Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Raiya began to get a bit breathless as she fought to free herself. The breathlessness wasn't from her chest being constricted, it was from the effort she had to exert just to keep her energy between herself and the hair. She hadn't expected this much resistance. The fact that it was now trying to pound through her shield wasn't helping either. She could only hold the shield for so long. Once that time was up, it would disolve, if the spikes of hair didn't break through first. Just when she was starting to get really worried, she noticed a change. The hair wrapped around her was growing less. When she risked a look, she saw that the spikes' attack on her shield was causing sparks. It seemed that like all hair, this hair was fairly flamable, causing it to burn. The hair was replaced once it burned, but the new hair wasn't wrapping around her, or trying to attack her. Maybe she actually might have a chance. Closing her eyes, she summoned every ounce of will she had and pushed the energy around her outward. As she'd hoped, she was able to rop to the ground. Bolting for the hole in the wall, she retracted the energy threads back inside herself. Doing so gave her a boost, allowng her to increase her speed. She didn't know what the hair would do. She just prayed she'd have enough time to get out the hole before it came after her again. Once she was out of the room, she could think up a plan. She might not approve of what the teenaged boy had done, but she couldn't let him get killed. Somehow she had to think of a way to get the two of them out of this situation. That was, after she made it through the hole. |

“If it’ll make you feel better I will, but, I wasn’t going to hurt any of you anyway..” Jo really didn’t know what to do this guy was made out of cotton candy, she didn’t want to hurt him, but things where turning from bad to worse. His eyes is he blind?, that would answer why he’s so calm even thought there’s a gun in his face “I just wanted you to know that, Kwan wants what’s best for all of us, Even you..” Ja ja ja, Good for all of us, my bro is easily ten time stronger than Kwan and he didn’t have to steal banks for the greater good… Jo’s line of thought was disrupted by Gi’s next question “Where is he?, I can’t hear him.” Jo rapidly took a look around and things where not pretty If your asking for Kwan I have to sadly announce that he may be dead, but we need to stop this and that’s now. At the speed things are going people will die and Kwan seems to be the first in the list. Jo grabbed Gi by an arm and pulled him up Move!, where going somewhere where we don’t end up being targets why was she trying to protect him?, after all he came whit the men who ruined her day and he may be playing whit her. Suk was still in a rampage and the other two men could return at any second and she was not using him as a shield she was dragging him somewhere safe so why? For as long as the battle went on Suk refused to make a retaliation of attack, he seemed somewhat content on continuously dodging over and over and over again, allowing his enemy tire herself out. His movements were fluid and precise, moving backwards as she was about to spin kick him, bending to the side when she was about to punch. The strange thing about this however was that it seemed Suk began moving before she even began to attack, making it seem as if he knew exactly where she was going to strike before she could stop herself from attacking there. When she began hitting at him with more rage behind her punches however he began to do something quite different. Suk raised one hand upwards to his mouth and dodged without even looking in the same direction as Shiro. What was he doing? No! He was yawning!? When Shiro broke apart Suk lowered his hand and peered over at her with disinterested eyes, he seemed bored, very bored. “You are finished?” He asked curiously, “Silly girl, don’t you understand? I’ve never taken an injury that I didn’t plan to take intentionally.” Suddenly and swiftly Suk raised his hand upwards once more however this time it was in the shape of a fist, stretched outwards to his side towards Shiro. His thumb lowered, displaying a thumbs down gesture towards the girl. Now he wasn’t even looking at her, he just gazed down towards the ground, with the same uninterested expression printed across his face. Slowly however he turned his gaze upwards and to the side to face Shiro, a devious smirk spreading from ear to ear. Without warning he made his move, kicking off of the ground and closing the gap between the two within an instant. His left arm, which was furthest away from Shiro at the time, twisted through the air and swung straight towards the girls form. Here however lies the catch. No matter what direction Shiro would move, no matter what direction she attempted to dodge into, Suk twisted his attack to attack in just that direction. Whatever position she blocked in he bent around this in order to attack from a different angle, whatever Shiro would do would only be met with the perfect strategy to counter her movement. As if Suk knew where she was going to be moving to before she even knew it herself. ---------------------------- Thomas chuckled a little as Leon went on to explain his likes, dislikes, hobbies and any other irrelevant information that seemed to come to the boy’s mind. He had a very nice smile, the sort of smile that just looked as if it were given by a nice kind hearted person. When the explosion rang out from within the bank his attention shifted upwards towards the vicinity of the building, his smile replaced by a concerned look of worry. He didn’t turn his head to listen to Leon as the boy expressed his worries for his friends however Thomas looked quite depressed upon hearing them. His eyes shifted downwards to avert his gaze, only raising once more with another smile upon his face, however this one was different, given the circumstances of it’s arrival it was most likely a fake smile. “Yes, yes you’re right.” He replied, “Trust me we’re all doing the best we can however it’s a very delicate operation.” With that Thomas turned away, he waved his hand behind him as a gesture for Leon to follow as he made his way inside the tent. Upon entering the tent however he was confronted immediately by the much more stern Captain Hughes, who walked straight up into him, invading Thomas’ personal space in a threatening manner. “What are you doing bringing a child into this!?” He asked in a hushed however stern tone, obviously trying to hide his words from Leon. Thomas however just smiled at the captain given the man’s looming and threatening appearance, he was bent back a little bit so to avoid getting too close. “It’ll serve us a tactical advantage, trust me, I know what I’m doing.” He replied. He didn’t say or do anything else, he just kept eye contact with the larger intimidating captain, who glared back for a few seconds before finally growling, turning and walking away. It seemed that Thomas was a good a negotiator as he claimed, giving the captain no choice but to walk away. ------------------------- As Raiya broke away the hair that surrounded the younger bank robber diverted their attention away from her and instead chose to wrap around the very person they came from. This however seemed more like a protective cocoon than an attempt to kill him. Within seconds they formed a perfect egg shaped protective dome around him, and with that it began to move. The strands of hair underneath the protective barrier spread outwards to crawl it’s way across the floor and outside of the door, making it’s way away from the fight at a normal human’s walking speed. Raiya for the most part, was safe. This however did not apply for the larger bank robber Hyuan. Hyuan seemed to be turning red, large blue veins popped up across his head and his eyes were becoming blood shot. He was becoming more furious every single second that passed however he wasn’t just going to stand around. The bank robber slammed his fist directly into the wall behind him, his entire forearm going straight through the wall where it remained hidden from view. His muscles tensed and his teeth clenched hard against one another as with a tremendous ripping sound a long segment of the wall was pulled away. Hyuan had pulled a long metal girder from out of the wall, he swung it down at Mikhail with tremendous force, ripping apart a long gash in the ceiling in the process as it made it’s way towards him. What was definitely bad about this attack was that it was so powerful and so strong it possessed the ability to rip through and displace any gravitational fields that Mikhail could produce, but would Mikhail know that? No matter what Mikhail did the result was unchanged. The girder slammed down on the ground with incredible fierceness and power, causing a mini shockwave that blasted every piece of debris around the room into the walls and sending brick dust flying upwards. Despite the damage now done to the room it didn’t seem as if it was unstable or about to fall down, obviously this building was very well put together. The girder was red hot due to the rapid movement, hissing and scolding the ground underneath it as it laid pressed firmly down to the floor. Whether Mikhail was crushed underneath it however was left to the unknown due to the large amount of dust that shrouded the area. No matter what the circumstance, Hyuan smirked, confident that he had killed his opponent. ------------------------- Gi didn’t retaliate when he was pulled to his feet, he didn’t seem to expect it however when he realised what was happening he didn’t try to prevent himself from being moved. Upon hearing her words as to Kwan’s death his expression was that of shock, distraught, and confusion. When he was ordered to move he did not, he just remained where he was although he didn’t seem to mind Jo holding onto him, no matter how harshly she did so. Gi was in deep thought, facing off into nothingness with his milky white eyes. After a few seconds however, he smiled. Despite the news of Kwan’s death, he smiled. “If that’s what he wants.” He replied. Gi paused, focusing in a very deep train of thought. His eyes slowly closed while he focused, keeping as quiet as possible and steadying his breathing so to keep perfectly calm. Finally however he opened his eyes and spoke. “The most empty section of the bank is to the north east, exit the main chamber to your right and continue to the back of the building. Everyone is trying to head upstairs all at once so most the stairs are blocked. Most are humans and Meta humans at lower class C so they have chosen not to fight.” He said, without pausing to breath throughout his entire sentence, “Lead the way.” |

When Mikhail saw the girder ripped from the wall he was quite amused. It seemed as if if this brute still thought that he could be killed via brute strength. The boy considered if he should be insulted but then decided it was meaningless either way. He reversed his defensive fields, causing them to push on the inside. The force of the gravitational fields easily pushed Mikhail out of direct harms way. He removed the fields and set up new ones as the next effect of the older man's attack was clear. Debris fired at the black clothed boy but most were caught in gravitational fields the repulsed the force of gravity several times. The ones the slipped through pierced the boy easily, making only a few small holes with a trail of blood from each. These wounds quickly sealed up due to his power and acted as if they were never there. Thats when Mikhail came up with an amusing idea. Instead of a direct attack he would do something a bit more imaginative. He layered out a few simple gravitational fields before him. They created a simple box in the room that held Hyuan and Mikhail. The purpose? The field on the floor repulsed exactly one G. This essentially created a zero-gravity area. Debris and such started to float up as well as Mikhail and surely Hyuan. The walls and ceiling of the box was only strong enough to prevent things from floating away. "Hope you know a little bit about physics or this will be difficult to you. Just remember Newtons three laws of motion and you should be fine." Mikhail said with a grin. He grasped a piece of floating debris and wrapped it in a few small gravitational fields. He applied pressure and soon enough it was blasted towards the floating Hyuan. |

