And now they wanted to strike the chaperon. One who wanted to try to stop this as soon and as quietly as possible. Sometimes this new generation of students really got his goat, or however the phrase is said. But Neo wasn't as burned as Kanji thought he'd be, especially with his hand covered by wind briefly. Neo even went as far as to make sure that the bystander there wouldn't be affected by the two wind tunnels that was enveloping the other two boys.

As he moved his hand away, Vincent decided to throw a punch at him. Well, he tried at least, mainly cause the hand seemed to go through him. And before Neo could ask Alexander if he was alright, those two started up once again. "Alright boys, knock it off. Don't make me have to... "And he didn't even get a chance to finish that sentence, thanks to the guy who stepped in and knocked the two of them out. Whatever that was that he used seemed to have worked at least, as the two of them were knocked out at that point.

Well, now they weren't going to be a pain anymore, now are they. And, Neo the chaperon was still standing near the both of them, evilish looking grin on his face. Grabbing them both by a leg, he dragged them out of the courtyard, but before he left, he stopped by Ryu for a moment. "I'll be right back..." Was all he said, before going into the administration area of the school with the two of them.

Meanwhile, Ally seemed to be a little taken back with all the goings on here at the moment. Kenji was used to it all now, seeing as he's been here for a year already. to be honest, this was rather tame in comparison to some of the things that he's seen. But, it wasn't something that he could force her to remain through. Her expression at the moment explained everything.

"Honestly? It's not as bad as it could be. From what I heard about last year's dance, the refreshment table actually lasted longer this time." Kenji couldn't even make up some of this stuff. Sometimes, going to this school requires you to check your sanity at the door. But she said that she wanted to go, so he did the only gentlemanly thing he could.

"I understand. If you'd like, I could walk you to your dorm room. Just make sure you get there safely?"

While this was going on, the sharply dressed Neo returned to the courtyard, by himself. Where were the others? Well, Principal Roh would hear a knock on his door, and if he opened it, he'd notice two of his students sitting back to back on the floor, one of them with the words "Dear Principal Roh," and the other had "We've been bad." on their foreheads in black marker. It was dry erase at least, he wasn't a heartless bastard after all.

He would keep the blades their neither it seemed had taken up his offer and it had become hard to breath as these two cyclones appeared around them. He had to break his concentration and focus on holding his breath so he can still try to end the fight. He would notice the man of fire changing he knew this was not good thing and took step back from him that opened up for a ravage man that attempted a knee strike. The strike hit but do to his training in hapkido he was able top reduce force of strike by flowing with power of it and rolling with it.

It still hurt a lot but damage might have been worst if he had put resistance against the blow. He would watch the man try attack another student he would try get aim on the student to fire a psychic crossbow bolt at him but it was already to late as another student with abnormal power simple made them pass out right their. He would stand up wince a bit and look to man that was speaking to him. He would notice another student talking to him and was starting to ask him a question and then he addressed two boys that where fighting again.

He would look to man who seemed to have some evil intention if that grin of his told talk. He would move to a place and seat down and rest while checking his wound it was not bad most likely just a bruise or a bruised rib or two. He would watch the dance again it seems that fun had unsettled a few students but overall fight did not deter students from having fun and trying to find love.

"Honestly? It's not as bad as it could be. From what I heard about last year's dance, the refreshment table actually lasted longer this time."

"Really?" She really couldn't believe that this wasn't bad. Just through the crowd she could see the two boys who had been about to fight being hauled off unconscious by someone else. Laughing, some of the tension leaking out of her she wasn't completely sure if she wanted to leave or stay; if this wasn't bad and things were under control then. "Wow, I'd hate to see what out of control looked like then."

"I understand. If you'd like, I could walk you to your dorm room. Just make sure you get there safely?"

"Well if I have to have an escort to my room - are you sure this is safe then?" Laughing at the whole crazy situation Ally decided that leaving was probably a good idea after all. Spying the shrinking girl again she couldn't decide if she was smaller or larger or varying between the two and quickly looked away. In time it would seem normal, but right now - even with Kenji's encouraging comments about it not being all that bad - it was still her first real experience with excessive violence using abilities she had been around. "You don't have to if you don't want to miss what might happen next."

Ryu was actually a little disappointed that the conflict between Vincent and his...rival or whoever he was had ended so quickly. Teaming up with Neo to bop silly teen boys who thought they were hot shit because they were starting to smell themselves? That would've made Ryu's night. Oh well. Ryu nodded as Neo dragged the two off, another student having approached Ryu and began speaking to him.

"I beileve that to be the fastest I've seen someone move. I presume you to be the one known as Ryu correct? Pleasure to meet someone of your level"

"Eh, I need to get faster," said Ryu somewhat distracted as he glanced at Neo who was dragging Vincent and Kanji away. Ryu made a mental note to start weighing himself down again as he did back when he was younger. "Anyways, nice to meet ya, kid. What's your name?"

---------

Go had been so focused on Kira, on how warm she was, how nice she smelt, that he hadn't really noticed the commotion going on with Vincent and Kanji. Kira sounded so content and relaxed as she sighed happily and spoke in almost a purr. Go himself wasn't as relaxed, but he was certainly less panicky and manic, having calmed himself considerably. He hadn't even noticed that they were beginning to float until he happened to glance up by chance. When he glanced up, he found himself looking over people's heads, the first thought popping into his head being "Was I always this tall?". Looking down at Kira, he smiled before glancing past her and down at the ground noticing that it was a bit further down than it usually was. And considering how much Go looked down at the ground or down at his feet, he was damn near an expert at how far down the ground was. So, he whispered to Kira, trying not to startle her.

"Err, are we f-floating?"

Success! She wasn't crying any more!

But now he had to try and avoid being murdered...

She didn't seem to be too enthused with the idea and immediately his libido chipped in with they should lay the charm on before being pummelled, even more than a certain admin in chat, by the rest of the bodily functions. It looks like he'd have to roll with this and try to convince her that he would be a charming, acceptable and attractive date... damn you low self esteem! For some reason he couldn't think of a single redeeming feature he had. Not one. Not even "Im substantially better endowed in the trouser department than the majority of people in town" which would have been his first line, had he been drunk. Or confident. He was currently neither. He had no chance of selling this properly...

Which would probably have ended very badly on it's own, but extra help came from the ethereal spirit that had been conjured to help him on the dance-floor as his grey misty visage flew into the poor boy's back. Carniku felt a strange sensation and wondered what it was, realising just in time to stop his mouth running off. But the spirit knew the words to use, he just had to hope working on such a freakin' hard-case would work. With some concern and trepidation, he opened his mouth and allowed the words to come out

"Because... Your face has inspired so much in my soul, even drenched in sugary fruit flavoured liquid it speaks of beauty. My childish actions of stealing a kiss, of kicking a table at you..." There was a moment of disbelief in Carniku's head as the ghost seemed to be checking this was what he had done. Was he an idiot? Maybe he should have kicked her in the head a few times too? Carniku admitted when they first met he may have. The ghost was unimpressed. Soldiering ahead, he continued "They were all so I could but hold your eye for a moment, I implore you, so I might make amends. Allow me to take you for dinner at the finest restaurants the city has to offer, I promise, I had no intention of upsetting you like this" Carniku chipped in he didn't have the money for the best place in Domino but was duly ignored by the ghost. Carniku mentally braced for the impact that was bound to come while the ghost stayed confident.

