Gokan hated being the new kid. It was something he'd gone through the majority of his life, and right when he hit a stride, he had to go through the entire fiasco all over again, and it was all because he should glow. True, he liked his meta-human powers, but he didn't like having to move to Japan, again, and enroll in some private school for meta-humans. Being the new kid in school another time had to be one of the worst things in the world. After getting over the awe of being in a new place, the crappy reality set in that he knew nothing of his surroundings. Even worse, he didn't know anybody. Both issues were something that could and would be addressed in due time. In the mean time however, the young man was left alone to wander the expansive school grounds. To most, that meant wandering around the insides. Gokan opted to shift around in the greenest part of the school that didn't have a thick of trees to get lost in. The amateur free runner soon found himself in the school's courtyard, giving curious glances to various cliques scattered about, doing whatever it is they did. On the surface, these kids were no different than those in America. You had your goths, punk rock kids, and so on. Yet at the same time, they were so alien. He was so alien. The young Bushino was a product of a variety of cultures, though he most associated with that of the west. Unlike making friends back in America, there was a cultural divide this time around. Back then, Gokan was just a kid with the funny name, but he was still the same type of people the others had always been around. His problem now was his inability to understand how he should approach people, and because of that, he simply wandered around the courtyard alone. For the time being, at least. |

Across the court yard walked another new face clad in the school uniform worn by the women. Clashing with the dominantly black cloth of the outfit was long white hair that seemed to be repulsed by the outfit as wind caught it, and blew it into white tendrils behind her. Sticking out of the skirt are a pair of long, strong, silky smooth legs that plunge into uniform's stock socks which are, in turn, in stock shoes. Those legs, oh so perfectly toned, looks like she's an athlete just by that delicious bit of exposed flesh. But all was not peachy for the blue eyed white haired beauty. She hated the skirt for one. She preferred pants. She wasn't sure why. Maybe she were a tom-boy, maybe she liked keeping her legs warm, maybe she was modest? Didn't matter. She wanted pants. A DECENT PAIR OF PANTS! 'Solomon Grundy want pants, too!' her mind shot out the one liner after the sentiment... Too much time watching American TV... Her lips couldn't help but turn into a lil' held back smile at the thought, though. It was always funny. Among her other problems was that this school had an unfamiliar layout, and to onlookers, she seemed to be enthralled in two pieces of paper. One was a map, one was a schedule complete with room numbers. Joy. She'll have to figure out optimal routes to each class, too. Peachy. Those bits of reality returned a cold, dull look to her pretty face, and glacier blue eyes as she walked along with the sounds of chatter, and the off and on noises of her heels, and the heels of other rapping on the walk way and on the grass filled her ears. Moving about, being the transfer student. Feh. That sucked, too, but at least here she didn't have to worry about her powers too much. She was in a school full of people like her. Still, it wasn't as if she wanted to use her powers. In fact she had to restrain them sometimes. A stray thought and, well, that can be troublesome. Will was a funny thing. There's levels of will. The conscious, and the sub conscious. And when one's powers were controlled by the part of the psyche named will, the subconscious can be dangerous. Well, whatever. Something will happen sooner or later. Yeah, that's her prediction. Takes her mind off things. Especially when as far as she knew it wasn't proper to have her laptop, or mp3 player on her person in a place like this which keeps her rather bored. All in all, this boils down to a pretty woman who walked across the courtyard as she looked at two pieces of paper, and looked thoroughly displeased on top of that, and she didn't appear to be in any rush, and she didn't appear to have a particular destination. |

