One class down and now it was time for the next one. Jin didn't exactly learn much at Special Powers class, but then again the teacher didn't get much of a chance to teach anything. Jin decided to chalk it up to being the first day. Anyways, Jin had received a notice from the school that the next class, Monster Studies, would be taking place today by the Forest. So Jin arrived at the forest and found himself alone. No teacher, no other students, no one. Blinking a few times in surprise, Jin scratched the back of his head as he looked around for anyone else. Jin:"Geez, do any of these teachers bother to be on time?" |

Ren slowly walked through the Forrest when he spotted a group, so he decided to that was were the class was so he took off at a run to the group and goes for a slide to stop only, his body stopped, his feet didn't so the classic, Charlies law of motion set in, if your feet drop out, your butt has to replace it, so he landed. Right on the seat of his pants. |

Drisk walked toward the forest. Inwardly, he was so euphoric over his first class at Anime High that even the constant putdowns of Marius couldn't bring him down. Outwardly, the only sign of this euphoria was a semi-large grin plastered onto his face. Ahead Drisk saw Ren, who appeared to be sitting down for some reas- no wait, yep, looks like Ren had tripped. Also by Ren was another student, one that Drisk had yet to have seen. The first thing that struck Drisk about this other student was his hair color. It was silvery, a lot like Drisk's was. Could he have the same abilities that Drisk did. No. Upon closer examination of the hair, Drisk noticed the absence of any colored dots, which meant that whatever powers this student posessed, it was highly unlikely base sculpting was on the list. Drisk strolled toward Ren and the other guy, assuming that the appearance of two other students indicated the spot where class would take place. Of course, there was a much easier way of telling other than just an assumption. "Hey Ren, wazzup. Hi umm.... dude. My name's Drisk Kayne, and I'm trying to adopt the nickname 'resident base sculptor', though it hasn't really seemed to catch on yet. Anyway.... is this where class is supposed to be?" |

Alleta hadn’t noticed she had followed the boy that blatantly walked to sit next to her to get her attention. No, she was too busy looking the drawing she had finished during the previous class, Special Powers. Alleta didn’t know what else to think about the class, but really hate it. It only showed what she did not want to be. One other reason to not want to be in classes was that she had to wear the school uniform. Alleta pulled at her skirt as she walked to where Monster Studies was supposed to be held. She was irritated with not being able to wear what she normally wore. The lack of a snowboard and her white kitten Fen could also be noticed missing. It made her feel naked and empty without these on her. Alleta had managed to lose Patricia from the Special Powers class. She had to go to her locker and retrieve her backpack. She hadn’t thought about bringing her notebooks or books, but she was more attuned with having her skateboard with her. If she wasn’t going to bring her snowboard she’d have something at least near to it. So in addition to her school uniform and sketch book she carried a boarders’ backpack with a skateboard attached on the back of it. This had made her feel more comfortable than she had in Special Powers class. It still didn’t completely shake off all feelings from Alleta. Alleta still was nervous as she managed to stand right next to Jin, the boy she had met in the other class. Alleta didn’t take notice to whom was standing next to her. She just stared intently at the drawing in a day dream expression. Then a loud thud right in front of Jin and Alleta took her attention away from the sketchpad she didn’t seem to keep secret. There lied before her was a spiked hair boy. It was common sense what just happened. The question was what had made him end up falling flat on his bottom? Little did Alleta know, was that this boy was at the gym the very day she was. Although, then he was in his mechanical form and she had been unconscious at the time. So, even if he did mention about the day, she wouldn’t have known what he did. Which in any case, it would make Alleta wary of the boy. Alleta pushed her long, golden brown hair behind her ears to lean forward with out her hair in her eyes. Her golden brown hues looked down at the boy who was on the ground. She held out a hand and spoke, “You alright dude? What happened? You slip on a banana.” Alleta chuckled from her joke she said to the boy as she offered a hand out to help him up. Alleta turned her head to look at the other boy who she’d seen out of the corner of her eye and until now hadn’t taken any interest. Her eyes widened seeing who it was. It was the boy from the previous class. She quickly looked away nervously still holding her hand out to help. "Hey Ren, wazzup. Hi umm.... dude. My name's Drisk Kayne, and I'm trying to adopt the nickname 'resident base sculptor', though it hasn't really seemed to catch on yet. Anyway.... is this where class is supposed to be?,” a voice on the other side of the boy Alleta was helping took Alleta’s attention. If you thought Special Powers class had upset Alleta, you’d be saying that was nothing. Her face was terrified as she recognized the silver hair and the boys face. Even though the boy she had seen in the gym had jet-black hair the face was the same. Alleta’s hand was not being held out anymore but her body was shaking. It’s him…that boy from the gym. Alleta started taking steps back and somehow found herself behind Jin. Somehow being behind him felt safer and besides, if he had wanted to get to know her here was his chance. He didn’t even have to put any effort for her to be touching him. Alleta stood behind Jin with one hand on his shoulder and peering over the other. She looked hoping she was dreaming and she would wake up, but she saw the boys face again and clenched Jin’s shoulder harder. Alleta held the sketchpad over the healing wound she had as if she could feel the pain that day she did. Where was Patricia when she needed her? She always felt very comfortable around her, heck at the gym she was willing to engage in battle for a total stranger. Patricia Winters was that stranger. Alleta whispered in Jin’s ear, “Please don’t let him hurt me again. I just want to make it through this school alive and in one piece so I can go back to being normal again.” Alleta peered over his shoulder looking at him now. |