'Damn cocky bastard,' Shiro panted a bit in an attempt to catch her breath, well prepared to go another round. Still, she had never pushed her heart limit this far and feared of pushing it further. The man seemed to always be one step ahead of her, as though reading her mind... determining her actions. But even still, the last few exchanges of melee had been with a completely random set of punches and kicks; her mind hadn't dictated the movements all that much. Could he really read her mind? No... that couldn't be it. It had to be something else, something more. >>“You are finished? Silly girl, don’t you understand? I’ve never taken an injury that I didn’t plan to take intentionally.”<< As the man seemed to continuously mock her, he moved in quickly. Instantly, Shiro's heart raced once again and that faint aura seemingly exploded around her. Everything seemed to have a tunnel effect as her eyes focused entirely upon the man heading straight for her. Her arms up in guard, she saw his fist cocked back and aimed for her head. As her hands went to move, however, it started to circle downward. Her arms moved again, but this time, his arm started to shift toward the right. As widened as they were, Shiro's eyes went even further, mostly from shock. How... how could he move so fast? Was that his ability? No... that wasn't it either! How was he determining his actions in the split seconds of her arms moving?! Her weight shifted to her rear foot as her front foot slipped back, all this taking less than a second. Still, even with that fraction of a second extra, her arms were still unable to move to block the incoming punch. Eventually, that fist reached beyond her arms, closing into her midsection, just as her forearms squeezes against his bicep. Her back arched like an arrow as the wind was knocked from her lungs, seemingly in slow motion to her, but in normal time for those watching. Her mouth gaped open as the powerful strike was enough to hurl bits of saliva, air, and a small portion of blood out from her lips, along with an incoherent 'goah.' Her body was hurled backward several meters before landing on her back and skidding further. Her stomach muscles tightened and knotted together from the seemingly unblockable blow, and slowly, the girl started to push herself back up. Her eyes expressed a sense of rage as the back of her palm moved up to wipe the small trail of blood-mixed-saliva from her bottom lip. Slowly, though, those lips formed a pleasing grin. Psychotic as she was, she enjoyed the fact that such a challenge was placed before her. Her expression seemed to mimic Suk's after he had witnessed his comrade's death; the same amount of pleasure and that sadistic grin raised. Yes... this would be fun... most certainly, it would be fun. |

OOC: Normally I wait to be the last post, but I wanted to post to Weeeee!!! Jo saw that Gi didn’t alow himself to be moved I shuld have zip my mouth about Kwan’s death it shocked her that he smiled after a while “If that’s what he wants.” What?, who want what? confused by Gi’s comment, but decided to let it slide, she didn’t want to be forceful, but she really wanted to move even thought her powers are useful there not inclined toward fighting, more likely for some one who used there mind and imagination and the revolver was going to be useful as long at it had bullets and there still two other man running around perfectly healthy. Gi’s revelation strayed her out side her line of thought,“The most empty section of the bank is to the north east, exit the main chamber to your right and continue to the back of the building. Everyone is trying to head upstairs all at once so most the stairs are blocked. Most are humans and Meta humans at lower class C so they have chosen not to fight, Lead the way.” “Ok, if that’s so let’s move” she made sure to have a firm grip of Gi’s hand and started to run, she felt wrong leaving the other two, but if this was to work she needed to be able to advance fast and something inside her told her that time was running out. “I have a question the other two guys that came whit you, do you know what they where suppose to do? Since there taking a long time” Use your brain Jo, it’s time to piece this together a normal robbery would not allow this to happen and what’s holding the police from getting here?, Five, Four men and Gi here. Kwan was playing leader, Speedy over there acted like the second in command. Gi seem valuable to Kwan but not enough for speedy to try and stop me. The other two seem to be the grunts. She did her best to take the fastest path avoiding everything in her path, she look at Gi face, the words of earlier echoed in her mind “Kwan wants what’s best for all of us kwan words return to her mind I assure you all if you stay quiet and out of the way I shall see to it that none of you will be harmed, she was exasperated, she felt that something was wrong something was missing, but what was it. |

Hyuan seemed very put off as he was floating upwards into the air, he began to try and run towards Mikhail however this only caused him to wiggle his legs underneath him which only succeeded in making him much more angry than he was before. Acting purely on his strength alone, Hyuan attempted to force himself towards Mikhail. With a tremendous display of power the bank robber lifted the red hot glowing girder and slammed it into the wall behind him, pushing him through the air and towards his intended target. He was learning fast, but not fast enough. Before he could force himself all the way to the other side of the barrier, Mikhail had already attacked. The shard of debris struck the transformed bank robber straight in the chest, causing him tremendous pain and sending the bank robber flying in the other direction. This change of battlefield definitely played to the bank robber’s disadvantage, unfortunately for him. He hit the edge of the gravitational barrier and began to slowly drift in the other direction, once more towards Mikhail however now he wasn’t even trying to make his way over towards him. Hyuan simply glared angrily back at the boy, now with a large hole protruding straight through him, which was large enough to kill a normal human being however most human beings needed their organs to live. “I’ll give you credit kid, I underestimated you.” He growled, “I never thought I’d have to use my second Meta Power.” It was at this point that the bank robber began to change, his skin seemed to burn off of his flesh, his hair engulfed into flames, every part of his body was slowly burning away leaving nothing but red hot embers remaining. These tiny red hot heated particles however were still affected by the gravitational fields and were slowly spreading around the zero gravity environment to act exactly how partials would act within this environment, they began to spread out to fill out every space equally. Slowly they began to spread out, heating up the air around them and greatly increasing the temperature within the area, and yet the bank robber didn’t stop burning. His eyes were closed tightly and his teeth were clenched tightly in agony but yet he continued to burn, it seemed if he continued like this he would soon be no more, and all within the gravitational fields would be filled with super heated air and red hot glowing embers, hardly the climate for a human to survive within. ------------------------------ Gi didn’t give any resistance when he was pulled, he seemed to stumble across every little bump and piece of debris in his path however he was a quick boy and managed to keep upright all the while. His eyes remained underneath his long blonde hair, facing downwards at the ground as he tried to think while he was running. It wasn’t until the pair had reached the seclusion of an empty corridor that he even began to speak, and even then he had to stop dead in his tracks. Suddenly he lifted his head upwards causing his hair to fan outwards and away from his face revealing something quite shocking. His eyes were glowing a vibrant neon green that seemed to spread outwards from his flesh and drift in the air, almost like a gas, though it was obviously light. It shimmered and glowed beautifully, waving and dancing out from his milky white eyes. It was the exact same green glow that had emitted from Kwan’s eyes when he had removed his sunglasses. “The pair were tasked with making sure every single person in the bank was inside the main hall at all costs. Hyuan currently in combat with a child known as Mikhail at the other side of the bank. The child possesses the power of being able to control gravitational fields and it doesn’t seem as if Hyuan is having an easy task of it defeating him, his power is fluctuating wildly.” Gi said quickly as before, “Bae is wounded, he’s.. Oh no! How couldn’t I have predicted this!!” Gi seemed incredibly shocked and scared, at an instant the green glow that emitted from his eyes sunk back to where they once came. He pointed, straight forwards, down the corridor to where they were heading towards. In front of them a man was walking towards the pair, blood running down his chest and soaked into his shirt. He was grinning, a manacle grin that gave him an almost insane appearance. It was the younger bank robber who had confronted Raiya previously, Bae. “Jo run towards him but immediately turn right before you approach him, trust me on this!” Gi yelled in warning, “His mind isn’t his own! He’ll kill everything that gets in his way!” There was definitely a corridor leading to the right before Bae, however Bae was very close to it at this point. His eyes were rolled into the back of his head as he walked, strangely enough he was unconscious although he still managed to move as if he knew the pair were in front of him. ----------------------------- By now everyone who had been in the main chamber had now run away into the depths of the inner bank to try and desperately find a method of escape, they would however find none. The bank was completely sealed off from the inside, Meta proof walls blocked the doors and windows, leaving everyone trapped within the confines of the building. This left only Suk, Kira, Shiro and Haru left inside the main chamber as well as the now motionless body of Kwan. Suk seemed somewhat put off by Shiro’s smile, he tilted his head to the side and stared back at her with a look of both confusion and interest. The punch he had delivered to Shiro had definitely succeeded in damaging her, he himself however had taken pretty much minimal if not zero injuries at all, making things seem very bad for his unfortunate opponent. It was the fact that she was smiling however that seemed to confuse Suk, he didn’t seem to understand the situation, normally people who he fought against tried to beg for their lives or run away, this one was doing quite the opposite. The bank robber began pacing back and forth, not taking his eyes off of Shiro all the while, trying to figure out what was on her mind. After a few seconds however a wide grin appeared upon his face, an idea had come to his mind. Strangely enough Suk started to dance, he moved back and forth, swinging his arms around and gyrating his pelvis, he was actually a very good dancer however why it was he was doing it right here and now was absurd. His dance switched almost instantly into a rapid stepping up and down while staying still, almost as if he were jogging on the spot, his arms moving up and down by his sides with the rhythm. Suddenly his right arm lifted upwards to point to the side as he stepped to the right then immediately afterwards to the left, as if dancing to an imaginary beat that played out inside his head. He soon afterwards threw his arms down across his body to his sides and took three steps to his right, standing in-between the two pillars that bordered the entrance. He brought right his hand up into the air then suddenly to his left only to move it in front of his face soon afterwards, his hand waved in a circular motion at his right side to join with his hip where his left hand was also, so he could begin to move his pelvis from side to side with his hands on his hips. It may have taken Shiro a while to figure this out but he didn’t have any actual tactic in mind other than just to dance. He was mocking her in his own strange way, and seemed to be enjoying himself too. |