An emo/goth skater teen was skateing down the path way when he had noticed there were other new students like him his blood red eyes fixed on the new girl as his black and red hair waved around when he sped down the walk way on his skateboard his intentions well he was not sure maybe he can change his ways and be a good kid for once. Wait a minute this is Kirova Kovu we are talking about the grade A pervert, bully, and class skipper what the hell was he thinking turning into a good kid HA! please like he could be a good kid..no he oculd be one of those good kids today,as he sped down the pathway he stopped next to the girl pulling out on of his headphones out of his ear he was listening to "Phenomenon by Thousand Foot Krutch" the rock song was the best song to him and he loved this song. "Well well what do we have here." He said as he examined the girl and her body that was the down fall to Kirova he could not help but cheack a girl out no matter what but then he stopped examineing the girl and put his hand out trying to be as good as he can it hurt him on the inside soon he was going to loose his reputation as the biggest perverted class skipping punk kid and turn out to be the polite kid. He could not believe what he was doing being polite and not touching her bottom he was seiously going crazy today what is next he was going to not bully some helpless kid,he thought about it but he kept his hand out as in his right arm his board was tucked into,he was smirking as his fingernails were dark blue instead of black today as he then smirked a little more. "The name is Kirova Kovu." |

It wasn't something she liked to do; no, not at all. She much rather preferred... hell, what would be something she preferred? There wasn't much she liked... hell, there was a bunch of shit she didn't like. One, of course, being dragged around by the redheaded brat while trying to appear as though she didn't have the sudden urge to rip her own hear from her chest out of pure boredom. She almost paused in her step; a little graphic for her mind; damn hormones. Shiro still wasn't used to living through puberty; of course, having a split personality that you despised didn't help such matters whatsoever. One moment she'd be pissed off, another moment she'd be all lovey dovey over something random, and the next... well, who the hell knew. She couldn't figure out the cycle yet, and she'd already be living through it for the past... well, her records stated three years, but that was a bunch of bull. Sexual frustration could do a lot to a matured teenage girl, and Shiro was no exception to that rule. After a rather ignored experience at the Valentines Day dance; an event that she was reluctant at first to join, but only succumbed after not being able to withstand Gemini and Kira's protests, she couldn't help but feel a vicious strike to her ego. Thus, the frown that heavily expelled upon her features as the sapphire-crimson haired teen remained since morning, especially after Kira had suggested they help to greet this semester's new students. 'I just wished there had been someone there to greet me on my first day,' had been the crimson haired girl's words. Brat. She could do whatever she wanted, why drag her ass around all day, playing tour guide to a bunch of other brats? It was because of that damn debt she still had to repay that she was even enrolled into this school, and quite frankly... well, that damn brat always had a knack for running into Murphy's Law on a day-to-day basis. "Look; that must be them," the ever-cheery crimson haired girl that seemed to be unable to grow any more than five feet exclaimed with a tone that felt like nails on a chalkboard to the personality disordered, far-too-over aged for her body, scarlet hued woman. "Yippy," Shiro let out a mocked twirl of her finger in the air as the short girl began to drag her with a strength that was far unknown to her; must be the excitement, or something. Damn kid was more trouble than anything. Quite frankly, hell wasn't looking too bad in comparison... Kira was in fact, quite happy when she found the new students seeming to be all gathered in one area. Though the groups hadn't really been planned out, and of course, her actions completely her own and not really suggested by the faculty, Kira had simply assumed that it would be alright. Always one to take initiative, the short redhead began to lug her roommate by the arm and waved over to the trio to announce her arrival. "Now, be nice, Shiro," Kira spared a moment before arriving as she turned to the split personality of Gemini. She received a 'tch' in reply, but understood that as a translation of 'whatever' which she was well more than accustomed to. Despite holding more liking to her softer side, Kira had a goal to soften the rougher edges of Gemini's more harsh personality. She knew that the girl only held the appearance of a psychotic lunatic who found everything that would normally excite a girl of their age absolutely appalling in order to protect herself. She had spent many nights talking with the girl's other half about it, so she knew Shiro probably more better than she knew herself. "You all must be the new students this semester," she said with a smile. Those grayish-violet hues held a brightness that could mirror the sun's rays in the darkest of hours and the smile she held amplified it accordingly. Like all the other attendees of Anime High School, Kira was dressed in the familiar school uniform, her hair let loose and hanging over parts of her shoulder while the rest measured to the middle of her back. Her head tilted to the side as she began to introduce herself and her friend. "My name is Kira, Kira Rounin. And this is my good friend, and roommate, Gemini Shiro." "Shiro," the girl quickly intervened. It was obvious to Kira that she hated to be called by the wrong name. "Just Shiro." "Right," Kira was hoping the others wouldn't be too intimidated by Shiro's cold nature and quickly moved on. "We're here to make sure that you all are adapting easily into life here, and to answer any questions you may have." |

