Some things are best left in the cage, or at least that is what Lee had been told, and for once he had decided to see if that was true or not.. The student Underground was always a place that Lee enjoyed coming, but today, for once he had decided to come not to watch, but to fight, and where better then in the cage of blooded steel and shattered bones. It wasn’t that big, maybe 10 feet high and 20 feet high, some would say that was big, but when a simple blast of power could destroy it, it was hardly anything. ”Come on Ladies and Gents! Who is going to start off this fight?!” Some-one called to the Audience, and Lee gave a rather confident shout ”I’ll do it” A few people looked Lee’s way as he walked through the crowd and headed instantly into the cage, pulling off his shirt and throwing it to the floor of the cage, dust greeting it slightly. Wearing his loose jeans and his black bandana with white tribal designs on it, Lee thought he felt rather good, his muscles showing along with his raven wing tattoo style. Peering around, Lee waited, the moments seemed to crawl by for him, he wasn’t sure if people were getting ready to fight him or just wanting to watch hin get beat on, either way… He wasn’t going to let that happen. Another roar of the crowd greeted Lee’s ears as some-one else had stepped into the ring, he looked to be about the same age as Lee, but this guy was covered in tattoos and scars, not some-one you wanted to meet in a dark alley that much was for sure. But Lee wasn’t going to let his first fight in the cage to be a white wash knock out for him, he was going to win if he had anything to say about. Moving his feet close together, Lee brought his right fist into his left palm and bowed in a martial arts style, before spreading his legs a little and bouncing from one foot to the other, keeping light feet as he looked at the guy. Lee didn’t overly care who was going to attack, he merely waited, waited for the strike to come as he knew it would. There was a sudden ring of a bell and the other guy charged at Lee with a lot quicker reflects then Lee expected, it caught him completely off-guard to the point where it made contact with Lee’s nose as he was flown into the cage wall, the ice cold steel doing nothing to help his nose. Using the momentum though, Lee rolled on the cage and managed to avoid a boot coming from the guy. Lee could feel the warmth of his own blood running down into his mouth. Giving a small spit he shook his head before he decided to wait for another blow. He knew the guy’s speed now, and soon enough, the guy tried to aim a wild right hook to Lee’s head. Bringing his left arm up to block the blow, Lee felt his arm yell out in pain. This guy was stronger and face, way more then he was used to, but that didn’t stop Lee taking advantage of the opening he now saw. Bringing his right foot up he aimed a turning kick to the guy’s ribs, giving them a firm boot was enough to make the guy bend a little. Dropping his guard completely Lee fired off three body blows before going for a rather low shot and aimed his knee into the guy’s crotch. Several members of the audiences gave a gasp and they felt for the guy as he fell to his knees. Lee knew that in the cage you were to show no mercy and that is exactly what he planned to do. Bringing his foot behind him, he aimed a boot to the guy’s face. He felt his boot context and maybe do as much damage to the guy’s face with his boot as he had done to Lee’s face with a single blow. But Lee was not done, he knew the only way out of his Cage was to make the guy pass out, or yell for his mother, and Lee wasn’t going to be doing either so it had to be him. The guy got up and Lee smirked, he was going to head this one quickly now. Using his left hand he placed the palm over the ring of the wolf before the eyes on the figure glowed red, and out came a puff of spirit smoke, most people would be unable to see it, but anyone looking at the dusty ground would see the un-natural swirl of magic being used. But Lee didn’t care, the other guy was too preoccupied with his painful nose and crotch. Pulling his left palm away, a black orb of spirit magic appeared in his left palm, smirking Lee slammed it into his chest Power of the wolf! Lee gave a howl as the spirit of the wolf leapt from his ring into his body, infusing him the reflexes he knew he needed. Dashing forward, the dust kicking up behind his feet, Lee aimed a punishing blow into the side of the guy’s head, giving him a clean right hook for his troubles. Lee then skidded slightly as he pushed off again, this time aiming a turning kick to the guys face, keeping his foot hooked around the guys face and bringing it straight into the ground with a rather sick crunch. Being down on one knee, Lee looked at the guy and smirked before he stood up, and most people could see why he was smirking, the guy was out cold. Standing up, Lee walked over to his shirt and picked it up, the Cage door opening and Lee grinned, not bad for a first day in the cage. Putting a finger to his left nostril he gave a hard blow as to get rid of any blood still coming from his right one. Looking around, Lee realised that he was dying for a drink… But what to have, choices choices… |