(Let's put this in perspective here, folks. Gojairu started to play a song by the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix grins...changing right into Ringo Star as easily as water ripples over the surface of a pond. Eddie didn't mind delegating. It's just that his powers sort of happened regardless of whether he wanted to or not. It took great effort NOT to transform, so why stop? Yeah, it was like that. He kept playing like a mad fool.)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

"Fine, Il'l dance... You're on your own, Hellsing."

(He put his arm around her suddenly. At first, Elisa found that a bit offensive. But after that, she actually smirked. And in fact, she started to lead. Not to say that she was a trained dancer in her large emporium of knowledge, but she managed. High coordination would keep her from stepping on his feet...unless he did something that would warrant it. What can we say? She liked things done HER way.)

Elisa: I'd call you a pushy date, but then again I think I already took THAT cake.

(Then, her smirk turned into an evil glare and a wry smile.)

Elisa: A fight would've been more my style, though I don't carry a sword anymore.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(The Beatles. He liked The Beatles. He preferred "A Hard Day's Night", but whatever. It was in the same album as this one. There is one thing to be said, though. Darrel was as likeable right now and on good behavior because of the info-gathering. Normally, he was a guy lacking fully in patience and was generally a bit intense about things. Of course, Diana wasn't trying his patience. She was an alright girl. A shame she was spoken for. He'd never manage in a fight against Neo if he was powerful enough to chaperone this event. In any case, Diana did help him out in learning the natural ways of AHS and its assorted nutjobs. No offense, AHS, but Darrel finds you guys a bit wired. The catgirl with the army helmet, shouting about the launched zombie sort of clinched it. Diana was right about the acting out, but...well, come on. HE wasn't, and he was still a teen, dammit!)

"Maybe this is just one of the differences between St. Lily’s and AHS?"

Darrel: It'll have to be. This definitely isn't like any old dance party, since it's not boring, but...I could do with less chainsaws and punch-bowl zombies. Which makes me wonder... You got any siblings in this school? In this dance even? And before you ask me, it's a solid "No" on both counts.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(Okay, the debacle with the zombie aside, Som decided to throw the helmet away and discreetly pretend she wasn't responsible for this being the Dance of the Living Dead. That being done and some cheese-things consumed, Som began to wander the party for a bit of a while, just looking around, when she stopped and saw... Well, he didn't exactly remember his name - even though it was Alexander - but Som definitely recalled the face as she walked up to him.)

Som: Oh, hey. You were at Kazuma's room. Ah, what was it again? Yeah, I kinda' forgot if you told us your name...

What the hell was up with Carniku? Seriously. Yoko stared at him for a moment. Her eyes stuck in the look of 'what the fuck you on', the kind you get with one big eye and one small one? Yeah. He was all gibbering and whining. The worst part is, this was a serious thing for her, something that was really screwing up Yoko and pissing her off. And all he did? He made jokes! He was pretending to be someone else and that this entire thing was some mad flirtation scheme. Why would he think she'd go along with that?

No. The angry, sticky trouble maker balled up her hand into a fist. The blow was quick, and with throwing that punch she returned to normal size. The clicking becoming really damn annoying at this point. She threw a fist right where his ribcage seemed to part, the hand going upward to strike, like in so many toku series. "You think this is funny! WELL HA HA FUCKING HA!"

The girl turned around, huffing, she was now just blatantly angry. Storming off away from this little event. "Goddamn boy."

He was sitting their topless wrapping a ripped table cloth around his ribs tightly that battle was painful but if he would have resisted he was sure he would had a lot of broken ribs from that one strike. He would finish it up and give tug make sure it was as tight as it can be just in case it was a broken rib. He was sure it was not but he was careful he hated ignore an injury that would hinder his goals. He would start to put on his shirt just in time as girl he might on the second floor of dorms had shown up again. He would smile as she awkwardly tried remembering if gave his name but he faintly remembers not giving to them at that time.

He would look to her for an outsider she was good looking “my names if Alexander so what is yours” he would stand wincing a bit as it was painful but nothing that a few does rest wont heal. He would smile a bit “umm you have something on check” to him it looked like a piece of cheese and takes it off of her cheek and looks to her every so often wincing his ribs where sore that blow had a lot force behind it and luckily he knew how reduce damage to minimum or it would have been a lot worst. He would differently have ribs checked when he got a chance cause sure they where badly bruised or worst he had a rib that was broken or fractured.

Corey laughed lightly at Frank’s comment and did a little twirl on the spot. “You like it? You’re looking rather dashing yourself, I must say.” She teased. As the two headed away from the crowd, she found it a little hard to hold any sympathy for a poor, confused looking Oliver. She was too lost in her own little world to notice anything other than how much fun she was beginning to have. The whole way on their stroll Frank kept Corey highly entertained with his digs at the sickly sweet atmosphere. She was finding it amazing how much he was making her laugh… perhaps it was because she was already nervous and giggly anyway, but whatever it was everything he said seemed 10 times funnier than it should have been. Despite the silly lights and the overly flamboyant decorations, she was more than happy running with him through the ‘love maze’.

She laughed, blushing slightly at imagining dancing with him. That was going to be an experience… “Hmm, yea that would be a good one to dance to. I’m happy to dance with you to anything, really.” She added a bit shyly. She couldn’t help laughing at him when he flicked his tie off his shoulder, as the knot at the top was really crooked, and such a small detail seemed to totally ruin his sleek handsome look. She took a step in and fixed it for him, trying not to touch him too much for fear that he might think she was getting all motherly on him… But still she took her time running her fingers down the skinny tie, straightening out every bump. They started walking again, this time in silence, both caught up in their thoughts. Though it was the sort of silence that wasn’t at all awkward. In a way it felt so right, just walking in peace together. But when they reached a secluded spot far away from the music and noise and Frank turned to face her she got a little suspicious of what he was thinking about while they had been walking…

Corey knew what he was trying to say as soon as the awkward words started coming out of his mouth. She tried hard to suppress a giggle at how sweet it was watching him try so hard, and so she bit her lip and watched with a grin as he almost threw the words at her. She hadn’t realized that this was where the night was headed at all, and although she felt prepared now that she knew what was coming her breath still shortened and her heart still skipped a beat as his gorgeous eyes met her deep blue-green ones. She melted on the spot when he admitted how much he liked her, and was about to reply when he reached for her box (which she’d almost forgotten she had). He opened it and NOTHING in the world could have prepared her for what was inside. She gasped audibly, brought her hands up to her cheeks and just stood there frozen for what seemed like an eternity or two. It was the ultimate perfect, beyond perfect, gift. It was love at first sight with that necklace, and she knew at that moment that she would never be able to take it off. She assumed of course that Noah would have offered a hand in the perfect carving of the musical note, but to think that he came up with such a perfect idea by himself made her want to cry and start jumping up and down at the same time.