It was class time! Once again, it would be the first for many things with Kotomi. Her first class in the Human Realm, her first meeting with such a large number of people her each in this realm, and meeting her first authoritative figure and teacher in this realm. She expected a lot of things to happen and she already knew that it was going to be much different than at home. She spent the majority of her school life at home where she was from due to the circumstances of her existence. But even that would be much different than school in another realm. It was going to be fun. And it that wasn't enough, Kotomi was had even brought her newest invention to class, just in case she got the chance to test it. It was a monster studies class and it was in the forest. There were bound to be something she could use it on right? The invention, of course, was a unique and odd one. Chili con Combat was what the device was called. What did it do? Well, the other students would find out once she got a chance to test it out. And so, dressed in the school's uniform for the first time. But her uniform and invention wasn't all that she brought. No, Kotomi needed something just in case thing got boring and she couldn't test her invention. And that was that? Her headphones! No teen would dare not to have a pair and Kotomi, even in this realm, had found something that she liked to listen to. And so, as she walked through the forest, her headphones blasting Chain, while she headed toward the small group that was already there, she smiled, eager to see that exactly was going to happen. |

The forest... A place that Adara felt very comfortable in. Everything about her seemed to be relaxed. Her stride had much more of a calm step to them, her smile was still apparent on her face. Even her ears and tail seem to be very relaxed. Sniffing the air around her, she sat down next to the boy that she sat by in the special powers class. Wondering, she had been contemplating about the monster studies class and what it would do. Her mind had been on what kind of creatures they would be dealing with. Meanwhile, an all too familiar face appeared. It seemed to be Athena, the pink haired slayer that she had encountered a while back. The long pink hair swayed in the wind as she kept her back to a tree. "Hmm...I wonder what they are going to be doing for this class." |

God... I've been wanting to do this so badly... The arm was out of the sling. He would be starting back to work next week, back to actually doing something greater than just being some random student at this campus. Though the conversation with Brian had opened him up more toward liking AHS, Special Powers Class turned out to be a disaster. Whether Ryu had reformed his ways or felt sorry for the people who's lives he had ruined did not matter. He was simple to say a terrible teacher and furthermore only an example of what not to do in Trinis's mind. For instance, Trinis held absolutely no plans about staying around AHS once he graduated. Applications to Princeton, Harvard and Oxford had all been sent out, and any week now he could be hearing back from them. It would be like going home... and Mim would certainly follow him. The thrill of old times in London brought a smile to his face, but today's method of getting to class was what put the joy in his heart. For five weeks he'd been waiting, nay, begging to do this. Though it required his anger to activate, the flight ability Trinis had recently discovered had only gotten limited use before his arm had been smashed to all hell. Today though, today he would soar. Alright, focus Trinis... got to find some block head or something to be angry about to trigger this... Ryu and AHS flooded his mind. His own hope for AHS had been something like that nameless student had described, a sanctuary and neutral ground where students could grow safely and quietly away from the horror of the world around them. To the teacher, AHS was simply about making students stronger... essentially a weapons breeding ground. Sabin might as well have posted up a recruiting sign right outside the front gate with how Ryu spoke of AHS. That was not what he'd volunteered to defend... It happened in the next instant. His body's energy pushed itself against the earth out of spite, causing the earth to push back with equal force. He bounded straight up off the ground, school clothing back pack and all... over a hundred feet into the air in just a couple seconds. With this new scornful focus, Trinis directed his path to start flying toward the forest. A couple minutes later Not that it took long to reach the forest when one can fly, but it was rather annoying to make attempts at spotting the class. The back of his mind was currently angry due to not bringing any weapons. Last visit to the forest had introduced Trinis, Brian and Yang to some very nasty Trolls. Hopefully a class full of people could handle that, and this damned teacher better have a grip on reality... He'd found the gathering of students at this point, and was going to start a nice slow descent down until he heard a female student's voice... "Please don’t let him hurt me again. I just want to make it through this school alive and in one piece so I can go back to being normal again." Body and mind reacted without hesitation. Instead of landing away from the group, Trinis used not just gravity but his own energy pushed against the heavens to drop him faster. Quite literally within the blink of an eye, he had to flip that energy to slow and stop his descent from crushing him like a pancake. In the meantime, the physical effect was that a student literally dropped out of the sky with roughly five feet between Alleta and Drisk. He hovered for a moment roughly a foot off the ground, his school uniform still wavered from forces pushing it around like there was a wind. However, there was no wind... no sign of him doing anything at all other than slowly touching down while giving a cold stare in Drisk's direction. "Is there a problem here?" |

