Welcome, welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the new (and hopefully, improved) History of AHS thread. The previous thread was a tad lengthy, even with most of the tales abbreviated into bite-size paragraph chunks. So to remedy the fact that the old History thread was a rather intimidating read, this new one was made to allow you to pick and choose which "Episode" you want to read about. And you may even find some hints to future stories if you look hard! Please note that this entire thread is under construction. Heavy construction. Season One (2002-2009)
Season Two (2009-?) Edited by Ryu, Jul 1 2009, 04:05 PM.

Episode One: The Beginning! The story of AHS begins in 1983 when the twins Mori and Rai created the boarding school Anime High School. Now, Mori and Rai were different from your average middle-aged Principals. See, the two of them were Meta-Humans. Meta-Human (or metas), is a general term for anyone with extraordinary powers. Now, Mori and Rai were Meta-Humans and when they made this school, they had Meta-Humans in mind as they wanted to educate young Metas on how to use their powers. Things for the students were good as they learned how to use their powers. However, there was tension between the founders and in '99 it came to a head. Mori stayed as Principal and Rai left to make her own school, Toriyama High (this'll be important later on). |

Episode Two: Enter Mishima! Needing an assistant Principal, Mori decided to hire the valedictorian of the 1986 class, Iori Mishima. However, one thing Mori didn't know was that Mishima had plans of his own.In 2002, the class of 2005 was enrolled. It was at this time that Mishima started his plan. First, he had all the teachers captured. When a group of students started snooping around his office, he beat them up and ordered the school to capture them and even hired the students of Toriyama High to help. However, those students that did the snooping found out where the teachers were a freed them. They then had a showdown with Mishima. After a long battle, Mishima was killed by Shohito Katsuragi with some help from Ryu Musashi. With everything peaceful again, the students earned a trip to Tokyo. However, things are never peaceful for the students for long.... |

Episode Three: Laucorn Strike! In Tokyo, the students relaxed, but meanwhile an evil young man named Laucorn had set his sights on getting the greatest armor ever created, the Armor of Mars. He almost had all the pieces the last one under Ryu Musashi house. So he blew it up. Once he got the last piece, he started blowing up parts of Tokyo. While Ryu's friends Josh Hyabusia and Shohito Katsuragi fought Laucorn's henchmen, Ryu started fighting Laucorn. However, Laucorn was very strong and got an advantage over Ryu seemingly killing him. By this time Sho and Josh had defeated Laucorn's henchmen and Sho began battle with Laucorn. This gave Ryu the time to recover and when Laucorn went into the God of War mode, Ryu was able to destroy him. Once again things seemed to be peaceful, but it wasn't long until another evil doer came along.... Edited by Ryu, Mar 19 2009, 06:06 PM.

Episode Four: Gonzua (and Ryu Goes Evil 1) Mori wanted the students to have fun so he had a dance done. The students looked to be having fun, but suddenly Ryu started fighting with some of the students. He was brainwashed by Gonzua and his men into being evil. Then as suddenly they came, they left the school, reappearing in Tokyo. Since they didn't want to kill Ryu, they had his closest friends to try and snap him out of it. It took a group effort, but it was done and Ryu was brought back to his senses. Shorty after his men were killed, Gonzua made his escape, soon returning with a young school girl. The school girl showed that she was no ordinary girl by killing Gonzua with one hit. Sakura made her presence felt. Yet again things were peaceful, but you know something was gonna happen. Episode Five: Korukushin - Power Personified During this time, several things happened including the disappearence of Josh, Sho, and Shinto. MACHINE was formed and Ryu's evil side, Kaiser, briefly took over and rampaged around the school before being stopped. Then came one of the greatest threats to ever grace AHS. Korukushin. After Warren, Nico and Korukushin's men destroy the campus, they begin battle with them. The students were able to hold their own until Korukushin came and soundly defeated the students. However, Korukushin then ordered his men to leave as they began destroying cities all over the world. The students attempt to stop Korukushin, but to no avail and are delt a major blow when Ryu destroys himself and the city of Chicago in an attempt to kill Korukushin. However, Ryu's sacrifice did weaken Korukushin enough to make him rush his plan. He returned to the school and began battling with the students. It looked like the students were going to be defeated again when Josh broke Warren's hold over him and retook his body. Josh then seemingly killed Korukushin. |