She was so tempted to tease him by pretending like she didn’t like the present and then do something silly and cute like throw her arms around him… but truth be told she was having a hard enough time forcing back a huge lump in her throat and a stream of tears. How could anyone be so perfect? More importantly, how on earth could she put that into words? It took her a while to gather her thoughts… She’d avoided moments like this her whole life. She had always had to move away from anyone she wanted to get close to and so there was no point throwing her heart into anything… and so now, her instinct was to bail and get the hell out before it was too late. But she also knew that this was different, here she wasn’t pushed for time. She had all the time in the world to be with Frank, if that’s what she wanted.

All of this thinking happened in just a few very drawn out seconds. She still stood numb as he clasped the chain around her neck. She slowly smiled and brought her fingers up to trace the charm, and coming to a conclusion in her mind she suddenly threw her arms around Frank’s neck, almost knocking him off his feet and buried her face in his neck. “…Thank you so much” she managed to force out in a whisper. With her arms still around his neck she pulled back to look into his eyes. “Frank, I really love it. Thank you” She bit her lip, thinking about what was an appropriate to express her thanks and settled for a gentle but lingering kiss on the cheek before snuggling herself into his arms, one hand fiddling with the charm. “And just for the record, I really like you to. And I hope you realize that I’ll be keeping your ‘permanent valentine’ for a very long while. You would be a hard one to forget. So I’m not panning on trying.” She added, squeezing him tighter with a big grin on her face.

>>"Err, are we f-floating?"<<

"Mm hm," Kira seemed unable to rid the smile from her features as she spoke with a nod. Her eyes were closed, feeling as though she could sleep right then and there. Yes... she was floating alright. Metaphorically speaking, of course, in her mind. She was on cloud nine, and quite frankly, she was just too content, too happy to really care to understand the mixture of emotions that swelled up inside of her. Hell, she didn't even really understand the meaning of what Go was asking, and simply replied without thinking. As she took another breath she slowly started to tilt her head upward. It seemed as though no one else was around; as though it were just Go and she. Those pale violet hues reflected the conflicting emotions that coursed with unfamiliarity throughout Kira's mind and heart, though those soft lips were still unable to do anything but smile. It didn't matter if she understood those emotions or not, what she knew was she enjoyed being with Go and the emotions he made her feel.

Kira leaned forward a bit more, her arms tugging a bit on his neck, as if to pull herself closer. Her hair was starting to literally float around her, swirling around by the minimal winds that surpassed them the higher they raised. Still oblivious to the activation of her powers, Kira attempted to move in closer in order to bring her face closer to his. A lump had formed in her throat, and quite frankly, she didn't know what she was doing. Like the initial activation of her powers, her body was moving on instincts rather than listening to her brain, and quite frankly, Kira was more than happy to take a back seat. Her stomach knotted together and anxiety filled her senses. Again, she swallowed and let out a warm breath as those lips opened up partially, pausing momentarily a few inches from Go's own lips. Her eyes continued to stare, continued to wander within the life that filled Go's own hues. Slowly, after that single moment of hesitation, she knew she had to go for it. He was far too shy, and quite frankly, if she didn't go for it now, he probably would stop her. Thus, she started to move onto the tips of her toes in order to get that extra... extra...

And that was when she realized it. Reality; it truly sucked. Like a slap in the face, it hit her. She paused, and her expression changed. Those hues blinked rapidly as her feet attempted to gather some sort of footing on the floor, only to just then realize that the floor was no longer there.

"Eh?"

Those eyes blinked from Go's instantly downward and realized what had happened; or rather, at the very least, the situation she was in now. That mouth gaped open at the distance that had grown between their feet and the dance floor of the courtyard. They weren't horribly high up, but enough for Kira to latch tightly onto Go. She expected to fall, expected to make a fool of herself. Her eyes closed and her arms wrapped tightly around Go's waist, having loosened from his neck only to find themselves back around his body. She pressed herself to him tightly, fearing the fall... though, it didn't come. Still, they floated, despite Kira's sudden realization. Subconscious control, in past circumstances, had forced her to realize her sudden activation in power, thus, canceling the sense of control... which normally ended in Kira falling a great distance. Now, however, it didn't seem as though she were going to fall. Though she realized this through the small amount of time she remained almost glued to Go's body, her cheeks were now burning red. She had attempted to kiss Go, and almost succeeded. She pulled back though when she realized she had been floating. Now, though... she couldn't even bring herself to look at him...

As the drama continued, not many people noticed the few faces that were coming around. One of which belonged to a young man who would be understated if he wasn't called handsome. Valjean - for the moment taking the name of Akira Ishigawa - strode in. His brown hair bobbed up and down as he looked around with almost pure gold eyes. This young man was dressed immaculately, albeit simply. The black coat that covered most of his body was simply made, the sole decoration being the obviously there to simply protect the white shirt and black pants that peeked out from under the matte surface. It was simplicity to the point of beauty, since Valjean managed to pull it off, somehow.

Akira was his name today, so we might as well call him that. Why he was here was simply because he wanted to mess with people, maybe a lonely girl or better still a couple. His hands flexed as he imagined what kinds of havoc he could wreak. It was fun to do, so it wasn't like he cared what the other people would think about him. If anything, the worse they thought the better it was from him - it wasn't like he could be caught anyway, if he used his powers to their fullest extent.

Stepping into the 'fray' so to speak, he could see that there was some sort of confusion going on with several couples, not to mention some new ones. "Wow." He felt himself sadly unneeded... for the moment, anyway...and hopefully only then - maybe later he'd find some reason to join in on the fun sooner or... now. Looking at Yoko walk away, Valjean had half a mind to go after her but stopped himself. Trying to pick up a superpowered girl after she had a spat with someone wasn't going to make his life any longer... rather, it would exponentially shorten his lifespan.

Surprisingly, to herself, Athaleyah laughed at his explanation of things. Perhaps he didn’t mean for it to seem funny, but the wording was humorous to her. It wasn’t that she was trying to laugh at Vincent or hurt him; it was that he had made it easy. What would you expect when seemingly acting as though you own a living being? A new song had begun and Athaleyah slowly removed her hands from him.

“Thank you for the dance.”

As far as she knew, that was the end of that. She’d never been to a dance before so she bowed, as if it were normal, and began to walk away.

Kysse didn’t have any intentions of saying no to anyone. She nodded and allowed him to take her hand, to lead her to the dance floor. Before they were off and dancing she noticed her roommate enter the room. For a moment she knew what had taken Rizel so long to arrive.

With Kysse’s permission, Rizel was wearing a dress from her closet. Rizels curls were pushed up, yet cascading at the same time. She looked even more like a doll than ever. With her bodies changes she was more like a Barbie with plastic surgery, but a doll none the less. Red straps lead to the corset like top, there were vertical lines on the bodice and it hugged her body, and it ended in black lace where it had started in red. A pair of slinky strapped heels covered her feet and she walked calmly into the dance, taking glances from the area.

She looked confident but there were butterflies in her stomach. What was she doing at the dance? Especially in this form.

Finally Kira realized that they were hovering above the ground and upon that realization she started clinging to Go tightly. She seemed scared to death and so embarrassed that she had let this happen. It wasn't that bad, especially since no one seemed to notice the couple floating above the ground, but Go would be quite happy if they could get back down on the ground.

"It's ok, Kira-san," said Go trying to console Kira. He thought back to the many tutoring sessions he spent with Ryu, trying to think what his sensei would say in this situation. "J-Just relax and uhh, focus. You can do it!"