Ota was still wandering the school grounds when he came noted the forest. Ota had a feeling of forboding coming from it but for some reason he walked towards slowly to not attract attention to himself. Ota wondered if he should try to fly over and land but he didn't know the trees well and he could risk crashing. Something had suddenly caught his eye. Apparently there were other going into the forest as well. Ota now incredibly curious decided to go in. Ota had heard from the explanations from the lady that going into the forest was forbidden and very dangerous to 9th graders. "Hmm...chances are those people are in a higher grade. It wouldn't necessarily be breaking rules if I...followed them there?" thought Ota as he quickened his pace to catch up. The forest was similar to the ones of his tribe though he felt a bit disturbed by it at the same time as if something was trying to spook him. He shook this off and continued to follow. Suddenly the man who he had been tailing took of in the air. Ota legs quickly transformed and he sped off just a ways behind to not raise suspicion or resentment. Ota didn't seem to have to worry though as the man seemed to be having other things on his mind. The man almost seemed to dive which made Ota almost lose him. Ota slowed his pace and landed behind a tree with a small poosh. He looked at all the new faces but didn't do anything but grinned like a jack-o-lantern. |

The addition of a student with the power to fly didn't surprise Drisk too much. He'd seen many different powers in the very short time he'd been at AHS, and by this time flying didn't seem quite as unreal as it had before his arrival. The grin that had just recently adorned his face had vanished, a look of sorrow and guilt replacing it. One of the people from the gym, from that day. Damn it Marius, just damn it. Am I fated to become an enemy with everyone I meet? That's right, you can't escape me, you'll never be able to. Sighing, Drisk looked at Alleta. She'd been hit with the knives Marius had made twirl through the air during the snowstorm. People had been hurt, and could have died because Drisk was too weak, unable to grasp control of his own mind. "I'm... I'm sorry about the gym" Drisk began. "The easiest thing for me to do would be to just blame Marius, the one who took control of me in the gym. But it's my fault for letting him get out. If I could have kept him locked up in my mind, nothing that happened that day in the gym would have happened. I'm a dangerous person to be around, having a murderous persona in my head, giving me morbid suggestions, trying to take over. I never should have done something that would allow him to clench onto my mind, not when there were other people in the gym. So once again, I'm sorry." Drisk saw a tree stump and slumped onto it. Great, at my old school I was in danger because of my being a meta-human. But now that I'm around other meta's, I am the danger. |

Ren ignored the commotion, that was going on around him he even ignored the Drisk kid and Fly boy. He stood up, mechanical, some were in his eyes though a hint of emotion flickered in. "You will one day need to learn to protect yourself. One day, no one will be there to save you, you better teach yourself how to fight." He said coldly. He walked to a tree, and leaned on it. What ever emotion the surfaced. was squished by the coldness of his own voice. It was like he was auto pilot, and he was, ignoring life it self, he sounded hollow, inhuman. |

Upon arriveing at the entrance to the forest, Merin looked around for a teacher, Or escourt. Finally a small sroup of students passed by, So following briskly behind he entered the forest. Looking at his watch he relized that he was about 5 minutes late... Hopeing that possibly his watch was wrong he made his way into the gathering area, Ready with any excuss he had to give. After a few minutes the feeling eased and he started to contemplate the sort of studies that might be held here. Then once again chilled by the tense atmosphere... This was obviously not going to be an easy class. |

Ota looked at the two men who had moved. One of them seemed saddened while the other seemed cold. Still he decided to ignore this. Everyone of them their seemed to know who everyone was. But Ota was oblivious to the case. He walked up to one of the boys on the tree stump with a smile. He calmly tapped his shoulder to get his attention. "Hello there! My name is Ota. Ota Kune. You seem distressed about something. Can you tell me what it is? Or at least your name?" He waved to the new arrival of another student as he waited for an answer. |

