"Nah you go right ahead and eat, girl." Gojairu said, smiling as her friend was eager to eat, and her as well. Nakaori was busy at the moment, chatting with his guests, he looked over to Gojairu with a pleading gesture. "Haha..I should go make sure they dont eat my old man." Gojairu said and split off from the group, heading over to her dad to hear old boring stories and the like. Pose for pictures and such.

"So...wanna eat?" Gin asked.

"Uh, chyeah! Most definitely! All this standing around the press and junk has made me ravenous!" Rinji exclaimed, heading to the buffet immediately and stockpiling herself with plates of potatoes, corn, steak, salad, fruit, and of course, more Japanese dishes like Teriyaki ,soup noodles, traditional fried appetizers and even sushi!

The woman, of course, was feeding the animal side of her, and she got quite a few stares at all the food she managed to pile onto her plates and put in front of herself. The woman never really considered it rude at all or in the slightest unnerving. If anything, Rinji just thought that it should be more of a compliment! She laughed at Gin, wondering if the woman could eat just as much as she could and survive to tell the tale.

"I can't be blamed," Rinji stated to her new friend. She blew some purple bangs out of her eyes as they found seats and she began to organize her plates. "And I don't feel bad at all either. I'm starving and I'm proud! Plus, I don't care if I ever fit into this dress again! Besides, hopefully this marriage thing will be a one time thing for Gojairu's dad now and he won't have to have another wedding. Then I might be a little too happy if the food will be like this again!"

"Heh, but of course. No need to justify your actions to me." Gin said smirking. "You have a piggy form too, huh? Hehehe, you look like Riko when she eats."

"Look like who when she eats?"

Gin spun around in shock at the voice, and there behind her, in a red one shoulder dress with a large crimson bow in the back, her hair done up nicely, and a tinge of makeup on....was the lead singer of Neon Flow, and Gojairu's ex girlfriend, Riko.

"R-r-ri?!!!" Gin shouted, that being perhaps the most flustered she'd been all night.

"Yeah yeah, Riko's here, really scary." She said rolling her eyes. "My dad worked with Nakaori for awhile, and I guess we got invited. He's off schmoozing." She explained, sipping her glass of sparkling cider. "Oh right, your a producers daughter." Gin said grinning, earning a glare from Riko.

"Yeah, so what..." Riko huffed. "And dont think I forgot about what happened before you left, Gin...that conversation still needs to-"

"W-well! I'm gonna run off and get some drinks for me and Rin." Gin said, dashing off quickly, one could almost smell a bit of embarassement from her.

"Gin!...Honestly!" Riko huffed, blushing, then turned to face Rinji, "so enjoying your time so far?" She asked, obviously meaning the trip and the party, a hint of bitterness in her voice.

Rinji looked back and forth guiltily as the two of them spoke, knowing that she couldn't really add anything to the conversation at all. She only knew a little bit about the newcomer before her, and definitely nothing she could piece together now that her mind was on food. Looking to and from, and with Gin's sudden departure, Rinji was totally caught unawares when Riko asked her question, as it was apparent from the chicken leg she had in her mouth.

The young woman swallowed as delicately as possible, wiping her mouth a bit before offering a weak smile. "Heh...sorry about that. I am enjoying the trip a whole lot, but it is a bit tiring. I'm definitely not used to seeing people all around like this at some huge shebang! I'm usually kinda...chillin'. I don't mind it at all, of course, but it's definitely a life style that I'm not sure if I could get used to. There might be too much action, too much heat! I don't think I could take the press always shoving their faces in my biz."

Rinji took a drink of water before continuing. "But hey, what about you? How are you doing? Are you enjoying your time?"

After a moment's pause, she said genuinely, "I like your dress. It's a nice colour!"

Riko shrugged, "When your dads a ceo of a record company you really dont have much choice...but I suppose I like being here." She said, sipping at her cup to avoid smiling at Rinji's compliment. "Thank you." She said passively. She then looked over at Gojairu, who at the moment was giving her sister greif by huggling her for pictures. "Heh...guess we all have the famous parents thing in common, to be honest I'm jealous they struck out on they're own so easily despite they're situations..." She then sighed, "I should go before Gin gets back." She said turning away. But just then, the lights dimmed, and a spotlight hit the stage, illuminating a very nervous looking Gin. More lights illuminated Nakaoris old band that had set up behind her.

"G-good evening, la-" Gin choked in front of the mic, looking over the crowd, eyes wide as tea trays.

"KICK THEY'RE ASSES GIRL!" A shout from the crowd echoed across the room, Gojairu decided to support her friend, letting all the jealousy and doubt just melt away.

Gin smiled, alright, time to show the world what she could do. "Hey there rock fans, I'm Gin Jugouki, and since a slow song would put this poor man to sleep, for the first song of the night, I'm gonna ask everyone to put down they're sad little drinks and dance!"

She signaled to the band...2. 3. 4.

And like always, it go real loud, real fast.

Love in with you, lyrics by Gin Jugouki/ME!
(blame paramore. and that new kelly clarkson song...guh.)

I've been out of the business of love for too long
So I wrote you a love song,
Hope that you appreciate the time it took to write my feelings out.

I really dont know what to say to you
you make me feel things that seem so brand new
but like a dusted off book im re learning what its all about.

