Viktor nodded in agreement to Frank's suggestion of him tagging along sometime. A small awkward silence grew between the two guys, as the song that had been playing slowly dwindled to a stop. Viktor rubbed the back of his neck his eyes once again finding their way to Noah and the man who had taken her away. To Viktor it almost looked like a small lovers quarrel between the two had taken place on the dance floor. Noah's face sligtly flushed as the guy walked away from her. The next song had begun when Noah made her way back to the two men standing by the snack table. It wasn't as slow as the previous but not quite a fast song either. "I'm sorry about that, Viktor. Uhm..would you like, to dance with me?" Viktor heard Noah ask. He smiled at her "No problem.." He began to answer her "uh...sur..." He couldn't get his reply out before his hand was in her's and h was being led out to the dance floor. Almost as if not missing a beat Viktor placed his right hand on the small of Noah's back and took her hand in his left. He began to step with perfect rythme to the song being played, something that came effortless to the musical Viktor. "So..Frank talked to you right? about our little band? I would very much like it if you joined us this weekend. We usually jam about once every week or so.." Was the start of the conversation on the dance floor. Viktor nodded "Yeah that sounds great.." The two continued to dance for a little bit in the silence of the song. Viktor hesitantly spoke up "Look...if there is something going on between you and that guy..." He began slowly, refering to Oliver. "...I don't think I want to be in the middle of it". Viktor finished the statement without disturbing the rythme of their movements. Viktor wasn't one for drama, in fact despising such things. |

((WHOO nothing but Kimi goodness XD )) “Oh my.” Kimi’s hand was covering her mouth in attempt to stifle giggles, but it was still no use. Her mirth spilled out all over the place. Perhaps it was all of the mental images she was getting about Diyu and how he managed to get barred from going somewhere. Hopefully no one was traumatized in the process. “Aww, you’re not?~” The fact that he was from St. Lily’s was a far more interesting concept in Kimi’s topsy-turvy world anyway. Something about the school being for the super elite both intrigued and frightened her. Fortunately for Madarame, Kimi had made her mind up about him a few seconds ago. From his adorable bow tie to the strangely appealing ahoge on the top of his head and right down to his shy stance but there was something that caught her off guard. “You don’t get to go out much!?” The sheer disbelief on her face should have been enough to warn Madarame of coming danger. “We must remedy this.” Of course before she could say -how- there was someone there to steal her attention away for the briefest of moments. He looked nice, smelt good and more importantly presented himself in a polite manner. “Kimiko Phrotus, it’s nice to meet you Kaneda-kun.” She shook his hand briefly before he went on to introduce himself to Madarame. Smirking at the comment on his attire she was intent on believing that his bowtie was the single most adorable thing about him but her attention was once more pulled away. By now Kimi was beginning to wonder how she became so popular, not that she minded. Maybe it was the subtle lack of females. Either way she was suddenly surrounded by a trio of very interesting and, varying styles of, handsome males. “Punch!? Yes! Dance? Sure thing.” Like she really needed more sugar. Kimi was greeted with a cup and a striking boy with insanely green hair. Giving him a once over she wondered if he missed a color. Either way he looked fun and Kimi was all about fun. She drank her punch quickly, a guaranteed head rush in the making before setting the cup down. “Okay! Let’s go da-wait a sec!” In hindsight this would be a daring move and chances were nothing would ever truly come out of it but Kimi grabbed a napkin and quickly jotted down her cell number. “Here ya go Madarame. Give me a call when ever you want to escape for a bit.” Now back to the boy which was Zen. “Alright! Time to boogey!” And that’s all it took for Kimi to grab his arm and start making her way towards the music. Sugar highs could prove to be very entertaining. |

(Pink! He missed pink; though it's open to debate if he did it purposefully...) Well if he had known he could've asked a girl out to dance like this without fault; he would've done it a longggg time ago! Before he had a chance to blink she had downed the punch he had offered her and had given some other boy her number, Zen tried to memorize it for prank-induced giggles, but it was too tiny from his postion. Instantly she was dragging him across the court; causing his own punch to spill dramaticlly. As he was being drug a rather large sweat-drop formed on the back of his head. He turned to the place they had just been noticing the group of boys. Zen gave a strained look as if to say ~Sorry man! I didn't mean to cramp your style! Honest!!!~ It was a suprise honestly too see someone who could possibly be more active and hyper then he. He felt the music vibes pick up as some spicy foreign song reached his ears. A tango song? At least he knew how to dance too something like this. Her hyper style was actually incredibly.... Well awesome was the first word to come to Zen's mind. The teen felt as if when he got home he would bang his head against a wall for not really dressing up to a DANCE! Valentines Dance at that! But now was most certainly not the time. He had asked her to dance and he was definatly going to show her one heckuva dance. It was only a little bit awkward at first considering he didn't know her and he couldn't really rave dance to tango. He quickly brought his hand to her so she wasn't holding on to his arm anymore. Zen quieted down to actually feel the music flow through his body; he never actually 'learned' how to dance, but he extremely adept at such things; a fast learner if you will... That and he had spent a whole day watching dance videos and movies. His dancing skills were purely out of instinct. It was time to see what the practive would weild for him. There was a quick movement of his feet as he placed them somewhat apart. They shuffled quickly and swiftly in a fluid like motion. His hand which was connected with hers brought its way around her spinning her once and quickly pulled her to him. "It takes two to tango", Zen said with a joking growl. Then he proceeded with the slight hope that he wasn't being too 'take charge'. The dance had truly begun. |

Yasuo looked up at Joseph with a genuine look of surprise, then his face broke into a lazy yet delighted grin. "A good answer." He said nodding, following Joseph's line of sight..over to Katje. "I see...so would you say...your in danger of dying?" Yasuo inquired, the intention of the question clear. Still, the tone of the question was not mocking, playfully curious perhaps, but not meant at all to poke fun. "Good?" A voice asked, as a scandalized Gojairu popped out from behind Eddie. She was dressed in a tank top that clung to her like it was scared to let go, also dressed in a small black skirt that nearly came down to her knees, and large white go go boots. "We'll kick the ass right off this place, just you watch, Mr.Musashi." She said with a wild grin as she stood next to Eddie, her partner for this evening. Edited by Dust, Feb 17 2009, 04:10 PM.

Before he could even react, Kenji already felt a pair of arms wrap around him. Apparently, she really was surprised to see him here, and to be honest, he was just as shocked that he was allowed to show up. "Considering that I was just told yesterday that I have the night off, I didn't think I was going to be here." As she pulled back, Kenji had to observe the young woman that embraced him just a moment ago, and there was nothing he could say that was less then stunning that could describe her. "Wow... Ally, you look amazing." Ok, now he was happy that he got the night off. Granted, he's going to have to work his normal day off to make up for it, but at the moment, that didn't really matter much. "At least he wasn't looking like a drooling idiot at the moment. "So uh... can I get you a cup of punch?" In a different part of the courtyard, Neo was walking around, keeping an eye on the events of the dance. The guests of the night weren't making a ruckus, and surprisingly enough, the AHS students were being well mannered as well. Finishing up his glass, he disposed of the plastic cup into a trashcan as he walked past, nodding and asking around to see if things were going alright. Heck, even Issac would feel a tap on the left shoulder as he passed him by, more of a "how's it going" gesture. Yes, he was in good spirits. That didn't fade as he felt a pair of hands on his shoulders, not to mention a familiar voice in his ear. Oh, he had to chuckle at that comment as he wrapped his left arm around Diana's waist. "Well, if I was looking for a date, then yeah. But since I'm chaperoning tonight, and was lucky enough to have someone attractive come up to me, then I'm probably the right age." He would have commented on the GQ comment, when some other person came around, trying to make it sound like he was hitting on her. That, or making a wisecrack, still sounded the same to him. He looked at him in a very non menacing way, then at Di, then him, then her again before a quizzical look addressed his face. "I'm sorry uh... you know him?" Edited by Neo, Feb 17 2009, 12:55 PM.