Mikhail almost chuckled at Hyuan's display. Then the second ability activated and a small one escaped his lips. Second ability? Burning up and releasing embers to increase the temperature? Better be more to it then that. "Oh now we cant exactly burn everything like that. Now can we?" Mikhail waved his hand to his side in a dramatic fashion and created two fields that wrapped around each other into the shape of a ball. He designed these ones to pull with gravitational force, causing everything in the zero-g zone to be propelled towards it especially the embers that were heating the area. With the aid of another simple field to push in front of him, Mikhail was the only thing in the area that wouldnt be pulled into the center. He smiled as the temperature started to drop as quickly as it started, all the heat being released from the embers were now forced to be isolated at the center. The boy knew one thing at this moment. In terms of the whole battle their powers were relatively matched in terms of effectiveness. The deciding factor would likely be if Mikhail's concentration and focus to remember all his fields at once could outpace Hyuan's ability to keep his powers active and withstand the pain. That is why the boy was so confident, hes trained his ability to be very precise and use many fields at once. He could easily maintain several more fields than what he already produced. |

While Suk was locked in combat with Shiro, Haru sneaked stealthily towards his twin kodachi in order to retrieve them. Only with them he will have some way to combat the person with a very mysterious ability. But then again, he managed to take the blades off Haru's hand without any difficulty. Will anything change if he wields them again in his hands? Haru gritted his teeth while the thought lingered inside his thought. Back then, he was so confident that he'll manage to subdue the robbers. He was wrong, dead wrong. A sudden pain stung the wound Suk had inflicted, causing him to lose balance and stumbled to the floor. Luckily, he manages to cling on the wall just in time, preventing him from falling to the floor. Clinging on the wall of the main chamber, he walked toward the place where his weapons were, not really far from Shiro. He tried not to fall to the floor while retrieving his weapons. Even if they won't really help against Suk, he felt secured, gripping the cold handles of the blood-based weapon. Turning, he took a glance at the crimson haired gravitymancer. She was the one responsible for creating the diversion, effectively taking out the leader of the gang. He was thankful for that. But he better save the thanks for later, that if they survived the whole thing. Producing the needles that had Suk's blood on it, he dematerialize it into a small sphere of crimson liquid. Running both of his blades through it, a thin layer of crimson film coated the blades before hardening, making the blades appear to be sharper than ever. What is the rational behind Haru's doing? Actually, he just rearranged the particles in the blades so that the blood that has some of Suk's own was mingled and fused into them. By doing so, the hemoglobin of Suk in the blades will seek out its original owner, and will only stop when they're lodged into something. In short, his blades and other weapon he might conjure will chase Suk until they sinks into him. Haru clenched the kodachi tight, gathering his strength in his left hand for a sink-or-swim attack. He held his right kodachi high, and let it drop. As the hilt of the sword was at the same level of his shoulder, he unleashes a forward thrust at its hilt, sending the blade speeding towards Suk's back, where most probably where his heart located like a bullet. Combined with force of the thrust and the attraction force of the particles inside it, Haru doubted that Suk will had enough time to dodge it... ------------------------------------------------------------- Leon had no choice but to oblige the order of the person that looks like he's in charge. He looked around, and noticed that everyone was staring suspiciously at him. He can't blame them though, as it was his fault for barging into the place uninvited. He could at least took a more approachable route, but not with Leon. Leon was too busy looking around when Thomas stopped abruptly. "Oaf!" he bumped into him, causing him to fell to the ground. When he looked up, he found that a stern-faced person, a high-commanding officer by looking at his attire, blocking them, before talking at Thomas in hushed voice. Even if Leon can't hear what they were saying, he clearly saw that the guy found that having a child around was unpleasant. He lifted himself to his feet. Leon always feels uncomfortable whenever anyone treats him like a little kid, even though he's actually already sixteen years old. Sometime he found that having smaller physique compared to his peers was inconvenient, and most of the time he had to act tough to show that he's not some brat. Leon simply watched as that guy walked away. "Umm..." Leon piped. Even if he hates to admit it, he felt small when facing such important figure. Generally, being around with figures of power will always cause anyone to have butterflies in their stomach. "Why am I here again?" he asked, even though Thomas never told the reason why he brought Leon in with him. |

Raiya expected to feel hair coil around her legs at any moment as she fled toward the hole in the wall. She kept her muscles tense, to react to that, but it never came. Before she knew it, she was through. Throwing herself behind the cover of the remains of the walls, she pressed her back against the wall and caught her breath. Seeing her mistress free, Taipar rushed over. Sniffing Raiya all over to check she was okay, the big dog then leaned against her. Ruffling her dog's ears, she pushed Taipar aside and shifted so she could look around the ragged hole in the wall. She could see imediately why the hair hadn't caught hold of her again. It had now formed a cocoon around the injured robber. The coils moving across the floor gave her pause, but she figured that she'd be able to get away from it if it came her way, considering the slow speed it was going at. The next thing she considered were the teen boy and the uninjured robber. They were both floating in mid-air. If what she'd seen so far was anything to go on, then it was the boy that was the cause of that. The robber's inability to control his movement confirmed this. She frowned as she continued to watch. So, they were in some kind of bubble thing. Well, at least the robber wouldn't be going anywhere. Then again, neither would the boy. She didn't approve of his methods, but she might need him. She had no way of telling what was happening in the front of the bank, and it was certain that there were more robbers. If the two of them were the only people free to resist them, she'd have to get his help. That would mean disabling the older robber. The best option would be to knock him out and then tie him up where the hair couldn't get him. There was no way she'd condone killing him, or leaving him at the mercy of that hair. Straightening, she shifted a bit more. Her body was still mostly shielded by the wall, but now she could talk freely. "Hey! Quit playing around. If you're going to knock him out, then do it. We need to make sure how many rbbers there are and find a way to resolve this situation." |

Dam it kid your like a obstacle magnet that didn’t mean she was going to stop, she continued until she arrived at a corridor where she decided to give her self and Gi a breather, Gi’s eyes seem to share the same skill as Kwan Brothers?, whould explain why he’s here even thought he’s the youngest and why Kwan treat him different “The pair were tasked with making sure every single person in the bank was inside the main hall at all costs. Hyuan currently in combat with a child known as Mikhail at the other side of the bank. The child possesses the power of being able to control gravitational fields and it doesn’t seem as if Hyuan is having an easy task of it defeating him, his power is fluctuating wildly, Bae is wounded, he’s.. Oh no! How couldn’t I have predicted this!!” For some reason seeing Gi shocked and scared, creep the hell out of her, he was calmed even when I pointed him whit a gun so something big must have happened [/b] “Jo run towards him but immediately turn right before you approach him, trust me on this!, His mind isn’t his own! He’ll kill everything that gets in his way!” Jo’s emerald eyes widen as she saw the man walk toward them Get a grip “OK”, whit that she dashed toward the man, in her mind ran so many options why didn’t I just shot him from the distance, no just trust him, but he admit himself that he didn’t predict him coming here, dam it trust him as she got close to him sparks ran all over her body and just like Gi said she turned right. I just need a clear shot maybe I’ll be able to stop him she hold back off her impulse and fallowed orders will it be worth it? |