Episode Six: Rai's Revenge And Korukushin Returns! With Korukushin gone, the students had a funeral for those who died fighting Korukushin, but somehow an opening to the other world was opening allowing Ryu and Nyaki, who were both dead, to return to life! This also allowed the villains killed before to come back. However, the students were much stronger than before and easily took care of the threat. There was quite a long period of peace as the students mourned, played, and trained. Then Rai made her return to the school. Toriyama had closed it's doors for a while and those students were allowed into AHS. Rai had three students enrolled into AHS, Ushio, Charlotte, and Nash. The three blended in until Ushio made his move. Now Ushio was the son of Mishima and when his father was killed, he gained a bitter hatred of Ryu and Sho, wishing to kill them. First Ushio fought with Ryu, defeating Ryu by breaking his neck. When Ushio paraded Ryu's body the students attacked him causing Nash and Charlotte to fight too. Then Ushio beat Sho, but at this time Ryu was healed and took Ushio out with the ultimate Ninja Centerfold to Kick to the Balls with a Steel Toe Boot combo. With Ushio weakened, Rai came in and turned off everyone's powers. The students were then forced to escape to the mountain. They hid there for a while, slowly regaining their powers (while this happened some students were able to kidnap and hold Rai hostage for a while). Then Ushio found them. By this time Nash and Charlotte had switched sides and helped the students. Ushio was able to hold the students off, but was getting beaten until he merged with his father's spirit (don't ask) and became True Ushio. Then Korukushin seemingly came back from the dead and killed True Ushio. He then warned the students of clones. The "clones" then arrived, but they were really Future forms of Ryu, Akai, Sho, and Josh. They told the students about their future and told them that Korukushin was the real threat. They then spent the week training. At the end of the week, Korukushin attacked. Ryu fought against him for a while, but was soundly defeated. Before the students were destroyed, Josh agreed to go with Korukushin. |

Episode Seven: Everyone Must Be The SAEMH! Things were peaceful at the school. Love started to flourish with many of the students. Then then MACHINE tourny starts, but the American and Japanese governments begin investigating MACHINE and MACHINE is forced to post-pone it's tournament. After the U.S and Japan governments dealt with MACHINE, one of AHS' biggest threats took over MACHINE, the Society Against the Existence of Meta-Humans aka the SAEMH. The SAEMH leader, Nathan Zerricks, holds an assembly at Anime High. Johnny decides to join the SAEMH to see what they were really planning. It may have been viewed as stupid, but Nathan did what he planned to do. He caused mistrust among the students. Johnny meets the Uber-Men and is dubbed leader of the SAEMH's Power Men forces, Korukushin 2, named after the one who was never truely beaten. The Uber-Men were named after other characters the AHS students fought in the past, Mishima 2, Laucorn 2, Gonzua 2, and Ushio 2. Johnny then made a brief return to ask the most influential humans (Ken Karasu, AJ Peterson, and Neo Valreign) to join the SAEMH. They refuse and Johnny hints at an invasion. Shortly afterwards, the SAEMH invades the school and drives the students out of the school, causing them to retreat to the caves in Dragoon Mountain. Mishima 2 and Laucorn 2 fought Josh and Sho and seemingly won. Gonzua 2 and Ushio 2 were both at the SAEMH's IHQ with Johnny. To get back on the offensive, Ryu lead a small group to attack the SAEMH regional HQ. While he and Ken fought off the Power Men out front, some other students sneak in. Meanwhile, Johnny had returned a young meta-human girl he had fallen in love with, but was challenged by Neo. Neo and Johnny finish their duel, and the second wave of the SAEMH invaders arrives, heralded by a dying Mikey Asakura. The students fight the SAEMH invaders, lowering their numbers, but then the remains of the army receive self-destruct signals. Ryu puts a shield around himself as he fights, and when the PMs destruct, the explosion tears open a hole in time a space, sending Ryu through it. By the end of the fighting, the AHS students have won, but in the process, 45% of the student body has been killed. |

Episode Eight: Viva La Resistance! (and Ryu Goes Evil 3) After the SAEMH crisis ends, things calm down, finally. A ceremony honoring those who died at the hands of the SAEMH is held and several moving speeches and songs are given during this time. Life begins anew again, but things are uneasy. The uneasiness is then turned to fear as a Power Man Mk. V appears near the lake, and a group of students battle it, until it finally is recalled. During the battle, Ryu, who was thought to be dead, reappears. Before things could even calm down from the sudden Power Man appearance a new group, the Resistance Advocating Meta-Human Empowerment, the RAMHE is unveiled at a rally at the school. During the rally, Ryu is revealed as a member, causing an uproar that ends in numerous bloody battles. For a while things were very tense at AHS. If it wasn't a bloody battle, it was a plot against the school. Things had been quiet, though things were far from dormant. Over in Europe, a group of AHS students had infiltrated Vatican city to save the Pope from SAEMH influence. The group is successful and two of the combatants, Tateo Minameo and Cyra Raven are wed while in Rome. Edited by Ryu, Mar 19 2009, 06:22 PM.

