![]() He couldn't help but let a sly and somewhat slimy smirk etch his features. What he had in his hand was something well-known, almost like a right of passage for all men, too. It had a sphere shape, and it was as red as the blood it obtained from the hard work of those who were associated with it. Okay, maybe that was going a bit to far, but it's importance was of that magnitude, the item that he held in his hand was the dodge ball; the awe inspiring ball. ![]() "With this ball in my hand, no one shall be spared from my wrath!" He said that, eyes sparkling with joy and malevolent intent as well. Except there was one fatal flaw, there was no one here! What was he going to do, play with himself! (Maybe not right now! XDD) He let out a frustrated yell with the coming of that realization, hopefully someone would answer his need. Edited by Masafumi Raiga, Mar 14 2009, 01:00 PM.

The doors flew open with thunderous rage. Lightening danced across the darkened sky as the wind easily swept in a leaves on a rather large branch. It rolled to the other side of the arena with no care of who might be in its path. Another boom of thunder sounded with a deadly crash of lightning on some unexpected tree outside. The silhouette of the being shadowed at the door spilled onto the floor. The wind sounded as though it laughed at the poor indiviual who had to face such a being. Releasing a hold on the doors, a single figure walked in with a determined stride. As the light reached it, it's features became apparent. Dirty blonde hair, large Persian blue eyes that held a non-interest in everything it seen. Orange hoodie, black shorts, bare feet. All were true for the intimidating 5 foot frame of the little girl. After a few more paces, Chrys sat down indian style. She was glad to be out of the freak storm. It had just started to rain but she still ended up soaked. With no regard for anyone else in the room, she tilted her head, lifted up her right leg, and tapped her foot lightly against her head. Excess water showered the area around her. Once satisfied, she returned to her sitting position, and nonchalantly let her eyes settle on the tall teen in front of her. She sat there quietly, disturbingly so, with emotionless, observant eyes. |

So dramatic, so bold an entrance the blond haired girl gave! Before the doors could click shut, a hand reached out to push it forward once more. This revealed the slender build of the 5'4" Ines, and her not so pleasant reaction to the one before her. Ines lightly scratched her disheveled hair as she made a less than spectacular entrance. Well, it would have been awesome in all ways but one, if the blond one hadn't stolen her idea. Well, now that everything was said and done, there was no reason to worry about it. She ended her journey on the opposite side of this blond girl, next to another boy who wielded the ball. Yes...Instead of complaining, she would get her revenge. Eyes burning with renewed determination, she flung a pointed finger at her opponent. "I will pay you back for this!" Just then the doors burst forth, giving way to a flood of birds. They were in a frenzy; they fluttered about the room, and squawked in their respectable languages, and amongst the chaos appeared Alarica. Despite the rain outside, she was quite dry. Looking up at these birds, she nodded her head to them. After another moment or two of this disturbance, the winged creatures fled from the building and quickly set forth to find refuge from the storm. Usually, this girl would be clothed in an elegant dress of dark color. But today, today she was ready to play this game clad in her sporty attire. Edited by dotta, Mar 15 2009, 03:57 PM.

Jarreth had appeared, somewhere between the doors flying open and the birds flying through Jarreth had appeared. His impressive abilities in the fields of stealth allowed from him to slip in unnoticed so that he now stood directly behind the one holding the ball, the one who was apparently the leader of this grouping. His eyes hidden behind black hair layered in heavy spikes, so thick is cast a dark shadow large enough to spread across his entire face leaving only his cold emotionless lips remaining. Dodgeball, it was a game, games were supposed to be fun. Jarreth so wished he could experience fun, so much he wished he could experience fun. Perhaps he was letting himself in for disappointment once again, but Jarreth would attempt once more at playing, he would attempt once more at playing without feeling that his actions are unnecessary. He was dressed in his school uniform, having only just decided to stalk and follow the one of the others to this location and so unknowing as to what would await him. “I will.. make up the teams.” He spoke softly, alerting the boy to his arrival, “If you so wish.” He had just put himself in a vulnerable position, one which he immediately regretted. If this boy was to reject him from his group he might risk the heart ache of sorrow, however even then, at least he’d feel something from this experience. Perhaps. |

