It was Valentine's Day night, the weather was nice, being not too cool, but not too warm, and there wasn't a cloud in the night sky. The moon was out, but not quite full, shining so bright it was almost as if it were smiling upon the dance. It was like a gift from the gods of love, an utterly perfect early Spring night. Everything needed for young love was present. For the event, the usually drab Courtyard had been decorated, with streamers and balloons everywhere. Red and pink were the major colors present with all the streamers, balloons, and paper cut-out hearts being one of those two colors. The students would find it either heartwarming or sickeningly sweet. Standing next to the fountain was AHS' Special Powers teacher and semi-retired hero, Ryu Musashi, a big, goofy grin on his face as usual. He was looking quite handsome tonight, having dressed up tonight. Of course, it would be difficult to see this considering he was wearing his trusty trenchcoat and had it buttoned up for once. Anyways, Ryu was here acting as a chaparone, being ordered by Principal Roh to make sure the kids had a good time, but not -too- good of a time. Seeing how Ryu was but one person and even he couldn't stop an entire school of horny teens, something even more impossible considering they had invited St. Lily students to attend and were expecting them to come, so calls were made and letters sent. All AHS alummni were invited to/asked to help chaparone the dance, making Ryu extra excited since he would get to see old friends who may or may not still hate him for what he did during the "Ryu Incident". Go had also dressed up for the dance, but he wasn't sure why he had. Standing by the Dorm doors, Go was fretting about what to do. Ryu had given him an order to come to the dance and have some fun with Go agreeing despite having no idea what a dance was. Ryu talked about "dances" like they were the greatest thing ever, so Go got rather excited that he would get to go one. After reading up on it, his excitement faded rather quickly. He could barely look at girls, he was so shy; dancing with them was a whole other issue. Then again, part of him was pretty sure no girl would want to dance with him. Sure, he had inherited Ryu's looks, looking almost exactly like Ryu did back when he was 14 (and still had black hair), but all those good looks were buried underneath countless coatings of nerd. So as Go paced back and forth by the Dorm doors, he suddenly wondered if Kira would be going. The thought of going with her and maybe even dancing with her certainly filled Go with a warm, fuzzy feeling. "M-maybe it won't be so bad..." "Huh, not bad," murmered the wealthy American St. Lily student, Orion Madrox. "This place doesn't smell quite as bad as I expected it to." Orion was most definitely at home in this environment, loving parties and dances more than almost anything else. Parties were definitely in the top 5 on Orion's "favorite things in life" list. Clad in the finest suit money could buy, Orion stepped out of his limo accompanied by an entourage of no less than five lovely young St. Lily females. The young women each possessed things 1 through 4 on Orion's "favorite things in life" list. Stepping on the Courtyard, Orion scanned the area, always on the lookout for new booty. The DJ hadn't started playing the good music yet, so he had nothing better to do. He had completely forgotten about the mission. "Hey you, Cindy, get me some punch," said Orion to one of the random girls he was hanging out with. Hunting for cute girls was thirsty work after all. "Eh? Your name's not Cindy? Whatever. I'm rich and I say your name is Cindy, now stop giving me lip and get me some punch." "Cindy" nodded and sprinted off, high-heels and all, and happily got Orion some punch. For Joseph, this was Hell. Surrounded by weaklings and idiots, Joseph did not know how he was going to survive this without pummeling no less than three pieces of trash. Unlike many of his peers, Joseph hadn't really bothered to get dressed up, simply wearing the St. Lily uniform (which was similar to the AHS uniform except reddish brown color instead of black), glaring at pretty much everyone who came close to him through his dreadlocks. He was cursing Logan for making attending the dance and aquiring information about these trashes a mission. "This is going to be a long night." |

Man, somedays you just regret not hurting someone when you had the chance? Carniku was itching for a water balloon right now just so Orion could get as wet as he thought those girls were. The fact he couldn't find -A- date, let alone 5 Meta-Human girls who all looked pretty stunning was certainly inching up his annoyance surely but steadily. He'd not managed to do too well on the clothing front, he's simply resorted to a white t-shirt and a black shirt buttoned up over it. He looked neater than usual and he'd even made some attempt to make his hair look less like he'd stuck his tongue in an electrical socket and more like he'd been TRYING to look like that. He was a little annoyed that he couldn't recognise many AHS students here other than Go who looked exceptionally awkward. Even by his standards. The one positive side so far was Ryden wasn't allowed to chaperone on accounts that he looked like a deranged lunatic. Mostly owing to the fact he was one. The idea of the dorms looked more promising every day... He was kind of left with two choices now, try and talk to Go or start a fight with Orion. He really, really wanted to do the second option. But he vaguely remembered Logan being incredibly threatening and that Ryu would no doubt be less than impressed. With a weary sigh he ambled over towards Go and gave him a short salute "Yo! How's it going Go... you know what I meant" He waved dismissively and looked at Orion ordering 'Cindy' to get some drinks. If only there was a ludicrously womanising fellow to come in and sweep them all away from him. Carniku glanced at Go, then glanced at himself and sighed. AHS was losing this battle before it even began... |

Vincent walked slowly; hands in his pocket as he arrived at the said location of the dance. To this very moment he couldn't remember why he wanted to come here... Athaleyah hadn't been around for a long time now, and he didn't know what had happened to her. For the longest time the teen had planned to ask her out only to have her disappear weeks before it had even started. Moonlight poured unto his figure revealing his attire. A black dress suit; Unbuttoned of course, accompanied by a dark crimson satin dress shirt that was untucked. He had a loose skinny black tie hanging from around his neck that shuffled to the side lazily as the night breeze rushed past him. His chain that hung out of his left pocket came to rest aside his black dresspants as he came to a stand-still right out of sight from along the dance area. Vince's black dress-shoes scuffled as he did so. Another breeze brought some of the confetti past his body slowly as they spiraled through the air almost as if they were dancing in unison. The sight was almost a work of art in itself. Vincent grabbed at one of the peices and clasped it in his fist, why had he come here? Some distant dream of Leyah when she probably wouldn't even show up? Heck he didn't even know. Well that would be life for someone. He had forgotten why he chose not to show emotion. Once again it proved to him why he chose not to fall in love with people. Sure a peice of her would always be in his heart, but these acts of disappearing grew stale. Well so goes it. at least he could see new love abloom amongst the oth- "VINCENTTTT!!!" Vince turned around at the mention of his name only to be tackled toward the ground by an unknown attacker. A flash of green hair followed by a goofy hat, the voice soon came to rest upon his mind... Zen had arrived. The party boy sat of and helped Vince up with a sheepish grin on his face. Vince brushed some of the dirt and confetti off of his clothes and sighed. He fixed his dressy hat and looked up at the new-comer. Zen threw him the peace sign and sat on the table nearest them. "So Leyah's a no show eh? That's a sha-" He cut off as he noticed the look on Vincent's face. "Don't worry about me Zen... Just have fun tonight, why are you here again?" Zen grinned and tilted his head to the side; "You kiddin? I've never been to a dance before! I'm hoping I can find someone I can have fun with" Fun was love for Zen. Party till the lights go off and then crack a glowstick... That was his way of life. It was an entirely different personality from Vincent's and Zen truly didn't understand it. He just wanted to have some serious fun and maybe find more then a dance partner tonight. Anywho; He shook his hand and jumped toward the dance area to get some punch... Hopefully not spiked. Tonight would be pretty fun for him. |

Standing by the wall, doing his best impression of a beet, was the singular nerd lad, short save for his ahoge sticking out. He was dressed in a fine suit, fine shoes, and a little red bow tie. This was a mission for St. Lily yes, but it was one he failed immensely at already. He didnt have it in him to go and talk to other people, Madarame was just not a social creature. Which is why, sadly. And we do apologize to all attendees to this dance for it. But really, he had to call for help. "Sugoi! So many pretty girls. My friend! This one night will turn you into a man." Diyu. Really, he was the only one Madarame knew, the closest thing he had to a friend off the internet. And Diyu had a proven track record on being at least able to talk to girls. Even if half of them tended to hit him. The tall boy had gotten slightly gelled hair, trying to add to his look of roguish awesome. He wore a white jacket over a purple shirt and white slacks. Because in his mind, that looked good. He also grabbed the little boy's bowtie and raised an eyebrow, asking if 'seriously' in a silent fashion. "Dont make fun of my bow tie." The boy mumbled before falling silently, his gaze going back to his shoes. "We have much work to do." Diyu face palmed, they required a bit more of the female perspectives around to get things going. -- There was one other victim of St. Lily's mission statement that came in with those kids. Yoko, her hair styled up like an angry bird, wearing a black dress cut in slits (of course she wore shorts under it), had found her first victim. See, she wasnt very good at the whole flirting thing. Her idea of finding things out, involved the quiet janitor's closet out back, the one with the chair bolted to the ground and the chairleg of truth. Yes, she planned to steal young boys, bring them back there and beat them till they talked. She wasnt very friendly. Just where to start. Where to start. Ah yes, the one boy she already knew something about. Carniku, neigh unbreakable bones and a real problem with being a defender of justice. Yes, that would be the perfect place to start. Yoko Yadomitsu moved right behind the boy, interrupting one of her school mate's social circles. But that one didnt look too important, or even worth her time in torturing. However, placing a firm hand onto Carniku's shoulder, she popped around the side, a grinning ghoulish smile across her face. "Good evening." -- An AHSer to arrive. Yes, that was what was needed. Part of a couple that until somewhat recently, had not even counted as an actual couple. Jade Togami, finally asked to a dance by what can be described now as her boyfriend. So of course she had spent an entire day as a victim of her sisters to get prepped. She had to do this right and impress the boy. After all, he put up with alot of shit from her. She was wearing a proper red dress, straps clinging to her slight shoulders. Her hair was done in a bun behind her head, with two tendrils coming down before her ears. All her piercings had been replaced with clear or skin color clips, to hide the holes, save for her tongue stud, which could be seen when she opened her mouth. Her nails were trimmed and painted, done up proper as it were. However she entered alone, waiting by the door for Issac to catch up. Nervously tugging on her lip, where the piercing normally was. A bad habit but one even now she couldnt break. The eyeshadow and lipstick that adorned her face was not her own, she thought it looked to happy, to normal. But that was how things had to go for now. |