Before Jin even knew what had happened, he was surrounded by students who pretty much came out of nowhere. The first who arrived seemed to be kinda clumsy, falling on his ass as he ran over. Jin had no idea who he was, but that wasn't too surprising, Jin didn't know most people after all. The next person who walked over referred to the clumsy kid as Ren and introduced himself as Drisk Kayne, resident base sculptor, whatever that was. Jin:"Uhh, heya, I'm Jin Miyamoto, nice to mee-." Jin's sudden pause was caused by Alleta suddenly getting behind him, seemingly hiding from Drisk. Was she scared of this Drisk guy? Jin felt like he had missed something. Looking over his shoulder, he found himself face to face with Alleta, and being that close to her actually made him nervous. He started to blush becoming a little flustered having never actually gotten that close to a female before. That's when she whispered into his ear. “Please don’t let him hurt me again. I just want to make it through this school alive and in one piece so I can go back to being normal again.” Jin couldn't help but how cute Alleta was, getting distracted from the matter at hand. He got focused and had to wonder what the hell went on between these two that made the cute girl who's name Jin still hadn't learned hide behind him, like she was fearing for her life. Jin:"I'm guessing something happened between you two? This guy doesn't particularly look like the violent type..." The next interruptions came from above, not once, but twice. The first was Trinis who had somehow overheard Alleta's whisper to him. The next was...also from above? Hurtling through the sky was a figure, flipping gracefully through the air before landing in the middle of the group. The first thing the students would notice about him was the fact he was wearing a Power-Ranger/Sentai/Kamen-Rider-ish mask. The other was the fact that he was impeccably dressed, wearing an incredibly expensive looking suit. In his hand was a briefcase, made of the finest leather money could buy. After looking over the students silently, the man began to speak. "Greetings students, I assume from your gathering that you are here for the Monster Studies Class? Well, I am the teacher for that class. My name? Koji Kanemoto, but you may call me Kamen Teacher." |

Drisk turned his head toward the person who had tapped his shoulder. The person looked friendly and overly-cheery, reminding Drisk a little of himself when he wasn't being reminded of his curse. "It's nothing you need to be concerned about" Drisk said a little quitly, attempting to put on a smile but not able to change the look of sorrow in his eyes. "My name's Drisk Kayne, and I'm relatively new here. In fact, this is my first official class at AHS. Unfortunately, I have a knack for being responsible for other's near-deaths, and with very few exceptions people seem to get hurt around me. Anyway.. how long have you been here?" |

Patricia rushed thru several hallways of the Mori building, in a hurry and skimming people's frames. Where the hell had gone Alleta to? She mentioned something about going to her locker, but she was damn late now. They could miss next class, Monster Studies. The teacher had managed to mention something about it, but she trusted the schedule she made during the weekend more than the words of a man that acts more like a student than she does herself. She had missed Alleta's words explaining the reason for the locker room and that they would meet in the forest, where the class had been appointed, so she was franctically searching for the brown haired lass all over the place. Luckily, she knew AHS pretty well thanks to her recurrent misturns during her first days. After quickly passing by all probable places where her friend could have gone to after the first class, she decided heading to the forest on her own. The blond papermaster walked into the forest following a bee-line of students. Some of them were running, others were... flying? Well, this was AHS so that was cool. A group was already present in the middle of a clearing, where the one that had started off into the sky landed abruptly. Her blues hinted her it was someone from the class she had just attended, but she couldn't find his name. She had been very distracted in her own thinking during that class. As a matter of fact, her mind didn't find any trace of actual learning back there... weird. That was when she saw Alleta, holding someone... the same boy that had interupted them. What was with boys interrupting them? As Patty began her march towards her only friend, she noticed the face on the brown haired girl. Alleta was terrified. Just like when she had been hiding during the first attack of the black haired boy. It didn't take her long adding two plus two, He was a student at AHS after all. Following the girl's eyes, Patricia's own grew large and her expression shifted to a more agressive one. The white/green haired by was there, ten feet in front of them. That day at the gym, there had been over 15 feet between them and Alleta had been terribly injured. Dropping the handle of her case to the ground, the blonde lass began a short run towards her sister in pain. Several things cursed thru her mind. Had he done anything, again?! His hair was white still. Maybe he had activated his powers without shifting? She had no idea of how the boy's powers worked so she could only ponder. There were many people here, and it was rather an unlikely thing for noone to do something about an unjustified attack. Then the boy backed off and retreated from the clearing. Patricia missed entirely his explanation on the matter... butshe didn't care about it either. Alleta was the matter. Her hands reached for the tall girl and gently took her by the shoulders, to give her some security. Patricia had an idea on Alleta's posture towards battles, and therefore wouldn't comment a word on this, at least now. Patricia: "Are you ok, Alleta? Let's... ummm... go there..." Absentmidly leading the girl away from Jin, she motioned for them to move to the trunk of a fallen tree that would serve well as seats. The uniform was already uncomfortable enough for them to sit on the ground. Edited by katzkat1083, Jul 2 2008, 09:05 AM.