![]() "...What..The..F*** IS GOING ON!?" That was the only nice way to put it, in a matter of 20 seconds, the feeling of anxiety to have fun and hurt someone, and the hopefulness he was having seemed to be drained. It was like a show on Broadway, the way the first girl came in as if she was from "Strangers" . A-and then, the other one came in as if she was from the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Birds". But the most creepiest one was Jarreth, who seemed to have gotten behind Raiga quite some time ago! What the hell was with the world! “I will.. make up the teams.” He spoke softly, alerting the boy to his arrival, “If you so wish.” ![]() "S-sure dude..Go for it.." Raiga said, trying his best to not show how creeped out he was. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of his head, he tried to think more about how the dodgeball game would be with these bunch of weirdos...And which one would he be stuck with. |

The doors burst open once again, causing all to see the six foot boy walk in, completely dry despite the rain. Hatori Nakamura had noticed the rain and used his sonic barrier as an umbrella against the rain on hs way to the dodgeball area. Looking around at the others, he noticed two girls and three other boys in the room as well, ready to play the game. "Am I too late to join the game?" he asked as he walked closer to everyone else. With that, Hatori stood in the arena, ready to have a go at the game he used to have fun playing as a kid, only to have that fun destroyed when people realzed he was a meta. He was ready to get back in the game.

As the doors opened a second time, Chrys didn't move her eyes. Instead, she didn't focus on anything until a girl with long hair said something to her. "I will pay you back for this!" Without moving her head, Chrys focused on her. Paying someone back? That's something Naku would say when someone did something nice for her. However, the expression and voice were very different. Fascinating.... but who could she be talking to? Chrys slowly flopped back, still in indian style, to find out just that. As soon as she did it, a flock of birds came through. Her eyes widened with stunned interest. Yes, there was a person with them, but there were birds! She sat up, leaning on her arms for support, to look at the birds better. As they flew away, Chrys let them, then looked down at the spot she had fallen back on. Before they all left, she stomped on that spot, and looked expectantly at the door. Lo and below! There was another person! After another second, she looked back down to her discovery: A secret People Porter. Without hesitation, she stepped on the spot again, then looked toward the door. No one was there. She did it again. Still nothing. Her featureless face returned, ignoring all conversation around her. She jumped on it with both feet, then alternative feet. She settled for walking around the spot and tapping it. She walked away, and leaped at it with a mighty jump. Still nothing. Finally, she just sat down in her first position. Then rolled back as she had done before. Suddenly the doors burst open and someone else walked in. So it did work!! Sitting up, she watched the tall teen walk by. She kept an eye on the others as, eyes moving from one to the other. Whatever happened, this was her spot she had "discovered". And she wasn't going to let anyone take it. |

Raiga stood there. Almost dazed and confused. His eyes fortunately were still active, scanning there area and sending vital information to the brain. "There's only 1...2....3....4....5...5 people! Dammit, we need one more!" He felt like all hope was lost yet again, though some of himself was a bit relief on not having to deal with the creatures in his surroundings. But to his surprise, and some dismay, someone busted through the doors once again. (Note: This is a NPC) Coming in, he said nothing, and just waited for someone to put him into a team so he could pummel the rest. "Okay, uh...Let's just start this...I'll be a team captain..Annnnnnnnd...Uh, you also. (Jarreth)" He pointed at Jarreth and then looked to everyone again. "I'll start, I'll get the weird serial-killer looking dude who just came in (NPC). And what good would a male serial-killer be without its female counter-part. Hey, you! Come over here! (Chrys) " OOC: The post is a bit lousy, but It fills it's purpose. Edited by Masafumi Raiga, Mar 21 2009, 02:56 PM.