It was a beautifully decorated courtyard, with all of the typical decorations present and accounted for. No, it was an exquisite, masterful expression of cute with the finest paper hearts, streamers and even balloons. The perfect setting for a little empath to find herself, right? Not really. Unfortunately our dear Constance had the luck of being a bit too close in proximity to one Orion and his harem of cackling females. The disgust written on her face was quite evident as it marred her soft features in to something almost amusing, if you were looking from the outside. With a roll of her eyes she made her way over to the more inviting company of the snack table. A marvelous display of petit fours had been calling her since she arrived. As she gazed upon them Constance almost forgot that she was in Japan. They looked to be the work of a masterful chef, yet as her tiny fingers pushed one past the seal of her lips she was quickly reminded that this was Japan. They weren’t awful or anything just… not perfectly fresh. Luckily the punch bowl was nearby. Now armed with her small plate of cookies and a small smile she made her way in the direction of the one person whose emotions were making even her radar sound an alarm. Namely her fellow classmate and all around sour-puss that called himself Joseph. He was, indeed, an intimidating presence. However that didn’t stop her little high heeled covered feet from leading her body over to him. Perhaps it was the rugged sort of handsomeness about him that intrigued her. She bet he’d be much cuter if he smiled. Alas, no, she just wanted to touch base with one of her own and perhaps convince him not to bust skulls tonight. Her floor length black dressed swished around her feet as she stopped in front of him, a well placed closed mouth smile greeting as always. “Not so long that you can not try to make the most of it and, at least, pretend to have a bit of fun.” It was painfully obvious that most of the St Lily’s students would agree that this mission was a joke, but something told Constance there was much more to it than that. Yet she patiently awaited whatever clever little insult he had hidden in his arsenal and bided her time by adding one last thought. “Qui ne risque rien n'a rien.” Elsewhere there was a brunette girl dressed in a tea rose pink frock with matching shoes that was fussing over the punch bowl and how to correctly pour it without getting the drink all over herself. Such was the plight of Kimiko at the moment. It wasn’t that she particularly cared for the dress it was more about timing. By the end of the night her dress might very well be ruined but it was still early, it had a little life left. Fortunately fate smiled on her and she managed to fix herself a cup without having to wear any of it on her person. Taking a rather large mouthful of the sugar ridden drink her eyes rolled back in to her head before she exclaimed happily. “Ahh~ So refreshing!” |

Kaneda showed up, wearing dark jeans, black engineer boots, and an untucked button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. on his left wrist was a Storm circuit watch, and on his other wrist was a leather strap. The wrist candy covering his plugs was a symbol that he was not fighting that night. The shirt had gray skulls silk printed on it, and it was his favorite piece of clothing. he had decided to go all out for tonight, even going so far as to style his hair and put on cologne; he'd went and bought some Armani that day. Basically, he was a badass that night. he looked around, seeing various people (alot of them pretty girls) dancing and playing around, and he smiled a little. now he was in his element. He usually played the bad boy thing pretty well, and now it was time to make his money. That, and show off how well he spoke Japanese now. Thanks, subbed anime. he walked up to a pair of very pretty girls in tight dresses that looked like they were bored (Or stuck up would be a better term) and smiled at the two of them. 'Hi, I don't think I've seen you two before. Are you from St. Lily's?' They looked at him and smiled. The closest one, who had black hair and was wearing a green dress, offered him a glass of punch, and he accepted. 'youre from America, arent you?' she asked in an english accent. Kaneda smiled. 'Yes, I am.' The two girls looked at eachother and giggled, while Kaneda looked over and saw Carniku. He raised his glass to him, a little informal salute after the events from the other day at the bank. Next to them was another girl with black hair, equally as pretty. Kaneda smiled at her as the girls he was entertaining went of on a momentary tangent by themselves. Edited by Sundog, Feb 14 2009, 03:46 PM.

Ally loved to dress up, probably because growing up she had never had much of a reason to. She had found out about the dance rather last minute; her single minded devotion to her studying had left her out of the loop, but she had certainly made up for the lost time. Stepping back from the mirror she turned this way and that, examining her appearance. Her hair was slightly teased for more volume, the blond streaks in her swooped bang falling just shy of her left eye, the raspberry red of the hardly identifiable brown color had an extra spritz of a glistening spray. Her eyes were painted a mixture of red and pinks with a dark accentuated upper lid painted in black eyeliner. She had broken out her really nice makeup that gave her that certain glow and sheen. Adjusting the top of her strapless dress she turned sideways and examined her figure. Well - she was skinny and her biggest curve was her little lump of a booty, while her boobs hadn't quite yet decided to be anything other than prepubescent sized. Oh well - she couldn't have everything in life. Looking at herself full on she smiled, the reddish tint of her glistening lips adding a touch of warmth to her features, the big, brown eyes glistening. She was wearing a simple strapless, short black dress that fit her like a glove and was nice and stretchy so she wouldn't be just standing tonight. She did like to dance, and she had lived in inner city New York long enough to pick up the moves. Fingers lightly traced the necklace she wore; a large, ornamental black and pink thing that matched the occasion. This was the her that she looked at sometimes and wondered about a future career in modeling. She had the figure, and her face was nice enough - sighing she turned her back on the mirror - her black stilettos clicking on the hardwood floor, and went down to the dance. She paused at the dorm doors, gazing around at the people gathered, some already dancing, most just milling around. She knew few enough people that she was unfortunately just a face in the crowd, but maybe she would see the few people she knew or meet some new people. Smiling at some people clustered around the door she muttered, "Hello," and continued on further into the party, adding to the milling crowd. Passing by a table of refreshments she saw a girl in a very nice dress with a rather pinched expression getting a few cups of punch; she didn't look very happy to be here. Picking up her own cup she absently watched the girl return to what looked like an overbearing, obnoxious jerk of a guy. Sighing, she turned her back on the situation just in time to be suddenly face to face with a complete stranger who grabbed her hand and said a very quick, "Dance with me!" before physically pulling her out on the dance floor. Well - wasn't this a dance? Laughing, her punch cup flying out of her hands and on the grass she was gone, swaying in time to the music and laughing with the complete stranger. The song wasn't a long one and soon enough it was over - she hugged the guy and slipped away. Completely happy with how the evening was going she stepped off of the dance floor and looked around her, wondering if anyone she knew was here... |

"Hey, whatcha dressing up for, Issac?" "I invited Jade out..." It seemed appropriate. He knew he was susceptible to the empathic backlash of more than a thousand people packed into a single venue, but it seemed... right. Valentines was the time where you cherished your loved ones, and that significant other especially. Issac had spent most of the morning and afternoon with his family... of sorts. His two sisters... well, the one tugging on his jacket was his daughter, genetically speaking, but that didn't stop her from being his sister, and the other was more his childhood friend... but they treated each other as siblings, detached from parents of any kind, so they were for all intents and purposes siblings. Issac was dressed... well, just short of formal. A charcoal grey jacket over a plain white shirt, and some black pants and shoes... he was dressed simply if not casually. None of the people he had close at hand - a 12 year old girl, his childhood friend who blew things up with her hands, two mercenaries and the detached second personality of his childhood friend - didn't know how to tie a tie. Of course, he could have asked Jade but that could have been awkward. The reason for which he had no idea as to why. Adjusting his shirt, he started to undo the collar button and winced. Pulling his right hand away, he checked the blood stained bandages around his right arm. "Naru... could you toss me a bandage?" "Sure!" Soon enough, a second later the small cloth cylinder flew through the air, and Issac caught it after it rebounded off his left hand. Undoing his bandages, Issac began to wind the white gauze around his arm, thankful to see the scarred and burnt flesh slowly disappear under the bandaging. He had seriously overdid it a few weeks ago, while fighting in the warehouses with the Marauders. His mind had been invaded, and he was hospitalized later on... plus, his right arm was healing very slowly compared to the rest of his wounds.... Maybe it was because he wanted it there, to remind himself not to be so careless with his powers. Finishing up, he slipped on the loose fitting glove over his right hand, and poked Naru backwards off the backrest of the couch, sending her crashing down onto the cushions below. Smiling as he felt her emotions shock into panic for a half second, before a happy surprise came afterwards. "See you later, take care of Alice for me." Issac closed the door behind him, and headed down to the courtyard. Even if he didn't know where to go, the vibes in the air certainly told the young empath. - - - - - He was there, and even in the jumble and sprawl of the party he could find her. It was probably how they had joined to each other, the latent link between them strengthened by his empathy... she could probably feel his prescence, feel his emotions as well... But that didn't stop him having one wicked backlash from some of the gathering. Picking his way through the crowd, Issac was unsure whether or not he had over - or under - dressed. His clothes could be tidied up in that case, and he had brought a tie tucked in on the inside of his belt. He snuck along, if that could be counted as the case, and tried his best to conceal his presence in this place. Creeping up behind Jade, he quickly took the last few steps behind her, and slipped his hand into hers. He bumped his head gently against hers, and smiled. "Hi. Sorry I took a while." |

(Good behavior at a dance/party was always observed, and normally there'd be an appearance of both Jake Mulcahy and Marina Bluemoon at a time like this to pretty much make certain that such things were going to actually happen...using as rowdy measures as possible. However, for two reasons, neither one of those two would be showing this evening. First, there was the fact that Ryu was heading things at this time. If the threat of explosion on a city-scale didn't cool all head concerned, then nothing would...and Jake wouldn't wanna be near that anyway. The second reason was a bit more on a personal level. To make a long story short, Jake's daughters asked for some privacy on the matter. Either they didn't want to be embarrassed or made nervous by his presence or whatever... Both Som and Elisa agreed on this one thing and Jake was out of the party, stuck home with a beautiful Moonian warrior and... Oh, sure. THAT was a punishment, right? Heh heh heh... So, in the tradition of amusing anime teenagers, Som and Elisa arrived, the milder of the two dragging the decidedly evil one.) Som: Come on, Elisa! Time to wake up and get a social life! Elisa: Hey, I have one! It's called riding a stolen Harley in the bad part of town and stickin' it to the biker gangs! (As you can tell, Elisa did not cling heavily to the hopes of gaining friendly connections with alot of the students at AHS. Unfortunately, her 'sister' decided that she needed more people to associate with so she wasn't as kill-crazy at times. Neither of the two were dressed in anything fancy. And if you tried to make 'em, it wouldn't work out, because they both preferred street casuals over formal wear. Trust any descendent of Jake to be that way... Som was wearing a blue pair of jeans, sandals, and an Aperture Science T-shirt. Elisa wore black jeans, matching sneakers, a navy-blue sleeveless shirt, and fingerless black gloves...which gave off the intention that she had planned to go biking. They were both Moonian, so they were cat-eared, and had both black hair and violet eyes, though their hair was different in length. ((Elisa's is longer.)) This sort of made them like twins, but with alot of differences. Elisa stopped pulling against her sister, but not due to any lack of strength. It's just that, these days, she wanted to be on her good side, so...) Elisa: Alright, alright...but this is probably gonna suck. Som: Ah, quit the evil twin routine and try thinkin' positive for once. (Now, Elisa smirked.) Elisa: Okay, I'm positive this'll suck. Now, let's get it on. (The two of them head in, Elisa immediately taking to a drink while Som has a look-around first. The contrast between the two was scary. Meanwhile, speaking of scary... A demon was coming in! Well, not exactly. No, it was more like a student was coming in that had demonic company of sorts. Anyone - anyone at all - with strong senses and the ability to see other planes might be drawn...to Darrel Anthony Reggick, who was amidst a pact with a being of darkness whose form remains both invisible to the naked eye and even shrouded on the astral plane. He was here...in a stylish black James Bond suit...because St. Lily's had asked him to. His mission, because he chose to accept it, was to mingle and learn things about AHS Nevertheless, the platinum-blonde was also determined to have a good time because it would annoy the hell out of Vex. He and him now shared a mental conversation.) I hate this sort of gathering. Darrel: That's because you're evil incarnate. I'm not an incarnation. That's like saying I exist in lieu of another. Darrel: So, you're your own abomination? More or less. Darrel: Try not to spill any of that on my mission. Just because you hate my having fun doesn't mean you get to screw up the important stuff. And yet, I suspect your fun is tainted already. Darrel: ...I was kinda' hoping Angi would come. A familiar face would be nice. (Straightening his tie, he moved on in to traul for new acquaintences. And actually, he DID see another familiar face, from the orientation meeting at St. Lily's... Still, on to the mission. And while he did that, welcome be to the grand guitarist, Eddie Rabbleshlack! Dressed in his usual clothes, plus a big top hat and sunglasses, he nodded over at Ryu with a grin.) Eddie: Heyo, man! There any chance I can not only be a part of the dance, but play for it as well? I haven't had a good gig in a while now. (The Rabbleaxe was on his back. That awesome guitar never left him. Fortunately, he didn't have his katana on him or anything else that seemed obviously dangerous. A music enthusiest like him, though, could definitely come in useful. For now, though, his next move actually depended on Ryu.) OOC: Jake character count = 4. More in use only if it seems wise and not awkward for me. |

