Her eyes saw a similar ring large stones, two inch tick at the size of four by four roughly weighting fifteen pounds each. The stones lined up ten by ten forming a large forty feet ring, four spires that seem to graze the sky at thirty feet stood at each corner. In design this was just a simple structure, the fancy markings on the ground and the multiple messages that where said by great mind over time where artistic yet useful, a warrior in his struggling moment could find inspiring words hidden in the structure words that may fill him whit the fire to continue. Yes she saw the same ring the sun was position differently proof that this was happening in a near future, she saw herself she was smiling and waving the audience would think that she was waiving at them but in reality it was at herself. “ Ladies and gentlemen the second round is about to begin , in one side we have Kagaro Nines and in the other Diyu Feng” she moved a strand of hair behind her ear “I hope you two fight for me” She walk out of the ring and Scream “ BEGIN!!!!” |

The arena. It was sacred ground. A temple to the martial arts, a way to worship the body at it's prime and primal. Did that make the practitioners of the fight priests, and the spectators simply the congregation? Who could really say when it came to something that spoke in such a terrible way of human sensibilities and skills. In the arena, there was one, breathing deep to take in the smells and sounds. To fall within himself and ignore the crowd around him, even ignore himself. Just the battle that was to come. Diyu Feng had lost his hyper energetic liveliness that he had been known for. This was the kind of event he practiced for, he tried to perfect his body for. He took it as a serious sacred duty to do his best. Gone was his appearance at the sign up. He stood in the arena bare chested, his wiry muscles were not large, but moved with a calm swiftness and strength of a tiger beneath silk. His pants were clearly larger then they should be, but were light and allowed him freedom of movement. The belt was removed and replaced with a long yellow scarf of a belt, tied slightly to the side over his left thigh. His feet were bare and pressed against the ground as he braced and prepared for what was to come. "Should have gotten a mask." |

The Arena...a familiar place, but what was an arena really? The entire world was an Arena if one wanted to view it like that. But this was a small enclosed space that only honor and strength could exist in, forced to face eachother, no running no hiding...this was truly his favorite of places to fight. He shed his jacket, a lightweight black sleeveless shirt under it. He should have used his opponents tactic of no shirt...but he'd make due. He stepped forward, stretching a bit as he faced his opponent. This man looked to be no push over...his body clearly looked like one of a trained martial artists, where as Kagaro was mostly self taught...This wouldn't be an easy fight. He would have to get serious if he wished to progress... He crouched slightly, putting his hands up in front of him, but not making fists...he had to keep his hands open so as to block attacks. He had learned that from Masashi. "Ready when you are..." Kagaro said, motioning for Diyu to make the first move...he was a far better defensive fighter than offensive. And that he had learned from Ryu Musashi...and although it was not as strong as before, he was anxious to beat everyone here and take him on again...perhps this time he'd prove a challenge to the mighty Musashi. "Lets go." |

Well then, his opponent had arrived, and had called out for the fight to begin. How could Diyu disappoint someone so eager to get injured? Our half asian hero moved forward with confidence, choosing to close the gap between them as fast as possible. He dashed straight forward, ignoring much training, choosing instead to gauge his opponent in the beginning and to take the fight by the throat. After all, anyone who can get caught off guard loses their advantage fairly quick. The iron fist of justice hit his foot hard, flipping in air as he came against his opponent. In air, straightening out he used his power. Yes, he was not pulling any punches. By focusing his energy around his leg, he made it as strong and heavy as iron. Like unto a thing of iron if you indulge the meta joke. The foot was already coming fast from his spin, added by the weight and the force, it was certainly going to cause quite a bit of pain if Kagero let it hit him. And boy was it coming down over him and hard. |

Kagaro got what he wanted, this man was on the offensive...hm...that looked it it would hurt. Kagaro assesed the situation quickly. Dodge, his kick would then connect with the ground, and he had still to turn, giving Kagaro enough time to...alright, now do it fool! Kagaro bent down, jumping and rolling forward as Diyus kick crashed down behind him. Kagaro stood, turning and aiming a kick at the mans open back...he had rolled a bit too far so it wouldnt hit as hard, but hopefully it would be enough. |