((ooc: hungover..)) Upon being pointed at Jarreth didn’t really take much notice, it actually took a few seconds for the boy to realise that he was supposed to be a captain. When he did realise however it came as a shock, now he was going to be expected to take control, something he hadn’t really planned on. Jarreth would just have been happy following what he was told, he didn’t even know the rules to this game now he was expected to lead his own team? This wasn’t good at all. He did however know he had to choose quickly otherwise he’d look weird, just standing still with his head tilted downwards, his hair covering his eyes from view. First he’d chose who he wanted for his team. “I shall pick..” He started, however soon realised that he didn’t really have a choice anyway, what was the point of even letting him choose his own team if all he had to do was pick the ones remaining, “..Those who are remaining..” Nice save. At least Jarreth hoped it was a nice save. What he assumed was normal to him normally seemed strange and distant to those talking to him. Imediately he began to regret even showing up, he just wasn’t good at social situations, luckily however this social situation would soon change to a more physical one. He took off his blazer and threw it across the room where it fell to rest on the floor, his plan to watch exactly what was going to happen, and then join in upon picking up the rules. |

The teams had already been decided and now the leaders were appointing their peers to take their positions for the starting match. Once they had all stood on their spots, separated by a few feet, something smashed thru the ceiling in the distant edge of the place and fell diagonally straight for the players. A semi-loud crashing noise echoed... but it seemed to be muffled by somethign else... but it was impossible to be seen as a large amount of dust had been set off by the incoming object. A round brilliant orb the size of a regular human was now resting on top of an uncouncious and probably squished serial-killer looking dude. As the debris settled itself, the figure of a girl was revealed. With her short hair and frail looking body, she didn't look sporty and, to top it all, she was around as short as most of the girls already present in the game. Definetely not material to replace a sporty yet crimial type like the one that now laid flat under her small feet. The girl's name was Gamma, and she was actually that energy ball that had just came flying from god-knows where. She had kept her eyes closed for the time being and once she opened them, she noticed the other five people standing around her and probably staring. She didn't seem hurt or shocked despite the ruckus she had caused. "Greetings" Came her cold voice like that of a robot that after a short pause added "Where am I? She turned around and despite her face didn't show it, she was clearly lost. == ((OOC: No need to explain it to her, she'll adapt so just start the game)) Edited by katzkat1083, Mar 25 2009, 03:17 PM.

Thump-thump-thump-thump He came, Mongrel. Eight feet tall, half-demon face, three eyes and his body made from the parts of a dozen animals, this boy was properly nicknamed. He was an entrance all on his own, every step he made coming with a heavy thump, one clawed foot and a wided pawed foot stamping the ground. The door opened to grant him entrance, though he had to duck to get under. Hr came in, stopping short of the girl on top of the unconscious man, something possibly more shocking then him. He shook his head and looked around, "Room for me to play?" |

((ooc: Gomen nasai, Gomen nasai!)) Chrys' eyes didn't go to the door again. They were too busy looking at the People Porter. What made it so special? How could it work its mystical ways? She wanted to pick it up and make it bigger somehow so that she could explore its mysteries. "Hey, you! Come over here!" Chrys looked up from her seated spot my the People Porter, which happened to be so many steps behind the main divider line of the floor. Somehow she knew this person was speaking to her. This person was asking her to leave her spot! She'd do no such thing! To emphasize that this was he area, she lunged onto the floor, and covered it with her arms as if hiding a precious treasure. Her gaze stayed on the one who spoke to her, but she wanted to make sure she got the point across. How did humans do such things? She thought to her few friends. Naku would ask the reason with uncertainty, then agree to assist as long as she could return to her spot. That wasn't very effective in this situation. Becki would glare. That more than often seemed to be quite effective. Chrys hadn't practiced a glare before. She focused on the still shot in her mind of the red-heads glare, took into account the angle of her brows, the position of her nose, the diagonal of her eyes, and tried her best to imitate what Chrys had seen. And so mere moments after Chrys leapt on her People Porter aka random spot of floor she believed made others appear, she delivered a deadly glare! Well, it would've been deadly if her nose wasn't scrunched up so much. However it was easy to see the intent of the glare, so maybe no one would bother laughing at her. Maybe. In the mean time though, two other people showed up. How could this be? She hadn't pressed the spot. She looked around and ended up looking at the people on the other side of the line before looking at their general area. There must be another People Porter on that side. But how could she keep them from keeping that one while defending her own? |