Suk didn’t seem to notice Haru creep up behind him, he just continued to dance, too busy entertaining himself to notice what else was going on in the room around him. At the moment Haru formed the sword to throw at the dancing bank robber, Suk was currently gyrating his hips with his hands up upon his head, fingers feeling down through his extremely over styled hair. It seemed guarantied that the blade would hit, Suk was completely unaware as to it’s presence, completely defenceless and completely unprotected from any attack that would strike against him. It was in essence a perfect assault, however Suk had already proven that he was quite a different sort of opponent already. Time almost seemed to stand still as the blade made it’s way towards Suk’s back, he continued to move on the spot performing perfectly timed dance move after perfectly timed dance move. His hands slowly raised up into the air past his head so that he could begin gyrating his pelvis in small circles, pivoting his feet around on the spot while he moved. He continued to move in this way, his body shifting side to side slowly with the actions of his dancing. It was at this point that the unthinkable, the improbable happened. The second the sword reached his back Suk’s seemingly randomly chosen dance moves caused him to move his chest just far enough for the sword to fly straight past him, cutting it’s way past his side however with the momentum behind it the sword simply continued on it’s way. Now however it was flying straight towards Shiro. Suk continued to dance, blood dripped down the side of his body although he didn’t seem to mind. A confident smirk was printed across his face exposing his white teeth, his eyes still closed as always. ---------------------- “Yes, why is he here?” The intimidating Captain Hughes asked in a stern sounding voice, peering back behind him directly at Leon in the process, “I’d love to find out.” Thomas moved to the side to stand somewhat between the Captain and Leon, his arm out to the side protectively in front of the boy. Seeing this Captain Hughes shifted his attention back up to Thomas, his expression that of anger and somewhat frustration although Thomas just seemed to smile back as before. The negotiator certainly seemed to be able to keep his calm in these situations, which was especially useful as Captain Hughes was certainly a strong seeming individual by no stretch of the imagination. To stand up to someone such as him even with Thomas’ perceived authoritative power, it demanded a serious amount of guts, something which he certainly had an abundance of. Several police officers had even turned their attention towards the pair, some even who had the job of standing guard in front of the bank turned their heads behind them to see what was going on despite the intrinsic job they were expected to do. “It’s very simple, those inside the bank have made it very clear that they do not wish to speak with us which leaves our only alternative to speak with one of the hostages. Now to be able to let yourself trust someone with your life if a long and steady process and time which we do not have..” Thomas explained, his mood somewhat serious despite his cheery demeanour, “This child however I assume has already gained that level of trust with his friend, or is at least closer to it than I would be. Which is why, if he so chooses to, he will relay my instructions to him.” Most of the police officers who had been listening in on the conversation reacted to this bold plan of Thomas’, some quite differently than others. While some seemed angered and put off by this idea some others were grinning and nodding to one another, agreeing with the negotiator. It seemed there was no single opinion amongst the officers in the general area, Captain Hughes however seemed definitely against this idea, as his already furious mood had heightened ten fold to the point that his face was starting to go red. Thomas peered behind him towards Leon, a grin upon his face as he gazed confidently back at the boy. “What do you say?” He asked quietly enough for only Leon to hear, “You’ll have to put up with a boring explanation of our Intel on the targets powers and history and the layout of the building, but your help will severely help us out.” ---------------------- The bank robber Hyuan, trapped within the gravitational fields around him, continued to burn his own body away with each passing second. Even when he was drawn into the single gravitational field he didn’t stop this somewhat strange Meta Power, red hot ashes sprayed off of his body only to be trapped a few meters in front of him causing a single burning red sphere to form between Mikhail and himself. Within seconds his body was completely disintegrated leaving no trace behind but the now white hot glowing sphere of mass in the centre of the room. Whether it was liquid or solid was unknown as the gravitational field it was caught in had pressed it down so tightly that it did not move even an inch, what was known however that it was incredibly hot, without any sign that it would cool in the next few minutes or even hours. Perhaps this was Hyuan’s Meta Power? A self induced suicide technique only to be used as a last resort that somehow backfired? Whatever the case Mikhail would get nowhere by staying in the position that he was in now as sooner or later he would have to drop the remains of the bank robber. Or do whatever else he had in mind. Now the room was quiet enough for the rest of the bank to be heard from the office Mikhail and Raiya were in. In the distance people were screaming and panicking although this seemed a very long way away. One thing was definitely clear over these sounds however, very clear indeed. It came from only a few rooms away, directed towards someone else yet still terrifyingly fierce. It was the younger bank robber, he had found someone else to torment. “How do you like that then you little punk!? Hurts doesn’t it! Both of you get ready for a lot more of the same!!” ---------------------- The younger bank robber known as Bae was blinking as Jo made her way towards him, pulling Gi behind her in the process. He was slowly waking up, his eyes rolled back into the correct position where they belonged only for him to look straight upon Jo in front of him. He grinned at the sight of this. It was not a grin of someone who had just seen a friend however or even a grin of someone confronting an enemy, this was something else, it was almost maddened with such a fierce look in his eyes. There was something definitely wrong with him however Jo had no time to find out what exactly this was for Bae had already started to act. In a split second his hair grew sending strands of hair out in all directions, clumping together to form razor sharp spikes that stabbed against everything around him making a pincushion of the walls and objects in the room. They just cut through everything they touched as if they were nothing before them, the hair went through walls, the ceiling, framed glass cabinets holding trophies and awards dedicated to the bank were riddled with holes although the glass itself didn’t break split or smash. It was just so fast an action that what had been cut didn’t even have time to react. What was worse was that several spikes were heading right in the direction of Jo and Gi without any sign of altering course. In the split second that these spikes headed towards the pair something miraculous happened, a wave of green shot forwards coming straight from the eyes of the young boy Gi, his arm shot out to the side slamming his hand directly into Jo’s ribs. Gi had moved straight in front of the girl who had previously been pulling him along, his body now right in front of her own with his arms outstretched to protect her after he had attempted to push her out of the way. His eyes closed tightly as he seemed to await the inevitable. Blood splattered across the walls staining it crimson red. Gi trembled, his eyes still closed and his teeth clenched tightly. The spikes of hair that had shot forwards towards the two were now imbedded in the floor behind them, blood trickled down one of the spikes where it collected upon the tiled ground. “You dying would not benefit us all.” Someone coughed out inches away from Gi, “That’s why, you should not do that again.” It took Gi a few seconds to realise it, but he was not the one bleeding, he opened his eyes however this was of no use to him. Frantically he looked from side to side to try and see what it was that had happened to save him however his blind eyes could not fall upon anything. The spikes had all been moved in such a way that they missed both Jo and Gi by inches, held upwards and out of the way by someone new, his hands both bleeding due to the action of grabbing the spikes in mid air. This boy was dressed in a school uniform typical to AHS, his black hair layered in large spikes that fell down to completely block his eyes from view. He was slumped forwards as if drained from the effort of what he had just done but unable to fall as a single spike had forced it’s way clean through the boy’s shoulder and was now imbedded into the floor behind the three. A trickle of blood dripped down out of the corner of his cold emotionless lips. He had just appeared from nowhere, although at a heavy cost. Although Jo and Gi would not be able to see it as his eyes were constantly blocked from view, he peered to the side to look at both of them. “I am Jarreth DeRothate. I‘ve, been following you two, for a while now.” He said softly, remarkably calm under the circumstances, in fact his voice didn’t seem to hold any emotion behind them at all, “My Meta Power is to completely conceal myself from view, I used it the second this all started and have been keeping a low profile since.” Suddenly Jarreth clenched his teeth together tightly in pain as the spikes of hair shot back towards the younger bank robber, pulling through the hole in his shoulder and causing more blood to spray out in the process. The second it had removed entirely Jarreth fell onto his knees, his right hand lifting instantly to grab the wound to his left shoulder. Bae however showed no concern for him however, he just stared down at him from his position some five or six meters away, a huge maniacal grin upon his face. The area surrounding him was literally covered in holes at this moment, brick dust poured down through the ceiling in several places above the bank robber. He had definitely caused some serious damage in such a short amount of time, without any damage of strain to himself in the process. “How do you like that then you little punk!?” The younger bank robber yelled furiously, his words filled with malicious intent, “Hurts doesn’t it! Both of you get ready for a lot more of the same!!” |

