Anthro, not Furry you goons

Hinakura had been off trying to get back to opposite world for the past month. She could never find a way back to that world sadly. Every time she thought she had found a way to get back she was met with another dead end. She thought she had recovered from her desperate attempts to go back and find her missing friends. A month ago she had visited some demon, monster, thing. Encountering him/her (She wasn’t sure about it’s gender) made Hinakura feel she could find a way back. She was mistaken and now she had to give up the search before she fell behind in school. She spent the everyday obsessing over her missing friend when she had wondered back to AHS months ago. She had came to the conclusion that she wasn’t going to find them at all. She could only hope for the best for those her were still searching. She looked down at her pet rabbit who was hopping beside her. She was in her anthro form still. She had just gotten out of the Dark forest. She could look more human again but she was just to exhausted to think about changing her appearance. Besides who would be sniffing the forest. Especially when she was still close to the Dark Forest. Then again getting in danger seemed to be a common hobbies for AHS students. “How about we rest for a bit” She let out a sigh and saw down leaning against a tree. Wits looked at his owner “So I guess we won’t fine Exith or the others…” He let out a huff. Who was he going to talk to when he was board now?! Hinakura wasn’t so happy when it came to paying attention to him. He wasn’t as tired as his owner because he spent most of the trip riding on his owners head. “Well at least I can take a nice bath and get my fur cleaned up” He nodded but his fur looked perfectly clean. He blinked and stood up on two his ears twitched. He thought he heard something. Hinakura looked at Wits “It’s probably a squirrel.” She yawned showing the sound aside. Wits shook his head “Something doesn’t feel right” He paused then continues. “I don’t like this place.” He continues to listen feeling that something was coming. It could be a giant germ! He had been hoping around for a month the last thing he needed was a giant germ monster. The sound came again and it sounded like paw steps but he wasn’t sure. “I want to go home…” Wits had every reason to worry there was a bear heading towards the two. It hadn’t detected them yet but it was hungry then they had something to worry about if caught. Being a anthro rabbit she could run away but being caught was exactly good. |

Ahh, the forest. With its tall trees, leaves, and wildlife... there weren't many places where you got so close to nature. And that's just one of the reasons Knives enjoyed the place: the beauty, and most of all, the peace. Yeah, it was the perfect place to come and just relax. At least, it was when you didn't encounter danger. Which, it just so happened, was quite often in this forest. It had been a while since Knives could last enjoy the serene air of the forest -- way back when he was just a wee freshman. Back then, he'd come out here many times with his closest friends... Amy, Moro..... A sigh escaped him, as he slipped his hands into his pockets. Oh, the nostalgia; it seemed like so long ago that those times had happened. And now that he was back, neither of them were around; not that he truly expected them to be. Oh, well, life goes on, right? He shrugged, and stretched, as his feet carried him down the path, deeper into the forest. As he walked along, getting lost in his thoughts, a scent trailed past his sensitive nose.... the scent of another human. Well, another something-human (he didn't expect to see many "true" humans around here!). Curious -- and eager to potentially meet someone interesting -- Knives lifted his head, twitching his big German Shepherd ears in the direction from whence the scent came. He heard voices. Or at least, a voice... he couldn't tell. Can rabbits talk, anyways? And so, he approached somewhat slowly. He took his time for a couple of reasons. For one thing, he had a tendency to be lazy; at least, he did when haste wasn't important. But more importantly, if the people he smelled happened to be a couple, he wasn't about to interrupt... or, worse, it could be someone he had no desire to see. If that was the case, an abrupt arrival would be very unfortunate, as he wouldn't be able to (politely) escape! Soon enough, he was within seeing distance of the person. The other one turned out to be a bunny. Well, actually, both of them seemed to be bunnies, but the girl to a lesser extent somehow; which seemed odd, even to Knives, who happened to have a pair of dog ears and a fluffy tail. Other than that, though, he was human. Not that he was really passing judgement; it was whatever to him, just something he'd never seen before. Shrugging, he started to approach the girl from the side. He pulled a hand out of his pocket, and was about to wave and call out to them, when another scent hit him: that of the bear that was following the girl. How could he have missed it?! He must have been caught up in finding the person! "Ack! Watch out!" He called out, as he began rushing towards them, pointing at the bear. |