AND I
AM SCREAMING
THAT I LOVE AM IN WITH YOU

YOU
CANNOT REALIZE
THE THINGS YOU DO

TO ME, WHEN YOU, KISS ME, I WANNA SAY
THAT I LOVE AM IN WITH YOU,
THAT I LOVE AM IN WITH YOOOU!

See, now that came out all mixed up
cause when I'm around you I give up
trying to make any sense, since you need no more evidence

to prove, the way I'm feeling now, like im about to explode
from my heart to my head, im all read so instead of keeping it from you I just want to

SCREAM THAT I
AM LOVE WITH IN YOU
EVERYTHING YOU SAY AND YOU DO

JUST MAKES ME CRAZY, BABY JUST MAYBE
I LOVE AM IN WITH YOU!

It was fast, catchy, and Gins voice was something to behold indeed, everyone just stood staring in awe at the usually quiet brooding girl. Until that girl reminded them that they should dance, and dance they did. The song went on, and from the industry fatcat to the scruffy rocker types, nearly everyone was on they're feet and moving.

Gojairu shoved her way over to Rinji, her jaw dragging along behind her. "D-did you know she could do that?..." Gojairu mumbled, still looking in utter shock at the stage.

Riko smiled, waving to Rinji and slipping off into the crowd before Gojairu could notice her.

It was true that Rinji was taken by surprise from Gin's amazing singing abilities, but deep down inside, the girl believed in her the entire time, having heard little snippets of song here and there on their trip already. She knew that Gin would do well and that Gojairu, if anyone, would appreciate the wonderful effort. There was nothing more to be thankful for than the friends and family that were able to share such a wonderful event. At least, Rinji thought it was super nice that they were all here together.

As she watched Gin sing, and then finally people start dancing, she finished up her food in a jiff, not wanting ot be rude in any way, and just in time for Gojairu to pop back to her side and begin a conversation. Rinji went to wave to Riko, but before she knew it, the young rock daughter had disappeared into the crowd. She wondered how Riko felt about the entire thing, though she had given her opinion. It seemed that perhaps Gojairu and her had some unfinished speaking to do, but that would have to wait until later.

"It really is super! We'll have to tell her how awesome it is later," Rinji commented above the noise, trying not to speak loud enough to be heard by anyone else though. She smiled at Gojairu, the light in her eyes and the glint of light off her purple hair just accenting her choice of style even more. "So what do we do now? Is there some bride mumbo jumbo we gotta do or something with your dad? Or is it a day? Hmm. Maybe we should find some guys to hit on..."

Gojairu laughed as her energetic buddy was as usual a mile a minute. "Nah...Nothing to do, but I suppose if you wanted to hit on boys I'd accompany you and pretend to enjoy myself." She said sticking out her tongue...was she ever going to wonder as to why exactly she disliked boys so much? Who knows.

"But if its for you Rin, I'll do it." She said nodding, the music went on in the background, a slower song. People began pairing up, and out of the crowd, a young gentleman walked up to the purple haired Rinji, requesting a dance. Gojairu grinned, telling the boy that Rinji would love to and shoving the two off straight away. The man introduced himself as Kentaki, definately nice too look at, not much for conversation though. He did a lot of talking with his hands, as they drifted from here to there on Rinjis back as they danced, and at times tended to drift lower.

Gojairu was not paying attention to this, because she was firmly focused on the man across the room from her, the one staring at Gin on stage...the man named Oniji, Gins father. "Why did you even come if you wont even talk to her, huh?" Gojairu said, getting right in front of him, obscuring his view. Her face set in anger only made his face break out in that crooked smirk again, he took a sip of his drink, moving his head so he was looking past Gojairu. "I'm talking to you!" She said, grabbing the front of his shirt, it was easier to be loud when everyone was distracted by the music. Probably enough so that someone with exceptional hearing could hear.

"Shes more than you ever will be, and you cant accept that can you?" Gojairu growled, earning a chuckle from Gin's father, "If you only knew where that talent comes from." He muttered, taking another sip. "Dont you dare! It dosnt come from you, her mother, or anyone but herself!" Gojairu shouted, shoving him against the wall.

"Gojairu..." A voice behind her said softly, Chie was there, putting a hand on her new sisters shoulder. "Leave him be...please." She said looking knowingly at Gojairu, who hesitantly let go of Oniji. "You touch Gin at all...I'll..." She didnt even finish, and began walking away.

"She has a nice voice..." Oniji said, not really to anyone. Gojairu heard, feeling like a jerk for having done that, she turned to look at Chie, but the girl was gone. As punishment for not looking where your going when walking, who should Gojairu bump into, but....Riko.

"Riko?...what are you-" Riko put a finger to Gojairu's lips. "Songs almost done, dance with me." Riko said, pressing herself against Gojairu, who in shock put her arms around Riko, swaying lightly. "Erm....Hi.." Gojairu said, feeling awkward fit to burst. "Hey...I'm sure you knew in some capacity I would be here. So dont act so surprised, it makes you sound stupid." Riko said, resting her forhead on Go's shoulder.

"I guess I did...sorry, suppose in the end, I am avoiding you." Gojairu said guiltily. "Its fine...I wanted to tell you that I'm over you. Like..totally." Riko said, leaning back and looking Gojairu in the eyes, and Gojairu knew the girl meant it by the way she looked. "Gins probably leaving the band, probably for the best. All I'll have left is Joji...guess you and Gin were really destined to grab greatness." Riko said smiling sadly, "Riko, any time you want, you can just ask your da-"

"I dont want that. You know I dont!...Stop thinking I'll always be selfish cause im rich, alright?" Riko snapped, looking truely hurt. "You broke up with me over that, and cant even be my friend...just cause of that?"