Fate... destiny... the two were strange factors when it came to a person's life. Shiro... or rather, she and Gemini both knew and well understood. They once held the responsibility to control one's destiny and follow the lines of fate for all mankind. As Shiro's eyes narrowed while Suk began to dance, the boy from earlier had decided to make his move. The hyper-active adrenaline rushed woman took that time to study every single aspect of Suk's body, her expression still holding that lustful grin. Every single movement he made, every absurd pelvic thrust, every emotion his face expressed. As the blade reached his back, it seemed as though luck... fate, whatever higher power it was, decided to intervene. His hips moved in a way where the blade did not even seem to phase him at all; in fact, it missed him by mere inches. Those thin brows of the sapphire-crimson mixed colored haired girl twitched ever so slightly. The blade came rushing toward her, but with that adrenaline pumping full tilt, her right hand shot out just in time to catch it; handle first, spun it around to remove the momentum, and rested it at her side. "Interesting," Shiro commented. Yes, it seems the Goddesses of Fate truly had it in for her; it was only a matter of time, was it not? Their intervention of her abnormal life seemed futile to resist against. This man held a similar ability; to control one's own fate... perhaps, a precognitive ability. Shiro had known that such ability; there were quite a few variations. One could dwell their sight into the future to predict certain events, vague as they may be. Another with such an ability might only be able to see a few seconds into the future; such an ability would turn Shiro's own hyper adrenaline and highly combative reaction time into mere child's play in defending against. The crimson eyed woman assumed he held the latter ability; it all made sense. Still, with every ability a meta-human had, there was a weakness to it. With all sorts of precognitive abilities, it held one very great weakness. For every look into the future they made, that future no longer existed; every time someone glanced forward in time, time itself would change. A sort of butterfly effect, in a way. Even as a Goddess of Fate, Shiro had known well that precognitive abilities were stepping over the boundaries and laws of Man, God, and even that of beyond. Shiro had seen first hand what happened to those who over used their ability in looking into the future. Step over the line too many times, and you wouldn't be able to cross back. Fate always caught up to those who fought against it... Shiro herself had claimed those lives herself in her past life. Shiro shifted her weight, the sudden lust for battle being clouded over by reason. One hand rested on her hip while the other held the hilt of the blade that currently leaned on her appropriate shoulder. Her tongue ran along the top of her teeth, a look of thought processing upon her features. Yes, the man continued to dance. Was he trying to taunt her? Upset her? Normally, it would have worked, but the sudden interest she now held in figuring out the exact power of the man flaunting before him far surpassed any other. Oh, if only she had her former powers... it would be a great disaster to watch. An easy pluck of the man's string would force fate and destiny to quickly sever the man's life force. No mater what path he attempted to avoid, his fate would have been sealed. Suddenly, Shiro blinked. Utter perfection? She wouldn't call it that... but, it was just too good to pass up. Besides, what the hell did she have to lose at this point? Those crimson eyes... they faded; a dull white, which normally would change to a sapphire color, indicating Gemini, her other personality's presence, shifted to a more pale, almost silver-blue tint. It was a strange eye color, really; it held no real distinctive color. Perhaps a variation of hazel; small bits of faded red on the top of the iris' while a tint of sapphire reach the bottom. They seemed to swirl along one another around her pupil, while a shiny, grayish silver color filled in the rest. Her expression returned to that lustful gaze, as a persona Shiro and Gemini had only recently began to discover in their body suddenly took over. It was a more embarrassing side for both the two entities, mostly due to the fact that they never knew what that side would do, no where it had originated from. Perhaps with two living entities within a single body produced a third... perhaps this personality represented the life that had been sacrificed in restoring life to Gemini's own soul... perhaps it was just a mental illness; multiple personality disorder. Or, perhaps it could be chalked up to the hormones of a normal teenage girl, horny as shit, finally taking over the elder minds that lived within a far younger body. Whatever it was, it now sat in the steering wheel of Shiro and Gemini's body. Those eyes seemed to sparkle with delight, that lustful gaze never leaving. It was far different than the lust expressed during Shiro and Suk's battle. That had been a lust for blood; excitement over finding an opponent who could make her heart beat so fast. This, however, was far different. Those eyes became half lidded as those long legs began to shift toward the man, one step after another. Seduction? Far from it; she had no such ability. Nevertheless, if the man could see the future, then he would certainly find no threat from the woman as she pranced her way like a cougar, hips swaying, the back of the blade grazing her shoulder blade into the tip finally fell. She kept the blade tilted, and with a snap of her wrist, flung the sword down. It just barely pierced the floor by the momentum of the swing, though toppled forward due to a lack of penetration. This unnamed persona approached Suk until she was only a few meters away, and stopped at that very point. Her eyes starred into his, wanting... waiting... needing. They held the desire of any woman who would have been wooed over, picked off their feet, or whatever the hell human women liked nowadays. She was defenseless... and waiting... in four minutes, she decided, she would make her move... and in her mind, she began the countdown. She would move in for the kill... it may not be unexpected by him, but if he saw what her future action would be... her lips slowly raised that lustful grin with each passing second. Yes... as the seconds passed on, that entity filled with the lustful desires that Shiro and Gemini ignored since they had first been 'born' would close in the gap and lock lips with the very man that attempted to take her life! |

Time, what a precious thing a second is all that is needed to lose a flight, a minute to heal a poison, an hour to save a life, its important one always begs for more and waste it as fast as it get it. Why it is that time plays an important part in life what would you do whit more? Today Joanne Byrd was headed for a celebration, what was being celebrated today was important enough for her to leave the safety of the school and dress up, today was her uncles birthday, but while she find herself in a battle for survival her uncle also fights for something else wishing for more time. Time seem to have frozen in place as Jo moved toward Bae, electricity keep running around her body, instinctively avoiding Gi. The rapid beat of her heart reached her ears like a wild drum. The hairs seem to take an eternity to reach them, something that she didn’t expect happen when Gi hit her and puched her making her lose her balance and end up in the floor, a spatter of red stain the walls and part of her face. “You dying would not benefit us all. That’s why, you should not do that again.” A new arrival had saved the brave Gi and the brash Jo. The worlds seem to have shattered as everything returned to normal speed she hear the words of the young hero. “I am Jarreth DeRothate. I‘ve, been following you two, for a while now.My Meta Power is to completely conceal myself from view, I used it the second this all started and have been keeping a low profile since.” “How do you like that then you little punk!?, Hurts doesn’t it! Both of you get ready for a lot more of the same!!” “aaaahhhhh!!!!!, I’ll teach you not to mess around!!!!!!” the four foot six girl stand up and ran toward Bae just be “Gi Pull that guy out of the way and no BUTS!!!!” her goal to make contact whit him any even if it was getting stab by his hair after that she would link to the electricity of the light bulbs above her making her body a walking electric chair, this would potentially short circuit her powers for a while, but it would be worth it. |

Haru simply stared in disbelief when the girl advanced, with her guard lowered towards the man he was battling before. Why'd she do such reckless thing? Has she given up and submitting to Suk, admitting defeat? Or was it a cleverly devised strategy? If so, that means she had discovered Suk's ability, but what is it? Earlier, he had concluded that Suk was super-fast. However, that proved to be wrong when haven't showed any inhuman speed during his battle between Shiro. Perhaps he's a mind reader? No. If he is, he wouldn't be able to dodge Shiro's barrage back then, obviously one could see that she executed them without thinking much. As if he could predict the future... Yes, that's it! Perhaps he's a kind of precog who can see the future. Haru gritted his teeth. How skilled his CQC or his blood manipulation, they are useless against someone who can see through them. He never fought, or would ever think that he'll face a precog, so he's quite clueless about what he should do. Whatever he would throw at him, he'll just slip away from it unscathed. Even so, he didn't stop Haru retrieving his weapon, nor when he was ready to strike. So that's mean his precognition ability has its limit. Maybe the girl had figure this out, so that's should explain her otherwise reckless behavior. Even so, he couldn't be certain of it. Unknown to everyone, the blade Shiro dropped earlier quivered, vibrating vigorously, as if it hunger the blood of his master's foe. Only time will tell when the blade will flew towards its prey... ----------------------------------------------------------------- "Eeeh-!" Leon reacted, truly surprised of what he had just heard. Almost everyone had viewed him as a useless, not-matured brat, but this man actually asked for his help. Even some of the people around them seem surprised. Leon couldn't blame them, what a petite high school could help them in any way possible? His eyes stay fixed on Thomas eyes, as if he was hoping that Thomas was joking. But that seemed not going to happen, he thought. Thomas was dead serious about this, and Leon could feel it just by looking at his eyes. Leon shifted uncomfortably. Never in his life had people entrusted him with such important task. He thought that it was too bothersome for him. He could lose his life just by trying to help rescuing a few scared businessmen. "I didn't have a clue about what you were talking. But if it's about saving my source of free food, I'll do it," he said with a wavering confidence in him. He knew he was inexperienced doing such things, and he could lose his life in the process. But even so, he couldn't just stand aside while his friend gets killed. By just thinking that, his wavering confident steeled and hardened. |