They had been back long enough to nurse their wounds, sleep off the combined exhaustion and jet lag and were now growing restless. As Japan was yet another odd culture that frowned on young people having a simple drink they had headed out to the Student Underground simply because they were still worn out and going into either Domino Town or Tokyo was further than they wanted to travel. Since before they had left neither had frequented the underground they were unaware of the cage fights or the regular clientele so while the crowd was much larger than they had expected it didn't bother either girl. They stuck close together from habit, they'd known each other their entire life and while this last endeavor had put their friendship through unforeseen trials, they were still closer than sisters. Izel was the taller and older by six months; she was the Argentinean beauty. 5'7" with a mass of pale blond hair twisted up into a pile on her head, framing a finely boned face. Her pale blue eyes were a tad bit cold, but believe it or not the permafrost had experienced a warm spell. She was pale, but her skin had a glistening, perfect quality to it that was strange; while a normal observer would just note amazing skin care there was of course something else at work under her skin. She hadn't taken much thought when dressing, a pair of jeans that sat low on her disgustingly perfect hourglass figure, a flatteringly cut tank top that advertised a surfboard and a contrasting camisole under that. She ordered a grandma's basket and the bartender gave her a completely clueless look. Rolling her eyes she fixed him with a sarcastic gaze and asked for a light beer instead. She looked at her friend, Micah who was pointedly looking elsewhere and attempting to not smirk. "What?" the taller, curvaceous blond asked demandingly. "It's a bar," Micah said dryly, "just give me the same thing," she yelled after the bartender who only waved at her. "Sooo?" "This isn't Platta." Micah was shorter than Izel by a few inches, standing roughly 5'3", she was from head to toe ethnically Japanese - but had been raised her entire life in Argentina. Unlike her friend, she had a small, very athletic build that spoke of much training physically. Her own look echoed her friend's but differed in that she was more subdued; similar jeans, black tank top and hair pulled back in a simple ponytail. She didn't really need anything to draw any more attention to her. While most of her tattoos were hidden, the tank top was cut so that the forepart of a dragon was encircling her shoulders, the head somewhere on the front of her left shoulder but obscured enough by her clothing that all you got were glimpses of the dragon and a few other traditional depictions. It was a family thing. Two bottles of light beer covered in condensation slammed down on the bar and two hands reached out to grab them by the necks, clink them together and both girls tilted them back, each taking a long pull from the bottles before looking for the eyes of the other. Distracted by cheering they wandered closer to the cage-fighting in time to see the last half of what was going on; they'd seen enough life and death fighting recently that watching for sport was not what either had in mind. "Don't think about it," Micah said and grabbed the other girls arm, pulling her towards a tall table surrounded by a few tall pub chairs. The two slid into the chairs and sat for a moment in silence, maybe it was a moment of tribute... Either way they didn't say anything, both girls eyes fixed at different spots on the well worn wooden table. Sighing Izel sat back in her chair first, Micah's eyes drifting to those blue orbs. "It's really okay," she said with a real smile touching her eyes. "Good - I'm sure she would have wanted it that way." Micah took another drink, while Izel worked on peeling the label from her bottle. Behind them the crowd roared and then seemed to start to fizzle away, people walking this way and that; the fight was over. Micah glanced up in time to see the young man exiting the cage, pulling on his shirt. Izel followed her gaze to the young man and then to the lifeless form of his opponent. Whoever the victor was he was coming in their direction. "Nice work," Izel said in her accented Japanese. Trading looks the two girls both drank again; this was an odd world. |

Lee looked over in the direction of the voice and smiled softly, he spotted the two girls and he had to admit the slightly taller one would have knocked him clean out if she had looked him in the eyes, she was rather stunning, her blonde hair, her hourglass figure, Lee had to keep himself from staring. He walked over to the girls and smiled, asking politely ”Mind if I sit with you two?” He waited for their reply before grabbing a spare stool and sitting down with the girls. One of the people from the crowd walked over to Lee and handed him a beer, Lee was slightly surprised by this but thanked the guy anyways. Grabbing the bottle between thumb and fore-finger around the neck he lifted it to his mouth, opening it slightly as the almost ice cold liquid went down his throat and calmed his dryness, though he knew it wasn’t the best idea to drink alcohol to calm a dry throat he didn’t really care. ”So, what brings you two ladies here? I’m Lee by the way, Lee Richardson” He smiled politely again his crystal blue eye and fiery amber one flicking between the two ladies every now and then, taking their looks and their beauty in. He waited for their answers but Lee was all too aware of people looking at the back of his head, he was wondering when some-one would come up and challenge him since he had seen it before. A few weeks ago, one guy had come into the Cage, took on some-one, beat them, but then people kept challenging him to fight them, and when he refused they attacked him, and Lee was only now realising he might be the next one… |

”Mind if I sit with you two?” Izel quirked an eyebrow - a polite fighter? Well there was a first. "Suit yourself," she said casually enough. Micah's face to anyone but Izel was a face of serenity, but Izel knew the girl was chuckling on the inside. "Join us," Micah said, lifting the bottle to her lips. The two traded a look while he fished up his own chair; a distraction was welcomed. ”So, what brings you two ladies here? I’m Lee by the way, Lee Richardson” "Beer," Micah said, setting her bottle down with light enough force for the table to protest. Izel snickered at her friend, tossing some of the escaped hair out of her eyes and turning a curious look at the young man who had chosen to sit with them. "I'm Izel," she said leaning forward and setting her elbows on the table and fidgiting with her own bottle before raising it to her ample lips and taking a long drink; both girls were about halfway through their drinks by this point. "I'm Micah," the other girl said dryly, her words drawling out of her. If she spoke slower the Spanish accent was less pronounced - though any native speaker of Japanese would be able to point out that she was obviously not raised with it as her primary language. "So I take it from the looks you're getting that you had a good fight?" |

