only one way to find out...)

"My name is Sorns, I'm sort of new here."

Elisa: Funny that. I am too...in a way.

(And suddenly, a mischievous smile formed, showing a fang as her violet eyes flashed wickedly. She began to speak that way too.)

Elisa: My name is Elisa. And I dunno, Sorns... It's been kind of touch-and-go for the most part. I never was exactly one for perfect mental health. Freud would go out of his mind. I mean, even more so.

(She was shorter, but also certain that she could take him if need-be. Elisa's first instinct for ALOT of things was to see if punching it did any lasting damage. Sort of like Marina, her first impression was to play hard, REALLY hard. In fact, Elisa's next action was to take a finger and 'playfully' jab Sorns in his shoulder. That might raise a welt later if he let her do that. She kept up that wicked smile, almost as though she had found something to do and he might not like it...'cause it involved bugging him.)

Elisa: Now...what's this 'thing' you need help locating, hmmm?

"I don't really judge on mental health. You seem to be normal enough."

To be honest, he really did think of her as sane if she was just going crazy with boredom. If what she said was true and Freud would have gone crazy when placed in the same room as her, then he would have tried to kill himself if he spent even a second within his own family's house. Though there wasn't much violence within the Togami household, the array of craziness was so broad and deeply rooted that any psychiatrist that would even bother analyzing them would have ran out screaming and check themselves into the closest asylum. Looking around however, he continued to speak with her with the same calm tone in his voice. "To be honest, I am just looking around. I was trying to find my dorm room, but I seemed to have got lost."

"I don't really judge on mental health. You seem to be normal enough."

(She snerked at this.)

Elisa: Is that your professional opinion, Watson?

(All in all, she didn't have a problem with Sorns. He just seemed the type who would turn out to be a little slow on the uptake. Then again, how was ANYBODY suppose to know that she was about nine bananas short of a bushel? Basically, Elisa did what she liked, and naturally assumed that other people would find it strange. Why? Because she was the ultimate foreigner, an orphan child from the parallel dimension of a completely non-human world. The only thing missing was time travel, and Som was the one holding THAT card.)

"To be honest, I am just looking around. I was trying to find my dorm room, but I seemed to have got lost."

(She sighed. Another lost one. Honestly, couldn't anybody do anything right around here? Elisa looked at Sorns like an unwanted puppy in the rain. You couldn't just leave it, now that you found it, but then...what COULD you do? Shaking her head, she relented on this. It's not like anyone else was around, and she WAS bored, after all...)

Elisa: Alright, alright... What's your room number, bungee-boy?

(Bungee-boy?)

"Personal more than anything."

Sorns tone and expression were ones that were sincere. He really didn't see anything wrong with her and didn't immediately judge her off the bat. Unless he saw something extreme like her doing some kind of santanic ritual or going down the route of some kind of black magic or the dark side of voodoo, then he had kept the reservations down until he had seen otherwise. However, he blinked a couple of times when she called him bungee boy. What did she mean by that? He couldn't think of anything in particular that he has on him or about him that would give him that name. Searching his pockets, he rummaged through them carefully until he had found the number that he was looking for. "This is what they given me," he said while handing it to her. "You wouldn't happen to know where it is would you," he asked while looking at the smaller girl.

(Honestly, it was a completely-random phrase, having nothing to do with anything. It popped in her head right then and that's why she said it. No hidden mysteries or anything like that. Just total randomosity.)

"This is what they've given me. You wouldn't happen to know where it is would you?"

(He handed her a little card that bore the label "385" on it. She raised an eyebrow at this. Okay...it was on this floor, then. All she had to do was find it. Giving a gesture to follow, Elisa slowly stalked the hallway, looking for the right room. The trouble was that, in accordance with Dorm Rule #1683779, the numbers on the doors were labeled out of order to give it a non-Euclidean flavor. This made them wander around a bit, until Elisa finally found it. The door was ajar.)

Elisa: Alright, here it...is.

(Curious. It smelled familiar to her. Looked like it had an occupant, judging by the state of the bed, the stuff lying around. The...familiar-looking iPod... She facepalmed. Elisa, you idiot. You never even bothered to remember the number to YOUR OWN ROOM. No wonder he's having trouble. How can YOU be dependable, you nutcase?! Looking at Sorns with an expression of some confusion, she spoke again.)