Hinakura let out a sigh “Stop worrying, if it’s something dangerous, we will do what rabbits do best and run.” She yawned the first thing she wanted to do when she got back to her dorm room was to sleep. Maybe take a shower first because her fur was kind of dirty and slightly matted. Well she had been traveling for a month, she was expecting her fur to get and little messy; however she wondered how Wits was able to keep his cur clean this whole time. “Most predators come out at night I think so it’s probably your imagination” She told Wits hoping he would calm down. He was getting his tiny bunny tail in a knot over something stupid. Then again she didn’t know she was wrong. She didn’t know that there was a bear close by. Wits let out a sigh “I’ll go check it out… I don’t like the sound” He took a few hops from his owner when a voice caught his attention; it a weird looking human. “What’s he barking about?” He wondered forgetting why he was afraid. The paw steps that had worried him had been forgotten. Wits had a short attention span or at least multi tasking wasn’t a well developed skill. Humans were so weird. He blinked then rubbed his eyes. He realized this human looked weird… were those doggy ears and a tail by the looks of it unless that tail was a angry ferret biting his rear-end. Hinakura stood up and looked at the new comer that was barking about some kind of danger apparently. Why was he here anyways? Most students didn’t come down this deep into the forest unless they were out of there mind. Maybe this kid attracted some kind of danger. Then again what else could she expect from a non fur. She quickly realized that he had ears Then she noticed a tail. “Is that a tail or a angry ferret?” She asked Wits quietly. Wits shrugged “I’m not sure; maybe it’s a angry ferret. Most humans don’t have a ears and tail. Maybe he is one of those anime obsessed people.” He whispered to his owner. Both of them completely oblivious to the fact there was a bear near by. They weren’t so concerned to what he was pointing to after all. His appearance was distracting enough. “Yeah, maybe he isn’t human.” She smirked to her pet rabbit. She decided to find out what this human was barking about “What’s wrong!?” She called and decided to glance in the direction he was pointing in but the tree’s were blocking the view of a approaching bear. She walked over to the human assuming that he needed to get some sense knocked into him. Maybe he was lost and was scared. She flexed her front paws. “I don’t see anything. If your lost I’ll help you out of the forest. Humans have a poor sense of everything so I can’t blame you.” She said somewhat sarcastic. She had a tendency to be mean just to look like she was tough. |

So all of his warnings and flailings didn't do anything to help. Knives blinked, and then sighed. What should he do to warn them of the oncoming bear? Couldn't they smell it? He assumed that rabbits had a good sense of smell... they were always twitching their noses like that, weren't they? These bunnies should be able to tell the bear was coming, just like him! "I'm sure you don't," He sighed again, "I mean, can't you smell it? The bear's past the trees!" He scratched his head. They weren't gonna believe him, apparently. Finally, he shrugged and sighed. They'll see; when the bear attacks, who's gonna be right? Huh? It'll be him, that's who! And he'll probably be the one to save the day! Actually, that sounded like the more fun option, anyways. So, he just let it flow as it would. "Pfft. I don't get lost. Humans might, but my nose'll lead me back from anywhere!" He grinned, puffing out his chest and crossing his arms proudly. "In fact, I'll lead you out! At least then you won't get attacked by that bear." He glanced back, checking to see if the bear had come around the bend yet and appeared through the trees. |

Hinakura giggled this boy was probably seeing things. If there was a bear she would have heard or smelled it. However she was more amused at how silly this non fur was “I am capable of getting myself out.” She didn’t realize how tired she was and it was distracting her ability to sense when danger was near. She walked off in the direction of the bear “Later, ferret butt.” She called out with a yawn that followed. It didn’t take many paw steps until she was a few hops from the bear. Caught a glimpse of the bear and soon realized that Wits was right about worrying. The only thing keeping her out of sight from the bear was a tree. Wits hopped back “I told you there was something big!” He complained and was fairly loud about it. The bear detected the two behind the tree thanks to Wits and his loud mouth. Hinakura quickly turned tail and headed over to that non fur she had met a moment ago. However she kept her cool. “You know what ferret butt. I think I’ll go with you.” She smiled sheepishly but twitched when she heard the bear let out one of those roars. Then it came walking until it was in view. “Hay! So that’s the bear you were talking about!” Her ears flattened back. Why not put the blame on him after all. “So you sent a bear after me to make yourself look good!” |