Lee smiled and nodded at both girls when they introduced themselves "So I take it from the looks you're getting that you had a good fight?" said Micah, Lee looked at her and then shook his head. ”To be honest, I wouldn’t know, just because I was able to defeat one person in a cage doesn’t make me a good fighter. I have strength and weaknesses just like everyone else. I was just lucky that, that guy was nothing more then a thug with a few brain cells. Didn’t half take a punch though, I’ll give him that.” Lee took another swig from his beer, then he raised a question himself ”What about you two? Are you fighters or do you come to merely get drunk and be done wit—“ Lee stopped towards the end of his sentence as another cage fight had begin, Lee was curious more then anything as to who was fighting, he could just catch the odd glimpse of the fighters but in all honest he wasn’t too bothered, so long as no one came to bother him, that was more then good enough for Lee. |

Fighting - did the people here not think of anything else? Micah reached up and ran a hand through her pony tail, the dark hair silky to the touch. "Tonight we're here to unwinde," Izel said, still casually. It wouldn't do for her to go biting off the head of some poor soul who was only trying to be friendly. She might have changed a bit but she was still Izel. "Do you know who's fighting?" Micah followed up Izel's comment quickly - still keeping things to friendly conversational matters. Maybe it was just the way her family was but she would avoid discussing her skills and experience as long as she could, and even then she wouldn't give a straight answer. Though Izel was different and didn't see much point hiding it and would freely offer up her own limited experience modestly, netiher was chatty on that subject. Izel pinched off a few napkins and pushed them over to Lee, "I think you might still have some blood on ya there, amigo." |

[Hope you don't mind me joining, I see an opportunity here :P] "Are you sure Akane?" Two girls walked up to the cage, both wearing their school uniform with red armbands across their arms. The shorter girl with shiny black hair and equally glimmering azure blue eyes looked up to the taller one whom had light chestnut hair with eyes that matched her hair color. Right away the taller girl, Chiaki, seemed to be the more timid one while the shorter one, Akane, was pushing her from behind right into the cage. "Trust me Chiaki! Once these guys see how pro we are at fighting, we'll totally get more popularity for the LOL Brigade!" Chiaki stopped herself right as she was about to enter the cage, turning around to Akane and looking down with scared eyes. "But I don't think I can do this Akane!" Akane, being the manipulative sociopath that she was, sighed and looked back up with a straight face, her eyes looking right back into her sister's. "Father would have wanted you to do this." It was so easy to convince Chiaki to do anything, just mention their dead father. Chiaki's eyes saddened as she bit her lip, turning around and walking into the cage to fight off another male thug. Akane leaned onto the cage as it closed, her hands holding onto the bars as she pouted while she waited. "Don't forget! I have your sword if you need it!" She yelled holding it up in one hand. "We...can use weapons in here right? Well, not like it matters." Akane looked side to side before the match started. As the cold gates closed, Chiaki's opponent smirked. "A girl? Are the rest of you boys so scared that we're reduced to fighting girls now!?" It felt a lot like watching wrestling, her opponent was walking around the cage taunting the crowd. Chiaki closed her eyes and took a deep breath, leaving her hands hanging by her sides while she opened up her legs slightly. "Pride to the Brigade!" Akane yelled from behind while she looked up to the taunting douche. Chiaki's opponent grinned when he saw an opportunity in striking, and suddenly he did a revolving jump kick, a nice and stylish way to start off the fight. Chiaki's eyes opened as her left hand instantly halted the kick in front of her chest by pushing her palm against his ankle, using the momentum and speed of the push to stop the powerful kick, her whole body twisting to the side to provide more power to the push. Her left hand formed a chop and smacked down onto his thigh, forcing him to fall down while his leg was still lifted by her right hand. The crowd roared as Chiaki immediately took a step and onto his thigh, stretching his leg upwards and making him scream. He probably wasn't going to be walking or kicking right for a few days now. Akane rattled the cage, shaking the bars as she cheered her sister on. "WOOO! YEAH! LOL BRIGADE FOR THE WIN!" A look of concern instantly took Chiaki's face as she released her opponent's leg and crouched down, "Are you okay? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you like that." Thinking that he'd take her by surprise again, he formed a fist with his left hand and tried to punch her face while she was too bothered with worrying about his wounds. With the same lightning reflexes as before, Chiaki swung her left arm to push the fist away so it banged into the bars, her right hand instantly reaching over to his face. He released a loud scream of fear before realizing she didn't punch him. His whole body was visibly shaking as he opened his eyes to find her hand sitting right in his face, Chiaki giggled and squeezed his nose. "I think you lose." She said softly, letting his hand free and standing up so she could leave the cage. As the cage opened, Akane ran into the center and began to yell with her paper megaphone. "That was Chiaki from the LOL Brigade! If you wanna own like her, feel free to join the club and you'll be kicking ass in no time! Experience may differ when actually in the club." She said the last line extremely quickly before walking off the cage with her sister, a big grin on her face. |