Gojairu looked away, not knowing what to say, and pride telling her to keep silent for the sake of her foolish beliefs. "...My band that I now run on my OWN money...is going to get signed soon, by another record company...my dad is devastated by this, he wanted more than anything to be there for me when I produced my first album...but I told him to his face that I didn't want that...." Riko sighed, letting go of Gojairu as the song ended, pushing her away. "I've done my growing up, now its your turn." She said, walking off quickly as the next song began, faster this time, people began dancing around her.

Gojairu walked back to the spot by the buffet where she had left from...not knowing at all what to say, emotional overload eminent if she didnt distract herself. She hoped Rinji would be done dancing soon.

Rinji was surprised to be so swiftly flung at a young man who appeared seemingly out of no where to take her up into his arms. They swept across the floor, more at random than anything. The dance wasn't formal in the least, but Kentaki seemed to have his own idea of how things were going to go. Rinji had to admit she wasn't exactly pleased with his wandering hands and when they managed to get far enough down she kneed him ceremoniously in the groin, as do most females in such a predicament. Giving him an apologetic smile, the young purple-haired woman dumped him just in time to see Gojairu interact with Riko.

For a moment her heart stopped, and Rinji didn't know what to do. Silence filled her mind. She was worried that Gojairu would freak out and Riko would beat down on her too like a nasty dog rearing its head and baring its sharp teeth, but the Riko she had met before was level-headed...Rinji didn't realize that her breath was held as she watched. Why was she so engrossed? Sure Gojairu was probably her best friend, but it wasn't more right? She shook her head, knocking that idea out and watching as Riko left in order to follow Gojairu.

"What's up? Are you okay?" she asked as she approached the buffet. Gin would be done singing soon too, right?

(I'll destroy you, I will >.>; )

Gojairu looked at Rinji, grabbing some sparkling something as a server walked by with a tray. "Girls are weird, maybe I will start liking boys again." She said, and chugged the entire glass, putting it down on the buffet table. "Stupid Riko, stupid emotions." She grumbled to herself, sighing, she should probably stop muttering to herself and talk to Rinji. "So how was your dance? Any good?" She asked smiling at Rinji.

"Alright you romantics...Its been nice, but I gotta get outta here. Heres one more song to set the mood alright?...AND ITS GONNA GET WILD! Mr.Nakaori is gonna join me on this one or he'll pay." Nakaori protested, but the crowd and his wife eventually got him up on stage. "Alright, lets do it!"

The crowd cheered and the music blared yet again, and due to Nakaoris voice, you can hear why he was famous. Gojairu grinned, grabbing Rinji's hands and dragging her onto the dance floor to dance with her. There was a little bit of bumping and shoving, but altogether, it was a bunch of fun.

Garden of evil - 1997

I ran through the garden of evil.
Trace your steps aside all.
Did he hold your hand, the way that you prefer?
Did he ask you, well, like I asked you our first time?

Turn the lights off. I don't wanna see myself. Doing this.
I just want to love you. I just want to love you.
As much as he did.

I ran through the garden of evil.
Hasent steps I pull away, why am I running if you keep slowing?
So I hesitate:

''Oh, Is this really what you want from me?''
''Is this really what you want from me?''
''Is this really what you want from me?''

Turn the lights off. I don't wanna see myself. Doing this.
I just want to love you I just want to love you as much as he did.

...And maybe this time (I just want to love you)
We can do it right (I just want to love you)
So I say close your eyes.
...And maybe this time (I just want to love you)
We can do it right (I just want to love you)
So I say. Close your eyes. And take your time. Don't be afraid.

I fell into a wishing well. So guess what I've been drinking.
Turns out you drove me into the crowd. So much for wishful thinking.
I fell into a wishing well. So guess what I've been drinking.
Turns out you drove me into the crowd. So much for wishful thinking.

Oh, Is this really what you want from me?
(I fell into a wishing well. So guess what I've been drinking)
Oh, Is this really what you want from me?
(I fell into a wishing well. So guess what I've been drinking)

Turn the lights on. Pick me up and carry me away from this.
I don't want you to love me. I don't want you to love me.
just like they did.

And maybe this time.
We can do it right. So I say. Close your eyes.
And maybe this time.
We can do it right. So I say. Close your eyes.
And take your time dont be afraid

((Awww. Don't choo lurves me? T.T Isn't it fun?))

Rinji just laughed, knowing that Gojairu didn't want to think about those things right now and so she shuffled away with her to the dance floor and began to have a good time again. She told Gojairu about the guy and how he totally turned out to be a cop-a-feel type and she had dispatched him, as Vain would say. Rinji found the laughter addictive and of course all the smiles of everybody was something she loved.

Turning her eyes to the stage, Rinji took in Gin having the best time singing with Gojairu's father. It was really a touching thing. How could humans like this interact and never know of the same things that animals did. Creatures all had social get-togethers. There were coming of age, festivals...Rinji couldn't help but think of her time in different forms experiencing the same things and wishing she could share something like that with someone else. Of course, no one else could ever adopt her power.