Elisa: It also happens to be mine. I'm gonna have to say, I did not expect this.

"Huh, it's a good thing I ran into you then huh?"

Sorns had a smile on his face as he looked at her. It must have been a stroke of luck they would meet. At least he didn't need to worry about getting lost or anything. Sorns looked at the bed while the door was opened up a crack and then looked at Elisa again. "Do you mind if I set up my stuff in there or is it a bad time?" Sorns wasn't sure what would be going on in her room and he didn't want to find something in the room that would make her immediately shut the door on him. At least this way he didn't need to worry about getting into too much trouble with her. He had grabbed his bag as he looked at the door. Hopefully he had not caught her at a bad time so he could be able to put his stuff into the room.

"Huh, it's a good thing I ran into you then huh?"

(Was it? The catgirl wasn't sure about that. And, in fact, she'd be suspicious of the boy if it weren't for the fact that he looked about as harmful as a glass of Kool-Aid. Well, if they were roommates, then that was that. It wasn't really worth a fuss, so Elisa just shrugged noncommittally at his comment, then looked in the room. It was there to support two people, with equipment for two, so she shouldn't have been too surprised. Facing Sorns again, he spoke up before she could say anything.)

"Do you mind if I set up my stuff in there or is it a bad time?"

Elisa: Err, no. It's not. I said I was bored, remember?

(Then, she jabbed him hard in the chest with her finger, her gaze much more commanding all of a sudden.)

Elisa: But I prefer you leave what's mine alone, got it? I hate it when someone moves something around and I can't find it later.

(Through the doorway, you could see that her dresser had clothing in it, the suitcase still had some personal possessions in 'em - mostly diversionary stuff - and her iPod was lying out in the open. Elisa withdrew her finger, let off a wry smirk, and gestured that he may enter at his leisure.)

"Not a problem."

Sorns was going to have to be careful with what goes into where. He didn't need to be told to keep himself from touching other girl items. He had spent some time in the Togami household and there were things in there that would scare even the strongest of warriors in both body and will. So he was going to make sure that he doesn't do anything of that sort here. Walking into the room, he smiled appreciatively and nodded. "Thank you." Sorns went to the vacant bed and started to get out several articles of clothing. They were all very big and it was hard as hell to find a big and tall store in tokyo. He also had some books that Lance had given him along with some classical music cds. The last thing he took out he was very careful about. It was what his mother called his "momo". In reality it was a monkey hat/beanie. It had the smile, the ears and an adorable tail that came out of the back.

(She didn't need his thanks, and she now didn't know what to DO with him. He may as well have come out of nowhere. In fact, technically he did... Watching Sorns carefully, she began to wonder where exactly he came from. Originally, that is. There was...an odd scent. Could've meant anything, really, but her instincts told her that something was just a little off. She was just walking in when Sorns pulled out the hat. Elisa saw this and...)

Elisa: Pffft... *Snerks*

(That was one of the most ridiculous things she's ever SEEN! In no time at all, Elisa had lost control of herself and just busted out laughing. This was followed by a loud THUMP as she hit the floor from a loss of balance.)

Elisa: Ow...heh heh...

(She got up near the thing and gestured at it.)

Elisa: This may sound like a dumb freakin' question, but uhhh...why do you have a monkey-hat?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(Miles away, in distant jungle of a small volcanic island, a great big monstrous head belonging to a giant three-eyed red ape-creature rose from the tree canopy and said...

"GAZUGA-SENSES TINGLING..."

Just get it all out of your system...

Sorns sweatdropped as she was laughing and then looked at her again. After she had finished laughing, he sighed as he held the hat in his hand. "Well, the hat was a gift from my mom Namir." Searching through his pockets, he pulled out his wallet and walked over to her and showed her a picture of his family. To the left of him was a red haired girl that was much more smaller than he was and almost matched his mother's size. The only one that seemed to be pretty tall was his father who had green hair. "This is the most recent picture of my family. The red haired girls are my mother Namir and my twin sister Lily. I know, it seems very strange though we should look like the way we do. I'm not really sure if anyone knows about our family though. On my father's side we are...different. My dad is able to turn into something like what his father has. I can do the same thing, but I look more like my grandfather than my father when I change."

