A laptop lay open on the bed open to a private chat room waiting for her to come home.

Rhapsody had gotten into this without knowing what exactly it was. Sure, she new what a date was, but what about that date made it blind. She did not understand what made a blind date blind. It was, of course, because of her special way of thinking that she could not figure it out herself. And so, when it came time for her blind date, Rhapsody didn't even know what to expect. The fact that it was a blind date and not a regular date made her think it had nothing to do with dating at all. So when she had left her room and returned, the laptop sitting on her bed confused her.

She was still dressed in her school uniform and had not changed out of it yet. And so, confused, she approached the laptop, looking over at the screen to see that it was opened up to a private chat room. She blinked at it a few times and then put a finger to her lip. "What's this....?" She questioned. The thought or worry that some one had been in her room without her knowing it not click yet and it was doubtful it ever would. The chat room also had an option for a virtual chat, but since Rhapsody had no idea what that was, she didn’t bother with it just yet. "Is this...the blind date...?" She asked herself, still confused as she leaned over and knelt on the side of her bed to look at the laptop semi-comfortably. Glancing at the blinking cursor, she typed it "Hello?" into the box and clicked send. Her typing was slow, so it took longer than it should have, but it was enough to sedate her worry and just play with the laptop.