After the song and the dance was over, Rinji clapped and cheered loudly, screaming Gin's name in a controlled manner. She turned to Gojairu, grinning and giving her a big hug. "No matter what happens, I'll be here."

It may have seemed to come from no where, but Rinji now realized the huge change that had to overcome Gojairu now. With a father back in her life more, a little sister and new mother to boot, she'd have her hands full. If they didn't go on adventures as much, Rinji wouldn't mind. She'd be sad for a while, but Gojairu had to live with her family too, right?

"So now what?"

The cheering, the laughing, the music...Gojairu hated the thought of leaving. She laughed very hard at Rinji's tale of attempted molestation. "Wish I hadn't missed that." She said giggling. The dancing was intense and tiring and b the end gojairu was sweaty, but content. People began to filter out of the room and back to the hotel, Gojairu turned to Rinji to suggest they leave themselves, when Rinji unexpectedly embraced her.

"No matter what happens, I'll be here."

Gojairu smiled, hugging her friend tight. "Thank you Rin...Same to you." It was a very touching moment. "Looks like Gin's going to held up by adoring fans, perhaps we should head upstairs." Gojairu said smiling and leading her friend heading towards the room. "Dibs on showering first, unless you wanted to shower together!" Gojairu said grinning as they entered the room.

"Heh, Gin will either be really excited with all that or she'll be pissed off. I wonder which! She'll have to tell us later when she gets back to the room," Rinji commented watching as the swarms of people, both men and women began to engulf Gin. She thought for a moment that maybe the two of them should save her, but when Rinji saw the young singer smile, she let it slide.

Turning back to her friend, the young woman nodded, grinning the same and following her as she spoke about showering. "Ha ha. You'd like that! But no. I'm cool. I'll wait my turn!"

As they exitted, the two rounded the corner and into Jude, standing there smiling pleasantly. Although he was a man nearly at the age of a well-established father, he still had a handsome look about him now, and decided to nod to Gojairu, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I hope I am not too forward, but I wish to congratulate you on your new family and hope that things may be prosperous for you in the future. I have seen your father and your new mother and new sister interact and, again, if I am not too forward, I would like to assure you that they are sincere. My well wishes."

Rinji blinked, not knowing what to think. Jude had appeared out of no where and even though he looked twice her age, well maybe not THAT much, he seemed for some reason to intrigue her thoughts. She turned to Gojairu, wondering what she would think before offering the man a smile and nodded. In case things got awkward, Rinji added, "Thank you again, Jude, for taking us around. You should have a nice rest! We're all getting ready to go to sleep."

"Yes," Jude replied shortly, but no less cordial. "I will be retiring as well. Good night, ladies."

And with that he turned and walked away.

Gojairu smiled and thanked Jude for this kind words and she and Rinji headed back to the room. Gojairu waved and headed into the the shower, whistling as she washed herself off.

The night would be more or less event less, Gojairu exited the shower. "Your turn, missy." The towel wrapped blonde girl said, "Sure you dont want me to join you?"

"Oh ha ha very funny," Rinji replied sarcastically and in a straight tone as she stuck out her tongue and grabbed her own items to move into the shower. You'd think that since it was such a fancy place it would have more than one shower...

After booting Gojairu out, the young woman took a good look at herself in the mirror before nodding. She didn't look half bad. She had a nice dress, not bad hair cut, cool jewelry...had even made it through the whole day of a rock star's life with press and all! So...Rinji sighed as she started dishevelling the dress, how come it was impossible for her to find a guy? She was cute and funny...right? Gojairu and Gin thought so...

She decided to shake the thought from her. Afterall, this wasn't like her at all, right? But she couldn't help it popping into her head again once she was in the shower.

"Whyyyyy," Rinji whined as she gargled water and let it run down her. She finished eventually and dried herself off before stepping out in a grungy t-shirt and plain blue shorts. Flopping onto Gojairu's bed, she curled up into a ball.

Dressed in a tanktop and underwear, Gojairu sat in thought on her bed. Today had gone alright, her father still loved her, right? And her newly found family...how was that gonna pan out? Most of her family had consisted of her father..or those two idiots back at AHS, who were like the brothers she never had. But now she'd have a sister and mother, Gojairu was a little worried...would she have to become more lady like? Tone down her attitude? She didnt know if she could do that.

"Uggh...gonna have an ulcer by the time this is through.." She groaned, being joined by Rinji on the bed, who seemed to adopt the fetal position very quickly. "What the matter Rin?" She asked, patting the girls back.

The front door quickly opened and closed, "Hi. Back. Shower. Going to bed." Gins words barely registered as they came out in an embarassed blur, and then was silenced by the bathroom door closing.

"Wonder what happened to her..." Gojairu pondered aloud

Rinji didn't answer quite as quickly after Gojairu patted her on the head, mostly because Gin ran in and then dove to the shower. It was an interesting scene, and definitely something Rinji would have to investigate later. She wondered herself why the girl had rushed so quickly away, but perhaps she was just tired.

"I dunno," Rinji mumbled into the blanket, her purple hair just barely wet anymore from the shower. She groaned into the pillow before sitting straight up, grabbing Gojairu by the shoulders and shaking her. "WHY CAN'T I GET A GUY!?"

The shapeshifter hadn't exactly...yelled it. It was more like a controlled inner scream that came out as a loud question.