Chaperone duty? Him? He hadn't done anything like this in a couple years, but Neo was used to overseeing people these days, so he wasn't nervous about this. Promising that he would be there, he stepped in looking rather sharp for a change. Buttoned up black suit and tie and a freshly ironed white shirt, he grabbed a cup of punch as he looked over the festivities. It was quiet at the moment, but when he was told about the possible volatile element that was invited, he made sure he was prepared for practically anything. And that's when he just started walking amongst the already collected crowd. Speaking of "volatile elements," another of the St. Lily's students entered the courtyard after the others. This one dressed moderately, in black Khakis, a white shirt and red tie, complementing Yusei's eyes. His hands in his pockets, and without his best friend for a change, he took this mission almost under protest. The only good part about this is that he's getting info on the other school. Some of his school mates enjoyed himself, the others... not so much. There wasn't much happening at the moment, so he leaned against the wall to wait for things to really start. Pick and choose his first target, or let someone come up to him. Either way, he'll get something done tonight. How did I get the night off? I was completely expecting to work. Kenji was surprised that the manager gave him the night off, even more surprised that his co-worker didn't set it up for a change. But there he was, standing there in a nice black suit and red tie, he exited the the dorm building and and walked to the dance. The music was nice, and the finger foods that they had prepared were pretty decent. He wasn't playing at the moment, but it was probably for the best. Besides, as he was walking to one of the empty tables, Kenji looked over and thought he saw Ally out of the corner of his eye, dancing with someone. For a moment, he thought that he was just crazy, but when he took another look... nope, not crazy. She really was there, and looking like a free spirit.... or something. And as she stepped off the floor, he walked over to her. "So, I'm not that late to this, am I?" |

It had been another typical day for Viktor, organizing his belongings and studying for classes. He hadn't even realized there was a dance going on untill it was already underway. Not being one to miss out on good music he quickly changed from his normal attire into a simple blue striped button down shirt and black slacks. His hair, which normally falls messily to his shoulders, was quickly done up in a small bun revealing his face which was adorned with his typical yellow-tinted glasses. He left his dorm room and ventured outside where he saw the sprawling tangle of the crowd. Viktor smiled to himself, not one to typiclly dance he still enjoyed these events as it gave him the opprotunity to be around many different people. Viktor moved effortlessly through the crowd as he made his way to a small area where it was less cramped. Gazing across the courtyard he watched as the horde of bodies seemed to move as one giant organisim. Unconciously he began to bob his head to the beat of the music as he leaned gently agians the wall of the building behind him. It was fine by him to just be able to rest agianst the brick structure and listen to the commotion, but he was up for anything really. Edited by nid-vaeda, Feb 14 2009, 10:40 PM.

((OOC: From my phone, excuse bad spelling & grammer :P )) A smile played about her lips as she glanced around her - recognizing no one. It seemed like there were far more students here than what really were at AHS. She puzzled over some of the strange uniforms she saw but did not give too much thought to it. Running a hand through her long hair she was toying with the idea of snagging some food when she heard a voice she recognized. Kenji: "So, I'm not that late to this, am I?" Spinning on her heel, she broke out in a full smile - "Kenji! Hey!" Without waiting for more of a greeting she threw her arms around him in an enthusiastic embrace. "I didn't think you'd be here," she added pulling away. |

Viktor's sight passed by the gathered masses until they set upon an odd vision. A limo pulling off. It retrospect it shouldn't have been that odd considering the cost of attending the school, but for some reason it stuck with him. His eyes followed the passenger who had exited the vehicle. Viktor shook his head at the guy beging followed by his small entorage. Coming from a rich family Viktor was always astonished by how people flaunted their wealth. He didn't understand it nor agreed with the practice. Deciding to explore the festatives a little furthur Viktor pushed his body off from the building wall and ventured into the mass of people. He walked up to the table filled with different foods and snacks. He smiled to himself as he took a cup and filled it with punch. Taking a sip from the cup his eyes scanned the group again. Not really looking for anything in particular he began walking randomly through the crowd. It was a past-time for him at large gatherings to just venture into a crowd and observe them. It calmed him in some unexplainable way. Looking up Viktor took notice for the first time of the meticulouse decorations all around him. So many hues and variations of pink and red, not typiclly colors he enjoyed. It was rather over whelming, yet Viktor gave props to those who had decorated the courtyard, with all the streamers and balloons Viktor spoke to no one in particular "Must've taken a long time to put it all together" His voice most likly unheard by anyone due to the commotion of the party. |

She didn't really understand it all. Love... emotions... caring for more than a friend, it was all new to her. Still, that didn't mean her lack of knowledge would allow her a time to pass up the opportunity to show off her dance skills! Quite frankly, dancing wasn't something you did with your lover, it was something you did with someone you were compatible with. Compatible, of course, meaning that your body movements were completely synchronized... like swimming, or gymnastics! Quite frankly, it was hard to get her mind to think of anything other than physical activities... well, of course unless it came to something that involved the opposite sex. That little talk, of course, had never been brought up to the young Kira Rounin. As such, when she appeared at the dance, and there were a variety of people not dancing, and only a select few out on the dance floor. Kira was specially dressed this evening; a crimson gown wrapped firmly around her figure, strapless and matched the curves of her young body. Those pale-violet hues seemed to shimmer with pure sunlight as they danced about happily, attempting to seek out any familiar faces among the crowd. Her hair was put up nicely; thin trails of scarlet moved down both sides of her face, framing it rather nicely, as the rest was held back into a bun with a shirt tail reaching her upper back. Her roommate, Gemini, had even applied makeup, something Kira was relatively new to. Sure, like most children, she had been one of the girls who had sneaked into her mother's makeup drawer and drew all over herself. However, she was finally reaching the age of womanhood, and who better to spend it with than someone who had already gone through it... twice. That little aspect, of course, was unknown to the crimson haired teen. Still, the vertically challenged young woman would not allow herself the pleasure of allowing such an evening to go on any longer without at least finding a decent dance partner. That, of course, led to Gemini, or currently body-controller rather, Shiro's own predicament. Sure, she was the watchful eye that kept track of her best friend's daughter, but reaching that... frustrating age once again was working her own strange of various cycle changes and hormonal swings to the point where she just wanted to grow up already. Those normal sapphire hues had long since reverted to a more dark shade of ruby, and her sapphire-crimson mixed hair brushed smoothly, within its normal look. Her attire, however, did not seem to match many of the other 'holiday' dresses. It was a green ensemble, that curved against her body, leaving her mid to upper back bare. Quite frankly, she wasn't sure why she had taken over; this whole 'lovey dovey' shit really made her stomach queasy. Thus, she tilted her head back and stretched her neck. Her eyes closed and she allowed the weakling to come forth. Shiro doubted Kira would need much protection, and if need be, she could always kick old blue eyes into the back seat whenever. As her stretch concluded, those crimson eyes were replaced by a hue of sapphire once again. The girl glanced about, having been conscious of the situation. Still, a dance was something relatively new to her, and a Valentine's Day themed dance... well, Gemini just so happened to remain on the side where most of the women awaited their counterparts for the fated question, allowing herself to slightly drift along with her thoughts... Those crimson eyes fell upon familiarity and recognition flashed against her expression. A smile expressed upon her features shortly after as she made her way through the crowd of non-dancers, passed the courtyard, beyond the fountain, where she hastily spotted Ryu first. "Ryu-sama," Kira respectively bowed to the elder first before her smile landed on Go. He was near the dorm doors, and she could only wonder why he was by himself. Of course, shyness was the first thing that came to mind. "Hi, Go-san." It wasn't that she didn't understand the whole interpretation of Valentines Day, or love for that matter either. Sure, she knew what love was. However, those emotions were still something far new to her; hell, she hadn't really even experienced a first crush yet. While her fellow classmates all fell for their teacher or upperclassman for their first crush, Kira had more of a tomboy growing up, in the aspect that she had been involved in a variety of sports. Of course, that was until gymnastics. Still, the whole shyness around the opposite sex, or around someone you like, really didn't effect Kira since she really hadn't started to think that way just yet. Quite frankly, a dance to her was simply a display of one's ability to be a compatible dance partner and show off one's skill in rhythm, and so on and so forth. Of course, it was also a fun activity as well. Thus, Kira had joined Gemini in taking dance lessons over the winter when she first arrived. "Would you like to dance with me, Go?" Kira asked and extended her arm, pretty much shattering the standard 'boy asking girl' approach that the Valentine's Day theme was attempting to bring forth. She really didn't bother waiting for an answer as excitement seemed to drive her instincts. "Come on!" She knew the boy was shy and in order to break him from that shell, she hastily grasped his hand in hers and yanked him across the courtyard, passed the fountain and rushing straight passed Ryu again, to an opening where the music was best heard. When she turned back, a bright smile was upon her features, that scarlet lipstick a bit brighter than her hair color and a light touch of mascara bringing out those palish-violet hues in a very soft light. Her arms lightly reached around his neck as she waited for his hands to be placed on her hips, obviously assuming he knew how to dance... Edited by Kira Rounin, Feb 15 2009, 02:14 PM.