As Gokan wandered about, he came across the path of a female student, wandering around as aimlessly as he was. He didn't get a good look at her face, but considering her pace, he assumed she carried an expression of frustration, moreso than he. That lead him to believe that she too was a new student at this ridiculously large school. Part of him wanted to approach a fellow new resident. Both of them probably had no idea about anything in regards to AHS, so teaming up would be beneficial to both of them. And there was a chance that she was hot, so that was always a plus. And if she wasn't, then a simple friendship would have to do. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his baggy uniform slacks, the teen began to trek over towards the female newbie, his mind running at light speed as he attempted to come up with a conversation opener. Tactics that applied in the States wouldn't work here, so his words would be chosen with less haste than normal. Gokan hated restricting himself like that, but he didn't want to up and offend everyone in sight on his first of many days in Japan. Making friends should come first, being a jackass could come later. As he moved over towards the unknown, another passerby came out of the woodwork, riding around on a skate board. The meta glanced the boy over once and sighed, shaking his head. "Damn, they got them here, too?" Gokan really didn't expect to see scene kids out in Japan. That just goes to show him just how few differences modern cultures have with each other. Looked like he'd have an easier time slipping in than he thought. By time he made his way over, two more girls had popped up as well, one looking far more cheerful than the other. The second looked as if she would rather be off doing....anything, really. They must be the unfortunate souls forced to drag new students around and get the acquainted with their surroundings. He'd done that task before in his life, and it was probably one of the more mundane thing's he'd been forced to do in his school career. "My name is Kira, Kira Rounin. And this is my good friend, and roommate, Gemini Shiro." "Shiro, Just Shiro." "Right, We're here to make sure that you all are adapting easily into life here, and to answer any questions you may have." Being the polite young man that he was, Gokan cracked a smile to the group and nodded. "Name's Gokan. Nice to meet you all." Edited by Gokan, Feb 24 2009, 11:19 PM.

'Huh, so I guess you can have music players out here.' was her first thought as she looked at the punk skater who had suddenly appeared next to her. It was also her only thought at the moment. A thought centered around selfish desire. A quick action of her hands had her papers rolled up neatly then clasped in one hand so she didn't project the possibility that said papers were more interesting than company. She certainly did not wish to come off as rude. First impressions are important after all. As he remained in her presence, she felt his eyes all over her voluptuous body. It wasn't too annoying, mostly thanks to the fact she was used to it. People stopping to look at her in general, that is. Even with her curves hidden mostly in the full schoolgirl outfit it was obvious she was fairly well stacked. Still as he looked her over, she wondered if this guy had x-ray vision or something at one point in his obvious examination. Despite the fact she felt like she were being stared, if not, outright ogled at she put up with it. At least for now. He may not make a habit of looking her over, after all. He extended his hand to her after he got his eyeful of her, and then introduced himself to her. From the looks of the guy his actions weren't what she expected, but being open minded as she is, she went with it. "I'm Sakaki Aoyama." she introduced herself calmly as she shook his hand with a casual grip with nothing flashy. Her voice was a cool, quiet, and a somewhat low female one that hinted at maturity. She certainly wasn't one of those squeaky voiced high school girls at all from the way things seemed. The sharp look in her eyes, and the serious look on her face definitely didn't denote youthful exuberance. Then another girl appeared to introduce herself. Ah, two girls, not just one. "Yes, I am new." She spoke to them, maintaining her calm tone. "I am Sakaki Aoyama." She introduced herself to the girls. One of the girls seemed nice, the other seemed like a child being taken some place she didn't want to go and was clearly bored. Still, they came to see her, and help her so she must be nice to