Gojairu just laughed at the girls question as the delivery was nothing less than comical. "Your probably not forward enough, too nice." Is how she answered smiling. "They're not gonna come to you, missy you have to get up in they're faces and say 'Hi I'm Rinji, Im sexy buisness!'" She stopped, giggling a bit to herself at the mental image.

"But seriously...you've got a lot going for you....so, you gotta show that to them." She said with a wink as she reached over and cuddled her damp companion.

"It's no fair!" Rinji wailed, clinging to her friend. She wasn't really crying, but it was enough to make her feel better about herself. She sighed as she buried her face in Gojairu's shoulder. Her reply was again muffled by the clothing and the fact that she was purposefully shoving her nose into a shoulder bone. "I thought I was being forward! I thought that I was a really really bright and in the face kinda person. I'm not?"

The young woman began to remember all the males she had ever had interactions with. Around the guys, Rinji supposed she was a lot more shy, but really? Did it make that big of a difference? She thought that guys like the shy and quiet type anyway. Maybe it depended on the kind of person it was. She had no idea.

She thought perhaps explaining to her best friend what was going on might help. Rinji looked up. The two of them were pretty tired though, so was it really time for a life story?

"Well, there was only this one guy that I liked kinda..Gen. He magically disappeared though. I have no idea where he went and what he's doing. I think he might be gone from AHS forever. Maybe had had more important things to do."

"Gen, huh? First love is always complicated...." She said, looking away, remembering as she always did, her own first. "It never works out like in the movies, but its special nonetheless...I'm jealous of anyone who actually has they're first love not fall apart." She reached around her friend, hugging her gently, nuzzling rinjis vibrant hair. "Gotta keep your chin up, your an attractive lady, miss rin." She said pulling away and putting a hand under Rinjis chin, then brushed her cheek. "Someone out there is waiting for ya, and its worth the wait..." She said blushing slightly, as she herself had once had a small crush on Rinji. "A-anyway, lets call it a night." She said smiling as she pulled her hand away.

"Hey it wasn't first love!" Rinji snapped, bopping Gojairu on the head a little harder than she had really wanted. She didn't knock the girl out, but it was a bit rougher than playful. "I'm just saying that I liked him is all. It wasn't that big of a deal!"

She huffed as she listened to Gojairu's advice and support. It was true that the young rocker always seemed to have something pleasant to say to her at least. The shape shifter sighed, flopping down on the bed and rolling around a while before groaning and saying, "Fiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnne. Bedtime. But what are we up to tomorrow? Are you going to spend time with your new parental and the kid or are we gonna hit the road again?"

Rinji didn't admit that she really wanted to be with Gin and Gojairu again, just them on the open road, but she respected the fact that Gojairu had things to attend to, especially something as important as a family. Maybe Rinji should check up on her own father.

"Ow!" Gojairu squeaked, rubbing the top of her head. "okay, sorry...sheesh.
She said ruffling Rinji's hair and laying next to her. "Nah...tomorrow we're getting outta here." She said looking at the ceiling, she had been asked by her father to stay, but they had agreed that her presence made the media all hot and bothered, gaining both of them far more attention than either of them needed. In the end...it was better for her to just leave the happy new family to they're life...

"We'll have a few more adventures though, no doubt." Gojairu said grinning, trying despretely not to give in to her emotional turmoil. "Besides, you dont need boys when you've got me!" She said flopping over ontop of her friend, dangerously close but had yet to realize it as she jokingly straddled her friend ontop of the bed.

(This enough fuel for a bit of a drama bonfire? :P)

(Never. XD)

"Hooray to the new adventures! I like all this press business, but really it's gettin' kinda crazy. I mean...extremely tiring. I don't even know how to answer their questions. I also kinda don't hear them to begin with..." Rinji stated matter-of-factly. She sighed, picking a good time without knowing because Gojairu chose to roll over onto her and squish her. Good thing the air was out. The only problem was that Rinji would have a hard time breathing in.

"True," Rinji said to her remark, a bit nervously as she thought about the two of them and how close they had become. And what about Gojairu's encounter with her ex-girlfriend? Like THAT was out of her mind, yeah right! Rinji didn't know exactly what to think or say.

The first thing was to find a way to breathe though, and the easiest thing Rinji thought of (which of course we realize is much more complicated than just asking Gojairu to get off of her) was to transfigure at rapid speed. In a moment her eyes melded into gold with purple flecks, elongated and sharp. Her face grew whiskers. A tail whisked out, her pjs turned to a deep purply black and before Gin exitting the bathroom and before Gojairu had a chance to steady herself, Rinji's smooth as silk panther form stood up with the young woman on her back. She shook out her body, wiggled her ears, and looked at Gojairu with a toothy grin.

There was a panther right under her! Gojairu lept back in surprise, not remembering that her friend could transform. "Jeez girl! Warn me next time..." Gojairu gasped clutching her chest and breathing hard. "Am I interupting?" Gin asked leaning against the doorway, grinning. "Sh-shut up Gin!" Gojairu huffed, glaring at Gin, who walked over to pet panther Rinji. "Thanks for coming tonight, Rin..meant a lot." Gin said smiling at Rinji, one hand holding up her towel and the other petting her friends fuzzy head. If Rinji looked carefully, there seemed to be a red mark on Gins neck just above her bare shoulder.