A man in dirty robes stood in the corner, usually the safest place at one of these events as they usually ended in fighting. Especially seeing as some of the Lillies had decided to attend....there was one who his eyes drifted to every three seconds...Joseph. Ever since the Onyx incident he had wondered just what made the boy tick...and well, he was scared shitless of him and how powerful he was. But...Joseph could have killed him that day...he didnt. There was a reason and he would find it out. For now....principal roh had also stuck him with guard duty. As for the lillies....Yasuo Ochida stood awkwardly in a suit that was a little too tight...right next to Joseph. "Hmm..." He mumbled thought, not looking at Joseph, but just lazily staring at the crowd. "How do you suppose dancing came about? Did someone decide that moving rhythmically to music was fun? Some did it as praise to they're gods, or celebration." He looked up at the ceiling carefully, as if looking for something. "Do you think Cupids arrow could actually kill you? Seems like it wouldn't do much good shooting an arrow into someones heart to make them fall in love..." Natsumi the wall flower, that was her title back in her old school...she never much liked dances. Today she was here to investigate AHS, but she felt...distracted. She got an odd fuzzy feeling on this day...the concept of love notes, dancing, chocolate, a love confession...she nearly had to suppress a giggle as she thought of some cute boy asking her to dance...yeah, this was gonna be a long night. |

"Oh shit..." Carniku's sheer terror at seeing Yoko again dwarfed anything else in his mind as he flattened himself up against the wall and stared as unpervertedly as he could at the only girl he had in his mental check list as both 'hot' 'dangerous' and 'never, ever, EVER!'. He tried to think of a suitable way to get away without actually hitting her since he was preeeeettty confident smacking a St Lily's student would result in expulsion from life. He finally remembered he'd drifted over to Go and turned to ask for his help when he saw a girl dragging him off to dance and his face suddenly dropped in an unintentionally comical style as he saw a girl try to get him to dancing. GO was getting more attention than him? SERIOUSLY!? Freakin' GO! That was the biggest shot to Ego he could ever have, nothing the psycho bitch could pull out would top that. He sighed, looks like he was stuck. She must be a St Lily's student which meant the best he could do would be to find Logan and beg for assistance. He'd be quite content to smack his forehead into the ground if that was what it'd take to get some help but didn't look like that was all he could do. He'd have to man up and try to deal with this the most sensible way he could... But then a voice spoke up in his mind. An INSANE voice. Everyone's got one, they say things like "Hey, you could push that old woman onto the bus and make her ride it to the next COUNTRY". Carniku's was saying something much worse but he never got the chance to stop it as he blurted out suddenly and with no thoughts for his own safety "So I guess you want to dance? Alright, let's go" With a worrying calm settling over him as he practically CHANNELED Otoya, he made to take her hand and lead her onto the dance-floor calmly and assuredly. His face didn't betray the thought he was calmly thinking "What the F*CK am I doing!?" |

"Hey guys." Said Sting, ambling casually into the courtyard. Those nearby flinched away reflexively, knowing all too well that it was not good to be near Sting when he was making an entrance. The handsome young man surveyed the cringing party-goers with a slightly amused expression. "You waiting for something?" When they realized nothing had exploded or caught on fire, people cautiously got back off the ground and dusted themselves off. Sting grinned, and said "Lucky there were no windows around, huh?" With that, and a sudden half-lunge that sent people falling over eachother, Sting marched into the middle of the crowded dance. Decked out in a pristine linen shirt, perfectly disorganized hair, and matching ebony vest and pants, Sting did not go unnoticed among the female partygoers. He relished the fawning stares and shy glances that he recieved as he sauntered about. But although he responded to each with a wink or a seductive grin, there was only one girl that Sting had on his mind. But he'd have to find her first, before he could go ahead with what he had planned for the night. "Izzy, hey!" Sting said, grinning widely, as he appeared as if by magic behind one of his best friends at AHS. He put his arm around the shorter empath's shoulder and pulled him close. "Good to you, bud. Ah, and you're looking quite lovely, Jade." Especially since she didn't have a cigarette hanging from her mouth, he didn't add. "You two have fun now. Oh, and also, have you seen Alyss? I tried to get a hold of her, you know, text message and whatnot," Well that, and the horrendously adorable teddy bear and mountains of candy he had sent her, topped off with a Valentine's dance invitation crafted from woven roses. "Anywho, she's not here by any chance, is she?" ---------------------- "Hey, Constance, right?" That was Leon Alexei Rasputin, one of St. Lily's undercover students, and probably the largest. As always, Leon towered over everybody around him, an effect that was possibly enhanced by the fact that he wasn't wearing his usual baggy clothes. Instead, he had on a nice black tuxedo, with a red bow-tie that matched the color of his ever present bandanna perfectly. The black mess of hair that normally resided atop Leon's head was carefully oiled and slicked back, save for a few errant strands that dangled down over his eyes. Leon thought he definitely looked good, and indeed, it had taken a valiant effort to make such a dynamic change from his usual shabbiness. Unfortunately, the effect the nice clothes had on him was similar to putting a top hat on a grizzly bear. Leon was cradling a hefty class of punch that would have been tricky to carry for a normal person but was nearly lost in his paw of a hand. Across his face was plastered an easy, innocent grin, and his eyes were locked on Connie's (Difficult to pull off, as he was forced to bend his head down noticeably to look at her while also trying to do it discreetly). "Um--" Leon blushed a bit, and he scratched thoughtlessly at his sparse chin fuzz. "--Are you having fun at all? It's a nice dance, really." Leon didn't make any claim to understand women. To him, they were like a different species, one that made him turn red and scratch himself a lot whenever he was around them. ------------------------ And lastly, attending her first dance at AHS, was Rebecca. Her entrance into the courtyard alone was enough to draw stares from many nearby males, and her outfit was enough to keep their slack-jawed stares locked on her, to the ire of their irked girlfriends. Rebecca's attire consisted of a white and lavender Qipao that displayed her muscular yet voluptuous figure for all to see. The light color of the sleeveless chinese dress stood out sharply against the dark tan of her skin and the inky blackness of her brainded hair which was thrown coyly over one shoulder. All in all, it was definitely the most feminine thing Rebecca had ever worn, and so obviously, it wasn't her idea. Rather, it had been the idea of her smaller, more petite companion, who now skipped out from behid her to take in the sight of the festivities. "Wow, it's so beautiful!" Kitty cried, glancing around at the laughing, dancing couples and the drifting streamers. Both her hair and her own Qipao blending in perfectly with the various valentines decorations: both were the exact same shade of bright pink. Unlike Rebecca, who had firmly resisted doing anything with her hair other than putting it in it's usual braid, Kitty had done her shoulder length locks up into buns on either side of her head. "Isn't this going to be fun, Rebecca?" The taller Indian girl crossed her arms against her chest (giving several boys nosebleeds in the process) and gazed around with a slight sneer. "It's all so.... Pink." She replied, for lack of a better description. "..Er, no offence." But of course, Kitty, being the exciteable girl that she was, barely heard her. Instead, she punched the air and said, "Right then! Let's go get us some men!" Rebecca didn't get a chance to protest: Kitty grabbed her hand in a vice-like grip and dragged her into the dance. Rebecca found herself being shoved in front of a cocky looking guy with a white jacket and oily hair (Diyu, obviously. Irony never lost interest in Rebecca). She froze as Kitty immediatly scurried off into the dance to find a partner herself, and then slowly eyed the young man suspiciously. "Er, hello." |

St. Valentine's day. Oh, the irony. It was in fact, truth that Noah Hilton had been on the commitee helping set up for this soiree, And it was also truth that she generally had nothing to do with this mushy sort of Hallmark holiday. Yet, here she was, because she had nothing else going for her. So why not enjoy a warmer spring night under the stars? For the occasion, she wore her long, auburn hair half up and down, teased with volume, adorning her face in soft curls. Her make-up was simple, soft rose colors and warm pinks, with a slick cat eye look on her baby blue hues. A little mascara on her long lashes and some peach tinted lipbalm. Keeping it bit natural, since her skin was rather fair. She donned a light pick number with a slim cut, flaring out at the knees, and strapless too. She was feeling fierce, and why not. Its not like she had nothing to lose. Sure, she could dance with a few friends, Corey was sure to be there with Noah's best friend Frank, who was likely to have feelings for her. But she also wanted to meet some new people, and mostly enjoy the warm feeling that lingered in the courtyard. It seemed a little magical to her, though she wouldn't ever let it on. She steps out onto the gravel path of the courtyard, admiring the hard work she had done earlier, Hmm not too shabby She smiles to herself holding the plate of brownies she had made and walks over to the punch table trying to find a spot for to place them. As she ambles over looking around the crown for her friends, she stops by the punch bowl and sets the chocolate brownies down. They were so cute, with little heart shaped sprinkles all over the flakey brown tops. Noah then turns and grabs a cup serving herself some red punch when she over hears the boy named Viktor comment on the decrations. "Well..actually it took me only about 5 minutes, considering the time it took me to cut out the hearts. I'm on the fesitval commitee and my job was to make some of the decorations.." She adds hoping he wouldn't mind the input. She smiles warmly and takes a sip from her cup. "Sure, are alot of St. Lily student around here," She says quietly, observing, then turning back to the boy. "I'm Noah by the way, nice to meet you." --- On the opposite side stood Frank Iero lingering against the walls awaiting for someone special to arrive. He fidgetted a bit nervously, hoping she would show, but only time would tell. He had a small box in his right hand, while the other rested in his left, slim dark jean pocket. He had certainly dressed up, but still kept it casually stylish. His jeans were a very dark gray wash. while up top he wore a crisp white button-up with a skinny black tie and a black vet thrown on top of it. His black slip ons were brand new, and white. While his hair was smoothed to the side, where his longest layer curled framing his face. His mossy green eyes scanned the green illuminated area, overlooking the red and pink decorations and balloons. He nearly backed out of coming to this dance, but Corey had agreed to hang out with him today, and he was fresh out of ideas for tonight. That and every resturant was booked solid. He sighed slightly as the festivites comensed, the music pumping through the speakers the dj had. He looked down at his box and hoped the necklace he was giving her was a good enough present to give on this day. And as luck would have it, he was completely clueless on how to act towards girls. Especially on a night like this. |