Episode Nine: Meta-Slavery Suddenly the SAEMH made it's next move. In a daring and bold display, a SAEMH hunter-group entered the school and kidnapped much of the populace, taking a good 80% of the school with them to specialized death camps. The students are sent to three locations: Santa Fe, New Mexico; The Swiss Alps; and The Sahara Desert. Eventually, the students were able to find where the students were held and thanks to some help from the RAMHE and the US government, the captured students were evacuated. However, the big cost was that the HQ in Sante Fe was destroyed in a nuclear explosion destroying Santa Fe and giving Meta-Humans an even worse reputation. |

Episode Ten: Alternate Anime High For a few months, things were peaceful. The SAEMH took over Russia, Nathan becoming the emperor, but for some reason he didn't immediately go after the students. Portals began opening up all over the school, some leading to the Otherworld, others leading to another dimension, an Alternate AHS. Previously killed villains came through the portals, but didn't get much done before disappearing to plot their evil deeds. Things were tense and got even more tense when portals started opening up on campus. A group of students went through the portal and were taken to an alternate dimension where Meta-Humans rule the world, but the school has been ravaged by attacks from the desperate humans. While they were there, humans attacked and they helped the students with the battle. Shortly afterwards they were forcibly returned to their own dimension with a new outlook on life. |

Episode Eleven: SAEMH's Final Strike(?) Meanwhile, the SAEMH was getting ready for their final attack against Anime High. Either they would win or they would lose. Their ace in the hole was an artificially created Meta-Human named Project Omega, created from the body of former student Daigo Shizuma. Shortly after Omega's creation, two students Con and Sei, attempted to assassinate Nathan, but failed. Omega was then sent to RAMHE HQ where he destroyed it, single-handedly, killing all the members but two, Sieg and Koga. Bloodied and near dead, they got to the school and told the students what happened. Then the students were sent to attack an arms depot belonging to the SAEMH. However this was a trick to allow Omega to kidnap Ryu, putting him in a coma with a single blow. Ryu was then replaced by the newest model of Power Man, the Power Man 2.0. "Ryu" called a meeting when the students returned, but it was a trick to kidnap all the high-level students and replace them with Power Men 2.0s. After that came the invasion. With a massive army of Power Men, Omega led them to the school where they attacked the students, easily overwhelming them. However the students continued to fight bravely and fiercely to protect their school. But soon a lucky break came with Miselo returning with the formerly dead villains of AHS. They then began to attack the SAEMH's Russia HQ. This caused Omega and his army of PMs to withdraw and return to Russia. The students followed. During the battle, Johnny (who was one of the students captured during the meeting), was freed and started freeing the other captured students. Once the students were all freed they joined in on the battle. However, the fight didn't last long as they all soon found out that a giant laser beam was heading straight for them! It looked like it was all over for the students who wouldn't be able to escape in time. But just before it hit, Ms. Li opened a portal and saved everyone! The SAEMH HQ was hit by the laser and a chain reaction started, destroying the entire surface of Russia, killing all of it's inhabitants and making it uninhabitable for a very, very long time. The students were viewed as heroes back in Japan due to their saving the country from being taken over, however the rest of the world wanted to hit the school with a nuclear strike. But thanks to the Prime Minister of Meta-Human Affairs, Ken Miyamoto, the school was spared. |