"Well, the hat was a gift from my mom, Namir."

Elisa: Some gift.

(He pulled out a photograph and Elisa looked with...mild interest...until he saw how short his mother was. Okay, that was odd. Her mother was actually a bit taller than her father... She just sort of nodded at what he said further, right up until he said something about his father's side being different. He said he was going to change, sort of like his grandfather or something, which didn't make much sense to her. He was being too vague.)

Elisa: What do you mean, exactly?

(It caught her interest. She was looking at him curiously. Not...hanging on his every word, but she did kind of understand. Different for her meant...everything not Moonian. She was raised in another world, her father being a human/demon hybrid. Jake was different even unto his own kind. You don't get farther removed from normal than that. Sorns may not have been too dissimilar. At least in that respect...)

Elisa: And it's still a silly gift.

"I'm guessing you haven't seen our kind before. One moment please..."

Sorns started to look around and grabbed himself a chair and a trash can. Sitting down on the chair, he kept his head over the trash can as he spoke. "I don't want to track hair on the floor and it is hell to clean up when you have too much of it fall." Closing his eyes, he started to lose hair in a steady stream until he was completely bald. The skin on his body started to quiver and formed into deep red scales. The scales seemed to be much more rough along his arms than the rest of his body. The claws shot out of his fingers and showed a mix of obsidian color on top with the deep burgandy in color. Taking in a deep sigh, he raised his head to look at Elisa. "It's better to know now than in some awkward situation." He then looked at the hat as he smiled gently. "Well, my mom thought it was pretty cute and she wanted to get it for me. I just don't want to wear it all the time though. Sometimes I can feel her presence if I am out and about and she wants me to put the hat on." But even as he spoke, there was something off with him. There was something about his true form that seemed to give off a strange but subtle aura around him.

"I'm guessing you haven't seen our kind before. One moment please..."

(That was a distinct unlikelihood, seeing any of his kind. Let's just face it, she didn't know anyone who molted like that. It was kind of disgusting, even by lizard standards. Just what kind of family line was he a part of, anyway? Well, as he said, at least she was finding out now than at a time when things are a bit harsher in circumstance. Elisa had no doubt that if he came to her in that form, she'd probably flatten him, and then ask questions. There was something odd about it too, though she couldn't put her finger on it. His comment about the hat only brought forth a minor smirk at the moment.)

Elisa: Well, I've never seen a were-lizard in my life. Lemme guess, your father had a spot in Jurassic Park.

(She shook her head.)

Elisa: Am I gonna have to deal with any weird habits, like baking your brains out in the sun until you smell like an overripe steak?

(Really, she just wasn't sure how to deal with this guy. He wasn't so much a shock as a sort-of-interest...and maybe a problem. Besides, there was that weird feeling again. Sort of like a hidden aura, an energy she couldn't quite make out. She had one herself, but she couldn't readily see it. It was sealed without her knowledge. She'd have to ask about that later, or maybe...test him. Hell, she might have to RIDE his scaley ass like Dr. McNinja.)

"My dad would probably not get the part due to his scale color. Though my grandfather...."

He had been referring to what they both looked like. While his father had scales that were somewhat like sapphire blue, his grandfather would fit the bill with his own scales being emerald green. Raising a scaled "eyebrow", he smirked as he spoke to her. "I would be surprised if I smelled like a steak. Especially since this form usually absorbs more heat due to being red." And then he added as he gave her a side glance. "And no I am not going to get those heat lamps from restaurants to sit under, swipe a tanning bed from a salon or drag a huge rock for heating purposes." Satisfied with his range of things that would be considered "baking his brain". Looking at her curiously, he thought about asking the same thing about her as well. "What about you? Any quirks I should be aware of? Like moving furniture around in the early morning or something like sleep vaccuuming?"

"What about you? Any quirks I should be aware of? Like moving furniture around in the early morning or something like sleep vacuuming?"

(At first, she gave the lizard-boy a sidelong-glance that said "What the hell are you talking about?", but then she realized that there WERE a few things, a few habits she had. Poking at him suddenly in the nose, she spoke to Sorns, looking directly into his eyes with a harsh glare.)