Viktor nodded to the shorter girl next to him. Admittedly he was a little surprised his small side-note of an observation had been registered on anyones eardrums over the uproar of the crowd. "I'm not really a fan of pastels" He commented to her as he took a sip from his cup of punch "but you've definatly made it work" Hearing her self-introduction Viktor spoke again "Viktor Rasmus" His voice slightly louder to ensure she heard him. At her mention of the number of St. Lily students Viktor gave a small shrug. Being new to the school he didn't yet understand the relationship between the two schools, however he did know that they were rivals in some fashion. "Is it odd for there to be so many of them at an AHS event?" He questioned his new aqaintance trying understand the dynamics of his new school. Viktor took another sip from his cup letting his gaze flow through the crowd as he awaited her reply. |

((ooc-Uhm.. wtf? idk it posted twice for mine but it might of been because I posted from my phone. Is there a way to delete that? And if so can anyone tell me? >_>)) Noah casually drank her punch as she looked up at the boy, when he replied. "Heheh, thanks, I try." She smiles to herself thinking of how she actually acheived this. Her powers certainly came in handy when it came to cutting things. When he presented himself, and held her hand out. "Pleasures all mine, Im a third year here so I'm kind of a vet, though you wouldn't know it." She pauses setting her cup down on the table. "Brownie?" She points to the plate she had set down earlier. "Relatively, they don't really show up here too often, though I suppose you could say we're rival schools, but its all the same to me anyways." She shrugs nonchalontly. "So...Viktor, tell me. Are you knew here? I don't believe I've seen your face before." She turns so that she is facing him now. Even in heels, she was still about 7 inches shorter than him, and very much so childlike. She was almost flatchested and very slevete, reminants of her young gymnast and dancers body. She sighed catching her distorted refection in the large punch bowl. She still looked waifish even on a punchbowl! She was beginning to wonder if even her looks might stop her from attracting boys. Though in reality, she was very pretty. She didn't know it though. Stupid teenage girl mind. This wasn't to say she wasn't smart. Noah was actually a bookworm. One of those hardcore art students, when she wasn't dressed to impress. -- Frank sat slumped over by the fountains edge now, worried his date just might not show up. He had scanned the area several times, before Oliver creeped up behind him placing a cold hand on his neck. "Boo." He said quietly sending Frank into a fit, nearly falling into the fountain. "What the f*uck?! jesus Oliver! Are you out of you mind?!" He hisses, adjusting himself on the ledge. The edges of his mouth twitched when Frank answers him. "Heh, sorry. I couldn't help it. Who are you looking for? Corielle?" He sits next to his closest friend. Human, Frank Iero and scans along with him. Oliver was far more dressed then Frank, A pair of slim black slacks, a white button-up with a black skinny tie and a fitted blazer ontop. Her had a pink rose pinned to the pocket. He almost looked ready for prom or something. The sight of them sitting together was rather amusing, as they looked opposite. But there was also something else of the imortal child. He was also wondering if Frank's friend was here as well. His pesky sister was tranferring here and would arrive any day now. And hopefully not soon enough. |

Dressed in the standard little black dress, sleeveless with long black gloves that reached past her Katje's shoes made hushed ticks across the marble floor that led towards the dance. Her eyes rolled around, unimpressed with the flair and feeling of the high school, a contemptuous smirk of a volatile mixture of contempt and apathy crossed her face as she watched the hormone flushed students enjoying themselves. It just as well figured to her that once again the High School was enveloped in high spirits and merriment, while the students of St. Lily's were here for work. Her hands felt around inside of her evening bag, pulling her palm sized digital camera out, putting it's strap around her wrist so it dangled within hand's reach throughout the night. Doing a slight touch up of her hair in the reflection of the window and nodding one last time, she opened the door to the ballroom and slinked in and past a majority of the room towards the refreshments. She grabbed a bottle of spring water and taking a sip from it, used her position to eyeball the room for familiar figures. Across the room she could see Joseph looking ornery as per usual, Katje sympathized with his apparent agony from the situation, that's why she decided against the prolonging bullshit ceremonies of the evening, and come here to get her work done and get out. No dances, no awkward teenage dramatics, no drinking punch. Get in, blend in, take info and get out. Her eyes caught in the corner what she assumed the be the same old man in the dirty rags from the night in Domino Town. A smug flash of tooth crossed her mouth as she immediately lifted her camera to take a picture of him. The flash strobed across the room possibly making the man painfully aware that someone had taken his picture, as she turned around and entered the crowd heading towards Joseph. |

Have you ever seen an angry goth glammed up and as content as could be? Well now you have. Jade felt the warm touch on her hand, and the head pressed against her own. Oh sure, there was their minds together, a strange arrangement and attachment that she blatantly didnt understand. Jade was indeed a physical girl, and that is what she most appreciated, just his hand, his touch, it made her warm and actually cracked her lips into a smile. At least for a little while. As, where there was Issac, there would always be Sting. In his fantasy world where he was the god king of ladies. She didnt hate Sting per say, she just was not a fan of his. Especially since he was always trying to be with Alyss, when not so secretly Jade wished she could steal that girl away for her and Issac. But that was a talk for a long later date. Now, she just wanted to be content with her...her boyfriend wasnt he? Issac had really become her boyfriend. She brought her other hand across, gripping his arm quietly, turning into him, her lips pressed against his cheek to give him a quick kiss. "Thank you. I know you didnt have to do this. And dont worry, you wont be spending tonight alone." Hey, at least she was honest with him. It was a big deal for them to come to a social event like this, because she was an anti-social bitch queen, and because his power made gave him problems in large crowds. Probably meant the girl should think of something extra special for later but eh, she'd cross that bridge later. Ah the boys. We cant forget the rider duo, clad in their rather silly clothing. Searching the dance for pretty girls. Or, at least Diyu was, Madarame was staring blankly at his shoe laces. The lateral wall syndrome had gripped the poor nerd, refusing to let him free of the hard surface behind him. Well, that is until Diyu saw a single free girl, one he knew. That wonderful gal Kimi who he had met at new years. "AHA! Well, she's a bit out of your league, but a good start!" Diyu raised his finger in the air, pointing at the poor girl by the punch bowl. Sure there was a problem with bringing the girl over there but...well, Diyu solved that. He grabbed Madarame's ahoge, the hair antenna gripped firmly in his fist, and dragged the poor nerd in that direction. "OW OW OW OW OW OW!" Madarame declared, what else was he going to say? He was being led around! Diyu on the other hand, tossed the boy next to the punch bowl, disturbing it slightly, the red liquid sloshing about as he put forth the greatest smile and bent towards the girl. "Ah! The girl with the ass of legends! Yes, I was hoping you might like to meet my friend. This is Nerlad, from the thirty first century. Legion of super friends or some such. He came back in time to stop the great blight from costa rica that would kill us all." Madarame stared blankly, his jaw wide open, trying to comprehend the sheer mass of Diyu's lies. Dont worry class. Diyu got his comeuppance. There was the little issue of Rebecca. Who bounded right into him. Well, that certainly made things interesting. The boy immediately started praying to all the gods he could think of, and with a sly smile edged towards the girl an arm going for...her shoulders oddly enough. "AHA! You should stand there please. Give me but a moment. I must bask!" He breathed deep then, taking the girl into account. It was actually so he could stare at her and think of something to say without looking like a complete perv. That was, until he brought a hand to his chin, stroking it as he walked, literally around the busty girl. Taking a good luck at her...well her ass as well as chest and face. By the time he came back around, he expected a blow to the neck, however he still managed to get out. "Yes, it is offical. A goddess has come to earth. That makes me your first priest, and as duty of such, I must kiss you to bring forth a religious experiance no normal human could know!" "Wait wha-?!" Yoko had been dragged to dance. She was in shock. Total and utter shock. Her eyes wide with confusion. Confusion and pain, she was not a dancer. Unless kicking peoples faces was a dance. Which law requires us to note is not. Though it could be if you were Bruce Lee. But he can do what he wants, who would argue with Bruce Lee! Well, besides that he's dead. Which would make him zombie Bruce Lee. Awesome. Wait. Oh right, Yoko having been dragged off to dance. She was trying to shake her arm free now. Her mind working again. She wanted to shout, to pummel him then and there. But somehow he had been filled with manly spirit. THIS KID! How did he get it! He must have eaten like six fist of the north star mangas and boxed a bear! Something to make this night make sense! The worst part was, she couldnt even reach her deck if things to out of hand. "You're supposed to be afraid!" She managed to shout. Her career as a badass was already going down the shitcan. Viktor's eyes darted from Noah's face to the brownies than back. Not wanting to be rude he took a smaller one and took a small bite. These are pretty good He thought to himself as he listened to Noah explain St. Lilies and AHS' relationship. Taking a sip to wash the sweet snack down he nodded to her question "Yeah I've been here for about a week an a halve" He said giving her a small grin "Still getting my bearings, by the way these are pretty good. Did you make them?" He asked holding the brownie up a little. Viktor's vision finally rested on the small frame of the girl before him. Admittedly she was rather attractive, the only evidance of this thought running through Viktor's head was his small grin which eventually widened into a full out smile. He took special note of her bright blue eyes, a dazzling color matching that of even the most beautiful and magestic oceans. Edited by nid-vaeda, Feb 16 2009, 12:01 AM.