Episode Twelve: The Nation Of True Humanity; New Eden Rises! Despite nearly being hit by a nuclear strike from several nuclear armed nations, things were peaceful at AHS for a while. However after taking a great deal of criticism for failing to protect the students of AHS after the Ryu Incident, when Ryu lost his mind, turned against the school (again, yes), killed many students, and blew up the dorms, followed by a major controversy that led to Principal Mori being arrested for endangering minors (among other things), Principal Mori resigned from being Principal of AHS. He then went into hiding accompanied by (then) Vice-Principal, former Special Powers teacher, and long time lover Ms. Li. He was immediately replaced with Principal Takehiko who instituted a "Zero Tolerance" policy regarding weaponry. Incredibly unpopular due to his policies and strict, almost militaristic, demeanor Principal Takehiko didn't last long and eventually resigned (via disappearing altogether) and was replaced by the current Principal, Jason Roh. For a while, things were peaceful at the school after Principal Roh, however the seeds for future upheaval were planted when the school was visited by the quickly growing Nation of True Humanity. Led by the charismatic, S-Class meta psychic, Sabian, the Nation preached the superiority of Metas. They claimed that Metas were God's people, that the various prophets of the world's religions were Metas, and that Metas were meant to rule the Earth. After handing out brochures to the students of AHS, The Nation made their first major move by annexing California, turning it in the Holy Republic of New Eden. This led to war with the US, a war that did not go well for the US at all, the Meta-Human army of New Eden blitzing across the US. With the US Government being in tatters due to a former inmate of H-Block (Maximum Security Meta-Human prison which was destroyed by the Nation) blowing up the Capital building, New Eden was able to steamroll any opposition, eventually taking control of Washington D.C. Meanwhile, while New Eden fought with the US, the U.N placed a great deal of pressure upon to Japan to do something about AHS and Domino, which they feared would assist New Eden. So after mounting pressure, Japan ordered AHS to close and revoked their acknowledgment of Domino Town, warning the school that they would send Self-Defense Forces unless they shut down. That's when the Nation arrived, offering to protect the school and provide them with resources. Many students did not trust The Nation, however being cornered, the faculty decided to accept the Nation's help. After the US fell to New Eden, the E.U began to panic, which led to the development of the newest form of anti-Meta Human technology, the Titans. AHS was secretly chosen as the Titans' first test grounds. Three Titans were sent to AHS, where they encountered the remaining members of the Nations defenders and the AHS students. As the Titans attacked the dorms, the two factions quickly found that their powers had no effect on the Titans. After several attempts to take down the Titans, the students were forced to retreat to the hospital where they would make their final stand. However, before the Titans could arrive, they were called back, leaving AHS to lick their wounds, wondering if the Titans would ever return. |

Episode Thirteen: St. Liliana's Academy For True Human Excellence When the Nation offered their protection, they promised to leave once things were safe. So when Japan dropped their order for AHS to shutdown and returned town status to Domino Town, the Nation left AHS, true to their word. However, after spending so much time at AHS, the Nation noticed how poor the standard of training and education was at AHS. So, a few followers of True Humanism (the religion of the Nation of True Humanity and New Eden), founded St. Liliana's Academy for True Human Excellence, otherwise known as St. Lily. Located on the other side of Domino Town (AHS west of Domino; St. Lily east of Domino), St. Lily's standards differed greatly from AHS. AHS' standards were rather lax, accepting nearly anyone regardless of background and even race, gladly accepting normal humans and non-human humanoids, as long as they could afford the tuition and they even offered scholarships. St. Lily on the other hand built their ranks through invitation. They only accepted Metas and delved deeply into potential students' backgrounds, disqualifying anyone they deemed to have a background too risque. The first Principal of St. Lily was the former vice-principal of AHS and old enemy of the school, Iori Mishima. Mishima had turned his life around thanks to the teachings of True Humanism and his experience made him a prime candidate for the job. With him he brought a mission based curriculum, in which the students were sent on various missions with certain objectives and were graded on their performance. The first mission went smoothly, however after a mission where the students were sent to subdue Onyx, a rogue Meta from AHS that had lost his mind, went badly (much of Domino was destroyed before the combined forces of St. Lily, AHS, and Domino residents were able to take Onyx down) Mishima started to rework his system, sending the students on easier missions. |