Her face buried in Go's chest, she heard him speak something, but the words didn't quite reach her at first. It wasn't so much the subconscious activation of her powers that embarrassed her, it was what she was so close to doing. Now that realization had hit her, all those confused emotions were building up inside, and quite frankly, she just didn't know what else to do.

>>"J-Just relax and uhh, focus. You can do it!"<<

Those words seemed to reach her, and slowly, Kira felt her racing heart slow down. If only for a minute, she was finally able to breathe, and the grip on Go lessened ever so slightly. Slowly, the pair levitated back toward the courtyard, and though she was glad no one else had seemed to notice, more likely lost in their own little world, Kira herself felt utterly stupid. Her eyes were anywhere but upon Go's own, and now it seemed the roles were reversed. Confidence had now faded her expression completely, and it seemed her own shoes were now more important than anything else in the world. Like in most situations, Kira pushed herself back. Her arms loosened until they finally fell to her side, and her bangs shadowed over half her face, making her expression difficult to read.

"I... um..." her voice was barely above a whisper, her head tilted to the right, then to the left as she took two nervous steps back. She muttered a few more incoherent words, even less in volume than the previous before she finally did turn. What hurt her the most is that she knew Go wouldn't understand her emotional distraught behavior, and what she wanted the most, she knew she would not receive. Instead, the girl did what she did best, and distanced herself from the situation entirely. That knot in her stomach now raised into her chest as a sharp and dull pain knotted around where her heart laid. Her right hand quickly moved up to block the emotion that expressed upon her features, pushing her way through the crowd of dancers, her destination completely unknown, even to herself...

Go blinked, quite confused as Kira ran off. More than that however, Go was frustrated. He thought the night was going rather well, outside of the floating incident, and even that wasn't a big deal to Go. He was happier then, dancing with Kira, just having her close like that, than he had been for a long time. Go's frustration however didn't stem from anything Kira did, it was with himself. He was sure that he had fucked up in some way, though he wasn't sure how. He thought back to a few moments ago, recalling what had just happened and he couldn't figure it out. Either way, Go didn't know what he had done wrong, but he was determined to make things right. Pushing through the crowd, Go followed Kira, trying to catch up with her. Eventually Go was able reach her, his arm stretched out as far as it would go, finally grabbing hold of her hand.

"W-Wait a second, K-Kira-san," gasped Go, partially from nerves and partially from trying to catch his breath after pushing through the crowd, his face red for much of the same reason. "D-Did I do something wrong?"

It took Go a few moments to catch his breath and to calm himself down. Kira running off like that and his chase after her had upset Go, so he needed a little time to regain his composure. Once he had, he continued to speak.

"I-I know I'm not very good when it comes to girls," said Go quietly, looking down at his feet. However, slowly but surely, his started looking up until finally he made eye contact. The look of nervousness usually present on Go's face was gone, replaced with a rare look of determination. He paused for just an instant as he chose his next words carefully. When he spoke however, it was without his usual stutter. "They make me really nervous and I start sweating a lot and feel real uncomfortable, but when I'm with you I don't feel like that. When I'm with you I...I feel really happy! You're special to me, so if I upset you Kira-san, then I apologize! I just... I just don't want to see sad like this again, like you were back in the gym... I just want to make you happy!"

Frustration and embarrassment appeared on Go's face once he was done, looking down at his feet, still gently holding onto Kira's hand.

"I'm sorry, K-Kira-san. I must sound crazy..."

'Stupid... stupid, stupid, stupid!'

The words continued to echo through her mind. Her actions up to this point... it was as though she had no control over them. It was as though she were watching herself from afar as someone else took over, and did the complete opposite of what she truly wanted to do. Why did she run away? Why does she always feel the need to distance herself? Why can't she just be herself?

'Idiot...'

Kira came to a slow stop eventually near the end of the crowd, mostly in an attempt to regain her composure. She wiped her eyes with her hands, though the tears still seemed to want to flow. Why... why was she becoming so emotional? Why couldn't she stop crying? What the hell was she crying about?! Determined to not be seen, she pushed passed a few more dancers and nearly made it to an opening... when she felt a grip upon her wrist.

>>"W-Wait a second, K-Kira-san."<<

He was fast. Sure, Kira had stopped momentarily, but she had some confidence in her own speed... still, she just wished this day would end... that knot in her chest formed and became difficult to breathe.

>>"D-Did I do something wrong?"<<

"No.. I..." Kira found herself at a loss for words. In addition to the confused emotions that wouldn't stop bottling up within herself, guilt was now added onto her shoulders. Go retracted his vision back toward the floor as a wave of various emotions plagued Kira's expression.

'Idiot... stupid stupid idiot... just say it... say something!'

>>"I-I know I'm not very good when it comes to girls... They make me really nervous and I start sweating a lot and feel real uncomfortable, but when I'm with you I don't feel like that. When I'm with you I...I feel really happy! You're special to me, so if I upset you Kira-san, then I apologize! I just... I just don't want to see sad like this again, like you were back in the gym... I just want to make you happy!"<<

'Say something! Do something!'

The crimson haired girl felt the tightness around her chest increase. For a moment, she felt as though it were going to explode. She couldn't take it... she couldn't take it anymore.

>>"I'm sorry, K-Kira-san. I must sound crazy..."<<

Again, it seemed Kira felt instincts take over more than anything else. Before the man could say anything further, her free hand reached up to cup the side of Go's face. Briskly, she tilted his head upward as she hastily closed in the space between them. Once again, her body was pressed against his and her hand reached behind his neck. Standing on the tips of her toes, she pulled his head down and greeted his lips with her own. Her eyes closed as the tightness around her chest did, in fact, explode, but not in the way she had ever imagined it would.

She wasn't certain if what she was doing was right; hell, right now she just didn't care anymore. It was something she wanted... something she felt she needed. So many emotions she had kept locked away, mostly in fear. She had felt so alone ever since coming to this school, and she had done her best to mask that very feeling. Sure, she had met great people and made so many friends... but still, she felt alone. She had lived with her parents, or at least, her mother for all her life up to this point. Without that, she felt a hole within herself... perhaps it had always been there, but the separation simply increased that feeling. Go... she felt that hole was nonexistent when she was with him. He made her happy... he made her matter. She barely knew him, but still, she couldn't deny what she felt. No... not any longer.

The embrace of their lips felt like a festival of fireworks within the pit of her stomach. Her head tilted a bit to the side as the arm that Go once held shifted and straightened. Her fingers interlocked with his and the hand around the back of his neck shifted through the locks of his hair. She didn't know what she was doing... only that it felt good... it felt right... it felt natural. The tears nearly stopped by this point, though when her eyes finally did open... when their lips finally departed, that shine that was always upon her eyes... slightly shadowed by self doubt and a hidden lack of self-confidence... shined more brightly than it had in quite some time. Her cheeks were red and that smile that could brighten any room expelled further than ever before.

For a moment, she just stood there, staring with what she felt was a goofy grin that she just couldn't get rid of. She held onto Go's hand while her other arm retracted from his hair and slowly made its way down to his other hand. She felt as though she were lost within his eyes... staring with the feeling of happy stupidity. Still... she was happy nonetheless.

