Adam was tired of the stresses of his school. He needed to find a way to calm down. He remembered something he did once...or was it twice a while back..Fishing. He recently bought all the things he needed to fish with. He cast his line out into the lake. "Man, I've not done this since Darrel was alive." Saying this, Adam let a small tear out, but he sniffled it away. An hour passed away, and not a fish was biting..."Man, this reminds me of that story about the Electrician who fished in his down time." He said to himself. He saw this on "1000 Ways to Die". An Electrician would go to the lake and fish to calm himself down. This one day, frustration set in as the electrician was not catching any fish himself. He went to his SUV and pulled out an eletrical cord. He harnessed power from the nearest pole and stuck it into the lake. Ergo, it made the fish go belly-up. However, the boat was rocking much, and a part of himself touched a metal portion of the boat. The fisherman was shocked to death. The show named it "Deadliest Catch". Thankfully, Adam would never think of doing something like that. |

Hatori was bored. He had already done enough training to last him a week and needed something to help him wind down. He was about to give up and just sit down doing nothing when he saw a kid walking toward teh lake with fishing gear. Fishing, now that sounded interesting. The only problem was, Hatori had no fishing gear. "Great," he said to himself, "How in the world am I going to fish now if I don't have any fishing gear." Then it hit him, animals in the wild used their claws to fish, and Hatori had a weapon that was just as good. Hatori arrived at the lake, carrying nothing more than a bucket in his left hand. Hes right had had a claw weapon on it, similar to the one used by Freddy Krueger. Hatori found a spot where he could stand in the shallow water and wait for fish to come close enough for him to catch. After waiting some time, he finally saw one getting close to him. "All right," he said to himself, "Let's see if this works." He brought his hand down as fast as he could, sent it flying through the water toward the fish, but just barely missed, causing the fish to swim away in panic. "Crap, this is harder than I thought." Hatori went back to waiting for the fish to show up, hoping that next time he wouldn't miss. |

"Sometimes, the truest test of a martial artist's patience is catching fish by hand... It takes patience...skill...persistance...determination." Adam said, chuckling at Hatori. |

Because Nadia wanted to get to know the school grounds better, and because her dragon Dalangal was curious about everything, Nadia went out exploring. Everything had been a bit hectic lately, and she wanted a chance to just be by herself, just take everything in. Though, it wasn't exactly possible to be alone when she had a minature dragon following her everywhere, but at least she could get away from people. Stepping out of the trees, Nadia gazed down at the lake. It looked peaceful there, the perfect place to just sit and wile a few hours away. But she hesitated. Before her powers had awakened, she'd loved being around water, any kind of water. Now she couldn't even touch it. In the end, Dalangal made the decision for her. Leaping off her shoulder, he toward the lake at somewhat of an angle. He'd seen the two boys fishing, and the water, and he wanted to take a closer look. Nadia took off after him, but she had no chance of matching his speed. Circling the two boys, he landed at the water's edge between them. Imediately his attention was drawn away from them to the water. Waddling over, he began to play in the shallows like a puppy. |