them... well, unless they turn on her. The school certainly had some friendly persons, even though some didn't look it. That's nice. "I have no questions at the moment. I am, however, seeking to find my classes, and my room," Sakaki spoke to the group that quickly formed around her. If they want to help, then she may as well utilize it. Then there was a fourth person who arrived. Her ego poked at her to think she were popular for some reason, but she knew better than to think that. Crowds have a gravitational pull growing larger with more ease the larger it gets, and, despite her having been the nucleus of the growing atom of people, she knew it was just coincidence as opposed to any notion that she might immediately be popular. This guy, identifying himself as "Gokan," didn't eyeball her over like the other had which was nice. She introduced herself to him as well. "I am Sakaki Aoyama." She said as she maintained her calm demeanor showing no signs of irritation at the fact she basically repeated herself three times. |

Looking at the kids who had just arrived with him and Sakaki he then began to back away, being one of those kids who were in a big crowd wasn't his thing he loved to be with the more smaller cooler kids he then turned and ran the back of his skateboard on the ground jumping onto it he rolled away avoided those who like to be in big crowds. "See ya later." He said as he then smiled. "Losers." he whispered as he then turned around on his skate board and kicked his foot on the ground a few times speeding towards the students he was ready to play chicken whoever moved he would laugh at though if none of them moved then he was done for unless he could jump off the board and go rolling on the ground he stopped 10 feet away from them and kicked his board into the air as he then grabbed his board and held it by his side. "Hmm maybe I should give them a chance." he said as he then sighed and shook his head not believeing he was doing this he was hopeing that no one else would join and this was as big as the group was going to get any bigger and he would surely leave,he tucked his board back into his right arm and walked back over to the new kids not being very pleased about it he then began to introduce himself to the two new kids that had arrived. "My name is Kirova Kovu." |

>>"Name's Gokan. Nice to meet you all."<< Kira regarded the man with a genuine smile; a trademark of hers, of course, as most people around the school came to understand. A day without her smile was like a day without sun; her smile always seemed to hold the equivalent of the sun's rays breaking through the darkest of clouds... and blah blah blah, Shiro was kinda sick of it. She pinched the bridge of her nose at the annoyance of what seemed to be an author, storytelling the day's events. It was just like that American doctor show, where the main character gave a monologue in his own head in an attempt to break the fourth wall. It was a decent show, but Shiro wasn't really one for comedy; that was all Gemini. Still, she had agreed to Kira's decision on greeting the newbies, knowing full well that she would do nothing but complain if she hadn't accompanied her. Now, though, she was wishing she had let Gemini take control; at least, then, she wouldn't be bored to tears. >>"I have no questions at the moment. I am, however, seeking to find my classes, and my room... I am Sakaki Aoyama."<< Feeling a nudge from Kira, Shiro nodded her head respectfully to the two, the other seeming to take his leave. >>"See ya later."<< She heard the man speak, but it seemed directed to the other girl; Sakaki. She gave a mock solute that was more of a wave than anything; a little rude, the kid was, but whatever. Less people meant she needed to talk less. Aoyama... why did that name sound familiar? Shiro blinked a few times, the name suddenly sparking something. She brought a hand to her chin as Kira spoke, as though in deep thought. "I can certainly help you with that," Kira announced to Sakaki's question. The crimson haired girl smiled and nodded her head quickly. "I can take you to the administrator to get a copy of your class schedule, but I can take you to the dorms first if you'd like." "I believe she is the one to be moving in across the hall from us," Shiro's voice was much softer, her eyes shifting from that cold crimson hue to a softer, sapphire shade. Kira's smile brightened to hear the familiar tone of voice that belonged to Shiro's counter part. Shiro's features softened in an instant as Gemini resumed control; the prior now very glad she didn't have to deal with the nonsense any longer. "I am terribly sorry; I am Gemini. Like a small portion of students within the grounds, I old a different personality. Together, we go by Gemini Shiro; she takes the latter name, while I take the first." Kira's attention was brought elsewhere as the teen who had skateboarded off made a sudden U turn back in their direction. >>"My name is Kirova Kovu."