"Uhh, I wouldn't go that way..." Knives spoke, raising his hand in her direction as if that would stop her. Though, in all honesty, his protest was a little weak; he obviously wasn't too worried. After all, if this girl couldn't take care of herself (and it was a bit more probable she could, considering the setting...), Knives could save her. He didn't lack the least bit of confidence in himself, as any who knew him would understand. He did barely catch the nickname. His head tilted a bit at it, and in the back of his head he wondered, curiously, where the hell that could have come from. But, well, there were more pressing things at hand. When he noticed her expression, he smirked at her. "Yeah? Gonna listen to me now?" He laughed, "Good thing I'm here, then." His ears also flattened back when he heard the roar, and his eyes immediately focused on the direction of the sound. He didn't look afraid, so much as he wasn't expecting that; in hindsight, it was a little silly. After all, he knew the bear was there. "Ha!" He said, at her response. He knew she didn't really believe that he'd sent the bear after her; and even if she did, he wasn't going to argue. No reason to, really. It didn't matter what she believed, and if she was a fun person, it would all work out in the end. "I don't need to make myself look good. It just happens," He replied with a grin. With that, he waved for her to follow, and began his casual walk in the direction of the school, along a path that would take them away from the bear. He obviously wasn't too worried about the situation, with how easy he was taking it. "C'mon, unless you wanna get eaten." |

Hinakura let out a huff and glanced away as she headed towards the student. It’s not like she had much choice. She was headstrong but at some point she just decided to be easy for once and just follow him. “ I would rather get eaten.” She growled quietly to herself. She hesitated wondering if she would just go her own way. She looked back to see the bear was losing interest. Well she wasn’t much of a meal if the bear had considered the work to catch her over all. Wits quickly climbed up onto his owner’s head. She wondered why she wasn’t kicking and screaming to go her own way. Maybe it was this feeling that she had been defeated. Not by this student but her fighting sprite. Knowing that she would never meet up with her old friends again. She cared so much about the kid they were looking for. Possibly loved him? It’s over. I got to keep moving forward without them. She let out a sigh her ears lopped. It would be hard to remove the feelings she had for her old friends. These emotions would only hold her back but killing emotions wasn’t going to be easy. Wits looked at his owner he seemed fazed at the moment “Don’t worry, time will heal everything. Maybe they will come back one day but as of now we must assume there dead. We have tried more then any other rabbit had to find them.” Wits said for once being smart. Did something take over his body to make him say something wise for once. He paw Hinakura’s head his one of his front paws. Hinakura let out a sigh and hurried over to the other student. “I didn’t need your help!” She let out a huff walking beside him. “I was just tired and didn’t realize that the bear was there.” She looked away not wanting to make eye contact. She needed to keep up her though guy attitude. “I’m just keeping an eye on you ferret butt. Besides I know dogs can’t take care of themselves without there masters.” She taunted her ears flickered in amusement. Well her mood changed quickly and it was probably for the better. |

Knives honestly didn't know what was with this girl. She seemed very bothered by the fact that he was helping her. Which was weird... help made things easier, didn't it? With Knives helping her, she wouldn't have to fight the bear alone! Or at all, really, if she didn't want to. He just didn't understand why people didn't like things that made life easier. But he just shrugged a little; it was whatever. What other people did usually didn't bother him. He was, overall, a pretty happy and confident person; his mood didn't rely on others. It made for an easier, more enjoyable life that way! Finally, she decided to catch up and follow him. He knew she would. After all, no matter what she said, he knew she wouldn't go out of her way to make her own life difficult. At least, not if she was smart, which he assumed she was. “I didn’t need your help!” "Of course not," He said, smiling and patting her on the head. If it came out condescending (which he didn't think it did), he didn't mean it that way. Of course she didn't need his help. But that wasn't the point, now was it? "But now that I'm here to save the day, all is well," He grinned broadly. His words may sound incredibly arrogant, but if she had a sense of humor at all, she'd surely realize he was joking by the tone of his voice. And if she was gonna spend much time around him, she'd have to get used to those jokes. "Speaking of.... I'm a little surprised the bear hasn't smelled us yet, considering how long we've been just standing here..." He said, his train of thought finding its way back to the situation at hand. As he said it, he scratched his head and looked back in the direction of the bear. Then, he shrugged. "Oh well. Makes it easier for me to save the day." |
