The last few days had progressively gotten more and more alarming. After the mess of waking up with the room in a mess and both girls still suffering from the far reaching implications of a heavy animal tranquilizer they had started on a two person rampage to get to the bottom of it. They had gone to the administration and because the boys were supposedly students, new ones from Argentina of all places, they had publicly chalked it up to student pranks; albeit very violent and improper that was their official stance. Of course what was official and what was not were two different things; they did their best to find the boys but they had registered, gone to their rooms and then gone about on many pranks and then disappeared. No one could find them and there were numerous accounts for them to account for; Micah and Izel both agreed that they were gone.

Micah had called her parents and Izel had attempted hers again. The Lee’s were shocked and alarmed at the attack on the girls and those other, nameless students. The two had been sent away specifically to avoid something like this, but it had followed them across the globe. It was then that it came out that Izel’s parents had been missing on a short business trip which they had been due back from for days and out of reach for longer.

Deliberating, the four had long discussed what should be done. And after consulting the administration they had decided they needed a team, they needed help, and the worst part was that they were not completely sure what they were up against; the evidence spoke very clear, but they needed evidence. Izel and Micah would attempt to get aid here and fly to Buenos Aires while the Lee’s found their evidence.

So here was Micah, in the place called the Underground where students came to do whatever they wanted that could not be done elsewhere. This was where Micah was putting out the petty sheets of paper and talking to whoever seemed interested. There was some scant information given about attacks on students seemingly at random, the vague alluding to suspicions, and the fact that they were going to assemble a team to make sure an attack from that quarter did not happen again. There was a date, time, and place for where to meet on a briefing and that was it. No pictures, names, or identifying information.

Micah didn’t really know what to expect from this; honestly she expected that Izel and her would be returning just the two of them to face whatever evil there was to face. While she was handling getting people uninvolved interested, Izel was following up with those who had been attacked. There was little to nothing to connect them and no reason for the boys to make so much effort for a few random pranks; there had to be some connection between all of them, but they couldn’t figure it out yet.

OOC: And now...for a fun part.

IC>>>>>

(AHS had its score of bad eggs in the basket. It wasn't unnatural. It just happened. Some of the students, however, were bad in a good way. Bad...like Yusuke Urameshi. Type of a hard case that's otherwise a troublemaker or even a destructive force...but able to do some good as well. Case in point, the origin of a sound... You see, outside...there was a biker coming in. It looked like...a girl on a red Harley Davidson that seemed well-maintained. The girl was both rather athletic and slim, possessing a body that some girls might feel jealous of, though there were reasons for this. Average height with not-so-long black hair and violet eyes, she would be immediately noticed as being some kind of catgirl. Not the typical kind. No tail. This was because her name was Elisa, and she was half-Moonian. Moonians had the advantage of being a sort of warrior race from another dimension, and Elisa had that and another powerful lineage that helped this out. On top of that, there was another thing that made all the difference: She was genetically engineered. Right now, her most extreme powers were missing, the only thing that linked her with a number of elemental disasters both in this world and in the one she came from. No, not Moonia, another Earth. That's another story, though.)

Elisa: Sometimes, I wish I could let go, but...I can never forget. It's the price of being unnatural.

(We won't delve too deeply into her past at this point, but it was sort of important to note this to understand the way that her mind works. She was mostly amoral. How can you tell? Well, for starters...the Harley was stolen. She stole it and stashed it in her closet and would never explain it to her roommate, Sorns. She also maintained it by attacking biker gangs and ripping out all the good parts for herself. Anyone who tried to stop her from living according to her own style would get hurt. So, she was here, and she was listening to some music on her iPod, which...was NOT stolen, actually. Her sister gave her that. Elisa was in sort of a mellow mood for the moment. She didn't lock up the bike, she just put a sticky note on it that said...)

Touch it and you die by the hand of the Kali Ma. - Elisa

(An Indiana Jones reference, amusingly put there to see how many people listened. Amazingly...all of them. Not that she cared. If the Harley turned up missing, she'd go steal another one. Now, she was leaving the Harley and going to the Underground for a drink. Elisa did alot of the loner routine. Sometimes she hung out with Sorns, sometimes she hung out with family, but mostly...herself. Stepping, though, she noticed...a piece of paper lying on the floor. Hmmm? What's this? Attacks on students? Now, let's see here... Wasn't there that guy who...? Well, HE ended up tossed down some stairs. After all, Elisa was uber-strong AND she could hear well. You don't sneak up on and overpower her that easily. Picking the paper up, she looked around. Ah, so there was a girl passing these out. Switching off her iPod and pulling the buds out of her cat-ears, and walked over and just said...)