Absently Ally noted that perhaps heels were a poor choice for her here; she was already around 5'8" and the heels gave her a modest three inches of height as opposed to the ones she had considered wearing first that would have made her much taller. Shoving the self-conscious thought away as Kenji spoke she pulled back and smiled. "Considering that I was just told yesterday that I have the night off, I didn't think I was going to be here." "Well I'm glad you're here," she said enthusiastically as ever, giving him a playful cuff to the arm. "Wow... Ally, you look amazing." Pleased and a little - embarrassed? Self-conscious? Whatever it was it was an irrational emotion that gave a slightly pink color to her cheeks as she crossed one arm in front of her and gripped her arm in a slightly nervously self conscious gesture. "Awe, thanks Kenji - I didn't know when I came here that we would have formal events, so I'm just really lucky I had something to wear!" The music sped up to a more energetic level, Ally glanced out at groups of students showing off their moves and impressing or making a fool of themselves in one form or another. It was entertaining and the song seemed slightly familiar; probably a cultural cover song of something she would recognize. Turning her attention back to the baristo musician she smiled and gave him her full attention. She planed on having fun tonight; she had been working very hard lately and had decided that she deserved tonight! "So uh... can I get you a cup of punch?" Agreeing she followed in his wake to the bowls of punch, snacks and other goodies stretched out for the students. Noting again faces that were very unfamiliar and uniforms that were very foreign Ally poked Kenji to get his attention - albeit gently, it was still a playful gesture, "Who are all these other students? Are these those St. Lillies kids?" She had read about the other school, but hadn't been too terribly interested in them. Quietly so that only Kenji would hear her - she had no desire to piss anyone off tonight: "Geezes, could any more sour? Someone needs to tell them to take the proverbial stick out of their butt and have some fun!" |

Though not accustomed to the world of fashion, Atheleyah was doused in glitter, or so it seemed. A glittering gold dress hugged her body and even her shoes sparkled. For once her hair was in elegant curls instead of spiked straight up, though that wouldn’t have been a problem to her. To be honest, she looked like a different person, minus her attentive stare at the crowd of people. It wasn’t an unpleasant feeling to catch eye contact with her; she was actually glowing with an attractive smile. As lights reflected off her, as if she were a disco ball, she made her way to the table. Kysse was there too. Then again, any event that called for a gown she was bound to attend. Her hair was up in a messy, curly, relaxed sort of hairstyle, very modern. Black lace and cotton covered her, yet left a lot to be seen. Her back was bare, and only lace covered her chest, of course she was covered though. The dress was short and left her bare legs stretching down. Her feet held onto strappy black heels, not her most clever idea, but what did it matter? She too headed toward the table of food. Neither girl made a seen about their entrances. Yes they were noticed, but they didn’t ham up to get attention. ((Leyah’s dress, Kysse’s dress and back.)) |

So they both were a little late, it was fine that they decided to come together. It was part of Piper's "master plan" to earn Tulip's trust and friendship - which wasn't a hard thing to do. The pair looked like complete opposites, much like their personalities and their presentations so to speak. Piper, with her choppy short black hair, was the typical "elegant lady in red" with her little red dress. Her red silk dress was clingy everywhere but the bottom hem which gave a swing as she walked. She wore black 2" heels to elongate her already long legs and a silver charm bracelet hung from her right waist. Tulip, on the other hand, had her blond hair done in loose curls held back from her face with a lavender headband. She wore a knee length lavender dress and pearl mary-jane's with a daisy bracelet on her left wrist. It wasn't Tulip's idea to come here, especially not without her usual escort with her. Honestly, she didn't have the chance to invite him because Piper had rushed her out the door quite unexpectedly. "There is a big turn out" "See anyone you recognize?" Tulip's blue eyes scanned the room upon Piper's question, only to have them fall on someone she knew long ago.. Standing there her heart caught in her throat and she laughed nervously, turning toward Piper. "Uh.. no one" Unfortunately, Piper had caught on and reached for Tulip's hand to pull her toward the boy she seemed to know. "Your so silly Tulip, isn't this the point of Valentine's Day?" "But uh.. we both.." It was too late, when they were close enough Piper had grabbed Tulip's upper shoulders and lightly shoved her in front of Isaac. Tulip of course had her cheeks flush bright pink and her voice catch in her throat ~ "Uh.. hey Issac, how are you?" Piper crossed her arms, blocking out their conversation as her chestnut eyes narrowed toward the entrance. She didn't bother to say anything to Torazo.. not that he would be caught dead at something like this. |

A perfectly pleasurably moment took a sharp turn in to something very uncomfortable. Something akin to fear flashed in Diana’s ruby eyes and a small knot started to fill her stomach. This situation was something she had been fearing since day one and the scenario had played out in her head countless times before. To suddenly have someone from her past appear and not recognize them was horrible to even think of but to live it… she couldn’t put words to any use right now. The boy that had approached her didn’t look or even smell familiar, but that was nothing new. Yet still appearing lost she had no clue whether he was a past acquaintance or just someone trying to be funny. It wasn’t nice to confuse an amnesiac. “Actually, I don’t know.” With a shrug of her shoulders she gave Neo one of those looks that would let him know she was completely lost here. Then her head would turn to look at Darrel, the root of her confusion. Luckily she was a girl primed for public relations, and that training had a knack for kicking in at the most opportune times. Just gotta love subconscious mind tricks. “I’m sorry if this sounds rude but, have we met before?” - - - - - - - Whirling and twirling around the dance floor Kimi was having the most fun she’d experienced in a while. It seemed that sugar had the same affect on her as alcohol; it excused her inability to dance. Lacking any formal training she was left to whims of her imagination and what little fearlessness she could muster from within while riding her high. This all made for one fun dance partner. She was in a mood to try anything, even… the tango. “So it does.” She giggled. Making sure she was in the proper position, so far as she knew, Kimi awaited for the moment when things would come crashing down. Namely, for when she would accidentally step on his toe or trip him. Neither would shock her and furthered the thoughts that her dress would soon end up ruined. Meanwhile, she was enjoying his take charge attitude. It left her open for more important things, like concentrating on keeping up and having a good time. In fact, she was having such a good time that she forgot all about what they were doing and so the slight nervousness went away. “You’re really good at this… uh, hey what’s your name anyway!?” |

"Bestow my WHA!" He was being way too talented. There was something wrong here. Maybe his mind was overreacting to try and keep her from killing him. The problem was it was having great success. Her attempt to make him stop dancing had led to her being dipped, to literally being in his arms. This both embarrassed and annoyed the girl to no end! She actually turned a little pinker, a more proper shade for the dance's theme. No really it was. Something strange was going on here. "Alright punk." The girl reached out, trying to grab him by his collar and pull herself up that way. It was a dangerous, risky move. One we will talk about later when the problem has passed. No point in giving other trans dimensional narrating beings decadent ideas. But with Yoko firmly in place, she gave a glare of daggers, trying to force the pink from her cheeks. "You are going to knock off with this act now, or I am going to tear off your balls right here in public." No little lower and a lot softer this time! -- Poor Nerdlad. He had been forced to communicate with a girl. And when he was actually starting to relax around her, to talk to her, she was whisked away by someone far more confident. Every nerd, geek, outcast, or teenage male that was not on the football team, knew exactly this feeling. The overwhelming inadequacy was washing over his emotional spectrum. A problem that he would not in a long while, nor ever on his own, be able to overcome for a while. Not because of Kimi, oh no, she is blameless. It is simply a problem every lad of Madarame's age must endure. Slipping the number into his pocket, he turned back to the table, staring into the punch bowl. His friend had ditched him, forced him to converse with a girl he did not much know. Who in turn left with another bloke. So now he was alone, without even the comfort of a hard wall to lean against. How could things really get worse? ... Oh come on, with a line like that, it is practically my job to make SURE things go worse. How could we do that? How. Oh right. Two words. Eeth Hellsing. With a blast of pure grandiose. A pose that demanded attention, emanating the soul of an immortal, whose actions went down in history. Unlike the rest of the legends of the school that had arrived here, all the legends of Eeth were unflattering, damaging, demeaning, and generally remembered only as a joke. Yes. Of all the graduates, he was the single most laughed out man of AHS. So when he came to the dance. Slamming open the double doors. His arms spread wide, taking up as much of the room there as possible. Eeth became a thunderclap of life that deafened it's way through the livelihood of the unfortunate few who were near by. The grand gathering of St. Lily students, Joeseph and the rest would be spared the shame of this man. But there were some that would not be so lucky. His eyes were frantic, fearful. Filled with both desire and sorrow. They darted back and forth across the room. Behind him he knew, there was an angry girl of fables and myths. One who had shot him in the ass with a crossbow. Haha, the joke was on her. This time he was already drunk! He darted through the dance, in a frantic comical run that appeared to come out of Scooby-Doo cartoons. Until finally grabbing hold of the Nerdlad by his neck, and dragging him with as he ran, fleeing from the girl who had yet to appear. "YOU! BRAINY! Plan plan plan make one fast. Or we gonna diiie." Madarame was dizzy, his eyes spiraling as he was literally grabbed away by the older man, frantic not to die. |