"Me? Oh I just registered. My classes don't start yet until the net day. I just decided to come in." Ota smiled back at Drisk warmly still. He sensed great distress emenating from the boy as he spoke. Ota's smile hadn't changed as he talked to him "Also...whatever your trouble is...just let it go. Accidents happen and People die all the time on this planet. It is....natural to feel saddened by events as this...but time heals many things. To let your sadness over take you won't do you or anyone good. If you must do something then use the energy sulking to do something productive." Ota then blinked and covered his face laughing suddenly. " I am sorry...I suppose its kinda strange for some stranger you just met to be telling you advice. I sometimes voice my opinions too....straight forward and without thinking . Forgive me. " Ota gave a small apologetic bow to Drisk. He sat net to him on the ground noting the arrival of another female. He waved politely to her as he taked to drisk. "Only you decide your path....Also can ask you a question? I've given other people advice on things and they call me this.."Yoda-person...do you know what they're talking about" |

Drisk fell over backward from his stump. He couldn't help but laugh at what Ota had just said, really deep laughs that contrasted his mood just a few seconds before. After he'd managed to stop, he got back onto the stump, brushed the dirt off his back, and faced Ota. While hints of sadness still lingered in his face, the smile was now genuine, and he said in a very friendly manner "you don't keep up with current cinema, or old cinema for that matter, do you? Yoda is from a science fiction movie called Star Wars. Yoda is a green, wrinkly midget who gives vague, cryptic advice. And I don't mind your opinion, it's probably actually helped. Thanks." It was true. In his mind, Marius was swearing at him, insulting him, threatening him, and saying everything he'd do once he got control. None of it mattered to Drisk, it was all just talk and Drisk felt too good at the moment to care what Marius said. It was turning out to be a good class after all. |

Ota looked at Drisk confused. He didn't understand why he was laughing and he scratched his head puzzled. He began looking at himself and feeling his face. "I'm.......not wrinkly...or green..." Ota still looked puzzled but was glad that Drisk was smiling again. "Well I come from a tribe...and even when I moved to the cities I wasn't really introduced to many movies. In any case I'm glad you appreciate it. Just take it to heart." Ota looked at the others and then looked at the teacher. He looked on at everyone and wondered what their abilities were. He slowly shivered with ecitement in finding out *EDIT:(OCC: Sorry for short post computer keeps conking out on me) |

(Now, she hadn't joined the group immediately, and it was because of this... There was a bit of training to be done while waiting for the teacher to show up. This was one of those occasions where she was in a better mood, higher spirits, and not very tired. In those cases, you would find Elisa much more energetic and involved in things. Yes, it was Elisa who was in this class as well. Why, you might ask? Because her father signed her up for all of them. He was trying to prove a point or something... It didn't matter. The catgirl had decided to have a bit of fun with this class. She was dressed in forest camou-gear, and was stalking their movements via quick movements among the trees. She wouldn't be seen, not while they seemed to be bickering amongst themselves, acting like one big easy target. In this way, she picked up that there was friction between the numbers. They would never be able to act as a complete group that way. Pity...for them. Elisa noticed that the half-kitsune girl was here too. She wondered how that girl would react to a sudden...surprise. Maybe another time. Anyway...the teacher soon appeared. A...decidedly weird one.) "Greetings students, I assume from your gathering that you are here for the Monster Studies Class? Well, I am the teacher for that class. My name? Koji Kanemoto, but you may call me Kamen Teacher." Elisa: The assumption is correct, however... (That voice more or less came from above them all as Elisa dropped down behind the teacher, dressed in camouflaged clothing that gave her the sort-of appearance of a Genome Soldier from Metal Gear Solid. Actually, she might've seemed more like the VG Cats version, but...that's not important right now. She was glaring at the teacher's back with her violet eyes, looking slightly amused by his appearance and mannerisms.) Elisa: Leaving your students to mill about, unprotected, is a good way to let said monster-for-study attack and kill them. And since they weren't exactly trying to keep a low profile, I'm surprised that nothing tried to get at them. You should've been here on time... (She began to eye the other students here, her evil smile somewhat visible underneath the mask.) |