He smiled at her, his face shading pinker as she kissed him on the cheek. He still wasn't used to such... subtle gestures of affection. Sure, they had... uh, done very intimate things to each other, but he still wasn't used to the more.... normal things in a relationship. Like kissing each other on the cheek. But that didn't stop him from recovering enough to give her a quick kiss on the forehead. It would have been rude not to return her gesture. He basked in their shared warmth, and... felt another familiar presence. Jade would have felt the equivalent of a small electric jolt as Issac's happiness changed to an "Oh god here comes trouble." He had learned - first hand - how deep the crap Sting could get them into. As well as having his mind invaded, Sting's recovery mission had almost cost the Marauders some lives - and probably some of their more skilled operators - for... not very much. Just for what they could tell was a fist sized rock. He breathed out, his external vibe cooling down and then warming up again as he filled his thoughts with the girl who he was holding hands with. There was no blaming Sting for not knowing the capability of those bandits. "Hi there, Sting." He remembered back to Alyss' phone call... before the phone had exploded in her hand... and relayed on the message she had left from that. "Well, she said - and this is a quote - to stop sending her so many damned flowers - Alice said they were pretty, by the way, so I guess as long as it doesn't take a forklift to get them in the room. You gave Naru a sugar high from the chocolate - Alice almost did too before Alyss stopped her and it was freaking hard to get Naru to calm down- but they were nice. Before the phone exploded I think she said for you to come pick her up before..." He checked his watch. "Two minutes ago..." - - - - - Two minutes ago. Naru's last finger, which had been counting down the last five seconds from behind a stack of roses, closed into a fist. "Aaaand your date is LATE!" She announced, much like a TV show announcer. "Well, I guess its because he hasn't ran into To-san yet." Yes, when Issac was around she did call him 'father'. Alyss was sitting there, right beside the window, taking roses in her hand and chucking them out of the window. They exploded halfway down to the ground, but she didn't care. No amount of money could win her over. She knew the story of Issac's own father and mother. If Sting really did love her that much... "Why can't he just pick me up? There's no need to set an RZ like some contract..." Hurling another red bulb out of the window, she heard its sharp crack in the background as she rested her chin on her knee. Her dress was... cut down from the usual. Alyss had decided on something less conventional for her, opting for a deep red kimono, which came down to halfway to her knees, and had sleeves that almost covered her hands. They were - as usual - gloved in warm red. Her bare legs were covered with dust-grey socks, and below that a pair of simple black shoes. "He'd better be here." She grumbled. A chocolate was thrown out, and exploded as it hit a street lamp... which fizzed out and showered a small bush with sparks, setting that alight... |

Noah's eyes gleamed a little when he smiles, and honestly, she couldn't help but smile back. He seemed quite nice. And so she decided she was already having quite a pleasent time. "A week and a half, Hmm.. thats interesting. Have you made any friends at all?" She tries to make conversation, but it comes out sounding so oblongly grown-up and motherly. Noah silently grimaces at herself and tried to recover. Looking up at him she notices Viktor trying her homeade brownies. "You like them? Yup, I made them myself. I've been baking alot lately..."She trails off feeling a little shy. She gazes trying to find something interesting to talk about when she sees the mouth piece on a chain around his neck. "Do..you play an instrument?" She points a skinny little finger at it, hoping he won't be offended. "I'm an avid music lover. I play the piano," She offers smiling up at him, blushing a little. |

Viktor finished off what was rest of the small choclate dessert giving a small chuckle at Noah's question of him having any friends. "Well, to be honest what with unpacking and catching up with all my classes I havn't really met many people" He told her in a joyous voice. Taking another swig of the cup, emptying it, he tossed the cup into the waste bucket nearby. At mention of music, his hand lifts to the small worn metal trinket dangling from his neck. Viktor caresed it in an unconcious manner "Uh...yeah, I play the trumpet...and harmonica" He smiled again at her. "Piano huh...I'd love to hear you play sometime" He remarked finally releaseing his memento from the past. Music was always something that could connect him with people, he didn't care on the particulars, so long as it dealt with music he enjoyed it. Speaking of music, the DJ had just started a new record. This one was decidedly slower than what had been playing a moment ago, pefectly fitting the event, perhaps to fitting in some of the faculties eyes. The change in music made Viktor glance towards the dance floor for a second, his eyes quickly fixing back on Noah's. Edited by nid-vaeda, Feb 16 2009, 10:15 AM.

"I fear nothing from a beautiful lady!" Carniku announced, while his psyche replied "YES! YES YOU DO! SHE HIT YOU WITH A F*CKING TIRE IRON! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU MAVERICK!!!" as he continued his dragging through to the dance-floor his inner thoughts not displayed on the outside. Carniku had no idea what was going on as he passed Diyu, it was entirely possible that some part of him was rubbing off on Carniku as the young martial artist stood on the dance floor and suddenly realised he had no idea how to dance. What was he going to do, slow dance? break-dance? Knowing this crazy girl she'd probably start moshing and trying to punch his face. What should he do at this moment!? To his own surprise, a voice entered his head. Be it the spirit of Valentine's day or just the essence of manliness, muscles so swollen they couldn't physically function anymore, he didn't know as his hands moved of their own accord attempting a hugging gesture that was normal in dancing. His rational mind was a combination of cringing and writing a will as he listened to the voice in his mind and danced away. She was almost certainly going to beat the living daylights out of him for this. In fact, he was preeeeeettty confident she would've anyway. The only advantage this gave him was she was shocked so he had time to get away. The voice in his head sounded worryingly like his father as it announced "Yes! YES! That's it! Shake it like a polaroid picture! I'm gonna have me some grandchildren!" he wanted to stop... but if Carniku stopped dancing now, she'd recover and he'd be beaten down like he owed her money. This was a dangerous situation, he needed to think and plan! Just one wrong move... and he could be killed! |

Noah blinked curiously, her blue tide hues settling on his features. She would no doubt forget him, for one of the powers she possesed was her photographic memory. She closes her eyes locking the image or him holding his necklace. "The trumpet? Do you play jazz?" She perks up a bit now, instantly engaged in conversation. For she too found a connection with people and music. "I have a group of friends, who like to jam once in awhile. You should join us sometime, Viktor-san" she commented, already getting past formalities. She hated using informals, but sometimes they slipped out. The music became light and sort of romantic and a little lump formed in the throat of her long elegant neck. She noticed him look out towards the crowd intermingling on the dance floor. A slow pace insued between all the couples and Noah began to wonder, if she would ever find true happiness displayed on the faces of the students. Looking up, she figured, she really had nothing to lose, as honestly, she didn't want to remain a wallflower forever. It had admittenly been long ago; the last time she had even waltz and wondered if Viktor knew how to as well. The last thing she wanted was to lead. But normally wouldn't the boy ask the girl's hand? Or had times really changed. She raised a finger about to ask when a familiar smoldering voice echoes her thoughts behind her. "May..I have this dance?" Oliver stood aside from them fallowed by a brooding Frank who was still holding onto the box. He was just about ready to give up, but hope still lingered around his heart. He didn't want to be crushed..yet again. Oliver looks at Noah, his emerald green eyes, boring into hers, expectant. It wasn't like she had a choice, she was perplexed and worse, at a loss for words. Her jaw quivered a bit almost in fear, but she nodded quietly and he swept her away and a matter of seconds, leaving Frank behind with Viktor. "You weren't about to ask her to dance were you?" He says shaking the little red box around. The chain and charm jingling throughout. "I'm Frank, Nice to meet you...?" He holds out his free from his pocket hand to shake his new comrad's. Meanwhile back on the marble floors Noah was tightly secured to Olivers grasp. Her heart races in sputtering palpitations. This boy, man rather whom she most feared and hated also held a spot in her heart perhaps greater than she realized. Her mind stroke in shocks of athousand thoughts, racing about. One of them behing that she left poor Viktor behind, not even getting a chance to introduce him to her friends. Oliver looked down naturally and smiled gently, his gaurd was almost completely down, and he leaned over so that his neck touched her forehead. "I'm sorry for frightening you, and I know this may not seem fair...but it is Valentine's day after all." She understood exactly what he meant, not being able to have him, expecially after he rejected her. As it stood, their love was forbidden, and this was about as close as they could virtually get together. ever. She leaned in feeling no pulse on his neck as they waltzed perfectly in tune. Her emotions were mixed with grief and extreme happines at the same time. "Noah...is a nice tolerant girl," Frank comments shoving the box in his back pocket. He leans on he table and takes some punch from the bowl sipping his cup thoughtfully. "But that was just too mean or him." He looks at Viktor changing the subject. "I don't mean to eavesdrop, but I over heard you two talking about music. So you play the trumpet?" He gulps another bit of red punch, "Sounds awesome..I play the guitar. Though I imagine the trumpet must be a piece. How long have you been playing?" |

Viktor nodded at her question " Yeah I do...pretty much play anything I can" He admitted to her. " I would love to join in sometime" He continued. As the other two guys walked up. What happened next wa somewhat shocking to Viktor as it happened with such a fast pace and with no warning. One of the two guys, who he had figured knew Noah, whisked her away to the dance floor leaving Viktor standing with a clearly shocked and slightly confused expression on his face. Shaking his head as if to shake off his expression he heard the other guy ask him "You weren't about to ask her to dance were you?" He couldn't say the thought hadn't crossed his mind, "uh...nah" He told the newcomer. It wasn't that Viktor couldn't dance, on the contrary he was quite good, he just was more accustomed to be on the stage playing while others danced. Taking the guys hand and shaking it as he introduced himself Viktor stated "uh...Viktor Rasmus" He said letting go of Frank's hand. He looked out towards the dance floor watching for a few seconds as Noah and the stranger danced his vision quickly shifting back to Frank as he started to speak again. Viktor smiled at the change in conversation, wondering of course by what Frank ment by his compadre's behavior being cruel. "Yeah..I've been playing for" He said drifting off as he counted the years "...thirteen years" He chuckled slightly "child prodigy" he said in a humourous manner. "I'm assuming you're the friends Noah was talking about" He said trying to continue the converstation, though it was apparent that he was still slightly thrown off. Casting a cautious eye towards the boy that was smiling Kimi realized that he was indeed smiling at her. She returned the expression, a simple grin and a small wave. With the sweet aftertaste of the punch settling on her tongue she was starting to feel a little more adventurous. She opened her mouth to speak when a certain someone caught her eye. Equally as distracted her attention turned to Kenji as he entered. Those usually easy golden eyes being taken over by a burning flame that she wished she could have shot out at him. Through no fault of his own, sort of, Kenji had become the soul object of her jealousy. He was probably a very nice person, even easy to get along with but she really couldn’t have cared less. She never saw Mt Diyu erupt, but she certainly heard him well enough. Turning around to the sounds of praise for her behind, yet again, she was greeted with the sight of one very handsome Diyu and another boy who looked like he was being tortured. She cast one quick sidelong glance to the punch bowl before looking back to he newfound entertainment. And as the dribble of nonsense came spewing from Diyu’s mouth Kimi would mimic the expression of Madarame to almost perfect feminine ‘T’. “He never stops, does he?” Snickering she watched as Diyu was distracted and then cast her best apologetic smile to Nerdlad, as he was so called. More importantly, she gave him a quick once over before finding an object of concentration, namely his red bowtie. Funny how a single object could thrust one all the way back home. It reminded Kimi of her father, he often wore such silly little things and now Kimi found it endearing. “I’m Kimiko Phrotus, it’s nice to meet you.” - - - - - - “Oui?” Constance let her eyes fall from Joseph and follow the sound of someone’s voice before she finally turned her head. Then she had to tilt t, way back just to look up and see the face of one Leon Rasputin. There was a moment of recognition in those polished teal eyes. Constance would never need to see his face to identify him but it seemed more appropriate than looking at his abdomen. Never would she fail to also stand in awe of his great size either. He was magnificently… huge. Though unlike some others she felt unthreatened, especially when she registered the waves of nervousness washing over him. At her vertically challenged height she could still take in his appearance with a gracious eye and note that they were wearing corresponding colors no less. So she focus on that and tried not to get wrapped up in his emotions. Poor little empath. “Yes, so far. For a high school dance I suppose it is not so bad. The food is interesting at least.” Her smile was pleasant, her eyes trained on him as she tried to make it sound convincing. Actually the dance was making her a bit homesick as it brought back vast memories of the parties and balls her family used to attend. Living abroad as a high school student was proving to be rather difficult at times. Yet rather than sink in to despair she did something daring. “Leon, would you like to dance with me?” - - - - - - - There was yet another who arrived at the dance, fashionably late as always and we won’t go in to the details of -how- she got there. That would just ruin the mystery. Diana stepped in to the courtyard looking like a valentine card come to life. It had been a while, Christmas even, since she really dressed up so this was a real treat. The knee length jersey knit fabric of her red dress was slinky and figure grabbing as it dangled from simple straps of pearls at her shoulders. The typically carefree white hair had been pulled back and allowed to cascade down in a wave of carefully styled curls. But more important than all of this were her eyes. Those luminescent orbs were seeking out someone, searching the crowd until she found the singular person she had been looking forward to seeing tonight. Much like the feline she was Diana slinked across the courtyard in sensible stilettos, much to the gratitude of her feet, towards her target. Needless to say the smile on her pale pink lips was in favor of his polished appearance. There was nothing like a sharp looking man, especially when they were all yours. Neo would feel a pair of hands on his shoulders as she leaned in behind him to whisper in his ear. “Aren’t you a little old to be at a high school dance, dear?” She tried to go for the seductively low voice actresses always used in the movies but she couldn’t hide how happy she was to see him. “You look like someone who just stepped out of GQ.” |