Carniku's mind was fairly rapidly beginning to take on-board what she was saying as she hoisted herself up by his collar, dragging him forward so he was now leaning very close to her. Presumably to make herself a lot more intimidating but with the unfortunate benefit they were now borderline intimately close. This could end extremely badly. In fact, given his track record, it was almost BOUND to. Ever since he came to this school he always felt that somehow, no matter what was going on, he always ended up on the recieving end of some form of crap. When he first moved in he ended up drop-kicking bear... First time he attended class there were TOYS everywhere... Girls Night Out he was nearly SHOT... All in all, things seemed to constantly and continuously go wrong for him. This had to be like the 100th time something like this had happened and he was determined that this time he'd end it normally, no more crap, no more things going horrifically wrong and him getting assaulted. This was it, the turning point, no more things going wrong! Unfortunately, there was one nerdy class-mate who did not know he had decided this. This same nerdy class-mate was using his ability to temporarily possess Carniku Inuzuki with the spirit of a deceased man from 1986 who was very, very good at what he did, and that was either playing on a violin or picking up chicks. While the waking Carniku would not under any circumstances go for what he was he about to go for, the 1986 native most definitely would. With Yoko threatening to castrate him, he went for the kiss. Can we get a chorus of "He's fucked"? |

"D-dance?" said Leon, swallowing a knot that had suddenly appeared in his throat. "Er, yeah, lets! ...Do that. Yeah." In only a matter of seconds, a slow trickle of sweat had begun a steady treck from the corner of Leon's forehead down to his neck. Dance? Leon? That was like telling an elephant to play Go. There was just too much of a size discrepancy for it to work properly. But wasn't this exactly what he had wanted? Damn right it was, Leon told himself: He'd had his eye on Constance for some time now, so to screw up now would mean utter devastation. He'd just have to wing this like he had never winged something before. Leon turned to the side for just a moment, and discreetly wiped at his forehead with his bandanna. When he turned back around, he was looking a sight more confident (though with a nervous glint in his eye). "Sooo," Leon continued, keeping his voice smooth, "How do you dance?" ----------------- So, the guy was turning out to be pretty persistant. Rebecca crossed her arms, raised a thin eyebrow reminiscent of the kind that were known to launch ships, and studdied this oily young man. He wasn't bad looking, per se, but there was something about him that was vaguely distasteful. He also had strange sparkly tooth ornaments, which Rebecca didn't quite understand, but nonetheless found slightly obnoxious. However, he making quite the effort, and that was something. Plus, beyond the usual leering and ogling which Rebecca was becoming used to, he hadn't really tried to pull any stunts, which was a thumbs-up in her book. So, for lack of anything better to do, she decided to humor him. Easing her haughty glare a few notches, Rebecca said "Fine, I suppose. Since it seems you can't take a hint." |

Sting's departure was... sudden. Expected, but still sudden. Issac fought not to laugh while he was within earshot, but as soon as he couldn't feel the excitable boy's presence, the empath began to keel forward, catching Jade as she slipped forward. His arms around her, they laughed together. His own emotions began to well back up, and added onto his feeling Jade's entertained psyche. Stuttering to a halt, Issac pieced together an excuse behind it. It was a balant lie, especially to a girlfriend which could read his mind, Issac tried not to blush even deeper into shame. Yeah... he knew that they had a very intimate knowledge of each other's bodies, but still... they were alone when they did that sort of thing, not in the middle of a crowd of one thousand plus - and he had to remind himself about his headache. Not wanting it to back up into Jade's psyche, Issac quickly pushed that issue into the back of his mind. He gave Jade a curt smile, and hugged her closer for a second. "Its where we are, not where you're kissing." Was all he (hopefully) needed to whisper in her ear. But anyway, he continued on, spinning her around as they traversed the concrete dance floor. He was alive with emotions now, filling him up and setting his soul on fire. It was a mix of glorious pain, joy and love that made up human relationships. - - - - - Sting's head popped in through the window as Alyss let go of a second chocolate. "DUCK!" She threw herself backward, letting the blast carry her back somewhat as the explosion bit off a half foot hole in the windowsill. Naru yelped, and kicked up a lot of rose petals as she scampered off. The click of the bedroom door finalized things for the two of them. Staring at each other as rose petals twisted in the disturbed air around him. Alice was excitedly jabbering on about one hell of an entrance, but Alyss ignored her. "Well... at least you're here." She dusted herself off as she came up from the crouched down position she had used to steady herself, hoping that nothing had fallen off when she had rolled backwards. She couldn't help but smile a bit as she looked at him, all disheveled and... less shiny. "You look better like that, Sting. Don't worry, Issac said you would probably be late... something about a prank I suppose." Her wry smile brightened somewhat, and she gently flicked a single red rose at him. "Now come on and pick up your date the proper way." Pointing her thumb at the door, the corners of her lips were in danger of touching her ears. Standing up, she waded through the sea of red petals towards the door. "Oh, Sting? Not so many flowers next time, alright?" From behind the door, Naru's laughter was muffled a slight bit... but not by much. - - - - - The nervous rush that hit him was as familiar as an armed soldier in this place... he felt it... someone familiar caused him to jerk away from Jade and he turned around to face... Tulip. His first real girlfriend, to a sort. Still who she was. They had found each other... something. Their relationship had ended early, for some reason or another... Issac had found himself confused, and eventually he had twisted those emotions into a tight little ball and flung it to the back of his consciousness. "Uh... hi, Tulip. Its been a while, huh?" How long had they been apart for? It had been... maybe a year, almost? More. He wasn't sure anymore. Issac's body temperature seemed to drop for a few seconds, feeling a little awkward and afraid. How was she going to react to the girl he had been dancing with for the last few minutes? Oh... wait. Right. Jade didn't know about Tulip. "Oh. This is Jade, by the way. Jade, this is Tulip... we...dated, I guess... its been a long time since I've seen her..." Edited by Izzy, Feb 18 2009, 03:38 AM.

"Uh... hi, Tulip. Its been a while, huh?" Ah quite yes, Tulip didn't notice Jade and neither did Piper it would seem who was very distracted by staring at the door. The color in Issac's cheeks had changed quite quickly and Tulip was still as flushed pink as ever. It was.. embarrassing, almost to see him again but Tulip shrugged it off and bore a smile. "A very long while Issac, I'm really sorry I haven't spoken with you for so long" That was the reason for the embarrassment. The last time Issac and Tulip talked Tulip had.. stepped aside so to speak when another girl showed interest in him. Things might have turned out different but everything happened for a reason and Tulip was in love with someone else now. This was closure. And then Issac addressed his date, which Tulip quickly learned went by Jade. When Tulip was introduced she bowed her head politely and smiled softly. "Oh. This is Jade, by the way. Jade, this is Tulip... we...dated, I guess... its been a long time since I've seen her..." "We kinda.. dated. I guess I still feel bad for not staying your friend Issac. I guess I was.. lost um.. confused about my feelings. I should of stayed and talked to you more, I didn't even tell you that my mother died and that was why I left. I should of been more of a friend" Tulip had glanced away, something she rarely did but for some reason she became incredibly uncomfortable at that moment. It was Piper's fault for bringing her here, had she really given Piper the wrong message or did Piper somehow want to embarrass her? No, Tulip couldn't think such a thing.. "But your dancing, so I will leave you alone. Um.. please have a good time at the dance" Another bow, and Tulip was already shuffling toward the opposite end of the room. What a great start to the night already.. |