Elisa: So...explain?

(She did, after all, have her curiosity to satisfy.)

((OOC: Gah - short and crappy - I know!))

Micah intended to only stay for a few moments - pin a few up on a wall, leave some of them on counters, hand a few to people around and leave. Her head still hurt profusely, and she had the nervous inkling that someone might go after Izel if she wasn't there. It was silly, but she couldn't help fearing for her friend and seeing spooks around each corner.

Turning around she was accosted by a rather odd looking individual, face stoic save for a rogue eyebrow that twitched up as she stepped closer, "So...explain?"

Holding up one of the flyers, "Did you hear about a lot of pranks a few nights ago? Well they weren't pranks, but that's what the school is calling them. We think it was a targeted attack and we're trying to find out why."

Putting the last small stack on the counter next to her, she turned back to the girl, sliding her hands in the pockets of her jeans. She could feel the soreness in her body, and not the good kind that came from hours sparing with her family at home. "We think we know who did it, but the school can't acknowledge it and we want to get everyone together to discuss it and build a team to go back and find out what happened."

"Did you hear about a lot of pranks a few nights ago? Well they weren't pranks, but that's what the school is calling them. We think it was a targeted attack and we're trying to find out why."

Elisa: Hmmm....

(Funny thing about that, actually...)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(It was late one night when she got back into the school. It'd been alot of driving around on the Harley, and now she was just tired. Yawning, Elisa headed upstairs to her room, carrying the motorcycle with her. She ordinarily kept it in the closet, no explanations to Sorns, who didn't appear to be around right now. Fair enough. She headed for the room, opened the door, and then heard the movement before the lead pipe came down.)
*CLUNK!*
Elisa: Ow.
(Turning towards the source of the pipe, Elisa found a youth with a gasmask on holding a now-bent length of pipe. What was this, Team Fortress? He's got it all wrong! The Pyro wields a fire axe, not a pipe! Actually, if this was a game, Elisa didn't find it very funny. And, in a swift movement, she punched the guy hard enough to fly off into the other end of the hallway.)
Elisa: Sweet dreams, asshole.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(She never once considered that it might've been a deliberate attack, as a small part of something bigger. The thought had not been entertained and her logical mind should've been on top of this. Actually, in its tired state at the time, it probably figured that conspiracies were a low likelyhood and not with considering two minutes before Z-time.)

Elisa: I might've heard something about it.

"We think we know who did it, but the school can't acknowledge it and we want to get everyone together to discuss it and build a team to go back and find out what happened."

Elisa: And this team-building session is at the place and time described here? I see. So, lemme just ask...

(And her glare was more careful about this now.)

Elisa: When did they get to you?

Wiggling her fingers inside of her jeans pocket, she sorta wished she'd worn a jacket; she was yet to be comfortable with the cooler climate and things like wearing more than a tank top which inevitably showed off her tanned skin and tattoos entwining her upper body. Jerking her head to get her hair out of her eyes she glanced at the flyer the girl held.

"And this team-building session is at the place and time described here? I see. So, lemme just ask... When did they get to you?"

Gritting her teeth, she really didn't like thinking about that night at all. "It was Saturday. The best we can understand is that they entered from the doors closest to the Admin Building and changed into school uniforms in a side-theater room. Someone saw them enter there, and after that it appears that they randomly attacked people through the building."

This is what didn't make sense. If they were random, why were all the attacks spaced out and not done floor by floor?

"We don't believe that these were random. Though the patterns are random, they're too random to be believable. Why change on the first floor, go to the 5th floor, then down to the 3rd, up to the roof, down to the 2nd, out into the hall for another - it would have made more sense to progress up from the bottom floor, less back tracking. We think they had specific targets, but we don't know why, or what the linking factor is.

"So that's one of the reasons we want to get together. Find out what everyone else knows. My roommate is following up with those we can confirm were attacked and talking to them, I'm here looking for help from people who might want to help - but we fully anticipate it being dangerous."

Sighing, she knew all of it was a long shot, but there was always hope.