[[Sorry about how long it took me to reply - busy weekend]] Lee just merely raises his eyebrows as he heard the mention of ‘lol brigade’ and sadly for the two girls, the rest of the underground found it just as ridiculous a name as Lee did, though they did not keep quiet. Boos quickly filtered through the Cheers as people realised that these two girls were there trying to promote their own thing, something that wasn’t really the ‘done’ thing inside of the cage. But Lee did admire their guts in doing it for their cause, but that admiration was lost with the dis-belief at their stupidity. Sighing slightly, Lee brought the beer to his mouth and took another swig, not really wanting to pay the girls the slightest bit of attention, but still his heart felt a bit down trodden, to be able to defeat some-one in the cage was something one shouldn’t get booed at for, but clearly these people thought it was. But soon enough, the thing that Lee feared was going to happen, happened. One of the crowd walked up to Lee and poked him rather firmly in the back of the ribs. Ever muscle in Lee’s body was craving for him to turn around and smack whoever it was poking him in the spine. But he was trying to show maturity and respect… Lee turned around with his beer still in hand and looked at the new guy, he was the typical thug, though more along the typical line of street fighter. Big as an ox, tattoo’s all over his body and face, Lee was surprised this guy was still in School if he had to be honest, but that didn’t stop him from being here, or so Lee thought. ”Look…” Lee said, before the thug could even open his mouth. ”I came here for one fight, and just one. Nothing more, you want to fight some-one, fight the ‘lol brigade’ in the cage over there…” Lee gestured to the girls before spinning around and turning back to the ladies, though in his head, Lee was dying to say to the thug “or fight your boyfriend…”. The thug seemed though, for the moment to get the idea that Lee was in no mood to fight, and prompted went in the direction of the cage. Wasn’t Lee’s problem anymore. ”Can I get you girls another drink at all?” He asked simply |

While Izel's attention was focused on their new friend and sizing him up, Micah's attention was immediately arrested by what was going on within the cage. Her parents had made their way early in life through fighting so while she didn't really like to fight for sport, she could appreciate it. However, with that said, they had just seen far too much life-or-death fighting and enough of that was death that both girls diverted their attention away from the cage. They had come for a drink where it was easy and convenient so they could relax enough to sleep and chase away the dreams they both refused to admit they were having. You didn't see someone die and feel nothing. So if neither girl was bubbly and happy to be sharing the attentions of an accomplished fighter maybe it can be forgiven just a bit. No one said a great deal while the crowd roared as the fight came to a close; Micah didn't think their new drinking buddy cared for the girls in the cage currently all that much. It didn't matter to her all that much. The Student Underground didn't really have very much according to rules; they were always changing and different depending on who was there that night. Tonight the crowd seemed to be against something the girls were saying... Well there wasn't a whole lot of time to ponder what was going on at the cage as some random person got Lee's attention and thus a small confrontation; it seemed Lee didn't really want another fight. Izel thought that wasn't very likely. She was rather beginning to wonder when the all out bar brawl would let loose - not that she really wanted to fight or that she was all that good. When she fought it tended to be for her own life and that meant using powers which meant cooking a person alive. Not really something one did when in a friendly bar brawl... ”Can I get you girls another drink at all?” "No thanks amigo," Izel smiled charmingly, "one is enough for me tonight." Micah shook her head and glanced at the random still hanging around; she didn't have to look at him to know he was still there. "What were those girls yelling about?" She asked, thumbing in their direction. Not that she was particularly interested in joining whatever it was they were advertising, but she was curious. Izel shrugged and looked at Lee, a question appearing in her mind, which she drawled out, "So why the cage?" Was he out to prove something? Be somebody? Check something off his bucket list? ((OOC: OMGz - I'm so offendedz!!!!! :P )) |