Yoko's eyes were wide. And she was most definitely going to have to take revenge for this. Carniku had kissed her. He, had, kissed, her. She wanted to tear his face off. But first, she had to stop blushing. She was greatly red. We're talking volcano here. It was something strange, unstoppable, and over all. Adorable. To anyone else at least. That girl was just crazy and planned to pummel him even harder for all this. The problem was breaking the kiss. A throat punch would have been the smart idea. To just slam her fist hard into that needed meaty portion of his windpipe. It would crush him, but she couldn't get the blow in. Instead, she just pushed him away at his chest, her hand a flat palm pressing against his chest. She stared into his eyes. Or at least what she thought was his eyes. Trying to regain control of herself. This was completely not like him. "I knew you wanted to get on top of me from last time. Just didn't think you would go through with it. However, I am going to have to hurt you for this." -- Ah. Rebecca still had not pummeled Diyu into paste. This was a good sign. Probably. "A hint my dear? No no no. Not even the very curse of god himself in heaven could keep me from you." He laid it on thick after all. Why not drag his god into this? He gave a smirk that Diyu. Bringing his hand down to hers, while he moved in, closing the gap between their bodies. He was being very, very careful not to blatantly stare at her chest. He did it out of the corner of his eye, using his peripheral vision to investigate her delicious bits. "Now then, how about you put those hands on my ass, and we start to sway?" He meant dance. He really did. We totally swear he did. -- Now for Jade. Well, she was getting her boyfriend to blush a bit more. And was getting him to start to dance. Which meant it was an even more awesome night for her. He was doing this for her, sure, she knew it hurt him quite a bit to deal with all the background noise. All the people. And it was selfish to want him to be there for a while with her, to make him dance and blush. But considering what she planned to do to make it up with him, it was a fair trade. At least, that is what she thought. The girl's head fell down to rest on Issac's shoulder. A soft sway about it that she found so relaxing. His heat, his smell (oh yes, she loved his smell), and the ever relaxing presence of his mind in hers. Sure she didn't like people fleeting into her mind, it was an invasion of privacy to her. Except for him, for some reason, she was more then happy to share even the darkest corners of her mind with Issac. She really did not hold any secret. Of course there were a few skeletons in both their closets. One of which was standing before them now. Jade knew he had been interested in other girls, even when he was seeing her in the beginning. She however knew nothing about Tulip. And was more then a little afraid to meet someone, to have even the chance about being stacked up and compared to another of Issac's girlfriends. He tried to do the right thing, to introduce them and be honest. But it still hurt the former goth. She lifted her head from his shoulder, taking a look at Tulip and she instantly felt inferior. Jade had a terrible self image, and her was a girl that simply sparkled. "H-hello." She managed out. Jade's body was freezing solid about now, unable to find the courage to face this girl on her own. She wanted to ask if they needed to be alone to talk. Jade was not going to play the possessive girl. He could be friends with his ex. She didn't own the boy. Besides, she grew up in a polygamous family, in her eyes, no boy would ever be happy with just one girl. Jade had just always hoped that girl she'd have to share him with would be Alyss. The problem was the girl started walking away. To which the former goth girl detached herself from her boyfriend and, looking down at the floor, mumbled her best idea. "You should go talk to her. I'll be fine. I'll just get some punch while you two talk." Edited by Mr. Trout, Feb 18 2009, 01:00 AM.

"I know that feeling all to well honestly." Note to self, thank mom for insisting that he take some formal attire with him here. It beats him having to wear his uniform here, like some other students from both schools had done. But as Kenji was escorting Ally to the table, he felt a poke in his side. Thankfully, he didn't have anything in his hands to drop from the surprise of it all. "I guess so, I haven't seen a lot of them here either." Just like her, the next part was said quietly as well while he picked up glass and handed it to her. Tonight's supposed to be a rather nice event, after all. "I wouldn't say that. Some of them are cutting loose out there. Some, on the other hand... yeah, they might need to take that advice." Speaking of which, on the other side of the gym, Yusei was still playing the wallflower, but unlike some of his other classmates, he was just being patient. Sure, he was going to have fun, but the real reason why he came here stood out first. Thankfully, that part was about to resolve itself, when he noticed an unattached young woman walk in. A bit older then he was, but that didn't mean anything at this point. Heh... mission start... The serious thought that was on his mind was completely hidden by the sly looking grin that was on his face. Carefully wading through the crowd, he confidently stood up to the girl in the gold dress and held out his hand. "Excuse me, can I have this dance?" Edited by Neo, Feb 18 2009, 08:21 AM.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR Eeth had brought trouble along. He had climbed into her room by the balcony. How he had found out where she lived, she could never tell but that was besides the point now. The point was the fact that he, rather drunkenly, had asked him out to dance. So little Red put on her best hood, stepped into her dancing shoes and fired up her dancing chainsaw. Yes, somehow, the psycho girl in the blood red hood had found herself a chainsaw. She entered the dance, looking around for Eeth. Spotting him, she began to walk forward, the throng dividing, as she advanced in mockery of the biblical parting of the red sea. It was just Eeth and his nerdlad body shield now. She grinned wide and broke into a run. She was eager to show Eeth some of the new moves she had learned just for Valentine's. Edited by Sonnet, Feb 18 2009, 09:58 AM.

Accepting the punch she took a sip of it, momentarily remembering her first cup that had gone flying when the unamed boy from earlier had taken her out onto the floor to dance. Glancing around she didn't see the cup anywhere or any mess that could have been due to her enthusiastic departure, and silently thanked whoever had picked up after her. Tilting her head towards her friend she listened to his hushed responce, pursing her lips to keep from chuckling. Ally had never been too fond of the local private schools growing up - those kids were always so stuck up and malicous, and unfortunatly that view was adhearing its' self to the St Lillies students with little to no reason. Was it a rational oppinion? No. But not everything a person does is rational. Shruging her shoulders she took another sip of her punch before adding, "Oh well - I've never seen them before so I don't know why I'd ever see them again unless they are invited here, so it really doesn't matter." Absently snagging a small square of something dark and chocolate covered looking thing she poped it into her mouth enjoying the luxuries of the party. Glancing around at no one in particular she surveyed those cloese to the snack table seeing a few faces she had passed by to and from classes, but no one she knew by name. She had anticipated a party at a Japanese school to be different from one in America - so she was a little startled at its' seeming normality of it all; of course where she lived there was always at least two or three scuffles that would later be called fights and then all out brawls when the stories were retold. It was rather plesant that no one was fighting... |

"Ahah... Opps I forgot to ask your name as well. It's Zen!" He said stifling the overcoming urge to laugh himself. Another quick spin brought them into an innocent enough reverse hug as they looked out to the crowd. All he needed now was a rose then it would be just like the movies you know? Ah there we go. He turned his head to the left and pulled a rose out of some guys coat pocket and put it in his mouth. The kid turned to say something, but was greeted by Vincent. Well that was enough to make the kid silent. Anyway back to Zen and Kimi. He spun her back around and tilted her down like you would see in all the romantic comedys... Minus either of them tripping. The suprise to him was that he was so good at dancing with another; she was a natural as well. She was definatly an interesting student, it was a wonder he hadn't noticed her till now. This was his first dance with anyone besides himself nothing could ruin this moment... Well the chainsaw revving up and going through the parting crowds came close, but luckily no dice in distracting him. "Ayah; Valentines Massacre... So now that you know my name, may I be so lucky as to hear yours? Oh and thanks for the compliment your not so bad yourself." He twisted the rose and handed it to her. So far so good. Now for Vincent's view of the dance. He had stood up for Zen when he took the other guys flower. He had slipped the random dancer a hundred yen; not much, but enough for him to be quiet. Zen should at least be able to have a fun time. His eyes soon began to wander yet again. There were some St. Lilly students here. He heard some random ones asking questions about AHS... That was suspicous, but it didn't give him enough interest to find out about it. Wait a minute... That feeling. "Well well... Long time no see." Vincent appeared by the table nearest Leyah. She looked completely different from the Leyah he knew, but the feeling was the same. He leaned against the table and looked over to her, "So how've you been?" |