Out of the corner of his eye, Merin saw another student waveing at him, Or at least in his direction, So to be safe he waved back. He walked farther into the gathering area, And finally found himself in the middle of... Well everyone. "Ok, Good! youve walked up to them... Now... Say somthing?" looking up, Speaking to no one in particular he said, Merin:Hello, He then starts to look around to see whom if anyone would reply. |

"I wouldn't say completely unprotected." The voice came from Sorns Togami Orteal as he looked at the teacher with what seemed to be a puzzled expression. He remembered his aunt saying that she had an appearance like that. However, he has yet to see her actually utilize such a form. Looking at the teacher, he bowed calmly as he looked at him. "I apologize for being a little late, I was taking care of some family business," he said with kind voice. Taking a seat, Adara stared at him wide eyed simply because of the gigantic size of the man. She knew her father was pretty tall and her god father was pretty tall himself. But this man could actually dwarf them both. Athena looked at him and then at the teacher. She wasn't going to say anything, but she had a feeling that he was one of the slayers. There was something about the way he was that she couldn't put her finger on however. |

Merin finally sits down, And decides not to say anything else unless the teacher was to ask. After sitting down, He couldent help from looking into the darker areas beyond the gathering area... A cold tense feeling came over him. Finally breaking his gaze he looked expectantly in the dierection of the apparent teacher. "So... This is not the "Safest" area for a class, And I have nothing to grab if I should have to defend myself. Interesting situation." Finally relaxing just enough to rest his mind, He readies his mind for the subject of study. ((OOC:Terribly sorry, I couldve just added this to my last post.)) |

Ota gave a wary eye to the new cat lady who had come in. Ota guessed that since she was so formal to the teacher that she must be a teacher as well. Ota also found the girl attractive for some reason. Maybe his love for cats would drag on towards feline type creatures. Still the female seemed to be dressed oddly which led Ota to believe that either t was to make herself unseen or her fashion sense was lacking(Not that he could talk.) Ota then heard another voice as another man had shown up. Ota was surprised at how big he was him being barely 4'5 in height. The man seemed to be kind and he sensed no ill-will from him....at least not yet. Ota looked in awe at him for a while before snapping back to his senses. "Well....we have some interesting teachers here to be sure" said Ota, looking upon all of them with a smile that seemed eerie in the dark. He noticed another boy who seemed notice but decided to not bother him as of yet and he looked on, wondering if anyone else would be coming. |