Despite the girl Shiro’s advance towards Suk he did not make any attempt to make her back away or even stop dancing, he simply continued to dance as if nothing were amiss. It seemed as if he knew that she posed no threat for the time being and so treated her as if she wasn’t even in the room next to him. Little did he know that Shiro, or whoever she was now, had a plan in mind. Was he overconfident in his own abilities? It would be hard not to be. Not many others had such a unique ability and possessing such a power would make even the most serious of people relax in their actions. Suk however was hardly a very serious person in his own merit. But who was to say he didn’t even have the right to not be serious? His was a power of extreme strength, the ability to see deep into the future was an incredibly rare one indeed and almost seemed to transform the seemingly ordinary Korean into the status close to that of a God. But with all Meta Powers they were not without their limitations, perhaps it was overconfidence on Suk’s part but he had failed to see the signs so far that his mysterious powers were gradually being decoded by his opponent. Perhaps it was overconfidence on Suk’s part, or perhaps he had, like all of his actions so far, intended this. For a brief second his eyes flickered to the vibrating sword upon the ground, then quickly up towards Haru, a smile spreading upon the corner of his mouth displaying a clear smirk. He knew the sword would soon break free of the floor and fly right at him, he had to. It was a completely random action and yet Suk knew it would happen, perhaps nothing could stop him, perhaps he was invisible. Time ticked away and with every passing second Suk did not stop dancing. The beat inside of his head sped up progressively until he was moving at a much faster speed than before, almost as if he were now listening to a trance song as opposed to what he had been listening to before. Soon it came to one minute from when Shiro had begun counting, one entire minute and still Suk did not make even a single action to attack either Shiro or Haru. Was her plan going to work? If it didn’t the circumstances would be severe, Suk had already demonstrated his ability to alter events into his favour by taking Haru’s swords from him in a split second, perhaps he would do the same before the time was up. At this time he had both his hands up in the air above his head and was spinning around on the spot in time with whatever it was he was dancing to, gyrating his pelvis so to keep up with the movements he obviously rehearsed before this moment in time. And then, something happened. Exactly two minutes from the dead line Shiro had planned, Suk stumbled, his previously perfected dance movements had faltered as one foot stepped in front of the other. His expression had switched to that of surprise, his eyes opened wide and his hand lowered down onto his lips as if he were thinking of that specific body part. After a few brief seconds of thought however, it hit him. His expression of surprise changed almost instantly to that of realisation, he knew he had been caught out and it severely knocked him off guard. It was as clear as day, only one thing could possibly be running through that man’s head at this moment, he had been caught out for the first time in his entire life by walking straight into someone else’s trap. This however was not the worse of Suk’s problems. With a tremendous crunch the sword made by Haru from Suk’s blood forced it’s way out of the tiled bank floor and flew towards the bank robber with fluid grace and tremendous speed. Out of the corner of his eye the bank robber saw this, he kicked off of the ground to try desperately and jump out of the way yet he was not fast enough to do so. He had foreseen the sword doing this however did not prepare himself to get out of the way, now he was standing directly in its path and without the powers of speed in which so many assumed he possessed previously he could do nothing to stop it. Suk closed his eyes tightly as the sword headed directly into his chest, aimed straight into his heart. And yet, it did not hit. Before anyone could even blink, Suk was no longer where he had been, leaving the sword in the centre of the two students where it sunk harmlessly into one of the concrete pillars. He hadn’t phased out of view, disappeared, faded or blinked away, he simply was there one second and not there another. The bank robber was now standing directly in front of Shiro, his arms around her body, his eyes closed calmly, his lips locked with her own. He didn’t even look as if was worried by the sword that had flown across the room and almost struck him despite it happening only a few seconds ago. For a split second he even looked as if he was enjoying this, yet his eyes soon flickered open, shooting a look of hatred down upon the girl he was now kissing. Suk backed away, quickly back flipping to get as much distance from her as possible and landing with his back to her own. He glanced behind at her out of the corner of his eye, the same look of hatred he had displayed moments earlier slowly changed to a malicious looking smirk. A chuckle passed through his lips, which grew and grew to become a bellowing laugh that echoed across the entire hall he stood within. It was a terrifying laugh, like that of a mad man and plenty enough to terrify even the most hard set of people. Unexpectedly though he began to scream, his laugh soon changing to a scream of sadness, tears fell from his eyes and dripped down his cheeks and yet he didn’t stop screaming. His screams soon ended with more laughter, which he calmed down as he could begin to speak, his eyes turning towards Shiro and Haru in turn, his smile returning to his face once again. “So I suppose you’ve figured it out for yourself.” Suk said slowly, his tone was incredibly dark, as if spoken from a tortured mind, “My name is Tokko Suk and I can jump to what I will be doing in events yet to occur because I can see exactly two minutes into my own future.” Tears had begun to fall down Suk’s cheeks again, he was crying as before however he quickly covered this up by laughing, his cruel bone chilling laugh. Perhaps this is what he did to cover up his sorrow, the way he acted, his childish actions, perhaps this was to push back his true inner feelings to where he did not have to deal with them. “And do you know what I see? Every single moment of my life without a moment to rest since I was a child do you know what I have seen?” He asked rhetorically, now laughing through tears “I’ve been hunted down for my differences all my life, the things they’ve planned to do to me, I’ve seen them all. For every single moment of my entire life, I’ve been forced to watch my own death endlessly.” Without warning Suk raised his left hand swiftly upwards, displaying it as a fist before holding his two fingers outwards. He had controlled his emotions and was now smiling quite nastily as he had done so previously, a smile that hid purely wicked intent. “And you want to know what I see for my future now?” He asked rhetorically once again, “In a little under two minutes, both of you will be dead.” ------------------------------ Hearing Leon say this Thomas waved his hand towards one of the nearby police officers, signalling for him to pull the screens around the tent closed, blocking them all instantly away from the world outside. After they had been blocked from view Thomas walked into the centre of the newly formed room, approaching something that seemed to hold specific value. Within the tent amongst computer equipment and other such monitoring equipment was a single fold out table just about the size as a dining room table. It was not the table itself that was important however but what laid upon it, portfolios, folders and documents, which two police officers were pulling out and laying them in order for all within the tent to see. Captain Hughes stood in the corner and watched with a stern look upon his face, Thomas actually seemed serious for now, his normally cheerful expression had faded away as he stared at the documents in front of him. From one of the folders he pulled out a large photo and laid it in the centre of the table, it was a logo. The Korean flag with a pictogram printed over the top, had one been able to read Korean they would have been able to translate this easily, the word was perfection. “The Brotherhood of Human Perfection.” Thomas said seriously and clearly for Leon to hear, “A terrorist organisation lead by Gim Kwan, they believe that Meta Humanity is ultimately held back by the supposed dominance of humanity. Since they’ve shown up they’ve made their ultimate goal very clear, they want to kill every non Meta Human on earth. They’re all fanatical followers of Kwan’s idealistic biased views of society and would follow him to the grave.” After he had explained this much Thomas pulled out another photo and place it down underneath the picture of the logo, it was of a young man with longish brown hair. The photo seemed to have been taken in a prison as he was holding a name card out in front of him and was standing up against a marked out wall to clarify his height. He was five foot ten. His full name was Lee Bae. “This is Lee Bae, a Meta Human with a unique ability. His hair can grow at rapid speeds, forming protective barriers strong enough to stop bullets, stabbing instruments sharp enough to pierce bullet proof glass, blunt objects powerful enough to smash through solid steel, as well as a wide range of other forms. What is especially dangerous about this individual is that his hair acts on its own accord, protecting him from any outside attack even if he does not know about it.” He went on to explain, “A few years ago we got him in for questioning before he escaped our grasp. From that time we learnt that he developed his ability in his early childhood where he was instantly persecuted as a mutant. Soon enough an unfortunate incident occurred in which a group of children from his school, scared of his abilities, attempted to physically assault him. This lead in his hair protecting him by killing all of those children. He has since then been hunted down for these murders which he claims were not his fault. He is psychologically damaged to the point that when faced with the prospect of danger he will relapse and kill everything in the surrounding area, and has done so many times.” Thomas pulled out another picture and placed it down next to the picture of Bae, this one was of an older man although this photo was also taken not from within a police station, but from what seemed to be a spy camera. He was getting inside of a car, looking shiftily around the surrounding area. “Pak Hyuan. He’s the tank of Kwan’s little team, his ability allows him to rapidly absorb mater by burning it and fusing with the broken down carbon atoms. His body is a shell of his true form, because he can absorb matter at such an alarming rate from even the air surrounding him he does not even require his tissue mass to survive, he just keeps the form you can see to blend in. He can also reshape his body to work at optimum efficiency, becoming what he describes as the perfect human. What is more, so long as a single cell of his body remains, he can regenerate.” Thomas continued, “From what we’ve learnt he discovered his ability in his early childhood as well, again persecuted, he was the target of many brutal assaults for most of his life. Eventually in an attempt to take his life, someone derailed a train he was a passenger of along with his parents. The crash severely wounded him and forced him to absorb the matter of the closest things to him, horrifically, his still living parents.. He has since then blamed both himself and humanity for his parents deaths, leaving him very psychologically damaged and incredibly dangerous when angered.” After explaining about the second member of Kwan’s group he pulled out another picture, this time of a younger boy with blonde hair. His picture was also taken from a spy camera as the boy walked into a building, he was standing next to someone, holding his or her hand as they walked inside together, however this person was blocked off from view due to the way the picture was cropped. He placed this one next to the picture of Hyuan, in the same row. “This boy we know very little about, but Kwan refers to him as Gi, he showed up very recently and rarely seems to leave Kwan’s side.” Thomas explained, “He also appears to be blind, which is strange as most witnesses seem to claim that he can see much more than the average human. This has lead us to believe that his Meta power is an incredibly powerful second sight beyond that of our understanding.” Without hesitation Thomas pulled out another picture and placed this one next to the picture of Gi. This time it was a picture of a young man with shocking blue spiky hair, it was Suk. He too stood in front of a police height marker wall, holding a name card, like the photo of Bae. Suk however seemed to be more amused by his situation, and was smiling quite wickedly back at whoever was taking his photo at the time. “Kwan’s right hand man and personal body guard, Tokko Suk. His Meta power is shrouded in mystery as nobody who has learnt of it has lived to share the information. From what we know he seems to have an ability to predict future outcomes and move in order to prevent these from happening, how he manages to do this however he never tells anyone. We did manage to arrest him for a short while however we have become to assume he allowed this to happen intentionally. In order to test his precognitive ability we planned on holding up a series of flash cards backwards and asking him to guess what was upon these cards. Before he even entered the room we had set aside for him he handed us a list of each and every card in the exact order we had randomly stacked them in.” Thomas explained with a sigh, obviously slightly disgruntled the he did not have more information about this man, “He was a child soldier who developed his ability incredibly early on in his life. When his own side decided he was too difficult to kill themselves, they opted to use him against their enemies, for fourteen years. Whatever happened in that time has driven him quite mad, he hides his torment with a fake smile and by acting like the child he never got to be.” Finally, Thomas pulled out one final photo. It was the photo of Gi as before however this time cropped to only show the person who was standing next to him. It was Kwan who had been holding Gi’s hand at the time, he however was staring behind him as he walked through the door. Eerily enough, he stared right back at the forth wall, right back into the obviously hidden camera, as he had known it was there. A rather sinister smile was printed across his face, making him seem as if he was gazing right back at anyone who looked at the photo. “And last but not least, Gim Kwan. The leader of this group. We know virtually nothing about him, his history, his abilities, not even how old he is, he doesn’t even show up on his counties census.” Thomas explained once more with a sigh, “What we do know however is that his ability, whatever it is, places him as one of the highest classed Meta humans we know of. He‘s on the verge of becoming a class A and he knows it. People who have confronted him have been found as gibbering wrecks that never recover, his own people are completely afraid of him, combined with his leadership abilities this makes him an incredible risk to national security. It’s, it’s all related to his eyes, one look at his eyes and you change forever, without even realising it you change forever. It’s as if he can gaze into your soul, strip out everything that makes you you, and leave the remains to wander around aimlessly in our world..” Thomas seemed to be drifting off, his words were rather personal at this point. Captain Hughes seemed to notice this however instead of looking angry or stern he actually stared back with a look of compassion, as if he too understood what Thomas was talking about. The other officers in the room however didn’t seem to share this compassion, they stared back at the man with confusion in their eyes however they soon turned back to their work with one stern look from the Captain. Hughes walked up to the table and leant upon it, leaning over to look down at Leon. Now that Thomas had said all he had to say, it was his turn to enter. “He cannot be allowed to live, if he continues with what it is he is doing he’ll become even more of a thorn in our side. We will do everything in our power to stop him and if Thomas says you can help then you will help.” He said slowly and firmly, “Do you understand?” ------------------------- Gi followed Jo’s order without hesitation, he grabbed Jarreth underneath his arms and around his chest and began to slide him backwards away from Bae. Jarreth didn’t put up any resistance either as he was pretty weak from being stabbed through the shoulder, he just slid backwards on his feet, eyes hidden underneath a mess of black hair. Bae grinned as Jo approached him, his almost maddened grin widening even more so though most would have assumed this impossible. As the girl approached he lunged forwards, his hair instantly growing outwards once more in multiple spikes that stabbed rapidly into every single piece of the hallway that surrounded him as if it were mere paper. A huge segment of his hair however wrapped around his body and span out directly in front of Jo, forming a protective barrier between both Bae and the girl who rushed at him. This protective barrier however was penetrated soon after by the segments of his hair that was stabbing everything around him, turning this shield swiftly into a spiked surface that stabbed out at Jo with rows upon rows of razor sharp barbs. Whether of not Jo had been hit by this attack, Bae fell forwards, stumbling however his hair grew downwards and propped itself against the floor, preventing him from falling. Bae now leant forwards, held up by his own hair however he did not stop laughing through his widened toothy smile. Suddenly however, as if he had realised something horrifying, his expression switched to that of horror. His eyes opened up wide in pure terror and his hands raised up onto his ears, as if he were desperately trying to block out a deafening sound, though no such sound existed around him. “Stop!! Stop!! Stop crying!! Stop crying!!! Why are you crying!?! What did I do wrong!?!” He screamed in agony at the top of his lungs, almost as if he were in pain, “STOP CRYING!!! STOP CRYING!!! STOP CRYING!!!” He didn’t stop screaming. His hands began to move down his ears, causing blood to trickle through the gaps of his fingers and eventually ooze out as his nails tore through the skin of the sides of his face. His eyes were bulging out of his face, his teeth clenched tightly against each other, his face turning red with the strain he was putting himself under. He seemed to be desperately trying to claw his own ears out. His own hair wrapped around his wrists and pulled his hands away from his face to prevent himself from doing this any further, although he desperately tried to reach at his face causing even the strength of his hair to buckle under his effort. It had been previously covered up by his long hair but the sides of his face were incredibly scarred from where he had obviously done this before. |