The sisters got off the cage, but quickly was pushed back onto the stage when two guys nodded their head, looking behind their shoulders as Lee's big 'friend' came down to the other side, issuing a challenge to Chiaki. Just from the sound of his roaring voice, they could tell he was going to be big, and both of them shivered where they stood before turning around slowly. Chiaki could just feel the life being drained out of her from his intimidating size, muscles bulging from his arms like a sack of plump delicious turkeys. "I challenge that girly over there." The tatoo's sure didn't make him look any friendlier. Akane patted Chiaki and pushed her lightly into the cage, the two guys behind Akane closing it, leaving Chiaki against her mighty sized foe. "They call me. Big Bob." The giant cracked his neck as his roaring voice said in a low tone, his eyes looking straight at the frail little Chiaki. "Hi, i'm Chiaki, and I think i'm gonna go now." When Chiaki turned, she found the cage was locked and Akane was off to the side, looking like she was handling money. "Okay, I've got 50 on Chiaki, any more bets for Chiaki? Oh, another one for BB?" Akane was betting. Hey, they gotta find SOME way to pay for Chiaki's medical bill right? Chiaki turned around again to face Big Bob, who was now cracking his knuckles loudly. "Come on, lets do this." Chiaki only gulped as her fingers left the cold iron bars, waiting for Big Bob's move. Each step he took felt like an earthquake, the whole stage within the cage shaking as his body charged to her, gaining momentum and giving a good and powerful punch towards her face. Like before, Chiaki dodged his punch, her left hand holding onto his wrist while her right formed a fist and punched him in the upper arm, trying to disable him. The only thing she got, was an aching right fist as her knuckles rammed into a rock of an arm. Her quick and fluid movement was stopped as Big Bob took another quick jab with his right arm, trying to get Chiaki's waist before having her dodge it quickly by scurrying beneath Big Bob's arm. The crowd cheered as this match seemed to be more interesting than the last. Chiaki's heart began racing. Everything came to a stop when Big Bob swung his left hand behind, smacking Chiaki like a fly, the frail girl falling onto the floor with a big thud. Akane was by the rim of the cage, close to Chiaki whispering to her. "Come on, if you kick his ass we'll earn HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS" Good thing Akane cared about money right now. "Get up! Show me that Shaolin Ching Chong Kung Fu you did just now!" Big Bob said as he stepped over to Chiaki and gave her a good kick by the waist. She coughed and began to tear as she stood up weakly, holding onto the cage bars. "HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS CHIAKI! HONOR! PRIDE!" Akane yelled from behind, trying anything to spark a flame in her pacifist sister. Big Bob began to charge after Chiaki, Chiaki running and dodging while he released strike after strike. Akane quickly thought of a plan. "OH NO! I HOPE HE DOESN'T MAKE FUN OF DAD! THAT WOULD BE DISHONOR TO THE MAX!" Of course being the big oaf he was, Big Bob fell for the trap. "Your daddy? Must be a running wimp like you!" He had a grin as he looked at Chiaki, who, as Akane planned, instantly tightened up her fists and looked back up to Big Bob with a completely different set of eyes, almost intimidating if she wasn't so small. Big Bob smirked once more, seeing how furious his foe has become. Bob took a quick step and released another jab from his left arm. In another fluid movement, Chiaki tilted her chest to the side, hooking her shoulder right beneath his arm as she snaked her left hand behind his back, using momentum to support her next move and quickly pushing his left shoulder down, her right arm locking his big left arm. Immediately, she got the desired crack and squeal she wanted. The crowd roared once more, along with Akane who jumped in excitement, just counting the money in her head already. Chiaki stepped off quickly, leaving the twisted arm hanging awkwardly off Bob's shoulder, leaving him with only one able arm. Akane peeked through the bars behind Bob, "Hey Big Bob. Here's a tip, DON'T FALL DOWN, if she gets you down, YOU'RE DEAD. I don't wanna pay for your funeral. Seriously, I don't." Chiaki only took rapid breaths as she kept tightening and loosening her fists. He couldn't help but gulp, with one arm down even an ox like him knew he was her mannequin now. "Come on! Come and get me!" Knowing that taking the offense was a horrible idea now, Bob tried to play it on defense, seeing how Chiaki thrives off defending. Chiaki only huffed before immediately dashing up to him, not releasing a single punch. Intimidated, Bob had to punch her away with his remaining arm, which she easily ducked under and placed both her arms onto his chest, using the speed and all her might to push hm down. Taking Akane's suggestion, he tried his hardest to stay up, falling onto the floor and trying to get up before feeling a quick and hard step on his upper arm, grinding her shoes into his biceps as she leaned down and began punching him down over and over again. All her energy was unleashed in this rapid series of punches, Bob closing his eyes and gritting his teeth as he tried his hardest not to fall down, taking in every single punch before Chiaki shifted her punches from his chest to his face. It was listening to a grinder, the sound of bone cracking as she pounded on him. Bob's arm finally fell flat onto the stage, his fingers relaxing as he passed out. Akane immediately jumping and turning to the crowd, pointing to multiple people. "YOU! YOU! AND YOU OWE ME MONEY! NOW! WOOOO! MONEH MONEH!" Akane danced while the crowd sat there in awe, some in shock, and some in horror. Chiaki stood up with her bloody hands, the cage handlers opening the cage and letting her out. |

Lee raised the beer bottle to his lips, almost in thought at the question that Izel had given him, it was a curious thought, he knew in his heart of heart why he had done it, and he saw no shame in his logic. ”I fight, merely to prevent more fights…” Lee said, raising his head to look at the fresh fight in the cage. ”You see those girls, they will always be fighting, they like the ability to take one fight and then just say no…” Lee’s eyes rolled when one of the two girls started take bets ”You see, even now, they need to fight to stay alive, if you have to fight again and again just to stay alive then that is all your life will be, one great big fight. But if you fight, just that one time, to show you can, and then say no, people won’t dis-respect you, because they know you can fight.. If those girls are not careful, they will bring out the real fighters like Jimmy who is over in the corner to my right Lee gestured with his head in the direction of Jimmy Now, Jimmy was not some-one who looked hard, but just from his body language you could tell he was not some-one to mess around with, and the fact that he had several people around him, clearly in awe of him did not help dispel the fact that he was some-one you did not want to mess with. ”Excuse me one moment Ladies, I need to get another drink” Lee smiled politely before walking up to the bar through the maze of people, they seemed to give him a little bit of room, which was always a nice feeling. When he arrived at the bar, he saw that it was jam packed, the Barman was about to serve another one but as he saw Lee he walked to him, “what can I get ya?” He said to an outcry from the person he was about to serve. Lee merely smirked and said ”I’ll have a bud please” Lee took out the right amount of money and placed it on the bar table. When the barman came back with his beer, he took only half of the money needed. Shrugging Lee grabbed the change and walked back to the table with where the two girls were and smiled at them, taking another swig from his fresh beer. ”So, I know you two are here for the beer, but there are other places about rather then this one when you run the risk of being attacked…” |