If it hadn’t been for being hunched over, Alleta would have noticed she had a good five inches above Jin. If anyone were to be looking, they would wonder why she had chosen to hide behind a shorter person than she. It probably was a dumb mistake in any case. Perhaps, in time learning from mistakes would drill into her head. For the time being, she was the natural run-away type of gal. "I'm guessing something happened between you two? This guy doesn't particularly look like the violent type...,” the boy spoke back to her. Alleta would have replied, but Drisk had managed to get words in before her, "I'm... I'm sorry about the gym…So once again, I'm sorry." A flow of sorrow traveled the air. The vibrations carried them to Alleta’s ears and rang her ear drums. What was she to do? He didn’t seem to sound like he did the other day. No, the hair was different. It was like when she first had seen him, but what had made him change? What had caused it to turn jet-black in just a matter of seconds and murderous? Alleta could not piece the picture together nor did she really want to put any effort into it. The boy was a crazed meta-human and that was it. It seemed like nothing was going to be normal again. Why couldn’t they all just loose their powers? Then they could be just natural human beings who could find something they loved to do and pursue it. Wasn’t that what everyone else wanted? The golden-brown hues drifted away back to the side of Jin’s facial features as Drisk shuffled away from view. Alleta was still on edge with him being there and still showed signs in her eyes. If Drisk hadn’t explained enough, Alleta would have thought the boy was just as dumb as a box of rocks. Although, she did think that boys were like that simile. Boys had to always bring up fights on matter what. A power trip, ego booster, or just plain trying to impress the ladies was out right outrageous. If they were willing to throw themselves for a little boost to boast about, then why not throw it into something that was actually useful. For example, Alleta didn’t fight, but put all effort into being the greatest snowboarder (well best female snowboarder). She was already on the rise for that, but was stuck here having to cope with being a meta-human of which she still refused to accept. Poor girl still doesn’t have the heart to be proud of whom she was. A light breeze blew across the area the student body was sprawled across. Jin’s white hair managed to tickle Alleta cheek which resided quite close to the boy. The brown globes drifted to see the white locks brush against her cheeks softly. She hadn’t been this close to a boy for a while. It really hadn’t bothered her too much until now. At home, she was always with the boys. It was natural to her that being this close to a boy. Friendships didn’t have to be awkward. Friendships could also mean that two people, even if they were a boy and girl, were able to bond with touching. Don’t you remember when you were a little kid, when a boy and girl played together in what you might have it a sand box! It was all the same to Alleta, not this mumbo jumbo crap about ‘Oh my god, are they flirting? They must be together? They have to be, look how they mingle? That’s gotta be a couple.’ No, Alleta knew the true meaning of friendship and never left the chance behind to make new ones. Students were popping in left and right and even from above. Alleta had missed as she took in the feeling of Jin’s hair bristling across her face. It reminded her oh too much about a certain someone. A strange feeling struck her and made her heart pump faster. Suddenly she felt awkward and upset. Inside she hurt terribly as she struggled to push the feeling of depression away. Why did these feelings have to come back? She didn’t want to find herself miserable every night again. Alleta pulled away from Jin quickly and stood fully erect. Only did she now notice that she was a good distance taller than he was. She could see other students’ faces while seeing the top of his head as well. The only thing she could manage to explain everything was to show Jin quickly before class started. A strange man in a suit appeared and spoke to catch everyone’s attention. Alleta took advantage of this and pulled away at her uniform. If Jin had noticed, on the white part of their uniform he would notice a few splotches of blood stains. Underneath her uniform top a large healing wound with stitches could be seen at her side, “Is that enoUGGHH!” A tug at her arm had startled the young brown haired lady. At that moment a sketch pad hit the ground nearby Jin. It fell with the picture of a guy facing upward at Jin. It was very well sketched and depicted a shaggy haired boy with very soft, kind, attractive eyes with a hint of mystery to him. It was well etched giving an observer that this particular boy was somewhat an interest to the girl. Before anything could be said or even done Alleta was being led quickly to a tree trunk that was over a ways. Being so shocked from the sudden movement, the notice of a missing notebook hadn’t been taken noted yet. The bag with the skateboard was un-shouldered and put down on the ground in front of the two. Alleta hadn’t taken into account what Monster class would be like. The very name was a good reason for her to stay away. Then, as she was searching she noticed the notebook was gone. Her eyes darted a look to Jin and found it lying on the ground by him. She became nervous noting that he might pick it up and look, but it also made her feel nervous because the feeling of missing something was awkward. It all just seemed like a terrible day for Alleta. Everything that made her miserable seemed to hit her like a brick wall. What was she to do with all this stress? For one thing, it wasn’t helping her attention in class. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to recite anything that they might have had to read before coming to class. Even if the notebook was a miss, the gentle touch of Jin’s hair was something else. It made her remember the day at the gym even more. The image of being at the mountain with the mist surrounding it portrayed in the back of her mind like she was in a movie theatre. ”I’m alive, I promise you I’ll be back… If Patricia were looking, she would have seen a very dazed out gal looking as if she were going to burst from the stress that was being put on her. Alleta wasn’t ignoring Patricia and didn’t want to portray that to her new found friend, but man was she going through a lot. What was a girl to do with so much to think about? Was she going to be alright tonight going home to Fen? Would Fen only keep reminding her about home and that horrible accident? If that happened, would Fen be safe to be even around Alleta in her state? So many things at once were buzzing around that if someone were to have her thoughts flying around, they would be able to read because they were overlapping each other. A tear dripped from the eyes opposite of Patricia where she couldn’t see. You promised…why aren’t you here to help? Alleta was not as fortunate as Drisk having a good day. Oh, no she was having a horrible day. |

Jin hadn't noticed how much taller Alleta was until she stood up straight. Jin had only seen her sitting down before as is. Anyways, Jin felt Alleta quickly pull away, surprising Jin with how suddenly she pulled away. Turning around, he had a confused look on his face when he happened to notice the blood stains on her uniform. That kinda caused some alarm with the young shapeshifter. However, before Jin could voice this concern, Alleta was pulled away by that girl from before. Jin could not help but think he was cockblocked. Some folks may have desired simple boy/girl friendship, but the thing is, Jin was a teenage boy and until the chemical maelstrom known as puberty came to an end (or at least calmed down), Jin would desire the goodies of the opposite sex above just about all else. Anyways, Alleta had been pulled away and Jin had been left with his proverbial wang in his proverbial hand, so to speak. No real biggie since Jin was easy-going like that. He shrugged and was about to turn to see what the teacher was talking about when he noticed the notebook on the ground. Blinking, he looked around for who it could've belonged to before picking it up and looking at the sketch on the front. It was really good and it was obvious whoever drew it put a lot of effort into it. So, Jin started to wave it around, trying to find who dropped it. Jin:"Uhh, did anyone drop a notebook?" Kamen Teacher shot a glance at Elisa, or at least that's what it looked like. At least, he turned his head towards Elisa and looked at her anyways. It was hard to tell what the guy was feeling considering any emotion his voice held was somewhat muffled by the helmet and the obvious matter of his face being hidden by the mask. KT:"Late? No, I've been waiting here for the last several hours, preparing for class. Why -do- you think nothing has attacked all of you, despite the noise and commotion? Just because you cannot see something or someone does not mean it is not there." Kamen Teacher briefly scanned the faces of his students before continuing. KT:"Now, a brief explanation of this class' purpose. This world possesses a great deal of danger, much of it in a non-humanoid form. While other classes will teach you how to use your powers without being a threat to the safety of those around you or how to be responsible members of the global community, this class will teach you about creatures most of the world has forgotten and how to deal with them. For this class, what you wear is fine, but next time I allow and encourage you to wear more comfortable clothing as odds are likely we will do a lot of hiking through this forest and odds are you will get dirty and/or wet." ooc-Sorry, I meant to actually get some class related stuff in today, but I am just fucking exhausted and was barely able to focus enough to get this post in. Maybe next post or next Monster Studies Class x__x-ooc |