Elisa: I get up when I feel like it and sleep when I feel like it...and nobody bothers me when I'm trying to sleep.

(She then pointed to the ceiling. The ceiling...which had not been paid much attention for the moment, now had one distinct feature about it. It was damaged, by a foot. By...Elisa's foot. She could probably do alot worse, like break through to the room directly above them, but she had not done so this time. Calmly, she explained the meaning of the damage.)

Elisa: That was a fly. Try not to be pest yourself, okay?

"Not a problem."

Wow, she is quite flexible.

Sorns was actually very impressed with how she had kicked without any sign of feeling any pain. He had almost thought of her being a slayer at one point. But then again that would not explain the cat ears. Though he did remember that both of his mothers had shifting abilities though his birth grandmother had a much higher control of her shifting abilities compared to his other grandmother. That was the mask of 1000 faces for you. Nodding his head, he sat down on the bed and sighed. "I think I need to spring for a new bed. I mean, I would think they would have got a bed a little bit bigger." Sorns was currently laying down on the bed while looking up at the ceiling. Most of his legs were now hanging over the bed. "I wonder if my dad can help with that. He always his his dad was pretty big."

"Not a problem."

Elisa: Good.

(That matter being settled, Elisa went over to fiddle with her iPod. For the record, it was a black little thing with clip-on earphones, since...you can't imagine regular headphones or ear-buds working for a Moonian at all. She put them on and then collapsed - back first - onto her own bed. This was turning out to be a weird day. First, she's bored, then nostalgic, then going fucking MAD, and now she has a roommate who turns into the Loch Ness Monster. She was just about to switch on the music when Sorns spoke.)

"I think I need to spring for a new bed. I mean, I would think they would have got a bed a little bit bigger. I wonder if my dad can help with that. He always his his dad was pretty big."

(That caught her attention for a moment as she noticed lizard-boy trying to use the bed. Oh dear god, that looked stupid... She let out a sigh, realizing that he was hopeless on his own, and stood up on the bed, crouching on it in perfect balance a second later.)

Elisa: So then, why not do something about it instead of moping about it? Honestly, if something pisses me off, I go kick its ass to make it right. You're a draconic beastie. DO something!

"I try not to hit something."

Sorns sighed as he looked up at the ceiling. If they are going to be roommates, he should be honest with her. "Have you ever had a voice in your head that told you to be indiscriminate in your attacks? I mean, really tear into someone. I've had that kind of voice since I was a kid. I'm trying to find ways to keep myself from going down that path. I have a feeling that if I do that, then I would lose myself completely. It was different for my father and my grandfather. I really think I have something in my head. I've been doing some research about it. My parents wouldn't tell me about it, so I took up much more reading to the point of my grandfather." He then showed her a book as he walked over to her. Several of the pages spoke about the dreams that he had and a crude drawing. It seemed to be an armor plated worm with massive lobster claws. It has two large eyes with one of them having several smaller ones. The mouth seemed to be massive when opened with a row of sharp fangs on the end. In the corner would be a symbol all too familiar to those who had seen it: a rune symbol. What he didn't know was the rune of Chattur'gha. "Besides, my parents and grandparents are busy. And I learned all too well to not interupt them during their...moments," he said with a shudder and sweatdrop.

"I try not to hit something."

(Alright, fair enough, but you have to follow the simple logic that Elisa subscribed to sometimes. If someone screws something up, they deserve to be hit. And when you DO hit them, they suddenly rectify their mistake and everything turns out better. It's just that in Elisa's case, force is something she likes to resort to. After all, is it not written in The Seven Habits of Highly-Effective Pirates. "Don't be afraid to be the first to resort to violence."? In any case, Sorns asked her if she ever felt urged on to violence, like voices in her head and all that. Elisa wasn't really sure of that, not really. Sitting down, she hung her head slightly, only half-paying attention to Sorns as she wondered about it. She only came back to reality after he made some mention of his family's...errrr...private moments.)

Elisa: I dunno if I have a voice, but a penchant for violence? Yeah, I have that.

(She leaned back on the bed, facing the ceiling and...not really looking at it.)