Micah was offended. It was hard to do; she was widely accepting and respectful - except when you offended her family. Her parents had spent many years fighting just how he had described for their very exsistence. They had worked themselves to the bone to be the best they could be; it was that reason they'd gotten the break they had that had changed the course of their lives. Otherwise Micah would either have never have been born, or she would have been born to pennyless fighter-by-day, thief-by-night parents who would offer her nothing better than the life they had. "Excuse me one moment Ladies, I need to get another drink," he smiled and excused himself, Micah's cool eyes ignoring him. "He's offended you - hasn't he?" Izel didn't have to look, the lack of words was enough. While Izel would never understand the honor of it, the Lee's were more family than her own blood kin who treated her more like a possession than a child. The Lee's had cared for her. Insulting them insulted Izel. And an insulted Izel occasionally did stupid things. Micah didn't need to reply, so she didn't. Perhaps it was because she was just too raw, perhaps she needed to take a nice, relaxing few days and stay away from people. Maybe Izel and her should go to a spa - where no one would speak to them unless they wanted it. "So, I know you two are here for the beer, but there are other places about rather then this one when you run the risk of being attacked…" Cool brown eyes floated to the boy's face, her serene face scrutinizing his visage; he played at being polite to everyone, yet spoke with such disgust of others. "We wouldn't know - we just returned," she said cooly. Truth, they had not been at school more than a handful of days before leaving again - such was the way of things. "Micah - how long were your parents fighters over here?" Izel drawled out, taking another drink of her beer. "For about ten years, or at least that's what they'll admit to, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a longer career than that," Micah would not take the bait. She knew her friend and she knew that she did not particularily want to start anything today. "But they started off doing stuff like cage fighting here in Tokyo, right? Maybe we could go see some of those places," a small glint of bubble at that idea. Oh Izel would love that. Saunter into some seedy place, cause them to escape within a breath of their lives... "I doubt mother and father would encourage that idea," she replied flatly, her eyes going to Lee's face, "they fought, every night." Lifting her drink to her lips she drank again, "I doubt anyone would want to see the daughter of the pair that wiped their asses nightly." She really had nothing she wanted to say to the guy, so with the beer bottle in hand she got up and simply walked off in the direction of the cage. She had no intention of fighting, she just didn't feel particularily inclined to to sit and talk with someone who had such lofty ideals. One of the girls was collecting money from the crowd, another was still in the cage with the downed man. Whatever he said, the girl had talent and if this was the way she chose to use it, that was her own decision. Back at the table Izel watched the retreating back of her friend; she thought about following her, but that meant getting up. Her legs still hurt her and she was still a little low in the blood department which while she was far from feeling more than a warm sensation, she just didn't trust her still recouperating body. One brow arched as she looked to Lee, taking another drink of her beer and ripping off yet more bits of the label. "Not many people offend her - congratulations." |

Lee listened the girls, and he kept his gaze calm and collected, truth was on the inside he was really tempted to just give them a big sarcastic ‘whoopie’ and leave it at that, but then he would have thrown away his chance to get to know Izel, and he thought that would be a damn shame. Biting his tongue he waited for the girl, Micah and just waited, letting her stand up in her stress before looking at Izel. "Not many people offend her - congratulations." Lee looked at Izel, eyeing her up for those brief few moments that he could be he took another swig from his beer and then spoke. ”I’m guessing that apologising for my ‘words’ would be the correct move, though it would make me a liar…” Lee was just speaking his mind and being blunt. Some people hated that about him, others liked it. End of the day, he wasn’t going to change who he was for anyone, not even his parents… well, if they were alive of course. Lee had always had the problem of being openly opinionated and honest, he had never told a lie before in his life, and he planned on keeping it that way, if some-one asked him a question, life or death, he would tell the truth. Moving a hand through his hair, he looked over by the bar, as two kids had decided to start a small brawl between themselves, or at least it was two punch k.o. for one of the guys. Even Lee muttered an ‘ouch’ as the guy got a straight knee to the nuts and then a rather nasty uppercut to the nose, blood spilling out of it from both holes as he hit the ground via a table. Lee was slightly impressed by the guy’s power, but then went back to the table, shrugging slightly ”Win some… lose some” Lee muttered, more to himself then anything as he took another swig of his beer. He felt a rather soft tab on his shoulder, and looked around to see a girl smiling softly at him, he didn’t know her, but she seems intent on talking to him ”Can I help you miss?” Lee asked politely. “Yes… I was wondering if you would care to join me and my friends over in the corner…” She gestured to the corner were Jimmy was and Lee’s eyebrows almost left his forehead they rose so high, but then he shook his head. ”Not right now, but thank you for the offer..” Lee realised that Jimmy either wanted to see Lee fight some more or fight Jimmy himself and Lee was –not- doing that one. |

Akane had a big grin on her face as she collected money from different groups. Next to Chiaki was a bunch of people, all inquiring on learning where she learned her martial arts and if she could teach them. Unfortunately for them, Chiaki was still a little freaked out from the whole encounter so she sat down quietly and bit her finger nails on her left hand, not looking at any of her new fans. Akane turned around with a big green fan of money and waved it in front of Chiaki, "Mmmm! Smell that? That's the smell of LOTS OF MONEY!" She hopped around with excitement, folding up her fan and putting it in her pocket. "I reiterate my offer, anybody who's interested in our club can take one of these WONDERFUL fliers!" In fact they were all poorly written by Akane, but it didn't matter, it had their contact information correct. Akane noticed Micah walking over to their direction and smirked, walking over to her and giving her a poster. "Interested in joining the LOL Brigade? We have kick ass girls like her" she said pointing over to the shaken Chiaki who was still staring straight off into space, the cage handlers walking over to drag Big Bob out to let another fight start. |