Out of the corner of her eye, Natsumi spied the boy who had helped her up after the Onyx attack. Yusei...that what his name was, she had kinda gone around finding out a bit about him after that. N-not like she was a stalker o-or anything. But enough shyness, you should ask him to ask you to dance, Natsumi! "Yusei san-" But by that time he had gone to ask another girl to dance. "Waited too long..." She said to herself with a sad smile. Red clad girl, he knew a bit about her. But all Masashi was focusing on at the moment was the fact that she was on a full out run towards the mayor of Domino Town with a grin that would make the reaper himself uneasy. He moved through the crowd like a breeze, brushing past the happy couples with very little trouble. They seemed to bunch together once engaged in a dance, bastards. Masashi rooted himself firmly between Eeth and Red, one hand at the side of his wooden bouken, brushing the hilt in a way that said to Red "Make trouble and I will make more." Masashi didnt know the circumstances, but he knew Eeth looked scared, and Red looked crazy. He reeeally didn't want to start a fight tonight. "What did you do this time, hellsing?" Masashi growled over his shoulder at Eeth. |

Before Vincent had a chance to approach her, another young boy had. Before she could get into a deep conversation with him about her whereabouts, she was accepting the other boys offer. It wasn’t that she was trying to be rude to Vincent; it was that the boy had asked first. As politely as she could she excused herself from his presence, thinking the dance would last about as long as one song. She had taken the boys hand and smiled with her lips. Kysse preoccupied herself with a bowl of punch and looked around for a chair to sit in. She had a lot on her mind as she watched the area. The dancers swayed at the same rhythm and what not. There were plenty of people she wished were here. As far as she could see, none were here. That’s when she noticed Isaac, but he looked pretty preoccupied dancing, and even talking with other girls, he was a very popular guy. On the other hand there were others around that she recognized too. It was weird to think that she had been at this school for so long. It almost made her miss being home schooled. There she didn’t wonder what other people thought because there was no one else around. |

Kira could feel the nervousness of Go the moment his hands were placed on his hips. She noticed his eyes had ventured off, and already came to the assumption he didn't know how to dance. >>"I've n-never really danced before..."<< She smiled lightly and shook her head. "Don't worry about it," she tilted her head to the side, her eyes filled with a brightness that could vanquish any shadow. "It's really easy. Follow my lead; right foot first." Though she knew normally the men were the ones to lead the dance, that didn't stop Kira from taking initiative once again. She took a step back and softly pulled Go along with her movements. It was a bit awkward leading with her hands loosely around his neck, but she didn't mind. She shifted on the ball of her foot and leaned Go to her right with her next step, hoping that Go would continue to follow her lead. "See?" Kira smiled happily. "It's no so hard when you don't think about it so much. It's sort of like a martial arts Kata, but you can make it up as you go along." Through the corner of her eye, Gemini watched as her friend's daughter reluctantly dragged someone unfamiliar to her across the dance floor, and from her own perception, assumed to take the lead. She let out a small chuckle as she tilted her head to the side. It was nice to witness the girl so happy, so content. It made that life-altering decision she had made nearly a life time ago all the more relevant. Even still, she felt indebted to the Rounin family. Thus, Gemini remained at the school to keep a watchful eye on the crimson haired girl. Quite honestly, she always seemed to have a run of bad luck. So, when she noticed the girl dancing at a Valentines Day dance with someone of interest, it did nothing but widen the smile upon the sapphire-crimson streak-haired woman's features. Instead of attempting to find a suitable partner to dance with, like her current roommate, Gemini was content with simply watching as the younglings began the accept into maturity. Living through such an age made her feel a bit giddy herself, despite her other half grimacing at the very thought of receiving a confession of love via a note signed by a secret admirer. Then again, finding someone her actual age would be quite difficult. Thus, the sapphire hued woman began to make her way passed the courtyard's dancing floor and over toward the refreshments. She flatted a small wrinkle in that jaded colored dress and adjusted a few strands of her hair before reaching a hand over toward the punch bowl. Sure, it was fun to be a kid again, but quite frankly... well, it had its ups and downs... |

Well that hit a nerve. Vincent had never felt quite THIS much anger before in his life. Several times it had come close, and the result was never pretty. The teen turned and quickly downed several glasses of punch like it was going out of style. This didn't help, but actually made even madder for some reason. He didn't care if they asked first; Leyah COULD'VE said no, but instead she said yes and didn't even say Hi to him. He was trying to stifle his anger, but was failing miserably. Another random guy walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Yo your lose... You okay dude?" The teen was met with a fist to the chest. The blow didn't even register untill about three seconds had passed; at which point the shock of the punch sent the kid flying a few feet back and into one of the tables behind him sending punch and confetti across the court yard. A feat not normally possible with his build; unless you had help from a certain dark entity. Jealousy, indeed a most dangerous emotion that could drive people to do some crazy things. Throughout Vincent's life he had been rejected by those who he thought loved him, including his father. Leyah didn't have any idea of that needless to say and usually Vincent's will was strong enough to block out jealousy, but it was boosted by the Angel King. Luckily just at the last second he was able to make the creature descend back into his soul. Still this didn't reduce the amount of anger that was building from within his body. He cracked his knuckles, pushing Zen and his dance partner aside as he walked up to Leyah and this 'boy'. He tapped on the boys shoulder to make him turn around. When he did he would see a fist being thrown at his face, and would only have a split second to dodge it. Vincent was pissed to say at the very least. Ryu looked Eddie and Gojairu over, stroking his chin, deciding if he wanted to give the two kids a shot. Well, what could it hurt? He'd give them a shot, but before he let them know, he had to test them. "Ok, here's a test for you two," said Ryu, his hands on his waist, a devious look on his face. "You two wanna play for the dance? Lemme hear you play some Jimi Hendrix." That's when Ryu suddenly felt a sudden spike in someone's energy signature. He had been feeling general increases in people's ki, chalking it up to the intimate nature of the dance, however this spike was too sudden. So either someone had just busted a nut or there was a fight starting. Either was possible and both were unacceptable. It took Ryu less than a moment to find the source and recognize who it belonged to. Before he could even excuse himself to Eddie and Gojairu, Ryu was gone, a rather strong gust of wind having picked up from Ryu's extremely quick movement. Ryu dashed over to Vincent, catching his fist before it could smash the face of the guy who had been dancing with Vincent's lady friend. "Now, now, gentlemen," said Ryu, glancing from Vincent to this guy then back to Vincent, warm smile on his face, even as he held Vincent's fist in his palm. "This is Valentine's Day, it's time for love, not fighting!" ------------------- Go followed along with Kira's movements, every now and then glancing down at his feet, just to make sure he wasn't stepping on Kira's feet. Fortunately for Kira, he didn't. It was funny, Go was completely awkward when it came to martial arts however, when dancing with Kira, his movements were smooth, fluid, and graceful. "I'm s-starting to get the hang of this," said Go happily. His cheeks were still quite red, but it was clear he wasn't as nervous before, though his smile still showed a bit nervousness. "Would you mind if I t-tried to lead, Kira-san?" --------------------- Joseph glanced at Yasuo as he followed his line of sight, spotting Katje as she approached. "I see...so would you say...your in danger of dying?" In response, Joseph simply glared at Yasuo. Honestly, not responding probably gave a message much louder and clearer than anything he could have said. Honestly, Joseph didn't know what he thought about Katje. Joseph had never really met anyone he liked, everyone around him generally being weak and/or stupid. Joseph was unsure if she were weak or strong, but she was certainly not stupid. Maybe she was worthy of Joseph's time? A small smirk spread across Joseph's face as he realized how intrigued he was by this girl. "Interesting..." |