Episode Fourteen: Chaos In New York! Trouble In Time! Season 1 Finale! Only a few months had passed since the end of the Girls' Night Out and the Valentine's Day Dance when suddenly St. Lily's head instructor Logan disappeared. While St. Lily was understandably worried, AHS had little reason to be concerned until Principal Roh also disappeared suddenly. Reports soon began to surface that millions of people were mindlessly making their way to New York City. With the source of the oddness presumed to be in New York City, AHS formed a search party and with the help of ex-Principal Mori and Ms. Li made their way to NYC. Meanwhile, with Sabian's most trusted soldiers, the Marshals, off keeping the peace throughout New Eden, he turned to St. Lily. He asked Mishima to send the St. Lily students to NYC as a favor to him, something Mishima was not particularly pleased to do. In NYC, the two groups, arriving at separate times, found themselves outside of a suspicious office building that the mindless travelers to NYC (the Blanks) seemed to be guarding. Assuming the source of the strangeness was inside the building, the two groups made their way inside, finding that the two available doors took them to another dimension that they would later discover was the Nexus of Time. There, they found the mysterious, guitar playing denizen of the Nexus, only known as David. David explained that when Chicago was destroyed, time improperly diverged in a direction that would lead to Humanity's premature extinction. In order to correct things, he would have to delete all the events since Chicago's destruction and place time back on the right track. Understandably, not everyone was happy with that idea, however since David admittedly did not spot the anomaly when it could've be nipped in the bud, David made an offer to those present. The first was to let time overwrite them like normal, accepting whatever fate had in line for them. They would have no memories of the old timeline whatsoever. The second was to go inside temple located in the Nexus of Time. Inside the temple, they would be protected from the changes in time and once they returned to the real world they would overwrite their counterpart native to that timeline, taking their place completely. While they would have all of their memories from the current timeline, they would possess none of their counterparts' memories. Everyone was forced to make a decision as to what they would do next. Friends, family, and couples split as they made their tearful goodbyes. Then David emerged from the Orb and with a flash, everything changed forever. |

Episode Fifteen: The New World! Season 2 Premiere! When the students and alumni of AHS and St. Lily entered the Nexus of Time and met the mysterious deity known only as David, it was 1:30 PM on May 14th, 2009. When everything was said and done and those who remained at the Nexus found that not a second had passed, it was still 1:30 PM on the 14th of May, 2009. However the world had changed completely. Chicago was never been destroyed. This caused the SAEMH to never come to power and Meta-Humans remained unknown to the world. The lives of countless millions who were involved in the battles between pro and anti-Meta groups were spared. Cities, like Santa Fe, and countries, like Russia, remained standing, the events that lead to their destruction never occurring. Secret organizations that experimented upon Metas in the old timeline no longer existed. The world was much more peaceful, yet it wasn't all sunshine and butterflies, with two new organizations having formed that never existed in the Season 1 timeline: SERAPH and the Oz Foundation. Easily one of the world's largest corporations, the Oz Foundation has ties (both directly and indirectly) to numerous other corporations, science groups, think-tanks, terrorist organizations, government officials, heads of government, and charities all over the world. While they are extremely well known for their donations to charities and work with the less fortunate, their other ties are unknown by all, being extremely top-secret. Being one of the few groups that do know about Metas, it is through their funding and/or management that any of the few groups that do experiment upon Metas are able to. Of course, no one knows that the Oz Foundation is doing any of these things. No one has never met the CEO and Owner of the company face to face and only the Board of Directors have ever actually spoken to him. The Strategic Emergency Rescue Alliance for the Protection of Humanity, otherwise known as SERAPH, was founded by a U.N resolution in late 2005. While the vast majority of the world is blissfully unaware of Meta-Humans, the governments of the world found out about Meta-Humans in late 2005. Rightly realizing that Meta-Humans have been sharing the world with normal humans for thousands of years, they decided to keep them under wraps, instead creating SERAPH. A very public group, their mission is to protect all of humanity, normal and Meta, from those who would wish to do them harm, whether they be human, Meta-Human, monster, or something else altogether. Of course, the world as a whole doesn't know this, only knowing that SERAPH is an international peace-keeping force. Every U.N member nation has a SERAPH branch with a headquarters, the main SERAPH HQ unknown to all but a small few at the top of the SERAPH and U.N hierarchy. Generally, each branch is made up of citizens of that country, the only exception being if there aren't enough qualified citizens among the member nation's population, they will draw from other branches. The Japan branch has an agreement with Anime High, where they pay the school in exchange for allowing 11th and 12th graders to work for the SERAPH branch as Interns. Those interns in exchange get their tuition paid for completely or a salary equal to their tuition (if their tuition is already paid) for as long as they are Interns. Due to this, Japan is considered one of the best branches, along side the U.S branch. The world as the refugees of the original timeline knew it no longer existed. Returning during the Welcoming Festival for the 2009-2010 school year, they were in a new world, for better or worse. |
