Ruined Innocence
Around the main campus and throughout the forest leading to Dragoon Mountain wisps had been appearing and disappearing without care to anyone but themselves. At first, people were worried about the fireball shaped spirits. But they neither burned nor harmed anyone. They were warm to the touch, but after that, they were nothing more than spirits. And after a while, no one bothered with them at all. But, about a week later, the wisps had started to grow warmer in temperature. It wasn't by much, but some people were worried that it was possible that they could start to burn things. Rhapsody was not one of those people. The girl had seen the wisps and thought nothing of them. Like many of the things at the school, Rhapsody's dimwittedness thought of it to be normal here since this school had thins that were normal only on the school.

What were wisps in the light of super powered teens? Instead, it was Rhapsody's curiosity that made her wonder what exactly these wisps were. She had read about spirits in the form of wisps and now that she had the chance to really see them, she wanted to see more of them. And so, one day, after classes and while still wearing her uniform, Rhapsody decided to follow a wisp around. She walked behind it through the halls and out around the campus. When one would disappear, she would simply follow another in hopes of seeing something other than floating.

Eventually, the girl's haphazard stalking led her blindly through the forest and to the foot of Dragoon Mountain. More specifically, it was a cave that the wisps seem to be moving in and out of. It was here that Rhapsody stopped; standing outside of the cave with her head tilted a bit in confusion. "A cave...?" She said, putting a finger to her chin as she watched the wisps come in and out of the cave. "So...the cave gives birth to wisps...?" The girl said to herself, her conclusion obviously wrong, but somehow on track at the same time.

Bigger than guns, bigger than cigarettes

Kaneda decided to go on a hike today, feeling a little listless lately. He handt had time to exersize in recent weeks, so he forced himself to make some time for his body. He was in a pair of windbreaker pants, a black sleevless shirt, and a backpack, with his iPod in his ears, and his camera attached to the pack. He thought he'd get some pictures out on the mountain. He needed some money for some things, and selling a few pictures would be the best way to get the yen he needed.

As he walked up, he noticed two things. The first thing he noticed was the huge cave that had little fire things moving in and out of it, which was odd, to say the least. The second thing was a girl standing next to the cave. He walked up and stood next to her. Kaneda looked at her and smiled, then turned his attention back to the acve, and the lights moving around.

'what are they?' Kaneda asked the girl.

It explains a lot, no?

On the distant summit of the mountain some kind of energy explosion echoed. It was hard to tell what had caused it, especially from a distance such as that of the cave the two youths had just found. It was just a single explosion and nothing much else came after it... nothing much except for a high pitched whistling sound. The kind large objects make when they are on a freefall course. If any of the two would face upwards, they'd see a... wisp? At least it looked like one at this distance, that's for sure. The bright skydiving object became quite larger as it came faster and closer to the ground.

A hovering hawk witnessed the whole flight and eventual crash of the bright ball. It barely even blinked at the sound of the impact as it barely heard it for a start. But story was completely different on ground level.

A cloud of dust had covered the surrounding area up to partially covering the light from the sun above. But even thru the curtain of debris up ahead, the unidentified crashing object still shone. It was a perfectly round sphere and apparently was half burrowed in dirt and debris from its harsh landing. Tiny pieces of bark, from some poor tree the ball had probably obliterated, fell on bright roundness and were pushed away with as much force.

The world went quite for a minute as if waiting for the cloud to fade away, asking itself how in the world had this happened. Well, this was AHS for a start, so it was not that hard to imagine, right?

Once the dust had settled down, the ball was gone but something else had taken its place in the middle of the crash site. It was the figure of a girl, a slender and small girl who wore no emotion on her face despite the fact she was standing in the middle of a new crater on the side of a huge mountain. Covering her frame was a school's female uniform which noone would have ever guessed had fallen from the sky if not for the little dust that now was settling on her clothes.

"Halfway..."

The girl's voice, low as it was, was a perfect match for the stoic face that represented her. It wore no emotion at all.