"We'll kick the ass right off this place, just you watch, Mr.Musashi." (Let it not be said that Eddie ever looks a gift horse in the mouth. For, while he had no idea who this girl was, he could immediately tell - Nay, sense! - that she was a player, and that that was gonna bring about one HELLUVA night, or his name was not the name of Eddie Rabbleshlack! Seeing another guitarist pop outta nowhere was like a friggin' omen, a prophecy of awesomesauce! Oh yes, this was gonna work out perfectly. Eddie waited on Ryu's word on the matter, and here is what he had to say...) "You two wanna play for the dance? Lemme hear you play some Jimi Hendrix." (Eddie's face lit up like a firecracker waitin' to go off.) Eddie: Hendrix? HENDRIX?! You got yerself a deal, Musashi-man! I will show you Jimi Hendrix like no tomorrow! BWA HA HA HA HAAA!!! (He stood there, laughing maniacally in the pose of a mad scientist, for a moment. Like father, like son, eh? However, Eddie heard some commotion and quickly returned to normal crazy mode, giving Gojairu a backwards glance.) Eddie: Just in the nick a' time too. "Little Miss Strange". (He named the title he wanted to start with and headed immediately for the sound system in a hurried rush, suddenly pulling out a load of connector wires for just about any system that could EXIST. Eddie was a mad genius of music. It happened. And with a cry of "SCIENCE!!", he had everything plugged in. He waited for Gojairu to catch up before getting started. People would hear the hand in music and see Eddie's fingers working the mercury-strings as he sang into his portable mic.) No one knows where she comes from. Maybe shes a devil in disguise. I can tell by looking in her eyes... Little miss strange, Little miss strange... (This only got weirder as Eddie began to transform INTO Jimi Hendrix. He couldn't control that. It was conditional that he be singing or playing music to do it. Bwa ha ha...) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (At about this time, the confrontation with Darrel had become...odd. Let us explain. He came in, off-handedly, and simply opened conversation to be friendly and get to know AHS students and such. The lack of recognition was an obvious detail, since there was no way that he knew ANY of these people, even though Vex mentioned that he had information on all of them. How the ancient demon managed that, we don't know and PLEASE do not ask unless you want a sound thrashing. But what Darrel didn't expect was the sudden look that had crossed the white-haired girl's eyes. Oh, he noticed. One of his primary abilities was in perception. He could tell when people were looking at him, from all angles. And the closer they were, the more he could tell about the looks he was getting. This was a startled reaction, clearly, and he was unsure about that. About why... After conferring with the guy that he was an unknown, the girl spoke.) “I’m sorry if this sounds rude but, have we met before?” Darrel: No, I think I'd remember the encounter. My name is Darrel. I'm from St. Lily's. (He gave off a half-smile. It was a case of mistaken identity, was it? No, he'd never seen her before in his life, and he would remember if she had seen him.) Darrel: Okay, where have YOU seen her before? In AHS, Duh. Darrel: Never a straight answer... (The demon chortled, though not out loud in any sense of the word. Vex was little more than an overhanging observer tonight unless something REAL started up. Like that fight over there or the chainsaw guy who- No, nevermind that now, Darrel. The MISSION, Darrel. The mission!) Darrel: So, who are you? And your apparently-older friend? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (It was rather ironic that Eddie had started with "Little Miss Strange", given the current condition of one Som Lugoti, currently perched atop her sister in weirdly-perfect balance...and about three seconds from getting pummeled if she didn't get OFF!! Fortunately for Som, something caught her eye. In her amusingly drunken-and-crazy state, her eyes narrowed on the prime target for the evening: A guy. Specifically...Zen.) Som: Oooh! Target in range! Preparing to fire! Elisa: Som, what're you doing? You're not thinking of- Som: Why not?! (Elisa paused, then smiled. Why not? She was hardly a voice of reason herself.) Elisa: Go get 'im, slugger. Som: EXCELSIOR!!! (From her highpoint on top of Elisa's head, Som tested the lengths of her agility by leaping straight at Zen in a high-velocity tackle of epic-proportions, which would end in her grinning like a goofball and saying, "Hi! Wanna dance?" Elisa laughed at this, though she decided it was high time she did something else around here. That was when she noticed a young man walking around with a wooden sword. Aha! A fighter! That was something that she could understand in this mess. Even if she wasn't picking fights tonight - we hope - there was still a chance to get to know some people who liked that sort of thing. She therefore walked up behind Musashi and spoke clearly.) Elisa: Why do men of this country always feel the need to carry around these silly wooden things? |

Gojairu grinned "Little miss strange, eh? Suits me like a suitcoat, mister." She said adding her own cackle to the cacophony. After setting up her amplifier and plugging in her guitar she was greeted with the welcoming feed back, meaning that with a small distance adjustment she'd be ready to kick some hendrix. Hendrix...Hendrix was right next to her!! "What the name of woodstock..." She gasped, she was right next to hendrix...THE hendrix?...wait where did Eddie go?...oh, was he a shapeshifter? Man whatever, play the song, Ru! She wasted no more time, and began ripping along with Hendrix/Eddie, the two of them probably causing quite a funkadelic racket. "Believe me missy, if I brought my real sword, it'd take up more space. And im just as skilled with this..." Masashi said, keeping his focus on Red. Edited by Dust, Feb 20 2009, 09:56 AM.

Noah's laugh rung out a bit louder, she grinned at Viktor and looked down for a few seconds, still chuckling. "Well, to be perfectly honest, there was never anything in the first place. Oliver..is a player. And I'm not exactly interested in him. Anymore atleast." She flushed alittle when she says this, because she was a bit embarresed, but a little more or less still angered from before. The dancing continues for quite a bit, all the while they continue, moving finely to the beat. "You've got some fancy footwork there," She compliments, humourosly. Her eyes trail up at him, and she studies his glasses. "Do..you need to wear them? I mean, from down here, I can see your lrises. They're..red." She gazes on in awe, and then smiles showing him she didn't mean it in a bad way. "I, well I like them. They're really nice." She offers genuinly. As they continue to dance, Noah fallows along effortlessly, adding her personal flair. She wanted to spin but waited for him to twirl her arm. They seemed to make good dancer partners, and took note of that. As the song finally dwindles. They end up at the edge of the marble floor. "Do you want to walk around? We did some nice scenic walkways, in the garden." She offers, hoping he'd ablige. As they make their way down one gravel path, near the punch table, Noah folds her hands behind her back. Her long bronzy waves fall over her shoulds and she looks up to start a casual conversation. Man, was he tall. To her anyways. "So..I mean, how did you end up coming to this school?" She asks since he is new, thinking hopeful to herself. Maybe we have some classes together, and I didn't notice As she ponders she looks at the set up on this walk way, The theme was Paris, the city of love and lights. So you can imagine how many christmas lights were strewn about the bushes, while paper lanterns hung on the trees overhead. The flower beds were colorful, and decorated with momentos of Paris, mostly barrets, bus tickets, chocolates, croissants made out of cardboard, and to top it all off a megar depition of the Eiffel tower. To Noah the lights were nice, but the cardboard cutouts were just silly, and she smiled to herself, reveling in the moment. |

One hand wrapped around her camera, raised high in the air, and the other clutching her evening bag close to her side cut through swaths of the dance, her eyes pools of frustration of dealing with this tight crowd environment. Her eyes caught glimpses through the crowd of Joseph straight before deciding instead to divert towards the dance area. Coming onto the edge of the dance area through a scattered crowd, Katje kept on the great circumference of the edge as she eyed individual students. Occasionally her camera languidly took haphazard snapshots of the dancers, later they would be able to identify them as High School or Academy. She more interested in finding a similar symptom of overwhelming adolescent hormones. A fight. Turning towards the stage she saw the brief glimpse of Ryu before he disappeared. A shocked look was turned to a cut smirk when she saw him standing in the dance area, with some kids fist in his grip. Considering it worthless to waste pictures of Meta-Humanity's prime example, the corner of her eye turned back towards the stage. Noticing the change, she took a quick picture of Eddie in the form of Jimi Hendrix. It was more of a obscure note to Katje, by no means a piece of valuable information. She was more interested in what the kid's reaction would be. |

Before she could even get the sentence out she had her back to him. This position left Kimi at odds with herself. It was intimate to say the least but she didn’t mind it so much. She was having fun and her world went spinning again. Now where had he gotten that rose? Did it matter? No, not really. Zen had been dubbed spontaneous and unpredictable, among other things. “Kimiko, my name is Kimiko Phrotus.” She repeated it to make sure he heard her over the music. Blushing she took the rose and stuck it in her hair. The sound of the chainsaw were slightly unnerving but she felt safe enough. That was until some other boy pushed past them. Really now, was that necessary? She didn’t have time to think too much on that before a girl came flying in. At least, she thought that blur of motion was a girl. *Gulp* Her face blanched as the fight or flight instincts kicked in. Somehow Kimi found the resources to remove herself from a potentially painful situation. - - - - - - A small smile of satisfaction crossed her cherub lips. Constance was finding out that she enjoyed making large men fumble. Oh the feel of it; that was power you couldn’t buy but mostly it reassured her that Leon was more than just a big brawny brute. As he faltered she pretended to pick lint off her dress as if she wouldn’t notice him wiping his brow. Not notice Leon… right. Leon was not only enormous, he was handsome and always had that half-awake look about him. Overall it left him looking cute, like a really big puppy she wanted to bring home and take care of. And in this realization Constance blushed slightly. Oh dear, did she have a thing for Leon!? “Comment?” No wait, that was French. “I mean, what?” Sweet distraction. “Well it depends on the music, silly man. Just do not step on my feet or else I may cry.” If anyone had seen the sheer size of Leon’s feet they’d understand that comment. Aside from that, on to the dance. Constance had formal training in ballroom dancing but none in the free spirited jiggity jive all of the teens were doing. No, those were lessons hard learned in the confines of her room. Privacy insured her sisters wouldn’t see the silliness but the truth was, Constance could actually dance. Just so long as she didn’t trip over her hair they’d all be okay. By now she was trying to get Leon out among the others. “Enough talk, more dancing. If all else fails we can say we were just trying to blend in, now move! Let the music do all the work.” |