The corners of Sting's mouth twitched, and his eyes took on the look of a man facing certain death. "So... Two minutes ago, huh?" Izzy would no doubt be able to feel Sting's fingers clench around his shoulder. The very idea of being late with Alyss was horrifying, like being able to see your own death, and that was really putting it lightly. "Er... Right then," He said quietly, releasing his friend, "Guess I'll be off then...Bye." The words were barely out of his mouth before he took off at a breakneck sprint, making a beeline straight for the dorms, a loud stream of terrified profanities pouring from his mouth. ------------------------ Rebecca froze as Diyu put his arm around her and eyeballed her up and down. Not out of shyness or fear, mind you, but out of sheer amazonian rage. In her mind, Rebecca was imagining herself inflicting all manner of painful and wince-inducing injuries on shockingly forward young man. Of course, none of this translated into actual physical motion. If one listened closely enough, however, they might hear a nigh-inaudible feline growling, like a tiger on the verge of going completely berserk. And as for his rather intimate proposition? Well, Rebecca did hear all of that. It was just that her violent fantasies drowned out most of the noise around her (even imaginary screams caused by Rebecca's wrath were loud). As such, she could only respond half-consciously with the mumbled words, "Yeah, sure, whatever," which were precisely the wrong thing to say. For Diyu, that is. ------------------------ Sting skidded to a halt across the wet grass, narrowly avoiding an exploding bouqet of roses that left the earth bare for several feet. He paused momentarilly to reconsider charging in on an enraged Alyss, but decided that not throwing himself under the bus would only result in even harsher retribution later. Swallowing his fear, Sting latched onto the side of the dorm building with fingers whiched had morphed into silvery spikes, and began to climb. One last exploding chocolate whizzed by Sting's head just as he pulled himself through the window, nearly causing him to slip. "Alysswaitit'smeStingpleasedon'tkillme!" He yelled, scrabbling on the windowsill for a handhold. When he found one, he hauled himself inside the room, landed awkwardly on his head, and swiftly righted himself before his girlfriend could use the opportunity to stuff something explosive down his pants. Sensing that his life was no longer in (immediate) danger, Sting cleared his throat and adopted a cautious smile. "Very sorry about being late. I thought you got the message, and-- You know, I just saw Izzy, who-- Well, it's all very complicated see, but uh, I'm here now, aren't I? Only two minutes late, after all." Sting glanced nervously at the clock, and then back to Alyss, hoping that this minor infraction could be overlooked. |

Pleased with a small amount of affection, really, that is all that Jade really liked. Just a little show, some physical signs and every doubt, every worry was washed away. Except for when he started to blush. It made her smile and actually, laugh in her head a little bit that of all things THAT caused him to blush. She released his arm with her spare hand, pinching his pink cheek and pulling it her way. It was a bit weird but come on, it was Valentine's day, she was allowed a few silly girlfriend actions. "You're kidding. Of all the places I have ever put my mouth on you, it is your cheek that makes you blush?" She let go of course. In time for her boyfriend to explain to his best friend, that he was late to pick up his date. Jade actually slipped forward laughing, her face finding it's niche where Issac's shoulder met his neck. "You totally did that on purpose!" Come on, it was funny. She had to admit, for a guy who made his living shooting people and blowing stuff up, that boy kept a good sense of humor. She let go, swinging around him to his front, their hands still entwined together. "You know you have to dance with me at least once." -- Right, adding a little divider to keep minds right. Next up is Yoko, trapped in a strange dance with a man who was somehow channeling the spirit of several awesome men. His awesome level had just flown off the chart. It broke the awesome detector. How was this the same guy she fought before! No, something was indeed wrong. WHO BROKE CARNIKU! The next great mystery movie on Skyone, watch out for it. He was even calling her beautiful. Which, considering how they last met, she could guess easily. "Oh sure, you were all on top of me last time we met. But now you just want to dance." She had to stop the dancing. He was moving her around like crazy and unless she did something extremely drastic, it the girl would fail her mission! So at this time, it was decided that Yoko, had to stop the dancing. She took her high heeled shoe, the hard point lifting in air and coming down, hard, towards the boy's foot. It was the quickest way she could think of making him stop. "You and me. We're having a talk." -- Right, next up we have the adventures of Nerdlad as he battled loneliness and teenage awkwardness in the 21st century. He did his best not to stare at her, his eyes glued to his feet. A thin rush of rose colored his cheeks. He was not made for dealing with the opposite sex. But at least they did have one topic, Diyu's pure sugarcoated over the top way of talking. "No, this is actually him light. Kaa-san does not allow him to come to the house anymore." Yes, Diyu had even gone after the poor lad's mother. But at least the girl introduced herself. Which gave Madarame the courage to look up at her. Maybe they were close enough to nerds together they could talk. Or at least, be interested in talking a little bit. "Kimiko, it is nice to meet you. But, my name is not Nerdlad and I do NOT come from the future. I'm Madarame Enomoto, and I am from St. Lily's." He scratched the back of his neck shyly, his ahoge perking up into the air. Damn thing had a mind of it's own most nights. "Wish I could say that is why I have not seen you around before. Not allowed to go out much on my own." Diyu had a strange tendency to show up as well, and ruin the event. -- Rebecca had not only resisted Diyu's...ahem, "charms", but seemed utterly annoyed and angry at them. Which, to most people, would tell them to knock it off, find someone else, generally stop being a dick. However to Diyu, this translated to 'try harder stupid'. So indeed, he did. Ignoring her angry feline noises he gave her a smile, complete with tooth bling. Yes, the tooth blinging was a powerful ability rarely allowed out. "Now now. Do not dismiss me as an average worshiper! My dear, you have the body, eyes and soul of a goddess. You deserve something far finer then the ordinary boy. Or the golden boys in the corner who feel they are entitled to basking in your glorious body that causes the world around it to shake." He was laying it on thick, but come on, what other choice did he have? If he did not do this right, he was just going to get punched. And he could only get punched so many times on valentine's day. It caused double damage from female creatures on today! He just didn't have the hit points! "Nay, nay. You deserve an evening, filled with not gaudy treats, rich men and shiny rocks. But one of substance! One of meaning and heart to equal the natural glory you exude. And it is up to me, in this day to provide you with that heart. With that joy that no great power can give. Dance with me my goddess and feel the pure bliss that is my joy to give you." |

"Yo! How's it going Go... you know what I meant" Pausing in the midst of his pacing, Go glanced over at Carniku, giving him a small, nervous smile before waving at him. It looked like he was having no luck when it came to the opposite sex either, hanging out with Go by the dorms. At least until they were approached by Yoko. Normally, Go was nervous when near any females, but this time it was different. A chill ran down Go's spine when she smiled. "She's really scary," whispered Go to Carniku. However, before he could find out what Carniku did regarding this girl, Go spotted Kira who was looking simply phenomenal. "Oh wow..." Ryu had been eating various snack foods, giving Kira a smile and a wave as she greeted him, when he was approached by Eddie. Ryu didn't know him personally, but he recognized him as an AHS student. The first thing he spotted was the guitar on his back. "Heyo, man! There any chance I can not only be a part of the dance, but play for it as well? I haven't had a good gig in a while now." "Maybe," said Ryu, looking the guitar player over. "Are you good?" Go could not take his eyes off of Kira, just in awe of how great she looked. He was sure she had no interest in him and would ask some other guy to dance. "Would you like to dance with me, Go?" Go was shocked that she wanted to dance with him. Kira probably could've gotten any guy there if she really wanted, but she chose him. Now, being the shy guy he was, Go's enthusiastic "Yes!" got lost somewhere between his brain and his vocal cords. Luckily, Kira took initiative, taking hold of Go's hand and pulling him towards the dance floor. She turned around, placed her arms around his neck, smiling brightly and Go froze up. She wanted to dance and Go had no idea what to do. Discreetly he glanced around and thinking quickly did what everyone else was doing and placed his gloved hands on Kira's hips. With that done, Go smiled nervously at Kira, his cheeks just as red as her lipstick. "I've n-never really danced before..." ----------- “Not so long that you can not try to make the most of it and, at least, pretend to have a bit of fun.” Joseph glanced down at Constance, regarding her with the same level of contempt he had for nearly everyone. Joseph wasn't one to pretend when it came to anything, he was very straightforward. Now, considering he was now trapped in a school full of pretty much everything he hated, trying to have fun was out of the question. "You look nice," said Joseph simply. Wasn't trying to flatter her or anything, just speaking the truth. Arms crossed over his chest, he glanced around the room, observing fellow St. Lily students and rival AHS students. "I don't really like dances, especially with people... I'm not particularly fond of." Shortly after their conversation, Constance was gone, off to dance with a giant of a man that Joseph recognized as one of his St. Lily peers. He had never really spoken to him, but he had seen him before. No matter. The next person to approach him was another St. Lily student, Joseph knowing less about him than the guy who had just asked Constance to dance. However, unlike the diminutive young lady from just a few moments before, Yasuo seemed more...crazy. Then again Yasuo didn't seem to really be talking to Joseph, more just thinking out loud. "Cupid's arrow," began Joseph, no longer looking at Yasuo but at the approaching Katje. "Who's to say you aren't dead once you've fallen in love?" Edited by Ryu, Feb 16 2009, 07:36 PM.