"I'll walk the rest..."

Gamma, as she was named, simply pointed those words to herself as she used both her hands to dust herself off a little before turning in the direction of the pair. The girl's roommate had always told her to be polite to new people she found... so she followed her instructions strictly.

"Greetings."

Despite all the ruckus her arrival had caused, the flow of wisps coming and going from the cave had not ceased. Even more, they seemed to gather around the impact site, as if the girl's mere existence was truly nothing to them. On the other hand, Gamma herself didn't seem to actually notice them.

New Student
As the three students stood there, formally greeting one another and then standing in awe at the wisps, in the distance, a man was advancing closer. He was still too far to see, and very quiet, trying his best not to be detected. Getting closer and closer, his footsteps turned into tip-toeing until he finally reached the three.

Upon reaching the three, he opened his mouth and let out something almost undetectable to the human ear and raspy.

"Hello".

He was expecting a scared reaction to this, though he was regretting if one of the students were going to turn and hit him in shock. He had always wanted to act like some sort of serial killer, and the scenario seemed to present himself, so whatever happen from there was all his fault.

Ruined Innocence
As Rhapsody stood and stared, completely oblivious to the world around her aside from the wisps and the cave, another person had appeared and spoke to her. And in what looked to be forever, Rhapsody has a delayed jump of surprised, almost as if her mind was moving so slow that the time it took for information to move from her ears to her brain and then to the rest of her body was being beaten by molasses in the winter racing games. Yes, Rhapsody was a bit slow on things, whether it is her ditziness, her uncanny way of thinking, or just the fact that she doesn't pay attention to much. But as she jumped, she turned to look at the boy and put on a smile. "Umm..." She said, looking as if she had to go into deep thought for the answer even though she knew it already. "They're wisps...." She started. "Like floaty fireball thingies..." She continued, her explanation not truly helping at all pass the name of the anomaly. But then, before she could speak more, yet another surprise was about to rock the poor Swiss blonde.

Suddenly, not far from where the two were standing, something fell and exploded into the ground. The force and dust was enough to knock Rhapsody off her feet and back onto her butt. She sat, shaken, and the short skirt of her uniform spread open for her kitten panties to be seen as she coughed out the dust that was trying to invade her lung. As the dust cleared, Rhapsody leaned forward, positioning herself to sit on the ground and on her closed legs a she watched a girl, dressed in the same uniform climb out of the crater and greet them. Still in a bit of a daze, Rhapsody did not answer back right away. Instead, she slowly stood and dusted herself off as she did while holding her head. "Hi...." She answered back with a closed eyed smile and wave. It was convenient that when she said hi that another person had come and so it could be directed at him as well.

It seemed that the wisps had gained the attention of other people, though only one of them seemed to actually say something about it and it was doubt that other had come for the purpose of the wisps. Rhapsody turned to look at the cave again, tilting her head as the thought she had before everyone had arrived popped into her head again. "Do...you think we are allowed in?" She questioned aloud. It was a cave, no one owned it and it was deserted and yet this girl still questioned if entering as if it was some one's home. She took a few steps toward the entrance and peered into the cave that was being lit by the wisps. "May...b-” She started to say, only to be cut off as she took another step and tripped on a rock. After a moment, she sat back up, feeling the air in front of her in confusion. "Is...there a barrier...?" She asked with a wide mouthed expression. There was no barrier or anything stopping anyone from entering. Rhapsody was just a klutz and a ditz and did not realize it.

The shield girl had walked out of her self made crated and was now standing by the side of the sitting Rhapsody. Watching just as the girl had reached for the air in front of her, so did Gamma. Her face didn't acknowledge it, but she was pretty curious about this barrier that had been mentioned, since she had some sort of barrier on her own.

After a little pointless mimicking, Gamma turned her face so she could see the other in the eyes.

"I don't sense anything."

Her robotic voice was not very appealing, but it surely was convincing.

"It must have dissipated just now."