(For the life of her, Elisa could see the point of tattoos, not even as identifying markers. For instance, in here head there was a long list of tracking methods that were infinitely more subtle. But for regular ole' tattoos, she was actually at a loss. What was the point? Nah, nevermind... It's sort of like asking why she has a Harley Davidson out front when she could probably run or leap faster herself. So, this girl... She started to explain her experience, and it began to fall in line with what Elisa was recalling from that night. Didn't sound too coincidental. The theory of specific targets? A definite possibility.)

"So that's one of the reasons we want to get together. Find out what everyone else knows. My roommate is following up with those we can confirm were attacked and talking to them, I'm here looking for help from people who might want to help - but we fully anticipate it being dangerous."

Elisa: Dangerous now?

(Alright, cue the devious smile forming on Elisa's face. NOW she was starting to get interested. Elisa had sort of a "Let's...get...dangerous." theme to her. Not a terror that flaps in the night, but you get the idea. In which case, she took the flyer she'd been holding and stuffed it in her pocket.)

Elisa: I think I'll show up, then, 'cause I do kinda' remember seeing someone that night. Name's Elisa.

"I think I'll show up, then, 'cause I do kinda' remember seeing someone that night. Name's Elisa."

Nodding her head, Micah was secretly glad the girl would join. Izel would be good for organizing and firing guns, but Micah needed others like herself who either had combat experience or skills that could lend themselves in that direction. Elisa seemed to be of that cast.

"I'm Micah," she replied, a ghost of a smile flitting across her face.

Already she was beginning to assume what numbers they could gather; they would probably need a day or two to train together, set up smaller teams, get equipment and supplies... They might not recruit very many, she wasn't expecting more than a handful, but the likelihood of many of them speaking Spanish or having done something like this was slim.

"If you remember anything else, or know anyone else that might have seen anything - bring them along - okay?
She was quietly dreading arriving back home; her parents had gone quickly back into their old roles. They had faith that Micah could follow in their footsteps as she had better training than they did when they were her age - however her life had never depended on her thieving ability or her ability to fight. At her age, her parents had already become infamous thieves and were doing stints as fighters here and there when they thought it was worth the risk of injury. She didn't know that under any other circumstances she would be able to do what her parents thought she could do - except the ones she was in now.

It was difficult because Izel did not know about this particular skill set, and when that shit hit the fan, she knew Izel would be hurt and upset that Micah had kept anything from her, but she couldn't just come out now and say it...

"If you remember anything else, or know anyone else that might have seen anything - bring them along - okay?"

Elisa: I think I can handle that, sure.

(The girl - Micah, she called herself - seemed to be fairly dependent on the support of people who were serious enough to handle whatever may come, heaven or hellfire. You don't find Elisa to be the hero type, but she did like to get herself into things... Fact is, she would've gone just for the chance to bust some heads and fill in her quota for looking and being kick-ass. Still, though, there was one thing... Elisa was pretty sure that Sorns wasn't in that night, or at least at that time. Could he have been attacked at all in or around the time? Best she should ask the lunkhead, see if he knew anything about this.)

Elisa: Hey, if nothing else, I could give whoever else is in on this a run for their money, 'cause 'em a little bit of stress when they try to pick a fight. Hee hee hee hee...

(She gave off a decidedly evil smile of glee for that. This was also something Micah could use. Someone beat her and her friends up, as well as a number of others? Fine. You get someone who's knuckles bust through solid stone to hit 'em back, only harder. She calmed down a few seconds later, still wearing a smirk.)

Elisa: Now uhh...if there's nothing else, I came in for a drink. If you're on your way out, shout "Kali Ma!" at anyone eyeing my Harley out there. See if they run.

"Hey, if nothing else, I could give whoever else is in on this a run for their money, 'cause 'em a little bit of stress when they try to pick a fight. Hee hee hee hee..."

Chuckling with the girl she shook her head. This was going to being them into contact with some interesting people if Elisa was any measure to gauge the turn out by. In the back of her mind she wondered how Izel was coming out of this, if she was getting much of any feedback or anything. They had a lot of questions and fewer answers. Hopefully that would change soon.

"Now uhh...if there's nothing else, I came in for a drink. If you're on your way out, shout "Kali Ma!" at anyone eyeing my Harley out there. See if they run"

"Right," Micah nodded and glanced around. There were a few other people around, but not many and none she really felt were worth approaching or talking to. Plus she was nervous about Izel being on her own, though the thought was silly she knew.

"Well we'll see you there then." Her lips pulled up into something like a smile that never reached the rest of her face. "Later," turning stiffly she thought once more about visiting the school's hospital. Perhaps they had something that would ease the pain.