"You're not crazy... I'm the one who should be sorry, Go," she finally broke the silence; the music around them seemingly gone along with the crowd ever since she took those first two steps toward him. "I'm just... stupid, sometimes. I have a tendency to push people away... when I feel like I'm getting too close... but..."

From there, her voice sort of trailed. She wasn't certain exactly how Go would react to what she felt was a selfish move. So, there she stood, her emotions on her sleeve, her feet shifting every now and then nervously with what she felt was a dumb smile on her features... waiting...

"No no... thank you." See, he was a man of his word. Yusei didn't force her to do much of anything after that. He just let her off as he turned around. These AHS students were just as reckless and unpredictable as he had heard. He didn't do anything wrong at all, and instantly someone tried to create an incident between his school and theirs. Needless to say, he most likely won't be here unless he has to be.

Heading back to where he was waiting previously, away from all the insanity with the shrinking and floating people, he noticed someone off near a couple of other young ladies. Though, this one was quite familiar to him. That was Natsumi, the girl he helped up during the last mission. So she was here after all? He's got enough info at the moment, so he figured that a little talk between the two couldn't hurt. "Hey, Natsumi-san?"

To say that Neo wasn't surprised with the current situation is a drastic understatement. Wasn't that Ryu's little pupil Go? And with a girl no less? And floating in the middle of the courtyard to boot? The amount of other questions that came to mind at that moment were staggering. To think the little boy that was asking what a boxing match was like is now... uh... "standing" cheek to cheek with a rather fetching young lass.

Oh, he was unquestionably concerned for their well being, so he walked over to where Ryu was and tapped him on the shoulder. As soon as he turned around, he'd see Neo just pointing up in the air. "Uh, I do have a date to get back to, so I think this one is yours to take care of... you did know that Go's with a girl.. up there, I hope?"

Kenji just nodded in response to Ally's little inquiry. He's seen quite a bit of crazyness at work to know what he was expecting before he even came there tonight. But he didn't mind leaving now anyway, he didn't plan on staying for a long time anyway. "Yeah, I'm sure. Besides, I need sleep for the long shift I've got before me tomorrow."

There was one thing he wanted to mention, as he held his arm out to escort Ally away. One that he didn't want to say loudly. "You know, I received a request of transfer to St. Lily's before they opened. I think I made the right choice in staying. Sure it's been slightly rough, but I think I made the right choice."

Ally accepted the arm Kenji proffered to her; what girl wouldn't accept the arm of an attractive young man offering to escort her? There was more than enough activity going on here that she doubted her presence would be missed at all. In truth, it was just fine with her to leave. She was still yet not that aquainted with so many of the people that she did feel a little lost in the crowd.

"You know, I received a request of transfer to St. Lily's before they opened. I think I made the right choice in staying. Sure it's been slightly rough, but I think I made the right choice."

Looking over into Kenji's eyes, she smiled a sweet, unassuming smile. "Well I'm glad you're here; if you'd gone I probably wouldn't have met you tonight in all this fuss," she said with a wide gesture to take in the dancing, fighting and milling student body. Already the din of music, talking, and yes - the fighting - was fading as they walked towards the dorm.

"I'm all the way up on the 5th floor," she said with a chuckle, "hope you don't mind?"

She was still in the small, single room she'd moved into her first day here. The idea had been for her to find a roomate and move eventually, it just hadn't happened yet. She hadn't met anyone who she felt she could live with or needed a roomate, so it was still just her, her few small possessions and her old guitar.

“I did and no. My sister, Alex, graduated last year and my youngest sister is at a boarding school in England but I do have a cousin in the school. Nevaeh’s not here though, she’s probably off in her room doing god only knows what.”

Yeah Nevaeh was an odd one sometimes but that didn’t make Diana like her any less. Which reminded her that they had a girl’s day in coming up and she was supposed to help Nev move in to her old dorm room. That was sure to be fun. Speaking of fun it was quite possibly a very good thing she didn’t see Neo or the way he seemed to be enjoying himself by punishing those two students. Nostalgia was great and all but the borderline sinister grin of his would have been enough to creep even her out. Nope, she was too busy paying attention to Darrel since it was the polite thing to do and he was being conveniently entertaining to boot.

“So where are you from originally?”

- - - - -

Kimi was enjoying herself well enough on the grass but the growing silence was enough to make her feel uneasy. She had begun to play connect the dots with the stars only to find that she kept seeing her mother’s face. Not good, so not good. Blinking rapidly she sat up from the cold ground and propped up on her knees. With a quick shift of her eyes she looked down at Zen. “So how did you end up here?”

Yes, they were in dire need of conversation. Anything to keep her from thinking about -that- person.

The ghost was used to this working, to the girl falling into his arms and him whispering sweet nothings in her ear. This is probably why, despite his efforts, Carniku couldn't brace in time for the blow and simply buckled under the pressure. Well trained abdominal muscles lessened the pain but he noticed a misty grey figure in an appalling jacket fall from him, looking decidedly unconscious as he passed on happily to the after-life, although slightly perturbed at the dismissal with the opportunity of a return should the need arise for MORE sexual tension and insane circumstances.

Yoko stormed away as Carniku very slowly keeled forward onto his knees, clutching his chest and trying to regain his breath from that devestating move. When he finally felt like he could talk again he announced to the open air
"At least... it stopped her... crying" he felt a worrying light headedness and decided that he absolutely could not fall unconscious! To make sure he didn't he was just going to take a little nap... he didn't realise until most of his brain had shut down that he was, in fact falling unconsciousness. Goddamnit...

Sting beamed- almost literally, now that the lights in the dorms were fluctuating rapidly in time with his beating heart- as Alyss kissed him on the cheek. If he had any doubts that she really did love him, they were instantly evaporated: Even such a small gesture was something huge from Alyss. "Alyss, I know I say this to you every day, and one time at night (which had, incidentally, earned him a shoe in the face), but you are the most awesome person I have ever known." Said Sting, returning the kiss with even more passion.

Which is why, Sting thought to himself as they strolled together out into the night, he had something a little different planned for the night. Sting had turned down the Osprey suggestion, instead proposing that they walk the way to the dance, under the moon and the stars, which was about fifty times more romantic. After a short period of blissful silence, Sting stopped short, and turned to Alyss. The faint moonlight illuminated a more demure grin than usual, and his eyes were practically sparkling (again, not impossible with Sting. His bond with machinery was becoming more initimate as of late).

Getting down one one knee on the slick grass, Sting gently plucked a tiny velvet box from his pocket. Delicately, almost reverently, he held it up with one hand and opened it slowly with the other.

"Alyss," he said softly, "Will you make me the happiest man in the world?"

Inside the box was.... Something a little more.... Adult than what Alyss might have forseen. And pink. And made of rubber. Yeeeeeaaaaah.

While Connie was cool and calm, held delicately in Leon's big arms, Leon himself was nervous as a convict in the electric chair. There was the same feeling of impending doom: Not knowing when something would go wrong, but knowing full well that it soon would. Leon was trying his hardest not to show that his stomach felt like it was hosting the national butterfly convention. He still had that same, easy going, sleepy smile, although his eyes looked almost blurred from glancing between his feet, his hands, and Connie's.... face.