<< "Well, um," Kira was a bit hesitant at first, not really understanding the actions of one leaving, then suddenly coming back to introduce themselves. Still, she was supposed to be a role model, so she shifted her own thoughts aside rather quickly and bowed her head slightly. "Kira; Kira Rounin." "Gemini," the sapphire-crimson haired girl nodded her head as well. "Gemini Shiro. It certainly is a pleasure to meet you all." "Well, now that we've got introductions out of the way," Kira stated as she began to turn toward the courtyard. "How about a tour of the school?" With that, the redhead began to lead the march through the courtyard, while Gemini, the curious girl that she was, began to ramble questions upon the poor souls that followed. "So, what kind of abilities do you all have?" Gemini blinked curiously. "You gotta be able to do something in order to want to go to school here, right?" Already, though, Gemini was producing a variety of possibilities, most seemed rather... imaginative, and only based upon the appearance and brief personality that each one seemed to give. |

"I am Sakaki Aoyama." Gokan nodded to Sakaki with a friendly smile. There was Kira, Shiro, and Sakaki, so he turned to the other young man, waiting for his eventual response to their introductions. Oddly enough, that didn't really happen. "See ya later." With that, the other guy hopped on his skateboard and took off. Gokan twisted his face up in surprise and confusion. He was obviously sociable round Sakaki, and approached her first. So why did he up and flee when others got around? Was he nervous in a group? Or maybe he was a noob who tried to spit game and left when he realized he got blue balled today. There were a million answers to that question and Gokan didn't know the right one. He didn't really care all that much, either. "I can certainly help you with that," Kira said, referencing something he didn't know about, probably something Sakaki brought up before he arrived. "I can take you to the administrator to get a copy of your class schedule, but I can take you to the dorms first if you'd like." "I believe she is the one to be moving in across the hall from us," Once again, the teen's face twisted up in surprise as the second girl, Shiro, changed her voice with pretty much no warning. "I am terribly sorry; I am Gemini. Like a small portion of students within the grounds, I old a different personality. Together, we go by Gemini Shiro; she takes the latter name, while I take the first." "Oh, like some split personality thing?" He chimed in, not realizing how rude his comment appeared to be until after the fact. His face quickly became red as he shook his head furiously. "Gahh, that's now what I meant, I'm sorry. What I meant to say was one of those dual consciousness things you see in comic books and cartoons." And then, all out of the blue, the skateboard kid came back. Gokan, once again, threw up an expression of surprise and confusion, and just sighed. He might as well get used to it. "My name is Kirova Kovu." "Uhh, hello then, Kirova." "Well, now that we've got introductions out of the way, how about a tour of the school?" More of a command than anything, Gokan joined the others in a tour of the school grounds. "So, what kind of abilities do you all have? You gotta be able to do something in order to want to go to school here, right?" Not missing the chance to show off in front of three attractive girls, Gokan perked up a bit. "Hold on, this will take awhile." Flexing, the teen tensed his body as he zoned out, concentrating intensely on himself. After about five or so seconds, his body erupted in what could only be explained as a blue flame. The energy streamed off of his body and plumed into the air as if he were literally on fire, though it was obvious that nothing of harm would come of it. After five more seconds went by, the energy flame began to die out and condense around his form until it became a dim, pulsing hue around his body. Balling his left hand into a fist, he focused once more, allowing his energy to flare around his hand in a similar manner to his whole body. Gokan pointed towards the ground with his index finger before releasing a stream of energy that ripped easily into the soil, leaving a hole, a few centimeters in diameter in its wake. "That's the jist of it, pretty much. Though I'm only using a low level of power right now. Otherwise powering up would've taken a lot longer." |