He let a small grin run across his face as Noah explained the guy, his worries faded away. "I see" he said calmly to hr words about Oliver. As they danced he took note of how well they seemed to blend their individual falvours of the song. At the complement of his dancing ability Viktor chuckled. "Thanks" was the only thing he said. He didn't really know where he had picked up the ability to dance, perhaps it was something that came natural to him, almost as if the music used his body as a form of conduit. When the conversation switched to his glasses, he sighed silightly. He hadn't really thought about it but he probably would end up explaining them many times over. "I don't have to...but they help" He didn't even dare to try and take them off. Even with the advancments he has made with focusing out noise around him he knew that the sound of the large audio equipment would have devistating effects on him. "I can't take them off now" He said sending her into a small spin "Maybe when things quiet down" He didn't realize that this statment would seem strange to the shorter girl he was dancing with. The song slowed to a stop shortly thereafter the notion of taking a walk was suggested. He nodded "yeah sure". They began walking away from the dance floor and as he told her earlier he slowly removed his oddly shapen tinted glasses and hung them on the chain around his neck. In front of him a solid blanket of lights formed, visable only to him. He gave a small glance back to the dance floor behind them, it looking almost as if someone had set it ablaze. The sight made him squint a little as he set his gaze to Noah walkign beside him. "how'd I end up here?" He recited the question. "Well my parents thought I belonged here" That was the only answer he could come up with. He really didn't understand why they wanted him to attend the school, it was never something he really thought to hard on. |

Picking up a glass of his own, Kenji took a sip as Ally did. It wasn't all that bad honestly, granted that the vibe is a little threatening. At least the decor here was pleasant, that counted for a lot. He didn't really take a moment to observe the grounds, what with all the hearts and the moon above. Best part was the fact that the weather was nice even, very unusual for this time of the year. His observations were halted by the comment Ally made about the guests to the school. Granted, Kenji didn't know any of them on a first name basis, more like reputation than anything else. But from what he's seen, either they were sticking to conversing with themselves, or some were talking with members of AHS, but nothing was happening at the moment at least. As long as it was quiet like this, it may end up being a rather entertaining night after all. "I guess, though we might see them whenever we head into Domino for anything. I'm not one to start anything tonight though, If they say anything, without starting a ruckus, no reason why I can't either, right?" He didn't get anything sweet though, he just grabbed a piece of cheese that was cut in a heart shape and bit into that. Nothing hot or such, it was actually quite soft. Just then the tempo of the music picked up, but he was feeling the beat. "Hey, you want to dance? I'm pretty sure I can avoid stepping on your feet." Dancing.. doesn't that sound familiar? For Yusei, he had just got the glimpse of the young girl and walked with her out to the dance floor as soon as she excused herself from the guy that walked over to them just now. He seemed a bit steamed at that moment, perhaps she meant something to him? Eh, how would he know, he was just a guest here tonight, and he meant to have his fun. He was about to start dancing when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Thinking it was someone from the school, he turned around to see who it was, when he saw a fist coming right to his face. He didn't even have a chance to flinch when another hand came in his view. So this was the Special Powers Teacher of AHS in the flesh huh? It was a good thing that he did his homework before coming here tonight. "You might want to mention that to him then. All I did was ask for a dance here, not to get jumped for no reason." Actually, things turned out even better then he expected. Having someone of his stature reveal how quick he was, right off the bat? "Now if you don't mind, I do owe this young lady a dance." No, I think I'd remember the encounter. My name is Darrel. I'm from St. Lily's. Well, no wonder Neo didn't realize where he was from, he hasn't been anywhere near St. Lily's before. It was just one of those random "who actually knows who" moments, that's all. Before Darell could ask his question though, two things were happening around him. Was was some kid about to be sucker punched, but Ryu kinda stopped that one from happening. The other, of course, had to involve Eeth, but he looked even more frantic then... well, usual. That's when he saw the chainsaw, and figured... Eh, he'll be alright. Sighing slightly over the "older" comment that was made, he did owe this guy a response at least, before he had to actually go back to work. "Sorry sweetheart, looks like duty calls. Save me a dance though. And to answer your question, the name's Neo. Former student of AHS." Hugging her once before letting go of her waist, he calmly walked off in the direction opposite of where Eeth's disturbance was, still keeping his eyes on everything. Uhh, this is gonna be a long night... Edited by Neo, Feb 18 2009, 11:25 PM.

Corey nervously peered her head around the door. She was late. Very late. She felt so horrible, she promised a friend of a friend she would hang out with him on Valentines, and had spent days thinking about nothing but this night... And now she was late. She sighed heavilly, praying one last time to anyone listening that he would still be here. She hadn't had alot of time to prepare and felt rather underdressed as she watched the girls at the party float past her in amazing dresses... Some were certainly more casually dressed which made her feel a little better but she couldn't help but feel that she should have spent more time preparing. Her brown/auburn hair was messily curled around her face which was splashed with simple shades of makeup; a bit of silver sparkle on her eyes and a deep rose coloured lipstick. She scanned the area once more, hoping to catch a glimpse of Frank, but when she didn't see him she thought she'd better bite the bullet and go look for him herself. Taking a breath she stepped into the room. She had on a cocktail length deep red strapless dress that hugged her body nicely, and plain (but rather high) silver heels. She hadn't really had the time to go hunting through her belongings for nice jewelery to match, so she went without. She pushed her way through people, smiling and apologising nervously every time she bumped into someone, constantly keeping her eyes peeled for signs of her friends. But of course, she couldn't see anyone anywhere. Where was Noah? Well more importantly (at the moment anyway) where was Frank? Perhaps Oliver was here somewhere? She was just contemplating whether or not to head over to the bar and hope someone would find her there, when she saw oliver heading her way through the crowd. She smiled widely, something she never thought she would do at the sight of Oliver, and hurried over to him. He was a nice guy, just a bit... creepy. Silent and reserved. As always he was looking incredibly pale and uninterested, but in some strange way more handsome than every man in the room. It was going to take a while to figure this guy out. "Oliver!" She called as she reached him. "How's it going? Been up to alot?" She started asking, more for small talk than anything as he was probably a bit shocked that she had bounded up to him so quick. Her eyes, however, didn't meet his so she couldn't be sure. "Where is everyone? Is Noah here somewhere?" She was anxious to meet up with her friend, but at the same time she wouldn't have been surprised if the charming Noah had found some adorable guy to dance the night away with. So instead Corey asked, "Where's Frank?" she bit her lip as she asked, a little nervous that maybe he would be mad that she was so late. |

'dammit... Oh well....' he said as Kimi spun off. He smiled at Maderame. 'Win some lose some right?' he said in his always optimistic southern way. Kaneda walked over the bowl and grabbed another drink. He was dying for a cigarette, and stuck his hand into his pocket to grab another when he saw Kysse sitting alone. Of course, he didn't know her, but she was very good looking. Kaneda decided well, thats not right. a beautiful girl sitting all by herself. it's a travesty. Go fix it. he walked over to the girl and smiled. 'Hi, I don't mean to interrupt, but I saw you sittign alone and I was wondering if I could join you. name's Kaneda Mitsurugi. What's yours?' He offered his hand to shake hers. |