Rinji purred as she cuddled around Gin's new clean legs. Surprisingly for a cat, she did not lose any hair on her wet legs, which probably was nice for the young woman who was just cleaned in the shower. She stuck her pink tongue out at Gojairu, lifting her tail up in the air in almost a 'hiss hiss huffy' sort of way before jumping up on her hind legs and putting her paws gently on Gin's shoulders. The large feline poked her nose at the young woman's neck, and although Rinji had a different sort of sight through her purple and gold panther eyes, she definitely could NOT mistake the mark on Gin's shoulder.

Transforming in a flash, Rinji was in Gin's face in a minute. "I'm glad to have come to support you, really! You were totally awesome up there."

She grinned at the young woman almost slyly as she thought about how to embarassed or ask her about it. Perhaps Gin would get angry though and that would be the end of their newly forming relationship! Oh no! But no...they were all in a good mood, right? So it was okay to ask? Plus, she knew that Gojairu might even be worse about it later if she ended up asking, so Rinji took the initiative.

"Psst. Gin. What's that on your neck?" she asked half whisperingly.

Gin giggled as she was cuddled by a giant black kitty, so soft...and suddenly there was a girl in front of her, congratulating her. "I-It wasnt really much...I was just having fun.." Gin said, blushing from the praise. "Never knew you had it in you." Gojairu admitted, still surprised at Gins amazing performance, perhaps even a little jealous. "Thanks!" Gin said, and then Rinji had to whisper that in her ear. "WHAT!" Gin gasped, getting up, "N-nothing! It..I...shut up!" Gin quickly fled the room, slamming the door behind her.

"Uh...what did you do?" Gojairu asked, sitting on the bed and gawking at Rinji.

Rinji just stared and was totally surprised herself. Maybe Gin was overreacting? Seriously, why wouldn't she just tell! It was a super easy question, right? "I have no idea!" the young woman replied to Gojairu and then quickly followed Gin. Although her door had slammed, the young woman had not been swift enough to lock it, and Rinji dove inside before she had the chance.

"GIN! Telllllllllllllllll mmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I wanna knooooooooowwwwwwww!" Rinji exclaimed, tackling the young singer, despite the fact that she was in a towel still. She pinned her down and sat on her, wanting an answer. "It's nothing to be embarrassed about! Come onnnnnn!"

The young woman's curiosity was beyond her means to control it, and otherwise she would've gladly left Gin alone, but she did want to know.

Gin was tackled and interrogated by this purple haired inquisitor. And needless to say she wasnt taking it sitting down. "None of your god damn business!" Gin shouted, still blushing like mad. "I just kissed someone on the way back alright? No big fucking deal, so bugger off about it!"

"Kissed who?" Gojairu asked, grinning as she leaned against Gin's doorway, "His name wasnt Kentaki was it?" She inquired with a giggle, remembering the uncouth youth that had groped at Rinji's behind. "No! And I am not telling you so you two can just go right off and kiss EACHOTHER if your so obsessed with it! You seemed close to it when I walked in!"

"I-idiot! Thats not how it is at all!" Gojairu shouted back, her mind inevitably imagining it in her mind.

"Hey! No fair, Gin!" Rinji exclaimed, making pouty lips. She nearly bopped the young woman, but decided on something easier, and swiftly changed into a cougar. The sharp young feline was heavy enough to make sure that Gin couldn't escape, but the downside was that she could do none of the interrogating anymore. The eyes, again, bright purple as hers were, looked daringly into Gin's.

'I was sooo not close to kissing Gojairu,' Rinji thought to herself as she plopped down on Gin's stomach, enough so that her body draped itself over the girl's, but not enough that she actually crushed her. She still wanted the young singer to be able to breathe. 'We were just playing around! That's what girlfriends do. Besides...Gojairu's got her ex-girlfriend to figure out, or escape from, so like hell I'm going to deal with that. I really hope it wasn't that Ken guy. He was a creep...'

She started thinking about all the other possibilities. What kind of drama could erupt from this all? Who was it that Gin was totally diggin' on? And apparently....this person was also diggin' on her. Rinji shoped it was not a one-night kind of thing.

Her cougar gaze demanded answers from the young woman.

(Aww...I was gonna try to keep this a secret until the next day.)

Gin was getting seriously angry, even if there was a cute cuddly panther on her! "Seriously guys, piss off about it! It was a girl, and that's all I'm saying! Now get OUT!" She thrashed about under panther Rinji, but...the scent on Gins neck would be much clearer to the girls enhanced senses...it was Riko's.

"Whatever Gin, dont have a cow, girl..." Gojairu said, walking over and trying to pry the large feline off of her friend. "Come on, furball, time to go to bed, leave miss grumpy to her secrets."

However all of this would have to be put on hold as there was a knock at the door, someone was knocking in a haphazard way...and didnt show signs of stopping until the door was opened for them.

(Well they still don't know! :D)

Rinji nuzzled Gin to try and reconcile, but it was probably to no avail because the young woman just continued to try and shove the kitty off. Finally, the young transfigurer relented as Gojairu dragged her away, amazingly. She managed to only get a waft of the strange scent which remained barely on Gin's freshly washed skin. She couldn't tell if it had been clean smelling Gin or some foreign flavour. Either way, Rinji's short attention span turned toward the door knocking.

She scrambled out of Gojairu's grasp and stood, in an instant of liquid beauty, back to her human form.