Izel was less than impressed, the novelty of having a new drinking buddy swiftly evaporating. Her beer was gone, the sliver of a good mood gone. She didn't see the point in speaking to him. He was more pompous than her, which she found disgusting. Granted she'd only become aware of her own faults in the very recent past and has done rather well in reigning it in. "Well feel free to fuck off," she said icily, her cool blue eyes flicking away from him, staring at nothing in particular. Her hand open and closed around the bottle now devoid of it's label. The bits of paper lying in a haphazard heap in front of her. She was well aware of the fact that she was transferring heat to the bottle; unlike her other abilities, this one had no outward signs. She'd only intended to warm up the bottle a bit - she was bored and didn't much care for her current company and couldn't see Micah any more and didn't feel like going and finding her in that mass of dirty people. Perhaps it was her irritation or she was just was not paying attention to how hot she was making the bottle but suddenly, and without much warning, it pop'd, sending shards of glass cluttering to the table top, some landing in the now vacated seat across from her where Micah had been sitting. Glaring at the pile of glass before noting a few drops of blood. Glancing at her hand she sighed and used a napkin to dab away the few drops of blood. ---- "I reiterate my offer, anybody who's interested in our club can take one of these WONDERFUL fliers!" Micah eyed the girl a little warily. She wasn't interested in a fight club, but networking around the school after this last endeavor could be a good idea. While the one girl was boisterously yelling, the other seemed very uncomfortable. Glancing around she spotted a waitress carting around a tub of drinks and spotted - amazingly enough - a bottle of water. The exchange made quickly, Micah started towards Chiaki, but was intercepted by Akane smirking hand handing her a poster. "Interested in joining the LOL Brigade? We have kick ass girls like her." She looked at the piece of paper hesitantly before smiling, "No thank you - I've had enough fighting," she finished a bit sadly before stepping around the girl and slipping through the obnoxious crowd to press the cool bottle of water into the girls hand. "You look like you could use this," she said smiling, ignoring the inappropriate comments being made around them. |

Lee looked at Izel, her reaction was rather a shock to him. "Well feel free to fuck off," Lee blinked a few times, but didn’t know what to do, he didn’t want to leave because he wasn’t much of a quitter, and clearly he had deeply offended Izel, which wasn’t the best idea in the world he had to admit. ”Well I---“ Lee tried to say but then he had to quickly bring his hand up to his face as the beer bottle exploded and pieces of glass went everywhere, Lee felt a rather sharp and deep pain in his hand and then some of his right cheek. Taking an intake in breath to stop the pain slightly, he blinked and looked at his hand, blood was spilling from it and he spotted a piece of glass still implanted in it, he raised his un-damaged hand to his cheek and felt the warmth of blood dropping down that too. ”I guess… that bottle was one me…” He had no idea why he said it, but he just gave a small chuckle before taking his un-damaged hand and yanking the glass out, quickly taking a few napkins himself and putting them in the palm of his hand, holding onto it to stop the bleeding from going too fast and making a stopper in a sense with the napkin. He looked at Izel and then decided to say what he was going to say before the bottle caught him. ”Look… Sorry about earlier, didn’t want to offend you to be honest…Just used to speaking what I think way to much I guess…” Edited by Lee, Apr 14 2009, 11:20 AM.

"Well we don't only cover fi-" before Akane could finish Micah have walked off to Chiaki with a bottle of water. No matter, it seemed like this girl was interested in Chiaki, and that's all that matters. If Chiaki played her cards right, the brigade would get another loyal member. At least in Akane's head, Chiaki only lives to serve her Brigade, so everything she did would have been for the Brigade's benefit. Chiaki looked up at Micah with shaken eyes, holding the bottle gently with bruises all over her knuckles, smiling sincerely at Micah for her kind gesture. "Thank you." She looked back down again as she twisted the bottle cap off, releasing a series of snaps and crackles from the plastic cap snapping from its bonds to the ring that held it in place. She lifted the bottle in her hand and pressed the cool flimsy plastic tip against her lips and allowed the water to flow into her mouth and down her throat, cooling her sweaty body down. She was still pretty shaken from what happened just now, that sudden outburst of aggression. She wasn't used to it, Chiaki learned to use her skills as self defense, and what she did was out of the line. She looked back up and tried to look through the crowd, her face holding a worried expression. "Is he alright? I hope I didn't seriously injure him...what am I going to tell his parents if something went wrong?" Her fans were still eager in learning, but to Chiaki, they seemed to blur into the background while Micah and her were the only people in the club. Chiaki smiled once more and held her red and purple right hand out to shake, "Sorry. Hi, I'm Chiaki." |