The problem of using a spinning attack with a very heavy foot is, even when it hits the ground, and gets dug in a good bit, Diyu still was moving forward. It was hard for him to get kicked in the back when the momentum of his first move brought his foot rolling out of the crater it had dug when he impacted. His roll moving his entire body forward and his extended foot out, backwards at Kagero was it rolled again and hit the ground in front of Diyu again. Like a wheel just rolling. So yes, just imagine a wheel with a foot of iron on the far end and you know what happened with Diyu. When he did stop his foot was dug into the ground yet again, this time though he spun on it, having created some distance between him and his opponent. His foot raised in a kick now that he faced Kagero sending debris at the boy and dust in the air to obfuscate his movements. It was just a bit of a cloud but it would help him quite a bit. In a moment he forced his energy to move around, freeing his foot from its other nature. "I am the rocks on the shore of eternity! Crash upon me and be broken!" It was a shout of courage, to strengthen the boy, to fill him with manly spirit and the will to battle. Seriously, courage and spirit were very important in a fight. And while Diyu yelled this in one direction, he dashed around to his right, hoping that without sight and the wrong sound he might be able to catch Kagero's back. Which is why his fist came in to the side. |

....A rolling...maneuver?...oookay. But his opponent quickly recovered and began kicking rocks at him, spouting some dramatic poetic ridiculousness at him. He wanted dramatic? Kagaro could do dramatic. "I am the wind and sea...I shall corrode he rocks of your shores and send you crumbling into the watery abyss!" Time to step it up. Kagaro lashed out, striking with hands and feet at the debris, knocking it out of the way. A few flew past him, a few knocked him back, striking his face and chest. "Ugh...commendable." Kagaro said through gritted teeth, this would be a fun fight afterall. He dashed forward, his turn to be on the offense, with a move that he learned from the recent study of the Brazilian art of capoira, he pulled back his hand, as if to punch Diyu, but in the end, put in down in front of him, turning on it, putting his lets out to spin kick Diyu once with each foot. (They're breakdance fighting!...sorry, couldnt resist.) Edited by Dust, Mar 24 2009, 04:04 PM.

The move was a feint. A very good one, that Diyu had bought into. But when the hand came down and the feet came up he reacted from instinct. Lets not forget, in the life before becoming a henshin hero, Diyu Feng was well under the thumb of the People's Republic of China, and they did not skimp on his training. That included coming up against styles of every variety, and reacting to them as fast as humanly possible. So when Diyu's hands came up, they came and accepted the blows that came from the boy's feet with a cross block. Now, the force was still there, it sent Diyu spinning and coming down to the ground. However it was important that Diyu was quick and his powers gave him an inhuman balance on anything attached to the ground. So when he landed it was balancing on his hands face in the dirt, his legs low but they soon extended extremely quickly, aimed low at the boy who was break dancing fighting. What? Donkey kicks had their place! |

He blocked! This man was fast...but the kicks still made they're mark. Kagaros opponent fell to the ground, but it seems in the end that was to his advantage. Kagaro regained his footing, only to find two feet plunging into his chest and knocking him back a ways, skidding on the pavement of the arena. He lay there for a second on his back, trying to get over the pain of the blow and move on with it....was he really so out of it? Maybe it was time to give up and get out of fighting...start a family. "Loser." The voice...Kiurs voice rang in his head, his jeering voice. No...he wasnt done yet. He sprang up, dashing forward and this time, his fists would be lightning. He threw a blurred first forward at Diyu's right cheek, following that with a punch with his other hand at the mans stomach. This man had a weakness...Kagaro would find it...and exploit it. |

Back on his feet. It was the only way anything of Diyu's could really work. He knew he had been jumping too much, been playing like a hyperactive nine year old playing street fighter. No, he had to be on his feet. Had to stand his ground and turn to face the man he was fighting. Yeah, big damn mistake. Kagero was on him faster then Diyu could properly move out of the way, to escape with some flashy crazy, vaguely ninja move. Whats wrong with bad vaguely ninja moves? Besides being usually entirely useless. Well, with the fist coming at his face Diyu figured there would be another. Unless you were shouting 'who the hell do you think I am!' there tended to be another blow coming. The half asian hero took a step with his right foot to the side. His body following, twisting. It was more of a lean, but it got him out of the way of most of the blows. But just to be safe from a further swing, it was his far arm, his left that came up. The blocking arm was bent, going straight up from his chest up, grazing against the man's arms as they went past him. Diyu's right then, had to come for an attack. He was too unbalanced to use his feet to strike. His right arm bent at the elbow, becoming a hard strike towards Kagero's side. Yes, a kidney elbow strike. It was only vaguely cheap. |

Missed....his punches missed...who WAS this man! Kagaro could not afford even one more second of mercy, it was time for him to... Fluttering reached his ears as something fell out of his pants pocket and drifted up infront of Diyus face...a small photo...of Nayama, Kagaro's wife to be. And well, she was by no means unattractive. (:P fighting dirty?...eh, its an accident >:] ) |