"Who could it be knocking at this hour?" Rinji asked, "I mean, I know people party here all the time but I was seriously getting tired...."

The young woman yawned as she opened the door, stepping behind it so that she could not see who was outside, but the other two women could.

Gojairu laughed "We do not party all the time, Rin." She said pushing her friend as she went off to answer the door. Gin got up, brushing herself off, she had a bad feeling.

Which only intensified as Rinji opened the door to reveal Oniji, Gins father...still knocking at only air. He looked and saw that the door had been opened, "Oh...the purple haired ringbearer...hey." You could tell by everything about him, the smell, his eyes, his speech...he was drunk. "Dad...what are you doing here." Gin was in front of Rinji in a second, all traces of the embarassed little girl from before gone. "Congradulatin..." Oniji slurred, smiling. "Oh really...congratulating who." Gojairu asked, putting an arm around Rinji and pulling her back a bit.

"Why you of course...your father finally tied the knot...was worried he would have blue balls for the rest of his life." Oniji chuckled, Gojairu pushed Rinji aside and barreled towards him, Gin put out a hand to stop her, "I'll handle this...you two just go back inside and head to bed." Gin sighed.

Rinji grumbled a bit, but out of respect, nodded and slunk back like a irked kitty toward her room, dragging Gojairu at the last second by her pinky, probably protesting. Rinji was tired and if Gin wanted to handle it, she could handle it. Although the young woman really wanted to know who this character truly was, because she was quite curious at the fact that he appeared to be Gin's father, she thought it best to do as Gin proposed and have her tell them about it later.

"Gojairu, I'm tired! Bedtime!" Rinji said, as she directed herself to her own bed and plopped down on it. Before Gojairu went to her own bed, however, Rinji threw in, "Hey, congrats from me too."

She realized she hadn't ever said it to her friend, not REALLY, and it was definitely in order. Wanting to talk more, but probably in the morning, Rinji simply offered a true smile with her purple eyes and then flopped back onto the bed. "Nightttttt."

"Thanks Rin." Though her gratitude sounded somewhat distracted. Gojairu sat up in bed, looking at the door, straining her ears for something, anything that would justify her going out there and decking that jerk in the face. She clenched her fists hard, Gin...that idiot didnt have to do this alone! She had promised her last time...why was she doing this!

She got up, walking to the door and putting her ear to it, listening closely. Trying to catch whatever she could before she was inevitably pulled away by Rinji.'

Gin
: Its something I want, dad! I think I did well tonight
Oniji: Hahaha! Please! Half those people were just tryin to get a pass at your jugs. Your a girl, the rock industries not gonna take you seriously...
Gin: Thats not true...
Oniji: Oh yes it is...you know your mother tried to make it on her own...heh, we all know how that went.
Gin: I am NOT mom! Stop comparing every female to her! And she only left you because she was tired of being stifled by you! And I am too...you need to just get over yours-

There was a smack, a cry from Gin,the sound of a someone falling to the floor.

Oniji
: You wanna be painted as a slutty little rock chick for the rest of your life?! Fine! But you will no longer be of any relation to me if you do! I've suffered enough already from woman who just grab what they want and leave the baggage on me..

Still feel like just going to bed? :P

Although she had been lying down trying to fall asleep, the young woman couldn't help but ear the arguing ont he other side of the door. She didn't need to strain in order to hear, which might've been in part of her sensitive ears, but upon hearing Gin, someone she thought of as being very strong and tough, being smacked around, Rinji couldn't help but feel incredibly angry. She wanted to barge through the door in tiger form and rip that man to shreds, but if this was something that Gin really wanted to do by herself, then she wasn't going to get in the way.

"Gojairu, she can take care of it herself. Gin stood up for herself. She's going to keep standing up for herself and we just need to support her when it's all over."

At least, that's what Rinji hoped. That's what she kept telling herself. Wasn't it something that she wanted to believe because she had witnessed the young rocker's strength and charisma? She believed in Gin, and if that was all Gin needed, her as a friend, that's what she was going to give her. Sure, it wasn't right that her father had slapped her, but Rinji wouldn't be surprised if she slapped him back. They didn't want it to get incredibly dirty, but at the same time, the young woman believed that they shouldn't interfere.

"Let's just wait, Gojairu..."

Gojairu was shaking, every bit of her trembling in pure rage...which was bad because her meta human strength was controlled by her mood. "I'll punch his face in..." She seethed, standing up and putting her hand on the knob.

"Gojairu, she can take care of it herself. Gin stood up for herself. She's going to keep standing up for herself and we just need to support her when it's all over."

"Let's just wait, Gojairu..."

"Dont...care." She hissed, Gin had protected her when things had gotten they're worst, and now she was just going to stand here and-

There was shuffling from the other room as Gin got up.

Gin: Get out...Its not worth this...being your daughter is not worth this!
Oniji: You..ungratefu-
Gin: Get!! OUT!!

There was silence, receding footsteps, and then a door slamming. More silence, and then a loud scream of an expletive and a shattering as if something from the kitchen had been violently thrown against the wall.

"Strength of mind is stregth of body...strength of heart is strength of body." The mantra kagaro had made for her...but she didn't feel strong at all...even if she had wrenched the doorknob out of the door. There was a little more clattering, a few more expletives shouted, and sobbing from the kitchen. Sounds like that was their cue.