Sakaki tilted her head curiously as Kirova sped away abruptly. Well, if he wanted to leave who's she to stop him? Her attention went to the ever helpful girls that met her. Sakaki smiled a bit, then unrolled her papers. "I have the schedule." she presented it, and the map to Kira. "I can't say I'm familiar with the school grounds yet as I just arrived." She was about to reply to the offer to show the dorms first, and since she had the time as she needed to get settled in, she wanted to take up the offer, but a third girl spoke before she could, though. She looked towards the source, and it was the woman that called herself Shiro, who soon offered an explanation. "Dual personalities?" She couldn't wrap her mind around that concept. "Nice to meet you, Gemini." She smiled at her. She smiled at Kira, "I wouldn't mind seeing my room. Are there roommates, or do we get a room to ourselves?" She asked curiously. About that time Kirova returned. "Welcome back." She smiled a bit. Certainly chaotic in making decisions, he is. "A Tour would be great!" She exclaimed with some light joy at Kira's suggestion, then walked after her. The joy was a bit short lived though. The dreaded "what can you do" question arose. Ever since she lost control of her abilities a while back, she almost feared her powers, and she didn't enjoy showing them off. She didn't fully understand her powers either. Only the face value was apparent. Maybe she didn't have to demonstrate them... "My powers are rooted in an energy field around, and through me. Mostly a combative power and not something I like showing off," She explained seriously, "I can also alter my physical appearance a bit." She said nonchalantly to the group. She watched Gokan's display and it was pretty impressive. "I'm sure your powers will increase as the school teaches you." She said reassuringly to him, with a little smile. |

then turned to Sakaki respectfully. >>"Nice to meet you, Gemini."<< "Pleasure as well," Gemini nodded her head pleasantly. >>"I wouldn't mind seeing my room. Are there roommates, or do we get a room to ourselves?"<< "Well, most people are roomed with one other student," Kira shook her head. "Some people have rooms to their selves, but they have smaller rooms." >>"Oh, like some split personality thing? Gahh, that's now what I meant, I'm sorry. What I meant to say was one of those dual consciousness things you see in comic books and cartoons."<< "It's fine," Gemini chuckled. "Split personalities is likely the best explanation, though it is a bit more complicated than that." Gokan then displayed his power, to which Gemini was the utmost excited to see. After a variety of oo and ah expressions, she clapped her hands when the powerful aura faded, complimenting the teen of his abilities. >>"That's the jist of it, pretty much. Though I'm only using a low level of power right now. Otherwise powering up would've taken a lot longer."<< "I see," Gemini nodded her head. >>"My powers are rooted in an energy field around, and through me. Mostly a combative power and not something I like showing off. I can also alter my physical appearance a bit."<< "That sounds pretty cool," Kira exclaimed. "I can walk on walls, and Gemini here can heal people. She also has a hyperactive adrenaline, that makes her fight really well." "Shiro can fight," Gemini waved a hand, again speaking of her other half as though they were two separate people not sharing a body. "I can heal. Each of us has our own unique ability." "I think I might be able to fly, too," Kira chirped suddenly, a thoughtful gaze crossing her features as her index finger landed on her chin. "But I don't have that quite under control just yet..." "I still can't imagine you flying," Gemini placed a hand to her head, as though to cover her eyes of the image crossing her vision. Kira laughed in response as Gemini shook her head. "Yea, Ryu-sama has been tutoring me a bit," Kira said as she lifted an arm, as though flexing her muscles. "Training me on how to use my powers. He's a great teacher. He's available to help just about anyone if they need it." "What about that apprentice of his," Gemini arched a brow suddenly, almost accusingly suspicious as she almost appeared beside the girl without so much of a step. A hand upon her chin as she appeared like a detective eying a suspect. "What's his name...? Oh; it was Go, was it not? You two seemed to have been getting along quite well... wouldn't you say?" "I don't know what you're talking about," Kira raised her hands in defense as she attempted to gather some space between herself and her roommate. Quite frankly, she was doing a terrible job, her face fully flushed and in no way supporting her words. "Go-sempai and I just friends; fellow students of Ryu-sama." "Sempai now?" Gemini arched a brow again, this time appearing on the other side of the girl; like the angel and the devil that appeared on people's shoulders, telling them what to do. "Aren't you older and in a higher grade than him? Wouldn't that make you his senior?" "Um," Kira again spaced the distance between them, the scene becoming quite comical. "I-uh, he's more advanced in learning his abilities. As a fellow student of Ryu-sama, he is of a higher level. And, since I met him through training, it is he that is my senior, not the other way around!" "A likely story," Gemini accused, pulling on the non-existent detective's hat over her head while the other hand rested on her hip. "You know, I was watching you two at the Valentine's Day Dance." "Eep!" Kira's cheeks matched the color of her hair, and Gemini's laughter was soon to follow. |