Elisa: Keep this under your hat, okay? Your roommate is recovering from a long grueling nightmare where she has almost nobody in the world to care for her and has killed ALOT because of it. That's another life, but...sometimes I wonder why.

(Then, a curious thought emerged in her head. She sat up and looked at that picture again. Yeah, that was it, wasn't it? That Andrew had a power that shined a rune like... Nah, it couldn't be...could it? Too much of a coincidence. But then again...)

Elisa: D'you know a guy named Andrew?

"Don't worry, I will honor your request."

Sorns nodded his head as he turned to the next page. This one showed many of the journal entries that he had created when he was younger. Unlike the last few pages, this one had several theories and formulas that he had wanted to test. "I know Andrew, he was the reason why I am the way I am." Taking a deep sigh, he told her what had happened. "You see, the Anicents tried to get their revenge on him through punishing the children of the future. First there was the cat girl, she kind of looked like you now that I think about it. Anyway, he was one of those kinds of guys who had "super sanity" and was able to lure her into his clutches. Then there was his daughter. She met this man who raped her mother and the psychological break was enough for her to be lost to that one. For me well...you see my mom was infused with this power. She became a were tiger like creature. But that wasn't the end. She was pregnant with me and my twin sister Lily when she got affected. All of its energy went into my body."

(Ah crap, she was right. She wasn't going to say anything more on the matter, just confirming a suspicion she had. Andrew was an...acquaintance, and not one she particularly liked. If he spotted her, she was in trouble, big-time. Fortunately, he wasn't a student. And furthermore, she knew that at least Som wouldn't just blab about her being here. Speaking of Som... At first, Elisa thought that Sorns might've been talking about some record of HER OWN exploits, but then she realized that this Anicent thing is what happened to Som, why she had that strange power and her powersuit changed. In any case, these Anicent creatures appeared to have some very strange abilities, and also...did this mean what she thought it meant? Elisa gave Sorns a quizzical look.)

Elisa: You mean you're from the future too?

(She wasn't going to add "like Som?" because she didn't want the instant tie. Best sometimes that things be left unsaid.)

"Well...yeah and no..."

Sorns had this expression that seemed to show signs of confusion as he looked at Elisa. He wasn't really sure how best to explain what had happened. "You see Elisa, I was born during in this time because both of my parents were also in this time as well. They had gone to the past for different reasons. I'm not really sure what they were and I do not plan on prying into it. If they were going to tell me, then they would have done so. Anyway, I was born about a couple of months after the whole business with the Anicents and my father had a taste of how much of a handful it was. Thankfully he was able to run as fast as he could so in case we were about to vomit or our diapers needed to be changed." He then sweatdropped again as he continued to speak. "Anyway, I was pretty young when this happened from what I had been able to tell from my uncles and aunts. My grandmother Seran was attacked by this creature. I don't recall much but I do know the fear in their eyes. They were afraid that the family was going to die and then this blue flash. The next thing I know something triggered within me. I changed into a blood red slayer and immediately started fighting the monster hard. Seeing my grandmother bleeding like that must have made me snap or something. I wanted to make that thing hurt like I was hurting, but only physically. I think I can only trigger like that when I feel like one of my own family get threatened. And believe me when I say that I do come from a massive family."

"Well...yeah and no..."

(Uh oh. Elisa knew this look. It was the expression of 'Long-Winded Explanation Time'. Before he continued, she held up a hand in a one-moment gesture, taking off he iPod and getting into knees-up-to-her-chin sitting position. Mostly to be comfortable, but also in case she freakin' nodded off out of disinterest. As she listened, though, a serious thought went into her head. Why DID people go back into the past? It was something she'd actually have to ask Som about, because the whole time-travel-loopy-existence problem was one that made her head spin. She had information on it, of course, theoretical stuff thanks to the Enclave. They regard it as an impractical science, largely unnecessary for a secret organization such as themselves. At the mention of vomit and diapers just then, Elisa's ears flattened in some annoyance, flashing Sorns a glare that expressed said attitude.)

Elisa: For the record, I don't like talking about puke and diaper-change. It's about as fucking wrong as the kid with a scab collection.