Jo didn’t have time to stop running and she still needed to have contact whit him if her plan was to work, she dropped into her knees and cross her arms as she skidded toward Bae, smaller the target the less damage she would get. The hair drilled through her skin whit ease forcing her to let out a loud scream of pain. “Stop!! Stop!! Stop crying!! Stop crying!!! Why are you crying!?! What did I do wrong!?!, STOP CRYING!!! STOP CRYING!!! STOP CRYING!!!” The pain was unbearable, Bae screams didn’t help. Her blood drip away while dancing whit the sparks. The world was fading away the pain was to much for her senses or was she giving up to fast. Joanne, I didn’t teach you to give up did I? the familiar voice woke Jo from her dream state Your strong Jo, show him you anger, your strength, your determination The voice in her head where just memories of the past memories of her brother “MARCUS!!!!!” she took that boost of confidence and finished her plan, it was risky but she would ,manage Bae would learn why its bad to put things on the electric socket I just hope the breakers don’t fail before I fry him to death Even if he survived Jo would be tired and her powers would short-circuit rendering useless for a while. |

An initial plan... that is how it had started out. To watch and wait and study movements, that had been Shiro's plan. However, control... it was slowly being lost. Those faded silver-gray hues with tints of both red and blue spiraling about, neither color dominating the other were always present during the change of consciousness. Red faded to gray, then to blue when Shiro allowed control to Gemini, and vice versa. This... state of in between, those very eyes that no longer attempted to switch back and forth... it was the first time Shiro had been visibly watching the actions of her and Gemini's body, but held no control of its actions. Gemini was asleep; unconscious, it seemed, despite Shiro's attempts to question what was going on. Within the woman's mind, it seemed a battle for control developed; Shiro fighting against a nameless, faceless consciousness that now held control of their body at the worst possible time. Shiro's nameless consciousness watched Suk's movements up until the point where Suk had faltered. Those thin lined lips lifted into a slight smirk as her eyes softened. The man seemed confused, for the first time since the robbery had started. His face reflected a variety of expressions before he suddenly faded from existence. Before Shiro, he now stood, his lips to her own and forcing the woman's eyes to widen in sudden shock. For that brief, fraction of a second, Shiro, or whatever consciousness controlled her, felt the man's heart open. It was small, and brief... but it was there. Then, almost with a look of disgust, Suk pulled away. His arms fell from around her body and he acrobatically back flipped several steps away, his back to her own. As the man started his cynical laugh, the sapphire-mixed crimson haired woman turned, her expression mirroring earlier; a faint, lustrous, almost seductive expression, her eyes holding a strong and evident desire. >>“So I suppose you’ve figured it out for yourself. My name is Tokko Suk and I can jump to what I will be doing in events yet to occur because I can see exactly two minutes into my own future. And do you know what I see? Every single moment of my life without a moment to rest since I was a child do you know what I have seen? I’ve been hunted down for my differences all my life, the things they’ve planned to do to me, I’ve seen them all. For every single moment of my entire life, I’ve been forced to watch my own death endlessly.”<< During his turmoil, his expressing of his life and abilities, the woman could only place a hand up to her chest, as though she could sense his emotions through her own. Despite the psychotic nature of the man, those luscious eyes did not turn away, nor even blink or hold a look of disgust or malice. >>“And you want to know what I see for my future now? In a little under two minutes, both of you will be dead.”<< That woman... the unnamed personality that control Gemini and Shiro's body. She moved forward. Again, just like before, one step seductively stepping forward, and again, her expression not showing or expressing any hint of fear. There was no misstep, no offensive strategy; nothing, not even a defensive position. Her heart no longer raced, and the aura that had surrounded her while her adrenaline rushed was no longer activated. Still, she approached the man, her eyes having never left his. "Poor, pitiful soul," her voice was masked over, no longer holding Gemini's soft voice or Shiro's scratchy, low-toned voice but a completely different one. "I too was once tarnished to view the death of countless souls." She took two more steps forward before coming to a stop just a few meters from the man who had predicted her very own death. It was obvious that the man would more likely than not distrust any words that escaped her lips, though if he took any consideration in reading her, it was obvious every word she spoke held truth and sincerity. "I was a controller of destinies; a Goddess of Fate," her voice was calm and collected, polar opposite complexion to the man standing before her. "I was responsible for severing strands and predicting the deaths of countless souls, whether they be evil or completely innocent. Though I held control of my actions, I held none of myself, for it was my own fate to control that of others. Still..." She took another step forward, completely aware of how defenseless she would be should Suk decide to take the offensive. "Like you, I too rebelled against Fate," the woman continued. "I chose not to sever a single strand... I protected the life of an innocent who was destined to die a cruel and undeserving death. And for that, I was stripped of my powers and banished to hell." And again, she took another step forward, closing the distance to two meters. "Tell me," her head tilted to the side a bit. "Have you ever wondered what true despair was? You say you have witnessed your death countless times... have you lived through each one? Have you felt the pain of every death? Have you heard the scream of every death echo within your mind for what seemed like an eternity? Have you ever considered to partake in your visions, to walk willingly into your own death to free you from your pain and sorrow? Hell... it is a similar vision of what you speak... to live your death countless times over. To feel the pain of each and every one... to feel it burned into your very soul." Neither Gemini nor Shiro were able to retain any memory of their trip to hell. It seemed this personality, this persona... whatever it may have been held those very memories within. Her expression was still soft and serene as she took a third step forward, the distance between now a meter and a half. "I was given a second chance of life," she explained. "And though you may be able to see the future, I know the Goddesses of Fate will not allow my life to end here. For, I know they have far worse planned for me in the years to come in my new life... still..." And with that, Shiro took one final step forward, closing the distance almost completely at this point. Whether the man saw it coming or not, it was obvious that her initial plan to kiss him in order to find out how far into the future Suk could see had long since been thrown out the window. Her hand moved up, almost cautiously at first. Slowly, she moved to the side of the man's face, her eyes reflecting every emotion she had spoken. She understood; she understood everything he had spoken. She understood far more than he would even come to know. She had not only seen her own death countless times, but had lived through them during her banishment. Eternity had lasted only fifty years, but time in hell always dragged on. Fifty years could have been a million life times, and no one would know the difference. Her skin was soft as she reached up to his cheek, and warm to the touch. She wanted him to understand that she knew. She wanted him to know that she knew all the pain he felt with every vision he saw. What she saw before her was a tormented soul, and if she could, she would have washed it all away. But she couldn't. All she could do was live up to that desire that burned within her eyes ever since the new persona had taken over. This time, it was she who moved in for the kiss. Yes, he saw it coming, and yes, he may attempt to conspire against it... And with a blink of her eyes, the woman focused on Suk, all the time that had passed merely a moment in time to which she would act. Though none of what had been done had actually occurred, she knew that within that two minutes, she would act that very plan out. Suk had just finished the prediction of her death and that of the other that remained in the room. By now, Kira had hidden herself somewhere out of the multiple-personality disordered woman. Nevertheless, the woman took that first initial step before her lips parted to speak those first words... "Poor, pitiful soul..." ((OOC Note: To prevent confusion, the very end of this is basically a re-wind. Just about all of what was said from Suk's last words to the 'And with a blink of her eyes' part is what Gemini/Shiro plans to do. If Suk decides to stop her before doing it, then obviously he will do so. If not, then expect that to happen. I just left it open considering his abilities, and the fact that he could intervene/prevent her from doing that at any moment)) |