Oh man that was just cheap. Immeasurably cheap, such a lowblow that there was no way it could have been legal in any sense of the word. Everyone knew Diyu was obsessed with women, with pretty girls and often proclaiming them his goddesses of victory. And here we go, mid fight, positioned in blocks and counter moves, came fluttering a picture of a gorgeous girl. No matter how dedicated the boy might have been to battle, to the arts martial, to hope and justice, he could not resist his true nature. He couldn't catch the photo with his hands, so it was his left foot coming up, clutching it as he rolled out of the way, a good distance away from his opponent, standing up straight and raising the picture into his hand and proper gaze. "Sugoi...such a beautiful woman. Her majesty trapped in a frame, in a bitter moment of time. It cannot do her justice, yet it is far more then mortal eyes such as mine to ever gaze on." Oh he was rambling now. Saying things about her incurable perfection and whatnot, all the while wandering away, turning on foot and heel, seemingly moving at random interjections. At least he wasn't going to get pummeled so easily. |

....Rest in Peace, Diyu Feng, he died an idiot. THAT is what his gravestone would say! In seconds the picture was snatched away, and Kagaros knee rammed itself into the side of Diyu's face, knocking him a few feet to the side. "You will take back EVERY ONE of those words you have just said. You will swear never to say them again. And after all that, I am still going to beat you within an inch of your life!" Kagaro shouted...what can I say, the guys protective. Kagaro became a blur, running full speed towards Diyu, "I'll beat you blind so that you will never look on her again!" He jumped, and much like the move Diyu had implemented to start the fight, Kagaro kicked down at Diyu with all his strength, hoping to end it. Edited by Dust, Mar 28 2009, 02:38 PM.

Kneed to the face? How did that happen? Oh right, Diyu wasn't paying attention. But he got back on his feet surprisingly quick. So quick it was barely human, his love for that photo was driving him on. There probably were smarter moves to do. What with a picture still in his hand. Instead Diyu forced his mind back into the fight, sliding the photo between his teeth to hold it. Yes, he was going to bite the picture to prove his affection! It also meant he couldn't trash talk. Which, we all really needed to thank. Anymore of his bizarre banter would just cause the ruination of everyone's mind. The foe was coming down feet first, well there was only one way to properly end this wasn't there? That's right, rocky three freeze frame ending! Diyu put himself in position to launch upwards with a kick. His energy forming around his leg, turning them like unto things of iron. His legs aimed upwards to connect with the other boy's legs. Who would prevail? THEME MUSIC! |

The picture...was in....his MOUTH! Kagaros leg hit Diyu's, Kagaro flying back from the force of the counter kick. He landed, kneeling to the ground and panting heavily...not an attack, not now! "Please..." Kagaro pleaded as he clutched his chest, "I will throw in this fight if you just give it back...I dont believe I can last much longer anyway." Such was the price of giving much of his lifeforce to someone else, no matter how much he trained, a part of him was gone...making him weaker than before. "Just give it back and you can move on to a more entertaining fight." He said, his breathing a little slower, but his body was still trembling. "If not, I assure you, I will kill myself trying to get it back before I let you have it." |

That really hurt actually. Diyu's feet might have been like things of iron, along with his shins, but his knees? Hell no. Those were just knees! So he was rubbing them of course while trying to stand up. He had actually forgotten about the picture in his mouth until the boy started talking about returning it. THE PICTURE! Yes, Diyu proudly removed the picture from between his teeth and a switch seemed to flip in his head. He basically forgot about the fight yet again, and entirely ignored the man's pleas for halting the match for it. "Ooh such a delightful angel!" He was talking to the photo again. Ignoring the fight. Diyu really needed to get this under control. Some great montage of training to remove his constant love lust for all women in the world. No, he was spinning back on his feet, hard on a heel his face contorted into an exuberant smile. "Oh the treasures of this world! This time! I will be the one to sweep you off your feet. Yes, for all women are flowers, and all flowers must know the sun. And I am the man inside the sun, walking the path to heaven. The women will unfurl before me!" Well there was a bit of ego, but he was on a roll! |

This man was beyond mercy now. "Very well." Kagaro sighed, and rushed forward at Eeth again, sliding in low to aim a kick for the mans legs, or..well whatever his foot hit, maybe if he was lucky he could relieve Diyu of his manly area that seemed to think more than his brain. |

Another low blow? First the picture to distract, to dissuade the will of battle from our mighty hero of love Diyu. Yes, fighting love warrior! That was a grand title for him. Or it would be. Maybe the title of his book, once the championships come and go, once he starts having to take massive amounts of drugs and banging starlets, then craps out into a gutter where a saint spits on him and he becomes a really annoying talentless hack. What? No, MTV and VH1 I haven't been watching. I am not lying! Oh right, the actual fight. Well, of course Diyu wasn't about to get hit THERE. Even if he was distracted. With photo in hand he spun around, went to the side, stepping away from it all. Allowing his opponent to go right past him. With that he began to walk, simply walk back towards the center of the arena, to where the match had really started. |