As luck would have it, it seemed Connie was actually enjoying Leon's mediocre dancing skills. And the promise to teach him moves later? That was practically a date right there! But alas, Leon realized, he could not simply stay silent for the rest of the dance, and let Connie do all the talking. Even if it felt like he'd hurl if he opened his mouth, he had to say something. ?To keep the moment going, you know? So, with no other plan, Leon said the first compliment that came to mind.

"Aha, thank you. And I really like your, uh, handlebars?"

A chill went up Leon's spine, as if he had just walked over his own grave.

kaneda led Kysse to the floor and gently pulled her close to him and put the hand not holding hers on her waist, then started dancing with her. He didn't hold her too close out of respect for her (that, and he didn't know her from Quueen Margaret), but he wanted to. They danced in silence for a minute, and then, just when Kaneda was about to say something (hopefully funny) Something bad happend, as it always does.

Someone came and put his hand on Kaneda's shoulder. 'Hey, look, it's the gai jin from my history class!' The kid, whom Kaneda hadn't bothered to learn his name, as about the same height and build as Kaneda, with short black hair and a creepy grin, which he now showed when he saw Kysse. 'wow, Gai gin, that's a fine lady you're dancing with--'

'Exactly, I'm dancing with her, and if you don't wanna dance with me, you best scram right now.' Kaneda said a icily. The kid smiled that creepy grin of his again. 'Hey c'mon Gai gin, share the wealth! I'm gonna count to three--'

'No, I'M gonna count to three,' Kaneda said, letting go of Kysse and flinging the kid's hand off of his shoulder with his arm. 'I don't take kindly to jerks wo disrespect women, and I REALLY don't like being called gai gin.'

Ehehehe...sorta..blown off huh? Natsumi inched away from piper nervously. So...some of the AHS students even critisised they're own school...interesting developm-"Hey, Natsumi-san?" Oh my god Yusei was right in front of her! She gulped audibly, blushing like mad. "O-oh! Yusei-kun!..I didn't see you." She said chucking nervously, "Y-you've been enjoying it here? Seemed like you were having a nice time dancing! I mean unless that was...mission oriented! I-i mean well..its none of my business.." She blathered, curse her boy problems!

Carniku would feel his shoulder being shaken lightly by Yasuo, who crouched next to him. "I dont think this is a good place to sleep...or...is it? May I join you if it is?" He asked curiously.

"Date? Dont be silly, I'm only dancing with you to avoid having anything to do with that idiot." Masashi said grinning back at Elisa "I only like fights if its needed...I'm past my 'pointless juvenile brawl' faze."

Issac, meanwhile, was worrying about how Jade was reacting. She was obviously worried about something in Tulip - maybe it was straight out the fact that she was Issac's old flame - and maybe this was simply a girl thing. Even with their connection, Issac could still never truly understand a girl's feelings. He breathed out, listening to her go on. Well, she was telling him to go, and so was his feeling about this. As she drew away from the kiss to his cheek, Issac fell into deeper thought. He still held onto her hands, but they were losing their color as his eyes darkened to grey. The world around him began to Her motives weren't really clear, but Issac could see that it was probably because...

Because... was it because she wanted to test him?

He continued to be hesitant, unsure if Jade was really wanting him to go and be with Tulip. Wait... he could be sure. His hand quietly touched hers, sparking and igniting the connection that had brought him so close to so many people... and felt that she did want him to go. A desire for him to be happy, since Tulip could give him something that she couldn't. What was it? He shook his head quietly, a small smile creeping into his face.

"I'll go." Issac breathed, and shrugged. "Thanks. For being able to let me go." He hugged her briefly, before walking away.

- - - - -

Alyss looked up at the beaming lights. There were times where she liked the fact that he was this much among the abnormal. She was even still smiling (mostly) as he lead her out to the walkway just short of the courtyard, and to be honest her Osprey suggestion was simply because it was the vehicle that she had spent the most time in in the most recent times. Looking around, Alyss smiled as they stopped under a streetlight. She was slightly confused, but sort of expected Sting to do something like this.

And then he took a knee.

"What the..." Oh no. no no no no no... Alyss' face went a deep red. She wasn't ready... it wasn't that she didn't like Sting, it was just that she wasn't sure if she wanted to marry him yet or... wait... what was that thing? Her eyes fixed on the little velvet box, and then its contents. No shiny golden ring, just a little plastic... thing. Alyss sucked in a breath, and picked it up. She closed the lid, and held the velvet box in her hands.

"Sting. You know, you don't have to scare someone to do this sort of thing."

She bit down on the back of her palm, and took off her right glove. That dropped to the ground.

"And you need to get a sense of timing. Like when to ask this sort of thing..."

She pulled off her left hand glove, and held the box in her hand.

"Make sure you don't piss me off when you do."

Her bare hands folded around the box, and then tossed it up. It had gone high explosive, by the way, and was set to land on Sting's head if he wasn't careful. Alyss turned around, her hands in her ears to deal with the explosion.

- - - - -

It was hard to find her, and Issac was having trouble getting things into focus with his powers. Looking around, he blinked twice, and the world dissolved in his mind. Shadows began to appear, bright and lively in the world of darkness. They took on shape, changing from the gashes of light into people: Heads, arms, legs, clothes, hair... they all formed, but remained like cardboard cut-outs. Many were pretty happy with what was happening.

Issac began to wade through the crowd, picking his way through carefully as he searched for the right shadow. Looking around, he began to make his way through to the crowd as he found it.

She was lonely. But she had a friend, so Issac sat there, leaning on a chair as he tried to tune in on their vibes. That one was a cynic. Or at least that she didn't really like humanity. Issac waited, just looking around as he let the two have their conversation.

Don't look at me, I just came for the cookies.

As expected, at least in Tulip's mind, the girl that took a moment to notice Piper had quietly inched away during her rant. Tulip had given the best "I'm sorry" look that she could muster to the girl and at that moment noticed Issac just a few paces away.

"You know Piper, if you want to leave I don't mind - I know this isn't really your thing"

Quirking her eyebrow Piper side-glanced Tulip.

"Oh, you mean the girl that left? I guess I wasn't too welcoming was I?"

Piper shrugged.

"It is just as well. Are you staying around? I think I will just take your suggestion and go downtown to the bar so are you coming?"

Tulip politely shook her head.

"The bar isn't really my thing Piper, but thank you for the invitation"

Piper rolled her eyes and started to head toward the doors.

"Whatever"

Tulip stood there for a moment, watching as Piper walked away. A cold feeling came over her body that made her visibly shiver. Something had.. changed in Piper, and Tulip almost felt inclined to reassure everyone that ran into her brown haired friend that Piper wasn't like this.

There was something else however, - there was that feeling of being watched. Tulip turned slightly, her blond hair catching rays of twirling lights as the music changed. She knew who was watching her, and she was confused because he was alone.

Oh, there was so much stuff she wanted to ask him, to talk to him about, and part of her as much as she hated to admit it knew that such things usually worked better one on one.

"Issac.. "

She walked over to him, and she was almost nervous in doing so. It felt like.. it felt like there were other factors involved in this. Her blue eyes quickly looked over the room for his girlfriend, the girl who she felt might be.. uncomfortable, for lack of a better word with Tulip talking to him alone.

