Mikara walked through an opening in between some trees to reach the edge of the meadow. Soft wind blew across the area sending the sweet smell of wild flowers to briefly fill the warm air. Mikara examined the area and she felt more at home then ever with all the green grass, trees and flowers. She had grown up in small towns all of her life and was pretty skeptical of the change to a school so far from home, and being near a city as huge a Tokyo. Mikara was actually surprised that Masafumi had chosen a place like the meadow as the first stop on their tour around, but from the enthusiasm in his voice from the dorm hall she could tell it was genuine. She pulled a stray lock of black hair out from in front of her face and tucked it behind her ear. She walked off the edge of the forest into the warm sun and sat down in the soft grass stretching her legs out in front of her and balancing her self up with her hands behind her. She closed her eyes and listened to the birds chirping and the rustling of the leaves on the trees. Mikara had almost completely forgotten Masafumi was there. She looked up towards Masafumi, "This is a nice place, eh?" She chuckled slightly at the total cliché of the typical Canadian 'eh' that slipped out of her mouth. "It reminds me a lot of home." ((OOC: It's my first time describing scenery since high school...I think I did alright lol xD)) |

Raiga was nearly beside himself, as if the meadow knew that Raiga was from a countryside, and it just happened to take a substantial resemblance to his former home. He inhaled the air and kept it in, as if it would cleanse the young man of the more urban air he had been filtering in. His haired was in perfect position, identifying itself with the dandelions, though it did sway to and fro at random intervals. Taking in the landscape with all five senses gave him a sense of overwhelming pleasure. He soon closed his eyes, trying to picture it mentally, but nothing could match the genuine article in reality. "This is a nice place, eh?" He gave a simple smirk in reply, a sense of serenity taking him over. Though there was no place like home, places that reminded one of their home was a serious runner-up. "It reminds me a lot of home." He shook his head, his mouth forming the words as his voice gave little input, hoping the wind could carry the message. "Ah..Same here..I used to enjoy just walking outside of my house to a landscape like this..Guitar in hand, and spend hours just playing in matching harmony with the natural rhythm of mother earth." He said such a thing, oblivious to his naturist like being and almost cheesy talk, but it was the truth, and sincerity seemed to carry words a long way. Continuing his exploration into some sort of nirvana, he laid his body down, and looked up at the sky, almost forgetting of the other things around. OOC: F**cking hippie! XDD |

((OOC: I got a major mental pic of your character with a guitar playing, but he was bare foot and had a flower crown xDD LOL!)) "Ah..Same here..I used to enjoy just walking outside of my house to a landscape like this..Guitar in hand, and spend hours just playing in matching harmony with the natural rhythm of mother earth." Mikara watched the birds fly above them as Masafumi laid down in the grass, "I never saw you a much of a guitar player, you must be pretty good if you played hours on end." She paused and pulled her knees to her chest, turned her head and rested her cheek on her knees. "I usually just went out and read a book, or draw - Even though I'm not much of an artist." She chuckled. "They looked like deformed stick people." Mikara sighed, turned her head again and rested her chin on her knees, "Do you miss 'home'?" she posed it more as a statement than a question. The though of her family popped into her head. She did miss them but not the people who drove her away. "Hateful bastards," she said just over a whisper not realizing she had said it a loud. ((OOC: Arr! Thought of and written during my first coffee of the day!! xD)) |

"Do you miss 'home'?" When she was asking the question, Raiga was barely there consciously, almost falling asleep under the wind's caressing nature, and the all around serene feeling. But when she uttered those very words, his mind jacked in. He smiled; though it was hard to tell. "Of course I do. Though I've had my share of negative times, there were a whole lot of positive times that over power those bad times. Not that I'm saying I'm missing everyone who inhabited my home. Though for maybe one exception." Saying this, he was indefinitely reminded of some tragic stuff, which correlated around the person he had one exception for. He couldn't help but think that the wind betrayed him, feeling it skim his cheek with a grim gust. He still held his smile, but the event still nagged at him subconsciously. Fortunately, he was grabbed out of the abyss with Mika's next words. "Hateful bastards," He looked over his shoulder, sitting up after a few fleeting moments and then finally took aim at the young woman with his eyes. Curiosity bubbled up inside of him, interested to know why she said that. His curiosity took verbal form when he asked his question. "Who are hateful bastards?" |

((OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post...I got mauled by a damn flu...-.-* sorry.)) "Of course I do. Though I've had my share of negative times, there were a whole lot of positive times that over power those bad times. Not that I'm saying I'm missing everyone who inhabited my home. Though for maybe one exception." Mikara nodded and thought briefly about her grandmother and her parents who tried to make life back in their small town a little easier after the accident happened. They were the only ones who still considered her a person and not a - She shook the next word from her head. "Who are hateful bastards?" Mikara paused for a moment and looked Masafumi in the eyes, "The people from my town," She sighed, turned her head and rested her chin on her knees. "They had a nack for not being very accepting to something different from what they knew. I had developed a talent so to speak during a robbery gone very wrong. It scared a lot of people and they began to call me hateful things." Mikara paused, sat up straight and dropped her arms down towards her sides. She clenched her fists tight and growled her next words. "They said they were going to burn me like the witch I was, for that was what I deserved!" Mikara took a shaky breath and recovered some of her composure, her mind drifted back to the nightmarish memory of his murder, "I should have tried to save him," she realized that she had said that aloud. She fiddled in and grass for a moment and then looked over at Masafumi, avoiding his eyes, "I'm sorry for going on like that. It was kind of a verbal memory." She smiled suddenly to mask her mixed feelings of anger and sadness, hoping that maybe, he wouldn't see right through her facade. |

Raiga focused himself on her words, seeing that she also had some rough times as well. He didn't know what to say to these things, he wasn't all that good with comforting people. Before he could concur that she was done talking, she said something yet again. ""I should have tried to save him," "I'm sorry for going on like that. It was kind of a verbal memory." He mustered up a warm smile, she was obviously trying to keep something away, and he didn't want to get into her personal life as she didn't seem to want to get into discussion with it. Of course he was a bit curiosity, but as they say, "Curiosity killed the cat." So he stood quiet, wondering what to say to her. There seemed to now be an awkward silence cast upon them. "Soo..Uh.." He was absolutely lost for words. What the hell could he even say? What words could he use, there seemed to be virtually none. It was at that instant were he thought of making his own words. "Nico barny congo fluu!" He said loudly, of course, he was probably the only person who would try to make up his own words. Even he realized the stupidity behind his action...And quickly apologized. "...Sorry 'bout that.." |

Mikara felt that she said to much to the boy. Silence had grown around them, as she fiddled with the thin, soft blades of grass. "Soo..Uh.." Masafumi started but went quite again. Mikara tried to mentally shake her self out the funk she was going into. The silence was killing her, suddenly, "Nico barny congo fluu!" The statement, if Mikara could even call it that completely caught her off guard and shattered the silence. Mikara stared blankly at Masafumi for a moment when he quickly spoke again, "...Sorry 'bout that.." Mikara felt frozen in the grass for a moment staring blankly at Masafumi. Her shoulders began to shake as she attempted to refrain from laughing, but after a couple of second Mikara couldn't help it. She put her head in her knees and start to laugh hard. She sat up straight once she was able to calm down a little, "Where did that come from?" She chuckled again. The feelings of anger she had earlier washed away and it felt good for her laugh. She looked over at Masafumi again, chuckled, shook her head a little and asked, "You do that kind of stuff often?" What an odd person... Mikara thought still chuckling to her self. ((OOC: Where did THAT come from?? LMAO!!!)) |

(OOC: George Carlin! XD It's actually part of a joke he made.) He chuckled as well, though a bit embarrassed on what he had done. He scratched the back of his head without any real thought of it; I guess it was just the norm to scratch the back of your head when you were embarrassed. When he was done with clawing at his head, Raiga looked back at Mikara, having no clue on how to reply to her question. "You do that kind of stuff often?" He had to actually think about this one, because he was random at times, but usually he was with his friend. Also, he was still completely calm. "Err...No, it's just, I didn't want to see you sad really, plus, it was be quite awkward, y'know? Especially on a beautiful day like this, being said should be a crime." When he finished, the dandelion haired man couldn't help but wonder what was to happen next, he really didn't have anything else up his sleeve. It was quite weird and also interesting to see how a relaxing time at the meadow soon turned into memory lane, and worst of all, it was bad memory lane. |

Mikara chuckled quietly to her self as Masa spoke, "Err...No, it's just, I didn't want to see you sad really, plus, it was be quite awkward, y'know? Especially on a beautiful day like this, being said should be a crime." The black haired girl smiled slightly, "Well, thanks. It did make be feel better," she looked up to the sky and felt the warm sun on her pale skin. "It should be a crime. A lot of people let their sadness and anger go on a day like this." She smiled at the fact that she quoted her mother (for once). Mikara stood, pulled out the map and began to look over it again, "Hm. I'm not sure where to begin. A lot of these places can get kinda dangerous if we're not careful, and well, I'm unarmed right now also." she glanced over at Masa and noticed that he had the look of: I don't know where to go and I picked last time! written all over his face. "Well, since you and I enjoy nature so much, why don't we take a tour through the forest before heading back to the school. I hear it's nice - " she paused, then laughed. "As long as you don't get eaten!" ((OOC: If you agree on the place that I chose you can start the new thread or object and refuse to the possibility of turning into lunch. xDD Live or Edited by xXxPeacheZxXx, Mar 27 2009, 12:25 AM.