”I guess… that bottle was one me…” Izel glared at him over her hand, which was bleeding far more than she thought it should for a small cut. One napkin was clearly not enough, peering at the small, recently manicured hand - hey, after tromping through the wilderness and battling crazy drug lords in Argentina she'd needed it! - and decided that there had to be a piece lodged in her hand. Well that was great. ”Look… Sorry about earlier, didn’t want to offend you to be honest…Just used to speaking what I think way to much I guess…” She was more annoyed at this point than anything else and merely glanced up at him as an after thought. Her hand was freely dripping blood. Well glass melts, doesn't it? Just incase she held her hand out, overing it over the table, palm down so that droplets of blood made a small pool on the surface in a matter of a few moments. Concentrating, her brows ever so slightly knitted together, her icy blue eyes stared at the appendage. It was an interesting sensation, she didn't feel any heat from it but that was her body. Lee might feel heat waves in a few moments but she wasn't clear on points like that yet, since anyone who had gotten close enough to feel the heat since this particular ability had surfaced found themselves the target of many. Her hand slightly tingled, the more heat bulding up in her hand the farther up her arm the tingling spread; the blood droplets increased in rapidity - she hadn't really counted on this hurting her, but now it was stinging a little. Of course had someone understood the particular makeup of the strange layer of cells that exsisted between the dermis and the rest of her body it would have easily been understood - however that wasn't something she would learn today, that would take doctors and the like to study and understand. After what could have been close to a minute first one, then several very much non-blood droplets landed with a sizzle on the table, then more blood and then none... Turning her palm up a few tiny scars puckered the hand, evident only because they looked like burned tissue, but as the temperature of her hand regained a nice, normal 99 degree (really not sure what it is celcius, sorry, dumb American :P) temperature the palm looked normal, the tiny scars fading into the hand and only observable under close scrutiny. Shaking the hand out and pulling it close to her, the other hand going to massage the abused hand her eyes flicked to the boy's face. Again, why was he still there? She'd just accidentally burst a glass bottle in his face, couldn't he take that as some form of gross insult and leave? Instead he'd just appologized, she hadn't missed it of course but the Izel she was trying to not be anymore was really wanting to tell him what he could do and where he could do it. "Well maybe before you decide to be small minded you should think about things; Micah's parents were amazing, mostly self-taught fighters who grew up as orphans. Some people don't have the luxury to be so high and mighty about their ideals." Right. Izel talking about being high and mighty. A month eariler and this would have been the most hypocritical thing in the world. But in her defense she had changed; she still had a ways to go, but the turning point had been reached and she was in the stretch. Taking a breath, she poke less heatedly, another accomplishment, "I'm not the one you should really appologize to." --- "Thank you." Micah watched the young girl drink from the bottle and noted the already surfacing bruises and scrapes on the girl; as much heart as she had Micah thought it in the girl's best interest to be done for the night. People around her were clamoring for more fighting, lessons, sparring, and whatever else. It was silly really. Micah herself was bumped into, jossled around and mostly just very annoyed at this crowd. Really it was like a disfunctional mosh pit or something very silly like that! "Is he alright? I hope I didn't seriously injure him...what am I going to tell his parents if something went wrong?" More annoyed now, Micah firmly shoved one person, who went into another and thankfully got the attention of several as she turned scolding eyes on them, "Give her some room, go talk to her pusher over there - isn't it obvious she's not going to talk to you? Go on," she shoo'd the mostly easily cowed assortment of silly boys over to the other girl. Well that would give her something to do and give this one a breather at least. "Sorry. Hi, I'm Chiaki." Glaring after the bulk that gave her angry glares and looks out of show than anythign else - there weren't many more in here who would actually bring up a fight, and Micah didn't fear this small gaggle of silly boys. Looking back at the drained girl she smiled, her features going a bit soft around the edges. "Call me Micah," she extended her hand to the girl friendly-like and then answered her previous questions, "I think he'll be just fine. He was searching for a fight eariler and you gave him exactly what he wanted. How are you, though? Anything hurting you? From what I could see you had two good fights." |

Lee looked at Izel and then his wolf spirit decided to appear on the table. Lee peered at it for a moment before he nodded and stood up, smiling slightly, his spirit moving by his side as he headed out of the Underground, truth be told he had had enough, and when some-one started telling him what he could or could not do like the way Izel was, that was enough for him. And with the Wolf spirit being around, it was a classic sign that it was time to become a lone wolf again, and Lee defiantly planned on doing that. Walking past a few people, one person even barged into Lee, giving them a rather nasty look, something the person didn’t take too well. Lee could fell the shadow overcoming him, but ‘thanks to Izel’ Lee was not in the mood. Turning around, Lee looked the guy straight in the eyes and mutters slowly ”Try it, and I send you through the wall to my left…” The guy seemed to find this all rather amusing, but Lee wasn’t in the mood. Taking a deep breath, his wolf ring beginning to glow a fiery red colour, the spirit turning into a wisps of smoke. Lee growled at the guy, clearly he wasn’t aware of what Lee had just done. The guy took a swing. Lee brought his arm up to block the arm, took it underneath the person and with a sharp sound there was a rather large crack from the guy’s arm, and with one throw, Lee slammed him into the wall. Looking around Lee shrugged and then headed out of the Club, maybe he could head to the rooftop, the sky looked nice and night time. Well, that is what Lee thought, some people thought it wasn’t…. |