Gonna be late................Gonna be late Blue rambled on and on in his head. How could I possibly be late.......I'm a speedster for christ sake Blue smacked himself on the forehead and kept up his blinding pace toward the meeting place in the forest. Being late was the only thing on Blue's mind and he ran toward the forest. Wind whipped across his body while he concentrated on not running straight into a tree or tripping on a rock or something. The image of a blue blur falling and rolling along the ground, all because of a small pebble crawled into Blue's mind and made him laugh to huimself slightly. Coming up on a clearing in the forest that seemed to be filled with a variety of students. All of whom Blue had never even laid eyes on before. Blue skidded to a stop. He had arrived just in time to spot a nicely dressed man float from the sky. "Greetings students, I assume from your gathering that you are here for the Monster Studies Class? Well, I am the teacher for that class. My name? Koji Kanemoto, but you may call me Kamen Teacher." Blue looked him up and down, stood up straight and fixed his slightly messy clothes. Ran his hand quickly threw his long spiked out blue hair. For this class, what you wear is fine, but next time I allow and encourage you to wear more comfortable clothing as odds are likely we will do a lot of hiking through this forest and odds are you will get dirty and/or wet." Damn.......I didn't even have to wear my school uniform.....oh well....... Blue looked himself up and down I look good He smiled to himself and peered at the other students. Some of the them seemed to have beef with each other. Some seemed as though they had better things to do. Blue decided right then and there that he would hang back and not draw to much attention to himself. He hadn't even try to introduced himself. the just watched the rest of the class |

"I wouldn't say completely unprotected." Elisa: ! (As far as surprises went, the Genome Soldier-esque Elisa was now registering somewhat as she looked to find her gargantuan roommate stepping into the area. How the hell did he do that for being so damn big? Slayer, yes, but he was one of those huge guys you see working for Mafia men for crying out loud! This left her to deal with the teacher himself, who explained all but briefly that his sentai butt wasn't inactive the whole time. Well, if that was the case, then Elisa had no problem. She was only teasing the guy anyway. Shrugging at his answer, he let him get on with his duties.) "Now, a brief explanation of this class' purpose. This world possesses a great deal of danger, much of it in a non-humanoid form. While other classes will teach you how to use your powers without being a threat to the safety of those around you or how to be responsible members of the global community, this class will teach you about creatures most of the world has forgotten and how to deal with them. For this class, what you wear is fine, but next time I allow and encourage you to wear more comfortable clothing as odds are likely we will do a lot of hiking through this forest and odds are you will get dirty and/or wet." Elisa: Now this...I expected. (And she didn't just mean the bit about attire.) Elisa: First classes usually end up being lesson plans and intro stuff. That's the way they always work. (What she did NOT expect was the thing that happened NEXT. From the forest, there was a brown-haired fellow with silver eyes in what looked like leather hunting gear and such walking into the area. Some would recognize him right off, such as Adara, while others just wouldn't know at all. He'd been watching too, though since he'd been in human form, he wouldn't have garnered much attention towards himself from the teacher while he was out and about. Now, however...Ray Devorak wanted a word or two.) Ray: If you'll allow it, I could be of some assistance in the future, Kamen Teacher. An extra pair of eyes or...act as an Exhibit A? (As a joke, he briefly manifested his wolfish fangs and grinned before returning completely to normal again. Ray was a graduate of AHS and he lived out here. Who knows? Maybe he could be of use. That depended in what the masked man thought of it.) |

He rather them get on with it, enough wasting his time. He then looked at the back, And one of the kids was trying to stay hidden, Well not really the easiest thing to do with him around, but he didn't say anything his eyes the started to scan other people's faces.