Carniku's swaying feet managed to miss a high-heel as it punctured the tip of his trainers all the way through the sole AND his sock. He should prrrrroooobably try to change what was going on now, if he continued this dance he would die but... if he stopped... she was probably going to show him how unrealistic the effects in Hostel were first hand. No choice, he had to continue dancing! He moved his arm to twirl Yoko in a pirourette with her high-heel (still impaling his shoe) as the turning point, before moving down to sweep her low to the ground in a carry "You want to talk, huh? Well what is it you want to discuss, my nameless beauty? Anything you want I shall disclose to you if you will but bestow your heart to me" Carniku suddenly realised that, far from channeling his own awesome, there was something screwy going on here. Mostly because he would never say anything remotely like that. Not even at gun-point (and this was the nearest equivalent he could get). He should be making smack-talk or violence, not sweet-talk and... well, not sure what you'd call what he's doing right now, but it's not violence. He glanced around and noticed a kid from his class looking at him and smiling a broad, brace-lined smile. He vaguely remembered helping the kid with bullies before and... oh the little bastard was trying to help him SCORE!... what a magnificently thoughtful but horribly ill-chosen idea. If he wasn't carefully he might get psycho-Bitch to LIKE him... Imagine that... Dead-flowers through the mail Dead-Puppies in boxes... Dead-family at a wedding... ... why was she killing EVERYTHING in his imagination? Either way he had to try and tell that kid to stop 'helping' him somehow without Yoko getting wise or... or he was dead. He should probably try and get her off his shoe too, that wasn't helping things. Made his dancing decidedly uneven. |

Ah so the dance had pretty much filled up rather quickly. Zen turned to see if Vincent was in view, but it seemed that the loner had melted into the shadows and disappeared from most of the students sight. That was a bummer; If anything Zen wanted at least one student here that he knew well enough to hang out with, and now that one student was not to be seen. He turned and leaned against the punch table and looked up to the sky. Soon enough he was sitting on the tabled; careful not to tip the thing so he wouldn't soak near-by dancers. The teenagers eyes scanned the area picking up the faces of several students; some of which didn't sit right in his head, but that was due to them being new no doubt. Another thing he was quick to notice was that he couldn't see too many people that were there on their own... Lastly he noticed he was the only one who wasn't dressed formally... Well that was one way to stick out, but not dressing like a penguin wasn't going to increase his chances any in this particular setting. "What to do, what to do...." His mind and eyes working a thousand miles an hour. He was the only idiot here without a date... Well to his eyes anyway. Zen had spent way too much time having fun and not spending enough time in the dating industry. It wasn't that he didn't want to date... He just simpily had nudged that to the side... And now he was suffering due to it. And then he laid eyes on one girl who seemed to stand out. It wasn't anything about her in particular that stood out; it was the girl in whole... Zen gave a lopsided grin as he remembered one thing that had eluded his mind untill now... He sucked at asking girls out. He fumbled to pour himself two glasses of punch; still hopefully not spiked and walked up to the one nicknamed Kimi. At the current time he had only realized her and didn't seem to notice the one she was talking too... Yes it was rude, but it wasn't intended. If he had seen the boy she was talking too he would have introduced himself as well, but this wasn't the case. Soon enough he was beside her and he was looking at the ground fumbling and fighting with his sub-concious about going through with this. Eventually the victor stood tall from within his mind. "Um... Hi there; my names Zen... Punch and a Dance?" He would slap himself many times over for such an idiotic line, but he was currently caught up in the moment and had a somewhat smile on his face as he finally managed to look up to her. |

"Maybe. Are you good?" (Ryu was not one to mince words. Eddie liked that. He took off his sunglasses, revealing his blue eyes, and put them in his hat, which he also took off. Then, he smiled at the super-class meta.) Eddie: I won't say I was born good or anything cheesy like that, but I have real skill without even using my powers. I practice daily and...we'll just say I had the right upbringing for it. (Hah hah... Yes, that is true, and it was all in his file, if Ryu had any access to it. A young man born from a well-off scientist and college professor, growing up in a mansion made into the world's largers sonic conductor for music. Dr. Rabbleshlack may not have been a noted or famous scientist, but he was a genius. He'd raised a son who was not only well into musical talent, but altered on the molecular level with strange powers. That guitar could only sweeten his tune, given the advanced look to it.) Eddie: If you have any requests, lemme know. I uhhh...sort of emulate the masters, the people who inspired me to play. (Emulate was another way of shapeshift-into-and-impersonate-perfectly, but whatever. Heh, meanwhile... Elisa had gotten a bite to eat from one of the tables annd was just looking around. She didn't like all this fancy business. This may have sounded odd from a half-Moonian, but she was a little more down-to-Earth in her style and preferences. Taking another bite of her sandwich, she was suddenly given a playful shove from behind.) Som: Heeey! Having fun yet? (Elisa said something, but her mouth was full.) Som: Huuuh? Elisa: I said, "No, but at least they catered this thing right". Som: Yeah, I'll say! (She seemed a bit hyper at the moment.) Elisa: Are you alr- AGH!! (Suddenly, Som had jumped on Elisa's back, climbed up, and was now standing on her head, shouting...) Som: I AM THE GYPSY QUEEN!! Elisa: She found milk. (And while this is going on, let's switch over to the visitor on the scene, the St. Lily's student who had been observing things, thus far. On the one hand, he was taking in things on a purely professional level, regarding the mission and all. On the other hand, thought, there was also the fact that this setup really wasn't bad, as far as parties go. Demon notwithstanding, Darrel decided to be a tiny bit lax on this. His attention had been drawn off course anyway, by a girl with long white hair who passed by.) Darrel: Nice. She's not your type. Darrel: How did I know you were gonna say that? Because she's seeking out an older guy? Darrel: Yeah, that might do it. Still, I can try. Wait, I need my popcorn for this! Darrel: No time for sight-gags, Vex. Engaging the target now! (The girl he'd seen had snuck up on someone older-looking and even made the comment “Aren’t you a little old to be at a high school dance, dear?” at him. This was the indication that they knew each other, at least, though that was only speculation on Darrel's part. After all, he was the visitor from another school. What the hell did HE know? Well, we're about to find out, as he decided to speak up to the two.) Darrel: Any chance I could be of help, in case he wears out? (Hmmm. Comedy. Good approach.) |

There were some things Ayasha enjoyed in life and one such thing was dressing up. Originally having planned to dress simply to keep her "image" the same and not attract too much attention, she had effectively talked herself out of that. Since the dance was a mission to gather information, it would probably be better to get as much attention as she could from AHS students. That... and she really wanted to dress up. However, it had taken her quite a long time for her to fix her hair, get dressed and put on makeup. Fixing her hair had taken quite a while since most of it was braided and then made into a bun, wisps of hair artfully "falling" out. She also had gone with a dress she had made herself for a convention that was coming up, but figured it would be good for the dance. It was a plain black dress with thin straps and showed just enough skin to get enough stares. She also was wearing her good makeup that matched her coloring well. She hoped no one from her own school would recognize her, but she'd worry about that later. It was mission time. Despite how long it took her, Ayasha arrived on time to the dance and made her way to the refreshment table. She had just finished pouring herself a cup of punch when "Cindy" showed up and took the cup from her and then quickly left to take it back to Orion. To say the least, Ayasha was annoyed when her punch had been kidnapped and she had thought of going to rescue it and had gone halfway before she noticed who the kidnapper had taken it to. Stopping in her tracks, Ayasha sighs heavily and heads back to the table for another cup. Getting attention was one thing she wanted tonight, but not from a classmate and certainly not from Orion. He was trouble incarnated. |

seeing his oppurtunity, Kaneda politely excused himself and snuck over to the girl. 'Excuse me, I don't mean to bother you, but I wanted to introduce myself. My Name is kaneda Mitsurugi. What's yours?' He offered the girl his hand to shake, then noticed the other guy. 'Oh, Sorry friend. didn't notice you. name's Kaneda. That is one Awesome tie by the way,' he said, genuinely meaning it. He appreciated people who wore their own thing. ((sorry so short, but im about to go on a 2 day mission. See yall when I get back.)) |

Frank whistles softly, "That's awesome," He shifts his weight onto his left leg and takes another swig of his punch, hoping his lips wouldn't turn that awful red coloring you usually get from drinking this sh*t. "Hah, I kind of know what you mean." He chuckles sharing a laugh with Viktor. "But I guess if she was talking about music it must have been about us. We should definately hang sometime soon. See what you're all about." He offers friendly. He was always interested in meeting other musicians and jamming. It was just something he loved. Back on the marble floor Noah was beginning to feel guilty. And the more she thought, she started to fume. "Just what do you think you're doing? You know this isn't fair." She grits through her teeth, her cheeks flushing in anger. Olivers shoulders slumped seeing that she wasn't the least bit pleased. "This isn't some game, and "marking territory" that isn't even yours in the first place is extremely imature." "..Ouch," He winced, thinking he might have deserved that. He knew the boy would have made an attempt to dance with her but he wasn't expecting her to notice. The short waltz slows and the end in a long steady pace. Facing each other near the center of the dance floor, he places a cold, soft hand against her cheek. "Listen, I'm sorry it has to be like this, and I can't help but get a little jelous; he was checking you out afterall..I saw him." He adds quietly and then smiles gently. Things were always so complicated with him. Noah rolled her eyes, still agitated "You could have waited you know... it's only the first slow song." Her arms fold over her small bust, the heart-shaped cut giving her a bit of a boost. Oliver plays with a lock of her hair. "You..look beautiful, Noah," He sighs, "And I see I have intruded, on you evening, but one dance is enough, thank you." He bows towards her and steps away from her over looking his shoulder. "Goodnight, and happy St. Valentine's day. I hope you enjoy it." She stands there for several moments feeling slightly duped or something of the like. Noah fixez her hair abit, and slowly makes her way back to Frank and Viktor. "I'm sorry about that, Viktor. Uhm..would you like, to dance with me?" She holds her hand out hoping he wouldn't blow her off. And if he did, she knew who to blame, though she should have said no to him in the first place. "Excuse me for a moment," Frank slinks away chasing after Oliver. He wanted to settle things with him, and set him right.Honestly, as Noah's best friend and practilly twin, he had to stand up for her, as possesive overprotective brothers would normally do. Not wanting to wait she grabs Viktor's hand ignoring Frank and they lead each other to the dance floor. "So..Frank talked to you right? about our little band? I would very much like it if you joined us this weekend. We usually jam about once every week or so.." Edited by lovers lost in NJ, Feb 16 2009, 11:27 PM.