(And now you know one of Elisa's major turn-offs. Casual conversation about vomit and shit and stuff is not something she likes. Blood is different, of course. Blood and entrails and organs and violence - all THOSE things, she had a different view of. The aftermath, the things that happened long AFTER death, she never really liked to get into. The idea of festering rot and maggots and the like? Creepy. Elisa would HATE a necromancer.)

"...I think I can only trigger like that when I feel like one of my own family get threatened. And believe me when I say that I do come from a massive family."

Elisa: Family, huh? You wouldn't believe the sorts of things I've done, just because of that.

(The half-Moonian stared ahead, her eyes focusing on nothing. Her expression was less-stern then usual, more like...she was thinking about something complicated. And it was true. The subject of family for her was...very strange. Father dead...yet not dead. She accepted him solely on the basis of not knowing what else to do. Even after all that she'd done... Elisa remained silent, her thoughts elsewhere. Sorns could probably wave a hand in front of her now and she wouldn't even notice.)

"That sounds oddly familiar..."

As Sorns thought about Elisa's comment about the scab collection, something told him about one time in the past of his father and aunt. It had something to do in regards of a "corn flake" trap that he had done to his aunt when they were children. "My father and my aunt are pretty competitive. Then again, they had been born about the same time so it would have been why they were very aggressive." From his memory when he was a baby, he saw his father and aunt training in the dojo. Of the children, Mara and Istamu were the most combat oriented. They almost seemed to be able to match each other move for move with there being no clear winner. But then he looked at her as he shrugged. "I think I can understand where you come from. Though I don't think we did the same things. When it comes to my family, I am more than willing to fight for them." He then looked at her and began to wave his hand over her eyes curiously. "Are you alright Elisa? You seem to be lost there for a second."

(For the most part, the next part of the conversation was only heard subconsciously, as Elisa's mind had wandered off somewhat. This was ironic because Som had this tendency on occasion as well. The waving of Sorns' hand really didn't get her attention, as Elisa's expression was both glazed over and...slightly distressing. It was only when the Slayer spoke more directly that an ear twitched and she glanced over at him.)

"Are you alright Elisa? You seem to be lost there for a second."

Elisa: Er, yeah. I guess so.

(The afore-mentioned expression was that of a person mulling over disaster, a look of regret, worry, guilt. Elisa had been tense and agitated, though that was passing now. She felt that way at times, mostly because of the inescapable testimony that Jake had made. Her father was wrong, and to take revenge for his death was equally wrong. She'd tried to justify it in her mind, or at least let herself off easy, but her mind was built to recall facts, to know things indisputably. There was no delusion for her, now that her unbridled rage against humanity was snuffed. It was just as well that she lost Maelstrom, since she wouldn't even know what to do with it. Dropping her legs down from the previous position, she took her eyes off of Sorns, keeping them rooted to the floor instead.)

Elisa: I was just...thinking. My mind is built to review all pertinent information as needed. The accelerated process can burn out a psychic in a flash. Sometimes...it gets really involved. It has to...

(No exceptions, even if it's painful. Information at her fingertips, all comprehended at incredible speed. As a result, anything with emotional ties in it has incredible impact, and the subject of family was the deepest well of all. Elisa was putting up the strong act, but she was coming off as a bit grim. She let a distinct pause fill in before speaking again.)

Elisa: Hey, uhhh...Sorns?

(She looked at him now, her violet eyes a bit less stern than usual.)

Elisa: You can forget about Rule #1. If it looks important enough...wake me.

(Because she'd do alot better in life, not having to suffer through the nightmares...)

"Hm, you don't say."

Sorns was looking at her head when she told him that information. To him, the mind was something very intriguing to him. He had heard about how sometimes the mind can be able to do extraordinary things such as the realm of the psychics. Something told him that she might have had some connection with the psychic realm. However, the mind of the creatures he had been studying from also had some intrigue as well. Though not as developed as the other two were, their minds were several times more resilient to psionic influence. It was harder for them to be persauded mentally than a normal person. Now the question was if he could be able to manifest this skill into an ability. A skill to withstand any outside mental influence from trying to affect him too harshly mentally. He then looked at her with a curious expression. Something told him that she didn't seem to get a very good night's sleep. But he didn't press it. Everyone has bad dreams. "Alright, you have a deal."