"Um.. I... "

In her head, this was easy - just walk up to Issac, ask him to go outside with her and talk. But wait a minute? What was she thinking anyway? This was unbelievably rude of her wasn't it? He was having such a nice time with his girlfriend and she had to come in and ruin it all. Surely she could wait to run into him on the school grounds, or maybe it wasn't her place to talk to him at all!

"Just wanted to say hi"

Tulip, you are a dum - dum.

After blurting out his feelings like he did, Go wasn't sure what to expect. He wouldn't have been surprised if Kira pulled away or started screaming for help or even started laughing at him. In fact, he was expecting it. So to say he was surprised when Kira reached up and kissed him would be an understatement. Go blanked out for a moment, out of shock, but when he regained his senses he could not deny that this feeling was glorious. However, almost as quickly as it had begun it was over. Go's face was completely red, his heart was beating so hard and fast that it felt like it was trying to break out of his chest. He was left breathless, finally inhaling after what felt like hours without breathing. He was left speechless. As Kira smiled at Go, her eyes full of light again, Go couldn't help but smile back.

"You're not crazy... I'm the one who should be sorry, Go. I'm just... stupid, sometimes. I have a tendency to push people away... when I feel like I'm getting too close... but..."

Go wasn't sure how to respond nor what to do, however he wasn't really thinking hard. He riding higher right now than ever before and was feeling a little light-headed, but it was a good feeling. Nonetheless, it was Go's turn to follow his instincts without thinking, gently pulling his hands free from Kira's grasp to wrap his arms around Kira, bending down slightly to kiss Kira.

Valjean drifted, both dance-like and whimsically, simply enjoying the air around this celebration. Looking up at the sky above, he breathed a soft, ecstatic sigh. It was beautiful. He continued to spin around, taking in the sights of couples dancing, kissing, playing and singles looking, hoping... Akira smiled to himself, and continued his walkabout. It had been so long since he had gotten this peaceful...

He was going to have fun shattering what was left afterward.

Oh yes, the malicious order that was Akira 'Valjean' Ishigawa was going to do his best to... well, mess with people.

Not watching where he was going, he crashed into someone. She had certainly dressed up, and as he went down Akira registered that it was the girl he escorted home one night, a miss Rizel Bigalow, wasn't it? Hitting the ground, his reflexes kicked in and Akira rolled backwards, quickly springing back to his feet - too quickly for a normal human, he realized - and was dusting himself off.

"Rizel!" He cried, voice tight with surprise. "I'm so sorry, I just... ah... yeah..." He bowed quickly before trying to help her. "Nice to see you again." He managed, before giving her a weak smile.

- - - - -

Issac waited there, a little worried at what Tulip's shadow was doing in his mind. Worry, although it was more about her other friend that herself... was that it? The empath wasn't sure himself. Most of the time, his powers were dependent on himself, on his own ability to concentrate - and a whole lot leaned on his self-confidence in his abilities. Something he used to have in spades, but right now... the world fuzzed, and the muted sounds, smell and feel of the party came back to him now.

Pinching his nose in frustration, Issac's amber eyes returned to their brown color. He looked at her, a nervous air about him as he picked himself up and looked out at the retreating Piper. Gathering his will together, Issac flexed the fingers in his left hand and tried to force his worry and doubt into that pulse of energy. Dark matter began to form around his fingers, a webwork of strands that coiled around his fingers... the density of their aura sent an unmistakable message: this thing was bad.

Issac snapped his fingers, and the web fell apart, dissipating as it fell to the ground. The empath let out a sigh, one of tension leaving the body. Looking up at Tulip, he began to test his left hand's ability to move.

"Sorry... I was nervous and..." He shrugged a shoulder, his face still looking at the ground as the tingle of electricity in his left hand began to fade. "That was the easiest way to get rid of it." He looked up at last, and he sighed. Confidence back, at least in his own ability to sense his surroundings in his world of things.

"I'm empathic, remember? I know a lot has happened in the last year, to both of us... and Jade told me to see you... you looked like you needed it."

To kiss someone was one thing... but soon, Kira found out that to be kissed was something entirely different. Again, those butterflies flew around the pit of her stomach as though on a rampage; giant Mothras, wreaking havoc until Godzilla showed up apparently. Her heart raced and her muscles tightened. Her eyes had widened at first, but slowly, they began to close. Her muscles also began to relax themselves as she simply allowed herself to be picked up by the moment. Like putty, she felt herself melding into Go's firm frame, leaning into the man's arms as she again reached up onto the balls of her feet in order to allow the man rest in bending his back, even if it may not have been by much; a simple act that stated yes, she did in fact enjoy the action he had initiated.

From there on, Kira's mind and thought process took a back seat. To express one's feelings took an awful lot of courage, but to hear someone's... or rather, to feel someone's feelings being expressed. Well, if it felt as good as it had when Go moved in to kiss her, well... she was just glad to have had the courage to make that first initial step. Valentine's Day... was it truly some sort of magical holiday that forced people to express their feelings in a way they normally would not via a shot from Cupid's arrow, or was it just another holiday to which the card-making industry forced people to purchase their products? Kira had always assumed the latter, but quite frankly... now she was leaning on the fence.

When they finally broke from their kiss, Kira's first and second, she did not mind the hue of red that appeared on both their cheeks. That smile she held was genuine, and held an emotion that Kira had never really felt before. She was uncertain of it, but quite frankly, since her mind was in the back seat during it all, she simply did not care. Instead, she leaned into his arms and let out a content, blissful sigh, just as the end of another song began to fade. She was truly content, standing there, feeling well protected in Go's arms. Now all she wanted to do was run around and shout to everyone about the story of her first kiss. Quite frankly, the experience in and of itself seemed cliche to more romance novels, or rather, in her opinion, a romantic comedy. She let out a soft, silent chuckle.

Slowly, it seemed the background noise that had been blocked out ever since Kira had first started to dance with Go began to sound off again, and suddenly, they weren't the only two in the room. She pulled apart from him, and moved her hand over toward his, insisting that she wanted to at least hold his hand.

"I'm... a little thirsty," Kira said, acting uncharacteristically shy so suddenly. Who could blame her? Sure, she was used to change; moving so often in her life, but experiences... like this? Normally, sure, she was one who was aloof in some ways, but she was always able to shrug them off by the time things returned to normalcy. Quite frankly, in her opinion, she wanted this feeling... that floating stomach sensation to become normalcy to her. It was then that she started to walk, almost with a skip in her step, toward the drink station where the large bowls of fruit punch laid, sprawled out with variously sized cups and mixtures. She started to lessen her pace, though, as her eyes caught some sort of dramatic situation in the distance through the crowd. "I wonder what's going on over there..."

She did have a point there. If Kenji left, he might not have kept his job at the store, earned enough for his guitar, or met the people that he's seen so far, Ally included as the latest of that small group. In fact, he could have sworn he saw Kira earlier, but she looked busy.

"Yeah, and I wouldn't have been able to share in the randomness that occurred tonight." He had to chuckle at that comment though, for all the strange things that's happened, it wasn't so bad all in all. He got to see Hendrix "live," he was able to get out and enjoy himself, and he's got a pretty cool girl by the arm. To be honest, this turned out better then other Valentine's days he's had to experience.