Rinji got up in a flurry, ready to grab Gojairu and steady her if she needed to because she didn't think a raging best friend was a good idea at the moment. She was relieved to hear Gin's father leaving in a whirl of cusses and they waited for a few moments, wondering what Gin would do before opened the door and entering.

"Gin?" Rinji asked, softly and slowly as she approached the young woman with Gojairu. She exchanged a worried look with her best friend before tossing some purple bangs from her eyes and walking up to the rocker. "Are you hurt at all?"

That was the first order of business. If Gin had really been hurt physically, then Rinji would tend to the wounds as best she could immediately. She gave her friend a once over though and determined that she probably hadn't suffered any large bone breaking or loss of blood.

"Talk to us, Gin...please?"

(for note: Gin was the one swearing and throwing shit :P)

Gin sat there, just looking at the ground, curled in a tight ball on the floor of the of the now very messy kitchen. She looked up as Rinji aproached, lightly calling her name. "Hey you..." Gin said, attempting a smile, even though there were tears flowing down her face past her cheeks, on one of which was painted a rather red mark, with tinges of purple. "Say the word and I'll go make him sorry he ever walked in this room." Gojairu said, crouching by her friend, Gin just shook her head.

"Talk to us, Gin...please?"

"He's just jealous that I'm more than he ever was...I dont care if he wated his entire life playing second f-fiddle..stupid old m-..m..." Gin curled up again, crying into her knees. Gojairu leaned down, hugging Gin to her, patting her hair.

Rinji was surprised to see her friend in such a manner. Expecting that she would be a bit hurt and upset, Rinji was taken aback to find her curled up on the floor in such a fashion. She quickly exchanged another look with Gojairu that simply begged, 'uh...what do we do?' before kneeling next to the young woman and hugging her too. She gave her her best smile, something that always made Rinji feel better when she was in trouble and nodded to her.

"That's right," Rinji agreed. She didn't want to seem mean, but she did want Gin to know that she was on her side, not only because they were friends, but because she truly believed that she was right. "He is jealous. You are more of an adult than he is, and I can tell that just by seeing him once. It's that obvious. You're such a strong woman, and you don't need him to torment you so. Family or not, that's not how you treat a person and you don't have to stand for that!"

The young purple-haired woman was really enthusiastic when it came to women and standing up for their rights. She wasn't a feminist, but she definitely thought that independent women were amazing and an awesome contributors to society. They were such role models, and though Gin's past might've been laced wiht a lot of drama and pain, she had come out on top, right?

"Gin, we're here for you," Rinji said, smiling gently. "We believe in you. Always."

Gin looked up, smiling a bit. "Thanks girls...now lets have a sleepover and eat marshmallows while talking about hot boys." Gin said with a small chuckle, "This is pretty corny huh?" Gojairu said, smiling, and helped Gin up. "You need something for that bruise?.." Gojairu asked concerned "Uhm...I dunno...there's a cut or two on my arm from throwing the bottle at the door..."

Gojairu looked over, and there was indeed a smattering of glass shards, probably Oniji's bottle of booze that lay on the floor of they're room. "Wow, girl..." Gojairu said laughing "I'm thinking its good we leave tomorrow. Anyway, I'll go get some bandages from the bathroom." Gojairu said wandering out of the kitchen.

"Thank you..." Gin said putting an arm around Rinji, "I feel like this entire trip would have gone differently without you...and probably Gojairu's entire life...you are definately someone special, Rinji."

------

Meanwhile.

Oniji stumbled down the hall towards the elevator, pressing the button and waiting for the car to come up. Then the doors opened, and there was a small dark haired girl with glasses standing there, reading a book. "Hello Mr.Jugoki..." Chie said closing the book and looking up at Gins father as he walked inside the car. "Your Nakaori's new daughter..." He said, surprised, "Your not staying in this hotel..."

Chie smiled, "The police have been informed of your actions...they're waiting for you on the bottom floor. But...before that...we have some time alone to reflect on what you have done to my sister's friend." She said, despite the smile on her face, there was a considerable note of menace in her voice. She stepped out of the elevator, waving as the doors closed behind her.

"Sweet dreams, Mr.Jugoki."

For the next ten minutes going down the elevator, the cameras shut off, and Oniji Jugoki would experience all the pain he had ever caused from his daughters perspective. All the sorrow, all the anger.

That would give him something to think about in jail. Chie smiled to herself, opting to take the stairs back down.

((FREAKY little girl...))

Rinji blushed as Gin complimented her. She found it perhaps, one of the most influential and moving moment of her life so far. Hugging Gin closely and laughing at the fact that the place was a shambles, she said in a matter-of-fact voice, "I think it adds to the decor. A little splash of booze here and there never hurt anything."

In a comical manner, the young woman tilted her head sideways, as if viewing a world-class painting with a pensive appearance. The alcohol dripped down the perfect hotel room interior. The wallpaper would probably peal, the molding would be stained forever!

"This place will definitely remember us," Rinji laughed, smiling. "And I TOTALLY agree to marshmallows and talking about hot boys...or rather, the lack of any."

That made Rinji go grumpy again as she pouted to herself. Sure, the woman had discussed it with Gojairu, but she hadn't with Gin. Turning to the woman, and trying to get her mind off of current things, Rinji grabbed her and stared at her intensely before saying, "I can't manage to get a boyfriend. BAHHHH. If I'm so special, how come no one will date me!?"