"Now if you don't mind, I do owe this young lady a dance." If that kid had any idea how to sense power he'd probably be blinded at the moment by Vincent's pure unadulterated rage. One his Girlfriend was dancing with some St. Lily's punk. Two; Ryu had caught his fist mid-punch, and if Ryu was involved Vincent didn't have a death wish... Three! This kid was even more cocky then Kanji and that one was near pushing him off the edge. He ripped his fist free from Ryu's clutch with a little bit more force then he was wanting to use and spun around quickly. "You have NO idea how close you just came to dieing... Next time I see you; Ryu won't be there." He said coldly. Vincent wasn't going to be showed up by this 'kid' If Ryu hadn't have shown up that kid woulda been reeling from a bloody nose. "No Idea", He said looking Ryu in the eyes. His 'Ki' spiked tremondously in anger, but he wasn't about to start something with one of the more well-known meta-humans. Hell Ryu had probably seen so many things in his life that his Ki didn't even register for em. That's just the way it was. "Fine I know when I'm not welcome." Vincent walked off and smashed one of the tables down in the process... Better wood then a life you know? /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ ~REEEEEE~ chainsaw. -puff- Getting pushed by Vincent- “Kimiko, my name is Kimiko Phrotus.” Zen smiled; That's nice --AH WHAT THE CR-!?!" Were dances ALL this chaotic? He felt his hand slightly push off of Kimi to get her away from ground Zero just in time to get glomped like you'd never been glomped before. "Karma much? Talk about ruining the moment..." He said weakly as he tried to push himself up. Apparently Zen was being unwillingly charismatic today. Some girl had randomly dive-bombed him and either her power was invisiblity or that girl was a NINJA! Zen shot up and raised his arms to pose like he was in the matrix with some killer wacky Kung-fu. He rose his leg as if he were about to pounce like a drunken kangaroo. A sigh emitted from his mouth... It wasn't a Ninja trying to take his life; it was just some goofy girl who was riding on something similar to Kimiko's sugar high. So there was a girl on the ground in a semi-sucessful glomp. A chainsaw weilding lady who was after Eeth. Jimmy Hendri- Whoh wait a minute? Hendrix was here? Oh well more important things and then there was Kimi... Who which he was enjoying his time with very much. "Err... Thanks for the glomp? I need to go now however, I was in the middle of a dance." As if... He felt as if he could barely breath right now. Crowds were one thing, but seriously there was WAY too much Chaos going on. He needed some punch or something "Well Kimiko Phrotus; How about we go for a walk?" If she said yes then he meant a dance somewhere out where the moon was the only source of light... Away from glompers and Friday the 13'th act-a-likes. |

"Hey, you want to dance? I'm pretty sure I can avoid stepping on your feet." Smiling charmingly she finished off the small cup of punch and set it on the table; there weren't any trash cans in sight so she figured this would be as good of a place as any as she set it on the table. "Sure!" Taking that as an invitation she turned towards the dance floor and was about to slip her arm through his when she heard a very distinct roaring buzz sound and paused; it was coming from the dance floor - where there seemed to be some sort of near fight going on. "Um, is that a chainsaw?" She felt crazy asking that kind of question - but the sound was very distinct and well - loud! Peering through the crowd she was suddenly a little unerved by all of this; it appeared a rather nasty almost fight was being broken up and no one was really doing much about the chainsaw... |

"Dad... I'm out of my league here" a pintsized version of Flame Darkfire commented, looking out into the crowd gathering for the dance. He was in a more traditional set of Gi and Hakama, while Flame himself was in his normal black button-up shirt and pants. "Now come on, you've got a mission," Flame whispered to Suna-chan. "I'm chaperoning so just get in there and enjoy yourself," he continued, giving Suna-chan a light push into the crowd, chuckling lightly. Suna-chan found himself lost in a sea of legs and torsos. What did you expect of a kid? These high schoolers get so tall nowadays. Anyway, Suna-chan finally managed to get to the refreshments table, grabbing a cup of punch and looking shyly around. Th St. Lilly's students seemed to be integrating really well, which made it harder for Suna-chan to tell them apart. |

This was her very first dance. Because she was raised in the forest, away from most people, Momoko didn't have much contact with people, let alone enough to learn about things such as how to dance. But she did notice earlier on, how people were dressing up in nice suits and girl in pretty dresses. She, herslef possessed only one thing worthy for such an occasion, though it was not a dress which looked like what the other girls wore. No, thanks to someone she had worked for in the little town which she visited on a daily basis, what she had was an elegant kimono and paper fan. She also had those things for your hair, but seeing as her hair was as it was..she couldn't really do anything with it. Her kimono was a soft pink with a pattern on the btoom which resembled long grass, and then there was a dragonfly on a blade, and another fly ing , and another on her right sleeve, all in a nice seafoam green. her Obi, the part that went around her bosom, was a darker forest green with a small red maple leaf on the left side. All in all, it looked nice on her. It made her feel pretty but in a way, she felt..slightly out of place. She didn't have anybody to dance with her here, nobody had taken her, she just decided to come.. Her sandles made a click sound as she walked along, keeping mostly to the wall, but at the same time enjoying the music and the sight of other people enjoying themselves. It seemed to be quite the festive occassion. |

He'd done it... He'd managed to kiss someone, in full view of the rest of the school, at a dance. His popularity must be SKY rocketting. Bit of a shame he wouldn't live long enough to enjoy it as Yoko was preeeeetty likely to kill him right now. She was saying words to that effect and he was more than willing to start fore-head butting the floor and begging to just commit Seppuku to avoid what she was almost guaranteed to do, but he wasn't able to... he as still dealing with his quasi possession and in the face of extreme violence he smiled winningly "Ahhhh, my dear, I know you want more time with me, but I'm afraid there's one more thing to do in this situation" He suddenly leant back, spun her around once more and set off at a run out of the dance "I must flee for abscence makes the heart grow fonder" His pace was suddenly broken as the spirit that had been guiding him departed with a sigh. Carniku suddenly regained his speed and sprinted for safety at the edge of the courtyard, his heart pounding. He only got out of there alive because the ghost was a coward as well... He dived for safety behind a table of punch near the wall in front of someone who seemed to be wearing a kimono, and very quickly hid, breathing heavily as he tried to think of a way to stand next to Ryu or someone else who was insanely powerful. He very carefully peeked out from behind the punch bowl and scanned the area for some sign of Yoko the psycho. Edited by Carniku, Feb 19 2009, 01:46 PM.

>>"I'm s-starting to get the hang of this."<< "That's good," Kira smiled happily, glad to see the boy loosening up, even if it was ever so slightly. >>"Would you mind if I t-tried to lead, Kira-san?"<< "Sure," Kira nodded and forfeited the lead to her dance partner. From there, on, Kira followed his lead. Her movements were like the flow of a river; fluent and without pause. Her heels clicked against the outside surface flooring, her balance seemingly perfect. Kira trailed an arm off the teen's neck and over to the hand that rested against her hip, once she felt Go was a bit more comfortable. With that, she took a step back, lifted his hand up, and spun once before allowing her self another step forward, back toward her partner. She wasn't sure if it was just the atmosphere or not, but Kira felt something... something familiar, yet, strange at the same time. It filled her body with a warmth she wanted to curl up in and lay with for all eternity. It was a comfortable sensation, but also filled with a bit of excitement and anxiety. Because of that, she couldn't seem to rid the smile from her features. Her hand replaced itself with the other, slung around his neck, and she moved in a bit closer, forfeiting the space between them in order to rest her head against his chest. She could feel the heat radiating off of him, and it felt like the same warmness that was filling her stomach. The side of her head pressed against his chest, she could hear his heart beat, and steadily increasing, of course. It only made her smile more sincere as the pace of the song slowed, indicating the end was near. Still, Kira felt so comfortable within Go's embrace, that, quite frankly, she just didn't want the song to end. She wanted to stand there, dancing the dance of eternity. She had never felt so secure in her life, so safe... she really really didn't want it to end... |

Kaori had just quietly gone up to grab herself a cup of punch, before being caught off guard. And what was it? Well, from what little her mind could register about it, there seemed to have been a guy running and then ducking under the table which has a nice tablecloth, long enough to work for this purpose. her violet eyes widened in shock for a moment, before she regained her normal composure, and some curiousity. She must know what this guy was doing under the table. Well, it was obvious he was hiding..but still! She must know what he was hiding for, and from. It was burning into her mind. Quickly she checked around to see if anyone in particular was looking, and then she walked up and crouched down, for a moment. Then she slowly lifed the table cloth, enough for her to see. She blinked at the guy. "...hello? What are you hiding from?" |