"Nope, don't mind at all. I'm just on 4th floor myself, so it's nothig more then an extra bit of walking for me."

"Huh?" Yusei's a bit taken back by this. Why the heck was Natsumi all flustered like that, all he did was say hi to the girl. Even worse, she was just rambling on and on, and he didn't even get a chance to say a thing. That is, until she mentioned the "M" word, to which he quickly moved a hand over her mouth to quiet her down a bit. Not to the point where she would feel hurt from it though, but she would definitely realize that he was touching her at that moment."

"Sssshh... don't say that out loud. You want to tick off Logan and the principal if they found out?" he whispered in her ear. Yusei was cautious to revealing that he was under orders to be in attendance here to anyone of the AHS students, cause he didn't want to know if something would happen, much less what it would be. Slowly, he moved his hand away, not wanting to alert any of the other students around them. "Yeah, it hasn't been so bad here, besides the guy who tried to suckerpunch me for no reason. How about you?" Well, it was the best coverup he could come up with on the spot.

I was walking with the ghost

Natsumi went absolutely red as Yuusei put a hand over her mouth, realizing she had said too much, and well...a boy was touching her. "Sorry..." She mumbled, looking down at her shoes. "U-uhm...Its been an okay night...tried talking to one of the students..." She said chuckling nervously, as it had not gone amazingly. "Yes I saw that student try to hit you...seems that sort of thing is common place here.." Natsumi said with distaste, she disliked fighting and avoided it whenever possible.

Gojairu finished with the Beatles song and as per request, began playing freebird. Wow....hendrix. She was standing next to hendrix...well, it was probably some sort of visual representation, but still!! Maybe she could get into boys for one night...HEY! it wasnt really Hendrix, girl! Get a grip!

(ooc-hi guys @_@ I'm back from being sick, so athousand apologizes for takin so to respond.)

"That was really awesome."She says softly as she trails up to his face. Her hair was starting to annoy her, the pins were poking her scalp she she tugs them out and her soft orange tendrils fall out in one motion, so that it was all framing her face. "Your in on my vote," She chuckles earnestly, the contrant buzzing beating slowing a little more.

Noah's brooding pools of eyes stared at his crimson friey hues, it was like they were opposites, hot and cold. and she kind of liked that. Viktor was a cool guy, and his musical abilities proved that further. She had enjoyed the bluesy short tune he had played her and admired his harmonica from afar. She wanted to touch it but was sort of afraid to ask, for no reason in particular. "I wish I had something on me, She thinks outloud as her eyebrows furrow together a bit. Though I suppose my voice counts as an instrument. She shrugs as she clears a throat. "Wanna give me a beat, cheif?"

Frank cleary wasn't expecting the reaction Corey had given him. He stood silent waiting for her to say something...anything! about the gift he had given her. His thoughts started to wain when she suddenly practiclly threw herself on him. xD and her skinny arms wove around his neck as she nuzzled into him. A small shocked gasp escapes his breath when this happens. Soo weird. He wasn't so used to being the big softie he's being right now, it was strange really. And yet...it felt so, felt so right. This girl right here was most definately a catch. And then he smiles as she leans into him.

The unexpected part was when she kissed him on the cheek. It was something he wasn't expecting so he was sure Corey felt his cheeks flush with warmth when she did it. "Heh I'm really glad you like it."[/b] He looks down at her, his honey hazeled eyes lingering over her golden moss ones. "And you know, I'm kind of glad im one thats not so hard to forget. My effort isn't wasted," He laughs lightly and their embrace lasts a little longer, though for him. it could have lasted forever. Man, this love stuff was sure powerfull. Ahh the gift of St. Valentine's day, what a treat!

"Hey, you wanna dance now? we can always meet up with Noah and Oliver later, Right now, and you and me babe," He grabs her hand and whisks her back towards the sound of the music

((OOC: Sorry - the cursor and blank screen have been mocking me this week.))

"Nope, don't mind at all. I'm just on 4th floor myself, so it's nothing more then an extra bit of walking for me."

Stifling a yawn with the back of her hand she gave him a sheepish smile, "Guess I'm more tired than I thought!"

Overall Ally was glad she'd gone. She'd danced with strangers, been exposed to some more of the student body, and got to feel a little bit like she belonged by spending a good portion of the evening with Kenji. Respecting him as a musician was just an added bonus to the mix.

"So you should find time in your busy schedule for us to play sometime," Ally could always get excited about music, that wasn't hard at all. She was sure there were loads of people here who could play - the demonstration of a Hendrix tribute was living proof. "Now that you know where I live - well for a little while; I think I might be moving in with a roommate to another room, but I'm sure even then I'll be easy to find!"

Don't look at me, I just came for the cookies.

Issac's web didn't seem to take much notice to Tulip, she just politely shook her head when he apologized.

"I'm empathic, remember? I know a lot has happened in the last year, to both of us... and Jade told me to see you... you looked like you needed it."

"Jade, the pretty dark haired girl you were with? I was worried she didn't like me. She looks really nice Itaru, but she doesn't seem.. she looks unsure of herself but perhaps, we all do..."

How strange, a year of not seeing each other and at that moment Tulip couldn't think of what to say.

"She is your girlfriend? What happened to the other girl? I'm sorry, I can't even remember her name... "

(Sorry its short Issac help me get my creative juices flowing! lol)

"That was really awesome.Your in on my vote,"

Viktor gave a small sly grin at the comment. "Thanks..." He shrugged "I'm glad you approve of me" the statement came out in a flirty playful way. Viktor took note of her heightened pulse something that until this moment had gone unnoticed.

"Wanna give me a beat, cheif?"

Viktor nodded at the comment going into a more jazzy upbeat number this time. His foot tapped out a small drum beat going along with the squeaking music falling out from the hand held instrument. He had relaxed more and the music showed it. Being more expertly weaved together than the previous song it was truly a unique piece of art.

In a way Corey felt totally sorry for Frank... Poor guy, he was in such shock. But he seemed to relax a little when she leant into him and squeezed him tighter, and so she decided to not let go. She was perfectly happy right here. She smiled sweetly at him, reaching a hand up to hold his face. "No, your efforst certainly aren't wasted. I love it." She reassured him, squeezing him once more before drawing her body away slowly. "Yea, lets hit the dance floor! I'm sure Noah and Oliver will understand..." She trailed off, wondering what oliver would think of the situation. He didn't seem like one who was in touch with his emotional side. Noah, on the other hand, had most probably caught a fine young man of her own to dance the night away with. They would have to swap stories later when they were back at their room...

She couldn't stop smiling as she was happily led by Frank back to the dance floor. She didn't recognise the song that seemed to be about half way through, but it didn't matter, it had a great beat and she was so happy that she had started to add a skip in her walk, dragging Frank into the middle of the floor. It wasn't a particularly upbeat song, but it suited the valentines day theme... Dancable, yet somehow romantic. She grinned up at Frank, starting to sway to the beat and slowly getting more and more into it. She snaked her hands up through her hair (which was losing its curl and going straight), and wrapped them around his neck, encouraging him to dance with her.