Raiya watched with facinated horror as the larger bank robber disintergrated. She had no idea wether the robber's own power had done that to him, or if Mikhail was somehow to blame. All she knew was that of all the things she'd seen, that was one of the worst. It was likethe robber was being burned alive, only sped up and by something very hot. Soon all that was left was a white hot mass. Raiya turned away and pressed her back against the wall. Whoever had caused that to happen, it was just going too far. If the boy was responsible, there was no way she could work with him. She was just about to call up her courage and find out what had really happen, and therefore make a choice, when she heard someone shouting not far away. It sounded like...no, it couldn't be. Spinning around, she glanced in the office. The younger robber, the one who had caused her so much trouble, was gone! It was his voice she'd heard. He'd found someone else and now that person or people was in danger. Forgetting all about Mikhail and the white hot remains of the older robber, Raiya sprinted down the corridor. She caught sight of the younger robber's back. As his hair spikes shot out, she threw herself through an open door, onto the floor. A spike slammed through the wall and hit the floor, missing her by meer inches. She stayed on the floor, waiting for more spikes. She could hear voices out in the hall, telling her that whoever the younger robber had been aiming at was still alive. Then suddenly, the younger robber started shouting, telling someone to stop crying. This was accompanied by a scream of pain. Raiya jumped to her feet. She couldn't just stay in here, hiding. There was someone hurt out there. Focusing, she drew on her rapidly shrinking reserves. Getting out of the hair's strangle hold had used up a lot of her energy, but she still had some energy left. Forming an energy thread, she compressed it into a weapon ball. If nothing else, it would draw the robber's attention away from the injured person. Raiya smiled a little to herself. This hero complex of hers was going to get her killed one of these days. Stepping out into the corridor, she drew back her arm. She couldn't see any hair forming a shield to protect his back, probably because he wasn't expecting an attack from behind. It was now or never. Snapping her arm forward, she launched the weapon ball at the robber as hard as she could. She aimed for the kidneys, where she could do damage and maybe incapasitate him for a short while. |

((ooc: These are both short posts unfortunately, sorry.)) Suk seemed to know what it was Gemini had planned in his future, he was shaking his head to the side with an emotionally depressed look upon his face as if he were saddened by the thought of her words but unable to allow himself to admit to his feelings. Soon enough however these expressions were forced away to be replaced with an almost maniacal grin that spread from ear to ear. He reached into his pocket and pulled out something from within before flicking it open in one hand. It was a flick knife, the blade was curved and razor sharp, the handle metal and scratched from years of use. It seemed to be stained with lumps of red, obviously this knife was very well used. He began waving it back and forth back and forth in the air in front of his face, covering his malicious grin from view with each pass of the blade only for it to be revealed shortly afterwards. He was mimicking the hand of a metronome, waving the knife back and forth as he paced up and down. Half a minute had passed, time was going forwards and he still seemed content on killing the two. Gemini’s speech had not altered his decision in the slightest. ---------------------------------- The spikes of hair that had struck out at everything around him were immediately set ablaze from contact with the girl who had run directly into him. While Jo was impaled by the spikes of hair they immediately began to melt away sending waves of fire back up towards the younger bank robber. He didn’t even seem to notice, he simply remained leant over forwards with his head tilted downwards as he tried constantly to claw at his face to no avail. The girl Raiya went unnoticed by the younger bank robber Bae however when she threw the sphere of energy at him the hair still spread outwards to try and form a barrier between the oncoming attack and the person it was aimed for. This hair however was still on fire and so burnt away while new hair grew rapidly in a futile attempt to build up a strong defence. The barrier of hair was hit by the sphere of energy and was instantly blown apart sending dangerous energy flying towards the younger bank robber where it slammed into the side of his body. This was the straw that broke the camels back, through the electricity, the fire, and the sudden knock forwards finally the younger bank robber went down. He fell onto his front now completely surrounded by fire as his hair attempted to grow at rapid speed only to add to the fuel around him. Bae seemed to be in a great deal of pain and was screaming at the top of his lungs, rolling around on the floor to try and put the flames out that was now spreading to his clothes and the areas around the hall. Eventually it began spreading up the walls and ceiling around him, starting the beginnings of a huge uncontrollable fire. It seemed however that the design of the building came to his rescue as soon enough the sprinkler system switched on sending water pouring down into the corridor. The fire was quickly controlled, leaving Bae motionless on the ground. He was groaning very quietly, his hair was sopping wet and now burnt off till it was short all over, like a buzz cut, but it was still there. |

A stupid move, a brash decision. The moved had worked she channeled the building energy through her body and to Bae, even thought she’s capable of surviving the shock, but the hear of the flames where a danger. “Must stand strong” When Bae fell to the floor Jo cut her connection and started to crawl away her hands where numbed, the combination of the stab, the bleeding, the heat and the electricity left them in a almost dead like state. Once at a fair distance she stood up “ Dang if I don’t stop the bleeding I’m going to faint , Hey!!! Gi!! Is the other guy ok!!” Her emerald eyes connected to the probably dead body, in less than a minute she was soaked sparks of electricity still jumped all around her body, but she knew that she was un able to tap in to it. She saw the other woman at the distance “ Hey, are you ok” her vision blurred for a second. that trick demanded more from me than I planed |

Raiya jerked back when the robber's hair suddenly caught fire. She couldn't see anything on the other side of him, so she had no idea how it had happened. All she could see was the results. She saw the hair moving to form a barrier to stop the ball of energy speeding toward the robber, but it was consumed by the fire and the hair that replaced it must not have been strong, because the ball crashed right through it. Whatever Raiya had been hoping, she was shocked by how effective her attack was. She watched as the robber toppled forward, into his own flaming hair. Sickened by the smell of burning hair and flesh and the robber's screams, she looked away. She didn't look back until the sprinkler system had turned on, dousing the flames. She saw that allthe hair was gone, and more importantly she saw the people on the other side. Three of them, two of which looked badly injured. Jumping over the softly groaning robber, she dashed over to the others. She dragged off her pack, which somehow had stayed on her back all this time. Skidding to a halt, she quickly opened it and pulled out her first aid kit. Noticing the sparks jumping around the girl, Raiya reached out to touch her arm without thinking. "Are you..." A hot pain lanced up her arm, causing her to yelp. Jerking back, she clutched her hand, which had gone numb, as if she'd recieved an electric shock. Thinking the stranger had somehow attacked her mistress, Taipar jumped between the two girls, snarling. Trying to calm her speeding heart, Raiya laid her hand on Taipar's back. "It's okay. I don't think she meant to do that." |

((OOC: per convo with Hatters - also running seriously short on time as I'm visiting my best friend and doing her wedding planning things.....so sorry about the shortness!! AAaaannnd - Daniel is yet an NPC and probably won't be anything else.)) Today of all days was a no nonsense day. Keigo walked through the strangely overly crowded streets on his way to the bank. There were a few things to take care of and he intended to have them done soon to allow for some time with Daniel who should be meeting him at the bank, along with Keigo's very busy mother. So perhaps it was those thoughts that prevented the well dressed young man from noticing anything out of the ordinary as the crowd got thicker and thicker. Eventually the sounds associated with police permeated his thick brain and the determined boy began shouldering people aside. Two of the most important people in his life were supposed to be here... Spotting a man in a uniform that spoke of rank he pushed past the barricades and grabbed the man's arm, demanding: "What's going on here?" |

Everything felt far, a piercing feeling ran through her head, the water caressed her skin and slowly coil itself whit the blood from her wounds. The Green from her eyes seen to be dulling out clouding, her breath heavy, the sounds where heavy and distant, she could see the other female walk toward her yet everything seem to go so slowly, "Are you..." her body was still, her face blank, the touch from the young woman was alien she didn’t even notice that she had accidently shocked her. The dog snarled, yet she aimlessly moved her hand toward it, the sparks still jumped yet they where in a low intensity, the future mother spoke up "It's okay. I don't think she meant to do that." The gun nudged at the distance, “Careful” her voice empty. Yes her powers protected her from electricity, but it had been more than what she was accustomed she had allowed her self to be hurt just so the energy would be transferred at full. “Careful, be careful” her mind screamed, they needed to know it was important for her to know. She forced herself to regain control “Gi!!!” Edited by Dark Prince, Apr 4 2009, 08:14 PM.
